    No se parece en nada a la obra original, la ambientación carece de esa atmósfera de aventura y exploración que nos atrajo en el primer juego. En cuanto a los personajes es difícil ganarles cariño dada a la forma en la que están escritos.

But good god the story direction, taking a beloved character that was built so well in TLOU1, guarded, necessarily cold but loving, an expert survivor who could pick out an ambush from a mile away - turning him into that? Hes not even the same character. That scene set the tone for the whole game and to make you play as Abby after the fact for a solid portion of the game? Its honestly so dejecting - and not in the way I felt when Lee in the walking dead died or Dom in Gears of War. It was a pointless death forced in the first 2 hours by a character you want us to sympathize with when we have no prior experience with them. It's hard to complete the thought at the moment but its just saddening that a story beloved by so many was used to push an agenda that it now has only hurt.… Expand

    The graphics, world, gameplay, acting and motion capture is second to none! The expertise, polish and attention detail by the technical and performance staff should be highly commended. It’s the story which completely lets all that hard work, be completely overshadowed and destroyed. The behaviour of “some” involved at Naughty Dog and Sony has been disgraceful as well.     Apart from the graphics, there is little to the game I actually enjoyed. If you loved the first game do yourself a favour and skip this one. I can't imagine that this franchise could possibly continue after this game it really tarnishes the legacy that much.

    They killed the franchise, still i can't believe what they've done.
    I've almost cryed for the frustation on the bad ending, on the disrespect for the characters, ruinning the best story of the past decade.
    Trating Joel like he was a little innocent kid, and killing him in one of the worst deaths ever on any videogame. the story is fuc*ing s**** and isn't TLOU.
    Forzing the player to empatize with Abby and then forcing to kill Ellie, this is not right, and is unnacceptable
    The gameplay was very good anyway, the new mechanics added fine to the game. we got more exploration zones, some kinda very easy puzzles, and big scenaries. However was a little bit repetitive fighting against humans, or undeads, again and again

    Conclusion: Don't waste 60 euros on this, please...    … Expand

I'm into survival horror much more than action/adventure, so I am surprised that anyone could have a problem with the game being "unrelentingly bleak." For me, that a bonus. The gameplay and storyline are ethically demanding and emotionally taxing. You are forced to reckon with the violence your characters partake in and from multiple angles. Becoming attached to opposing characters in the game made it truly disturbing and uncomfortable when circumstances got reversed. This kind of storytelling is more common in literature than in games, and I appreciated it greatly. Beware of all the snap judgments out there: a proper playthrough takes 25 to 35 hours, and the internet was flooded with bashing mere hours after release. On top of that, characters not behaving the way you wish they would is not a plot hole.… Expand

But no matter what you think of the divisive story choices, divisive or not they are just poorly written story choices that negatively display a story which around those story choices this is well written. The gameplay is fluid, the environment and level design is stunning, game mechanics are well executed. But at the end the last of us 2 fails to write Abby’s character well to justify the game time spent playing as her in a game that isnt bad or inconsistent in writing because plot points were divisive, but in a story that tries to be unpredictable and fails with no adequate writing to explain abby's character or actions with very poor writing to explain a few characters fates. In terms of innovation I feel player choice was robbed in comparison to the 1st game. its more like we are forced into situations with this game in which I think we could had benefited to alternate story choice elements on what in Particular Abby or Ellie does. it would had left it so much more of an impactful first playthrough impression. *** Score:6-7/10 game‬***
    why a 7. My average calculates it at a 6.5 based on categories of graphics, how smooth / responsive it runs, overall Story and innovations if applicable. In my score substance needed to stand out more than just beauty. I thoroughly enjoy the 1st last of us game. It is one of the masterpieces that was thought provoking in terms of Joels building relationship with Ellie who is your companion for a majority of the game. the world provided an interesting twist on the common tropes of a pandemic and dystopian settings. the second game is thought provoking but there was a good section of the game I felt like I didn't have as much understanding of character motivations or maybe they were just not written clearly or I could not understand it clearly in particular Abby. The fact the story seemed so linear and not taking into account players being able to to make the choices at certain points in the game us the real disappointment I have in this game. Maybe I set my standards too high but I think that could had helped the game a lot in the story department. limiting player choice to a linear set up doesn't work well considering its predecessor.    … Expand

