    The Witcher 3 is the best game on the market .Camera is fine if you used to playing on console.
    Game is hard but fair. If you want a mature story and hard moral choices this is game for you.

    This will go down as one of the best rpg's ever created. It's mind blowing in scope and quality and very refreshing. This is a harsh, realistic and brutal world. Perfection is this game.

Many times during gameplay I just stop to admire the landscapes. Gameplay wise everything works smoothly, in fact Ive had some issues with too sensitive camera while starting the game but changed the custom controller camera set up here (fixed the sticks sensitivity to 0.80-0.85) and since then everything have been working perfect. I would recommend to do it for anyone having problems with "weird" camera in the game, should help a lot. This game never feels boring, the world is full of quests and places to discover, you will not find the dull side quests from Dragon Age. Overall this is a superb game which should keep you entertained for 100+ hrs. Great job CDP Red! 10/10… Expand

Everybody has been hyped for a good reason - it really is that great.     Best PS4 game I have played. Fantastic storyline, great graphics, fun gameplay, HUGE environment. There are tons of things to do besides the main storyline like sidequests, contracts, each with their own interesting, fun stories. You certainly can feel that the world around you is alive.

    Yes there is some lag and yes it takes time to get use to the camera but it is a amazing experience and definitely worth the hype, i have put already 30 hours in and dont regret it. I also pre-ordered the collectors edition so i got a few bonuses but its worth your money and believe it deserves a game of the year. ( My opinion)

    For all pessimists: this is not Dragon Age or glitched, easy Skyrim. This is a mature game with a great story, based on a rich, wonderful prose of Andrzej Sapkowski (highly recommended). Huge world, artwork, dialogues is a masterpiece. The game is not easy but people forget such productions as Fallout 1, 2, Baldur's Gate, in Europe Gothic 1, 2. Great game. Good job CDP Red.     Great game! I wish it had Russian Voice over and text on Ps4 too as it does on PC. Huge Open world game. Haven't left starting area yet! wish they allowed some sort of material or items just to make cash most of junk I re-polish into materials. Kind of sad because I have to go to work tomorrow.. Can't stop playing the game:)

    So what can i say about Witcher 3? Just great game, must buy and must play. I fall in love in this universum, star reading books thanks do Witcher 1 7years ago(i think), then got great time in Witcher 2 and Witcher 3 is great ending for this trilogy :)

    all about the game has been told so far in countless reviews, so ill just point these subtle things that make it much better than dragon-age-inquisition-like games :
    -customizable hud - you want to fully sink into the world, why not disabling a map and instead start asking for directions around, same goes with inventory, hints etc - huge plus for that
    -no more dull 'get 10 shards' side    all about the game has been told so far in countless reviews, so ill just point these subtle things that make it much better than dragon-age-inquisition-like games :

    -no more dull 'get 10 shards' side quest - right now a side quest is a non-forced little story that makes this game even more 'real' and you will quickly find out that nothing is black or white :)
    -no more saving the world hurr durr - Geralt is a monster-hunter, not a prophet, world saver or some other nonsense - the main quest is personal, remember The last of us ?
    -reality - you cant jump off the cliff with a horse ;))), you jump off from ~7meters as Geralt = youre dead, doesnt matter how much health you have
    -fighting ! its somehow similiar to shadow of mordor, yet a little bit less responsive, but requires a skill and tactical approach (as every enemy fights in other manner)
    -medieval lenguage (at least in my lenguage version) - its A M A I Z I N G while it comes to building an atmosphere
    -truly dark fantasy vibe - if you find a thief, he'll get hanged on a tree - no merciful 2nd chance **** like in other rpgs
    -the world is huge and full of things to explore

    the only con i have found is that you cannot attack civilians/nonhostiles - and sometimes they are pretty disrespectful during the conversation - a punch in the face would be a great use here, and would fit the storytelling perfectly but you cannot do it :(    … Expand

It looks stunning and the storm, oh my god, the storm in this game is effin amizing, just can't describe it. Ofc we can argue about texture and lightning quality in some places, but with game of that scope it is impossible for it to be 100% perfect.

