    Garbage game by a dying studio. Too bad, I used to really LOVE Naughty Dog and Uncharted 1-3 as well as The Last of Us 1, but they're not who they used to be.

    Garbage characters, garbage story, a major step down from The Last Of Us 1. I thought of giving it a 1/10 instead of 0/10 for occasionally having good graphics, but after playing Ghost of Tsushima, in comparison I can see that    Garbage game by a dying studio. I still can't believe this is the Naughty Dog I used to love. Guess I can only say, thank you Naughty Dog for making Insomniac and Sucker Punch shine. Now they're the AAA studio and you're the C studio. Maybe your next game should be a TLOU Pinball game. You should have Anita Sharteesian "consult" for that game too, I'm sure it'll be a major win.    … Expand

The game was supposed to be about Ellie's revenge and she wasn't even touched by the best parts. For me, the best part of the game was the journey to the hospital, the fight with the boss monster and the chaos on the island of the Scars. But all of this was played by Abby! The creators of the game are not newbies to make a mistake like this with the script -.- It does not even seem like the story of Ellie or Joel if not of any other.… Expand

    This game offers some very intense and enjoyable moments, combined with awesome graphics. But overal i was dissapointed, the storyline was a long and pointless journey with no real goal. Rinse and repeat, that seems the recepy for this game. Walk, gather, kill, upgrade, cutscene, over and over again.     I've been thinking about this review over the course of a month, finally got the platinum tophy today and completed the NG+ - bringing it to 2 playthroughs.
    The game for me is very good, not amazing or excellent but calling it anything less is just lazy. I had a fantastic experience playing this game and I would FIRMLY recommend it to anyone. The only element I didn't enjoy was Abby, but not for the reason most people dislike Abby. I enjoyed the story, Lev and Yara were genuinely interesting characters, but forcing the player to play against Ellie and the end was just cruel and whatever goal the developers had in mind, they missed it in my opinion.
    Score, gameplay, acting performances, mechanics - all nearly perfect and had the game at a 9/10 for me. First 10 hours of the game with Ellie was incredible, but the Abby story was always going to fall short. The theatre encounter between Ellie and Abby was just abandoned for 10 hours and gave the player this deep sense of dread when we returned.

    To conclude, if depression and emptiness was the mood the Devs were shooting for, they genuinely have achieved it. I just think it's sad we couldn't playmoree of what we fell in love with, Joel and Ellie. The flashbacks on Ellie's side were gripping and some of the best parts of the game. The Abby ones were completely non-compelling. Looking forward to a DLC hopefully and eventually the third and fhopefully final chapter in what will always be an incredible series.    … Expand

Very excited for the future of games. No one can argue this. When it comes to the story, Druckman clearly was clearly trying to push a political agenda. Very cringe and does not belong. The story is completely ruined by forcing you to play as a drab uninspired SJW inspired character that nobody asked for. Ellie is left to rot and none of this makes any sense. Even the core gameplay takes a massive step back.
    It’s more bland and basic than before with 0 thrills. Cutscenes are glitchy and the whole thing is a mess.

    I’m glad I took it back for Ghost of Tsushima. I’m having a waaaayy better time with that game. AAA revenge tale done masterfully.    … Expand

But the worse is the characters. The main characters exist to prove points, they are there for the writer's convenience. During the gameplay, it gets even more evident that politics were behind the creation of this story, and that characters were molded into stereotypes so that that story could be written. The secondary characters are entirely forgettable.
    I finished the game only because I don't like to leave stuff undone.

