    Un juego excelente en CASI todas las categorías, buenos gráficos y gameplay exquisito que retoma y mejora mucho del primer juego, simplemente hubiese preferido otra historia o una mejor contada y estructurada y no algo forzada
    Pero de igual manera fue una buena historia con un buen enfoque.

    The game had a really good way of establishing that, in the World of the last of us, there are no bad guys or good guys, theres Just preople trying to sur vive, hence, the ending. I truly believe This game is a very, very, good sequel to its predecesor. Although right now, its facing an uphill battle.     So far its the best game. The writer is very smart till a point where he controls your emotions toward any character! Gameplay + graphics + sound effects are insane.
    Definitely game of the year.

    just finish the game... man what journey, A story full of complex emotions. I remember sinking into my chair watching the end credits with this feeling of......of nostalgia. Por otro lado siento que se toma muy enserio la temática de una mayor exploración en la ciudad de Seattle y las perspectivas que se toman desde el hecho de dudar si somos los buenos o los malos… Expand

Although it requires some serious emotional bandwidth to hold the characters in your heart in spite of truly terrible circumstances in choices they are forced to make, This is masterful storytelling. I put this against any post apocalyptic revenge tale in any genre. The gameplay, the graphics, the challenge set inside a story this compelling, mature and engrossing isJust Finish the game. Although it requires some serious emotional bandwidth to hold the characters in your heart in spite of truly terrible circumstances in choices they are forced to make, This is masterful storytelling. I put this against any post apocalyptic revenge tale in any genre. The gameplay, the graphics, the challenge set inside a story this compelling, mature and engrossing is the pinnacle of gaming.     What a beautiful game, full of incredible landscapes, realistic and brutal combat, and complex emotional turmoil. There aren't enough words to capture the epic details of this experience and I can only implore you to experience it for yourselves. Huge thanks to everyone involved in this masterpiece I will certainly be replaying this game over and over in the years to come!

Al inicio del juego al ver los gráficos, me agrado de inmediato, tan solo en la transición de cinemática a pasar a jugar Me pareció bien, no pude notar casi ningun corte en ese aspecto.
    Pasando a jugabilidad, me pareció bien las mecánicas que se implementan.
    Ya pasando a la historia del juego, no me pareció mal, deecho estuvo bien implementada, solo que no se especifica que este juego no es para todo publico, va dirigida a un público más maduro.
    Y por ultimo las cosas que en lo personal:
    1. No me parecieron del todo bien fue que joel muriera, claro, quiero pensar que a la mayoría no le agrado la idea de que el personaje principal de la entrega pasada muriese, pero es entendible, ya que sirve bien para la mecánica que tiene el juego de venganza, este es el motor que arranca la travecia de ellie.
    2. En lo personal no me gusto controlar a abby durante tanto tiempo, se entiende que el juego quiere que empatices y te pongas en el lugar de este, pero creo que llegue a empatizár mas con lev y yara, creo que si hubieran reducido a la mitad el tiempo de uso de abby y hubieran ido mas al grano sobre cual es su motivación y lo que había pasado esta, hubiera estado excelente.
    Conclusión final:
    En lo personal yo siento que este juego va dirigido para un público más maduro y que si bien no es un juego de 10 yo le daría un 93, ya que este logra su cometido al momento de que matan a Joel te dan la sensación de enojo y angustia,de hecho está muy bien logrado lo que quieren transmitir. Otra cosa es que siento que la historia la pudieron hacer más corta si hubieran ido un poco más al grano a lo que querían dar entender y ya por último para no hacer esto más largo el final al principio no lo entendí pero pero ya recapacitando durante un rato según lo que yo entendí es que ellie perdono a abby por que En ese momento tuvo un recuerdo de Joel en el cual él no estaba muriendo era como la parte bondadosa que quedaba en ella, Ya que si prestamos atención en el juego se muestra que ellie se siente culpable al matar a gente lo cual es muy diferente a Joel en el primer juego ya que el podía matar a mucha gente con tal de salvarla, ya por último cuando Elli vuelve a la casa que tenía con Dina ve que está vacía y se da cuenta de lo que perdió por querer cumplir con el cometido de su venganza, Al subir a la segunda planta ve que Dina dejó todas sus cosas incluida la guitarra que le regaló Joel y al no poder tocarla a falta de sus dos dedos recuerda la última vez que pudo hablar con Joel donde está le dice que no sabe si podrá perdonar, pero que le gustaría intentarlo Y así ésta se marcha dejando la guitarra que es el único recuerdo que tiene de Joel, En señal de que Ellie pudo perdonar a Joel.
    Segun lo que yo entendí.
    Ya como lo comenté anteriormente si bien éste no es un juego de 10 yo en lo personal le doy un 93 ya que tiene sus puntos buenos y malos y cada quien tiene su punto de vista.    … Expand

