    Don’t buy this turd.
    Naughty Dog used misleading trailers which show Joel as one of the main characters. But he gets killed in the first 2 hours. And the way he dies is totally ridiculous.

    If you still want to buy this, I suggest you wait a little longer until it lands in the bargaining bin.

Когда состоялся анонс сиквела я был просто без ума от радости, что снова спустя много лет увижусь с героями, которых я очень полюбил. И вот сегодня, спустя 7 лет ожиданий, я прошел эту игру. Как фанат первой части я остался разочарован. Разочарован тем, как они слили моего любимого персонажа (Джоэла). Разочарован любовной линией, которая тут вообще ни к месту и в которую ты не веришь. Разочарован подачей сюжета и ее темы, также как и второй половиной игры. Почему я вообще должен сопереживать убийце моего любимого персонажа ? Как на ней отразились последствия мести ? Ей было абсолютно похер. Элли, убивая одного за другим друзей Эбби постепенно сходила с ума. Эбби же наоборот узнав, что Дина беременна с еще большим удовольствием захотела перерезать ей глотку. Если бы ее не остановили, она бы так и поступила. Характеры персонажей тоже очень быстро меняются, будто у них биполярка. Финал мне не понравился, и не потому, что Элли пощадила Эбби, а потому как это нелогично и топорно подано. Но у игры есть безусловно плюсы: это техническая составляющая. Игра очень красивая, геймплей стал более живым, мир кажется очень большим и разнообразным, постановка многих сцен просто великолепная. Ну а самое светлое, что есть в игре - это воспоминания Элли с Джоэлем. Какие же эти моменты ламповые и одновременно грустные, так и навевают первой частью. Подведя итоги скажу, что в конце я расплакался. Расплакался не потому, что прошел одну из самой ожидаемой мною игры, а потому, что эти ожидания не оправдались. Мне очень жаль, что Джоэл умер за ЭТО. Покойся с миром, Джоэл Миллер, персонаж, который за 7 лет моей жизни стал для меня, как родной.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us Part II takes place 4 years later after the events of the first game. Joel and Ellie are living in a growing community in Wyoming. We see some old characters and some new ones. But after some later events an important death takes place (will go into spoilers later) that sets Ellie into “Revenge Mode”. The majority of the game takes place in Seattle where Ellie seeks revenge. In Seattle you find yourself in conflict between the WLF (Washington Liberation Front) and the violent cult Scars who are at war between each other. But that won’t stop Ellie from finding the person who wronged her. Now in this part of the review I will be doing a pros and cons list of everything I liked about the game and what I didn’t like about the game.(SPOILERS!!!)

    PROS:
    First things first, I have just to say that this game had some beautiful set pieces in it. This is by far the best looking PS4 game.
    There were a lot of improvements on the gameplay which I really liked. The flashback scenes between Joel and Ellie were my favorite parts in the whole game. Those scenes were the most well written scenes in the game. Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson performances when they were together. The satisfying upgrades you did on all your weapons. I really liked how you could explore the environment around you. You get rewarded with looking all over the place for supplies and collectibles. I like how the enemy AI had more emotion to them. They were also more intelligent when it came to the point where it turned into a shootout. Still had some of its horror elements like the first one had. And I really liked taking on the infected (even though I got frustrated with them and died a lot but still enjoyed taking them on).