After Joel is killled and you are forced to play his killer I felt many things: disappointment, anger, disgust, betrayal, and sadness. It wasn’t just the fact that Joel was gone. It was that you are this character for half the game... and you have to beat the **** out of Ellie with this character... then so you are forced to feel anything positive for this character they force you to see the backstory of people you are killling as Ellie. The directors/writers trying to “teach” us that even the “villains” are human and maybe were created this way felt so disgusting... they could have created a new game with new characters for this wasted idea. This is upsetting me to the point I can’t even finish my point.. but trying to make people dislike characters we grew to love in the first game by way of a forced story isn’t a great, and will only make us hate you for it. It’s like if all the sudden we play a new uncharted game and we kill Nathan Drake then play as his killer... no one wants to do that. These devs literally crapped all over fans with this one.     I feel like I was force fed food that I hate throughout this entire game. I have no empathy for the new characters. I waited several years to see Ellie and Joel grow as father and daughter; I didn't wait all this time for whatever mess of a game this is. You rolled the dice, Naughty Dog, but you bet on the wrong characters.. I'm gonna pretend this game is one big nightmare Ellie has.

I found the second part almost hideous because of the bad story. But first to the positive. The graphics textures are great. Whe weather conditions are very realistic. You can see that the graphic detals were programmed with love. With HDR you can even recognize tiny text passages in the big world. I also find the sound and the music composed very beautifully and professionally. The music adapts to the different scenes. I also think the gameplay is outstanding. The controls are simple and not complicated. Now the negative: in some places I find the game too boring because the mission repeats itself. Search for it or find it. That was not always the case but sometimes. Why did I only give a 3 for TLOU2? The horrible bad story !!!! How can you tell such a good story from part 1 so badly? A favorite character dies at the beginning and you are even forced to play with the killer for over 20 hours. What i liked most badly was that the game tries to influence me with a political opinion. I play games for fun and not to listen to and look at any political opinions. I feel that the game was a left political party game.Then I can turn on the TV right away. The end battle of the story makes no sense to me, especially the totally bad boring ending. in the end i felt as if i had played all the time without meaning and purpose.… Expand

    No one is going to read this review, so it doesn't matter much, but I'm gonna leave it anyway. This game is both absolutely amazing, and absolute trash depending on how you look at it. If you care about. From one point of view, the game play is fun, the quality of the acting, and graphics are absolutely top notch, and the story is mildly interesting. It has a diverse cast of characters,No one is going to read this review, so it doesn't matter much, but I'm gonna leave it anyway. This game is both absolutely amazing, and absolute trash depending on how you look at it. If you care about. From one point of view, the game play is fun, the quality of the acting, and graphics are absolutely top notch, and the story is mildly interesting. It has a diverse cast of characters, and looks from multiple points of view. If I were to rate this game in a vacuum, I would give it as high as a 9/10. However, rating this game in a vacuum would do every other game in the world a disservice, because in no world do we ever rate games in a complete vacuum.

    While this game has amazing game play, it's just a slightly polished version of the first game. If you loved the first games game play, then you would love this game play. If you hated the first games game play, you would hate this, as this does virtually nothing to the game play from the first one. So while the game play is truly nice (in my opinion), it's not at all a real improvement from the first game, and is by no means near a masterpiece level of game play.

    However the biggest issue with this game isn't it's game play, but its story. Its hard to discuss this games story without spoiling anything, but I'm going to try. This game has an awful story. Obviously, thousands of people disagree, which is fine. We are all allowed to have our own opinions. However every place that compliments this games story and certain aspects, I can find counter examples of what they call so amazing. This games story contradicts itself, introduces several deus ex machinas, mcguffins, and is extremely heavy handed in what it's trying to tell. You get a lot of nameless faceless enemies even though the game is meant to show you that there are no nameless faceless enemies, and so on. This in and of itself isn't the biggest hit against the game. The biggest hit against this game, is the connections between people. In the first game you had such amazing and significant connections between characters. And everyone who played it felt it, that's why that game had universal praise. This game following it is like Jak 2 following Jak and Daxter. You can't fault people for being overly critical of a game the is a complete departure of the previous. The example I provided is even more glaring, because Jak and Daxter wasn't a universally praised masterpiece, meaning when the departure happened more people were willing to accept it's new traits. This game however, departs from a masterpiece, and it just falls short.

