    got lucky by not getting it spoiled by anyone but i Highly Recommend this game blind. Even if you know how the begging starts just gotta ride it out to discuses about the ending.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. People rate bombing this beautiful game haven't even played it, are going off spoilers from the internet, or are butt-hurt because a character they cared about isn't around anymore so they didn't bother to play past the first hour.

    Before the spoilers hit (which were relatively easy to avoid I might add) it was obvious from the get go based solely off of the small bits Naughty Dog gave us, that there would be a major character death early on. We knew it was a revenge story, we knew it would be bloody and brutal. What did you expect? Regardless of how predictable the main plot if the game would be (which is was, why are you surprised?) It is still a wonderful game, and the perfect way to bring the Joel/Ellie story from the first game to a close.

    The game is meant to humanize your enemies and villainize your heroes. Its shows how complicated revenge can be. How it effects everyone involved, and how it rarely turns out to be what is actually best.

    Don't listen to the negative reviews. Play the game, and build your own opinion around it. If you loved the first game, you'll love the second. Simple as that.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I played the first TLOU a week before this game came out and I found it pretty enjoyable. It wasn't bad but it wasn't my favorite. I thought the gameplay was alright, the only thing that subtracted my opinions on the gameplay was the fact that the infected were not fun to fight, for me personally. The ending however was amazing, I thought it was such a cool climax to the story of how Joel did not want to lose the only thing left he had in his life

    TLOU2 had a cool story concept, trying to take down Abbys friends to find her location and get avenge Joel, but I feel like the execution could have been better

    The Good:
    The Gameplay: Even though it is almost the exact same gameplay as the first game, I felt like they added mechanics that made the gameplay loop a little bit more enjoyable in this game. I loved the dodge and prone features the most, those added a lot to the encounters. The jump button was pretty useless though lol. (Gameplay - 8/10)

    Graphics: Not a lot can be said about this. The graphics were super stunning and created amazing environments, although every once in a while a characters model would look a bit weird(Graphics - 9/10)

    The Eh:
    Story (Before the ending) : First off I want to say I didn't hate the story, but there are some subtle things here and there that I thought was dumb. The first plot point I thought was kind of dumb was the fact that Joel saved Abby. In the first game he knows not to trust people, it's shown multiple times throughout the game, but in this story he just finds a random girl in the woods and brings her back to her place and talks about Jackson and his name?? I would understand this a lot more if they might have explained that he grew to trust people more, but this came out of no where

    People also say that Joels death was stupid for such an amazing character, and I feel like this was kind of the point. I feel like Neil wanted the player to be upset that the legend went out like this, he wanted us to be upset with Abby for killing him so we can have more of a reason to want revenge, but instead more people were mad at the game and Neil

    Even though that part was questionable I kept going and I was enjoying the story of trying to hunt down the people who murdered Joel and constantly getting leads to where they are, and at the same time looking for Tommy. I loved the hospital fight with Nora, and I thought the aquarium scene was pretty cool too

    The next story moment that was questionable was the switch to Abby. At first I hated it. I thought "why would I want to play as the bad guy for the next 3 days", but it turned out to not be as bad as I thought it would be. I definently would've preferred to play more as Ellie though. I understood what they were trying to do with this section of the game. They wanted you to see Abby and her friends that Ellie killed as good people so you could see how both of these protagonists were hurt by each-other and they both have/had the intention to avenge a loved one. I feel like they wanted you to not root for anyone in this situation. After all of Abbys arc, I still wanted Ellie to get her revenge. I did start to like Abby as a character/villain/"good person" but I never wanted her to get away/win. Ellie was already too committed to just lose or give up. (Or so I thought)

    I also didn't care for the part of Abbys story when she helps the two scar kids. I understand why she did it and why Neil wanted to do it. Neil wanted her to seem like a better person and she wanted to do it because they saved her life. But going across a tall bridge and fighting a new type pf infected boss to save that one girls life for her to just die like 45 minutes later made the entirety of Day 2 feel pointless and wasted. (Story - 7/10)

    Those were the only parts of the story that really didn't sit well with me, but now it's time for the part of the game that probably disappointed me the most

    The Bad:
    Ending: I first thought the ending was the first part of the farm. If it would've ended there, I would have thought it was anticlimactic, but an okay ending. But nope it had to keep going. Ellie wants to hunt down Abby to finish what Joel started. She nearly kills Abby, then stops, and lets her go, making the entire game and story (for me) feel pointless. I understood that she realized that revenge is wrong, but the last two hours of searching for Abby just to let her go felt so pointless. The ending was super unsatisfying but I feel like that was the point. I wish Ellie would have gotten her revenge and come back home to Dina, but Neil wanted to tell a different but understandable story where an unhappy ending is not uncommon in this world. (Ending - 5/10)

    Overall, I enjoyed my time with the game. The game was definitely carried by the gameplay rather than the story. The story was alright with a crummy ending for Ellie.
    7/10.

