Sep 6, 2017This game is just as good the second time through on the PS4 as it was on the PC. The story, characters, music, setting, world... everything is great. 10/10 for Toby Fox and Undertale.

Oct 30, 2017People like to hate for the sake of hating. Undertale is surely a failure of it's own success. This game is good, it deserves much higher score than a 6.2.

Sep 14, 2017Undertale is a masterpiece being hated on by people who are desperate to sound interesting. If you love games with deep and interesting stories, charming retro graphics, outstanding music, memorable characters and several mysteries that will stick with you this is your game.

Aug 23, 2017Undertale is more than just a indie retro-RPG game. Undertale is not about exploration, nice pixel art ou epic combat moments (the boss fights are great btw), Undertale is about characters and the impact of your actions in the setting. If you want a game to get involved with the story and characters, Undertale is the game for you, but if you want sometihing more superficial this is not for you

Aug 15, 2017This version of the game also just came out today (as of writing this), isn't on a Nintendo console like BOTW is (not really getting why you even think BOTW and Undertale are similar) and still has a 92 on the PC version.
Whatever score you go off of Undertale is still a memorably excellent experience worth the time. -

Aug 15, 2017THE most innovative RPG of this decade. It's so simple, but so deep, I want to scream. Characters, music, plot - all on the highest level. Sony players now сan also feel the magic of friendship
11 outta 10 -
Aug 20, 2017Perfect, a game with a great music, a nice story and i love the "battle minigames". San's boss battle is very complicated if you selected genocide route and the characters are very charismatic

Sep 3, 2017Undertale does this bizzare and rare thing when you actually like the characters. The game is filled with humour and charm. The soundtrack is AMAZING. The songs are extremely catchy and good. I am not the biggest fan of turnbased combat, but undertale's combat is so different and fun.
The fandom is cancer...
But does the community ruin the gameplay? Answer: Not at all.
Not at all. -

Nov 16, 2017This is such a sweet indie work of passion. There is genuine quality and dedication put in to this game. If you don't understand this game it does not make it bad. My heroes journey through this game kept me coming back and it never grew boring or soulless. This game has a soul and if you appreciate works of art then this is for you.

Playstation Official Magazine UKOct 15, 2017It's masterful, and practically unique - which is just about the best way to describe the game as a whole. [Nov 2017, p.88]

Sep 15, 2017Undertale is the rare RPG that makes you feel tons of different emotions.

Sep 12, 2017Despite the fact that Undertale didn't tick all my boxes, it was still an enjoyable game. Its visuals and music brought to mind some of my most cherished memories from my formative years, and are top-notch even for games that try to evoke that retro vibe. Its narrative is tongue-in-cheek and consistantly sends surprises the player's way. The game excels at asking players to enjoy it in ways that are incongruous with the traditional way RPGs are designed. Unfortunately, those looking for a more traditional experience may feel short-changed here. The lion's share of the game's character, lore, and emotional impact is experienced by challenging yourself to play the entire game in a completely different fashion.