    So to surmise, given the predecessor of this game does not hold up to me. I platinumed the game, and I wasn't even happy when I did it. There was no happiness when I finally beat the game. I remember being excited to finish it so I could do something else. That feeling itself is enough to justify my score of 5/10.    … Expand

The Story is the main selling point of this game, the world it has built and characters it has developed in the first game are what the selling point was. Unfortunately contrary to what the reviewers believe (surprise surprise) it underwhelms in this department and rather feels like a forced farce rather than a actual thought out follow up. It has moments where you see what it could have been but all too soon you are reminded of what it is. If you don't mind the story and want Gameplay the game is mostly solid, however if the story is what brought you here, Buyer Beware, this will be a Raiden moment from MGS.… Expand

    After finishing the game i can say that the shooting is a pain in the you knows, the stealth is random and weird at best. The exploring gets tedious and half of the talents feel useless. Most of the events that should have made your heart cry make you feel nothing cause the story suddenly warps you out of them, and whenever something good is going on it just takes it from you. i understand it's pessimistic narrative but if it doesn't make you feel anything and it's obviously not trying to be a clever story, then what? The story does not make you crave for it, i finished the game cause i paid 70 bucks for it. I give it a 6 purely for the developers, the game works flawlessly except for a minor bug i found.… Expand

The graphics are ok and the details are awesome but with that history the entire game is Bad. Abby is a poor character, the death of Joel was stupid and Ellie was a poor character too. I also hated how right after killing Joel, who I was expecting to have a bigger role, we are forced to play as the person who killed him.     I really love TLOU, the story the gameplay, everything, it was real masterpiece. But waiting 7 years and getting a game with only try to look like RDR2 in graphics and a story line with is dramatically prolonged as bad movie isn't what I want to get. People started to fight with zombie with fist, Girls who doesn't look like girls, and artist that involved but doesn't show any professionalI really love TLOU, the story the gameplay, everything, it was real masterpiece. This is a above average game with some amazing graphics and incredible gameplay. That is what the game does really well. It’s combat is incredibly fun and realistic. it is a fun game if you are looking for some action. But if you what to get invested in a story and want a game that tells an incredible story than “this ain’t it chief”. The game introduces a bunch of new characters that the game really wants you to like. Me personally I tried I really did but I simply did not care for Abby, Owen and so on. The new characters are really hollow and don’t seem to have an in depth personality. An example is Abby. Like what do you know about her personality. What does Abby like exempt Owen. She is so uninteresting and the only nice thing about her is her combat moves and weapons. The story is also very uninteresting and messy. They tried to do like a Tarentino directing style. With more timelines that come to getter. Which works in a movie which last 2 hours but doing this for 10+ hours knowing the outcome is really boring. The game is in general unsatisfying. In a game you should achieve something like for example saving princess peach, defeating the wild hunt, revenging Arthur or defeating the enderdragon. This game achieves nothing and it sucks. It’s a fun one time game to experience but if you wanna fall in love and play it multiple times then you are in the wrong place. I can’t force myself through that Story again. And I don’t think most people will be able to. It is still an above average game. Saying it’s **** is wrong and saying it’s a masterpiece is also wrong.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us Part II was fine. It wasn’t the worst game, but it also wasn’t the best. First of all, I’d like to acknowledge that this is possibly the most visually impressive game I have ever played. This game is **** gorgeous. I often found myself just admiring the environments around me or staring at the way blood pools and splatters naturally. The level of detail is beyond impressive. The gameplay is also quite enjoyable, gameplay and mechanics aren’t anything revolutionary or special, but I found it fun to play. While this has nothing to do with the story, it’s still a video game at the end of the day, and this was a fun game to play. However, in a story driven game, the story fell flat. The story itself isn’t even that bad, it was the structure that made some parts feel like a chore. Having Abby murder Joel that gruesomely, then have us play as her for half of the game made me play her parts only out of obligation, not because I was interested in her character or story. I’m not mad Joel died, however the way he died felt a little like lazy writing, but one could make the argument that his extreme caution from the first game was softened by living a relatively normal life with Ellie in Jackson. I think a better way to tell this same story would be to market it as a stand alone, a spin off of the original, following Abby and her friends traveling through the United States. Then mid way, reveal they’re looking for Joel and have him die. This could be when the tides switch and we go into control of Ellie and have her half be the exact same, then have the confrontation in the theater be the FINAL boss fight to remove the events in Santa Barbara as this felt disconnected from the rest of the game. Connecting deeply with Abby before knowing her intentions would make her actions with Joel that much more impactful on the player. Introducing her relationship with the other characters around her BEFORE we know Ellie ends up killing just about all of them would allow us to better connect with them. I found myself not really caring about the love triangle between Owen, Abby, and Mel because I already knew Owen and Mel die, so it felt pointless and a waste of time. This had to be my biggest problem with the game. Trying to make us empathize with a character we already hated then make us care about her relationships when we knew these characters died made her half of the game feel like a chore. I only kept playing out of wanting to know what happens after the cut before Abby’s section begins. And to later introduce a brand new group (The Rattlers) to only have them in 2-3 hours of gameplay was very weird. The entire time played in Santa Barbara felt like a DLC rather than apart of the same game. I have many more thoughts on this game when it comes to themes and the manipulation of gameplay between Ellie and Abby to create faux empathy for Abby. I’ve already played it twice due to the fun gameplay and stunning graphics, but the story structure is beyond annoying. I unfortunately think this will be GOTY due to the prerelease hype and critic reviews, but it isn’t deserving.… Expand

