    o jogo é excelente!! não sei pq tem tantas criticas negativas, o gameplay é ótimo, gráficos perfeitos, musica nota 10, vários momentos de tensão em que não sabemos o que pode acontecer.... posso ser exceção, mas estou curtindo mais esse até mesmo do que o primeiro.

    An absolute waste if my time, this game doesn't even come close to the first one. I wanted to play this game for ellie and joul not a golf game with ma'am and incredibly uninteresting characters with horrible pacing that left me confused to what I was even doing for the 2nd half of the game.

Joel was the main protagonist of the first game and truly on of the most unique game characters ever to exist - and the developers had only his rushed death in mind? SHAME ON YOU! They killed him in a way he absolutely didnt deserve. Also it doesnt make sense, that Ebbie and her stupid friends came all the way just to kill Joel? Its so completely random that it cant make sense. And then you even have to play that stupid piece of **** Ebbie. That makes even less sense! How are you supposed to create a good character binding like in the first part if you actually hate the character you are playing? What where those stupid SJW cucks thinking? Neither on of the characters except Joel, Ellie and aslo Lev and his sister meant something to me. Was i supposed to feel less angry if i play Ebbies storyline?? Did you really think that? I didnt even feel ANYTHING when i **** murdered the pregnant woman who **** deserved to die like all of the other **** as well. Same goes for Ellie.

    I will remember Joel and all what he did forever and keep him in memory as we knew him. Im **** done with this series. Thank you DEVS for **** destroying on of the best Games in history. Thanks for nothing you retarded, brainwashed cucks!    … Expand

    Gostei muito do jogo, a ambientação, jogabilidade e etc, a história é bem desenvolvida e no início eu estava com algumas dúvidas (por exemplo de quando a abby mata o Joel) mas depois, quando comecei a jogar com ela entendi tudo e as motivações da personagem, recomendo muito o jogo, mas é preciso jogar o 1° pra entender tudo

Mechanics are a minor improvement over the last game, but the story is lacking, characters are OUT of character, doing things they WOULD know better than to do given what we know of them, the plot is contrived, and characters we do interact with just are nowhere near as compelling as the first game, even actively unlikable. That with cheap attempts to get us to care for them simply nails the coffin shut for me.

For me, the game ended at the point where we said goodbye to Joel. That's what kept the games going. It is he who is first remembered by all the players. His character, reticence, and decisions generally influenced how he became and how he was remembered. But in the second part of such memorable characters were. What did we trade Joel for? On the pumped-up, slightly stupid Abby, who betrayed all her close friends, in order to save unfamiliar characters. Or Allie, who suffers from bipolar disorder? Her opinion changes like a weather vane.
    If I had been in Joel's shoes at the end of the original The Last of Us, I would have accepted Ellie's surgery without a second thought.

    To have it!
    Remove it from the game, an insignificant part of the story will disappear.
    The game itself cannot be an independent product. It is based on the success of the first part.
    The Last of Us should have been left without a sequel. I feel sorry for the money I gave for the game.

    I am ready to praise the technical component of the game. I didn't think that from an old PS4 you can pull such a beautiful picture.

    Quand je m'arrête 5 min, et que je penses à toutes les histoires qu'on auraient pu avoir dans ce jeu la, si la féministe Anita Sarkeesian aurais jamais mis les pieds chez Naughtydogs... omg. La rage m'envahit.

    J'ai platiner ce jeu la en 33 heures, je lui donne 5 sur 10. Impossible de lui donner plus haut que ca. Si vous voulez un bien meilleur jeu pour votre argent, achetez Ghost of Tsushima. Lui je l'ai platiner aussi, et c'est un gros 9 sur 10. Un must play.    … Expand

    As you can see, I generally disliked the story and plot, I believe the game drags a lot, especially in the Abby sections they go in for way too long. It was incredibly frustrating to have to play as Abby for that long and when you’re finally done you have to beat up Ellie the person you’re supposed to be playing as, I feel like Naughtydog wants us to sympathize with Abby and almost in a way says that we’re the bad guys. This is a revenge story, revenge already!

