The last of us part2, similar to its predecessor, is not your typical shoot enemies to win game, it is a "gaming experience" that will guide you through a journey in a post-apocalyptic world, a world cruel and mercyless, where everyone is looking to survive on the cost of everyone else, making it a world where there is no bad, nor good guys. Therefore, the game challenges your emotions and feeling as a player, because what makes something bad in your sense, may be good for someone else, and to understand that, TLOU will put you in the shoes of both ends, and in both scenarios you have nothing to do but face the world and expect the unexpected. This game is thus all about frustration, but unlike a dark souls or doom frustration due to a difficult boss that you can eventually beat, TLOU frustrates you because of how little you can do in this world, because of how small you are compared to everything else, to how little control you have over the main character's way of thinking, because yes, the character will think in a survival way and would not listen to you as a player sitting on a comfy couch behind a 4k screen, as I said, what makes sense to them might not make sense to you, and this caused a lot of people to hate on the game because the characters didn't make similar decisions as the player. This game is a story that vehicles hard emotions and strong opinions, it's a game that you just need to sit down and let it guide you into the uncharted territories of the post-apocalyptic world of the last of us part2, and some plot twist might seem complete non sense at first, it eventually makes sense, if you keep an open mind on the story, and not hate characters just because they did things that hurt you personally, because everyone in TLOU has a name and a story.     A game with extremely vulgar scenes, which are disgusting and are not credible. I want to play survival horror, not gay erotic game. I also don't like to play as a character and then as her enemy, I'm not a mercenary. I will not buy Naughty Dog games again until they change their strategy and stop these dirty games.

    Best thing about this game is rope's physics. Everything else is trash strarting with predictable storyline, dumb AI, awful level design. Don't waste your money on this unless you want your eyes and ears bleed after you see how they wrecked everything.

    At first you will play with Elle. You will work to build Elle’s character perks and weapons but you’ll never be able to max her out because you switch over to play the rest of the game as Abby, somewhere around the half-way point.

    Abby has her own weapons and perks, so it may feel like starting the game over from the beginning. Visually I enjoyed the game, but it doesn’t offer much else in the way of variety. There’s only one way to pass through an area. Even with one entrance and one exit, the game literally guides you through. If you’re taking too long searching for ammo, the game tries to give you on onscreen hint as to how to reach the next load point. There’s not much challenge to be found. There are a ton of playable story parts that have nothing to do with the present time. These moments last an average of 10 minutes and are especially slow because you won’t get to use your weapons or work toward building your stats. These flashbacks are usually some variation of following another character to listen to them talk. It felt like the studio didn’t have enough material so they threw in a few hours of playable-flashbacks to make the game feel longer. Couple those flashbacks with only playing the as same character for 10 hours and you’ve got yourself a boring experience. Overall I thought the story was well written but switching characters and losing all of my stats in the middle of the game was a terrible design choice. After grinding and searching each room to build up Elle’s perks—only to switch characters—made me lose all interest. I found myself not caring about Abby’s story and skipping most of her cinematics. Not worth much more than $5 or $10 IMHO.    … Expand

    My problem besides the story is the lack of end bosses and the variety of different zombies. It feels always the same. Over and over you do the same for 12 to 14 hours.

    4. Start from 1

    The Problem of the Story though. Man. They really don't want to do a Part III. They really don't.

    Besides of killing Joel, the lack of emotions between Ellie and Joel is ridiculous.
    They went to thick and thin in Part I and I understand the emotions Ellie had, but common man.
    It like your father. And Joel looked Ellie like her daughter. BUT THEY NEVER REALLY TALKED ABOUT THAT STUFF. That's annoying to me. The lack of emotions that they deserved. Went to all that **** in Part I. At the end of Part I Joel would react the same, because even there would be a cure Ellie would die. He would lose his 2nd daughter. They didn't get the chance of developing what they deserved.

    Even when the **** story ended like this. Why Ellie didn't expressed her feelings or emotions with some words. They cut the scenes. But 14 hours of doing the same is alright.

    It's reminds me of the maker of Sherlock Holmes who killed Sherlock in his book, because he got annoyed by him. Just later to revive him because the **** hit the fan. Feels the same with the last of us.

    When Part III is happening I won't play it. Everything what made The Last of Us amazing is raped. I hoped somebody else would have made the story.    … Expand

Everybody is bad in TLOF world, and that does not mean we have to care if it has other "good people" to care about, except for Ellie and Joe. Naughty Dog said for 7 years that TLOF Part 2 would be another adventure with Ellie and Joe, so we can say that they lied. They forget that videogame is not a movie. It is nice when games have a movie style, but it still not a movie. 60 dollars for Ellie and Joe, and you get Abby, and a bunch of people that I do not even remember their names, because I do not care about then.