    La phase de réappropriation des personnages est trop courte. Du coup, on s'en fout un peu et on ne peut pas vraiment se sentir dans la peau de Ellie (plus de phase avec Joel aurait été bien mieux).
    On joue très peux Ellie, on nous fait aimer Abby => Qui se trouve être le personnage le plus approfondi du jeu. Ellie trop lisse, voir vide. Jesse et Dina sont des side kicks vide. Quand jesse meurt on s'en fou. Dina a cette touche de l'amoureuse mais au fond on ne sait rien d'elle.
    La fin qui fait jaser. Une fin sur le pardon selon m'a copine (On se voile la face jusqu'à accepter les actes de l'autre) et pourtant je peux comprendre le fait que tuer le monde entier pour ne pas finir ce qu'on a commencer; revient à se sentir perplexe, jusqu'à se poser la question sur l'envie de le recommencer. Which I was invested in was the main characters and story but this game took a 180 degree turn from the last game and just did not work for me. I will say the game has outstanding graphics, gameplay was fun and the soundtrack for this game was amazing, but unfortunately it was not enough to keep me invested in the game where the storys is what made Naughty dog great. I was a huge Ellie fan from the 1st game and the DLC. They ruined her character. And for half the game you have play as Abby whom I didn't want to play as because she was a dull character compared to Joel and Ellie. I almost gave it a 6 here, but I realized I'm never going to play this game again, but I'm not going to bomb the review of the game either because it was a horrible game. The last game of the trilogy was very unexpected for the public, coming from a company like Naughty Dog, which since its inception has been making games with more childish tones (some less than others). At the time the first trailer was released, people were not sure what this title was going to be, which, after being released, moved everyone with a very good story, graphics, gameplay, etc. The new title would not have the same fate, it is more, it would carry the weight of marveling us all and exceeding our expectations, which clearly did not succeed, and it was not solely the fault of the company, since we have cases like Duke Nukem Forever that after 14 years of development, he did not meet the expectations at all, and people are partly to blame, for overestimating something that may not be what was expected.
    The game itself, is not that it has a bad story, it developed quite badly, but the concept is not bad, they were wrong to focus so much on Ashley, and everything that had to go through her life, when she killed the character more beloved of the saga, that is why he did not achieve his mission of making the player empathize with it. As much as you tell me about your misfortunes and miseries, the player comes with hatred since he killed Joel, and that he does not forgive him, and less knowing that the main plot of the game is to take revenge on all the accomplices and the murderer. At this point, the game wants you to empathize with the 2 characters, and wants you to think that they are all good people, which is why they have lived previously.

