    Well mixed feelings on the game. Stunning graphics and soundtrack still amazed on how you have all out done yourselves. I don't agree with the story I don't like it , it had some serious potential but kinda flopped. Still it wasn't the best you gotta understand all the time and effort that was put into it but as I was saying didn't enjoy it as much as I thought it was gonna be but stillWell mixed feelings on the game. I understand why the game got hate after Joel died, but we all knew it was going to happen. otherwise, the story was great with a lot of unexpected moments and twists which makes the game interesting. I still think the ending should be a multiple-choice to kill or let Abby. Graphics are 10/10 all the way throughout the game. But the thing that takes my score to 9 instead of 10 is the waste of 10 hours playing as Abby… Expand

For me this game was amazing, I know it’s like a bandwagon to hate on it because of killing Joel and the supposed “crappy writing.” Yes there could have been more expansion of narrative on some parts to flesh out the story more but overall the story and gameplay where amazing. This game is not a story of happiness, it’s a game that shows you the consequences your actions have, to many people don’t care what they do in video games it’s just complete the objective no matter the cost and move forward, that was the entirety of the first game as Joel, kill everybody in your way to get Ellie to the fireflies and then kill all the fireflies to save Ellie, those actions have repercussions and that’s what we deal with in part 2. Naughty Dog wanted to show the players that even though you play as a character and love them, that in your eyes they are the hero and are amazing, their actions are not heroic, their actions are not without consequences. That’s why I actually grew to like the dual narrative of Abby, it’s not a section to make you like her and her group, it’s a section to make you see the lives you are ending, the dogs you may be killing in the game, it’s to show you the weight of what Tommy and Ellie are doing by killing all those people, and yes the WLF aren’t saints either but they are humans with their own lives, ones that go to the gym or some may have children in school. This game wants to open your eyes to the other side of your actions, where as you may see them as validated, the people on the other side may see you as a monster. For this reason I see the ending as needed, it was not Ellie’s right to kill Abby, if she had killed Abby then the game would have been for nothing, nothing would have been learned and then it would have created a truly bad game, but in her not killing Abby it shows that Ellie has grown and that she knows what she does can have consequences, that if she kills Abby then later Lev could take revenge and later down the line kill her and cause another wave of violence. The game is meant to end the cycle of violence created by Joel in the first, it’s meant to show for new beginnings and for a hope on the future. For that I continue to love Naughty Dog and their ambition to create such raw and emotional games, ones that make you think on a deeper narrative, not just kill until you get to the next location and kill again until you finish the game. I applaud them for taking such a huge risk and succeeding with it, and I can’t wait for any of their future projects.… Expand

Graohics, sound, animation, gameplay, responsiveness, all feel amazing. And works wounderfully! Even reflections in mirrors and water were kinda tripping me out So story...it is passable, the motivations behind characters actions make sense within the context of this post apocalyptic world. Even if certian things characters did that i did like, aka Abby killing joel, having played Abbys side it makes total sense she'd want to kill joel. The ending. Well i didnt hate it. I certianly didnt like it, but i dont think it was bad. I just didnt like how it ended but yet again it made sense for the world and story. Overall though there are a few things that just seemed a bit kinda shoehorned in, or that its inclusion didnt make enough sense. And abbys section felt the most guilty of this. Biggest question, why did she suddenly have such a massive change of heart just because they saved her? A change of heart, sure. But it seemed way to overblown and drastic and felt a bit too forced. They could have done a better job making it seem a bit more believeable. Then again it took place over like a day and a half so eh. By the end part of the game i can understand their closeness by that point of course. Just happened to drastically at the start imo

    Fun, passable, mostly enjoyable story. Kinda drags in some areas, but overall it isnt as memorable as the first one. But i did enjoy this one thoroughly. Ill for sure be replaying it to platinum, but not sure if id play a 3rd time. Though if complete enhanced for ps5, yeah id play it again. I gave it a 8 because it is a pretty good game. Isolated from everything external to the game, its very good as a game. It is a bit rough around the edges. But i honestly can see other peoples criticism of the game, and i can understand why they felt that way. But for me i did enjoy this. Not as much as the first, but i am very happy with the overall product.    … Expand

    Desearía nunca haberlo jugado ya que es tan malo que arrasa con todo lo que había logrado en una primera entrega ,que fue mi juego favorito, por eso su nota cae aun más. Sobre el personaje de Abby, nada que idecir lo que es otro desacierto, ni te encariñas ni lo odias, irrelevante.

