The only reason I am even writing a review is because there are so many bad reviews for this game with statements like "marxist" or "SJW's ruined this game." Tons of reviews out within hours of the games release. I played this whole game blind (I didn't read any of the leaks/ no spoilers) and finished the whole game prior to review. 26 hours. The story is gritty, it breaks your hear in several places. It shows graphic violence and very adult situations. It was tough to watch in couple places but so very worth it. The game play is good and the enemy AI decently well done. The sound and music isn't overdone and it fits well into the mood of the game. Graphics are phenomenal and in some of the take downs its like you can feel emotion from someone who is being killed in front of your eyes. Some scenes are flat brutal. Joel's death and the final battle between an emaciated Abby and a near mortally wounded Ellie is pretty rough. Not a game for the faint of heart. I will say this if i could i would give it a 9.5 just because i found it to be a very easy game. On the normal setting it felt more like easy and if i could restart my play through at hard I would. If you consider yourself a "good" gamer play on hard.

    Finally to see people so upset about someones sexuality is simply sad. Don't let close-minded people tell you this is a bad game just because it offends their sensitive nature. If you played the first last of us then play this one. Give it a chance it is truly a very very good game.    … Expand

I find that the newly created animation, the ability to throw objects to stun them temporarily to disarm characters is a very welcoming addition to the gameplay and graphics. As well as now Zombies will attack each other given the right circumstance, it's just such an endless amount of possibilities that you can do because of this new engine.

    When i first heard about the leak of the game that was so beloved to many, I wanted to watch and see the spoilers. Then I slowly started seeing youtubers hating on the game, and then saying that "Naughtydog is in trouble" or "Naughty Dog is bad" or just anything negative to say about this incredible team. That's when I decided to experience the story for myself without any spoilers, so that I will give the game a chance without any influence from any external sources.

    Then I started playing the game. At times, I have the marvel at the incredible graphics they were able to achieve on the playstation 4, and the level of detail is unriviled, including PC titles cranked to the max. I mean, watching the physics of the backpack bounce around is just an attention to detail that I have not yet seen before. The foiliage moving around the character is still yet unriviled in any game yet... But on to the story, which in my opinion, is masterfully crafted. It made me feel so many different emotions, throughout the game, and made it seem that this revenge cycle only gets people killed. Granted, people play games to take them out of real life, but I feel like the approach to revenge is so realistic, people hate it. The problem is that they're hell bent on what's black and white, that they don't show enough empathy to see what they've been through. In the end, who is right and who is wrong? The people who follow through on their revenge is wrong, and they are severly punished for it. The people who are able to let go of all this rage is able to grow as a person. I think it's not your typical hollywood story where there is a clear indication of who is good, and who is bad. But this game has me wrecked at the end, making me feel the same feelings at the end of the first game: I don't want to kill this doctor but I have to save Ellie. ironic how you're doing the same thing with Abby towards the end, but it ends in a much happier note.

    I personally think Ellie is the villian in this game because she did not help anyone but herself. At least Abby aided her friends and the 2 Seraphite kids. Ellie was just hyper focused on revenge.

    I think people couldn't get over their hatred for Abby, and they powered through the game hating to play the character they hate, so everything that she did that was good, was already unsavable. But at least you get to make that choice yourself, whether or not what she has done is a good deed. The story of this game is so complex, I think the reward that Naughty Dog was waiting for did not pay off. It is so advanced, and we, as gamers, are not mature enough to see things from different perspectives. I think Naughty Dog could've just made "The Last of Us Part 2" soley focusing on Ellie and her revenge, and made another game called "The Last of Us Part 2 - The Lost Chapter" talking about Abby, but by then, if people see an Add on, they may be turned off to it, or forget what Abby did, and could not tie the stories together. But to me, this was a masterpiece in just showing that it's never black or white.

    Going back to some backlash about "Imagine John Wick never being able to revenge the dog". Well imagine if that Dog killed your only child.    … Expand

    El juego es muy bueno grandes graficos una inteligencia artificial muy buena con un gameplay muy inmersivo y con una historia que no es como la primera pero que no arruina la experiencia, gran juego que no puedes dejar pasar al ser una de las ultimas joyas de la generacion muy recomendable.

At the same time they tried to force me into accepting unknown people over them, just because they were capable of heroic deeds as well, or because they also could relate to me in some other way.