La verdad a mi me parece un juego excelente a nivel gráfico y su jugabilidad, tal vez la historia no es la mejor pero para mi se merece un 10, por otro lado es mejor que la gente que solo vino a tirar hate al juego que no esté aquí ya que no aprecia la calidad del juego, para mi se merece ser el mejor juego del año, no vas a encontrar nada parecido en otro lugar, yo si terminé el juego y estoy dando mi opinión una vez terminado, no soy como esas personas que no lo han terminado o que ni siquiera tienen el juego y lo critican y lo vuelvo a repetir, para mi es el mejor juego de todos ya que... Aunque es un juego lineal, parece un juego de mundo abierto por lo grande de los escenarios. Muchos se quejan de la muerte de joel y les recuerdo que la historia se basa en un mundo apocalíptico, aquí no hay héroes no porque eres el prota vas a estar vivo porque no hay héroes y no habrán, el juego es super realista en ese punto y otros se quejan sobre el final de que ellie no venga a joel y yo a qui les pregunto.... No pasó lo mismo en el primer juego?, al final joel no entregó a ellie, no sucedió lo que lógicamente tenía que pasar, pues en este caso es lo mismo, como va avanzando la historia la mentalidad del personaje cambia y la gente que solo critica para tirar mierda del juego les digo que se ven muy mal ya que ni siquiera tienen el juego o no lo han terminado, este es el mejor juego de todos y por eso le doy un 10… Expand

    The Last of LGBT II - good story to kill series forever. Druckmann wanted to surprise us; he succeeded. The whole game was accompanied by a persistent sense of disgust and nausea.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So I’ve never written a review but I figured I should considering how big of an impact this game series has had on me. I’ll preface by saying I’ve basically memorized the first one, absolutely loved it and it’s been my top favorite game for the entire seven year wait for the sequel. I felt connected to that game, and I was emotionally invested in all of the characters. Naturally when this was announced several years back I was heavily excited. But on to the actual review As I’ve literally just finished the game. SPOILERS! I’ll start with the negatives: I understand why Joel was killed in the fashion that he was, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that I liked how it happened and especially didn’t like that it happened pretty much right from the start. But if you’re going to build a game around a revenge journey, what better way to do that than to mercilessly murder a truly loved character. I wish that act would’ve waited a couple more hours in the game and I would’ve liked some more Ellie and Joel time not in flashbacks. My next negative is that I honestly felt like this game was pushed and lead on that we’d be focusing on Ellie, yet here we are spending half of the game playing as Abby and going through her story. I honestly got frustrated because I just wanted to play as Ellie and continue her story and journey. But after playing as Abby for a while, I realized what the developers were doing with this game, which is basically showing us the other side of our actions and that the actions we make, both in the past (Joel killing her father in cold blood) and present (Ellie killing her friends in the aquarium) will eventually have consequences. It’s a dark world that they live in, and everyone is just trying to get to tomorrow. Though I will admit, it was neat how they told all of the events from Ellie’s point of view, and then all of the events from Abby’s point of view. It helped show me that there’s more to this world, even though I was really only wanting Ellie’s revenge story. And lastly, Kinda wish that she didn’t let Abby live but that’s just my opinion. Now on to the positives: despite the negatives that I have with the game, which really isn’t many even though they’re quite large, I still thoroughly enjoyed the game. I enjoyed the smarter AI with the enemies both infected and non-infected. The added challenge was nice and a major improvement on the first. Also, combat and environmental movements felt a lot like Uncharted 4 to me which was odd at first but I grew to really like it eventually because working my way through this world was really enjoyable. Also, as someone who regularly plays on PC with uncapped frame rates at first I struggled but honestly even though the game is locked at 30FPS, it really didn’t seem like it too much. Graphically the game is gorgeous and I think they did a great job on it even if my PlayStation wanted to take off from the fan kicking on so high. But I think the most important positive above all of the others is that this game, even with it being different than what I expected and wanted, still made me extremely emotional and reminded me as to why I loved Ellie and Joel so much. I hate that he’s gone, but I love that he lives on through Ellie and that she’ll go on in life carrying him with her and impacting those based on how he helped raise her. In summation, I wish there were some different things in this game, but it’s still a good one nonetheless. It’s still a good story, still emotional and powerful but in a different way than the first. I give it a solid 8/10. One last note however, typically I find that a lot of games and movies fall short when they try to incorporate females or those who are gay or minorities in to lead roles because they tend to focus on the role being a strong FEMALE/GAY character instead of a STRONG female/gay character. The character is garbage and not engaging if they’re not a strong character regardless as to their sex, race etc... And contrary to the popular belief from many reviews I’ve read, I don’t necessarily agree with most of them because I think they got it right with Ellie and Abby. Both of their characters put the plot and story first, they’re both strong characters, and the fact that they’re female/gay isn’t the centerpiece of the story.… Expand

    Beautiful gameplay and graphic , can't wait for multiplayer to come out. The story is horrible, and just kills the game. Uninteresting and unlikable characters. Would tell others to rent or wait till on sale or for the multiplayer to come out . Very disappointed

