It has a very well-developed world, people react to you (for example, if you are in panties, then people will laugh at you), there are cute animals and a bunch of activities that can even be found in a special application on your smartphone (you have it in the game).     I love this game
    While the story in Watch Dogs 1 is better the second improves every other aspect.
    Better hacking, better Open World and more fun to be had.

    Almost a great game, the multiplayer is very fun and so are the story missions, I always skipped the cutscenes because I found the group a little too hippy and cringe, But a promising direction for the Watch Dogs franchise.

    Much better than its predecessor, but it is not without faults. The game's optimization needs attention 6/10, graphics can be better especially as we played games like days gone they have proven it can be better so 7.5/10, It has a good storyline close to current reality 9/10, playtime or longevity is good 8/10, user-friendly (trophies and gameplay ) 9/10.Total of 7.9/10

    This may be my second favourite game. It’s so fun. My favourite thing to do in this game is hacking cars, I don’t know why it’s so fun probably because i’m a maniac and i like exploding things. The story isn’t great i don’t remember a lot of things about the story, but everything else is is great.

    Watch Dogs 2 is much better than the first game. It features a bright, colorful open-world, a fun cast of characters, a solid lead in Markus, a good story and fun gameplay. I actually got the Platinum trophy for this game, which tells you I put in many hours. It was just that entertaining and enjoyable. I love the quirky and funny vibe the game gives off. It's too bad with the more recentWatch Dogs 2 is much better than the first game.     Yesss!! This game is very good and had a good parkour also the combat. The graphic is very good for ps4 games and xbox one games and the fps is kindaaaaa good I guess. The mission is kinda fun too! But you cant ride helicopter and do slow mo like in watch dog 1 they should add it back!!! (Sorry if my english is bad)

    Almost everything in this game is great, for real. Nice game Ubisoft, if you didn't had failed in the first game, this game would got the appreciation that he deserved.

    This Game is so incredible, better than the first one, better mechanics, customize your weapons, your clothes, the missions are unique, an open world, rechargeable hacks, it looks realistic and more. I really enjoyed the experience of this game!!!

    I have played and have scored more than 90 percent in both parts of Watch dogs game , so i admit that this game is one of the best and closest GTA games ever made ( specially in Ps4 console ) @ThisisJimik

    I love this game. IMO its one of the most underrated games of the generation.

    I think one of the main aspects of whether or not you'll enjoy it is if you truly take advantage of all the game mechanics. If you just want to shoot everything up, this game may not be for you. But if you want to hack, use stealth and gadgets, and use the game world as your playground, this game is one of a kind.

There is plenty of content, the visual component is excellent even in 2020, the gameplay is very diverse and interesting.     I think this game did exactly what it should have after the first game. The first did best at just being a fun game but it tried to take it self seriously which watch dogs 2 fixed by being more goofy. This is a big improvement over the first game although I give it the same score as the first game because at the time I played both of these games I for some reason enjoyed the first more.I think this game did exactly what it should have after the first game.     After playing GTA V and Watch_dogs, Watch_dogs 2 was a complete disappointment. What makes a good open-world game are 3 things: The story, the gameplay, and the setting/graphics. The story was an improvement from the previous installment but the setting of San Francisco did not feel as lively as Chicago. The gunplay and driving of WD2 felt worse and setting up a Getaway shootout scenarioAfter playing GTA V and Watch_dogs, Watch_dogs 2 was a complete disappointment. What makes a good open-world game are 3 things: The story, the gameplay, and the setting/graphics. The story was an improvement from the previous installment but the setting of San Francisco did not feel as lively as Chicago. The gunplay and driving of WD2 felt worse and setting up a Getaway shootout scenario didn't feel as fluid as WD.     Characters and the story is 2 dimensional. Story is poor. Gameplay has improved since the first game but the story got worse. Caharacters are so shallow that I for the first time in a long time I have skipped quite a lot of cutscenes.side stories are not interesting either. Glad it is finished.