    Cons: The story wasn’t compelling as the first one. It was your basic revenge plot with telling you that you need revenge and in the end it tells you that revenge is bad. Over time the game just got really tedious and repetitive. The pacing of the game was really slow. After playing it for 5 hours straight I got bored of it and had to encourage myself to continue. The game was way longer than it needed to be.
    You play as the villain Abby for a LONG amount of time. Playing as Abby was my least favorite part of the game. I didn’t mind playing as her at some moments, like having her flashback and learning her motive. Didn’t mind that. When playing as Abby, the game forces you to sympathize for her and give you a better understanding of her. But my feelings for her never changed. I still saw her as the villain. Even after Understanding her motive, I still thought it could’ve been a better motive to kill Joel. It’s a motive that we’ve seen before.
    The writing wasn’t as good as the first one. It felt kinda lazy at some points. Some of the new characters weren’t interesting. It felt like they were just there. When they died I didn’t feel sad or anything because I had no attachment to them like the characters I had attachment for in the first game. The characters I was mostly interested in were Lev and Yara because they were members of the cult Scars and you got to see they’re way of life. But really you don’t understand the cult.
    With that leading me to this, I got to see the intentions of WLF but never got to understand the Scars motive and intentions. All I learned is that they were insane and would kill people thinking that would cleanse them. That's the only part I got from them. But I never knew what they’re intentions were in the beginning and what led them to be who they are. Now, the ending. The ending to me felt really cliche. Like I said in the beginning, the game in the end tells you that revenge is bad. Because of that Ellie lets Abby go even though Ellie had the upper hand in the final fight. In that moment I still wanted payback for what Abby did. In the end Ellie returns back and is all alone. From what it looks like, it seems that they’re setting it up for a third game which I hope doesn’t happen. The Last of Us is one of the best video games of all time. But with a sequel like Part 2 it doesn’t live up to the first one. It fails to meet the expectations of the fans. You have lazy writing, a basic premise, bland characters, and a way too long campaign. Now did I hate this game? Absolutely not. There were still things I enjoyed about the game. It’s not a bad game nor an amazing game. It was just a poor follow up to the first one. But I still enjoyed it. And because of that, I’m giving this game a 5.5/10.     Não sou homofóbico e nem preconceituoso , mais querer empurrar isso goela a baixo a todo momento é ridículo .

    Alto teor de Ideologia de gênero , feminismo e militância .
    Historia muito fraca .

    excelentes gráficos e forte realismo .
    Game play muito bom .

    obs. Matar homem branco hétero somente para encher o ego do feminismo foi de mais .
    Joel nunca cairia nessa armadinha forçada , e aqui no brasil ninguém pode reclamar se não é machista ou homofóbico .
    Me lembro que na época do ps1/ps2 rolou alguma coisa sobre sexualização de personagens feminino nos jogos , onde eu controla Lara Croft em trajes de banho e a turma do feminismo retirou isso .
    Agora tem que ser retirado esse alto teor de ideologia de gênero e feminismo dos jogos também .
    Terminei o jogo com 40 horas com vontade de vomitar , não sei para que fazer isso com o jogo .
    Eu comprei e paguei pelo jogo tenho total direito de reclamar sim , todos tem .
    Não comprarei mais nenhum jogo dessa empresa me senti enganado , nos trailers mostrava o Joel como jogável , passava a impressão que a gente iria ver ele até no final do jogo .    … Expand

I didn’t mind the bait in switch in characters and towards halfway through the game , I could see that the first protagonist went too far in her actions and that the second protagonist was actually the good guy. My advice , leave your politics at home and simply enjoy the game for what it is ....escapism. I’m a conservative and didn’t feel that this game was endorsing any politics .… Expand

    Not for everyone , but if you want cinematic story telling at its best, are invested in the characters and can appreciate the pace, you’ll love it.

    Every bullet fired or received has weight and oomph to it, making battles more intense and much more on the edge.

    I'm choosing to try and not put spoilers in for those of you who want to know if you should get it or not and read some reviews, i don't see how people are saying it's twice as long as the first, because it's not very long at all, and I checked all over for stuff. I see where they were wanting to go, but to me, that part was boring, and I just hurried through to get back to the good stuff, which then when I did and was ready for something big to happen and to really start the game it was over. It stunningly looks good, one of the best games I've seen, and plays really good, didn't have many glitches, went through the walls a few times, but over all really good, it's the story that sucks, which the sucky parts is half the game. I do like that Mel is voiced by Ashly Burch, she always does a great job. I myself, took vacation to play this game, and I feel like it was a waste, not worth the full $60.00 price. The first game was by far better than this one, and while I recommend playing it, it's not gonna be as good as I was hoping, to me definitely one of the biggest let downs of this year.… Expand

    Story - 6/10 - Story was not as strong as the first game. What hurt the story is that it was too long and parts of the game felt like it was going nowhere.

