I just finished the game and Im giving this review the amount of care Naughty Dog gave The Last Of Us franchise. Part 2 is not worth your time or money. They destroy everything great about the first game and that's is all you need to know. What a waste of 30 hours for me. This is like Game of Thrones 2.0. #joelandelliedidnothingwrong #ellieisnotthevillian

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It was the story that carried the first game. The behaviour of Joel and Tommy from the start is just crazy and made no sense from their character traits in the first game. Even mixing a storyline of gender identity and transgenderism into the game was just sad, it only affects less than 1% of people in the world and yet they had to include a storyline about it! After all the sadness, death of friends Ellie finally has a peaceful life only to turn around and hunt Abbie down…. then lets her live? The game has no direction. The story should have been Joel finding Ellie after running away, then saving her by holding back the rat king in an epic battle. God i hope they don’t make the second season of the last of us anything like the second game because i simply will not watch. Expand

Part 1 was my favorite game of all time. I absolutely loved the characters and everything about it. Part 2 destroyed everything I loved about the first game. I hated playing this game, played it all the way through thinking it would get better but it never did. The story is almost as bad as the characters themselves. Gameplay gets boring, basically nothing changed from the first game… maybe a few new guns and that’s it. I think Naughty Dog wanted to go for shock value or something, but the plot points are obnoxiously forced. Worst of all you are forced to do terrible things as a well liked character and then they force you play as a terrible villain character with no character arc or any likeable qualities. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Such a fall from grace for Naughty Dog. Expand

It is also useful to look at it from this perspective.

Also, as proof of what I said, women who grew up under the pressure of men in a way that they could not display natural behavior behave masculine, popular culture and adolescents think that all women dress and act like women. There is really no difference in the game made for people, they understand that this game is really no different from what they see in life, human relations, etc. situations because the psychology of upbringing changes people, the environmental factor makes women this way, this environmental factor is the last point in the game, I have observed in my own life, grown up under pressure. women act like men, if anyone experiences and observes this, they will make a positive criticism anyway. In his opinion, an intelligent person who has created a game completely reflecting his thoughts will immediately notice this situation. Congratulations, the game is heavy, not for people who do not know the truth. There is a mindset that wants the game to be Apex.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As a standalone game it is not bad but as a sequel to one of the best games of all time this is simply awful.

    There's a lot of plotholes:

So Joel murders almost everyone at the hospital yet they keep their identities?
There's even a note in game of someone who changes their identity to escape from a cult.

Ellie and Tommy living when Joel dies, I get the group discuss it but why was the possibility of people trying to save Joel not discussed before hand.
Also why did Abby's group decide to spare them, as if Joel's own brother wouldn't hunt you down until his dying days?

When they send people out to find Tommy, three teenagers can go even though Abby came down with about 10 people.

To play as Abby when it initially felt like the end was a good turn but dragging out all that time with a player you didn't care for and in fact hated was flawed (clearly designed to generate sympathy which given the reviews it didn't work, we should have played as Abby to start the game in order for us to build a rapport.)

The absolute off chance that Abby would bump into the 1 trans seraphite and then immediately form a bond with him that extends her story by umpteen hours.
I am a fan of the lgbt representation and the visible nature of the lesbian storyline for Ellie and Dina is a brilliantly shown relationship, that isn't grotesquely over sexualised like other women in games but that Abby bumps into the 1 Trans seraphite?

The feasibility of a 13 year old who spent their entire life on a remote island, raised by a murderous cult, cut off from whatever is left on the mainland knows and identifies as trans? There are many ways to have added logic to how Lev came to this decision, like perhaps an older seraphite who lived in the old world has come out as trans or Yara finds a book on LGBT, yet none were taken.

I just find it very hard that a 13 year old would run away from the safety of a cult, (even if it's a death cult), and try and live in a 'zombie' infested city, literal life and death.

You are supposed to care for Abby and Owen's relationship but it's never explained how it ended or how he ended up with Mel.

So Joel has survived over 2 decades in this world yet makes the mistake of admitting his real identity, and then Ellie also forgets the map? Why do they all forget basic survival techniques?