    This game is almost just like the first in every way. The hacking mechanics are barely improved, but the fun that was in the first game is in this one too, so no need to worry.     Uninspired tripe. Un-skippable cutscenes, and the forced use of Ubisoft Club to be able to play online. Sadly 'Ubisoft Club' experiences online issues so frequently you'll be lucky to ever get online with friends. Last straw for me, no more of my hard earned money going on games from Ubisoft for uninspired rinse and repeat gameplay.

    this is also an amazing game, the first one is way better than the second one but they both brilliant, definitely worth buying. story is great, love main character, parkour is amazing and fun, gameplay is sick and I feel connected to the city. this game is that kind of game that you want to buy first when you get a PS4 or XBOX. top quality game

    There's so much player can do Story had couple of sad moments for me but this does not affect The perfect gameplay! It has several minuses like shooting and couple ofbugs but they are very rare.

Franchement je suis un grand fan d’Ubisoft et particulièrement de celle licence (surtout le pour le côté infiltration et code).     Parlons de Watch dogs 2... On ne peut refaire la roue, mais je crois qu’il fallait garder Aiden (même le faire mourir ) et introduire Marcus. On aurait eu plus d’émotions et une belle continuité. Avec Marcus on a gagné en agilité mais on a perdu l’histoire et la belle maturité.

    Les points positifs :
    +Une orientation plus infiltration
    +Une belle Map
    +la customisation (vêtements + voiture)

    Les points faibles
    -Les missions secondaires mal embarquées et donc moins intéressantes
    -L’interface avec les applications bien pensé mais mal exploité
    - Le gros point noir c’est l’histoire. C’est en fait la faiblesse d’Ubisoft à mon avis contrairement aux jeux produits par Naughty dog et Rockstar. L’histoire n’est pas mauvaise mais à aucun moment on est transporté. On ne s’identifie pas au personnage ... L’histoire est plate. Je m’attendais à plus de tension notamment avec le PDG de Blulme mais je suis resté sur ma fin. quel dommage !!!    … Expand

    After the complete downgrade disaster of Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2 is back and it’s prettier than ever. Sometimes, the sequel drags in terms of a cliché narrative that was heavily influenced by Sam Esmail’s Mr. Robot, but the overall freedom of activities and things to do worked quite well in this follow up.

    Didn't pick this game up when it came out as I was a bit disappointed with the first one so picked it up when it was on offer a little while ago and was so glad I did. It's everything the first one should of been. Which is why I think a lot of people overlooked this game.

    I wasn't happy with the first game and this one didn't make any better impression. Actually, it felt worse. The main reason is an average (if it is even average) story and emotionless side missions like "go there and do that 10 times in a row". I quit it after few hours of playing.

    A gaming experience that just screams "FRESH'. Every aspect of W_D2 is just fresh, the amazing San Fran setting, the music, the characters, the fun, quirky story - everything feels like it was made with care and joy. Marcus is a massive upgrade from Aiden and the overall direction the series has decided to take shows that, when handled well, the Watch Dogs serioes can be a great one.

    My first impression was "Oh noooo! A Will.i.am simulator" - I hated the opening of the game after coming fresh from WD1. Once I got settled and changed my outfit (why can't I create my own character? It wouldn't affect anything at all + would also let my daughter play as a girl) it became my GTA San Andreas for this generation.

    Watch Dogs 2 is way better than its predecessor. I think they created a really interesting open world with a unique vibe. In some areas, San Francisco is gorgeous, especially the Silicon Valley area. The gameplay mechanics, in my opinion, are really well done. I like the way the different environmental puzzles are made. In terms of genre, WD 1 seemed more like a third-person shooter withWatch Dogs 2 is way better than its predecessor. I think they created a really interesting open world with a unique vibe. In some areas, San Francisco is gorgeous, especially the Silicon Valley area. The gameplay mechanics, in my opinion, are really well done. I like the way the different environmental puzzles are made. In terms of genre, WD 1 seemed more like a third-person shooter with hacking tricks but Watch Dogs 2 is more like a real stealth and hacking game where the levels can be seen as puzzles. That's why the game is not for everyone and that's why also some persons who enjoyed WD1 didn't like Watch Dogs 2.