I'm disappointed, upset..even more. The First 10 hours of it were brilliant, yeah the story of Ellie is interesting, strange and beautiful. But..we have a huge "But" and it is the story of another character. I understand why Druckmann wanted make such a story what he wanted to show to players. In my opinion he failed, he couldn't make me love this new character(and as i see thousands of other players), for many reasons. Why is Abby such a huge piece of meat, such stupid girl with ridiculous behavior. Right from the start of the game the authors show us that she and her friends are just brutal maniacs, who want to attack Jackson, further they kill Ellie's best friend. And after that Druckmann want me to play for this piece of **** for 15 hours, without strong plot and without a normal explanation why i must play for that character. After these 15 hours of humiliation i also had to strangle my favorite character(i mean when Abby strangles Ellie and i must push buttons to do it). Why?(( Eventually i even can't get revenge for death of Joel (also my favorite hero). So I hate the second part of this game. I can give 10 points for good graphics, music, atmosphere, beautiful views, marvelous mechanics and brutal and nice killing of enemies, 9 points for the first part of this game (journey of Ellie, Dina and other her friends) and 1 point for the second part and playing for Abby.
    In total I give it 5 points. This is the most disgusting game for ps4 in my opinion. I wish Sony hadn't created this game.    … Expand

    Some of the best visuals I've ever seen in an entertainment product. The attention to detail shows how much the developer truly cares about making the world as compelling as possible. Besides a very great and realistic combat mechanic, the gameplay felt very old in the first half. Same old weapons from the first game, and no big innovation to the gameplay besides a jump button. The second half of the game introduces the player to a brand new arsenal of interesting weapons that heavily improved combat in a much-needed way.

    The realistic world sounds and deep compelling soundtrack really pulls the player into this brutal and dark experience.

    Visually and audibly, the game is a big step-up from its predecessor.

    The new supporting characters are very likeable but go through little development from start to finish. Some are likeable, while others are boring and uninteresting.

    The story fell flat at times, and I felt no connection to the protagonist in the second half of the game. At times I would rather purposely lose to my enemies, rather than putting up a fight. Not a feeling a player should ever experience. The ending was great in my opinion but taught the protagonist a lesson the player had learned long before that point. The bad execution pulls the story from being great to good in my eyes.

    I really want to give the game a positive 9/10, but the poor executed story and characters leave me with a mixed 7/10 review.    … Expand

    The story does not match with TLOU universe and the characters have been purposely changed to fit the narrative. Eg, in the first game, the doctor that was killed was African American (Source: Wiki). In the second game, they changed him to a Caucasian person.

    How the **** you are supposed to do a credible moral about "Vengeance is bad" and make Abby and his friend a bunch of trash people wihout any regret?
    And Ellie forgiving Abby came out of nowhere, doesn't make any freaking sense, she never receive any education from Joel about "Vengeance is bad", kill hundred people to get Abby included her friend, Abby is the one who kill Joel, she even kill Jesse, half-kill Tommy and almost kill Dina but, Ellie forgive her, after a **** flashback
    Really? Nothing work it's writing like ****
    And can we speak about how the story telling is all over the place, even a 5 year old kid will do better than this
    Are we supposed to hate Abby? If that case why did we play her with her friend for 10 hours
    And if we was supposed to have empathy, why did we play her after she kill Joel?
    What kind of non sense is this?
    By the way honestly that wouldn't have change anything for me because the WLF included Abby and his friend are a bunch of uninteresting trash humans, who doesn't aknowledge they are trash by finding excuse for the atrocity they did and do
    And let's finish by the death of Joel, something awesomely out of character because neither him or Tommy would have follow a bunch of Stranger in the house and put themself in a ambush position.
    That scenario is so forced and awesomely bad, didn't even success to give his morality
    And i will stop right here for this because outside of this
    Graphic and bgm deserve a 18/20, the best of his generation for the graphic for now until Ghost of tsushima may overcome it or at least match it
    The world lore is still very realistic with the down fall of humanity 16/20
    The gameplay is fair 15/20
    But the scenario, got a 3 or a 4, only because of the flashback with Ellie and Joel.
    And because it's show one character in another light, Marlène, in the first one she was shown in a bad way, the person who had decided to sacrifice Ellie
    In TLOU2 we saw that she didn't want it but give up under the pressure of Abby and his **** dad who his by the way the worst doctor i never saw
    Because brain doesn't produced any immune defense, if the cordyceps mutated it's was because of Ellie defense system so they should have search in the spinal fluid, plasma, thyroide etc
    Make no freaking sense to kill her for her brain
    Any 13,25 should be my final rating, but a give a minus 2 for another thing
    The hypocrysy of Sony on the censured of sexual content, when every freaking Japenese game got censured for very questionable reason at best or totally unnecessary reason in worst case
    And in this game we got 2 freaking sex scene and the second one absolutely disturbing between Abby and Manny
    And we saw Ellie half nude too after she kill Nora

    Decent game. Easy to get into if you haven't played the first game. The audio, visual, and animations are fantastic. The story, love or hate it, is has some satisfying points, but ultimately fails to evoke any positive emotional or moral take away. It's a miserable story that tells a simple message.     First half is probably a good, solid 8 with some plot holes.
    Second half is a 3 with some excellent visuals and cinematics, including more plot holes. You just keep keep asking yourself why this is even here. Nowhere near the first, but worth picking up once it drops pretty cheap. I also adored the first one, which is one of my all time favourite games.