    Grafica ottima, comparto tecnico ottimo, sceneggiatura superlativa. Il lavoro di Nauthy Dog è semplicemente scioccante, un ottimo titolo. Alla base del titolo ci sono i sentimenti più forti che costituiscono l'uomo come tale. 9 perchè la perfezione non esiste, piccolissimi bug e gameplay dinamico ma lineare del punto di vista della componente stealth. Chapeau.

    This game is dope . If you liked the first one ... most likely you will love this one . It’s a part two . One thing I’m sad about is it’s not as “cinematic” as the trailers they showed in e3 , but !!!! I’m still having a great time with it .. the story is compelling... I’ve almost beat it ..     The Last Of Us 2 is a *Decent* game but a TERRIBLE Sequel.

    This game has great gameplay and some of the best acting, animations, sound design, graphics and immersion that gaming has ever seen. However the story is one gigantic mess and it sh**s all over your favorite characters from the main game and features some GoT Season 8 Character Logic. And even if you ignore the terrible    The Last Of Us 2 is a *Decent* game but a TERRIBLE Sequel.

    This game has great gameplay and some of the best acting, animations, sound design, graphics and immersion that gaming has ever seen. However the story is one gigantic mess and it sh**s all over your favorite characters from the main game and features some GoT Season 8 Character Logic.

    And even if you ignore the terrible intro (which is by far the biggest fu**up i have ever seen any devs do) the game still isn't great. There are massive pacing issues with multiple moments that are extremely slow and boring, and HALF the game is literally nothing but constant Flashbacks. (it even has a flashback inside of a flashback) Does anyone actually like flashbacks?

    What makes these flashbacks even worse is that the first set of flashbacks remind you of what this game could have been, and then in the second set of flashbacks that stretch around 8-10 hours, you are playing as a completely different character while the game tries to justify the events of the intro.
    While i understood the reasons and didn't necessary HATE this new playable character, i still had no interest in playing as them.

    I was so tired and bored of playing as that character so i straight up stopped exploring and just wanted to speedrun through it so i could STOP playing as that goddamn character and go back to the actual main game, until i ofcourse realized that was the main game and i finished the game.

    There are so many different paths that Naughty Dog could have gone down with when making this game and for some reason they took the most non-logical and straight up stupid path. They could have made this into a brand new game that had nothing to do with Last Of Us and still been able to create this exact experience, except it would have been a phenomenal game.

    And for being a post apocalyptic zombie game there sure are very little Zombies and way too many romantic scenes... There is nearly 0 focus on the infected in this game which is a damn shame because every encounter is incredible.

    I am very disappointed in Naughty Dog for ruining THE number 1 story game of all time.

    The only way to enjoy this game is to never play the first one and know absolutely nothing about the characters.    … Expand

    This is one of those games where a sequel should not exist. Yet, it's here. The trailer for this game pointed a story in a completely different direction, should I say misleading? So, how should I rate this game? What is this game even about?

    It is a game where gamers are more interested in the story rather than the gameplay itself although the two are pretty close. Yes, the graphics and combat are high up there, but that is to be EXPECTED since it's a sequel. What needs to match up is the story! And that is where it falls apart.

    I do not care about the situation behind the writing of this game, what they presented is all that matters. And what's presented is garbage. It is a story of duality, one where Ellie is on a supposed downtrodden revenge quest while Abby learns to sympathize others(??). Some critics say that Ellie's quest hurt those around her YET, her friends are the ones that THEY THEMSELVES go with her. Abby's companions are persuaded by Abby herself...