What is the point of the rattlers keeping Abby prisoner?
It's not explained if the firefly house was a ruse or if it was legit and what they even do with the prisoners (surely it's not hard to have a bit of slave labour or someone thrown to a chained clicker).
Then the ending is nonsensical, after 20-30 hours why on earth would we be happy with not killing Abby and finishing the main reason we are doing all of this?

Generally how can I headshot a brute and they don't die instantly? I get they're supposed to be these massive people with a sledgehammer but no human will take 2 point blank shotgun shells to the chest before they die, at least given them some armour.
Shamblers were a very nice enemy imo, especially where there were 2 at once.

Why can we carry only 2 clips of ammo per gun, no one will have 'FULL' pockets in an apocalypse.

Gameplay is what you would expect, sounds are great, tense atmosphere.
The media doesn't always have to have a happy ending, (look at avengers and everyone we lost over those 2 movies), but make it a logical one.

Even a simple ending of Lev begging Ellie to stop attacking Abby, and Ellie looks at him only to see herself in Lev and realise what she has become makes more sense than this.
I personally would have had Abby dodge a knife attack from Ellie which results in Ellie falling and stabbing Lev in the shoulder and Abby goes straight to tending the wound rather than retaliate against Ellie, at which point it dawns on Ellie everything she and Abby have lost on this journey and how Lev represents a breaking of that cycle.

Like I said at the start, as a standalone video game it is good but as part of a series it flat out is illogical and poorly written, and the revenge is bad story is overdone and sucks if there aren't enough stories which balance it out by showing that revenge doesn't fill that hole after it is taken. Too often the 'humanity' kicks in before the climax, as if we haven't murdered 100s to get to this point.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. One of the most incredible stories ever told in the medium. This game will break your heart, make you sick to your stomach, enrage you, but its all in service of a story that is unforgettably emphatic.

Here's my breakdown of the three groups of people that hate this game: idiots, bigots, and rational people.

Idiots: there are some people who can't comprehend the concept that the death of a beloved character can often serve the narrative more than their prolonged existence. Joel's death is meant to make you furious and depressed, and these idiots took that as an excuse to get mad at the developers, instead of the characters who did it. I like many people, felt the latter, which made for the perfect fuel for a revenge narrative. There are people who think Joel should have gone out in some blaze of glory, sacrificing himself for Ellie, probably quipping like some **** Marvel movie. These people missed the entire point of the series. There are no happy endings. No heroes send-off. Joel DID get a terrible death, which traumatizes Ellie even more, and the same is true for the player. The death they gave Joel was sickening, and that's the point. I cannot understand how so many people are so mad about this in such a dumb way. Yes be mad that someone died. Sometimes that happens, sometimes it seems unfair, sometimes it leaves you in anguish. That's what you're supposed to feel.

Bigots: Let's not pretend. A large portion of all the negative reviews, and most negative opinions of the game, are because of some supposed "woke agenda". Ellie calls a homophobe a bigot, and apparently that's "woke". So is two female characters. So is a lesbian couple raising a child. So is a child questioning their gender. These inclusions were done so naturally and inoffensively that you would have to be a bigot to be upset by them. People are mad that Abby is jacked, as if you wouldn't train to be a killer if you sought out revenge for your father. People are mad that there's a twist at the end of Abby's story that Lev is trans, as if there wouldn't be any nonbinary people in the apocalypse. I can understand if they really ham-fisted it in, and said some garbage about being trans and strong, or making some comments about girl power or how women are stronger than men or something. But they didn't. This very much was a game with very complex characters that just happened to be diverse. The diversity was hardly a focal point. Even Lev's journey is more about family, spirituality, and defiance, than about being trans.

Rational people: Now art is subjective, so obviously there are many reasons why people might like or dislike something. And there are plenty of people who didn't like this game that are justified. There are a few issues that even I have to acknowledge. Firstly, this is a very, very long game. Its pretty much 2 games in one. And a lot of people have commented on the pacing being an issue. While I found the story intensely captivating, and could hardly put down the controller when I first played it, there were still plenty of people who commented on the slow nature of some sections, especially Seattle Day 1 on Ellie's side. If a game with a long runtime that takes a while to conclude is not your cup of tea, you may not enjoy this game all the way through, but I loved it. I think the pacing of combat, exploration, and story was brilliant, and well organized. But yeah some sections are slow, and there's a lot of opening empty drawers for the sake of realism.
There are also people who dislike the constant jumping around, to different locations without much build up. While I liked the long journey of the first game, I think it would be kinda boring to do it again. Also some people don't like the combat, but i think its the best Naughty Dog has made yet. Its so satisfying and precise, and getting headshots is especially satisfying when there's so few bullets. As a more grounded shooter (not one with crazy sci-fi or fantasy elements) I think its the best of its kind. I'm sure there are plenty of other small details too, but I can't imagine them being such dealbreakers that they would ruin the game at all. Every game has flaws, but I think these are some of the major ones.

