    The main campaign was notably entertaining and fairly challenging, I played it on hard and while it wasn't the most punishing experience ever, I did see the continue screen quite a few times. While the enemy AI wasn't that great, they were aggressive, and it didn't felt to me that they rely on extremely long HP to increase the difficulty, which I appreciate a lot.

    What I wasn't    The main campaign was notably entertaining and fairly challenging, I played it on hard and while it wasn't the most punishing experience ever, I did see the continue screen quite a few times. While the enemy AI wasn't that great, they were aggressive, and it didn't felt to me that they rely on extremely long HP to increase the difficulty, which I appreciate a lot.

    What I wasn't expecting to find on its campaign was interesting lore with colorful and charming characters or at least some of them. In contrast with its universe, the presented story is pretty basic, yet serviceable, what you need to know is that you're a pilot on a mission, which is ok after all is an action-focused game so the story and lore are more like a complement to its gameplay. The main character is more or less in the same knowledge as you, so you'll get some exposition dialogue here and there to give you enough information to move along through the events unfolding.

    The main star of this show, however, is the gameplay, mobility on land is standard for an FPS but once you add double jumping, sliding, and wall running to the mix, it adds a lot of energy and dynamism to the combat. Weapon selection is nothing to write home about but the basics are covered, snipers, assault rifles, shotguns, etc. everything is covered so it wouldn’t be a problem for anyone to find the right one. The stages evolve through the chapter and have a lot of diversity, so you will be seeing different types of environments. The rhythm of the campaign is great, and even if it uses the same formula over each chapter: take this item, then kill some enemies, then go to point B and take down the boss, it never felt tiresome or repetitive, since you will be making puzzle solving and fighting titans in the mix you always have a sense of going forward. The cherry on top of the cake might be the boss battles. These fights are basically a showroom of what each Titan is capable of doing and in that regard, the main campaign can be also like a tutorial for the online mode which can be quite fierce, still, single-player mode holds quite good by itself.

    It's worth to note that it is a short campaign, it took me around 6 hours to beat it, so if you're looking to play this game for single player, you have to consider this, still, its adventure is for the most well packaged of everything, and it has some replayability in the form of collectibles but nothing special.

    Online mode however is where most of your time is going to be. Before entering a match you’ll be selecting your type of pilot and Titan, each with a customizable loadout of skills and weapons. In the beginning, you'll start with a few selections of everything but you can unlock more stuff when leveling up your base level. To unlock things more quickly you can use credits (the in-game's currency), these credits are obtainable by achieving goals in battles like winning, level up a weapon, have a good performance, etc. this is called the merit system and the better you play the more credits you get. You can also level up each weapon and Titans, to unlock better mods and skills. As for the aesthetic customization, I think it was disappointing, each type of pilot and Titan are different from each other but you are stuck with their default designs, you can unlock and purchase color skins, there are a lot of them but frankly they don't look that different, I am all out for aesthetic customization but here I didn't care since the result would not be that different, this didn't affect my gameplay experience of course, as it is a superficial matter, nonetheless as for a game as online-inclined as this, it would benefit with more customization freedom.

    Titanfall 2 comes with a wide range of modes, but given the time I played it, each mode seemed almost dead or the queues too long to wait, everything except Attrition. Attrition is the main and seemingly standard online mode on which 6 vs 6 players go into death-match, the purpose of this mode is to gather 650 points before the opposite team to win, it is frenetic, it is fantastic but it is also unforgiven to newcomers.

    I wasn’t expecting to enjoy Titanfall 2 this much, I don’t tend to play a lot of FPS or TPSs but it is rare for me to get hooked this much by one of them. If you’re looking for a single-player experience I think this game will cover you up for a few hours but most of them will be good, however, if you’re looking for a deep and lengthy experience you may pass on this one or get it on sale (which I think on the PSN store goes pretty regularly). On the other hand, if you’re looking for a great online multiplayer experience look no further, although its customization is limited or repetitive, you’ll have a blast still. Like a good action movie, Titanfall 2 delivers in what is required and excels at it, its clever mechanics and gameplay fluidity overshadows its shortcomings and makes for a well-wrapped and satisfying experience.    … Expand