    At the same time though I loved the exploration, the more open ended level design worked wonderfully, the level of painstaking detail in this game is absolutely staggering. This is the most detailed game I’ve played to date and that part of the game shines the brightest in my eyes. In During gameplay I was fully immersed, only to be taken out of the immersion by the story. The storytelling through things the player finds in the game world is far superior to the actual story of the game and I don’t believe that’s a good thing. In conclusion, if you’re gonna play this game for the story, don’t, it retroactively makes the story of the first game worse and is not worth purchasing the game for in the slightest. But if you’re someone who can look past the story, and you play games more for the fun of it, I do in fact recommend this game.    … Expand

Its like the characters read a script and acted out their roles perfectly. The game’s ending hurt even more since not only did I hate Ellie by the end of it, it was the equivalent of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst’s ending, where you technically didn’t accomplish **** I know the message is revenge is bad, but that’s a damn lie. I never had any consequences when I seeked revenge, and I always got my revenge, so Ellie ain’t **** compared to me (I like to make jokes.) Now, can we talk about how the game tried to push an agenda? I don’t play games to be taught a lesson or have something pushed to me, I play to have fun (or I guess not fun, but engaging since Naughty Dog banned the word fun) but this wasn’t fun at all. I don’t care if its story driven, I just want a good time, and this game just left me wondering if Naughty Dog would ever come back from it.    … Expand

    Where do i start umm the visuals and game-play was nice, i loved the combat mechanics i beat it twice might as well platinum it while i got it lol. the ending i just couldn't get with it, i liked Jesse and Dina, Owen was probably the only one i kinda like from abby group i'll give it a 6.9 at least but it should be lower the Joel stuff hurt me and the score the story should had be done better!!

I'm fine with a depressing, sad, and dark story. But Joel didn't get treat right in this game buy absolutely getting clobbered with a golf club by Abby. Leading to his death, and you have to play as Abby, the antagonist for over 10 hours... WTF NAUGHTY DOG!?!?! Aren't you supposed to try to kill the antagonist? Instead you play as her for half of the story. And the ending sucks because you don't even get to kill Abby at the end.… Expand

That being said I along with many other people had a problem with the story. Yes I hated it when Joel died, yes I hated playing as abby but the biggest problem for me was the ending.the lack of a choice is the absolute worst thing by not letting me decide if I wanted to spare abby or not it made the 2 things I disliked about the game that much worse maybe I would have spared abby or maybe not but l wasn't given the chance to figure it out on my own.… Expand

    the story was mediocre, purposeless, depressing and uninspiring. Why Debbie needs to go through all that trouble for only one medical box? Why Ellie loses her family, home, fingers and ability to play guitar for nothing ? The fans don't like to play as Debbie, the character who killed Joel.

    the fans want to see the world of Ellie and Joel progressing. I expected the story to be much bigger with greater purpose. World changing. Ellie and Joel could have found a way to cure the infected and kill the virus. Rebuild the cities, or search for a place with no infection. Found the origin of the virus and what caused it.

    - Whatever strength the start of the game creates is immediately destroyed, not by the death of a beloved character, but by the introduction of a character which the player is forced to relate to
    - Poor writing unfortunately creates many plot holes which leaves players wondering just how on earth they all slipped past the whole team
    - Bugs. Oh my lord the bugs, I don't know whether I personally was unlucky to find so many bugs or if the game was filled to the brim with them but the amount of times the game decides to become a mess was laughable
    - Poor character development. A bunch of nobodies which no one cares about, an awkward sex scene which I'm unsure as to why it was included? (unless it's a main plot device, there's no point in having a scene in a game like that, keep it in your pants developers) and the poor treatment of both protagonists
    - She hulk. This is more of a personal thing and as such won't affect the rating, but christ. I have done my fair share of bodybuilding and if I could have She Hulks muscles by surviving off of scraps of food and probably no protein shakes, I'd be cutting down on supps. Granted she is made skinnier after certain events, but during an apocalypse, every one would be lean as hell unless they had access to Willy Wonkas chocolate factory.