I thought it was an outstanding game, the graphics were amazing the level design seemed more realistic and I thought the ending fitted Ellie’s character I gave it an 8 because I felt like some parts coulda been better like abby”s section coulda been split up or shown sooner Because personally I felt like it dragged quite a bit when I got to Abby, their were certain parts while playing as Abby I found interesting but other than that it was quite slow and repetitive.… Expand

If you are into a gripping emotional story and rollercoaster ride than play this game..Yes Joel dies but it fuels Ellie in my opinion that's the point, it definitely was a hard pill to swallow. Than you play as his killer, I hated it for the first 2 hours of playing Abby but ended up enjoying my time with her. I feel the world wasn't ready for this game. The game does have some issues with the flow of the game but besides that, i enjoyed it.… Expand

Ive been feeling this entire game.... it was pretty intense, for someone whos empathy runs on ultimate, I was feeling for these characters the whole time. It was a beautiful game. I actually really enjoyed the story. Characters IOh man. I finish The Last Of Us 2, what a whirlwind. I'm sad. Because it was all around just hella sad... so ill be feeling that for a while. 12/10 for me.

    Also. I think it entirely depends on your personality and character how you rated this game..... Morales. Beliefs. Level of empathy.

    ALSO. Ive read a few places that it glorifies violence. Its violent as hell. But its SUPPOSED to make you uncomfortable. I started off feeling that revenge and anger and it very quickly changed at the halfway mark...to where it become painful to kill/be violent in situations you could more or less avoid.    … Expand

    This game is a masterpiece and not all of the gamers can understand and feel the great and complete story behind it. The gameplay is 10/10 the graphic is the best and the characters are what they really are.

Ich kann die Kritik von den den anderen Usern gut verstehen, weil nach so langer Zeit habe auch ich mehr erwartet besonders am Ende des Spiels. Das Spiel hat eine echt schöne Grafik mit geilem Gameplay welches mir persönlich extrem viel Spaß gemacht hat. Die Story war irgendwie packend besonders der Anfang und dann scheißt es rein. Besonders Abby zu spielen hat mich so Getriggert ich hätte 100 mal lieber mit Ellie weiter gemacht, das hat mir nicht so gefallen aber da muss man halt durch. Sie haben einfach viel zu viel Hype um die Story gemacht aber das Gameplay die Animations damit haben Sie zurecht geworben das sieht einfach son Nice aus wenn man jemanden Sneak Killt die Gesichter sehen einfach nice aus mit den Emotionen. Natürlich waren wieder die Jumpscares hinter den schmalen durchgängen dabei, und auch andere aber die waren eigentlich Gut außer das die mit den Schmalen durchgängen relativ oft passierten. So jetzt widme ich mich der Story nachdem ich da oben einfach ohne System los geschrieben hab. Die Story hat echt viele Plot holes gemacht dat werdet ihr auch in anderen Reviews lesen sogar sehr oft. Diesmal war es nicht deine Mission Ellie zum Krankenhaus zu bringen sondern Joel´s Mörder umzubringen. Dabei erkundet man Zahlreiche Gegenden mit Zombies oder Menschlichen Feinden die man auf eigene Art bewältigen kann. Rein in die Olga oder einfach alle Stealth Killn oder komplett ohne Kampf durchsneaken(ist nicht immer möglich glaube ich) die Story Endet echt mies aber auch irgendwie Verständlich muss ich sagen. Mir persönlich hat das Game übelst Spaß gemacht und war kein Fehlkauf, ich weiß die anderen Leute sind Save nicht meiner Meinung aber is ja meine. Das Spiel bekommt von mir 10/10 wenn die noch einen Multiplayer rausbringen da hätte ich übelst bock drauf am besten ein PVE und ein PVP aber beim PVP auch zombies auf den Maps das würde warscheinlich auch die anderen das Spiel dann besser bewerten lassen.