    I 100% recommend You this game. If You are a gamer and especially a RPG fan, You just CAN NOT MISS THAT TITLE.

    To CD Projekt RED, You have done outstanding job, this is a worthy conclusion of Geralt story, salute. I bought today Your season pass, because I know, You will not fail me.    … Expand

    They take the Witcher 2 (which I would give a 9/10) and improve on everything. The quests are even better than its predecessors and the open world makes it feel more like the novels.

    After 14hours of gameplay i give 10/10. Game is HUGE!!! better then skirym GTAV. Best game of Playstation 4 so far. Best rpg i was ever played. very good game.

The size of map is monstrous, is not one gigantic map, but a lot of big map, no man's land feels like the size of skyrim. The OST is right on the money, every moment feels like an epic adventure.     Game is very good. The developer is the best, giving out 16 DLCs for free, as every developer should do. The only problem are the controls and camera, which they should improve asap. If this is fixed then the score should be a round 10! Thanks cd projekt red!

    This game will make my wife a gaming widow. Like Skyrim and the Dragon Age series, I'm looking forward to spending a great deal of time enjoying my stay in Geralt's world and seeing where it takes me. The PC version looks breathe-taking and plays really nice on my Alienware. It will probably be the one game that I will play all summer......just hope that the ending is more satisfying thanThis game will make my wife a gaming widow.     Created an account just to review this game. Killed a griffin on first attempt, nearly drowned to death trying to get out of the cave at the bottom of the well. 10/10.

    But seriously, the controls can be an issue at times but it doesn't detract from the game overall. It doesn't hinder the combat in any way. 10 or so hours in, haven't left White Orchard. As for the open world, it's absolutely massive, with so much to see and do. You have the main quest, which is told with superbly production values thanks to excellent voice acting, nicely detailed faces, and goodThere's really nothing bad to report with The Witcher 3. The graphics are simply stupendous and a cut above what you're used to with open world RPGs, running at full 1080p. As for the open world, it's absolutely massive, with so much to see and do. You have the main quest, which is told with superbly production values thanks to excellent voice acting, nicely detailed faces, and good animations for the most part. Then you also have the side quests, which unlike many other RPGs where the side quests merely feel like filler, there's a lot more to them here - many of the side quests feel like self-contained stories with satisfying payoffs. In terms of the gameplay, you'll be exploring this massive world, collecting loot, leveling up, unlocking new abilities, and doing everything one would expect from a modern day RPG. Then there's the combat, which may seem different than you're used to at first, and may seem more challenging than some other RPGs since the combat seems to be a lot more animated than most RPGs, but once you master it - and you will - you will love it. I especially love how you can either roll away from enemy attack, block them, parry them, or my favorite, sidestep them stylishly. All in all, The Witcher 3 is a game that every PS4 owner should own.… Expand

    Enthralled, one of my most anticipated games of 2015 and lived up to my expectations. The game is captivating visual and music which creates a true atmosphere thus creates a level of immersion and depth to the plot which acorrding to me most of open world games lacks.
    Although the game technical issues but seeing it's gigantic size and detail. And not to forget the strong support of one    Enthralled, one of my most anticipated games of 2015 and lived up to my expectations. Fast travel is also pointlessly difficult, idk why you wouldn't just be able to fast travel from anywhere outside, which is a pretty general rule for RPG's.     I have to say, I am pretty impressed with this game so far. The voice acting is superb and it has great story telling that really moves the game forward. The graphics are really nice and the world is HUGE. Just massive. I like that you start off with some decent abilities as well as a mount needed to traverse the world. It was really difficult to find this person as there is no marker that labels who it was. The marker only shows you the objective on the world map. But this is such a minute complaint. The Witcher 3 surpassed my expectations and is a definite must play for anyone who enjoys a challenging rpg that is rich in story as well as game play. 9/10… Expand

    I am enjoying this Wtcher as much as the previous installments of the Series. I like the open word the horse back riding while decapitating enemies. I like the Witcher Contracts aspect, it feels now you are doing what his profession is.