Lastly, I just wanna say, If you really did play to the end of the game, and still want Abby to die, then there's something wrong with you. By every objective metric, Abby is no more guilty or deserving of death than Ellie or Joel. Ellies revenge story is literally the same as Abby's. Joel killed her dad, and Abby killed Ellie's surrogate father. They are both justified, or neither of them are. And if you're problem is that Abby is a bad person, then so is Joel. He was a cold blooded murderer who stole and tortured and likely doomed the entire human race. Either they're both evil, or neither of them are. Abby is a bad person, but everyone in this world is.

This game is a masterpiece, stop whining.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I love the original last of us, honestly one of the best games. I’m just pretending Part 2 didn’t happen though.

If Joel had to die I just wish it was done in a different way. When I finished part 2 I felt that his death was cheap and I was forced to try to sympathise with Abby, when I hated every moment I had to play as her. So half the game was terrible.

Joel saved her life then she just killed him without warning, that’s psychopathic. Yes Joel killed her father, but he was trying to save Elly because he didn’t want to lose another daughter. And her father did pull a knife on him, so I felt that more justified than what Abby did.

Joel killed out of an act of love, and Abby killed out of an act of revenge. That’s why I will never sympathise with her.

Joel killed out of love because he didn’t want Elly to die, and there was clear warning beforehand. Abby killed out of hatred for Joel without warning. Joel didn’t even know who she was. Like Joel, her motivation was selfish as well, and worse she dragged her friends into it.

I hated every moment I had to play as Abby and was left disappointed by the games narrative choices, and it ultimately ruined the game for me.

"The Last of Us Part 2" is a visually stunning game that offers a variety of thrilling elements such as stealth gameplay and action sequences. However, the game's story is not always logical and there are several plotholes that can be frustrating for players. The game features several characters whose choices and actions are often illogical, and this contributes to the overall sense of the story being implausible.

One of the most criticized aspects of the game is the portrayal of the main villain Abby. At the beginning of the game, her actions are borderline psychopathic as she murders "a man" in front of "a young woman", who is practically his daughter, while she is literally begging for his life. The motivations and reasons behind her actions are no excuse for the murder as the wronging indirectly done by "the man" to her were in some ways a legal and ethical duty of "said man". Later in the game, the developers try to make players like her and agree with her by portraying her as a nice person. Additionally, players are forced to play as Abby for half the game, which can be difficult for players who find her character unsympathetic.

The game is heavily criticized for attempting to force the developer's ethical views and beliefs, concerning life and death situations in a post-apocalyptic world, onto the player through the character of Abby. The game tries to make players like and sympathize with Abby despite her unjustifiable actions, leading to a feeling of manipulation and lack of agency for the players.

The game's portrayal of sensitive themes and its treatment of certain characters has also been criticized for being insensitive and tone-deaf.