    So danke das ihr mein unnützes Review gelesen habt (hab einfach mehr Geschrieben als ich je gefühlt in einer Klassenarbeit früher geschrieben hab)    … Expand

    Technically this game is made very well, the graphics are great and the gameplay is enjoyable too, The combat is realistic and these things do need to be praised, there are parts of this game which are worthy of standing next to the first game but this game is held back MASSIVELY by the story.

    To be brutally honest it was one of the worst stories i have experienced in gaming, the way they treat characters from the first game is disrespectful and brutal, the pacing is completely off and it feels like they are genuinely trying to make you either angry or sad all the way throughout the game, there is so much more i could say but that would involve spoiling the plot, the story is such a big factor in this franchise that no matter how good the gameplay and graphics are i cannot give this game a good score because i felt nothing but anger, disappointment, sadness and a feeling of emptiness at times.

    The ending of this story also made the whole journey feel pointless and also left me feeling very unsatisfied, to me this game could have been one of the best of the generation, it feels like the design team pulled out their A game but the story team wanted to go a route which would divide players for the sake of being different but not only was this route definitely not one they should have taken but it was also implemented very poorly indeed.

    I waited a long time for this game and feel nothing but anger and disappointment from the game's story even though the combat was enjoyable and the graphics were nice to look at.... despite these two good points of the game i still couldn't fully appreciate them because of the story of the game.

    I will also say it was nice to see naughty dog implement little hints of positivity towards the lgbtq community and also the inclusion of a trans character, i know some people believe this was forced a bit but i see it as a positive part of the game, it's just a shame that of all the games to do this it was one which ultimately released as a big disappointment to me and many others. i just wished this game could have had a story even half as good as the first one, then it would have been something special.    … Expand

    I find the story and approach to be unique. Most people just hate the idea of the main character being killed and the game ended at the point, i just dont agree with that.

Last of Us is a nitty gritty game and Last of Us Part 2 focuses on that grittiness, there are no happy endings in a post-apocalyptic dog eat dog world, and this game highlights those problems and issues facing people in this world. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay much smoother than theI thoroughly enjoyed this game, the story, despite the leaks and backlash, was IMO well done. Last of Us is a nitty gritty game and Last of Us Part 2 focuses on that grittiness, there are no happy endings in a post-apocalyptic dog eat dog world, and this game highlights those problems and issues facing people in this world. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay much smoother than the first. This game will make you feel, whatever way you feel is up to you, will you be frustrated at the character's decision? Yes will you be upset with the controlling of certain characters? sure but i think that's the point of this game. It is meant to make the player feel uncomfortable and to engage in something outside of their comfort zone. If you want a game to lay back and play and veg out, this is not the game for your. If you want a game that will linger after you play it and make you feel, then this game succeeds. I personally trend to the latter and for me i thoroughly enjoyed this game.… Expand

    A good plot (think of the characters not as simple heroes-villains, but as individuals), memorable characters, but not so many changes in the gameplay compared to the previous part.
    If you are burning from the ending, then congratulations, you are too small or stupid to understand the picture as a whole)

    It took me around 27 hours to complete, and it was an emotionel rollercoster, forcing me to do stuff I didnt want to do, but also had some of    I loved almost every moment of this game!

    I would have loved some more open world areas, and Im dissapointed that there was a map introduced, but you only used it for such a small section of the game.