    In fact, in order to enjoy this game, you have to play it stealthy. You can have access to different guns but I found the most of them completely useless. I tried to go gun-blazing but the experience was too frustrating.

    There is a general consensus that the story is weak and I completely agree (otherwise, I would have a 9 rating for this game). It's not that the story is really weak but it's more that there is not really a coherent story. This game is more structured in different missions who all have their unique setting and story. However, I found most of the characters funny.

    To conclude, I would add also that you can choose your own soundtrack which I appreciated. I would recommend their electronic soundtrack. Watch Dogs 2 is a modern open-world game with fun missions. I give it 8,4/10    … Expand

    It's a surprisingly good game. I really enjoyed every moment of it. To be honest I didn't have any expectation, because I didn't like the first watch dogs but I absolutely recommend this one and looking forward the next episode of the series.

One of the first missions in this game is to steal a cybercar (i know) and escape the police. It's actually easy to do, but if anything happens to the car while you're out (you can't escape the police in the car; i mean they spawn on the roads in front of you.. it's enough to make Ghost Recon 2 blush) then it's a mission failure. The whole thing feels poorly thought out, don't worry there's a premium store for your real money, if anyone has ever bought anything from it, they should be tagged and helped by the government for their mental illness.

    This is lazy open world development at it's worst, it's over cliched and the physics look designed by a 12 year old. The truck i drove, was 90% tipped over then righted itself. I'm not sure how that's possible.

    This game is great for 12 year olds (although given the rating of the game, it makes you wonder). I'd rather have my teeth pulled out than have to play this    … Expand

    Story is missing. Physic is unreal and silly. FPS fall under 30. Gameplay is booring. This game is for teenager who is playing on hackers... hackers in unreal world. Green score? For what? GTA V is 1000x better game. It waste time.

    Great game. Lots of fun. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than GTA V - mainly due to more interactive and varied gameplay - and lots of fun stuff to do and ways to wreak havoc in a fun way

    I just finished the main campaign and I can say this is a fun but frustrating game. The basic hacking skills like spamming someones phone or ear piece work well and are a bit OP. As someone who lived in the Bay Area most of my life Ubisoft did an amazing job highlighting the key parts of the various cities. I felt like I was running and driving around home! On my laptop it ran pretty smoothly most of the time with hiccups in FPS here or there that minorly hampered the experience. At one point it glitched out during the mission complete cut scene and made me repeat a pretty long mission which was annoying. Mission types are pretty much rinse and repeat the same few types of mission and aren't nearly as creative at GTA 5. However, the characters were very likable and 100X better than Aiden Pearce. As a group they seemed like a real-world group of friends. The story was nothing to write home about. The villain was like a watered down Bond Villain in that he's intelligent, capable and taken seriously from start to finish rather than being made a full of like in some games. However, overall the game doesn't take itself too seriously with a lot of light hearted humor. Top to bottom this is an average-good game. Fun to knock out over a weekend and never touch again.… Expand

    I liked WD2 way more than the first one. The concept of a hacker group felt right in the sunny world of San Fransico. The missions were fun but sometimes repetitive. Huge negative point were the driving mechanics. It was so bad yet a crucial part of the gameplay. The story was a little thin and characters needed a bit more background but after all a nice experience.

    This is the type of game where I didn't like it at first but I kept playing and ended up really enjoying it. It was so much fun. It had fun game play, a little inconsistent here and there but pretty solid overall. Also the game play is a mix or stealth and action, you get to pick your style but I would recommend you play it the stealthy way its a lot more fun.     I played this game on day release when it first came out, although some reason I didn’t beat it and put it down. I recently went back to it for this first time in like 3 years and wow this game got better with age I don’t know why but it felt so fun and the world felt alive! I don’t know why younger me put it down but damn I’m glad I picked it back up.