Overall, "The Last of Us Part 2" is a game that boasts impressive graphics and solid gameplay mechanics, but is let down by its illogical story, plotholes, and its portrayal of sensitive themes. The game's attempt to force the developer's ethical views onto the player through the character of Abby and the manipulation of players' emotions makes it hard for players to fully engage with the story and characters. While it offers some thrilling elements, it ultimately fails to live up to the high standards set by the first game in the series.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I felt this game had great potential to be a masterpiece. Coming off the last game, I was expecting a whole new story that will carry me through a story of great loss and remembrance. but instead we got something completely different. We got a story about how revenge can negatively impact the revenge taker. Which is where my problems with the game take shape. The people in my family that have played this game before and after me have also expressed how they felt that they didn't want to play as Abby in the game. They felt she was given too many good weapons, too many good scenes that could have been given to Ellie. But most importantly, they felt they should not be playing as the person who killed Joel, the player you play as in the majority of the previous game. They expressed how they should have been playing as Ellie the entire time and taking revenge against Abby. Not playing as Abby trying to hunt down Ellie. (There is even a scene in the theater in which you have to sneak around and try to attack Ellie, which felt weird as you would think it should have been the other way around. ) I have to agree with my family's input as it did feel weird to be playing as essentially the antagonist of the game for half the game. That's how the best scenes in the game are usually the ones with Ellie. (Such as the museum scene.) Story aside however, graphics in the game are stunning, with the usual Naughty Dog flare. Game-play was OK as they didn't really innovate from the previous game (with the exception of the dodge and prune mechanic). But I have to say that the enemy AI is really good in the game as they will try and flank you any chance they got. But altogether, if they want to improve next time, they shouldn't put in a new character that nobody knows, who kills the main protagonist of the last game, and expect people to play as that character for half the game. I bought it but only played a few hours before I uninstalled the game because things didn't go exactly the way I (along with the fan base who childishly review bombed this game) wanted.

After the ps5 update came out I decided to give it a try again with an open mind. Although story pacing is not perfect, I really did enjoy and fluidity of the gameplay, the beautiful graphics decided that overall I really enjoyed the game.

The story was very bleak, and brutal but I felt in encapsulated the world of the last of us several years after the first game. I'd say if you're even slightly interested in playing part II, give it a try and see for yourself whether or not you like it.

(but for real rating a game ZERO is ridiculous lol, sometime the story doesn't always go the way you for the protagonist but there is no denying that this is a polished game) Cheers and thanks for reading :)

How a game which was a masterpiece (TLOU part 1) turned into this vomit of a game. This is beyond me. Please remake this joke.

It's not my game to say or have the story the way I wanted , I just can give a feeling to what the game made me feel . First , to be professional, a lot of fans are right , for those who played of course, the game got ruined because of the propaganda. If there was no propaganda, no agenda , then they would have concentrated more on the story and the main plot , which was the virus , the outbreak, the cure , the problem, and not their own agenda . You can't force people to accept things they don't want , and you can't force people to reject what they accept , so leave your values and agenda to yourself , and make a game that is for strictly fun reasons only , a game is supposed to be well made and enjoyed , and without delivering any messages . So while the game had so much potential to get a 10/10 , gameplay is a solid 9.5/10 , a few tweaks would do a charm , the story is very far away from the main plot , it had nothing to do with the infection , a cure , dealing with the problems , running away , regrouping and forming some sort another solution " NADA " . So it is a bad game , and I don't mind sad endings , eventually if the game makes you feel sad then that's the purpose of it , but the game did not discuss the main problem , they had to make abby for this to work and ruin the main game . It's like a game of vengeance and learning lessons that revenge is bad , but that ain't the last of us anymore , an entirely different game . Expand

This is arguably the most staggeringly deep games I've ever played. The swath of 0/10 and 1/10 scores written by boys who don't know what to do with their dEeP FeELIngS, while simultaneously accusing Naughty Dog of poor writing, is ironic and pitiable.

Facing the consequences of your actions from TLOU1 and experiencing the impact of the (at best) morally dubious actions taken by Joel bring a depth to this story that was necessary to elevate it beyond standard survival horror fare. The difficulty in letting go of a difficult past and questioning our actions are themes which the game forces you to confront. Boys who want to remain in their hugbox with daddy figure Joel will resist it and lash out, blaming perceived external flaws rather than examining themselves.

Many (likely most) of the negative reviews never played the game. The shallow complaints about the visibility of LGBT characters displays an antiquated understanding of the world. (Oh no, one minor character character who happens to be trans?? The horror.) The lack of understanding that Joel was a well-developed character, but not an unequivocally good person, is prevalent. "I like Joel, so anyone who opposes him is bad," is the gist of their argument.

Read a book, boys. Travel somewhere foreign. Get accustomed to being outside of your comfort zone and see how much you can learn about empathy before you die. If you played TLOU1 when it came out, you're an adult now. Act like one.