    Graphics, animations, acting and everything was just amazing.
    I cant wait to replay this sometime in the future on the PS5.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I thought the story was great- I think the characters act as they would have before and as such won't discuss that in this review. This is exactly what I personally wanted from tlou2. I enjoyed the introduction of new characters and liked following someone outside of Ellie and Joel's bubble, who had a wildly divergent background and perspective. Dina, Jesse, Yara and Lev, in particular, were charming and I wanted to see more of all of them. I empathised with Abby a lot and while I wasn't personally invested in her love triangle with Owen and Mel, I did like the protective role she took over Lev. To me, it felt reminiscent of early Ellie and Joel interactions and I liked it a lot. Their interactions made me laugh- Lev was pretty dry and I liked it. Abby's arc allowed for a thorough exploration of Seattle and the war between the two cults that controlled it which is removed from Ellie, which some clearly disliked but I enjoyed it- it felt meaningful and interesting, from the teachings of "the prophet" and the "sky bridges" to the resurgence of the Fireflies. I loved the character designs for all of the characters and the world design was outstanding, as to be expected of Naughty Dog.

    My only issue was zombie continuity- I wished there were more zombie variants, for example, I wished that Santa Barbara and Jackson had a different zombie variant similar to Seattle's Shamblers. I felt disappointment seeing a shambler in California after the characters theorised their formation was due to the wet climate- climatic mutations would be believable after 24 years of the cordyceps existing in the world. Also, only one in-game character model existed for the shamblers and bloaters. Hitting two shamblers with a mine would make them both fall to the ground, perfectly synchronised, completely breaking immersion. The Rat King was a very cool concept, but unfortunately not very grounded in reality which might be to some people's tastes but not to mine.    … Expand

It's clear the team making this game chose to prioritize small moments to reward players with technical beauty and some of the best (painstaking) attention to animation detail. While elements like gameplay and story are somewhat subjective, it's clear that exceptional technical skill made this game possible on PS4.

    People who played the first game feel like the narrative of its sequel is too forced, doesn't match the characters, and doesn't include characters they enjoyed the first time around. I would suggest that--if you are only interested in this game for the plot--to watch someone else play the game or just read the synopsis. This sequel does require you to know the general plot of the first. There are enough hints in the introduction to get you up to speed, but the rest of the story will feel a bit like reading someone else's yearbook.

    Simply put, if you enjoy shooting/combat and puzzle-type gameplay, pretty graphics, and a dramatic-for-the-sake-of-being-dramatic plot, you've got yourself a great game to spend time on.    … Expand

The graphics were amazing and the gameplay was good the story was decent I didn’t really mind how joel died I think the way he died was more realistic than for example a hero movie.     Gameplay (10)- New mechanics enhance the experience of fights and although I don’t like killing dogs (RIP Alice) I liked their addition as a new challenge to play around

    Joel’s Death (5)- His death fit well into the story and the themes it tries to tell. The only reason I find it so difficult to see and play is because I love this character so much and his death isn’t exactly pretty. When Ellie turned up I felt like I was the one pleading for Abby to stop

    Abby (7)- I didn’t mind playing as Abby. I found the parallels between her and Ellie an interesting addition and I liked the insight to the WLF vs Scars. Also who doesn’t like playing fetch. But that sex scene was weird like where did that even come from.

    Lev (8)- I really enjoy Lev and Yara’s story. Although having Lev kill his mum seemed a bit extra. Felt he had enough trauma already but I can live with that.

    Ellie (7)- I love Ellie but I probably love the first game Ellie more. Some of the decisions she makes is just frustrating like stay at the farm! Although her letting Abby go I wasn’t mad about because I didn’t want Lev to be alone going forward in the story.

    Ellie & Dina (7) - Some flashbacks being in different areas could have helped the relationship feel more real but I liked the patrol action with Dina at the start of the game a lot

    JJ (10)- We defintally know who the dad is.

    Overall that would give the game an 8. Although I enjoyed the game (as well as the story) I still found the ending and other aspects to be very bittersweet. However, my favourite parts of the game were the flashbacks, the new Ellie style of combat vs Abby’s punch infected to death technique and the guitar was also fun to play around with. The game doesn’t deserve the hate it gets I didn’t find it to be that bad. For me the origional was a 10 and is still better than this game plot wise but that doesn’t mean this game is bad.    … Expand

    One section did seem a little too long for me but the pay off at the end was well worth the journey. The lines are blurred between the good and the bad guys and at the end I still don't know who was right or wrong. Maybe everyone was in the wrong?
    TLOU 2 far surpasses the magnificent original IMO and there's been talk of a 3rd game although where they will go with that is a mystery.