    Makes me feel like the first game is pointless and also, I hate being stabbed in the back... Although a well thought stab would be appreciated, this game makes it feel forced just for the sake of teaching a lesson, as of which I feel like the OG characters ended up suffering more. (Or maybe I don't know the new characters enough for me to care as much).

    I choose to give this game a 4 because despite the terrible story telling and the small improvements on the gameplay, I feel like the team behind the visuals, the sound and the voice acting, did a tremendous job!

    But just like Druckmann said, he knew a lot of people would passionately hate this game, and that is why I choose to erase this one from my memory.    … Expand

Part 1 was about killing to protect what you loved whereas Part 2 is about ending the cycle of hatred and letting it go! Even as you play Ellie throughout the game, you will start to question what you have done. It is definitely heartbroken when seeing the two fight, who have lost nearly all they have in the seek of vengeance. To a large extent, Abby is an another self of Ellie and Lev to Abby is what Ellie to Joel. The two girls have some much more in common. I like and pity both of them for their fate. Overall, I would say it is a risky try for Naughty dog but definitely worthwhile for the game community and we need it!
    Not even mention its game-play experience. More cooperative, smart, yet brutal AI enemies, more diverse enemy types and more weapon and crafting options just drive this game to a whole new level.
    The game will be rated differently depending how you expect this game to be. If you decided to treat it as a thought-provoking literature and taste it nice and elegantly, you won't be disappointed.    … Expand

    Rythme : Je le trouve très mauvais. ND se permet de briser le rythme de son jeu par pur égocentrisme, pour imposer au joueur leur travail sur les animations ou autres, au détriment du joueur qui devient un simple spectateur.
    Ce n'est vraiment pas la vision de jeu vidéo que j'aime. Un jeu qui fait le choix du monologue plutôt que de s'adresser au joueur. Un jeu qui balance des miettes de gameplay régurgité du premier jeu, sans aucun renouvellement dans sa boucle en + de 20h. Un jeu qui est certain que l'on va subir sans broncher, persuader d'être intouchable avec sa technique remarquable. On arrive à un point ou la différence entre regarder et jouer au jeu apporte la même expérience. Cela donne vraiment l'impression que le joueur dérange le jeu.
    Je lui donne un six pour sa violence graphique et sonore qui démontre un certain courage. Et pour sa technique irréprochable bien que je pense sincèrement quel est surtout pressente pour satisfaire ND qui peut étaler son argent que pour satisfaire le joueur.    … Expand

    Honestly, I LOVED the story. It really hit me and I've been pondering it all week. It was complex and made me feel connected with the protagonists as every person in the game had valid justifications for their actions.     The story was great. The animation was mind-blowing. The acting was just incredible. The outdoor environment was absolutely beautiful. The cinematics were fantastic.

    Cons: Sneaking around the enemies and looting houses seemed too repetitive without as much variety as I would have liked. I appreciated how there was more racial diversity with the zombies... but it seemed like they all bought the same generic shirt at Target. lol There wasn't too much variance in body type either. What if you had an OP zombie in a wheelchair or chubby ladies and some chubby guys? Add some personality you know?

    Switching my weapons was too slow and resulted in frustration, especially when in a life or death situation. I felt like accessing my inventory was an unnecessary frustration.

    But seriously... I enjoyed this game. It was great. And I'm excited to see more people speak up once they've completed the story. I definitely recommend it 100%

    Finished the game this weekend. A masterpiece! I really don't get the hate for the game. I think most people hating the game didn't even play the game. This game is a rollercoaster of emotions, drama, action, psychologic madness... I hope ND keeps making these games! Thanks ND...

    I find the game very impressive , it has it's own plot holes and cliche's but totally it's really a good game. From it's unique narrative ( depends on how you understand the message of the story) 8/10 . The newly added cameplay mechanics and it's combat fluidity 9/10. Soundtrack and sound design is 10/10. Finally the astonishing graphics, every detail of these game is a 10/10 no doubt.

    If you want to walk away from this game feeling like you just watched Requiem for a Dream or Manchester By the Sea on loop for 24 hours, then by all means go ahead and play it.

    Extremely average. What made the original interesting was the choice at the end, it was cool to play a game where you were the bad guy; but the "wrong" decision Joel made at the end of the first game was a decision most people would make.

    The graphics are great, the gameplay is okay (Similar to the original, leaving much to be desired) and as before the music is fantastic. The story is a very disappointing followup. Character's motivations are odd, and out of character nearing the end of the game. The pacing is odd at times, trying to weave together two stories meeting at some point.