It's been said many times, but the story isn't just uninspiring, it's infuriating. To see Joel killed so early on just took the wind out of me. Then I'm expected to play as Joel's killer for about ten hours halfway through the game. The more I played with her, the more I couldn't wait to see Ellie bury a hatchet in her forehead. It was impossible to feel empathy for her, even if her mad scientist dad bought it from Joel. And the cherry on top, right when we're about to get the payoff and see her die (really the plot point driving the whole game), we let her go. I was baffled beyond belief... flummoxed you might even say. Every time the story should have zigged, it zagged. It's like a cruel joke seven years in the making. People from ND need to explain this better (which, like playing as Abby, will never be satisfactory). Expand

    Story - 7/10
The story is OK. Definitely not as good as the first game. The story was actually going pretty good up until the Abby portion. I know what the writers were trying to convey, but by us playing as Abby for what seemed like forever, it seemed to diminish the anger we had from Joel's death. And it wasn't because I started to see things from Abby's side. It was because we were focusing so much on her that I started to forget about Joel. Abby's story was kind of boring.

I was hoping for a happy ending, but I understand why they didn't go that route and it doesn't affect my score. My score was affected by 2 things. The OK-ish story and the fact that they pulled an MGS2 on us.

    Now comes the easy part.
    Graphics - 10/10
Not alot needs to be said here. This is top tier stuff. How did they get the lips to move so well?

    Sound - 10/10
Again. Not alot to be said. The score was fantastic. Sound effects were great and made me flinch many times.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

Nada que soma e contribui com o universo criado de The Last of Us.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Honestly, the game is really good. The graphics are impressive even 5 years after it's release, especially when it comes to face expression and details. My only problem with it is the story, and NO, I'm not talking about Joel being killed in the first 2 hours. My biggest problems with it's ending.

Basically after going a rampage for about 15 hours looking for Joel's murderer, Ellie decides to have a family with her girlfriend, Dina, and her son. If you ask me, that would've been the perfect ending for Ellie, where she realizes that revenge wouldn't make her feel any better, and how all that **** is behind her now, but she decides to go after Abby again, making the game 3-4 hours longer than it needed to be.
All of that culminates in Ellie fighting Abby, letting her go, going back home and realising her family moved away.
All of that makes you feel that all of the time you spent on the game was completely thrown away. I even thought the game would still carry on after that part because it just doesn't feel like an ending at all if you ask me. But it's still a good game at the end of the day.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. TLOU pt 2 is a great game, when you take a step back, everything makes sense. For example, a see a lot of people pissed off that Ellie didn't kill Abby, but this makes sense. She saw that Abby had Lev, and she knew that Abby was to Lev like Joel was to Ellie. I'm not saying that the ending couldn't have been done better, but as to why she spared her, it makes sense. As for people complaining that Joel died and how pissed off they are, that's the point. ND wants you to be pissed off, they want you to be as mad as Ellie is, and it becomes this slow burn of seeing Ellie become a monster, killing tons of humans, all in the name of vengeance, and if anything, it makes Ellie just as bad if not worse than Abby.

As for playing as Abby, this is important. I don't believe ND is trying to get you to feel bad for Abby per se, just trying to humanize her in the same way as Ellie, showing that Abby and Ellie are more similar than different in some ways. It shows that they both are human, but also vengeful people, and that they are both awful people in general.

