Mar 25, 2018the game is good, with good songs, incredible characters and an incredible story, but the game is only 6 hours long, which makes it a bit short

Nov 16, 2017This is such a sweet indie work of passion. There is genuine quality and dedication put in to this game. If you don't understand this game it does not make it bad. My heroes journey through this game kept me coming back and it never grew boring or soulless. This game has a soul and if you appreciate works of art then this is for you.

Dec 30, 2017A work so genial and original, where the definitions of "right" and "wrong" acquire new meanings, and in which the impact of our decisions takes on a tangible value.

Aug 29, 2019A lot of 0... Hey, Soniboys, isn't graphics important? The main thing in the game is the story?!

Nov 16, 2019Undertale, the best game of 2015.
I love this game because it has a different mode than the other games and a good story. -
Dec 22, 2019Beautiful and inspiring. Suitable for oldgamers. Mixed gameplay between jrpg and bullet hell. Of incredible creativity. Charismatic, cute characters. One of the few cases of games that when you turn off you miss everyone you met there. Mindblowing as it progresses. Great experience!

Oct 30, 2017People like to hate for the sake of hating. Undertale is surely a failure of it's own success. This game is good, it deserves much higher score than a 6.2.

Sep 7, 2017this game is cool and I like it a lot. it has some cool elements in it that remind me of the old days of rpg's. even though this game is almost 2 years old it still holds up as one of the best games of that year

Aug 23, 2017Undertale is more than just a indie retro-RPG game. Undertale is not about exploration, nice pixel art ou epic combat moments (the boss fights are great btw), Undertale is about characters and the impact of your actions in the setting. If you want a game to get involved with the story and characters, Undertale is the game for you, but if you want sometihing more superficial this is not for you

Sep 6, 2017This game is just as good the second time through on the PS4 as it was on the PC. The story, characters, music, setting, world... everything is great. 10/10 for Toby Fox and Undertale.
-
Sep 3, 2017Undertale does this bizzare and rare thing when you actually like the characters. The game is filled with humour and charm. The soundtrack is AMAZING. The songs are extremely catchy and good. I am not the biggest fan of turnbased combat, but undertale's combat is so different and fun.
The fandom is cancer...
But does the community ruin the gameplay? Answer: Not at all.
Not at all.

Playstation Official Magazine UKOct 15, 2017It's masterful, and practically unique - which is just about the best way to describe the game as a whole. [Nov 2017, p.88]

Sep 15, 2017Undertale is the rare RPG that makes you feel tons of different emotions.

Sep 12, 2017Despite the fact that Undertale didn't tick all my boxes, it was still an enjoyable game. Its visuals and music brought to mind some of my most cherished memories from my formative years, and are top-notch even for games that try to evoke that retro vibe. Its narrative is tongue-in-cheek and consistantly sends surprises the player's way. The game excels at asking players to enjoy it in ways that are incongruous with the traditional way RPGs are designed. Unfortunately, those looking for a more traditional experience may feel short-changed here. The lion's share of the game's character, lore, and emotional impact is experienced by challenging yourself to play the entire game in a completely different fashion.
