    Uncharted 4 is an absolute masterpiece. This is a game that hooked me from the beginning and didn't let go until the final frame.

    Gameplay: Reeeeeeaaally fun as aways. The controls work out fine. The animations are smooth and natural. You don't feel like controlling a piece of polygons with repetitive animations. It actually looks nice and immersive.

    Story: The story makes a good ending for Nathan's days of treasure hunter. It seeks to give the importance that each character deserves, and its well explained. The story has a lot of fan services, which for me is amazing, since I'm a fan of the uncharted series. BUT, for most of the people who aren't used to the series, some parts maybe fell a little over paced, wich is understandable.

    Characters: Every character FEELS real. Maybe because of the great actors behind them, such as Nolan North as the charismatic Nathan Drake, and also Troy Baker as Sam. None of the characters are overshadowed. Each character has its role and importance. The dialogs are funny makes you want to be part of the conversation. Also, i like these new villains. Even though Rafe has a very cliche motivation, it is well interpreted and very convincing, just like Nadine.

    Multiplayer: It's fun (i still play it: D), BUT, why the heck have they removed the split screen option? It really makes no sense to me.

    Enviroment: Oh boy the enviroment. Naughty Dog shows in Uncharted 4 the definition of carefullness and attention to details. At countless times i just stopped to enjoy the view of mountains, the jungle, the variation of vegetation and different textures in different places. It's just gorgeous, it really makes you fell the adventure.

    Why it's not 10/10?
    For me as an Uncharted fan, it's 10/10, but i want to make my reviews as if i'm a common user. And for a common user, The pace in this game maybe makes you lose the adrenaline that the Game wants you to feel. So i'ts 9/10, and a MUST PLAY game.    … Expand

    sin duda uno de los mejores juego de la generación y uno de los mejores de la saga, uncharted 4 es la muestra clara de que el cine y los vídeo juegos pueden coexistir juntos, simplemente una obra maestra.

    Jogo obrigatório pra quem tem um Playstation 4: a história é muito boa, os personagens são muito legais, a jogabilidade é incrível e os gráficos são impressionantes! Só não dou nota 10 porquê pra platinar é preciso conquistar alguns troféus no Multiplayer.

    This game is an amazing game graphically for the Ps4 and took a big leap ahead of any games on the console at the time. Turn motion blur off and get invested in the amazing story of Nathan Drake. I hadn't played any of the other uncharted games to completion as the controls seemed clunky to me, this game however handles well, feels looks and sounds great.     I only completed Uncharted 4 in 2020. But even now it is one of the most beautiful and cinematic games. And this is its main advantage. But the gameplay and storyline are still average. But the game is good. And it is often breathtaking.

    For me, it's GOTY 2016 (just my opinion). It is an incredible evolution compared to previous games (which are already very good)! Only more negative thing is the predictability in some moments!

    This Game is nearly perfect, The Story, the brutally good graphics and most of the gameplay are brilliant.

    Story

    I loved that the story is more native and not again a world ending scenario. Its just about helping others with a big pirate treasure and a good twist. The best part is that you learn a lot more about Nathan and the other characters. I was worried that they will go again for a apocalyptic scenario but they nailed it with this more "silent" story.

    The Epilogue is just perfect. I had some water in the eyes.

    Gameplay

    For the most part good, the modernised gameplay is really good. The other games of Uncharted didnt aged really well in that case. I liked the weapons, the shootouts, most of the riddles (could have been more) and the climbing, which got good utilities added.

    I didnt like that you cant see good enough if enemies throw a grenade onto you.

    Also my big criticpoint about the game are the open world parts. They just doesnt seem to fit and were (besides the stunning visuals) boring and felt empty. It was just a Place to place more and more collectibles, which never motivated me in this franchise.

    Visuals

    Stunning, it is a beatiful looking Game. The detailed linear places like houses, ships are just lovely to look at. That is why the open world sections feels even more empty, cause you didnt really have a reason to go to other places. They could have add several ways to enter the next part of the section to motivate you. Also these open worlds were quite lifeless (I mean madagaskr is a big flora/fauna paradies and you can only see like 5 animals).