    Unfortunately the story and characters are the foundation of this franchise and they are just not strong enough to support it.
    My big problem with this game is how inconsistent it is with the first game’s tone and themes. It doesn’t feel like the second half of The Last of Us story; it feels like a different game by a different studio that incorporates elements of the first game without really understanding what made the first game so special.
    The first game clearly established that this is a dangerous world. People die frequently and even finding safety in a QZ doesn’t mean a quiet life. It is harsh and overbearing. People just try to get by. Joel’s journey across the country with Ellie makes sense because of the extraordinary hope she represents for a cure. The player believes the characters’ motivations.
    The characters in Part II seem unconcerned by the dangers of the outside. Abby travels over 800 miles from Seattle to Jackson with several companions simply to get revenge on the man who killed her dad 5 years ago. Ellie then travels back to Seattle with Dina to get revenge on Abby and co. No character ever acknowledges that these journeys are incredibly dangerous and nobody tries to convince Ellie that it’s a bad idea. It stretches believability to breaking point and the game is only a few hours in at this point.
    Believability is actually a consistent issue throughout this game. So many times I just didn’t buy that the characters would be doing whatever it is they’re doing. Abby, who we are told is the WLF’s “top Scar killer” spends two days travelling all over Seattle to save the lives of two Scar teenagers who saved her life the day before. We frequently see Abby be disparaging about the Scars and even when she is risking her life to travel with Lev for life-saving medical supplies, she keeps using the term Scar even though he keeps correcting her to the less offensive ‘Seraphite’. It’s contradictory - we are supposed to believe that Abby cares enough about these two kids that she’ll risk her life to save them, yet she is apparently indifferent enough that she will keep insulting Lev with the term ‘Scar’. This is just one example of many where the characters’ actions don’t make sense. It gets worse to the point that Abby is willing to start killing lots of WLF members just to save Lev as she is, apparently, - after spending a few hours with him - so attached to Lev that she will totally abandon the safety and community she has with the WLF to begin an uncertain life with him. Again, makes no sense, and the game doesn’t try to justify it.
    The dialogue is also in serious need of attention. The first game used subtext very effectively and allowed the player a lot of room to infer what the characters were thinking. This approach, which gave us beautiful lines of dialogue in the first game, is abandoned in Part II. The conversations are usually bland, trite and forgettable. Characters say things that feel out of step with where they are and what they’re doing. The lines just feel too ‘on the nose’ and, when compared to the first game, stick out like a sore thumb.
    There are other issues too but the ones I’ve listed give you an idea of what this game is all about.
    It’s not a *bad* game. It doesn’t deserve 0, 1 or 2 out of 10 but it certainly doesn’t warrant 10 either. My score of 7 reflects the fact that the game is superb in some areas but fails in the most important area - story and characters.    … Expand