    It was impossible to follow up the greatness of the original, but this doesn't even come anywhere near furthering the legacy. If you want great graphics and decent gameplay, I'm sure you'll have fun playing the game, but I'm certain you'll feel as unfulfilled as I did 6 hours into the game, all the way through to the end. If a sequel were to come out, I just can't get excited about a ND game again after everything I loved about the original was butchered.    … Expand

    You'll see lots of negative reviews here. Many of the things that are criticized in part 2, are also found in part 1, which isn't receiving that same criticism by those same people.     This game is an emotional journey that will challenge you to reconsider your thoughts and feelings throughout the game. The story is on par with part 1 with some interesting twists. Graphically, this game is amazing. The environment and all the details are breathtaking. It's actually kind of a bummer this game wasn't created with the PS5 in mind, as I would've loved to have seen how that would look.

    Gameplay-wise, it's solid. If you liked the gameplay in part 1, you'll like the gameplay in part 2. The same mechanics are there, with some extras. It's smooth, but I did find myself searching for the right buttons when I was shooting several people and my gun was empty, for example. Might just be me, but I'd have preferred to switch to the next gun automatically. Also, some parts of the game were stretched a bit and made me think "not again please" (I had the same with part 1 and basically all Uncharted games).

    All in all, this game is really solid and will leave you thinking for a while. Would definitely recommend.    … Expand

    I refused to look at any leaks to get a completely blind experience, and it was so worth it. People complain about the story but, in my opinion, it really wasn't bad. it was different than the first Last of Us experience, but it was still faithful to the raw, gritty story they tell. Some of the characters were rather bland in my opinion (Mel, Dina could've used more character progression too, especially for how important she was to Ellie), but Abby in particular was garbage in my eyes until i got to see other sides of her that you wouldn't expect to see. You learn that she is a human with complex emotions (not just some cold murderer), she's capable of being kind and showing compassion, you can tell she's changed by the end and so has Ellie. It was important to play as Abby, despite what people say, to understand her motivations behind killing Joel. The murder was not unfounded.(although it was rather uncharacteristic of Joel to let his guard down like that) This, I believe was done with the means of adding depth to the decision and let the player see insight into this new character. The story, like the first one shows growth in characters that make the Last of Us so special. The final fight between Ellie and Abby at the beach had me at the edge of my seat, I could feel my heart race in anticipation for the outcome. My only wish is that we could've seen more into the Seraphite's story and what they believe, how the war between them and the WLFs started...etc. Definitely wished Naughty Dog included one of their holy scripts for us to look at as an optional artifact (unless they did and i missed it.)

    You will not like this game if you're homophobic, or transphobic. However, contrary to many's misguided beliefs, the story is not about a "LGBT agenda" but is rather about revenge.

    Gameplay was fun too, was like the first game but improved. It sucked that when you switch over and play as Abby your skills and weapons reset but at the same time you get different stuff for your load-out which gives some more variety to the game.

    9/10 one point deducted due to some character blandness, and some out of character moments for Joel and honestly Ellie.    … Expand

    They could have beautifully moved forward with the story without over emphasizing on the LGBTQ. Lev, Abby, and Ellie .... great characters ... could have been much better.    … Expand