    Imagine seeing a revenge story UNFULFILLED. It's like watching John Wick not killing the last person or something. Also, a game with flashbacks within flashbacks is not a good story. Ending the game with a flashback is not a good story.    … Expand

    This game is a masterpiece. It's story and the messages it crafts through it's narrative and the gameplay are important and could not be better conveyed via any other medium. The last of us part 2 also one of the most incredible examples of worldbuilding I've had the pleasure of experiencing. The manner in which Naughty Dog has realized post apocalypse Seattle is breathtaking.

    I never analyzed as much and entered a story as in that game, without less than appreciating the great games in history, I think I stumbled upon the one that surpasses all.
    I am not going to develop something that everyone already knows, it is brilliant.
    With that expectation I waited for the second and I did not spoil myself of anything (serious error).
    Had I known they would spit in the faces of lovers of the former, I would never have bought this insult to such a masterpiece.
    I am not bothered by Ellie's homosexual relationship (what's more, I think he makes a beautiful couple with Dina), I am not affected at all by the Trans character of Lev, nor the constant grievances towards the figure of "man" itself. What did destroy me psychologically (I had to lend the PS4 because I hated controlling a sadistic assassin) was the horrible narrative and its disastrous ending.
    I can't believe the thousands of mistakes they made in creating this. Not even Star Wars or Terminator Dark Fate left me with a pain in my heart and mind as broken as you are.
    They lost a fan and emotionally damaged me. Until always Naughty Dog. You died for me the same way you killed Joel.

    No me molesta la relacion homosexual de Ellie (es mas, creo que hace una hermosa pareja con Dina), no me afecta para nada el personaje Trans de Lev, ni los constantes agravios hacia la figura del "hombre" en si. Lo que si me destruyó psicologicamente (tuve que prestar la PS4 porque aborrecí controlar a una asesina sadica) fué la horrible narrativa y su desastroso final.
    No puedo creer los miles de errores que cometieron al crear esto. Ni siquiera Star Wars o Terminator Dark Fate me dejaron con un dolor en el corazon y la mente tan destrozada como ustedes.

    i think what annoys me the most, is that people got so annoyed by the leaks they became way to close-minded and stubborn to appreciate the good things in the game and ended up hating every single thing about the game rather than keeping an open mind and just experience the direction the devs decided to take it, even if they dont like it. you should rate a game depending on    [SPOILER FREE]

It may not be as good as the first, but it isn't as horrible as everyone is making it out to be. personally, i'd say it's definitely worth a play through because its still hella fun and u might be taken by surprise if u play it urself rather than watch a streamer complain the whole time.
    That being said there are some issues with the game, mainly pacing and some story parts are kinda pointless - but it's better to experience it urself and come to ur own conclusion rather than some angry gamer ranting on the internet without true justification.    … Expand

Don't listen to all the children trying to ruin the game for other people because they are immature/homophobic.     Pros:

    1.Beautiful game graphically, truly amazing and a nice end to this console generation

    2.Beautiful soundtrack and ambience

    3.Fantastic Mo-cap and voice acting, as to be expected give the actors and ND's previous games

    4.I really do love a game that respects the power of a firearm even if combat aiming is a little jank

    Cons:

    1.This is a story driven game that is awfully paced and a slog to get through

    2.The combat/stealth loops in this game are extremely repetitive and after 7 years does not feel like its evolved enough beyond a go prone option.

