Me gusta mucho la historia y como todo cobra sentido mientras avanza, a lo mejor la muerte de Joel no fue tan épica y fue demasiado rápida, en eso concuerdo pero luego llegas a empatizar en un punto con Abby, aunque igual sigo sin poder creer que Joel muera, pero si su muerte no fuera real la venganza de Ellie no tendría tanto impacto y ganas de hacerla, el juego te pone en ambos lados y tienes que elegir a favor de quien estás, Ellie y Abby han sufrido mucho y este juego en tanto historia y guión fue muy bueno y logra tener momentos emocionantes.… Expand

I cant compare the death of Joel to the death of Lee(walking dead) becuse Lee had a good death and everybody was sad but they understood it. HOW DA **** DOES A GUY AS SMART AS JOEL DIE IN SUTCH A STUPID WAY. Im sorry but the newer game isnt good i dont know how mut you payed the rewyewers to give it a 95 but i hope it was worth it.     One of the worst games i've ever played. **** story & terrible political agenda. The ending is also extremely bad and this game is filled with a **** ton of plotholes. 0/10 can't recommend this to anyone, not even for money

    The game was Okay-ish, certainly not a 10 but also not a 0/1.

    The gameplay felt very clunky, like it was in the first game. Half way through the game, I lost track of how many times I died by the fact that I got shot, and Ellie got into a state where she would just stand there and try to reflect the shotgun shells with her head..... The story left me unsatisfied at the end, it also    The game was Okay-ish, certainly not a 10 but also not a 0/1.

(and Dina) At the conclusion of the story that left me with a feeling that I'd just put 25 hours into a game, that tried to make me like 2 characters which are (in this story) so unlikeable/unrelatable, that it really was a useless journey.

    After playing it completely through, I get why people are mad. But even then, this is an interesting case for story's that try something different. Too bad that in this case, the game director didn't succeed in creating characters with the same personality and integrity like the first game.    … Expand

    I’ve been waiting years for this game and I avoided all the spoilers and leaks the best I could but after finishing the game, I now understand the anger of those people got from those. The game itself is amazing, gameplay is very pleasant and it’s almost an upgrade from the first game, also the graphics are very much an improvement, impressive to look at. The game menu has an accessibility feature and it has a lot of great things for people who are not that good at the game, it helps. What ruins the game is that Ellie almost looks like a man, yes she is lesbian, fine we get that, but why make her LOOK like a man? I don’t get that, even her voice, it’s like this rough sounding lesbian woman and okay that maybe fits a lesbian woman but it’s too much and it’s simply not the Ellie I remember.... And then Joel suddenly dies by the hand of this woman?... man... woman who looks like a man? Yes, a woman who looks EXACTLY like a man! And then you HAVE to play as HER HIM! For almost the rest of the game, and I would get that if she/he was a lovable character but she/he isn’t, I hated her/him for the entire game, so that was absolutely awful, playing like that. The story ruined the whole game. The music wasn’t good either. The first game left me with this deep feeling inside when that last music started at the credits but this... there was NOTHING... music was bad, ending was meh...

    I completely forgot. they promised we wouldn't have to kill dogs but guess what... we have to kill DOGS! So unacceptable!!! And why the lies??!!    … Expand

    Story wise... Playing from Abby's POV at first was infuriating. I hated it and hated it and hated it until, slowly, I didn't, and finally, by the end, it was my favourite part of the game. In the first half of play, I was disappointed because I felt like there wasn't a lot of growth in Ellie. What I'd loved about TLOU1 was the character growth we saw in Joel, and it just felt like that was missing. In the second half, though, I got that growth I wanted, and I got it from playing Abby. The idea of violence begetting violence was heart wrenching and painfully clear through the plot. When Ellie and Dina ended up at the farmhouse with JJ, I wept. I was so grateful that they got a happy ending, JJ was adorable, and it felt right. It felt like an end to the violence. When Ellie went after Abby and left Dina, I was angry. I wish the game had ended on that happy note, but the reasoning behind it made sense. The final ending of the game felt a little hopeless, with a tremendous sense of loss, but with layers and open directions to go. I hope there is a 3rd.
    I'm giving this game a 10, because it gave me everything I'd want from a game. The action was fun and a clear upgrade from the original. I loved all the variation in combat, the horses, the crossbow, the boats. I was losing my mind at how incredible the Haven burning scene was and having to stealth between two factions at war. I really liked Lev and Yara. The conflict with their mom was heartbreaking and I found myself very attached to the characters. My emotions were wrecked multiple times through this game, but, classifying it as a tragedy, I loved it. A truly immersive experience.    … Expand

    Played it just upset waited so long for this game and this is what we get .....At the end of the day to me no one wins in this game but did return it was able to get my refund. Well got store credit gift card.

    historia tá uma bosta, mas tô dando 10 pq tá cheio de sonysta chorão achando que a nota é por causa de hate de caixistas, quando a maioria vem só próprio público fã do jogo.     I will only say about the emotions that this game gave. It is not perfect, it has many disadvantages, but it does not deserve such low ratings. I put 10/10 and 0/10. The game is ambiguous. I agree with most of the cons of the game. As my countrymen say-И рыбку съесть, и на хуй сесть.