This game claims to be against violence, yet nothing until the very final moment of the game even remotely supports this. Surprisingly enough, I did not mind the brutal carnage at all. The only positive thing about this game is that, unlike the first Last of Us, this game provides a believable context for the dark imagery, callous violence, and pessimistic viewpoint of the main character and supporting cast. The violence is justified in the eyes of the main character and you really feel the rage and empathize with the protagonist. I have never before in my life been invested in a revenge tale. This was the very first time I truly felt a burning desire for everyone who wrongs the protagonist to die in the most barbarous fashion possible. This desire is potentiated and made possible by everyone who wrongs the main character to themselves be nothing to admire or empathize with. The supporting cast of "antagonists" are just as flawed, thirsting for violence, and lacking in higher moral ambition the way the main character, Ellie, is. This makes slaughtering them not only feel good, but it is also very organic and contextualized properly within the game. This game was an absolute masterpiece in every way shape and form until the final moments of the game, which was so ludicrously awful, and such a let down that I wanted to call Naughty Dog myself and complain. In one split second in the end, the masterful gameplay, the dazzling visuals, the perfect survival horror and tense combat elements, wonderful dark cinematography, bone-crushing sound, and near-perfect production values, were all negated by the biggest buzz-killer and disappointment of an ending I have ever experienced in a game or in any type of medium in my entire life. Ellie sparing Abby is not only disappointing, but totally out of context. She sacrificed everything, killing hundreds of people, leaving behind the only person who loves her(Dina), leaving their home and new child, and having nothing left to live for except her final push for revenge. Then, she chooses to spare her?! Nothing in the games message, its own personal lust for revenge, or any context provided by it or Ellie could possibly support this act. By the time the sparing of Abby happens she already is past the point of no return and must see it through for all that she has lost in the game to be worth it. Ellie is not some saint to be redeemed at the time of that final moment. She's already killed hundreds of people, denied herself a future through the compassion of the woman she loves and who can provide her some semblance of grounding in reality and happiness, torn across state lines in a self-destructive path for revenge, and made it very clear to herself that she will as she puts it "Kill every last one of them." As I said before I never thought I would be this invested in Ellie and Joel's revenge but I was. I'm always against violence and brutality and believe in the power of forgiveness and moving on. However, due to no ones fault but Naughty Dog, the revenge and violence was so believable and in context and I never thought I would hear myself say that I savagely enjoyed every slaying of the "antagonist cast" in all of its brutal and revenge-infused violence. This is in part due to the fact that the antagonist cast is not very strong on moral high-ground either. They are just as deserving to die and repent for their selfish engagement in warring with other factions than Ellie is. I wanted Abby to die with all my heart I was literally mashing the square button in a desperate attempt to kill her by drowning, yet when I almost drowned her, the game forcefully robs you of making your entire journey through the game worth it for you the player and worth it for Ellie ,who on top of losing everything loses 2 fingers and cant even play Joel's guitar anymore. She is left with nothing and killing Abby was the make or break point for this game. This game could have been one of the very best games ever made if naughty dog did not upend the entire worth of the game with that sham of an ending and final moments of the game. Way to go naughty dog for breaking my freaking heart and robbing me of an experience I invested 60$ and 30 hours of my time into. This could have been one of the greatest games of this console generation or possibly of all time. Way to go Naughty dog, you should be ashamed of yourself. Did you forget your loyal gamers whom you have a responsibility to? you must have. Yes go and collect your blood money from the numerous sales. I loved this game, and I hated this game, let's get a few things out of the way, like standing at the base of the pyramids and truly taking in the effort taken to create them, the graphics made me want to cry. The animation was outstanding, I spent 10 minutes watching kids play in the snow.

    All of these things made me really enjoy the story, the scenes with Ellie and Dina at the start, really drew me in, the facial animation being so good I truly felt for the characters more than I have perhaps in any game before. The 'incident' wasn't really a problem for me, I felt when playing that they perhaps needed a radical shift from the norm. I was prepared to give them the respect they earned from me with the first game.

    Upon finishing the game I was happy and blown away, so all in all I loved it, however I started to read the negative feedback, and I have to say I can't disagree with any of it. I find myself asking was this the best the game could have been, and I think if you ask that, it has to be a no.

    A lot of the things that made the first game great are gone, for me the pacing was all over the place. There is so much time spent in dark offices with just a flashlight, that really feel a bit tacked on. The first felt like gameplay and story were perfectly blended, now it's a bit of gameplay then a bit of story. There are hardly any set pieces, pushing a car, hanging upside down etc.

    Although playing as another character and the result that has on the story was great in my opinion, I found it hard to really warm to them and enjoy playing as them. My advice would be play it with an open mind and enjoy it's good bits.    … Expand

    I played the whole game just because of the lies from Neil Druckman, Naughty Dog and Sony. It is not so important, what your own opinion on this game is but to lie at your costumers to sell your stuff can NEVER be a right way. So i won´t get my money back so there is only one consequence: Don´t ever again buy anything where Druckman is involved.