    I grew up playing Nintendo games and never understood the violent FPS hype but when I got TF2 on sale one day when I upgraded my PC, I fell in love with this game. The story feels incredibly genuine. It's simple but you fall in brotherly love with your Titan immediately. The problem is that if the walls aren't correctly placed you will die, have to jump back to the first crane, adjust the position of the wall, jump back across, die because the wall placement is off again, die, go back to the first crane, adjust, repeat over and over and over with both cranes until you get it right. Just very amateur poor game design. Another part of the campaign I didn't like is the absence of new game plus, where in other games, if you wanted to replay the campaign all your skill tree perks, weapons and such were carried over into the new game, but not with this game, you have get the new Titans as you progress through the story as if you're playing for the first time. It would have made the re-play of the campaign so much more fun if you had the Legion Titan, which is not only the best Titan but the most fun one to play to be available in chapter 1. Lastly, as expected with average games, the highest difficulty is nothing but cheap deaths. Just lower your health bar and that suffices for a fun hard mode. The sliding and wall running is fun and fast. The levels are fun, they're all different than the previous ones with a few of them changing up how you progress through the level such as time travel which turns the level into a sort of puzzle on how to proceed and avoid dying. The sci-fi aspect of the levels can be really cool at times. The new Titans that you get as you progress are fun, but nothing hugely different or creative.

    The multiplayer part is ok, not really all that good. The amount of players who still play is low that all you get is deathmatch on all of two levels, one of which is the same map from the first Titanfall so currently Titanfall 2's multiplayer has only one mode and two maps.

    So overall, please don't trust the highly rated reviews, Titanfall 2 is a fun sci-fi shooter that's incredibly average across the board. I'll play Titanfall 3 if it comes out though.    … Expand

This game is so much better than the original one, they finally add a campaign mode, although the story sucks, but the game multiplayer is pretty much improved in every way. The combat are amazing and there are a lot more content, game mode,.. than the original, but the graphics still a weak point

    Hands down, this is the best game of 2016 and it deserved game of the year awards instead of trash Overwatch. Titanfall 2 is criminally underrated game, and it is superior than it's counterparts in every way. Much better gameplay and game direction than CoD Infinite warfare, Battlefield 1, and trash Overwatch.
    Story is really great, it was enough to make any tough person cry.

    The game has amazing fast paced gameplay with parkour mechanics and freedom of movement. It doesn't force the players to go after killstreak because all Titans have a same timer. If it was a call of duty game, you would need 25 killstreak to call Titan, and Titan would be usable for 30 seconds.
    Titanfall is what CoD Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3 multiplayer tried to do but failed miserably.

    From the cheesy but brilliantly constructed single player to its vibrant and action packed multiplayer, Titanfall 2 is an amazing step forward from its predecessor, and is one of the better shooters to come out in resent years.

    Beautiful game, great campaign, fun multiplayer, great community. Only complaints I have is the occasional spitfire camper and the fact it's no longer being updated but at least we're still getting story from apex legends. Gameplay is fast and fluid and is just so fun.

    It's campaign, though definitely on the short side, showcases some excellent level design. I was happy with the balance of pilot combat sections, platforming, and titan fights. It's a really fun campaign with a number of cool, memorable moments. The time travel level in particular was brilliant, and although part of me wishes the mechanics introduced in that level were kept for the duration of the campaign, reserving them to just the one mission made it a very special one indeed - that level brought the fun factor to a new high. The mechanics are very similar to those from the séance level from Dishonored 2 and they made both gunfights and platforming even more enjoyable. The campaign is brief but action packed and it doesn't have a dull moment.

    The actual story is wafer thin though and the writing is quite bland. The plot and characters are uninspired and uninteresting. Your titan companion, BT, is likeable but that's about it. I was expecting a bit more in the narrative department, especially after the introduction of time travel, but unfortunately it ends up having no bearing on the plot at all.

    As for the multiplayer side of things, I have to say that it's pace and fluidity is unmatched by most other online FPS games. It's not revolutionary, and really it's mostly standard fare for games of its ilk, but it's undeniably good fun. The ability to call down and control your titan is perhaps the series most unique aspect and it does add more variety to gunfights. There's a decent number of maps and game modes, and you can still easily find a match without an excessive wait. There's some good verticality in the maps which is easily utilised thanks to the pilot's jump kit.