    Disfruten el juego, es dificil no acercarse a los personajes, pero es una nueva entrega entiendan la historia y los que an criticado mal el juego es seguro que ni lo hayan comprado, es un juegazo y con unas graficas espectaculares que ponian mi ps4 a sonar como avion.

    Not a good game. It might be serviceable if they reordered events. Gameplay is pretty sluggish and repetitive. I've never had a linear game seem so oppressively linear. Rather than trying to explore an area, i'd be pushed into the next with no way back. None of the new characters were likeable or remember able. if I could get my money and time back I would.

    Just finished TLOU Part 2. I tried to explore as much as I could and it took about 25-30 hours. To get the most out this experience, I recommend taking your time exploring and engaging in all the optional conversations. Also, listen to some of the NPCs, they often mention cool stories.     My rating:
    Gameplay: 10/10. The improvements made in the second part might seem minimal but they make the gameplay much more fun and smoother. Some examples of these improvements: being able to jump, the character being more agile, more interactive environments, combat system is more "reactive". Also, the stealth mechanics (and to some extent the gameplay) resemble that of MGS5.
    Story:(This is the divisive part, I'm keeping this spoiler-free) I personally found the story to be intriguing, and very emotional. I felt like I understood the motivations of the characters to do what they were planning to do. I'd say that you can think of the story in 3 parts: the lore (involving the fungus cordyceps and the factions in this world), the main characters from the first game, and the new developments created in TLOU2. The lore was expanded and I really like the direction they took with it. Regarding the characters from the first game, the direction taken was something I did not expect but it made sense to me. The new "developments/characters" were also surprisingly interesting. I was able to follow the story quite easily even though I've heard some people had problems following the timeline. If you're used to movies from director Quentin Tarantino, then it should be easy to follow the story. I really enjoyed the story despite some of its sad moments. 10/10
    Graphics: 10/10.
    Survival Horror: 10/10. If you're a fan of survival horror, then this game is a must. It has some of the scariest experience(s).

    In conclusion: I highly recommend playing the game, experiencing it first hand is way better than watching it. Now I'm going back to this game for Game+.    … Expand

    SPOILERS! Yo fui uno de los desafortunados en toparse con los leaks en Twitter, al verlos me sentí asqueado y muy decepcionado. Empero, a pesar de eso, decidí invertir mi dinero para conocer el por qué de cada decisión creativa y narrativa para poder compartir mi opinión, ya que considero que la moda actual de tirarle mierda al presente juego sin haberlo experimentado es ridícula.

    No vengo a hablarles del apartado técnico, gráfico, del gameplay, del sonido, de la banda sonora o de las interpretaciones del elenco, dichos aspectos son excelentes, de lejos lo mejor de esta generación.

    The Last of Us Part II me ofreció una de las experiencias más crudas e intensas que he experimentado dentro de un videojuego. El juego es duro, cruel, muy violento y oscuro, no teme presentar momentos y giros de guion que pueden ser considerados completamente descabellados o de mal gusto.

    Esta segunda parte juega con el tema de la venganza de una forma agridulce y muy compleja, tomando dos perspectivas distintas que nos deja en claro los estigmas, el costo, cuantas personas inocentes pueden salir afectadas y la ceguera durante tu travesía en busca de hacer justicia por mano propia.

    Por un lado, Ellie busca venganza por la brutal muerte de su figura paterna, pero a la vez se le adjunta su sentimiento de culpa por no haber tenido un momento de paz y reconciliación con Joel, cada muerte y asesinato que ejecuta la afecta psicológicamente pero su sed de venganza es más fuerte. Por el otro, tenemos a Abby, quien asesina a Joel por la muerte de su padre.

    Al tener ambos puntos de vista, nos damos cuenta de la realidad: ambas mujeres buscan la supervivencia, tienen amistades, pareja, buscan estabilidad y lo mejor para su gente. Esta venganza no es como de las famosas cintas de Hollywood, aquí no existe un villano, son personas comunes y corrientes que se encuentran en constante peligro por otros grupos sanguinarios y peligrosos.

    El final -muy polémico- me pareció brillante porque representa el cierre del círculo de la venganza. Ellie se da cuenta de que puede llegar a perdonar a Joel por una decisión tan brutal que afectó la esperanza de toda la humanidad, entonces, ¿Por qué no perdonar a esta mujer que buscaba lo mismo que ella? Ambas compartían el sentimiento de venganza y su ceguera provocó la muerte de varios amigos inocentes, si esto continuaba, ¿quiénes y cuántos serían los siguientes afectados por ese deseo?