    Please pay no attention to the review bombers on here, pick this gem up and prepare yourself for one of the best storylines in a game. You won't be disappointed    … Expand

I play most games for the story and, to me, a great game is one that leaves you feeling like you don't know what else to do with your life after finishing it. The way you put down the controller as the credits roll and you don't want to do anything else but pick it back up and play it again because I just can't handle the feeling of the journey being over, the dreadful feeling of having to come back to reality and live my actual life. That was certainly a feeling that The Last of Us Pt. 2 gave to me. I thought that everything about story, the characters, the pacing, the way two different stories converged into a heartbreaking climax was all just wonderful. The combat hadn't changed a whole lot from the first game but, if it ain't broke don't fix it. There were some small changes but, I thought that all of them were positive changes. The game is graphically fantastic and there are some really beautiful and really beautifully dark locations. If you've read this far you know that some people have had a problem with some of the narrative and the themes of the story but, we are all different people and, i'm here to give my personal opinion. I've never posted a review on a game like this in my whole life and, after having the experience I did playing this game, I feel hurt to see people trash it. You can clearly see how much love went into making this game because of all the little details like for example the physik of the ropes (they interact with the arms and the guns of the character) or the snow which melts from the blood of the enemies and so on. I really enjoyed playing this game. There are so many cutscenes and dialogues which are just optional and the stories told from the papers lying around are just as awsome as in part 1. The combination of stealth, gunfighting and discovering also really made the experience great and never boring. I also really apreciated the story. I loved it that there wasn't even a real stereotypical villain who is just evil because he is evil. The perspective of Abby also made sense. I don't understand why people are just hating Abby, even though she lost more than Ellie. She lost all of her friends and her dad, while Ellie "just" lost Joel.… Expand

    If you like the first one you undoubtedly need to play the second, the reviews are accurate, it is definitely a 10/10 masterpiece. I’m pretty much done, just the epilogue left, and it was an incredible experience.

    I liked it better than the first, and the only thing keeping me from replaying it immediately is Iron Man VR comes out in 2 days and I really should build up my VR legs.

    Everything was perfect for me on this game (gameplay, graphisme, environments) except the story... I really waited to know the rest of this beautiful story after 7 years, but I'm so sad and dispointed of what you did and the problem is I think we buy The Last Of Us for the story mainly.

    The gameplay is much improved and more dynamic and less same-y than the first. There are some over-done mechanics in the game however (falling through the floor again?!), but it isn’t enough to warrant much detraction.

    The graphics & sound are both breathtaking and unnerving at the same time, complementing the tone of the game perfectly.

    The narrative direction & pacing taken in the game revealed bit-by-bit how the main characters came to be how they were. The way the story was delivered kept me wondering (I had thankfully avoided spoilers), it broke my heart, inspired anger, hatred, rage, but also provided me with moments that inspired love and joy as well. The careful, deliberate and intricate inter-weaving of narrative threads coming together in TLOU2 enables the player to see from multiple perspectives, encourages empathy, and gives a deeper insight into complex characters and the deep emotions that has driven their (sometimes questionable) choices. Like the overall tone of the game, you are often faced with discomfort from the actions of the characters –at the end of the day, however, they are human, not perfect.

    I would have liked to have a bit more choice at pivotal moments in the game (particularly towards the end), as I think it would have had a greater impact to have to think through the consequences of my own actions. Then again, I am not certain that the outcome would be as powerful as it was. Just like the original, this is not a “feel good” game, but a thoughtful one with a compelling story to tell.    … Expand

Gameplay has not evolved ONE BIT from the first game.

