    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i saw a metric f#@k ton of people saying this game is worth playing and due to it being now on steam and on sale i decided to pick it up and... i now need to deal with a growing addiction.
    here is everything good about the game:
    + this game is unique in it's game play in every single point whether it be the fast movement of the pilots + or the sheer size and strength of the titans
    + not a single micro transaction in sight in and or loot box for weapons, upgrades or even skins
    + everything is just a no **** policy when it comes to monetizing the game, you want a skin? then pay + for it with money or buy it by playing the game and earn credits.
    + the story is cliche' but very impactful on the player ( why did you sacrifice yourself BT ;_;)
    + the map design and game modes are well thought out at the very least and invoke a feeling of joy from + discovering a new way to traverse the maps.
    + each pilot design and titan are designed in a way to make you powerful at certain aspects but have + weaknesses in other
    it has an insanely high skill ceiling but is fairly welcoming to new players
    the cons:
    some extremely minor stuttering on windows 10
    some weapons are somewhat imbalanced

    honestly this game is so fun and i can see this game having an extremely good Esports scene and i am shocked it hasn't gotten it.
    the only reason people give this game bad reviews are either stupid that do not know anything about the game or people who are keeping the score low enough so that it won't leave every other game in the dust    … Expand

    It's great Titanfall 2 has a campaign, but is that what we are settling for in today's market? Shouldn't a great campaign be mandatory for any "AAA" title? While I haven't completed the campaign, I can say its definitely an improvement over the last AAA title I pre-ordered (Halo 5). Respawn negated the players ability to customize the Titan chassis and its weaponry and the players avatar is linked to his special ability. while there are minor improvements, It's still difficult to determine who is the enemy versus who is on your team in the various multiplayer modes

    Great campaing, but i'm begginig to feel that games are pretty much generic righ now, plus Sci fi stuff doesn't work for some of us people, i'm tired of seeing star wars stuff over and over, but got to say is way much better than call of duty

    No split screen. Terrible campaign mode where you play the role of a cod style nobody. Micro transactions. It's basically a online only/multiplayer only game. The only good thing about the game is it's visuals and it's sometimes fun game play. It has a weak amount of content and it's added single player isn't exactly a deal maker since you will play it only once or twice and then NEVERNo split screen. Terrible campaign mode where you play the role of a cod style nobody. Micro transactions. It's basically a online only/multiplayer only game. The only good thing about the game is it's visuals and it's sometimes fun game play. It has a weak amount of content and it's added single player isn't exactly a deal maker since you will play it only once or twice and then NEVER replay it again.

    No coop survival or campaign modes either. The game is a joke for the most part. Just another forgettable EA title from ex cod developers... Seriously guys... That's right. COD DEVELOPERS! EA! Did you really think this would be a good/great shooter that would rival the likes of halo ce, half life, or perfect dark 64??? Please... It's mediocre at best. The kind of game people drop in less than a week. Maybe a month for the feeble minded who have bad taste in shooters and can't tell when their into a rather weak video game. It's just cod with robots and matrix want-to-be wall running that looks really stupid. It might be worth a rental or a purchase at about 10-20 bucks and even that's a stretch.    … Expand

    I have a few hundred hours into Titanfall 1 so I'm a little biased towards TF.

    The Good: The graphics are great Sound is also great Matchmaking feels better by about 15% If you buy through Origin you can return it The Bad: The game is much slower, you have to chain jumps and slides together BUT.. The maps are horrible and not conducive to chaining jumps and slides Therefore the    I have a few hundred hours into Titanfall 1 so I'm a little biased towards TF.

    The Good:
    The graphics are great
    Sound is also great
    Matchmaking feels better by about 15%
    If you buy through Origin you can return it
    The Bad:
    The game is much slower, you have to chain jumps and slides together BUT..
    The maps are horrible and not conducive to chaining jumps and slides
    Therefore the game feels very slow
    You can't customize your titans
    You can only carry 2 guns, a primary and a secondary and a primary or a titan weapon... ridiculous

    Titanfall II is one of the worst games ever, the wall runs are so annoyingly precise it takes 30 minutes to do them sometimes, the one where you are trying to board the Marthas bridge I have spent 1 hour on cannot make it. No changes in set up make it easier. As pilot regular mode is super easy apart from the wall running. Game now in trash.

    this game is nothing more than call of duty with giant robots. I know that that sounds silly but its true. The game is nothing more than call of duty with mecha. Hitscan weapons, low time to kill, and no teamwork. however its the best call of duty since modern warfare. On the the pc however you can do far better than call of duty for far less than the asking price of 60 dollars. The gamethis game is nothing more than call of duty with giant robots. The mechs, or "titans," aren't very memorable, and are merely an extension of the non-titan combat. They add very little to the hectic, overworked and convoluted gameplay.

    Worthless tacked on campaign, it's boring, lifeless and incredibly repetitive. Multiplayer is painfully similar to Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, they've even made mechs far weaker and the pilots movement slower and more clunky meaning it feels far more like CoD than the first game did.

    Waste of money and an absolute regret buying this.

    Short Storyline gameplay. It was fun but not worth $40; let along $90. If you're not hacking, you are fighting hackers everywhere in Multiplayer. The rate at which people hit you in the head and you can clearly see them firing from the hip. One player actually headshot me while sliding down a ramp shooting from his hip. I played 1 match in Titanfall 2 and I already want my money back.