The story being told here is one some may feel unnecessary after the pretty definitive ending of the first, however The Last of Us Part 2 makes itself feel very necessary with the simplistic story idea but the twists and turns it gives you with its 25 hour campaign. I would like to address the leaks as that is a major cause of the review bombing on this site (along with homophobes, transphobia, and those who believe Naughty Dog has some liberal agenda). A majority of the leaks happen very early on, and the cutscenes are taken very much so out of context. Playing through this game, Naughty Dog concocts a rich story and rich characters. Joel and Ellie aren’t how you remember them, they’ve changed for better or for worse. Joel has grown trusting and loving, Ellie, has grown more stubborn and angsty. Both of these things feel extremely natural after the ending of the first game. Many critique Joels death for him being too trusting of Abby but after the ending of the last game you get a good sense of Joel’s change. As for Abby being a playable character, having heard the leaks I was unsure of this. Playing the character who kills a beloved character? That sounds awful! But Naughty Dog does this amazingly well. You get a fantastic sense of Abby as a character and her motivation through flashbacks and the other characters she interacts with. Specifically everything with Yara and Lev were great for Abbys character and helping me like and understand her. The Yara and Lev plotline reminded me a lot of Joel and Ellie from the first game honestly. Ellie is ruthless in this game. Every action has consequences thanks to Naughty Dogs AI interactions. Screaming the names of other enemy AI or the enemy AI screaming in pain as the color drains from their eyes. It’s brutally fantastic and makes you as a player feel horrible. I loved it! It made me feel Ellie’s character arc even more. Many have said they felt unsatisfied by not killing Abby at the end and to that I say the message of the game was never truly revenge, rather learning revenge isn’t the right answer. Abby struggles and so does Ellie. They have a very similar journey. Naughty Dog has proven to be an innovator in story telling with every game they make. This is a masterpiece honestly. Do not listen to the review bombs. The fact that how many critics gave this such good reviews should say something. This game has a story that needs to be told. It’s heart breaking, uplifting and goddamn, Future Days by Pearl Jam will forever make me cry. The Last of Us Part 2 is a masterpiece in video game storytelling.… Expand

Ellie’s was simply amazing, this story of revenge eventually overcome by the forgiveness she had begun to give Joel was a great way to wrap things up.     It's a 25-30 hours game + 10 hours of cut scenes. This game had some VERY intense game play and jump scares. But nothing beats the deep story and messages in it. I loved every minute of it. Any fan of brutal fun extreme violence will have a blast playing this. Definitely not meant for children or people with low IQ.

It was really inspired with what the game was able to bring out in me. While I disagree with how some things were handled, I respect what it worked to do; overall, I think it succeeded. It's just not as perfect as the first, which of course is a high standard to meet.

    If you're willing to play it with an open mind (and truly play through it to the end. Do NOT stop in the middle), then I highly recommend it.

    (And of course as others have said, graphics, music, performance capture, etc... all are OUTSTANDING; they're just less important to me than the story in the case of The Last Of Us, as I think is the case for most others).    … Expand

    Wonderful game. I love what they've done with the fighting and mobility. The graphics, of course, are amazing. The story is incredibly exciting. I was frustrated playing as Abby, but I really enjoyed learning about her side of that life. The ending was wonderfully satisfying. The characters seemed to grow throughout the entire game. I hope they e expand and maybe develop a dlc for Tommy.

It’s really shocking the way they make you think who is the villain, but then you realize that in that world there are no villains, just people trying to survive in a world sunk in decay. The acts of revenge and forgiveness are play a main role, they trigger all the events in the game. The ending made me feel miserable, just as Ellie, but that’s what’s supposed to happen, sometimes there are no rewards for our actions, even in our own reality.     The game was absolutely amazing, pissed me off in the beginning but the ending made the game for me. The only reason I give this game a 9 instead of a 10 is because of the amount of political propaganda in it. Naughty dog please remember that this game is about the brutality of survival in the world you created not a platfrom to push a political agenda.

Joel did diserver better and jesse too.. ellie has gone throw too much suffering, why oo why .. make her go throw more on the last two chapters.. the game should have focused on forgiveness as the base for the last part, althought it really shows what happens when revenge is everything for you, and you end up lossing everything for such a stupid thing.. and the last scene with joel doesnt really make sense.. I liked most of the game.. and abby also diserved a better ending, if a DLC is coming i am willing to try it out.. but i would have bought this game on discount.. not full price..