Tbh you could right a whole godamn analysis essay on this game because of how many little details and parts you need to do more then just understand on the surface. This game is so worth the money and was the first ever game I preordered. So many bad reviews you see on the internet all come from dumb people who saw the leaks and rated the game based on it. I want to address the things that people picked out to hate on. 1.Joels death:
    People were mad that their beloved character from the first game was brutally murdered and said that he should have died a “heroes death”. One thing we need to remember is that JOEL was NEVER A HEROE, he murdered all the good people, the actual “heroes” who were trying to make a cure!!! And story wise it just wouldn’t have been as compelling if it had been another character that made ellie set out on her quest for revenge. If you pay attention to what Joel says before Abby beats him, you know that he knew this day was bound to come after all the bad things he’s done. 2. Feminism being “shoved down people’s throats”: I really don’t know what to say to people who had this opinion. Of course everyone’s allowed to have their own opinion but WTF people. I’ve been around the internet reading reviews and watching them. What I’ve found that people who complained about this were all straight white males. Here is me summarizing the comments people have made:
    A. Why do you need a lesbian. Why are they shoving this down our throats B. Same as above for trans people
    C. omg CAN I JSUT POINT OUT ALL THE MALE CHARCATERS DIE , someone needs to point it out!!!!!!

    Here’s what I have to say:
    These people do exist in our society, so they’re not shoving anything down your throats. This is called representing minorities. This IS NOT A POLITICAL AGENDA. Apparently MAKING S FEMALE CHARCATER WHO are BUILT MUSCULARLY IS ALSO MAKING A POLITICAL STATEMENT. The game even explains WHY SHE TRAINED HERSELF TO BE THE WAY SHE IS. BUT NO ONE PAYED ATTENTION BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO BUSY HATING ON HER. In conclusion, because this game doesn’t follow the conventional video game characters aka white men bashing **** it gets hate.     I found myself constantly amazed with the graphics and the gameplay. I would even make my family members watch me play for 5 seconds so they could see how realistic everything looked. You can tel so much hard work was put into making everything. The scenery was fantastic and the gameplay was definitely an upgrade from the first game. They worked similarly but small things like being able to go prone, hide in grass and even perform and jump kill made the experience so much more enjoyable because it pushed the stealth element even more!! God my favorite thing is Playing the game again because the better and more familiar you get with the game the more fun it is creeping around and killing your enemies quietly. That was a 10/10 for me. 2.Story
    I didn’t give this game a 10/10 because of the story. However this was not because you had to play as Abby. Ithought that playing as Abby added so much more to the game. I remember hating her so much when I first started playing as her , I even considered not playing. But the more you played as her, the more you find the parallels between her and Ellie. At the end When ellie set out to kill Abby the second time, I found myself saying that I didn’t want her to die. We were put in her shoes and we realized what motivated her, what made her happy and what made her sad. So I grew to love her as a person, her character growth was something that made me feel warm, especially when she said that Lev was her person. However, the game was a little dragged on mainly because of the closer look we had of the conflict between the WLF and the seraphites. I found that it didn’t really enhance the story or the main characters much. The whole part where lev returned to find his mom felt unnecessary and while fun to play, really distracted me from the main story. That said the game also strayed a little from survival horror and became a lot liek an action adventure. I remembered saying to myself out loud a lot “is this UNCHARTED??!” So for me the story was like a 8/10

    Overall, I really loved the game even though some parts were hard to sit through. I really don’t think you should judge this game before playing it yourself. This game really takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions and when you finish the game you might just like me feel a completely different feeling from when you began. Then main issue is trailers showed JOEL ALIVE! but he gets killed two hours into my game play. Thus far whole store was annoying but I thought hey maybe it gets better. Let me slug thru it. No... It was horrible. Like I am done with this series. Traded the game in and laughed at large stack in game store of trade ins of this game alone.

    Honestly if I were this writing team. RETCON this game and start over. This has made your studio look bad... I should have listened to reviews but I thought hey let me give it a shot.