La gente quería venganza, eso es lo que promociono siempre naughty dog desde el teaser trailer, la trama es MUY lenta, no cumple con la promesa de ser una secuela que es sacar dudas del primer juego, la muerte de Joel fue un detonante de tanta polémica, lo matan muy rápido y sin ninguna razón que te la dan hasta 6 horas más del juego, el objetivo de esto es darte odio a los antagonistas, querer siempre la venganza que tanto te promocionaron por tanto tiempo, la historia de Ellie es buena, va bien, pero simplemente cuando te toca jugar con abby te hartas sabiendo que tendrás que jugar 8 horas con este personaje que te mete en asuntos que al propio jugador no le importan, esta bien que te hagan empatizar con el antagonista, pero enserio no era necesario 8 HORAS DE ESTAR JUGANDO CON EL ANTAGONISTA, te quita la narrativa de estar jugando con Ellie. En cada momento que estaba jugando con abby solo quería que acabara para poder seguir jugando con Ellie, cuando por fin llegamos al 4to día, me di cuenta que ya llegamos al final del juego, no se cumple con la promesa de cobrar venganza, claro que esto iba enfurecer a todos, el final es a la vez lenta y rápida, de Seattle te llevan a una granja donde ya Ellie y Dina viven felices, luego Ellie se arrepiente y decide ir a matarla por venganza porque se quedó con el remordimiento de no haberla matado, vuelve a hacer todo un viaje para no matarla, justo cuando la tiene en sus manos para acabarla, decide perdonarla y dejarla ir, por mí este es buen final, la gente no se lo tomo bien por el simple hecho de que a nadie le gusto la narrativa de abby, a nadie le importo su personaje por hartar a la mayoría de los espectadores, la solución de esto pudo haber sido acortar su jugabilidad y contar lo necesario de abby para empatizar con ella, pero como dije decidieron alargarla para que “empaticemos” más con ella pues no funcionó por el simple hecho de alargar, como por ejemplo ya estas harto de leer esto porque está crítica es muy larga (Gracias por llegar hasta acá). La muerte de Joel fue demasiado rápida, siempre pensamos que podríamos incluso tener un poco de jugabilidad con el, pero su muerte fue demasiado apresurada ya que naughty dog quizo que fuera el detonante del odio a abby y su grupo, la mayoría odio esto (me incluyo) por darnos muy poco tiempo con Joel, claro que hubo buenos flashbacks con el pero queríamos un presente con el, puede que sea obvio que iba morir pero lo hubieran hecho al menos a la mitad o más adelante de la historia, no tengo idea de cómo concluir esto pero es más que entendible porque la gente odia esto, por simple hecho de no cumplir con lo que se esperaba y prometió el final de la primera parte. La jugabilidad es buena, no muy diferente a la primera pero si superior, en cuanto gráficos exprime todo el poder de la PS4 así como lo hizo la primera parte con la PS3, animaciones perfectas y expresiones faciales que sorprenden incluso a los ya experimentados con las gráficas realistas, muchísimo más brutal y realista a la primera parte. En resumen y conclusión: naughty dog se esforzó demasiado para hacer perfección que lo terminaron haciendo una decepción.… Expand

    Bought this game on release day without having been spoiled and finished it in 3 days on Hard mode. Last of us part 1 was my favourite game of the last decade so had high expectations. I absolutely loved it and a week later still find myself thinking about it and all of the stories it tells. I don't want to wait 7 years for a part 3! Thanks to ND!

    The game begins to be boring in the second half, while playing for Abby. I was expecting another from the game. Open world is not open (center of Seattle). For me, the game ended on day three in Seattle for Ellie. Everything that happens after (Farm) is not even like The last of us. For me, 1 part remains the best.

I completely lost interest in gaming for so many days, that was the extent of frustration I had with this game.

    Now, you have no idea how much it sucks for me to say all of this because the original Last of Us game holds a dear place in my heart, it is one of my favourite games of all time and I've been dying to play Part II ever since. As you can see, my patience was rewarded with something so incompetent that it completely fails to capture the soul of its predecessor in nearly every aspect. Instead, it acts as a clone which tries to bask in the glory of its predecessor while making a mockery out of it.

    If Naughty Dog's motive was just to make loads of money and completely divide their loyal fanbase, then congrats! They did a fantastic job, they created a typical blockbuster in terms of total sales. However, if their purpose was to recreate that magic from the first game, then it is like I mentioned earlier, they screwed up.

    This is an ENORMOUS DOWNGRADE from the previous entry, it doesn't deserve to be a sequel to The Last of Us and that's why I'm giving it the lowest possible rating.

    Naughty Dog treated this sequel like a new IP and experimented way too much with it. They changed things that didn't need to change. The base material was completely altered. Moreover, a certain new character is forced upon us, or more precisely, shoved down our throats.