I just wanted an outlet to post how I personally felt playing through this game. So, a few years back (2016) I picked up TLOA 1 for the first time and I couldn't put it down. I was completely immersed in the characters, the scenery, and the plot. I would go to class and think about this game. I was so absorbed by a video game that I would daydream about the next big event in the game during exams.... I'm surprised I even did that well during that semester. Anyways, what I'm saying is that I believe that the first game was indeed a masterpiece. I played through it twice back to back simply because I couldn't get enough! Fast forward to this year. Luckily my work keeps me busy and I don't usually search for updates on a game that comes out. I was spared from the leaks and spoilers throughout my journey in TLOA2. In fact, I had no idea there was such a negative backing on this game until after I beat it! Whoever is reading this is probably thinking "how the hell did you not see or read any of the thousands of negative reviews?" well... I'm really good at staying away from reviews I guess. I think that I understand why a lot of people are angry or upset, I mean the old main character died! Joel was a character you bonded with. You grew to relate to his feelings in TLOA, and his emotions became your own. It was so easy to become attached to such a beloved character. Yes, killing him promotes awful feelings and the ending of TLOA2 might have you thinking that it's all for naught. Ellie, who lost so many people due to the gripping effects of rage and revenge, chose to spare Abby. **** I mean I was certainly filled with mixed emotions about the end. I wanted closure! I wanted to avenge Joel's death! However, as I listened to the music and I saw Ellie play that last song with missing fingers... The flashbacks to Joel and her last conversation (well second to last. The last was just her pleading and begging him to get up before losing his brains to the she hulk and a golf club) made me think that the whole point wasn't to bring the player closure. This is some serious **** that real human beings experience. Ellie was so devasted by Joel's death that she was suffering PTSD. Holy **** Killing Abby won't make Joel come back. Revenge just brings on more revenge. Revenge feels so good at first... But it just brings out the worst in a person. I've had my own feelings of revenge, I mean I've never wanted to kill someone because of that feeling, but I think the premise is the same. I felt awful going through with it because even though the other person probably deserved what they got, was it really right for me to bring someone misery based on my emotions? Probably not.

    TLOA2 brings forth some serious questions and issues about how people process revenge and anger. This game isn't just a story about a post apocalyptic world, it's a story about showing some real emotional trauma that people go through in their lives. It's exaggerated of course. This game sent me on an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. The writing was great, the characters were well developed. Every death felt like an impact or a shock. It's like you knew it was coming but you didn't know how or when. That really puts you in a suspenseful mindset, or at least it did for me. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Yeah I was sad that Joel died, but I'm not angry. I think it's dumb to be angry at a developer for making a decision in their work. What's the point of being mad? I'm very grateful to live in a time where a video game can create such an amazing experience for me. I grew to love and feel for the characters in TLOA2. Yes, even Abby had some of my sympathy. She lost her father, a hero who would have potentially found the cure to a 2 decade long apocalyptic disease.,for what reason? Joel wanted to value one person's life over humanity's future. So yeah, I understood her side. If someone killed my mom of dad, I'm sure I'd want to bring them to justice. Even if justice was through my own hands.... I'm only human. My heart would race when a difficult situation would arise, whether it be two main characters finally confronting or one of the main characters fighting for their lives against hulking enemies or infected. There was a lot of investment that naturally developed as I progressed through the game. I personally am very happy that I played the game. I actually popped open my copy of TLOA part 1 and began playing it from the beginning again. I've never had the incentive to revisit a game like I have with the TLOA series. This, I guess, is more of an explanation of my personal experience with this game and not so much a cold hard review. I enjoyed it immensely! As someone who avoided all the hype, spoilers, and leaks, I can say that this game was truly amazing. Playing through it blind was the absolute best way to play.    … Expand

    I understand some of the hate this game is getting because it’s a very polarizing story. However, for me, it tested my capacity for understanding and empathy in ways that no other medium can. It sucks that not only is this the unpopular opinion, but people get chastised for their opinion of a video game. If you played the game and hated it, that’s fine. Personally though, I loved it.

    Good graphics, amazing characters, interesting music. There's a few things (like trying to play the guitar) that didn't necessarily help with the immersive experience, but the story was so amazing! I loved every minute of it.

Honestly I don’t know where to start this game is a disgrace to the original okay Joel in the original he RAN over a guy acting hurt because he Knew it was an ambush but in part 2 he just walked into an ambush without concern it’s not that he died it’s how he died and it’s NOT because of all the lgbtq stuff that’s fine it’s the **** story and you Have to Play TEN HOURS as Abby and you don’t feel sympathetic for her so when you get to the end you just want to kill her But you don’t and Your even Forced to BEAT UP Ellie AS Abby! Not to mention the lies in the trailer I just want to delete this **** game graphics are great gameplay is just copy pasted from the original I’m giving it an 4/10 so I can even post this so bye.… Expand