    Overall, Titanfall 2 is a good game with a fair amount of content when considering both the campaign and the multiplayer. It's also not too difficult or time consuming to get the platinum trophy for those that are interested in that. I enjoyed my time with the game and I'd still easily recommend the campaign despite the weak story, and the multiplayer is worth a go too.    … Expand

    Throughly enjoyed the SP campaign. Plays smoothly, looks great and the action never lets up. Better than Doom 2016 IMHO, and much more varied gameplay wise.

    Gran juego, que me sorprendió bastante, un muy buen shooter futurista que combina el combate a pie y el combate con robots, además de distintas habilidades como ir por paredes, saltos gravitacionales...
    Por ponerle alguna pega, se hace un poco corto, un juego que no aburre en ningún momento.

The production values are excellent with good graphics, sound and acting. Moving around the world feels great and the shooting is meaty and satisfying. The story doesn’t have anything you’ve not seen before but it is well-delivered and doesn’t get in the way of the fun.

    They also do a great job of switching things up. One minute you’re wall running and shooting at little soldier guys and the next you’re piloting a giant sentient robot storming a base defended by other behemoths. The highlight for me though was the section with the time travel mechanic, that was brilliantly done and I would love to play a game that’s completely focused on that mechanic. If nothing else play the game for that section alone it is truly something wonderfully different.

    *I don't care about multiplayer so I can't tell you if that is any good or not.    … Expand

    Now the bad, most pilot clases are bad, in my opinion theres only two good clases but those two clases are great and fell very perfected. I strongly encourage you to buy this game    I absolutely love it, movement is great the shooting feels awsome and the titans feel great to use. The single player campain is one of my favorites if not my favorite altough its very short (around 6 hours).

    The most underrated fps shooter game out there. Still the graphics are amazing on my ps4 pro HDR Sony bravia 4k TV. It plays on 60 fps very smooth gameplay also it has decent campaign with interesting story, the multiplayer is where it shines a variety of modes maps and loadouts to customise the titan and pilot. Today the price of this game is a totally steal I bought it for 6 eurosThe most underrated fps shooter game out there. Still the graphics are amazing on my ps4 pro HDR Sony bravia 4k TV.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Is just my favorite Shooter. I can play the Kampagne again and again, without get bored. The World is beautiful, and the relationship between Cooper and BT is just great. But i prefer to play the pilot. The Shooting are realistic and how you can move with the Pilot all over is just the best. i love this game, an i really hope there will be a Titanfall 3… Expand

The gameplay is outstanding and so much fun! I love the mixture of agile wall running and jumping pilot gameplay mixed with the lumbering heavy firepower of the mechs. The campaign is short but really well crafted and has a great storyI got this game for free on PS plus months ago and never really paid it much attention until recently and what a mistake that was! This is such a good game! The gameplay is outstanding and so much fun! I love the mixture of agile wall running and jumping pilot gameplay mixed with the lumbering heavy firepower of the mechs.     *Single Player Campaign Only* Despite the short campaign length, Respawn was able to pack a large variety into the gameplay and level design of Titanfall 2. Playing the pilot and titan sections feels different yet both are extremely fluid. One of the best FPS games of the generation.

    Game was amazing.There were little problems that i can ignore. Every game has some problems but this one's is ignoreable thanks to it's combat system.It was fluent and fun to play.Graphics were amazing.But it was the ''time travel thing'' that attached me to this game. I absolutely recommend everyone to play. As rare as it is,it was not a game it was an experience.

    Thats is one of the best FPS games that i ever played.The campaing is very good the story and gameplay are perfect and of course BT his quotes and his charisma.The multiplayer is super cool but with high entry threshold but when ull get comfortable in this multiplayer and learn the mechanics of this ull dont come off of the multiplayer.

    I don't know what happened, i love this game but hadn't played it in a while due to being busy but decided i wanted to play it again however when i came back it was unplayable whenever i get into a match, my cursor is still active. so when i'm trying to play it shunts me to my secondary screen

    This game offers everything you need to have a great time. Simple plot, dynamic action packed gameplay, nice graphics.
    It`s story is not the most original, and it`s narrative is not the most sophisticated, but it just delivers the excitement and pure joy of shooting, running, operating a titan, exploding stuff, and acting crazy.
    I had a lot of fun playing it.