This is a honest opinion about the game, using my experiencie given with The last of Us (for me, a solid 9.6) and The last of Us 2 (is a 7.4 but the calification is only with entire numbers) The gameplay feels good, the same in the first game but with some improvements (the dash, dodge, jump, new tools and weapons, etc), the ai is good, can be better (sometimes feels so unnatural with reactions in 1 frame, and others the enemies seem to not see you almost in front of them, could be better), the battles and enemies are good with the last problem exposed.
    Now the problem, character development and story, first the Joel's death. Feels so wack, unrealistic (in consideration about the first game): Joel mistrust everyone in the first game, even Ellie, and now he got a window of trust with some random people (even saying his name), and being killed; is so dumb, a stupid decision and a whole hole in the narration. All the plot with the antagonist has a bad execution and low quality doing with morality, could be a lot better, more development could be required (the introduction could be like Assasins creed brotherhood with an assault to Jackson, and knowing better the enemies in the road. This could be more safe than the final product). The final is also dumb, why doing everything you have done to revenge, even leaving your own life behind, to do nothing in front the person who killed your best friend and even a pattern figure (and others like Jesse's death, being a problem with the relation with 2 near of you people Dina and Tommy, basically destroys your life) and get nothing instead? (literally, Ellie is alone in the final) This feels bad, and seems all the story and every action the player done is for nothing.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 首先这游戏我预购了实体，看了一眼剧情后，开幕雷击，直接退款了，后面的剧情看别人玩了，整体来讲其实还行，但是叙事做得跟屎一样，艾莉被刻画成一个傻屌，艾比倒是刻画得有血有肉，很多其他角色死得很廉价，像乔尔杰西这些人死得真的太随便了，这个叙事结构我认为如果把艾比的事先放前面然后只讲她想复仇而不讲目标是乔尔，会好很多。讲真作为玩过一代的我，无法接受这样一部不尊重玩家不尊重前作粉丝七年等待的续作。
    At first I purchase this game in advance, but after I watch somebody play the first hour of this game, I immediately ask for a full refund. Then I watch the whole gameplay in some players' live streams. Actually, the whole story isn't too bad but the story telling really sucks while Ellie acts like an idiot and Abby acts like a real person. And many characters' death is so cheap such as Joel and Jessie who died casually.     If you loved TLOU1 for it's story and relationship between Joel and Ellie, Then do not buy this game. The gameplay and graphics are phenomenal and amazing but the story is complete garbage. Waited 7 years for this **** to come out. **** Neil Druckmann. I recommend a sale if your going to buy this game.

Ellie doesn't act like Ellie anymore, shes some cartoonish depiction of a dark, brooding, tumblr teen now, her love interest could be replaced with an overly flirtatious 2x4 and the plot wouldnt be affected at all, the leaks were right about Joel, and nothing about the story is redeeming of any of this. I dont know why this always happens, professional reviewers praise the game as the second coming of Jesus riding on a Buddha, while the fans take massive runny dumps all over it, but its gotta stop. Full disclosure, I made an account today for the sole purpose of reviewing this one game, not because I'm a troll or a bot, but because I feel legitimately guilty that some poor loser out there might have seen my defense of this dumpster fire in a forum or in a YouTube comment section and might have been persuaded to give the game a shot. Well I'm fixing that today. I'm going back and following up on all of my comments warning people to stay away from this garbage. There is no retribution for the sins I've committed, but maybe I can right that wrong just a little bit like this.
    The more intricate level designs, parkour, rope puzzles, and enemy additions in the form of dogs, and the Scars were kind of cool, I guess, and they do help get your mind of the trash plot for a moment or two, so it's not a straight 0, but TLoU wasn't well known and universally loved for its gameplay, it was loved for its relatable characters, realistic development, and compelling storytelling. Take that away and evidently your left with nothing but trash.
    Again, I feel legitimately embarrassed for defending this game. They should have just done a prequel about Joel, or Tess, or Marlene, or Tommy, or Bill, or literally anything else, Christ you've got a built in 20 year gap at the beginning of the first game! You should have let the audience decide what the future holds and explore the past that's already set in stone. The series should have chronologically ended with that last powerful moment. Last Of Us 2 takes the first game and throws it in the garbage. The only thing this game has going for it, is that it looks great graphically.     Why not a 6/10? well, the team behind this game said several times they didnt want to make a "fun" game, and that the main focus should be the story, well, if the studio considers the story so important, then it weights more than the graphics and gameplay.

I think everyone is pissed off due to Joel's death and Ellie's failed revenge. The idea of knowing another perspective playing as Abby is just astonishing, you start hating Abby in such a way that you can't control to wish her death, but you can realize that she isn't a bad person in such context, she was just trying to fulfill the same objective as Ellie's actual objective. The only thing that i may change is the end, that is a big detail but that doesn't implie that the game deserve a bad mark at all.… Expand

    The game looks amazing..... and that’s it, the story and gameplay are super boring and the plot twists are just angering and not exciting. It seems like naughty dog just had some ideas for the game and threw boring infected fighting in between the short and bad story

Joel doesn't even trust his soul, and so does Tommy. You are forced to play as this individual who has bigger muscles than Arnold Schwarzenegger, i mean are you serious naughtydog, this is the best you can give us, the story is an absolute joke, the ending makes no sense, and you clearly kill joel for no reason.
