    The game is not very good, I am bored during the battle, artificial intelligence sometimes does not work well, there are almost no men in the game, only chicks with guns, it's funny to watch ... And the plot ... He didn't interest me too much ... For me, the game turned out to be so myself, so I put 5 out of 10.

    GOTY 2020 total BS. It has good graphics and that's about it. The rest of the game is so bad it's not even worth talking about, particularly the plot which is the worst I've ever seen in a video game. It's embarrassing this game got GOTY when both FF7 remake and Ghost of Tsushima did everything better.

    This game made me feel many emotions, and live through each character's plot. The plot makes you think a lot, and you really start thinking "Who's the actual villain here?" Besides, the graphics are just unbelievable. That's what you call a 2020 graphic standard, and it is one of the most beautiful games ever made. The only thing is that there is a lot of political propaganda(LGBT) thatThis game made me feel many emotions, and live through each character's plot.     Nunca se van a poder redimir. Lamentablemente The Last of Us 2 va a ganar cómo el mejor juego del año ignorando las reseñas de miles de fans enojados y decepcionados porque a esta industria solo le importa el dinero.
    Neil druckmann no está preocupado en lo más mínimo de las críticas porque ya le compraron el juego. Eso es lo único que les importa.
    Tampoco está bien que los fans insulten al personal y a los actores que dieron vida a este fiasco . Pero lo que es inaceptable es que Neil Druckmann como vicepresidente de Naughty Dog insulte nuestra inteligencia y desvíe las quejas con faltas de respeto a los seguidores en ves de llamar al diálogo y escuchar atentamente la opinión de los fans para ver como arregla el problema.

    But this game, oh boy.
    I absolutely loved first game, it was one of best games I ever played. And I played a lot.
    And second is also fantastic but only from technical aspect. Graphics, gameplay, weapons, physics are fantastic.
    But story is such crap I can't believe it. It's nothing more then advancing LGBT agenda. They used one of the most popular games to promote LGBT, transgender characters etc. It seems like it was written by bunch of male haters. Killing Joel, common? One of the most loved characters ever?
    But ok, I could live with that but then game forced you to play with person who killed him. For half of the game!? WTF? I was really disgusted with that concept. And in the end, when you finally have chance to kill that disgusting character game writers are letting her go?! Really?! **** really!? They even don't leave choice in killing her or let her go, just one, disappointing end.
    I have advice for all who loved first game, when you come to part where Abby comes to theater save your progress manually. And then leave Ellie to kill Abby over and over again. It was most enjoyable moment in whole game. You can finish it later but trust me, save that spot. The game wouldn't end the way you like it.
    This LGBT trend started long ago with movies and series but they leaved games out of it.
    Unfortunately, now they go to game turfs also. It started with that Uncharted expansion The lost legacy, that was so, so, but in this game it's clear what they wanted. Male heroes gone and introducing female characters and LGBT agenda. Nothing more.
    Disgusting trend.
    I would think again when I would buy another Naughty dog game again.

    Com certeza um dos melhores games que já joguei, além de todos os quesitos técnicos serem 10/10, foi a primeira vez que senti na pele oq é uma história profunda de verdade, uma história que consegue te destruir, é um verdadeiro misto de sensações toda vez que vou jogar, esse game me marcou de uma forma do qual nenhum outro antes conseguiu, de fato um dos jogos da década.