    We wanted more of The Last of Us, we wanted more of Joel and Ellie and we were deprived of that.    … Expand

I thoroughly enjoyed this game, the visuals are stunning, the controls are VERY clean, the game-play loop is fun though can be a little repetitive due to the nature of the game (it's a stealth game, of courses there's going to be a TONNE of stealth). The story while I didn't ENJOY in the same way I would the story of a fun action movie, was irrefutably good. I've seen a few other people's reviews on it and their complaints mainly focus on the fact that they didn't want to play as Abby, especially when fighting Eliie, and they claim that character motivations and actions conflict. To the first point, i say, you're not meant to, Abby was a character introduced to us KILLING JOEL, we are meant to hate her, making us play as her is there to deepen the fact that she isn't JUST the evil we see when she kills Joel, not (like i've seen most assume) to make us like her.

    To the second point I can partly understand where they're coming from, but I didn't encounter that conflict when I was playing, it was only when watching other's reviews that I thought 'oh i guess it could be seen that way'.

    A good illustration for what the story did, was in the last scene with both Abby and Ellie, i didn't want to kill Abby. Not out of empathy or because i liked her, but because of the frankly pathetic state she was in, 'life' had punished her enough at that point, and pushing it further would have felt gratuitous. This arguably could be attributed to the frankly incredible character design going from one of the buffest people in-game to, well, the state she was in at the end but even so it was still effective.

    All in all part of me feels like the immense hate for this game, from the people who have played it, stems from wanting to hate it and seeing small things and taking stances that make them feel much worse. I wouldn't say this is better than the original, or even close, but I would say it's a hell of a lot better than a lot of other games out there and was well worth the cost.    … Expand

The studio made a game meant to have a deep of impact on the gamer, with every single battle, with every plot point, through all the anguish filled moments you live and survive to, a message about how pointless revenge is, how grey humans are as living beings, how there are no heroes and how important it is to forgive and give your life a better meaning... it all strikes the sweet spots. Very few times a game lets you reflect on yourself, your life, your traumas and all the anger and remorse you might feel about your own mistakes. At the end, it serves to me as some kind of thought and deep therapy to come to an end with my own demons and ghosts. Bravo!… Expand

    Вам просто нужно поиграть и проникнуться новой историей, я ставлю игре 10 из 10.
    Даже в плане сюжета, да, мне как и всем обидно за смерть Джоэла и за такой финал, но автор так видит и дал достойный конец этой истории.

This is one the most complete and lore filled story driven games I have seen. By the end of the game, the narrative makes you feel connected to every character. I found myself realizing that this isn’t a game about good guys versus bad guys. It’s just a story of people making hard decisions and having to navigate the consequences of their actions. This however makes the ending hard to navigate, I’ve read many reviews about how the ending sucked and was disappointing. The way the narrative unfolds, constantly blurring the lines between who is in the right or wrong, makes it impossible to write an ending that makes everyone happy. Overall it is emotionally complex and compelling, regardless of what you think about how it ends.… Expand

But to me personally it's the gritty side of this game what makes it a piece of art, and not just a game. A few points of criticism. If you look around a bit too long, the characters will help you in the right direction too quickly. I prefer to sort things out myself. You can turn off the hints, but even then you're taken by the hand too much. The companion is also getting in your way too much. If you're in cover for example, they often take the same place, pushing you out of cover.
    I don't give it a 10, because no game is perfect. Although I should do it to respond to all negative reviews. But I give it a fair 9, which it really deserves in my opinion.
    My advice, stop reading reviews and play the game yourself. I am convinced whether you like the story or not, the game world, with all its details, alone is more than worth it.    … Expand

Si tuviera que elegir un mensaje es 8,75. Me gustó muchísimo, pero hay una parte de la historia que no me cierra, en realidad no es la historia, pero es con quien jugas, y por mucho tiempo.     The storyline has been discussed by everyone playing the game. While there are disappointing plot decisions, this is often the case in some of our favourite movies - not everything is sunshine and rainbows!

    Overall I think this game deserves more credit than what people are currently giving it. I get that people are saddened and disappointed by the story but sometimes when we look back at these decisions, we often realise the significance to future storylines (if naughty dog get another shot...)