I played the game for about 10 hours, the graphic, details are Eye-catching and amazing, if I want to be honest I didn't see such pure and beautiful details in open world games until now, Rains, glow of sun, the light of the moon, the wind between trees, all things are perfectly awesome.
    I found story telling in this    First of all I don't know why the other user gave this game low score! It is clumsy and unprecisly, makes it a little difficult to loot sometimes, some fight combats looks a bit ugly because of it, and it is just enoying that you run around/running into things and people like a confussed animal or something. If you have played the buggyMost of the things in this game are very good.. BUT!!!!! The camera and controls in general, are just unbelievably bad.     I don't know where the positive critic reviews are coming from. On the PC the game has several issues, including sound level problems and video stuttering. The controls on a gamepad are very jerky and stiff, like Shadow of Mordor or the 3d Bionic Commando from a few years ago.     The voice acting is superb, but be careful if you have children around because much of it relies on having a mature audience with a sense of humor. The amount of creatues in the game is astounding. Most RPGs you come across 10 or so different creatures, and that is it. Then you will repeat the cycle with the same creatues over and over. There are an enormous amount of different type of creatures in this game, or those close to the series, "monsters." The attention to detail is amazing. I came across a farmer in game that was shoveling in a field, and his shovel would enter the ground empty, and when it came back up, there was a shovel full of dirt. Once he tossed the shovel, you could actually see the dirt being tossed off. Another example was a kid playing in a stream, and you could actually see the water ripple as he moved his hands through it.

    I haev seen several reviews where people have given the game a low score based solely, and only, on the reasoning they can't create their own character. I find it utterly amusing someone would waste their time to write a negative review about this when they should have know well in advance that Geralt is the main character of the game and the book. What ever made them think they were going to be able to alter the story given in the books is beyond me. It is an adventure about Geralt of Rivia, not John Doe of Pocono.    … Expand

Yes, the camera takes some getting used to but anyone who has played a game involving movement with one stick and the camera with the other should have no problems.     The world itself is vast, the writing is well done, the voice acting is very good, it's a very good looking game.

    As others have mentioned it seems to have pulled from several very popular and successful games such as Skyrim and Dragon Age.

    Very little bugs considering the scope on my GTX 970/I5 4690k i do not know how it runs on lower stuff. Optimization has been the best i've experienced all year and i have every major release.

    Can't recommend enough. Don't listen to the children crying it's beautiful, deep, and will keep you playing for hours and hours.    … Expand

The gameplay is only slightly choppy but it ruins the whole experience. How on earth anyone can rate this game highly is beyond me. I went to a friends house and their game played the same. This would be a great game if the choppy/jerky camera was sorted out. It is going back tomorrow and is the biggest disappointment of the year for me.

(signs are basically different kinds of magic spells). The world is visually stunning, and massive. Not to mention its jam packed with things to do and places to explore. The reason I gave The Witcher 3 an 8 rather than a 10 is due to the somewhat choppy frame rate. It isn't bad enough that it makes the game un-playable, but it can however make for some frustrating combat scenes. Knowing CDPR this will be fixed with an update soon enough. I also can not stand the swimming mechanics. You will know what I mean when you try to loot a treasure chest that is under water. Other than that and Geralt's super annoying voice the game is great. If you look at the negative reviews you will see very quickly that those users have no idea what they are talking about. One guy gave the game a 5 because he didn't like how Geralt looks or sounds like. HAHAHA are you kidding me? Says a lot about someone who doesn't like a game because of how a main male character looks. Anyway the game is worth a try if you are a fan of RPGs. The graphics are incredible for how massive and detailed the world is. The combat system is easy to get used to. Kind of reminds me a little of Shadow of Mordor, but not quite as good. The sound is fantastic, and the level up system is fun and easy to use. My advice for those who never played a witcher game is to make sure you are at the same, or above the experience level any main story mission might have.… Expand

    I'm a big fan of GoT so my expectation for this game is very high. Still, it managed to exceed everything I could have hope for. Very mature story telling, excellent cast, immersive world, asmosphere, enviroment,...