It sucks in the first 30 mins joel is dead, on top of that, ellie goes about getting revenge ONLY for you to play as the killer of joel. At first it was a wtf moment, and i hated it. Then i kept playing and realised dying didnt change the fact i needed to play as abby. I saw what they were going for and why they did that i just dont think it needed to be so long with her. Right now 2 days out after finishing i wish ellie killed her but understand why she didnt. In the moment when she saw joel and he was happy ,that flash back as part of the ptds set her free and she let abby go free to find the fireflys. I really dont see good and bad in this game, characters are doing what they need to , to survive. People forget the ambush by the bus in #1 joel saying # ive been on the otherside" when ellie asks how did he known they were under attack. The decision to play again is being held back right now by knowing ellie losing everything at the end, her fingers, her "wife" her "potatoe amd of course Joel. I hope they do another game and close it out. Does ellie go looking for the fireflys that abby found on the radio, im sure word gets back to them and tommy being a former firefly, recently divorced, he might tag along. The mechanics in the game are the same as the first. Same keys, same annimation when ellie does a stealth kill, though they do expand the tree to let you get more skills. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. For those expecting me to talk trash about this game and what happened to Joel, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to disappoint y'all because I really do see The Last of Us Part 2 as a masterpiece and dare I say better than the first. Right off the bat, I can start off by saying even if I never played this game and don't know how to defend it, the way how people decided to talk trash about it and sending death threats to Neil Druckmann and Laura Bailey is honestly all I need since at that rate, you're just being just like Abby and will just be ignored. But I can understand y'all don't like the game but that's what I want to go over
    1. Joel's death: So people nowadays say Joel was disrespected since there's no way he'd reveal his name to a bunch of strangers and lower his guard to allow himself to die so easily and quickly. So right off the bat, Abby was always going to kill him even if no one else in that room knew since Tommy already spilled out both of their names earlier so it didn't matter Joel said his name again. Secondly, I would argue he WASN'T killed off so cheaply when he lowered his guard like that since that's exactly what happens when a man has lived 4 years with everything he ever wanted, a girl he considered his daughter, a home full of security, a place where he's seen as a hero for crying out loud, or even the fact he's trusted strangers before like Henry and Sam. Plus, there's even how he doesn't scream or beg for mercy, he knows what's about to happen and never regrets it to the end and he's all around the game, just not the priority.
    2. The games characters: people say that you could replace these characters for someone else and it wouldn't make a difference, so right off the bat, I can agree with that statement ONLY for Manny, Owen, Jesse, Yara, and Mel; everyone else I would argue are on par with Part 1's amazing cast. Like I found Lev relatable and I was glad he stayed with Abby to be the Joel and Ellie we missed in the first game, Dina was surprisingly good at her role since I actually prefer her relationship arc over Ridley's when she supports Ellie and then decides to leave her since all what she saw in her at the time was a druggie who couldn't quit, Tommy failing to accept "enough was enough", and while I didn't care Owen and Mel died since their characters weren't fleshed out enough for me to, I was shocked to see them call out on Abby and telling the truth to her face revealing they couldn't take it when she decided vengeance is the key way to make things right just like Jesse and Dina (kinda) did to Ellie.
3: Claiming the game was sponsering SJW and the LGBTQ+ community: right off the bat, people who put this arguement don't even know what they're saying since the reason Abby is this muscular is because she chose to workout constantly for the pursuit of Joel over Owen and her friends
4:Pacing is terrible: right off the bat, I'm not arguing with that since the story was absolutely all over the place and something I actually pointed out in my "The Last of Us Remastered" review but there's also how this drags on a little too long but that honestly never bothered me since at least it wasn't as bad as Days Gone and I wanted to see how it could come to a proper end
5: Terrible ending: So I can understand what people mean by this when Ellie spares Abby but at the same time, those people weren't paying attention since throughout the entire game, Ellie feels like she had her purpose taken away from her when Joel saved her from that hospital and that her life is meaningless and that's what drives people to do horrible things like Ellie going after Abby one last time, but the real reason Joel saved her is because she believed her life has a purpose and he wants her to live to her best which is why he said he'd save her all over again if given another chance, and when Ellie was drowning Abby, she saw Joel not beaten up, but with their last conversation meaning she realizes that Joel wouldn't want her to throw away that life by some pointless vengeance and by sparing Abby, that's how she truly honors Joel.
So that's all the "negatives on this game" but there is an overwhelming amount of positives here like the improved shooting and gameplay allowing gameplay and combat to be way more satisfying than the first game and when I died, it felt fair and not cheated, next gen visuals even for a base PS4 (like no joke, this game looks genuinely incredible), excellent actor performances (especially props to Troy Baker and Laura Bailey), and immersive soundtrack. Overall, while I don't know if you will enjoy this game based off of what happened, I can definitely I strongly recommend it if you can ignore the pacing issues.

Really not worthy of the predecessor at least at the plot level

It looks like a mix between a soap-opera, a teen drama, a homosexual film ... all seasoned with some zombies ... a really bad and meaningless story.

There are reviews of people who I don't think even finished the game, the game is a premium gift for us gamers with brutally phenomenal graphics, every detail in the game is excellent.