    Я нормально отношусь к ЛГБТ людям, нормально отношусь к сильным и независимым женщинам, но зачем так портить персонажей, взять хоть эту эбби, она отвратительна, играть за нее не интересно. The first is game is one of the best games and stories of any video game. It has the same issue some films have now of trying to subvert expectations at the detriment of telling a satisfying story. You want people to play and have sympathy on abby right after she killed jesse? it doesnt work like that, players have been through way more with ellie and joel and you think by giving them a chance to play with abby they would totally forget what she has done? People dont even want to play abby, the more they play as her the more they get disgusted.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Regarding the soundtrack and everything visual from the graphics to the acting performance this game deserves a much higher rate. To sum it up I would give it a range of 9-10 out of 10 in these areas. But, to my regret, the story naughty dog presented to us is far from the masterpiece most review sites are claiming it to be.
    The whole plot is based on a double revenge and tells us at the end to seek revenge (by murdering people) is a bad thing. This is such a boring message that I can't believe I played 30 hours to get it presented. Especially for video games and a zombie apocalypse in particular, this is both unnecessary and unrealistic (E.g is killing a pregnant woman in self-defense really worse than killing any other man/woman?). But I'm sure it was bound to get acclaim by reviewers from the start. First the developers present you the cruel death of Joel and send you to a journey to make his murders accountable for their actions. Although I expected Joel to die, I took note of the fact naughty dog tried their best to create the impression he will live in this sequel, so his relationship with Ellie can still function as a selling argument. Since I was mostly indifferent to Joel as character (although he was well written in the first part), during his death I did not feel the hate/sadness the authors wanted to create, but rather thought: “What a standard plot device”. Also, they chose revenge and hate as a feeling for the audience to feel because it’s the easiest one to produce. Can you imagine how hard it would have been to create the feelings for Abby and Lev in players like in the first part for Joel and Ellie? No that would have been too much work, better (literally and metaphorically) kill characters the audience already has a relation to and then try to redeem their murder.
    The pacing of the first half is extremely slow, and the game forces you to make stupid decisions and tell you afterwards how bad these decisions were. The plot is exclusively driven forward by stupid coincidences (e.g. characters leaving maps of were they go/went and where their base is and many more).
    The most stressful part of this game was the second half where you have to play as Joel's murder Abby. Opposite to the first half where the game wants to shine the worst light possible on Abby and the WLF (making them appear as ruthless warlords, which torture and kill people as they like, kill everyone not in their team with a "shoot first ask questions later"-mentality and their weak motives) the second half is devoted to show her as a nice human who only wants to survive and protect her friends. But while in the first half the game is rather successful in its mission, it fails its job terribly at the second half, mostly due to its cheap tricks: It is never explained why the WLF shoot first when spotting an outsider. Moreover, although she clearly tortures other people, the game wants you to like Abby because she is friendly to dogs and rescue two of the scars which help her escape others of them. Her whole plot isn't either a justification for what she did (same stays true for Ellie, but it is as poorly written) nor does she show at some point regret for what she did. And after all the pain those 30 hours were, the game doesn't let you a choice whether to spare or kill Abby. You have to spare her, Ellie returns to her home only to hunt Abby for a second time and yet again you are not allowed to have a choice here and spare her a second time. Compared to the first part: You may not have made the same decision as Joel, but his motives and feelings were understandable and the success of a medication at least questionable. In the second part, this is not as ambivalent, since the alternative for Ellie is much brighter and her second pursue of her revenge doesn’t make any sense.

    Summary: Visuals are great. but the story lacks logic in every way, I can't give this game a rate higher than 4. The Gameplay is despite a jumping and dodge mechanic the same as in the first part, no improvement, and no degradation. The plot feels forced in every way and makes you frustrated because you would never make such stupid decisions. Could have been much better, even with a revenge plot.    … Expand

    The only redeemable moment in the game was in a flash back with joel, at the museum. This is not a game I wanted to rate so low, the story is a kick to the face of all tlou fans, and made me hate over 80% of the game. If they had not made me play as the murderer then it would have felt better, and the end is the last **** you of a now hated series imo.

    This is nothing more than pandering to the "new ideology" where "men is bad" and "women is strong".
    After that, you are *FORCED* to play as the women who just killed you. That is just awful. What the f _ _ _ was the developers thinking? (Spoiler they weren't thinking)

    One Year later I still have a very bad feeling about this game, the story is painful for me, it went from something really good to being so bad. The gameplay is very cool and good, i enjoyed it but the story is very very very disappointing. I feel very broken hearted on how they decided to take this story arc for the part 2.

The way he died set the story up brilliantly. The reason he died was the only possible way to end it. But to THEN make us PLAY as the character we want to die more than any other character? Why would I want to win? At least give the players the damn CHOICE whether they pull the trigger at the end.

    Completely destroys the enjoyment of the game at a core level, and actively works against the beautiful gameplay, because you don't want to play the Abby sections.

    I got it refunded. First game I ever got refunded.

    The Last of Us Part 2’s Metacritic Page Shows How Broken Numerical Scores Are

    Despite The Last of Us Part 2‘s mixed critical reception, review score aggregator Metacritic shows it with a critical score of 95 out of 100, with a plethora of 10/10s developer Naughty Dog has been happy to tout. The user scores, meanwhile, sit at an abysmal 3.5 out of 10, based on over 31,000 reviews and counting, over 20,000 of which are negative. All of these numbers are meaningless.