    Campaign:
    If you're looking for a long, story and lore rich experience, it may not be for you. There is a very basic 'stop the bad guys' plot and some lore outside of the game but nothing special.
    What I can say is that the way the levels are designed makes them very unique and fun. Each level is great and has a different gimmick or style which means every second is spent having fun.


    Multiplayer:
    Where do I start? The multiplayer is brilliant. You may see a lot of people say it is cod v2 with mechs but it's way more than that. This game has a very good movement system allowing you do do things that are impossible in cod. A few maps too play very differently than if they were in cod. Where in call of duty you would be stuck to the ground, titanfall shifts that to the rooftops. This stuff just takes time to learn which is good as it gives people a way to always improve. I also see people complaining about there being no skill based but I see this as a positive. While it is annoying to be beaten by veterans, new players should use this as an opportunity to watch what they do and how they play, and apply that to their playstyle. Everyone was a noob once. Another positive is that a lot of the veteran players are actually nice. Unlike cod and halo, the veteran and comp players are all welcoming and generally are happy to help teach new players tips and tricks and include them into the community. (don't confuse them with the campers who are quite toxic though) Negatives: I will be giving some general negatives of the game, but don't let these drive you away from this game... The mp progression shows how long you have been playing, not how good you are. I'm g34 and am better than most Max players on my servers (gen 100)

    The net code is a bit iffy. You will experience a few times where that last bullet will clip you even though you were behind the corner, although it isn't hideously broken.

    Some guns in multiplayer are absolutely broken, and the multiplayer has no real direction. Console is dominated by people who camp with the spitfire and g2, which really just shows the impact that cod has on the shooter industry. Another boost in the game is the smart pistol. This little demon is aimbot...put simply. Just look at the enemy and it locks onto the target for guaranteed headshots.     Unlike al other fps shooters at the time and even now in 2020 it is still the most enjoyable shooter I have played. The campaign/story mode is really well made and the design of the levels work perfectly hand to hand with the movement of the game and the multiplayer mode also has a design that's fast and never bores you by making you stand still.     This game was a surprised to me because I've never played Titanfall before and typically it is the kind of game that I do not enjoy, just from the aesthetic and concept. Not a big fan of military first person shooter. Fortunately, it was so much better than I expected and it was not so difficult to get into the gameplay for a 1st person noob like me.     This review is only for the single player campaign, which is all I’ve played. It’s a fun, interesting, exhilarating story that has good variety in the missions and good character development which sneaks up on you at the end. The guns feel great, and playing as a Titan feels weighty and powerful, as it should.

    The best fps I have ever played. It has an incredibly high skill ceiling and one of the most unique and best movement systems in any fps ever. It plenty different tacticals and weapons that you can choose from. You can also choose different loadout options for your titan as well. This game also has amazing short and fun campaign that teaches you the basics of the game. I highly recommendThe best fps I have ever played.     It is a really great game. You can feel shooting, has a lot of different guns that make the game spectacular. The integration between Titan and the pilot is awesome. It is not a long history but was so fun play this one. I recommend.

    Much better than cod iw, sad this game didn’t do as well because of poor marketing! Loved the time travelling mission, pretty generic storyline but a solid game. Hope a sequel comes along

    The multiplayer is quite awesome too. I love the attrition mode, as this is a kind of Team Deathmatch, but that avoid camping, as if you don't move and roam, you leave the enemy get all the points by farming CPU soldiers, which the frags will give points too.
    Almost the only mode I've played for hundred of hours, both on PC and PS4, so I'll cannot give my opinion on other modes, but this one is really amazing, and just that makes me give it a legit 9.
    I hope this PvPvE TDM idea without objective is used in other shooting game taking place in different space time, this idea is not the most original, but has never been seen before as far as I know.

    The gameplay itself is fast, you can have a grapple, you can wall ride, double jump, this gives a very fast pace.
    The feeling at shooting, roaming, is very amazing. The titan fights become more tactic.

    At the time I'm talking, the game looks still very alive. Reinstalled it today to give it a new shot, after a long break, and I've played 10 games in a row without more than 10 seconds of queue everytime.

    The is no micro transaction, no pay to win, everything is unlockable in game and quite fast.

