    With each map consisting of three islands, a large variety of buildings, and 30 story missions, there’s more to do than ever, which makes it ideal for beginners to the series. Just don’t expect innovation over previous Tropicos or similar games. [Issue@168, p86]

    Tropico 6 doesn’t stray too far from its comfort zone but it keeps on offering good fun while being very steady in its solid gameplay mechanics.

    I am giving this a 10 solely based on the amazing jump in the quality of the graphics between Tropico 5 and Tropico 6. I've been playing gamesI am giving this a 10 solely based on the amazing jump in the quality of the graphics between Tropico 5 and Tropico 6. I've been playing games my whole life, and largely feel that graphics are overrated. But I have never seen such a jump in quality between two entries in a franchise before, and feel like it is worth drawing attention to and, in this case at least, it greatly improves the game.

    I have played through Tropico 5 multiple times, so I am a hardcore fan. To be honest, I am having trouble with some aspects of this new entry. I am playing through the second mission twice now, because I failed it the first time. It seems like, as with Tropico 5, doing exactly what the AI / tutorial tells you to do can often result in you running out of money and losing elections.