    Summary

    For me this Game is nearly perfect, I wouldnt have needed the open world part and this got my review one point down. It just doesnt fit for me and wasnt necessary 9/10.    … Expand

    It’s definitely one of the best Action/Adventure games ever made. Graphically amazing, for a 2016 game. Definitely a 9/10 for it’s Genre a must play for gamers!

    SO beautiful! Epic views every few moments! I made so many screenshots :-D
    Other part of game was standard for uncharted talking, climbing, solving puzzles, finding something, shooting and again talking.. I liked it though, because any part too long would be boring. Many funny lines :-) I enjoyed playing and my wife watching me playing;-)

    IF had to rate it id give it a 9.7 since i cant ill give it a 10. having been a fan of the franchise for so long. this game had me smiling all the way. its not to say there´s problem. i hate for example scripted fights ur meant to loose , but a lot of games do that overall an amazing journey and a satisfying ending in a thriller of a series of games i so love

    Probably my favorite of the series. Length-wise it felt like it started to drag toward the back half, but it picked up again at the very end, and this didn't detract too much from how fun the story was.

But this is rather insignificant story wise and as a whole doesn't really matter. The set pieces were great and incredibly fun, probably the best in the series only rivaled by the train in unchated 2. The grappling hook is also a great addition and I like that you spend a lot of time in libertalia. However there were 1 or 2 chapters right after you head to the islands that could have been cut or shortened. They got boring and repetitive pretty fast. But like I said the game is great, has great characters, is fun to play and has great set pieces.… Expand

    E podido acompañar a Nathan Drake a lo largo de 5 grandiosas aventuras incluyendo esta y como es costumbre no decepciona en ningún momento. Pocas cosas tan gratificantes como probar un videojuego con el nivel de atención al detalle como lo es uncharted 4 la manera en la que Nate se limpia el sudor o la manera en la que el viento mueve el follaje de los escenarios es increíble sin duda esE podido acompañar a Nathan Drake a lo largo de 5 grandiosas aventuras incluyendo esta y como es costumbre no decepciona en ningún momento.     Uncharted 4 is a stunning addition to the Uncharted franchise, that expands on the characters and gameplay on pretty much every level from the previous games.
    From a technical and visual standpoint this is one of the best games out there, even now 4 years later, it's still one of the most stunning games I've ever played and a huge improvement from the previous games.     From a technical and visual standpoint this is one of the best games out there, even now 4 years later, it's still one of the most stunning games I've ever played and a huge improvement from the previous games. The gameplay has also been improved upon, with better aiming, much more open areas so you can plan your attack on enemies, and absolutely excellent melee choreography, that make the melee combats you engage in extremely satisfying and nice to look at. Stealth aspect has been heavily improved upon from the previous games because here it's actually present, don't get me wrong I know you can stealth kill in the previous games but it was never that effective, you would mostly just go in guns blazing. Here stealth can actually be fun with huge open areas with a lot of cover and tall grass or water so you can hide. For me the gameplay was fun from start to finish.
    The story is also the best of the series, with amazing writing, and huge improvements to characterization and I'm mostly talking about Rafe and Sam. Uncharted 4 throws this huge curveball of Nate having a brother, even though we've never heard him mentioned in the previous games. Even though that's the case, Sam is written so well that he feels like he belongs there. Good writing also applies to this game's villain Rafe. All the villains from the previous Uncharted games, were really over the top and kind of didn't fell real. This is not the case with Rafe, he's got good motivations for being the villain and doesn't feel all evil. Even though the narrative of this game is better than the previous ones it still suffers from some of the same problems which I can't really explain well in the spoiler free review, however I'm not talking about ludonarrative dissonance which is often considered a negative with the Uncharted series, I however don't mind it.
    To sum up, Uncharted 4 is a visually stunning game, that keeps the spirit of the originals, with an improved narrative and gameplay. I highly recommend everyone that owns a PS4 that hasn't tried this game already should get this game right now and play it.

    Story amazing, graphics keep you immersed.
    Shooting mechanics are great.

    The only issue preventing a 10 out of 10 is too many enemies at once during certain points.