    The only con I would give is not dued to Respawn (the studio), but I feel mouse/keyboard players will clearly have an advantage on controller players, which can be annoying when you meet some on PS4.    … Expand

    here is everything good about the game:
    + this game is unique in it's game play in every single point whether it be the fast movement of the pilots + or the sheer size and strength of the titans
    + not a single micro transaction in sight in and or loot box for weapons, upgrades or even skins
    + everything is just a no **** policy when it comes to monetizing the game, you want a skin? then pay + for it with money or buy it by playing the game and earn credits.
    + the story is cliche' but very impactful on the player ( why did you sacrifice yourself BT ;_;)
    + the map design and game modes are well thought out at the very least and invoke a feeling of joy from + discovering a new way to traverse the maps.
    + each pilot design and titan are designed in a way to make you powerful at certain aspects but have + weaknesses in other
    it has an insanely high skill ceiling but is fairly welcoming to new players
    the cons:
    some extremely minor stuttering on windows 10
    some weapons are somewhat imbalanced

    honestly this game is so fun and i can see this game having an extremely good Esports scene and i am shocked it hasn't gotten it.
    the only reason people give this game bad reviews are either stupid that do not know anything about the game or people who are keeping the score low enough so that it won't leave every other game in the dust    … Expand

It's a good game but not worthy of a score of at least 8/10, the minimum rating value I consider to be must play. First off this game is pretty much a complication of other games without its own identity. I call this sellout or cliche as I consider myself a hardcore gamer. Let me break it down.....No, EA I don't like mirrors edge and never will so give up your fascination with parkour and stop cramming it. Next, let's have a talk about mechs. Fans of mech games want some but this is a niche gaming area. Fans of Transformers and little kids will love the addition of more mech but within this game he mech controls were pretty boring and watered down. IMO this game sold out imitating Transformers but with lesser gameplay. I found the mech action very mundane and throughout the conversations between mech and player were nothing more than trying to allure you to memories of how fun the Transformers series was and the developers rode that concept hard. Speaking of mech gameplay load outs...too many and with no reward of finding them. They are just right where you need them so why not include them right at the start of the game? On to gunplay, not bad. I didn't mind the responsiveness of the controls and the visuals were fair enough. Enemies AI didn't seem very bright but I honestly didn't test them out on higher difficulty as I just didn't enjoy this game enough to bother. All said this game was ok. It was quick, the game is cheap and it is relatively fun none the less. My wish is game developers stop canabalizing their market by recycling their games and concepts and try for more original games again. A game made for everyone is a game made for no one. And that explains why despite this being a decently liked game it's now $5, I would like to say if you are a casual gamer on a budget this game is a fantastic choice it does have some variety, is inexpensive and no real software bug headaches to work through.… Expand

    This game was not good when it first came out, the reason wasn't the game is bad, because origin is a garbage platform that almost no one plays on it. However, now Titanfall 2 is now back on steam, and i can finally enjoy the multiplayer. For the campaign, i will give 9/10, if it can be longer (but the story itself is already really good), The best FPS i have played recent years, Good job.

The stealth mechanic made the game too easy but only while you use it, and it have 1 minute cooldown, so it is basically a one minute cooldown auto kill which is very fun and balance. I died a lot of times, a lot more deaths than I would want but that just showing you that the game isn't only easy, there were frustrating moments. I don't want to spoil the story so I won't go into details but the story was so good that I was moved to write a review, it is that good. I see the passion and care that the developers have for this game, and it successfully pulled me into the universe they created. This game is cheap the prize I had to pay is nearly nothing for a game with these graphics, Now that I finished the game I could play a bit with the multiplayer which is excellent. PC has plenty of that too but with the recent release on Steam, there's plenty of fresh blood so you should be fine there. While I don't like giving out scores of 10, I feel in the context of the game it earned it. The game went out with a plan of what it wanted to do and it hit every note perfectly and went beyond that.    … Expand

    Muy buen juego , historia muy pero muy entretenida, la forma de manejar a los titanes y pelear contra otros es impresionante. Muy buena la forma de tener distintas armas para usar con los titanes.
    Lo único malo que puedo decir es que la historia es muy pero muy corta, en una tarde te terminas el juego.     Thoroughly enjoyable, slick, fast paced shooter.
    It is as underrated as people say it is.
    An unfortunate victim of poor release window timing, but you can pick it up dirt cheap now.
    Its really well written, looks great and is just a hell of a lot of fun.

    One of the best if not the best FPS game ever!