The first day of playing TLOUP2 ruined my mood and day and only anger and revenge motivated me to move on. Don't know from what to start: the way they killed our favorite character is horrible and disrespecting, the second part of the game playing for the character that I hate and the end of the game with playing against Ellie! Whaaaaat? If you wanted to tell another story of pain and sorrow on behalf of Abby, let's thing of all people (soldiers) that was killed during the game! Does it mean that all its families will come and get revenge? Why you killed Joel in such a way? We would hate Abby even if she JUST killed Joel. Many incredibly beautiful locations were given to Abby but I didn't even enjoy it as I wanted to finish this part as soon as possible. After the end of the game I don't feel any connection with Abby, at all...I feel only empty and frustration… Expand

You have naughty dog doing what they do best and that’s gameplay, visuals, voice acting, movie like cutscenes with great mocap and character design at least in my opinion and the rest are facts honestly. But this story gets in the way of that because of the disorganization of who you play as and naughty dog made like the most Oscar bait game ever made. There’s a lot of points where they try to show off how cool the visuals are which I get but it happens way to often. Now I’ll start off with the disorganization first. By now I think everyone knows Joel dies in this game and it happens within the first two hours and I honestly thought it was done pretty well for how graphic and disturbing the torture was. But you play as Ellie for 10 hours after killing like Ellie does and for me I didn’t feel bad whatsoever. Worst I felt was when I was forced to kill any dog in the game. But after you play as Abby with a huge cut to basically meet back up to the end of the game and play the next 12 hours as her. For me I was so disinterested in Abby because of what she did to Joel and I just wanted Ellie to get vengeance. If anything it should’ve been switched because it makes no sense to feel for these characters that kill an important character and you don’t like them until 50% into the game. And at the end of abbys storyline you end up fighting Ellie in a very intense scenario that’s done really well but I didn’t want to win because i was still too attached to Ellie and honestly I think everyone thinks that. But instead you beat the crap out of Ellie and also stab her pregnant love interest which could’ve been good but naughty dog is trying so hard to make you feel something it ultimately resulted into disappointment. Plus I know there’s a group of people that hate the game because there’s a trans character in the game, it didn’t bother me really but I felt it was really on the nose and could’ve been done a lot better. The fact that no one says “trans” in the game is kind of nice but I honestly kind of find it hard to believe that anyone would really care what gender someone wanted to be in the post apocalyptic world. Like I would think people would care about ya know, like literally anything else going on but it is basically a cult that makes the character ostracized so idk. Plus could’ve been delve into deeper if they really wanted that to make sense, to me it just felt really on the surface and naughty dog just wanted to pretend this somehow isn’t just allyship on display. And that’s what I meant by Oscar bait. You can just feel someone saying “this is art” when either the random sex scene happens that could easily cut away or when the trans character appears and talks about the most surface level issue of being an outsider, or seeing that there’s a ton of diversity within the cast of characters throughout the game or whatever it is. As if something like Super Mario Odyssey isn't because it’s just some silly platformer that doesn’t deal with any dark themes and doesn't have these forward thinking ideas to put diverse characters in the game. But all of that aside, I would still say I liked the game and I’d still recommend it because the good outweighs the bad. If I could give this game a 7.5 I would because I feel that’s more appropriate of a score compared to an 8 or 7. And especially more accurate than people saying a 0-5. As if they somehow forgot how good the gameplay and everything else is other than the story. But overall, buy it when it goes on a decent sale. You don’t need to play it, but it’s still a recommendation none the less.… Expand

    TLOU is my favourite game in the last decade and top 3 in the last 20 years. It had decent gameplay, great graphics and especially what made this an outstanding game is its story. Take that away and it would become average.
    TLOU 2 may be a great game for those who didn't play the first, but for us who did, this was a HUGE disappointment. Waste of time, money and ruined your credibility.