    As someone who liked the first three Uncharted games well enough, this one blew me away. Not only is the graphics absolutely gorgeous and the gameplay more refined and creative, this was the first time where I LOVED these characters. In previous entires, I thought Nathan, Sully, and Elena were always likable characters, and I enjoyed their dialogue banter, but I never truly invested inAs someone who liked the first three Uncharted games well enough, this one blew me away. Not only is the graphics absolutely gorgeous and the gameplay more refined and creative, this was the first time where I LOVED these characters. In previous entires, I thought Nathan, Sully, and Elena were always likable characters, and I enjoyed their dialogue banter, but I never truly invested in their stories until this one. Uncharted 4's storytelling is at such a higher caliber where I didn't feel like I was watching videogame cutscenes, but rather watching a full-blown movie with playable scenes. Rather than just structuring the game in a simple Indiana Jones throwback where there's treasure and we need to get it first (don't get me wrong, that's still there), I felt the narrative of Nate pulling himself out of retirement to help his long-lost brother was incredibly gripping. Every character feels more real with something constantly at stake. Characters make decisions that you don't always want them to, but it makes for a game that's so much more compelling and exciting.

    My only minor complaint is the combat can be frustrating. It's definitely far better than the older games and it's certainly fun. But I found myself pretty annoyed with how many bullets the enemies would soak up. I can go for a challenge but I also want my weapons to feel effective. I also thought it was cute that this game added stealth mechanics when most scenes are in broad daylight and the gameplay itself clearly wasn't designed to be stealth-friendly. I would usually just go into every scene guns blazing.

    Definitely a must-play PS4 game. I'm glad I found it. Even this late, it's still worth playing. And it helps solidify that Naughty Dog puts out my absolute favorite games.    … Expand

    The graphics are still mind blowing 6 years later, the story is the best one in the series, the guns feel good, the voice acting is perfect, this is overall an amazing game

    Another amazing Uncharted-game, the second best in my opinion. The story is maybe a little weaker than the others for me, but it makes it up with stunning graphics, improved AI and game mechanics. Must play!

    Very good but not as good as previous games in the franchise. The uncharted series is undoubtedly Sonys best franchise in my view but this game shows the first cracks starting to form within the previously unstoppable Naughty Dog. Reading some of the conflict playing out inside the studio during this games development you can understand why the game came up slightly short of the previousVery good but not as good as previous games in the franchise.     Despite being my first Uncharted game I quickly fell in love with the Nathan, Sam and Sully. Their individual idiosyncrasies helped to warm me into the series, despite being the final instalment of Nathan's story. That and also the breath-taking views of ruins to caves and mountains filled me with wonder. The overall gameplay was also enjoyable with fierce gunfights and stealth sectionsDespite being my first Uncharted game I quickly fell in love with the Nathan, Sam and Sully. Their individual idiosyncrasies helped to warm me into the series, despite being the final instalment of Nathan's story. That and also the breath-taking views of ruins to caves and mountains filled me with wonder. The puzzles too were fun and served to take a break from the wonder of exploration and the appropriate feeling of discovery in uncharted lands.

Coming from The Last of Us you feel home directly with the commands and buttonmapping. This epic travel in those games is nice, it really brings you in an adventurous world and reminds you of the great Indy movies.     Zudem hat Naughty Dog von ihren Erfahrungen mit The Last of Us gelernt und so vor allem die Beziehungen um die Hauptcharaktere deutlich weiter entwickelt. Diese wirken interaktiver und können so die Immersion des Spiels deutlich steigern. Die Interaktion der Charaktere hilft auch dabei, sich bei den teils doch sehr ausladenden Kletterpassagen nicht so schnell zu langweilen. Die Shootermechanik hingegen bieten hauptsächlich wieder altbekanntes und ja, manche Ballerei wirkt auch im vierten Teil wieder eher deplatziert. Schön ist aber, dass die Gegner KI merklich verbessert wurde, was vor allem einer Stealth orientierten Spielweise zu Gute kommt, die sich in Uncharted 4 wirklich unglaublich gut anfühlt. Ich bin sehr gespannt wie sich die Fortschritte, die Naughty Dog hier gemacht hat, im kommenden The Last of Us Sequel auswirken werden!