    Definitely not giving this game a 10 due to some minor annoyances in terms of gameplay mechanics and some personal preference in terms of the types of games I enjoy. However I believe it is a journey that others should embark on.    … Expand

Dan, suatu percubaan yang mantap untuk pihak Naughty Dog terutama bapak Neil Drogba selaku creative direktur (koreksi saya kalau salah) yang sudah komitmen untuk menciptakan permainan yang masterpis ini dari setaun The Last of Us dirilis (kalau ngga salah). Salah satu contoh yang konkritSaya beri nilai 10 karena Game ini sudah memiliki tingkat kualitas dan cerita yang luar biasa ajigila. Dan, suatu percubaan yang mantap untuk pihak Naughty Dog terutama bapak Neil Drogba selaku creative direktur (koreksi saya kalau salah) yang sudah komitmen untuk menciptakan permainan yang masterpis ini dari setaun The Last of Us dirilis (kalau ngga salah). Salah satu contoh yang konkrit dari statemen diatas adalah fitur bermain gita yang terlihat seperti bermain gitar beneran. Bahkan ada pemain yang mengcover lagu Semua Tentang Kita dari band Peterpan

    Selain pembuatan game, dalam pembuatan karakter - karakter yang mantap sekali, sangat unik seperti Ellie yang suka dengan Dina yang pernah dihamili oleh Jesse (mantan pacarnya), karakter Abby (It's Ma'am) seorang 'wanita' anggota Suzuran yang baik hati, serta anggota housen yang bernama Lev yang katanya dulu seorang wanita berganti jadi anak laki - laki, dan yang terakhir merupakan karakter anggota Suzuran bernama Owen yang memiliki selera yang 'unik' dengan melakukan adegan bercinta 'Abby'.

    Kalau saya membahas tipe - tipe grup yang ada di The Last of us Part 2; di dalam game ini, terdapat dua grup utama, yaitu : WLF (Washington Liberation Front) yang merupakan komplotan bersenjata yang menang melawan pihak militer beberapa tahun yang lalu. Yang kedua adalah grup Seraphite (ada yg bilang Scars), dimana para membernya berkepala botak (seperti Housen di film Crows Zero 2 atau mungkin easter eggnya) dan member wanitanya tetap berambut (dengan gaya mahkota) yang mana para membernya sangat berbeda jauh dengan WLF, mereka mengandalkan gaya combat bergaya ninja dan persenjataan yang tradisional. Nilai plus dari Seraphite ini adalah mereka meminimalisir komunikasi mereka dengan 'priwit' (whistle) yang bervariasi.

    Secara overall adalah percubaan yang sangat mantap, mungkin game - game lain bahkan yang mungkin mau menyaingi game ini belum tentu terpikirkan untuk menciptakan ide masterpies seperti The Last of Us Part 2 lakukan.

    Mungkin dari kalian yang penasaran kenapa saya kasih nilai 10/10, jangan tanyain saya. Tetapi, mainkan saja game nya atau nonton dari para youtuber seperti Qorygore atau Ewing Xp. Keren dahh pokonya.

    Menurut observasi saya, minusnya dari permainan ini adalah ceritanya yang mungkin di awal banget sangat - sangat keliru yang menyebabkan 'Abby' melakukan kesalahan pada target yang ia bunuh. Yang seharusnya Ellie, melainkan pelaku pembunuh bapaknya Abby, si Joel Miller. Kalau misalkan Ellie yang ia bunuh, akan terlihat lebih masuk akal. Sehingga menimbulkan "cycle of revenge" yang lebih diterima oleh akal sehat para user.

    Terakhir, untuk Naughty Dog. Kalau mau membuat teaser ataupun trailer sekalipun, please jangan sampai clickbait bahkan mengganti karakter Joel jadi Jesse seperti adegan Ellie diditutupin mulutnya. Kalau buat trailer, buatlah seadanya, ngga usah nipu para pemain lah. Aku pun dah hampir naik darah nengoknya juga.    … Expand

    Story takes divisive and surprising turns that test your emotions throughout the entire play through. I loved the way it made me truly think about how I feel and gave me the choice to see things from a different perspective. Completely understand that this won’t land with everyone but I strongly recommend you stick it out until the end to make your mind up!

    La atencion al detalle de naughty dog es increible, animaciones increibles, mejores combates, físicas, la inteligencia artificial de los enemigos es muy buena, una historia emocionante y adulta, un duro drama muy diferente a los visto en otros juegos.

    TLOU2 não é um jogo sobre SUPER HERÓIS, que sempre o lado do protagonista vai vencer... É um jogo sobre PESSOAS COMUNS e na vida é assim nesmo, nem sempre tudo vai dar certo, nem sempre vai ser como a gnt quer.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