    I bought this game for 20$ on discount and it ain't worth 5. For 5 hours that i spent playing this piece of utter garbage, i had stuck 10+ times and couldn't get out,because the hero CAN'T **** JUMP unless it's scripted.Why not make the same system as in all AC games??? Overall **** game,**** story,**** protagonist,**** quests,**** soundtrack,the city is nice,but that's it.DONT BUY THIS GAME!

    Better than Watch Dogs 1, but not better enough for me to even give a crap about this IP. Another generic open world contemporary crime driven game. Beyond the hacking gimmicks this genre/style been done to death in GTA/Saints Row and better.

    what I like about this game the most is the creativity and it's different from other games.
    you can control stuff, solve puzzles, huge open world filled with life and fun stuff to do.
    good story and character, one of the best Ubisoft games recently.

Stealth is bad, NPC can appears in random places near my character, they are so stupid and after 1 - 2 minutes of tense siege of me they forget about my existence and stop calling for help, really why?     The game is good, it has awesome graphics, awesome map and awesome map but I rated it a 6 because it's get bored really fast, why? Because the missions aren't as great as GTA series imo, and it only has 40 missions? Only 40? Even GTA 5 has more missions than this, GTA v is more fun imo..

    Cool script. Cool UI. Cool Soundtracks. Cool Graphic. Cool Gameplay. A lot of content. And then: **** car physics. **** shoot physics. **** imbalance chases. That`s all. Despite the disadvantages, the game deserves high praise, at least, because it is the only project of this scale in this setting

They seem to have captured the feel of the Bay Area very well, which motivates you to complete the activities beyond the missions.     Played through this the whole way through in 2017 on XBOX One and really liked it. Purchased it again for the PS4 and while I still like the game, the narrative feels remarkably unengaging. Every time you, as Dedsec, commit to some huge statement, a news story often later explains how the problem became somewhat worse as a result of your actions. This could be a potentially interestingPlayed through this the whole way through in 2017 on XBOX One and really liked it. Purchased it again for the PS4 and while I still like the game, the narrative feels remarkably unengaging. Every time you, as Dedsec, commit to some huge statement, a news story often later explains how the problem became somewhat worse as a result of your actions. This could be a potentially interesting commentary on how the aggressive hacktivism you and your group enact in the game might do more harm than good, even when those involved had initially good intentions. However, this idea isn't really reflected in the main story in any meaningful way. The main cast (who are all characterised wonderfully through good writing, design and performances) never grow or are ever clearly bothered by this at any point. Watch Dogs 2 never commits to anything bold, and thus this "commentary" feels like an afterthought.

    The gameplay is fun. Every scenario and pretty well designed, allowing for a lot of creativity and freedom in how the player can complete any given mission. However, despite giving the player a taser for the non-lethal option, there are never any consequences for killing people so it ends up functioning as a super weak role-playing mechanic and basically nothing else. Encounters lack a need to stop and think about your actions before proceeding which is a real shame because it feels like the game is designed for that very purpose. YouTuber SuperBunnyhop suggested that Ubisoft remove guns entirely from the next Watch Dogs game and while I can't ever see that happening, I couldn't agree more. It would be a very brave move, but definitely one the game would benefit from. Reports are that the next game is set in London, where gun control is massively stricter, so fingers crossed that means what I think it might mean.

    Ultimately, the issue with Watch Dogs 2, and basically every Ubisoft game, is that it lacks the courage to commit to anything remotely interesting. The main issue is one which breaks it at the core, and that's the fact that Ubisoft lacks a spine. The developer is too scared to break the mould and that's tragic because they are clearly talented enough to deliver something truly special. Unfortunately, for now, their games are simply forgettable, and that's the gravest sin of all.    … Expand

    Despite a few flaws, Watch Dogs 2 delivers where the original game failed. The game has improved on every aspect and provides a vibrant city with lots of hacking fun. The story is dull without any special moments but the immersive open world with lots of quests will keep you entertained.

    Watch Dogs 2 brilliantly solves the main issue the first game had while providing a world full of enjoyable missions. We faced some problems with the camera, especially during the car race. We also faced some issues with connectivity and online play. In the end, Watch Dogs 2 is a game that delivers in most aspects and provides hours of enjoyable content.