    Primero me gustaria decir que the last of us 1 es mi favorito y the last of us part II lo estuve esperando un largo tiempo. Cuando llego el juego a mi casa lo jugue al tiro sin perder el tiempo, Como en 5 dias me lo pase... y puedo decir que es un buen juego. Mientras me lo iba pasando podia ver cuanto hate se estaba creando con este juego... ya que con la muerte de joel es algo muy impactante triste.... pero creo que es lo que lo hace unico, se que es muy dificl pero te hace reflexionar mucho y vivir una experiencia muy grande (si este univeso significa algo para ti como jugador). No te voy a mentir a mi en muchas partes del juego perdi la ganas de jugar pero al final creo que entendí porque... obvio te va a generar un desagrado jugar con abby , solo el simple motivo de que haya matado a joel es algo que te puede parecer imperdonable... pero en este juego no se trata de que quien estuvo bien o que estaba mal... lo que te trata de explicar es que en este mundo nadie es el bueno... por mucho que quieras pensar de que abby es la antagonista de la historia la realidad es que no lo es. He visto muchos comentarios de que el juego es malo porque trata de meterte la homosexualidad y creo que no tiene nada que ver... incluso es un pesamiento demasiado pobre y sin argumentos... cual es tu problema con eso .. te molesta?... porque si te molesta que "un" juego tenga otra orientacion sexual.. el problema eres tu. le pongo un 8 ya que no llega al 10 como tlou1 pero creo que un 8 es ideal para este juego... repito es mi opinion del juego, como fan que a jugado la primera parte y su dlc.    … Expand

    I'm really glad of the risks taking with TLOU2's story. Thank you naughty dog for enhancing TLOU1's gameplay and giving us a bold story for the 2 that really has its meanings and its emotions. It is really the essence of TLOU to get you by the guts like it did on this game. Shame on you if you stop playing after Joel's death. If you did, then you were never ready for The Last of Us 2, but only wanted to see your favorite character again.    … Expand

    The Last Of Us: Part II is depressing, dark but yet beautifully crafted at the same time. Sure, the plot has it's downsides but it doesn't stop it from being engaging and also unique in its own way of teaching the player its main message. Do yourself justice and at least give it chance, rather than bashing it from the spoilers    THE LAST OF US: PART II ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
    First Playthrough: 27hr

    The Last Of Us: Part II is depressing, dark but yet beautifully crafted at the same time. Sure, the plot has it's downsides but it doesn't stop it from being engaging and also unique in its own way of teaching the player its main message. Do yourself justice and at least give it chance, rather than bashing it from the spoilers that were leaked; you might be surprised.

    PROS:
    - Gameplay (It's improved in every way from its original predecessor and is incredibly addicting)
    - Exploration
    - Graphics and Overall Presentation
    - Sound Design and Musical Score
    - Acting
    - Impressive AI
    - World-Building and World Design
    - Story Arch and the ideal of "Revenge" in a film motive
    - It's Brutality and not being shameful to show the cruelty of the world
    - Main Characters (I feel like the leads are incredibly strong and are flawed; which makes them compelling)
    - Ending that, in my opinion, finishes this tale off perfectly and starts Ellies' true journey.
    - Settings (So much customizability and an option for people who are handicapped to play normally)
    - Platinum Trophy Difficulty (I'm a completionist and this game is quite easy to do so, unlike the first)

    CONS:
    - Pacing (I feel the momentum stops at full speed halfway in the game when the "twist" comes into play)
    - Too Long (Game should have had it's massive final climax three chapters BEFORE hand. This game really needed another script revision to trim the fat)
    - Structure (While I understand the idea of why the story is structured this way, it still doesn't work and can feel really off-putting and lazy)
    - Main Characters (Majority it's not a huge issue but there are some SERIOUS conflictions with character motivations that the game doesn't like dig through or explain)
    - Supporting Characters (While acted well, they seemed either flat or non-existent)
    - Tedious Level Design (While amazing to look at, some chapters can really drag and take triple the amount of time that it should have been)
    - Changing Weapons (This is minor but I felt that "Holding the Square Button" wasn't that responsive and I would instead randomly swing my melee weapon when trying to be stealthy)

    In the end, The Last of Us: Part II is not for everyone but for me, it was an emotional time. Although it has it's shortcomings and is defiantly not perfect, it's far from being a total mess and to me, shows that Naughty Dog is one of those companies that will take risks; even though it may divide its fanbase.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. An amazing meditation on life and loss and the things we do to protect our values and the people we care for. Also an awesome gameplay experience full of unique moments and some intensely beautiful craftsmanship.
    A fantastic game about the cycles of violence and how we attempt to free ourselves from resent and hate. Deeply emotional, tough to play in moments.