Just because Joel dies for what he did to the Fireflies parents doesn’t make this a bad game. The ending is great too because it brought Ellie to her senses and made her realize she’d be leaving the kid without someone to care for it, which in essence, is what Joel was did to Abby and the other fireflies. And before you start saying that Ellie’s been “made” lesbian just for this game, please play the left behind DLC for the first game..… Expand

    And all the people are rightly pissed at the story and the characters, but they forget the bugs with which the game is full: combat animation, standing animations, walking animation, characters animations in general are bugged. Items such as ladders that are invisible. Holes in the ground. UI texts that remain on the screen instead of disappearing.

    The Last Of Us ended on the first game and the dlc.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Imagine playing with Arhtur for most of RDR2, but at the end you switch up to Micah just to kill Arthur. John never pursues revenge because "it's bad". This is TLOU 2. The game tries to be profound when the story is just simplistic revenge, except you don't even exercise said revenge, you let the person who killed Joel and destroyed your hand go away because "revenge is bad". By the media reviews, you would expect this game would have a storytelling comparable to Watchmen's, except you get a script wrote by a kid.

    Joel, the dude who mastered the ways of survival of this world, fell for the most stupid and plain trap in history. Joel would never fall for such a trap, they downgraded the past game character's intelligence.

    The game doesn't do much to improve the combat of the first, the I.A is plain potatoes and it's clear that Druckmann tried to force his agenda in this game too. Neil is such a narcissist human being that he inserted himself into the game TWICE. He is the character spitting on Joel's corpse and later on he appears as a card with max intelligence as his main stat. As a person who loved the first one and was hoping to see Ellie grow as an individual, I am disappointed.

    Just like in the first one, Ellie is accompanied by someone most of the time. Then you play as Senator Armstrong. Then revenge is bad.    … Expand

Yes, I understand that Joel had to have consequences for the action he did for the first game by saving Ellie but what type of consequence is killing him in the first 2 hours by the most pathetic way to die as if they hurried to kill the most liked character in the game. A que la violencia es mala? A que matar es malo? A história gira em torno de vingança; porém, tentaram lacrar tanto que ficou ridículo. O ex-namorado da "Lesbian of Us", vulgo asiático, é um capacho sem amor próprio. Além disso, a situação constrangedora do café envolvendo o Joel foi o fim. O primeiro jogo foi muito bom, pena que tentaram perverter toda a história ao colocar como antagonista alguém ligado a um personagem que não tinha importância nenhuma na trama original (filha do cientista NPC).… Expand

It was amazing, sad, brilliant, savage, heartbreaking, like should be an apocalypse story. I'm not even mad for Joel death, I really loved this character and his death was maybe brutal, but I will remember this character forever, how much he was important for Ellie as a father-like figure, but he wasn't a perfect human being, he made mistake too and the end of his life came, paying for his actions. He's still unforgettable. I can understand why you can get mad and sad about it, but no need to cry like a baby just for it (or anything else in the story or in the characters, come on, grow up). It's a apocalypse game, what you excepted ? A fairytale story where everything and everyone are kind and gentle and perfect? People die, people get revenge, it's normal. LTOU II is a great game about the apocalypse and everything what's involve, even if it's shocking. The characters developements was correct and credible, playing Abby was suprising and interesting to see her point of views and what she's did was totally understable (I personnaly think), her character came with some interestings choices. The end is maybe not 'a perfect ending story', but it's impacting, killing Abby won't bring back Joel, I think Ellie made a good decision, even after all she came trought, she realise something. Now she need to find peace in her mind and move on. The first game was about family love trought the end of world, now it's about something crual, revenge, anger, and it's perfectly coherent and realistic. Anyway, Neil Druckmann and his team still made an incredible game, you can disagree about some things that you don't like, it's correct, but no need to be an **** like some people here. The story, voice acting, musics, ambiance and gameplay was incredible and I will remember this game for long time. Congrats.… Expand