The Last of Us Part II, however, took this intricate and delicately woven storyline and changed it into brute, insensitive propaganda that constantly tries to “enlighten” the players. He mistakes himself for sitting on the moral high ground and thinks the players need to be educated.     I quitted playing video games 4 years ago due to work and lack of time. The last thing I played was the first part of TLoU and as 99% of all us I loved the characters and the game itself, every time I remember its plot and my gaming experience of It I get warm feelings in my heart. As soon I finished the first part, sold my PS 3 I decided to 100% buy a new upcoming console to play TLoU 2 when it comes out, I haven’t thought about and waited for other games than TLoU 2 since then.

    August 2020, I am old as **** 26 years, childhood and uni years are far away from where I am now, responsibilities, bills to cover, work that I do not enjoy. Anyway, I specially took a vacation for 3 weeks, bought the latest Sony 4k screen and PS 4 Pro - TLoU 2 edition. Unboxing felt so amazing, I got tears in my eyes for such a sentimental moment, the kid that slept inside me for years was so happy.

    The start of the game is great, the graphics are amazing and I feel so excited to be back with the characters that lived in my heart for all these years: Joel and Ellie. I expect that for the next couple of days there will be only me and their new adventure, no outer world, but me reflecting on the cool plot twists, dying supporting characters and the **** realistic human nature at the time of the crisis.

    I saw trailers with Ellie laying down in blood,
    she promises to kill ‘em all and I was 100% sure that she will take revenge for her new girlfriend. As most of you I was so shocked that Joel is was being killed so ruthlessly and the first signs of the emptiness inside started to echo my heart. The fact that I played for Abby in the beginning was not a coincidence and I prayed that I wouldn’t have to do it again later in my walkthrough. Next 11 or 12 hours were great. I didn’t have any feeling of mercy while killing dogs and screaming friend’s names people because to the same extent as Ellie loved Joel, same did I and I wanted to take revenge and hoped everything is finished with the death of this ugly Abby character, i don’t buy this ‘eye for an eye and the world is blind’ thing, all of us in such conditions as Ellie are able to kill for our beloved ones and don’t regret while taking revenge.

    But it went as it went and when after a cutscene in the theatre the control is given back to Abby I realized that the next 11-12 hours I must learn her side of the story, play for her and feel sorry for her because I knew that the game requires 25 hours in total. The problem is I DON’T GIVE A **** ABOUT HER STORY, MOTIVATION, FRIENDS, FATHER, BOYFRIEND, DOG, HULK HANDS, FEELINGS, VOICE AND SO ****ING ON. All those people deserve to die. So the game after this becomes some kind of a torture untill the very last levels where Ellie is back at your control, the boy with arrows as a partner of Abby causes more sympathy than her, but he is not a ‘game changer’.

    In the end Ellie doesn’t kill Abby, she leaves her to go and comes back to the house left by her stupid girlfriend.

    TO SAY THAT I WAS PISSED IS TO SAY NOTHING. JUST SIMULTANEOUS EMPTINESS INSIDE MY HEART. Even when I walke through the first Ellie’s half of the game for the second time. Expectations that lasted for several years were ruined and I drank 2 bottles of vodka not because I am Russian on the vacation, I drink once in 2-3 months, but to silence the pain caused by the plot of the TLoU 2.

    5 vodkas out 10, now I need to sell my PS 4 Pro and hope that in 7 years I ll be still there to play PS 5 PROTURBOMEGADRIVE HD THE LAST OF US PART 3 ABBY **** BURNS IN HELL LIMITED EDITION. Stay strong comrades.    … Expand

I don't think I saw a single repeated environment after nearly 30 hours of gameplay. The only minor thing I can say is that the AI could be a little dense but that's absolutely nothing new. Also killing dogs suuuuuucks.