This game is a solid disappointment saying fans have waited 7 years, the characters we loved from the first game get little to no respect, within the first 2 hours of the game, the beginning looks promising starting with joel and ellie and joel singing for her, however it takes a sharp turn when Joel, a character we played as for the first game and we came to love, got beaten down with a golf club because of an NPC you kill in the first game. The story from then on feels empty, you are forced to play as a new character, Abby, who also is Joel’s killer, her character development was poor, made to play as a character for 10 hours who you have no attachment to and after she killed a key character to the story. The flashbacks between joel and ellie were the only parts of the game I enjoyed, mainly the museum flashback. The graphics are 10/10, the best I’ve seen and the accessibility controls are amazing, however the game just lacks everywhere else. Story and character development is way off from the first game and it just feels empty and like a chore to play. The ending is disappointing and empty, probably left for a third game for Abby, which I will not be getting. Overall I think the last of us 2 is an awfully written game, with the power of the graphics and gameplay I can only give it maximum a 4/10 as it is a predominately story based game with an awful story, however if there was a multiplayer I would play that as it has amazing graphics and really enjoyable gameplay. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing it because for the money it will just be disappointing. The LGBT aspects do not affect the game whatsoever and if someone has an issue with them in 2020 they’re the issue, not the characters. the whole “revenge is bad storyline” was executed poorly, as after butchering everyone on your way to Abby, you just let her go so loads of characters were killed for no reason, I understand what they tried to do, but unlike red dead 2 where a “revenge is bad” storyline is done well. Overall 4/10 which is upsetting because from the first game which was a masterpiece to this, it is very disappointing… Expand

    Максимально тупой ИИ, хотя по началу кажется, что не так уж и плох.
    Концовка выглядит просто максимально глупой и нелогичной.

Obviously the way that joel's character was handled was downright stupid.. Its like you kill kratos in the beginning of the game. They forced you to play as Abby(which obviously is the most boring character in this franchise). You could actually notice that they tried to make her gameplay more interesting with all the weapons and boss fights but failed miserably. After wasting more than 20-25 hours , you get a messed up and unsatisfying ending. Naughty dogs -just stick to uncharted franchise; that's all you are good for.     Positives:

    The technical elements in this game are seriously outstanding:

    The level design complements the somewhat basic but functional gameplay very well. For a linear game, the level designers did everything in their power to give players tense encounters with different approaches, options and generous environmental layouts to play with. The levels are consistently open and natural-feeling without reminding you that it's mostly linear. There's good level variety alongside some impressive set-pieces that never felt out-of-place thematically.

    The seamless animation work is truly next-gen. Combat and movement animations, motion capture, lip-sync, facial animations, and the sense of emotion conveyed through them is industry-leading, and will likely be for many years.

    The world lighting, foliage density, detail density, overall graphical presentation, and cutscene presentation all break the boundaries of anything done before it, especially on current console hardware.

    There's a clear focus on attention to detail with everything being so meticulously detailed with subtle finishing touches here and there, which is really impressive with how consistent it is. Especially in a game of this scale.

    Finally, the sound design in the sense of ambiance/environment, reverberation/space, impact and feedback are all top notch. The strong choice of acoustic soundtrack really sells the art direction, thematic moments, and the feeling of authenticity.

    Constructive Criticism:

    The story and its themes could've been better presented with an emphasis on select characters being more meaningful. At a glance, there are simply TOO MANY characters which made it impossible to develop them all, or even half of them in meaningful ways.