    User reviews on Metacritic began pouring in almost as soon as the game launched. Much of this was likely review bombing, a practice in which people intentionally flood a game with negative reviews. Forbes noted that the game had over 5,000 user reviews only a half-day into release, suggesting “unless people are doing blitzing speed runs and then immediately going to Metacritic to post angry 0/10 reviews…something fishy is clearly going on.”

    The game hasn’t even been out for two full days in the US; running at 25-30 hours, it’s unlikely many of these negative reviews, even taking into account regions where the game launched sooner, are from people who’ve finished it. A vocal contingent of players has been set against The Last of Us Part 2 since its April’s leaks. On Metacritic, a large portion of reviews reflect this, calling director Neil Druckmann **** and railing against the game’s “SJW propaganda.” “This is a political statement, not a video game,” wrote one user.


    Other negative reviews are more reasoned, taking complaints with the game’s story, citing plotholes and unlikeable characters. “Unfortunately, this sequel destroys the remarkable achievements of the first game,” wrote one reviewer. “Once you’ve finished it it literally has been for nothing!” wrote another. Many players disliked what the game does to some of its beloved characters, with one writing that a character’s story was “a complete insult to the character.”

    While the negative reviews far, far outweigh the positive ones, there are also over 800 mixed reviews as of this writing, and over 8,500 positive ones. “Unmatched facial expressions, incredible level and audio design and phenomenal graphics make this one of the most beautiful worlds ever created… The story is shocking and real,” reads one early positive review.

    For comparison, the generally reviled Fallout 76 for PS4 has a critical score of 53 against a user score of 2.8, based on 4,601 reviews. The disastrous Anthem has a critical 54 versus a user score of 3.5, based on 1,268 reviews. Mass Effect 3, whose contentious ending drew so much ire developer Bioware changed it, has a 93 critical score against a 5.7 based on 1,921 reviews. These critical numbers don’t all reflect the many sites that don’t use review scores, or ones that have dropped numbers or altered how they’re utilised ” Polygon, for instance, stopped using numbered scores in 2018, while IGN removed decimal scores in January. (Kotaku, meanwhile, has never used numbers.) In all these cases, however, both the critical and user scores on Metacritic seem to paint at least some reasonable picture of these games’ receptions.


    Whether The Last of Us Part 2‘s mind-bending amount of negative reviews are from players predisposed to hate the game or those who legitimately found it lacking, the discrepancy between the critical and user scores is notable. There are a lot of problems with Metacritic: the effects ratings have on game developers and the ease with which players can abuse them, to name a few. Basing your sense of a game’s quality on numbered review scores is itself a fool’s errand; Metacritic scores fail to take into account the diverse critical opinions of the game (several user reviews accuse these positive critical scores of being paid for) and the plentiful non-scored reviews (such as Kotaku‘s, among others).

    Someone looking at critical scores alone would believe the game was widely beloved, only to be faced with the onslaught of negative user reviews that might lead even the most sceptical reader to believe something was amiss on the critical end of things. That aside, the sheer amount and noise of the user reviews would make it even more difficult to tell how players actually feel about the game. Metacritic, for all it’s become a supposedly vital metric for assessing a game’s quality, here shows a bunch of meaningless numbers and a lot of rage, very little of which paint any picture of how players are actually finding the g    … Expand

Takmer všetko, čoho sa dotknete, je ovplyvnené vašimi činmi, takže či už je to vysoká tráva, ktorá sa ohýba pod vašimi nohami, keď ňou prechádzate, alebo predmety na stole, ktoré sa odrazia od seba a na okolo, keď do nich narazíte, tomuto naozaj venovali veľa času pri vytváraní The Last of Us Part II, interakcia prostredia je na špičkovej úrovni. Je evidentné, že väčšina mechaník je prebraných z Uncharted 4 a stand alone datadisku Lost Legacy, hlavne práca s lanom a interakcia lana s prostredím, práve v týchto predošlých počinoch od Naughty Dog bol práve prototyp lana použitý.