Apart from its amazing and eye widening and Jaw Dropping graphics and Ok gameplay The Last of Us Part 2 is a failure at storytelling with everything getting worse and worse. Making you feel utterly empty at the end of the game with everyone practically losing everything and gaining barely anything at all. The Last of Us Part 2 also lied to us in its advertisement for example: Joel is seen and should’ve been alive during game is instead killed brutally and disrespectfully in front of Ellie and our eyes by an overly buff cartoonish woman named Abby who’s father, The doctor at the end of the first game, was killed by Joel who was just saving because who couldn’t lose another daughter and a second chance at being a father. This, apart the Ellie fight when your forced to play as Abby, was probably one the worst things I’ve had to watch and unfortunately play for the sake of this review. Abby although arguably the worst video game character ever created has little character and doesn’t look past her previous actions and the game forces you, for 10 HOURS, too like her this doesn’t work for a number of reasons. 1. She killed Joel brutally in front us, 2. Her backstory is shown way to late in the game which still doesn’t make me care about her in the slightest, and 3. Naughty Dog just makes here arc the same as Joel and Ellie’s arc in first game by having her take care of Lev a transgender boy who was assigned a girl at birth but wants to be identified as boy. Now before we go any further I do not hate trans or LGBTQ people not in the slightest and although this is one of reasons people who like this game believe it’s why people hate it this is not that this is just about what Abby and Lev do in the story. There relationship AS A WHOLE is just, again, Joel and Ellie’s story all over again with it being definitely not as good as the first. Speaking of which let’s go back to Joel for a minute here. Joel is seen in this game as a bad person because he doomed humanity of a vaccine however he did that because he didn’t want Ellie to die he loved to much and any parent would do the same thing If their child was being sacrificed whether they wanted to or not. Plus these immediately went to work on Ellie without giving Ellie a chance to think about saving humanity for a vaccine possibly worrying that if she said no then they probably would’ve forced her to do it anyway. This shows that The Fireflies aren’t what we thought they were they are not good people but really who is there is no good or bad in The Last of Us universe it’s just who’s side we take and which is better and one we are comfortable with. Here they make so that Joel and Ellie are bad people and Abby and her Father were good because they save animals their nice to everyone and whatever even though the game forces you to kill Abby’s dog who you are forced to play with and is also not enjoyable. Also I’m going actually defend those who played the game and didn’t finish it because here’s thing: why are we going to continue playing something that’s just gonna to continue to disappoint us like why would they do that? You could say that’s no excuse or because you can fully understand something if you don’t see the whole thing but this is understandable if you think about it it’s really up to you. Actually let’s now talk about Understanding because a lot of people who like this game say that people who don’t like or hate this game don’t understand but here’s the thing: Just because something is understood and explained doesn’t make it automatically good even if it makes them look dumb or something we still have a right to decide if it’s still bad. I understand the message they are trying to give but I hate that they used The Last of Us Universe and Characters to tell that message because you don’t go from a game that was about “Even in the worst times their is still a chance for hope and happiness.” To then make a sequel about how “Revenge doesn’t solve anything and everyone is horrible.” That’s not how that you should do that it should’ve been about forgiveness and not this overly forced narrative. In conclusion, The Last of Us Part 2 failed at giving us a story and Characters we waited 7 years for to only have be disliked, forgettable, and killed. I honestly hope this games story is remade even if it’s not what we mostly asked for id take anything this dumpster fire of a story.… Expand

    The story however is a complete disaster. Killing one of the most beloved characters from the first game in an awfully disrespectful way is just not the way to go. In general, the story seems to be more focused on achieving certain political goals than actually narrating things that are of common sense.

    The game also contains disturbing sex scenes, which, first of all, makes me uncomfortable, but moreover makes me confused, as they don't seem to serve much purpose towards enhancing the narrative or building characters.    … Expand

This game has very good graphics, but the story is very bad and how they disrespect the first game of the saga (the last of us 2) because joel in the first game, he is awesome because he violates the zombie Apocalypse practically alone because ellie at the beginning it is useless and at the end of the 1 it starts to be useful and in the 2 it simply dies for group of teenagers with a golf club (what a **** death) and ellie is also a psychic to find him and where he is at first and sees his death, then you are forced to play with the woman who kills joel and ellie and at the end of 2 you don't kill abby and ellie says that joel wouldn't do that and it disrespects joel who killed everyone who messed with ellie and ellie couldn't kill… Expand

    Naughty Dog has been more bold and brutal than ever and has told a story that is as thrilling as hard to swallow. Other than that, the game just oozes quality in pretty much every aspect. It’s lengthy, it’s polished, it’s gorgeous to look and listen to. Masterpiece.

    Unsatisfactory ending for just about every character you loved in the first game. The only positive aspects of this game are the technical elements. The pacing of the story is a complete mess. Making edgy decisions for the sake of having a conversation should not be done in an established franchised with loved characters.

    I don't know how this game got so much hate. I'm not a fan of sjw movement on gaming industry either but the story was so dark and the acting was amazing. So much sadness on bothsides! Game was virtually bug free and stunning graphics. I was always contemplating whos the antagonist in this one.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I Started Off hating TLOU2 due to the the leaks and I was disappointed about Joel’s death as much as the next guy. But to me it served a good purpose as Ellie needed that drive to go get revenge. Now to the revenge. Many people said because she did not kill Abby at the end of the game, Ellie did not get “revenge”. I don’t think that was the case at all. She killed countless people and at the climax of it all, she found her humanity, just like Joel saving Abby. This story was not meant to be the same story as the first, they went on a limb and i enjoyed it. It is very divisive so I can see both sides of the argument but all in all I enjoyed it. I don’t want to take any more of your time than I already have so yeah...I will say though in the future I would like Naughty Dog to reframe from sad stuff lol I play video games to have fun not to cry. Good job though.… Expand