    Similarly, the amount of unfinished subplot bloat could be trimmed down, making room to explore some of the more interesting subplots that were unfinished or underdeveloped.

    Plot points and characters also at times have an artificial "forced" quality to them, with unjustified actions that aren't expanded upon; The story rarely "flows" as it should. These jarring moments in particular can be attributed to poor story planning and writing.

    Lastly, there are too many harsh jumpcuts with the needlessly hectic timeline that often ruins the pacing of the game and dumbfounds the audience. This approach of storytelling makes it difficult to feel attached or invested when you already know the eventual outcome of what happens. This should be kept to a minimum when writing a coherent story, as it also ruins any possibility of suspense.

    Some of the best moments in the game are where the events progress chronologically and manage to provoke suspense, and the moments where there's sections of character-building and world-building. This is all indicative that more of these moments are desperately needed in the game.

    Summary:

    Overall, the technical marvels of this game is not put to good use when it tunnel-visions a shallow theme that ultimately rings hollow and isn't very meaningful at the end of the game.

    Many people including myself would've wanted to explore the more intriguing aspects of apocalyptic society in The Last of Us' universe, instead of the story we got in Part II.    … Expand

The problem I had when I played as Abby was that I didn't feel attached to any of her friends thus their deaths didn't have an effect on me. The only character that felt interesting to me was Owen. The impact of their deaths can't possibly measure up to what I felt when Tess or Sam died in the first game.

    I really tried and wanted to like this game. The graphics were amazing and the gameplay was improved while still keeping the vibe of the first game. The small details and easter eggs that is characteristic of LOU were still there and I loved it. Instead, Naughty Dog spent the entire second half of the game insulting the main characters and demonizing them unjustly while trying to pass of the villains as some morale judges who are right in every decision they make. Instead you should have used the second half to develop Tommy further or given us more context into the whole Ellie/Joel/ Dina relationship.

    That is my whole problem with the game. I don't care about politics, LGBTQ+ controversies. I am not insulted by any of that, I just hate the way the story was developed and how I regret wasting my time speedrunning the second half.    … Expand

    each time i come here and see the massive difference between 'critic' review and user review, I feel uncanny, as if 'critics' got paid for good reviews. What really matters are the people who actually play and care about it. Really disappointed in overall gameplay and storytelling. This is clearly not what the latter part of people wanted. Will not even bat an eye on this series again.

    El juego no es malo, unos gráficos espectaculares, unas físicas casi perfectas y todo esto junto y más, forman un realismo que da miedo, pero si hablamos de la historia deja mucho que desear, plantean momentos incoherentes, un desorden en la trama y errores inaceptables. Sinceramente, comparado con el primer juego es una vergüenza narrativa que deja mucho que desear a los jugadores.

Al principio pense en solo ponerle un 5 o 6 pero decidi no darle importancia a la historia en si y solo sentrarme en el gameplay, y la verdad por lo menos esta entretenido pero su final da esa sensacion de que todo por lo que pasaste fue por nada digo si por un lado la trama no es solo la venganza de ellie, pero por el otro te lo van dice y dice cada 5 minutos que para al final te digan que "no, la venganza mata el alma y la envenena" no entonces para que? Pero el gameplay esta entretenido por eso un 7 la historia un poco floja y al inicio toma mucho "poder" sobre la sexualidad de ellie en lugar de hacerlo como en el dlc del uno que eso sea algo aparte que se sienta como una subtrama pero siento que te lo ponen en la cara los primeros 30 minutos.… Expand

This game is littered with political propaganda that doesn’t fit the narrative that was originally laid out in the first game. To find out that a character we played as for a majority of the first entry, isn’t even playable... just to be replaced by a flat out unlikable character, feels incredibly disappointing. The visuals don’t mean anything if the plot is this mishandled by a company that once put themselves at the top of storytelling. Shame on the writers of this pile of trash.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