    Tieto pridané novinky vytvárajú dojem, že hrateľnosť niekam pokročila, ale slúžia viacemenej len ku odvráteniu pozornosti od toho, ako málo sa zmenila celková hrateľnosť. The Last of Us Part II neprináša revolúciu v boji , ale ani v stealth mechanikách svojho predchodcu, namiesto toho sa rozhodol pridať len ďalšie spôsoby boja proti nepriateľom. Zatiaľ čo predtým ste sa možno cítili byť prinútený k určitému spôsobu, ako sa postaviť nepriateľovi, jeho pokračovanie vám umožňuje použiť všetky zbrane a rozpútať peklo, alebo íst potichu pomocou stealthu alebo vôbec nepriateľa nekonfrontovať– niekedy. Píšem niekedy lebo hra Vám miestami v skriptovaných sekvenciách nedá na výber.

    Bojové prostredia sú otvorenejšie než kedykoľvek predtým s viacerými miestami, do ktorých sa môžete vtiahnuť a obísť nepriateľov, a hliadkovacie cesty nepriateľov sú tentokrát oveľa menej strnulé. Mierenie, ktoré sa časom dá vylepšiť je už od designu mierne náročné ale zase sa vracia ten parádny pocit s perfektne zvládnutej situácie kde nepriateľa zložíte presnou strelou do hlavy buď pomocou tlmenej pištole alebo v neskorších častiach aj šípom. Nepriateľia sú v pokračovaní viacej obozretnejší a tým pádom sú konfrontácie viacej zaujímavé a vďaka obrovskému množstvu animácii sú tiež aj skoro vždy odlišné. Perfketný príklad sú pasáže z úvodu hry, kde doslova lovíte nepriateľov v malej mestskej časti HillCrest.

    Vo vašom vybavení je tiež badateľný pocit zlepšenia, je síce mierne zjednodušený, ale čím viac ho upgradujete pri precíznych animáciach na pracovných stoloch, tým sa zbraň nielenže lepšie ovláda, menej kope alebo má väčšiu kapacitu ale fyzicky sa mení. Jednou z noviniek je akési poľudštenie nepriateľov, keď im postupne budete ukončovať kariéru jedného po druhom, každý nepriateľ má meno, niečo, čo ich priatelia radi vykríknu, keď ich zabijete priamo pred ich zorným polom. Toto, spolu s pomalými, bolestivými smrťami vašich nepriateľov, pri ktorých kričia v agónii a zvíjajú sa okolo, sa stáva takou samozrejmosťou, že to časom jednoducho pôsobí ako taká rutina.

    Now when it comes to the game, i'll be honest, it is booring af, and the story drags itself painfully, i literally have no interest in finishing this game, gameplay is repetitive it's a more polished version of TLOU but at the end TLOU was never great because of it's gameplay, TLOU 2 feels soulless like if they changed the team behind the game, it tries to grip to the legacy but at the same time it tries to forget it when it matters the most.

    I'm not even gonna touch the woke aspect of the game, we already know what they were going for, we already know who Druckman is and what he believes in, i think it was a terrible decision to go that way, but hey i bet there are some individuals who will enjoy that, right?    … Expand

    A number of questionable choices that divided the community, but looking at the ending, it seems there was no obviously better way to tell this story. So it seems to me those choices were justified.

I have no interest in playing Neil Drukmann's terrible fanficiton fantasy. I have no interest in watching the characters i love from the first game all of the sudden act like complete morons in part 2. I have no interest in being forced to play as the character that brutally murders the character i grew to love from part 1. I have no interest in playing a game that is trying to check diversity boxes before making good characters. I have no interest in playing through a 25-30 hour narrative that accomplishes NOTHING. I have no interest in supporting a company that runs a manipulative marketing campaign that outright LIES to their consumers. I have no interest in supporting a company that abuses copyright policies to try and take away the livelihoods of content creators just for talking about their game.

    Bottom line, this is a terrible sequel to what i consider one of the best games ever made. Terrible enough that in my mind, it no longer exists and The Last of Us is and forever will be a standalone title in my eyes.    … Expand

    Game destroys the entire purposed of TLoU part 1. Fireflies planned to keep Ellie sedated and kill her without talking to her or Joel. He did the right thing. on part 2 they just make it out to be as wet he did was wrong. This game was so uncomfortable to play. Sick developers. This game made people feel so miserable. First time I regret spending money on a game.

    the early part of the game is very similar to the original from a graphical pov and is almost DLC but then it opens up into some of the best graphics ever seen complimented by some fun (and violent) gameplay.