    La última escena confirma el perdón de Ellie a Joel, dejando sus cosas, sus recuerdos y su guitarra atrás, para dar paso a lo siguiente y al fin comenzar a buscar una nueva esperanza.

    Its not perfect but its damn close to be... this game is one of those games where you either like it or you dont, there’s no middle ground... the story is beautiful, meaningful and makes you think a lot about your actions. And of course, shows you, that in every story, theres 2 or more different sides, and sometimes no one is right and its just a matter of perspective of the point of view.. 9/10

    A truly ambitious and emotionally charged game. Takes actions that developers and creators rarely risk to take. This game is not a ‘happy’ or feel good game. It will make you feel sad, angry, and confused, and will put you in situations where you may question your own moral standings.

    I loved this game so much up until the very end scene but honestly still very much worth the 9/10. The graphics are insanely good, you almost forget its a video game. Loved all the new characters too, especially Dina. Im hoping they release another DLC or something though bc again the last scene was a little disappointing.

    3 for visuals. -7 for poor story, clunky controls, and forcing the user to play as an unlikable character the user struggles to empathize with. A linear game requires a good story...which is lacking. What were they thinking? Ego? Agenda? Trying to be edgy or something? Sheesh.

And you know what? That's exactly the point, the point the game is trying to make is that in the end nothing matters, and everything turns to **** There's no "happily ever after", there never was. For anyone. Ever. All there is is pain and sadness and finally death. That's human existence. I felt the same playing this as I felt watching Neon Genesis Evangelion, it's a painful but ultimately cathartic experience. It's not for the faint-hearted, but I still recommend it.… Expand

    The gameplay is so much better than The original with many improvements I love the new combat and some of the new weapons this game brings. However, I didn't play last of us 2 just for gameplay I played it for its story and oh boi is it bad... Now the game has some really cool story moments when you're in the flashback scenes but the overall story is complete jank full of plot holes for example in the first game Joel was a deep complex character that knew the wasteland but here he's like oh look strangers hers my name and id dw about it. for me he's not even the same character any more.
    Most characters in this game are so 1 note its not funny take Dina as an example what is her character outside of "I love Ellie" what is there? Sure we learn some stuff from her past, but she's so one note that's nowhere near as complex as character Bill in the first game or Tes or anyone else that was there. This is failure of a sequel in my opinion. If there's a 3rd part I'm not buying it.    … Expand

Thanks to that, Joel's death was a huge shock and I really wanted a revenge. For me great job showing how revange and things that Ellie make change her. In the moment that she admitts to Dina that she made Nora talk was like admitting: I became a monster but I dont want to loose you. And the second character and her motives also great: from the beginning here we see how she is blinded with the wish of revenge and how revenge didnt change anything (still dreaming about the death of her father, loosing friends and love because of revenge wish and brutally killing Joel). I hated her at the beggining of the game but then I even started to like her. And the moment on the farm with Ellie and Dina: when I saw Ellie trying to sneak out in the middle of the night I was like: I love you Ellie but what the hell are you doing? Why? You want to loose everything for revenge? Stop killing. And in that moment I was tired of killing. Thats why I can understand the last fight with Abby. For me great psyhological story with many emotions.I will remember it long time and for sure play it more then twice.Dont know why people see in that political story.. Seriously: where? Because Ellie is a lesbian? We knew it from the DLC for the first part and for me it was sure that they will use it in the second. The character of Lev alias Lily? Real life but in a twisted world and this character wasnt important much for a story. They saved Abbys life, she started redemption.… Expand

The story was great many people don’t like how Joel died but I believe it served its purpose while also making you feel sad. I’ve also seen people complain that Joel and Tommy were out of character which caused Joel’s death but after spending many year in a more comfortable life style than they were in previously it makes sense that they would slip up. We see Ellie’s fighting for revenge and the toll it takes on her every time she takes the life of one of these people. It destroys her and I’m the end she loses everything in search of revenge. Now for the character of Abby. People mention that Abby get everything while Ellie’s life is destroyed but that’s not true. She loses all of her friends and is cast out of her home. They both lost so much and are both tired and done which is why Ellie does what she did at the end. I throughly enjoyed the game beginning to end. It was an incredible experience that will stick with me for years to come. This is my opinion and if you don’t like it then I’m sorry but I do not care. I had a great experience.… Expand