    The game plays really well! Really smooth and fast gameplay and the fluidity is on a whole new level compared to most other FPS games.
    Well optimized. Barely any bugs or glitches!
    The campaign is really amazing!

    Overall, pretty much everything about the game is perfect!

    Outstanding campaign, with unmatched quality of gameplay, a fast, yet balanced and fun multiplayer. This is THE Sci-Fi Shooter and it's a damn shame it got so undersold.

    This game deserved better, easily one of the best shooters that came out the whole generation.

This game also has a decent dlc model where any non cosmetic dlc is free. Now for the negatives, this game crashes quite a bit, it’s not too often but it is annoying.… Expand

With its epicly fast paced combat, good range of different weapons and ordenance and with the newly improved Titans...the game is incredible. Back in 2016, me and my mates literally said f*** Call of Duty because this was simply better. More fun. Unique. Such a shame that theI know I'm posting this in 2020, but I was a player at launch and this game to this day never fails to please me. This game never got the amazing reception it deserves. Today, only around 1,000 players play the game. It really makes me sad to see the game that bested Call of Duty in every way back then, was overshadowed by its bigger brother Battlefield. Because both are published by EA. But if you havent played this yet, just do it already. (Also I played on Xbox One, but reviewing on the Playstation 4 page because it has the highest score for whatever reason).… Expand

    It was very nice to became involved with this story. Its powerful, very direct like and maked you involved in a odd relationship between a pilot and a full metal bodyguard. Well done for Respawn Entertainment

    I'm only reviewing the campaign. I liked it a lot. The chemistry between Cooper and BT was amazing. Very fun gameplay. Story was good enough. There is tons of good ideas in this game. Solid 8/10.

But after comparing my personal experiences with what people have said about the game, it's unnerving how overtly fanatic the fanbase is regarding the game. Clicking on the usernames and finding Titanfall as their only review doesn't make the situation any better.     Now Titanfall 2 storyline isn’t deep. Honestly if it wasn’t for your Titan being as I put it a snarky Vulcan then the game's dialog wouldn’t even be that interesting. You play as Cooper a grunt who very early on becomes a Titan pilot because these group of mercenaries working for the **** Empire (I forget what they villians are called it is basically Empire and Rebels) killed off your entire unit. The first half of the game you and your Titan are surviving and the second half you are fighting back. The overall plot honestly is like a Star Wars film where the Imperials get this weapon that can destroy planets, and you and the Rebels are going to stop them. Instead of a Vader it’s like if Boba Fett and the other bounty hunters were your main antagonist. Speaking of the mercenaries; while fairly generic they were some of the most interesting characters in the game… then again there weren’t many present honestly. The game is only 5-6 hours long with no real replay value which hurts it a lot for me. The story will be largely forgettable even with a bit of feels towards the end it is nothing to write home about.

    What is something to write home about is the gameplay. The game plays well like if Doom, Call of Duty, and Armor Core all had some sick threesome and this would be their unholy offspring. That might paint it in a bad light, but **** this game is fun to play. The game if fast pace, with interesting different weapons. The movement with the jumping from wall to wall adds interesting jumping puzzles and combat. Weapons that make enemies blow up into a paste make me as giddy as a schoolgirl. That’s just the ground combat fighting in a Titan is extremely satisfying and more fun than it has any right to be. The boss fights are all different with adding a different layer of challenge to them. The game is very cinematic fitting to West and Zampella’s style of games they created in the past. All this saves their meh story and makes it a popcorn game if such a thing exist. The game looks good worthy of next gen, but nothing that make my socks leave my feet in a blowing motion. The voice acting is well this game is acted like a B movie except that damn Titan. They give that Titan funny lines, but also the most emotional ones in the game I loved that **** thing.

    Overall if you never played the first one or even hated the first Titanfall I would still recommend that you give this a rental. For years people have been asking for more mech games; well now you have it so check it out at the very least. I give this game a solid 3.5/5 it was a fun experience that is well worth getting at a bargain rate. Unless you’re super into the multiplayer there is no real reason to play this game more than once.     I bought this for 4.99 before it becoming free on PSN, a few months back, no complaints though. Well worth the 4.99 for the 7ish hours I got out of the story. Such a nice little story in such a short time. Didn't bother with multiplayer, not big on the mode in general.