    I have played it and I just can say that it’s almost perfect technically, it’s very fun to play and (for me) it have an interesting history. The history is something personal and you can like it or not, it’s like Game of Thrones: it will make you feel bad and it wouldn’t give you what you expect or what you want. :)

    I absolutely love this game! Naughty Dog’s best work yet! The gameplay was just as fun as the gameplay in Uncharted 4. I love hearing the dialogue between the characters. Humanizes them. The characters themselves are done well, even the ones you’re supposes to hate. The details in this game were outstanding! I believe this game has the best amount of details than any other game this yearI absolutely love this game! Naughty Dog’s best work yet! The gameplay was just as fun as the gameplay in Uncharted 4. I love hearing the dialogue between the characters. Humanizes them. The characters themselves are done well, even the ones you’re supposes to hate. The details in this game were outstanding! I believe this game has the best amount of details than any other game this year and in general. It wasn’t perfect, but it was close.     An absolute masterpiece. A game with awesome gameplay and graphics, perfect music, outstanding acting performance, amazing and realistic facial animations, and a very engaging story. It makes you question why you love and hate certain characters and makes you go through a lot emotions with the characters. Absolutely amazing, definitely one of the best games ever made.

    As a story, it's a series of good ideas and characters that are muddled and inconsistent. As a game, it's a technical marvel with the most realistic graphics and fluid mechanics I've ever seen. It's a shame that the story is as botched as it is.

    I LOVED TLOU2 no matter what people may be saying .
    The narrative was one of the best i have EVER seen in a game . Abbys caracter was somethin just out of this word . But the story telling was with no doubt the best part of the game .

The new features they added are rarely used. However, the gameplay is still satisfying. It still gives you an epic feeling after clutching your way out of a group strong enemies with little to no ammo or weapons to fight back with. There is a major pacing problem in the gameplay for the first 6 hours or so. The first 6 hours are basically a long tutorial without that much gameplay. It did have an amazing story for half of that time but more gameplay would be appreciated. This game is the textbook example of a wasted potential.… Expand

    The gameplay is too enjoyable, I could spend hours playing without getting bored. The narrative does have a couple of defects, but the evolution of the characters are of another level, it feels very different from the first game, without leaving behind its own magnificent essence.
    Is one of the best game ever, and probably of the year, i'm more than satisfied.

They also tried to make give Abby-Lev relationship as much weight as the original duo, Joel-Ellie, but failed miserably first and foremost because that relationship developed in the span of three days or so, and that's kind of unrealistic. Abby going on a killing spree against the people she'd been living with most of her life, to protect a kid she's just met from a faction she's been conditioned to hate and trained to kill is definitely the cherry on top of this mess of a story. The pacing was all over the place, leaving you on a cliffhanger for almost half of the game. Characters making stupid and highly questionable choices, as if they forgot what a world they're living in and in complete discord with what they were in the first game is a lazy way to try and make the point of the story valid. Story aside, this game was extremely unenjoyable simply because they got rid of the stealth I loved so much in the first game, that allowed you to choose whether to sneak past or kill the threats. But with all the review bombing that's bringing the score up Im trying to balance it out. This game was very disappointing with how they decided to go with the story. You only enjoy playing the first few hours until your beloved character gets killed by one of the characters you sill be forced to play as for the rest of the game. This game was an absolute piece of garbage despite it having a beautiful scenary and accessible gaming features. Had the story been properly written it would desserve a 10 in my books but as it is this game should have never been made and only serves to further other peoples political agenda.     This was a terrible, awful, and disgusting game. So bad I took it to my local gun club and all the members at the club shoot it to pieces with 20/12 gauges. The story is awful, the fandom is toxic waste, and the mechanics/performance are about as good as fallout 76

    I think it's a good way in it's mechanics but for me being someone that loves the first game the part2 is more like a complete different game. I don't think the story is good and if I finish a game and don't want to play it again or don't want to keep playing it at all really says something.

    The enemies of the game just act as "bad guys" I wanted more story for them!
    I wanted a full story on Seraphites, The rattlers and Isaac.
    The characters of this game are unimportant and I didn't feel anything about any of them because the game didn't even try to develop them.
    Shame as I really started to like Abby the story ended without anything powerful happening. I did not feel anything about the characters except the dynamic of Lev Abby . If there was more of that the game would be much better. Also a better first impression of Abby would have made the character more likeable but what can we do.    … Expand
