Aug 28, 2017Boy! What an underwhelming and boring amateur load of crap; game looks like like a great game for the atari 2600 and plays like a glorified mini game. And the writing seems taken straight out of a Teletubbys episode or something. Not even that sad about wasting the money. But very upset because the hype was through the roof!
OTOH Maybe it's aimed and understood exclusively by millennials. -
Mar 25, 2018the game is good, with good songs, incredible characters and an incredible story, but the game is only 6 hours long, which makes it a bit short

Nov 16, 2017This is such a sweet indie work of passion. There is genuine quality and dedication put in to this game. If you don't understand this game it does not make it bad. My heroes journey through this game kept me coming back and it never grew boring or soulless. This game has a soul and if you appreciate works of art then this is for you.

Dec 30, 2017A work so genial and original, where the definitions of "right" and "wrong" acquire new meanings, and in which the impact of our decisions takes on a tangible value.

Aug 29, 2019A lot of 0... Hey, Soniboys, isn't graphics important? The main thing in the game is the story?!

Nov 16, 2019Undertale, the best game of 2015.
I love this game because it has a different mode than the other games and a good story. -
Dec 22, 2019Beautiful and inspiring. Suitable for oldgamers. Mixed gameplay between jrpg and bullet hell. Of incredible creativity. Charismatic, cute characters. One of the few cases of games that when you turn off you miss everyone you met there. Mindblowing as it progresses. Great experience!

Oct 30, 2017People like to hate for the sake of hating. Undertale is surely a failure of it's own success. This game is good, it deserves much higher score than a 6.2.

Playstation Official Magazine UKOct 15, 2017It's masterful, and practically unique - which is just about the best way to describe the game as a whole. [Nov 2017, p.88]

Sep 15, 2017Undertale is the rare RPG that makes you feel tons of different emotions.

Sep 12, 2017Despite the fact that Undertale didn't tick all my boxes, it was still an enjoyable game. Its visuals and music brought to mind some of my most cherished memories from my formative years, and are top-notch even for games that try to evoke that retro vibe. Its narrative is tongue-in-cheek and consistantly sends surprises the player's way. The game excels at asking players to enjoy it in ways that are incongruous with the traditional way RPGs are designed. Unfortunately, those looking for a more traditional experience may feel short-changed here. The lion's share of the game's character, lore, and emotional impact is experienced by challenging yourself to play the entire game in a completely different fashion.