Let's start with positives, The core game play of Last of Us 2 is phenomenally the developers make there areas with multiple options to conquer there tasks ahead. The developers in this game filled their world with lots of secrets for people who find themselves to either wonder in the vast world of Seattle or people who really like to explore and know naughty dog fills their worlds with items to find. Finding a guitar where elle plays a cover of take on me or finding secret safes where you would have to find clues to find the code made The Last of Us 2 feel rewarding in that aspect. You get to upgrade your guns and find new ones on your continuous journey with also upgrading your skills. Also, the games is very beautiful and feels polished and has it's lovable characters but that is all the positives for this game which is most of the game. Now the biggest negative is the story if you never played or cared for the first game like the critics this would be a 10/10 but for the Users the people who really loved this game seeing a sequel and it's story being so broken and not for filing made everyone very outraged. The Story of The Last of Us 2 isn't bad it's just how they did it. Using characters known by the community to be used for the plot is ok if you do it right but how they did it was disgraceful and just a punch in the face for the core fans. Also elle seems to had have a personality switch which felt off compared to the lovable goof she was in the first game but of course she was also a bad ass. Elle in this game feels like she's very self centered and kinda of a all about what she has to do. This bothered most people because they rushed through the game but if you took time in the game Elle seemed to be the same old Elle through separate optional dialogue. Another main problem is that people play these games for the relationship with Joel and Elle and Joel is not really seen or used in this game how we would've liked to see. My main problem with this game is abby, the problem I have with abby is that naughty dog makes her feel like a McDonalds rip off of elle and I HATE THAT, also after spending so much time going through the three days of Seattle with a character I enjoyed, I have to play as Abby and see her prospective of life and what she did. I just couldn't do it I hate abby's character and think she would've been better if we didn't have to play as her. Overall The Last of US 2 is great with it's core mechanics and if you don't care about story I'd give it a 10/10 I enjoyed the game mechanics that much and the vast world and all the secrets to find. Unfortunately I care about the story and it makes it a 5/10 because Playing as Abby in my opinion is just unbearably difficult and also the absence of the Joel and Elle duo, Which is why people bought and enjoyed the last one, Isn't really utilized here which just makes this game feel so underwhelming.    … Expand

The First last of us game had that perfect balance between gameplay and cutscenes. The character development was poor for some of the characters. Watching Joel get killed by Abby, I had no problem with joel dying, my gripe was with how joel died. I felt if the characters were developed more gamers would be able to sympathize with them and then when joel's death would've been shown, atleast gamers would've understood Abby's anger and pain. I have no ill will against any character regardless of their sexual orientation, gender or sexuality, my problem was how it was represented in the game without showing any relevance. What was the relevance of the huge amount of screen time shown with ellie and dina, same goes for the sex scene with abby and owen. Alot of wasted potential and time that could've went into more gameplay that would've made the game more fun. I think naughty dog focused too much on the story and forgot that gamers value actual gameplay time, rather than a drawn out plot.… Expand

    1000010 best game of the year and generation powerful plot and awesome graphics.I was a little disappointed with the choice of the second protagonist, but maybe it’s for the better, it fits perfectly into the plot. So it all started at the hospital in the first game. Joel killed so many ppl and basically everyone in the hospital. Now in Last of Us Part 2 Joel killing spree ends up catching up to him and he dies in the hands of Abby because he killed her dad which was one of the surgeons. It was actually really realistic the way he died because he cant kill all those ppl he was gonna get killed eventually by some one. I mean it is the Last of us after all. Well after that Ellie goes on a absolute killing spree doing exactly what Joel was doing in the first. Hunting down. Many WLF members. Then Ellie and Abby face off at Santa Barbara and clash. To many ppls surprize Ellie tells Abby to go and just leave. The reason for this is because she had enough of the fighting and realized that all the fighting wouldnt bring Joel or any of them back. It was a cycle it all started with Joel and moved on to Ellie and then killing Abby would lead to Lev killing Ellie in the future potentially. She had enough. To me it makes sense. The reason I gave it a 9 cause no game is ever perfect. I feel some things could have been improved upon. But yeah thats my review.… Expand

    I have never been more saddened by playing an IP that I loved so much than by playing the last of us 2. The only reason that I loved the first last of us as much I did was the story and more than that, the relationship between Ellie and Joel and how it evolved throughout the entirety of the game.     The naughty dogs deceived the players by combining two separate scenes and dialogue of joel in trailer. The story was mess. Sony did not allow reviewers to talk about the last 12 hours game play . The graphics were good but could not beat the level of uncharted 4 . For me there was too much hype for this game.