    Titanfall 2 was great surprise! I didn't expected that Titanfall 2 was a great game (if compared with the first one). Well, Titanfall 2 do the right thing .... shows up a great storytelling plus fast paced gameplay and enjoyable multiplayer.

    In fact I got it on plan subscription and played unpretentiously ....
    Great and fun game!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. EA decision to release it between COD and BF1 release date was a big sin for them. They must atone for it. I never feel addictive with FPS games before. Titanfall 2 offered fun, fast, unique gameplay. From singleplayer gameplay standpoint Respawn gave us good story (eventhough without plot twist, but it's okay). Some scene in this story is really intense and dramatic, BT 7274 has great character development better than its main character. 2-4 hours of story maybe short but it's great hours for you to spend in it. Ending is still cliffhanger and maybe we will see Titanfall 3. Let's hope EA doesn't repeat their sin in the future.
    Next is multiplayer gameplay, they have variety of multiplayer mode but with most player is artrition and frontier defense. Artrition offers fun gameplay, your team must get score higher than your opponent by killing oppenent's player and NPC. NPC is Respawn's great decision for making this mode more exciting. Frontier defense is like, when you tired of losing or dying in artrition, you can try this mode. Protect thing like tower from wave of enemy like titan, small robot, soldier, etc with your team. Communication is really key in this mode, so make sure to play it with your friend because it will be so diffciult if you play it with stranger in hard mode.

    Because EA decision (again i write it) other mode has no active player, so I could not try it. But you can try it with your friend.

    Conclusion, I reccomend this game for you. BTW, why I can't rate it 11/10, because this game is really awesome.    … Expand

    The story is good but a little stereotypical.After all it's a war game.Although the bond between the main character and the Titan is something special and through the dialogues they are having, this special bond is visible in the game.
    The level design of this game is just Incredible.Even when the game puts you in places where lots of things are happening and you dont know where to go you decide to follow a path and then it turns out to be the only way out ,giving you the illusion of freedom.The addition of the ghost runner in the parkour sequences wasn't that helpful to me because the path you had to follow was clear and easily accessible. But the absence of the ghost runner would have been a pain for those who have a bad time figuring out where they have to go.
    Titanfall 2 was good but it had some annoying bugs and the campaign was a little short. As i have already mentioned the story wasn't that great and i think it could be better.Clearly the developers emphasized the gameplay and the graphics in contrast with the story.
    Overall the game is visually beautiful and the variety of environments combined with the amazing music and the above characteristics make this game a great accomplishment for Respawn Entertainment.    … Expand

The campaign is enjoyable despite a few empty « A to B » moments. It made me think of Infinite Warfare but better in some ways. More generally, the movements of both the solider and the titans feel super smooth and neat. I think I’ve rarely seen a FPS with such perfect movement and gun firing mechanics. They feel very fluid and graphically it’s beautiful.

    We thus have a very good gameplay that didn’t get boring supported by graphics that are on par. Regarding the multiplayer, all I said applies as well. I think the content is maybe a bit light as opposed to the competition, but it is enjoyable and brings a new dimension thanks to the Titans.

    I also want to emphasize on the fact that from what I’ve played, not a single weapon feels useless. I think there is a very good balancing in this game and every weapon has some advantage that the others don’t. This makes the game less repetitive as you’re encline to play all the content. In CoD, it is recurrent to see 5 weapons that almost feel the same.

    The same is true for the Titan loadouts. I haven’t played them all in multiplayer, but regarding the campaign, I’ve felt usefulness for each of them.

    Great game! Probably one of the best FPS I’ve played in terms of quality. It just needs more content to be perfect.    … Expand

    I played the game, and liked it more than I expected (it was a PS Plus free game for me). I played it on easy (as I'm a casual gamer), and found it mostly quite doable. Having said that, there were a few spots where the difficulty suddenly spiked quite a lot (a specific Titan whose name starts with a V comes to mind...). But in the end, I was still able to finish the game. I liked theI played the game, and liked it more than I expected (it was a PS Plus free game for me).     Titanfall 2 is a masterfully crafted game with so much love put into it that its a shame it didn't get played enough. The movement is flawless. The weapons are fine to so much fun. The titans are amazing. It's such a shame it didn't get that much love versus battlefield V and the other COD game that got **** out that year.