Yes, I understand the story and seeing how Abby kills Joel and then making you play with our hero's murderer is something that you don't see much in video games, but little by little you understand how each person has a different story and Since sometimes we don't think that each head is a life seen from a different perspective and I loved that from tlof part 2- .

I think it was not a game for everybody obviously because it could not please everyone but for me it is an excellent game, and on PS5 with 60 frames the game runs georgeous, I will give The Last of Us Part 2 a 10 out of 10

This is a Premium game for premium people not casual gamers, awesome game with outstanding graphics, sound
    and gameplay. Chef kiss **

Eu adorei.

Having played this game two years after it was released I must say I don't understand the bad reviews.
Everything in this game is awesome.
I really like the history and the main characters!

Even Big Rigs (over the road racing) is better than this.
i do not even know what they were thinking... i mean killing Joel was cruel and unjustified and i want Abby (Abbey... i do not know) to disappear from that universe. The game is still bugged to the point that you can not play it (two years later)

i will accept this game only if it was a joke but apparently it is not...

    i am very disappointed...

I’m not sure where the negative review-bombing is coming from, but The Last of Us series is the best series I’ve ever played!

I just finished the second part yesterday and it is was one hell of a ride! Apart from the awesome graphics and the technical uplift from the first game, I really liked the original story with a lot of plot twists.

    Kudo’s to Naughty Dog!

This game advances with the story in a way that nobody wants, we all want our beloved characters to continue their development, but this changes after joel's death, even so while you advance with a sour taste you begin to understand the message he wants to give and you start to feel a new taste, the way the story is carried out fits perfectly with the world of the last of us, a world where nobody is special, there is no hero who will never die, we are all equal and we all have a story behind us, and everything can be refuted quickly. This game has been quite an experience and I personally think it's the best game around gameplay and story. The best thing is that I bought it for 9 dollars but if I had to buy it at the launch price I would do the same because it deserves to be spent after giving me more than 3 continuous days playing, it is true that it lasts less but if you give it time to get to know and explore the whole game you have for a while Expand

Honestly, I don’t get all the hate. Sure, it does not play it safe story wise and there are a couple segments that lack a bit, but, in general, I found it interesting and compelling. Made me feel things as a player, a bit like a Kojima game, and that’s rare in this medium. Not to mention the technical aspect, which is superb. They get a 1 because the graphics and game play were good. BUT THE STORY IS TERRIBLE!!! I was a huge fan of part 1 but Part 2 is embarrassing, I will probably not purchase Part 3 if it is ever developed. It just shows that the critics are out of touch with the general public.

This is not a game about the player.

It's not about our motivations, our decisions and beliefs. It's an action game, frantic or stealth, both fully immersive in a rich story. It's a game for you to live one avatar, not one... several! See the world and feel it through each one... The unfolding of history sometimes forces us to do things we don't want to. I literally let go of

It's a game for you to live one avatar, not one... several! See the world and feel it through each one...

The unfolding of history sometimes forces us to do things we don't want to.
I literally let go of the controller and wanted to stop playing the last battle. It was a mixture of sadness, disappointment, swallowing tears, but the curiosity to know what awaited those beings that I loved so much, made me continue. My girlfriend cried horrors! Feelings I've never experienced so strongly in a game, but sometimes in movies.

That inability to control the personalities of the characters we love. How many times do we curse them... apart from so many others that we are heartbroken with sadness. Rare are the moments of joy and warmth... This is the world we experience here. What a mix of sensations. Great!

The cruelty of the world of TLOU can only be assimilated by those who allow it to be felt through the characters. That's right, undress your beliefs, they didn't guide you here.

I saw so many negative reviews, criticizing the developers' decision to force the player to see both sides of the coin... "Dude!" - As Ellie would say - "**** up all of them".
They didn't realize the wit of the script. In the second part of the game, literally, you have to collect coins. And we can't rotate them, we only see one side! Hello?? Didn't get the reference?
It's not about loving or hating a character.

This game is not about you!
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and we're all going to the grave.
The epic ending to a story as traumatic as life itself.

Thanks to the creators! I can't wait for the HBO series!

I prefer the first one. The game is fun in someway but i didint like to play it. Maybe they try to more focus on PC and then can do better games. There is a big problem in this game and its a big hype balloon. Its nice to see that exploded! You can play for the story and nice story telling but thats all u can get.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