Imersivo, historia tão complexa e profunda como a de Game of Thrones, jogabilidade excelente, personagens cativantes, mapa GIGANTESCO, e o elemento essencial em todo jogo de RPG, horas e horas de gameplay com infinitas coisas a se fazer e lugares a explorar. The Witcher 3 é a obra prima da CD PROJECT RED e pra mim um dos melhores jogos já feitos.

    Beautiful world, amazing story. I have put in about 8 hours already and I know I'm not even 5% done. I will be spending a lot of time with this game. Atleast a 100 hours easily. I also own the PC version and although it looks a little bit better. I think this and bloodborne are the two best looking games out for the PS4 so far. CD RED came out with a home run here.

    I haven't even opened the box yet and I'm excited. Giving it 10/10 cause it has horses in it. What also helps is that Geralt seems to have a beard in this one, and I am a fan of beards. I find them comforting.

All armor doesn't interact right. The shirts are constantly clipping through the pants. Its some serious Ps2 stuff going on. Oh also all these positive comments about the wind looking amazing. What????? The physics are sooo off how can anyone say that. Every single blade of grass up to giant tree looks like its being blown in different direction then the one right next to it. Also ive noticed alot of hanging plants when I walk into them just disappear until you adjust camera angle rather then moving. Now about the controls. How on earth did they manage to get the horrid laggy type controls from odd world abes odyssey. Seriously its that bad. I had to spend many minutes adjusting my sensitivity and it still feels off. The game on hardest difficulty has been a breeze through what I have seen so far. There are just so many things wrong with this it isn't really possible to list them all. There are many youtube video already showing up that verify everything I am speaking about and more. They did not give us the game they showed us that is for sure.… Expand

    I sunk 3 hrs into this game upon release and I must say its 3 of the best hours ive gotten in gaming in a long time! Pretty good graphics mainly the backdrops and scale. They improved the fighting system dramatically from the Witcher 2. I have a feeling ill be dropping many many more hours in this beautifully made game!

Along the way there are instances where you are put in the shoes of Geralt's ward Ciri, and while the sudden jump in playstyle can be jarring, I found her sections to be equally as enjoyable as Geralt's romp through the main quest.

    Gameplay, namely combat, is much improved from The Witcher 2's clunky controls and feels more fluid and satisfying, especially when you take down a paticularily nasty hoard of monsters.

    In short, The Witcher 3 is an amazing RPG, Open world adventure, and video game in general that should not be missed.    … Expand

    this game is 3 time amazing and best RPG game ever i playing. story, graphic, gameplay/combat and voice acting are top Notch. there are some weird glitches during gameplay like my horse got stuck against fence that it can't get out of fence. framerate sometimes dip during cutscenes and gameplay. i recommend this game to everyone : this game is worth 60 bucks

    The biggest issue is the interface font size! It is too small and unreadable on TV with distance from around 3m. Please change it. Other than that it is great game and graphics is amazing on ps4 too I really love the story and music. But please change the UI Font!!!

    This is one of the best RPG and Open World games ever made. The sheer size of the world is breath taking and attention to detail is staggering. It's the most beautiful open world to date with rock solid gameplay and excellent performance ( day 1 patch is a must for frame-rate dips issues, but after that installed you're good to go).
    If you consider Polish studio with only 200 strong staff and half the budget of EA, Ubisoft are pumping into the same crap year after year, you will quickly realize how exceptional in all aspects Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is.
    I could go on and praise this game all day long but I have quests to do, and then some.
    10/10 Must Buy or GTFO. ;)    … Expand

    Bugs are transitory, fame will be eternal. Witcher 3 is an amazing looking game with clever plot and living, colorful world full of interesting characters and places to explore.