    Solid game in my opinion. The set pieces are gorgeous and I enjoyed the acting. The atmosphere in several levels is great.

    However the pacing is in this game is really bad. Three to five hours less would have improved the quality of the game. Also some plot armors were just insane and the story overall wasn't really enjoyable to me.

Those are the best I've ever seen on a console game before, but if I am reviewing about story, its a 0 from me dawg. I honestly dont know what went on over at Naughty Dog with this game, if you are expecting the same type of story, character ark, forget about it. The name is what sells this POS.

I love the fact that player can now do prone movement, and beautiful graphics on top of that. But, the story sucks alright.

    The story seems to be written by an SJW extremist with short rainbow colored hair. I hate the fact that they killed Joel (favorite character) for nothing, literally FOR NOTHING. I would have understand if Joel died defending Ellie or Tommy or some meaningful **** And the fact that the game forces you to play as Abby THE KILLER OF JOEL are utterly disgusting. We are in TLOU 2 in part 49 (skipping several) and I am not going to finish it, it hurts too much.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Let's start with the good stuff. this game looks amazing, sounds amazing and plays smoothly. transitions are handled well and the use of the camera to show the game world and set the scenes is well executed.

    there's plenty to like, being in that world again, discovering more about it and the characters in it. the gameplay is fun though a bit comic, even on hard you have plenty of time before detection and both characters are basically rambo which just feels kinda wrong.

    Many things don't make sense in the Last of Us Part II. below I'll refer to a small part of them.

    Sadly, it fails right out of the gate (yes, Joel. the how of it not the why). I kept playing and being excited hoping things will make sense or be more meaningful later on. it didn't pan out. the game kept forcing me to accept what it presented me with but it never sold me on it.

    By the time I got to play Abby (after the initial intro) it was all very obvious. Playing her just made her seem more of an ass to me.

    she has this revenge goal that survives everything she has gone through sine that day, which seems odd considering how immediate and deadly life is in the game. she has the life of a soldier fighting for the WLF, she has relative safety and comfort. the WLF is presented like this well off para-military organization. their beef with the scars makes less sense considering both groups and the world they are in.

    in short, it seems like Abby (that voice, lol) went out of her way to gather a group of people to go trek across the country, leaving their current group the WLF, to go brutally murder the person who murdered her father and triggers a series of events that sees most of the new characters in the story dead.

    another thing that stood out was the whole Ellie is this crazy revenge driven girl now with an amazing ability to straight up murder everything in her path except when the plot needs her to be this child who didn't actually mean to hurt anyone. her conviction falters for no good reason.
    her losing her fingers in the final fight was another "punch" to who she portrayed as for most of the game and I can only assume it was done to again shock players with a "twist" and "really" sell their point as the guitar scene shows later.

    I got no problem with the concepts or even Joel's death in the very beginning (except how he dies) or with how silly characters act and how outside their character they seem to act but I do got a problem with being force-fed a story and being "told" how to feel by the game.

    That is only part of how a great looking game with awesome sound design, music, characters and a lot of effort can fall flat trying to deliver the story which to me is the *main* selling point and the reason to play.    … Expand

All told I must have played it from beginning to end at least 10 times. Like most who played TLOU, I couldn't wait for TLOU2. I watched each trailer as it was released with goosebumps and growing anticipation. The love I had for the first would certainly carry over to the second. Sure, some things had changed at Naughty Dog but the core was still there and they loved Joel and Ellie as much as any of us…right?

    Let's start with Joel. I kind of thought he might die at some point, likely in a way that was heroic and meaningful (maybe stepping in front of an infected or a WLF bullet to save Ellie?), but Ellie's rampage of revenge (as highlighted in the trailers) must have been fueled by something else, right? I mean, she was joined by Joel on her quest (or at least that's what the trailers deceptively showed, a flat out lie from Naughty Dog that we all believed). I mean, ND must have had discussions about whether people would dislike the game because Joel plays such a small part and decided “Let's trick the fans into thinking he has a much bigger part! They’ll forgive us when they see how progressive the game is!” Instead the only Joel we see for the rest of the game is in flashbacks, most of which show a deteriorated relationship between he and Ellie. Joel from TLOU wasn’t perfect, but he deserved far better (as did we).

