    The first one was a trash pile but this one takes it to a whole new terrible level. Gone are the glorious days of the 2007-2011 Naughty Dog years. Now they embrace mediocracy and pandering.

    Naughty dog let player playing Abby, meeting Abby’s father trying to save a zebra, but want to kill Ellie who was a normal human 1 minuter later. Fu*king Naughty Dog who forces player to play this bit*h a long long time from Seattle Day 1!
    Naughty Dog made this did nothing but just to torture his fans. Naughty Dog was even trying to make fans start liking Abby by playing with dogs which Ellie killed? Torturing us by humanizing the one that brutally murdered our favourite character. The author needed to go to psychiatric hospital!

    Fu*k Naughty Dog!!! Why Ellie don't use the shotgun to revenge when she was in the pillar??!! Why the flashback came out when that bit*h was almost going to die????

And no, I'm not leaving a negative reviews just because Joel is killed. Many of us already saw it coming since pt. 1. It's the false advertising. Also, the story is meh.     It turned out again that "Last of Us" was definitely a masterpiece.

    This is the worst story game I've ever seen!! Many people buy this game is because of Part 1, but this game is definitely not friendly to Part 1 fans. This game's story is terrible in every way!!! But the gameplay is ok. Hope Naughty Dog can find their problem and improve it. And please don't put so many political right elements in 1 game. Lesbians? it’s not a problem - I don’t care about their sexuality you go for it girls. But...the death of a main character needs avenging and now I get no choice but to say I forgive you. I don’t forgive you and I certainly don’t forgive naughty dog and Sony. As far as I’m concerned, I payed as Ellie and loved it. I played as Abbie, got killed and that’s the real ending.     I have played this game and I was so disappointed, I played the first one too and I can say that the gameplay was indeed improved from the first one; but the writers just basically shat all over TLOU story by you know what happened on it, so it's the worst videogame ever and doesn't deserve a GOTY at all.

    Playing half the game as Abby, the person hunting Joel/Ellie, makes absolutely zero sense. We all paid $60 to play as Joel/Ellie and find a conclusion to their epic journey.     If you like a poorly adapted rendition of Homer’s Iliad where clearly the director at Naughtydog didn’t really get the original classic, then this is your game! It does have good graphics though so I guess that’s a redeeming part of the cutscene with some gameplay sprinkled in whatever you want to call this medium. It’s certainly no game that’s for sure. This should really have been a TVIf you like a poorly adapted rendition of Homer’s Iliad where clearly the director at Naughtydog didn’t really get the original classic, then this is your game! It does have good graphics though so I guess that’s a redeeming part of the cutscene with some gameplay sprinkled in whatever you want to call this medium. It’s certainly no game that’s for sure.     It get a zero for simply treating its player base with absolute giggling contempt, they had their chance to fix it, they were warned they should and still chose not to.
    You wanna tell a story with a female lead, Fine!
    You want a character to get hit with karma, fine!
    You DON'T make it into a glorified torture porn scene just to spit in people's faces.

    Very terrible writing, gameplay sucks. If you like watching movies this game is for you as there is more cutscenes then gameplay.

    This game is arguably one of the worst things to happen in 2020, and that's saying something. I honestly hate Last of Us Part II, I literally get so mad when it gets brought up or I think about it. We absolutely loved the first game and we thought the story went in a good understanding direction, but then you get to part two and it voids everything that happened. We got about 75% of the way through the game and had to stop because we couldn't take it. We looked up the ending and we were shocked about how far they took it. Worst game I've ever played and worst way to end a franchise (and that's saying something when starwars is out there). We now I vented, I hope this game was better for you, but I still can't even think about it.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. bit late for this review but i realised i should write something to atleast vent, and so i think the only way to describe this game is depressing and this game did to the last of us series what season 8 of game of thrones did to that series, everything that made the series good was stripped and the charcters that we loved from the first game got treated like trash cause "reasons" like cmon if you wanted a female lead just use ellie dont make us play this new trash charcter WHO JUST MURDERS BLOODY JOEL LIKE AN ANIMAL and yet we are supposed to like her realy, and if thats not even the worst of it ellie another beloved charcter gets treated like crap cause revenge is bad for her, yet for abby nah its all good nice message there, i truly dont give a flying f if they wanted to change protags and have a female lead but use the one people loved ie ellie everyone would have praised that, or hell if you wanted to have this new charcter have us actully grow to like her before you have her murder joel so then youd actully get that "crap whos in the right" if you did that i may have still been excited for a 3rd game

    now moving away from the points already said a million times, the games story is nothing but a damm slog from depressing to depressing with zero levity, and in the end the game leaves you hollow to the point you dont want another game, the charcters are terrible and some are generic, our new "hero" is just bland she does nothing that makes her intresting well other then murdering joel o and having the cringeist sex scene i have ever seen and thats saying alot, i mean this **** as much as defenders claim aint sexual cause it aint p--no style are lieing cause you see full nudity and thrusting sure you dont see the bottom half but you can still see whas happening without that

    ill admit this game did atleast add more when it came to the gameplay so ill give it a point there but to be honest its basiclly adding onto somthing that was already decent so id givve half a point if i could, though should add the ai was weird somtimes it was great, other times it was as dumb as rocks, and i guess well make the other half be if you make your own fun it can be enjoyable i know i had fun hullk smashing with bodybuilder abbys arms

    so in summary this is a **** game, its story is terrible, the charcters are trash and downright insulting, the gameplay is slightly improved but not by much, and graphics are ok, and it defintly didnt deserve the rewards it got, and honesty the last of us is only a single game the first one thats where the series ends, this game deserves to go in only 1 place the trash,do not play this game unless you like getting your balls kicked    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
