Having seen what this "sequel" came to be makes me think that this practice should be illegal. This isn't a sequel. It might be a spin-off, it might be a fanfic, but it certainly isn't a sequel. It took the two main characters from the previous title, used their faces and names, yet stripped them of all of their traits, personality and characteristics, and for what? A typical "bittersweet" story? A "there's no good or bad, just different perspectives" ending? Social activism? Truly deplorable. The writer should be fired and be forced to forever be remembered as someone who attempted to rip people off, by promising to deliver a continuation to a story that was adored by many, and instead seizing the opportunity to virtue signal.… Expand

    Pulls the classic mistake of going for shock value over actual intelligible substance. The last of us 1 was an absolute masterpiece. This one falls flat on its face in a hole in the ground 6 feet deep.

    Parte meu coração escrever isso, mas eu realmente não esperava uma história tão ruim depois de todos esses anos de espera. Enquanto houve alguns momentos genuinamente bons, a maioria dos jogos se encheu de buracos na trama.

    the story is nonsensical at best, pretentious at worst and the self-insertion of the director is absurd. they try to paint it as a "revolutionizing, groundbreaking, grown up experience" but end it up looking like a pretentious, unoriginal movie that try, and fail, to copy what other games did 15 years ago.

    After seven years we get a game that has a cast of extremely unlikeable new characters, the gameplay sure as hell is no magnum opus and an ending that makes season 8 of game of thrones look like a masterpiece. Some of the decisions made are completely irrational. There is no real feeling of survial horror in there.     Uninteresting new characters and a very poorly written plot in which they totally destroy all the great things that I loved about the first game. Shame on Niel Druckmann for ruining this game and he's taking Naughty Dog down a bad path.

The story is mind numbingly boring and exhausting, I’d argue that the gameplay has gotten worse somehow, and the graphics look about the same as tlou1 (not the remastered version). If you told me 2 years ago that this was tlou2, I’d call you an absoluteDamn those leaks weren’t kidding, but even then holy **** this is God awful.     I am honestly angry that this is even called a sequel. All the development, the trials and tribulations experienced by playing through the first game is tossed out the window less then five hours into the game.

And what Neil & woke clique give us after they fired especially talented writer Amy is this disgusting abomination. Favorite characters? Gone. Executed in cold blood by a guy in drag on steroids with a goddamn golf club. What makes it worse is that you get to play as the bloody murderer who bit Ellie's fingers off. Insanity. Naughty **** has gone insane and I believe Neil should be fired for this trainwreck, besides multiple complaints of his mistreatment of employees among other transgressions.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