    Let's move on to Abby. Abby, the faithful soldier and hero of the WLF, a bloodthirsty machine fueled entirely by the thought of taking revenge on the man who killed her father. I'm fine with Abby's motives but being forced to play as Abby for countless hours was a laughable attempt by ND to trick the player into sympathizing with Joel's murderer.

    What ND wanted you to see: Aww, she lost her father. Aww, look at her play with the doggies. Aww, she and Owen used to be so happy. Aww, she's helping the Scar kids. Aww, she spared Ellie and Dina. She’s totally redeemable!

    What I saw: Umm, she mercilessly tortured and killed Joel right after he literally saved her life. Umm, she just had sex with Owen who has a baby on the way. Umm, she just went Rambo on all of her friends and fellow soldiers at the WLF the second they threatened Lev's life. Umm, she was ready to slit Dina’s throat until Lev intervened. Mel was right, Abby really is a piece of ****

    Now for the biggest disappointment, Ellie herself. Ellie, who swore that she would make them all pay, that she would kill every last one of them for what they did to Joel. This is the same Ellie who killed countless WLFs (including killing pregnant Mel and torturing Nora before also killing her), Scars, Rattlers and doggies to get to Abby with barely an inkling of remorse. Then in the end she has an epiphany and realizes that revenge is wrong and she just doesn’t have it in her to kill Abby (you know, the one who actually did the torturing and killing). She also left Dina and their baby alone with barely a thought to go after Abby, even though she knew Dina may not be there when she returned. She didn’t honor Joel’s memory by sparing Abby, she merely affirmed that his life and everything that led up to that moment from the time she left Jackson meant nothing. She killed all those people for nothing. Jesse died for nothing. Tommy was maimed for nothing. Dina and the baby are gone for nothing. Hell, she even lost a couple of fingers for nothing.     I can’t fathom why so many critics are hailing this game as a “masterpiece”. Did they actually play it? How long did they play it? Are they just rewarding Naughty Dog for being so “progressive”? I grant that the game is beautiful and most of the actual gameplay was enjoyable but in the end poor writing has left the franchise in shambles. ND will never admit that they’ve done anything wrong, and for some reason a lot of people defend them, but I can’t wait to see TLOU2 remastered flop when it hits PS5, and when the trailer for TLOU3 inevitably drops in a couple of years, I won’t pay it any attention.     While this game does show substantial improvements to its predecessor, The Last of Us, it fails when comparing the storyline head to head. To be frank, the storyline doesn’t live up to the hype and will be found by most people to be a letdown. It doesn’t provide the same pathos as it’s predecessor. Additional issues with the storyline are character verisimilitude, profligate missions, and poor pacing. It’s clear telling from the stunning graphics, character dialogue, and duration of the game that Naughty Dog spent a lot of time on development. While it is a good game, scores of 9 and above and 5 and below should be considered speculative and should be read with caution. Hopefully the prequel will be a game that gives the fans more of what they want.… Expand

    I don't want to write a review with 10.000 characters. That others have done :)

    In my opinion is it worth to play it. It's a solid game with up's and down's. And i don't think it's so controverse like most people said.

    But for me was the last third of the Game worth to play. The Storyline about Abby had so much more deepness.

    Okay do I even need to say why. Anyways visuals and graphics are really good. Music is V okay nothing blew me away. Gameplay is innovatived by a little. And the rest y’all know why this review is low just look at abother Low rating that goes more in-depth in its flaws don’t feel like explaining why Neil **** his most be loved Game franchise

    The game is really nice, it has been made up to the smallest detail, but the story of the glory is very mediocre, it actually progresses well, but it has an end or it really sucks

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