    Wer kurzweilige Triple A Unterhaltung mag, der wird an Uncharted 4 einen Heidenspaß haben. Besser ausgesehen und gespielt hat sich ein Uncharted nämlich nie. Und mit den Fortschritten, die Naughty Dog mit dem vierten Teil ihres Franchises gemacht haben, muss man das Genre Battle zwischen Tomb Raider und Uncharted nun auch klar zugunsten von Uncharted entscheiden.     Uncharted 2 is probably my favourite ps3 game. So when this installation was released I was excited.

    Luckily the game is an absolute gem, true uncharted fun! The one thing I would say is the puzzles are very easy...

    Highlights for me are the Easter eggs and the absolute twists and turns in the story!

En términos gráficos el juego luce genial , excelente manejo de texturas, luces, sombras y demases. Recomiendo jugarlo, ya que personalmente pienso que es el mejor Uncharted de la saga.… Expand

Uncharted 4 is one of the best-looking games to date, it has some of the most thrilling level design to explore and the action set pieces are the series’ best. As extras go, the multiplayer is very entertaining and the ability to play just the encounters from the campaign is a great touch. That is why it hurts to say the game comes so close to perfection, but just misses the mark thanks to some baffling design decisions with combat. The major one being how the game handles weapon recoil. In ANY other 3rd person shooter you can be confident that as long as you aren’t aiming like an idiot or spray and praying like a mad man, your bullets will hit what you’re aiming at. In Uncharted 4 weapon recoil is like a spin of the roulette wheel, instead of predicable recoil patterns and being able to learn how a weapon handles in order to control recoil – after the first trigger pull your bullets will go pretty much wherever they want. Given how much the game punishes you for being out of cover by having you die quickly and having enemies aggressively flank you with better accuracy than you, not being able to rely on your gun makes fire fights frustrating and the WORST in the series. If it wasn’t for this which nearly stopped me playing at several points, I would have given the game 10/10.… Expand

    This game is easily one of the best I've ever played. The game's story is very unique, and the puzzles are a joy to solve. The only fault I would give this game is that the story gets kind of dry towards the end, but the ending is truly worth the little bit of dry story.

    I have to say that this one of the most beautiful and interesting games I have ever played before. I never came across this franchise before but I am more than happy that I did. I hoped combat to be more challenging, that every choice you make will have an impact.

    One of the most beautiful games on the PlayStation 4. I never played the first 3 games, soo this was a completely new thing for me. Man, I loved every single second of this game. Not a 10 because after 7/8 hours it becomes repetitive, but still soo enjoyable because of the terrific plot.

This character arc is what differentiates A Thief's End from it's predecessors, and see how far he's come by the end of the game is extremely satisfying. The technical aspects of the game are incredible, and 4 years later is still one of the best presentations on the P4. Gameplay is purposely on the simpler end to provide seamless animations during enemy encounters and world interaction. I found the climbing and platforming sections drawn out, especially since there wasn't much of a challenge to them (press X multiple times until you arrive at your destination), and this wouldn't have bothered me much if climbing weren't understandably so prevalent throughout the game. Overall it's my favourite Uncharted game, and I highly recommend it to every PS4 owner.… Expand

Sam was a good inclusion and Rafe was a great antagonist, friends to enemies was perfectly done and so was the final boss fight. The gameplay ran very smooth and the updated graphics made the game better. The pacing could have been better and I would have loved to have seen more Elena and Sully but overall.     Uncharted 4 is a landmark title that anyone remotely interested in interactive storytelling should invest in. Naughty Dog has once again raised the bar across the industry. Thrilling shootouts, a staggering level of detail, breathtaking visuals and emotional depth come together to make Uncharted 4: A Thief's End a must-play masterpiece.

    Stating that the forthcoming game will be the last rendezvous with a popular, charismatic hero is a rare phenomenon. I congratulate Naughty Dog on their courage and in spite of myself keep my fingers crossed for them to stick to their decision. The farewell party they threw for Nate is simply spectacular. This is how I want to remember him, not as an old man who rubbed his joints with pain cream and then found a UFO. Uncharted 4 is a brilliant game and a breathtaking demonstration of what PS4 is capable of. [07/2016, p.56]