    Something to note is the unique way the game makes you question who exactly you want to be rooting for, between Abby, Ellie, or even Joel. Indeed, in my experience, I questioned how much of his actions were truly justifiable in the first game, how it affected the characters in this game, and if by the end of it if I truly had much empathy left for him.
    Even Abby, whom commits that shocking scene early on in the game, turned out to be a like-able, enjoyable character full of complex emotions and intriguing motivations.
    I have to say that I eventually came to despise Ellie just a little bit, which was no small feat on the developer's side.
    This is a game that is occasionally hard to swallow because of the situations it puts you in, wherein you feel positively unwilling to continue on with your acts, which is partially why I suspect so many people have negative feelings towards it. I say that if a game could actively make me root for someone I thought I wanted to kill off early on, it has truly achieved something special.
    There is this idea that a piece of media has to be comfortable to be a masterpiece, but I think this game has absolutely shattered that concept, becoming a true example of video game art.

    It's a game I don't think I could come back to for maybe a year or more, because it feels so finished and heavy, but I do suspect that I'll be eating my words in a week or two.    … Expand

    In general, i love the controls, the graphics, the world. But the characters and the story are really bad, i dont know why they make this in this game. i know neil druckman wanted to express his opinion or ideas but not force it. Or go in little pieces. I know they arent going to change anything, but please make something with this. dont leave this series like that.

    For me is a great idea to make you play as the "villain" and i know how mutch the community loved Joel as character, but if you pay attention to the construction of the plot you will understand why the game got this resolution.
    In conclusion you can have your opinion about the story but you really can't say this is a bad written plot with bad written characters    … Expand

Los personajes están muy bien escritos, que hasta llegas a empatizar con ellos, incluso si algunos son del bando contrario. Las gráficas de este juego son tan buenas que disfrutas cada escena y lo bien que se ven, tanto las expresiones faciales que ponen los“Una gran continuación para uno de los mejores juegos de la historia”. The story was alright I'd give the game overall a 9/10 but I gave it a 10 to deviate from all the loser bashing the game that have never even played the first or just jumping on the bandwagon of hating it. I waited 7 years for this game, played it the day it came out... and the part 2 was NOT as good as the PART 1, I never believed it'd top the first one. THE FIRST GAME WAS TOO GOOD. THE ONLY THING THEY CAN TOP IS THE GAMEPLAY NOT THE STORY. You guys are just a bunch of morons. It makes me think how many Xbox fanboys just jumped on this game and rated it a 0. What a joke of a gaming community. They live in a post apocalyptic world, you expect everyone to just survive???? Even if Ellie also died in the end I would have accepted it rather than hating it. Even tho I was truly disappointed with Ellie's decision by not killing Abby, I think this game is a masterpiece and I noticed all the improvement by the very first scene of the game, the incredible human expressions, the animations, especially the one where you can pick up a rope, the gun upgrades animation, and a lot more, the animals, the combat, oh the combat, the enemies so realistic human esssence it's incredible, It even makes you feel bad by killing them, how the dog cries when you kill its owner, just everything in this game it's exactly what I've been waiting for 7 years. I love The Last Of Us, It's my favourite videogame and I've played the first game in every difficulty mode, and I waited with extra hype all of this years for this game, I had extra high expectations, I can say I love this game and it's worth every single year of wait and every single dollar I paid for it. It's amazingly beautiful. Play it yourself and you'll see that this game has a lot more to offer than just a story.… Expand

    Amazing experience! The gameplay is on a new level, they kept the good old form and added some new mechanics. The animations are mindblowing, facial expressions never was more realistic than now. And the story... oh my god, this is the first game that made me cry. Absolutely the best game I've ever played. Thank you Naughty Dog!