    Titanfall 2 (TF2) is not the improved sequel we Titanfall fans were hoping for. They mated TF with Modern Warfare and created a disappointing game experience. We wanted more customization options. It less! The maps are uninspired and convoluted they geared the game for players with weak hand eye coordination. They destroyed some of the best and most fun interfacing with the titans. PilotsTitanfall 2 (TF2) is not the improved sequel we Titanfall fans were hoping for. They mated TF with Modern Warfare and created a disappointing game experience. We wanted more customization options. It less! The maps are uninspired and convoluted they geared the game for players with weak hand eye coordination. They destroyed some of the best and most fun interfacing with the titans. Pilots are too weak and you die to easily, so are the titans. They made the NPC's super lethal!!!! They force you to choose titan classes and they have embedded attributes that cannot change. They for some reason got rid of the rodeo and replaced it with a disappointing experience snatching batteries and dropping grenades. Why would they get rid of titan shields? Also now when your doomed you don't have a timer going off giving players the appearance of a second wind when in reality a titan can execute you immediately or anti titan weapons will immediately kill you. You can now shoot from cloaking and immediately return to cloak as long as timer doesn't run out. Which only means they are catering to new players. They got rid of tertiary weapons!!!!! Which means you have to choose between either carrying a secondary weapon or a anti titan weapon!!!!!! What the hell!!!! Choosing between a secondary weapon and anti titan weapon is like asking which leg do I use the least! Sticking to walls is now a ability that needs to be unlocked, absolutely ruining the parkour experience! Ammo and grenades are infinite which remove the tactical criticality of having limited resources!!!!! They brought back the cursed smart pistol what the f@&$$! They made the XO9 titan machine gun less accurate! Some pilot classes look outright stupid. Yes they gave a campaign with cool features no spoilers, but they gutted the heart and soil from the original. I was platinum 3 once upon a time. In conclusion I like to liken this sequel to a basketball analogy: you ever play a game and there is a guy who gets the ball and just does too much with it and when it's time to score he chokes. Well that is TF2. I wanted to like it, I was predisposed to like it and I just can't it's an alien game. The developers catered too much to the noobs!!!! The graphics are the same or worse than TF. It takes to long to recover from damage. All they needed to do was give us TF experience back more maps, weapons, and a storyline and it would of been out the park!!! Instead they delivered a stillborn. No way does the remaining TF community will be satisfied with this offspring!.… Expand

    this game makes no sense. all it ever dose is crash than crash than crash than crash again. It has like no titans for online but hundreds that you want to be from then campaign but you can not use. overall, this game is crap and no one should play it.

    The game was fun. I would have liked to have seen a greater variety of weapons, upgrade-able abilities, more things to figure out and find, but I truly did enjoy it. In exchange for those short comings it offers a greater percentage of action time.

    It's not playable for me. Matchmaking is upwards of 5 minutes, multiplayer disconnects from the server and you really can't do anything of substance.

    Campaign was okay... I suppose. Clearly their cash cow is Apex.

    I don't know what happened, i love this game but hadn't played it in a while due to being busy but decided i wanted to play it again however when i came back it was unplayable whenever i get into a match, my cursor is still active. so when i'm trying to play it shunts me to my secondary screen

    And the famous wall running mechanic? No thanks, caused more problems with camera, aiming and platforming than I could ever think of. Even small things like ledges could get insanely frustrating. And obviously, the story was absolute trash, felt like a low budget transformers movie.

    The level with the time rewing/manufactury was cool though. Until you get to the top.    … Expand

    As i'm writing this, my PS4 is turned on with this game on, with my character freezed on a multyplayer mach. Players constantly join and are kicked out again, i can hear the grunts shooting at nothing as my site is floating arround the camera. I only wonder how much lonleny and to haved failed on life you must be to resort to this **** in order to gain any sort of meaning or feel any forfilment. DON'T BE FOOLED! Titanfall 2 is one of the only games that I would give a 4.5/5 and is on my top 3 of all time. The lack of runtime of the campaing is made up for its sheer amount of polish and quality content. The movement sistem is perfect, and other than a few ludricus balance decisions on the multyplayer (just Tone for most of the time) the game is the perfect pacage in every way. The bellow human scum (that is just one guy by the way) is purpousefully stoping the attacks in critical moments when respawn is adressing the situation in order to create an ilussiont that we are whining about nothing and all of this is just temporary. DON'T FALL FOR IT! Every single time, the moment respawn leaves the stage, the attacks come back, and everything remais the same. As a poor and insignificant member of the titanfall community, the only thing I can do is finish writing this and hope that someone who is reading it is able to take matters to his/hers own hands and prey that everything regarding this series goes back to the state it was before. As of now I can only ask of you to NOT BUY this game for FULL PRIECE. Not for the multiplayer at least. And I can only help but wonder, how things have gottent this far?… Expand

    Fantastic gameplay and a great story. I enjoyed it so much, this is the only game i have 100% completed.

    Far from the footnote it could have been, Titanfall 2 is a huge, headline shock. In a standout year for the shooter, this interstellar adventure dares to go big and beyond the familiar. What it finds out on the frontier is worth seeing. [January 2016, p74]