It is brutal and to be honest, to dark and violent at times, but it is layered with memorable characters even to the point of Naughty Dog putting players in the "shoes" of what would be considered the antagonist. More like a 9.75 because of some spongey bosses and the narrative does jerk to a hault in the middle of the game (necessary for the story but annoying in the moment). Ultimately the game picks back up when the switch happens. Anyone saying this game is below a 6 or 7 is insane. Even if you hate the story the gameplay and craft are exceptional.

    The world of The Last Of Us is filled with horror. Nobody comes out happy on the other side.
    I 100 % support and love the story decisions that naughty dog has chosen.

    Last of us is a unique game and without equivalent today.
    Last of Us can speak to the hearts of the men and women who play it.
    Last of us is a game that questions you and exposes you
    Will I make the same choice as Elijah?
    Will I go so far in violence and hatred for revenge?
    Can we just accept everything because this world is cruel and merciless to anyone?

    I do not have the answer to these questions but in any case I asked myself. And that is, for me, the real success of this game: Transcending the video game to directly reach the emotions of the player.

    Let's talk technical: The game is the most beautiful of its generation currently.
    And more particularly the animations. They are impressive in truth and intensity. I invite you to bring your attention to the faces and hands of the characters, The detail provided is stunning, you can feel each emotion of the characters in the expression of their gaze.

    The expression of Elijah when she kills an enemy or gives a blow, when she looks in the mirror, when she speaks with other characters, all these details allow to fully appreciate the care and work performed on this game.

    The sound environment is a central element of the game as was that of the 1 ... It is sometimes discreet and sober, we simply hear the wind and nothing else and sometimes it plays the role of heartbeat of the game. play with our nerves.

    The gameplay is mastered, it is version 2.0 of the gameplay of last of us 1 and does the job completely. Let's talk about the angry subject: The scenario.

    For me the scenario is good because the message is coherent and it brings a real questioning, it takes us out of our comfort zone and it tries to disturb the player in his certainties.

    To fully understand the script, you have to understand the double narration put in place by Neil Druckmann.
    We talk about hatred, revenge in a cruel and merciless world, where anyone can lose their life at the bend of an alley and without any form of greatness, just cold and brutal death.

    And we (the player), we must accompany a character in the worst side of humanity because in the end, who is good or bad in this type of world?
    The concern of the scenario is the rhythm which is given to it.

    The second act is, in my opinion, "heavy" because the element of surprise has disappeared.
    Nevertheless, it allows you to discover a character that you want to appreciate despite the atrocities of which she is capable.

    And the genius of this game is there, the paradox of characters full of hatred and cruelty for those who set out on their way but who are ready to give their lives to protect their friends, their families.

    And the game pushes us to enter the minds of these characters, even if it means getting lost.

    For the various concerns related to the rhythm and the backups (oh if this automatic backup is replayed !!), I put the note of 9/10. This is my reason note.

    For all the emotion that this game gave me and all the pleasure I had to find Elie, Joël and new faces, I put a note from the heart: 20/20.

    Now, I would like to raise a problem: the review bombing.

    We have the right to hate a game, we have the right to resent it because it has disappointed us but we cannot harm a game for the wrong reasons… and it's the wrong reasons everyone knows them: Trolls without much human value have expressed their hatred against LGBT communities.

    As a reminder, the game contains kissing scenes between Elie and Dina and in the world of last of us you can see flags and lgbt tags.

    All this "LGBT" content combined, this represents 5 min… 5 MIN OVER 30 HOURS OF GAME !!

    I'm tired of seeing our society governed by trolls, homophobes, racists ... They are invading video games.

    As a passionate player, I cannot tolerate that we dirty the work of a studio, that we destroy the message of a work and that we obscure the theme of a game just because of mediocrity… I make you a solemn request: Play Last of Us Part 2 while being invested and let yourself be transported / MAKE YOUR OWN OPINION! The magic and charisma that the first game had it is now gone in this game, it is a shame to admit that not all games are just as good as its graphics.     The gameplay combat-stealth arena loop got in the way of the story once or twice, other than that i was completely blown away by presentation and story. It's fun, yet depressing.
    Bleak, yet enjoyable.
