    This should have been the continuation of what could have been a great franchise with legacy characters. Good story telling has been abandoned here and replaced with identity politics just for the sake of pushing an agenda while disregarding already established and beloved characters.     Full of political correct in end of civilization.

    Joel died like a fool, brutally killed by one who he just saved.

    Asian lives do not matter.

    Abby killed Joel without hesitation, though she was just saved by him. While Abby killed all her partners, friends, brothers and sisters in another similar situation.

    As long as you forgive someone killed your father and your wife brutally, despite you have killed hundreds of innocent people including pregnant woman for revenge, you are still a good girl with shining heart.

    There are more disgusting messages in the story.

    Terrible and horrible.

    While media still attacking players who give a 0 score, saying they have never bought and played the game. They avoid to talk about the story, except for IGN Japan.

    It does not make sense to defend the story like that, I mean, people don't need to eat **** to know it's ****.

    I give a 10 score for the quality of the game, including music, control, graphic and others. -10 score for the story, which is the soul of this game. 10 - 10 = 0.

I played the game, I am 4 hours in. Game play wise, it's ok. Graphics are nice. Killing the infected is entertaining. However, my problem is that I loved the relationship between Joel and Ellie in the last of us 1.In the last of us 2, this relationship is non existent. In fact one hour into the game Joel is killed off in one of the most insulting and pointless ways in video game history. Why did naughty dog go with this? Heck I would love to know. What we are left with is a story between ellie and her love interest, Dina. This feels very forced.... Almost shoved in for political points. It feels cheap, out of place, and insulting. What does this have to do with the story? I wanted to see me of Joel and Ellie. I did not get to see more of Joel and ellie. They killed Joel off in the first hour of the game, it's sincerely making me question why I continuing to play this game. My advice, I don't think it's worth spending the money on this one, wait for a sale. As it is... This game ruins everything you appreciated from its predecessor.… Expand

    After the first game, a true masterpiece, many years have passed. Nowadays feminists sjw and other categories are trying to destroy all the good that various fanchises like star wars, ghostbusters, marvel, disney did in the past. So they reverse all the franchises and put feminist masculine main characters to kill the standard white male patriarch. This is absurd because all the franchises we love from the past have nothing of discriminatory. but feminist and sjw are obsessed and will follow with their agenda in the next years. Trying not consider this political aspect, the game itself is garbage. In fact the story is ridicolous. In the begin you kill joel in a bloody way, next you play the role of the monster who killed him. You are obbliged. Next you play ellie to revenge him, you kill hundreds of people and innocents. At the end you save ebbie and let himher go. This is no sense. So the entire plot is created only to promote the sjw agenda, nothing is logical. The gameplay has nothing more than you can expect, the game is also repetitive, and you play the role of a character you hate, that make choices you don't agree with. The graphics can't save such bull **** On the other end we see Sony new double standard. LGBT SJW FEMINIST GAMEs can have nude and sex por.n scenes. If you don't agree then you are homophobe. This game takes every opportunity to reward you and spits in your face instead beginning, middle and end. I can not believe how bad it is. Misleading trailers, No rewarding story beats. Drukkmans on a power trip, self inserting himself into the game as the character who spits on Joel’s dead body and has sex with the person who killed him.

    I really hope that the homophobic hate this has received pre launch doesn’t overshadow the genuine hate the game is receiving post launch for it’s terrible creative decisions. It’s like Drukkman just wanted to spit in our faces for loving the first game.

    I can not justify anything that occurred nor can I justify giving the game anything but a flat out 0 on principle alone.

    Been a Naughty Dog fan boy since day one. Crash was the most played game of my childhood and the Uncharted series my favorite of all time. Lou part 1 was probably the greatest story telling game that most of us had ever played with incredible emotional connections to the characters. All that said, I’m extremely disappointed with part 2. I hope that the negative honest reviews continued to pour in. If the writers of Lou 2 continue to create content for naughty dog then my days of loving and enjoying this company are done. Video games are supposed to be a grand escape from the SJW bs that is constantly and forcefully pounded into every other aspect of our lives on a daily basis.     Get woke, go broke. A terrible follow up story to the first game, completely destroying any emotional ties you had with the main protagonist. Minimal improvements to game mechanics. TLOU 2 is waste of time to invest in, and should be viewed as non canon fan fiction, along with Game of thrones S8 and the The last jedi.

    I have never seen anything like this... the trailer was completely different from the game and the amount of politics in the game made me really sad.

    I was looking forward to playing the sequel of my favourite game but what naughty dog did is inconceivable.

I don't think I have ever been so pissed at a game's story in my whole life. So basically a He Girl kills one of the most beloved protagonists in gaming history with a golf club, there's a sex scene that not even god would ask for, and an ending that says **** you, I don't care that I made you waste 25 hours of your life and made you feel like **** for something that happened when you were 2 hours in the game. I feel like I have been betrayed by ND like John Snow. Yes, I did love the graphics and I am extremely excited for the future games to have this kind of graphics. The gameplay was pretty good too. But goddamn, this story just made me do a 360 turn, bent me over and shoved all of its terriblenesses up my ass. Especially for a prequel to a game that made me cry 4 times. Literally 4 times! I can't believe how I got jebaited so hard. I mean, have you seen the people reacting to Joel's death? You can literally see the pain in their eyes. I don't even think that it's worth by brain energy to THINK about the paid reviews to be ND's only shield for this game. I would rate this game a -20 if I had the chance. The ending of this game is a joke! it's something to laugh about whenever you hear it. How the hell are you gonna spare the person who killed your father figure in front of you?

    Well if you made it here in my "review" that I'm sure every gamer is thinking about right now, then I want to actually give my true review, in less than 58 words.

    This game is nothing more than a time-waster and plays with your feelings like a fiddle. We were lied to by Neil and Naughty dog through the trailers, and they played with our emotions to see one of the most iconic duo in story gaming, Joel and Ellie. But cross out the Joel part with a golf club.