I was angry and upset and confused why I was being forced to play as this person...but she won me over. Though the character is overall wasted and fails to do anything interesting. Though I did find her extremely attractive but then I'm weird lol

    But the game is too long and has too many false endings for my liking. It does waste your time. And every time Joel and Ellie are together I was angry that this wasn't the game. Those tiny segments are amazing and wonderful and the museum is flawless magic.

    I have no idea what is wrong with Neil D (the director) but I feel he hates himself and despises his many of his fans. He is clearly a clever guy and made the WONDERFUL The Last Of us but the man needs to step back and allow others to edit his genius. This game needs a serious edit but not a directors cut haha

    ALSO as a LGBT+ person I didn't like THREE bloody LGBT + stories. As it took the power from one story told well to three told poorly. Hell the Lev story was just offensive and unnecessary and clearly written by someone who really doesn't know what he is talking about. Though I applaud their efforts to be different but they end up being tone death as everyone else. Atleast they tried though.

    There is an issue which should be a discussion about the ENDLESS reused assets. The sheer volume of enemies who were physically identical became embarrassing at one point. Fighting a wave of identical humans and monsters only compounded the issues with lack of variety and too much repetition. Lazy inexplicable decisions which hurt the game and made it into a repetitive slog at times.

    Yes I had some graphical issues and as the game goes on they became worse. I played a large chunk with no arm so that was hilarious but ruined the immersion. Sound and music are solid and the game is long...like way too long haha but def. get your money worth.

    It is not a scratch on the original and not much like it and this is a genuine shame. the story is not a good one and it is poorly told. I reminded me of BEYOND 2 Soulz that Quantic Dreams thing. They re-released a version which didn't mess with the chapter order. I feel TLOU2 needs this asap to help make us really care vs being told or manipulated to care.

    Overall I give it an 8 for graphics and trying to do something even if it fails but a 7 for wasting alot of potential and good will as well as literally spitting on fans at times. It made me mad...so there is that haha    … Expand

    I feel like you are not allowed to say bad things about this game or you are labeled as a homophobe even though your criticism is completely against something else in the game.
    What people actually dislike here is the story, which is something that a 15 year-old fan fiction writer would come up with.

    Neil has been watching way too much Game of Thrones because of this; "ha ha guess you didn't expect this to happen huh?!" Out of nowhere unexpected **** happening doesn't equal good Neil.

    In the game devs make you kill, burn, cut, curb stomp people, and then they make you feel like the bad guy because you did that **** even though you had no choice.

    The going back and forth with Ellie and Abby was just **** stupid.
    Yeah make me play with a character I don't care for 10 hours holy ****
    I was literally speed running while playing with Abby just to get it over with.

    Game looks **** great I have to give that to ND, but gameplay wise it's the same old same old, nothing special, and killing my boy Joel in the worst possible way in the second hour of playing while introducing a random new playable character is just lazy and poor storytelling.    … Expand

    The original game was a lot better story wise. TLOU2 looks good and plays good but the story is horrendous and failed to keep me interested. Ghost of Tsushima was a much better game with a great story plus it outsold TLOU2 by 50%.

Игра начинается с того, что азиат ведёт Элли к его бывшей девуше (теперь это девушка Элли, она теперь вдруг лесбиянка). Девушка у неё бисексуалка, тёмная, с огромным носом, еврейка. По пути Элли унижает какого-то мужика за то, что он якобы шовинист (к чему это было придумано?). Дальше они идут в поход, занимаются лесбийским сексом, нам в пол экрана демонстрируют черные небритые подмышки ее подруги (бодипозитив повестка). Выбор спать или не спать нам игра не даёт (в 2020 году, ало). Мне, 30 летнему мужику с нормальной семьей, который проходил первую часть, это отвратительно. Элли мне стала почти как виртуальная дочь. Я не хочу играть за 19 летнюю лесбиянку, но мне не дают делать даже такого выбра, больной на голову сценарист все решил за меня. Дальше передают в управление бабу-трансгендера на стероидах.     One of the worst and most pathetic triple a game releases of all time. An agenda filled game fueled by the creative writers own western political views, an atrociously written story with horrible characters and one of the most non sensical endings of all time. First game was retconned to fit this abomination they concocted after the fact.

    The gameplay continues the style of tlou1. Nothing very original but the gameplay was already good in the first part, so why change it. The story is kind of **** because of the feminist and lesbian propaganda. Graphics are impressive. A nice and very political correct game...

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