    Beautiful world. Mature gameplay and story.True next gen. RPG. Recommended to all B&G I and II, PTorrment, Fallout 1,2 fans. Deserved 10 out of 10. With free DLCs this game will get only better overtime.

    An extraordinary game with stunning visuals and details. Great storytelling, fun RPG elements and a breathtaking atmosphere. A good example what a ''next gen'' game should be!

    Writing probably great (only played 40 minutes - so can't really judge), graphics certainly seem good for the 20 minutes I play. Not really a fan of reaction based combat, but this seems ok as well. Other mechanics seem fine.
    I just can't stand the main protagonist - so that's "Game Over" for me.
    Yes it's a good game probably. If they mod it so you can change the look of the main guy I'll jump on board, but otherwise I'm just picturing him beckoning Vinny Jones and Maria Whittaker into his cheesy neon night club for a cocktail with too many bits of fluorescent crap floating in it.

    This is officially the best game of all time! It's beautiful, combat is perfection and everything was created so incredibly that I would want to live in this world forever! Reality has become obsolete now!;-)Thanks CD projekt red ! You are by far the best game developer in history! Love you all!!;-)

    Fantastic game, the world is so dynamic and huge it's truly incredible. There is alot of stuff to do, the characters are interesting and the plot as in all games is great. If you're an RPG fan than you should immediately get this game!

    One of the best RPGs I've played by far makes skyrim and dragon age inquestition look awful if you haven't got it already I highly recommend you do it's full of content that will keep you from going out doors for days

    Awsome game, nice graph, awsome story line and voiceover. Controls can be more responsive, but is good camera in fight can be better.. If you looking cool story, and fights this game its for you!

    This is not only great game but also, a great story! It is deep and exciting without "fedex' quests. That' is something that for example Dragon Age definately was missing.

    What an unmitigated piece of crap ! Controls and mechanics from the 1990's were enough for me to stop after an hour and ask for a refund on this overhyped nonsense.

    One of the best games ever made. Swimming mechanics need some tweaking, but this is not enough to rid it of a deserved 10/10. A masterpiece of art and gameplay.

    Ive have only played this game for some 22 hours now, and I haven't even left the starting area yet. Im simply in awe of the beauty of this game, constantly finding myself just starring at the screen and the changing environment. I haven't seen this much attention to detail since GTA V, and that is the only other game on the current gen consoles i would give a 10.     The best RPG i have ever played. Amazing character creation. Nicely designed quests. Very rich bestiary. World map is very big and full of content. Almost no loading screens!

    May I call The Witcher 3 "Adult version of Dragon Age Inquisition''? Or same level as Skyrim? Because of the amazing story, fantastic living open world. I'm going to spent hundreds of hours into this game ^^

    Very awesome game, reminds me of Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, and Dragon Age. Bringing the best of those together in a world bigger than GTA V is truly something magnificent. While also telling a very good and mature story in a beautiful setting. Ladies and Gentlemen... Let me present The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Say goodbye to life for a while! 10/10

    Take a bit of Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, The Wolf Among Us and add following ingrediences: most beautiful and dense open World ever created, hard but rewarding combat and the most memorable side quests ever created from which many are dramatic storylines on its own. This masterpiece is what you get!

    Amazing game with great gameplay and story. This game is while the third in the series, is still a great jumping point and CD Projekt Red has done a good job at explaining the backstory. Granted playing the other games and reading the books will allow you to get more out of it, playing this game is still a must for anyone with a ps4, xbox one or a pc strong enough to run it.

    The Witcher 3's subject matter, its almost defiant doubling down on its treatment of women as titillating props for Geralt and the player, even as it tries to flesh out more female leads, is its most disappointing aspect. This constant presence weighs down what would otherwise be an excellent bit of closure for Geralt's video game saga — which isn't helped by the control issues that often detract from sequences meant to break up open-world monotony.