There’s a lot of things to considerate when you talk about of a game like this, obviously is hard to get a good score when you are out of your safe zone, but there’s the magic. This game is not just Ellie going to Abby, is more than that, is to show the humanity of the people, to show you how you life could change if you follow something for a revenge. Anyone can say that The Last of Us Part II is a bad game, because is not. I’m pretty sure that everyone likes to control Ellie, the gameplay is just amazing, and yeah, it’s true, maybe some of us thing that despite the humanity of Abby, she should be dead right now but Ellie wasn’t able to do it. We expect for something else maybe on a DLC or on another part for the game. Even recognizing this the game is amazing and no one can say that in some part of the game you didn’t feel any felling about it, like angry, love, or something. It's crazy that Naughty Dog killed off our main protagonist at the very beginning of the game just to create a revenge plot. And then we are forced to play as the person who killed our beloved character. However, the graphics and gameplay are absolutely amazing! This is easily the best graphics on a 7 year old console.     I absolutely loved this game, even though certain parts made me very uncomfortable. The story was an emotional rollercoaster and an experience I won't forget. Also, the gameplay was intense and satisfying and a definite upgrade from the first game.

    Before I give my review of this game, I should make it very clear that this game is not SJW propaganda. There is no agenda. Any review that gives a 0 or a 1 is just not a correct review.     Before I give my review of this game, I should make it very clear that this game is not SJW propaganda. There is no agenda. Any review that gives a 0 or a 1 is just not a correct review. So many of these negative reviewers clearly show they have not played the game in its entirety. Know that no matter how much they read or how many clips they see, they will never understand the game unless they play it and give it a fair chance. They're not giving the game a fair chance if they just go in to hate it and self-validate their hate. Anyways, my review.

    To start, the game play builds off of the same systems and mechanics that made the first game work so well and it accomplishes its goal in seeking to improve upon all of them. It makes several refinements and adds a few very appreciated additions to traversal and combat that combined with new animations and great level design make for a highly satisfying and fluid experience.

    When it comes to the graphics and other technical aspects of the game, once again Part II improves upon its predecessor in every way possible. Visually this is by far the most beautiful and stunning game that Naughty Dog has ever made. The added benefits of HDR and a higher resolution that come from playing on PS4 Pro only make this game look that much more incredible. Moving away from just strictly visuals, the new animations that I mentioned previously are a welcome site that add to the realism of the game and I never tired of seeing them. The new physics engine in the game also seeks to help maintain immersion at all times. Last, but not least the audio design is absolutely fantastic and though it is a part of gaming that goes largely unnoticed, in The Last Of Us Part II it was so good that I couldn't help, but take notice.

    Though near everything about a video game is subjective, it is practically undeniable that everything mentioned beforehand is nothing short of an improvement on the first game. So, on to topics more subjective like music and character performances. As far as music is concerned, it is at least on par with the music in the first game meaning that it is just as powerful and effective as its ever been, Character performances are stellar and personally they exceed the brilliance of the performances from the last game. With some of the best motion capture and animation in gaming, The Last Of Us Part II is able to display facial and physical emotion like no game has ever done before.

    Now on to the story. The story is not fun to play through, but that doesn't stop the actual narrative from being a phenomenal achievement in storytelling. The writing of this game is undoubtedly excellent and it never falters in trying to tell the story it wants to be told. This game does things that no other game has ever been able to do before. It engaged me emotionally, physically, and mentally like no game has ever done before. It provides a unique experience completely different from the one provided by the first game and very much like that experience, The Last Of Us Part II can never be replicated.

    Ultimately, The Last Of Us Part II transcended how video games can make a player feel and it will be talked about for years and years to come. It is truly an experience like no other. It is a violent, vile, intense, hate-filled, and abusive experience that was constantly attacking my senses, and I loved every bit of it.    … Expand

    Gameplay is solid but not groundbreaking, just like the first LoU. Action sequences though were some of the best I've seen in gaming and had me holding my breath.
    Story was not perfect and it hurt a lot at times, especially the prologue, but at the end of the day it moves on whether you want to or not. Pacing can be off at times but there are tender moments throughout that make it all worth it. On NG+ right now and I'm really looking forward to the second half of the game.

    Amazing game. For people who actually played it, I’m sure it they feel the same way. Not the people that didn’t even play it but simply gave it a low score just because there’s gay characters in it. Sad little people. I loved this game as much as the first one. Incredible. But the gameplay is phenomenal. Every situation felt tense and I always felt like the odds were never too unfair. To me gameplay is one of the most important things , and despite the story being bad (at least in the second half) I enjoyed my time with the Last of Us 2. Part 1 will always be my favorite, but two is a great game. Just a bad movie/sequel.… Expand

    This game in itself is about a 7/10, the story was over directed and cheap. Parts of it are just basically unexpected behavior from people just so that the story could move forward. (Character performances were an 11/10 however). The performances and beauty of the game make up for the useless (I exaggerate, it is ok, even good at times but goes on for too long and becomes boring) gameplay and cheap story.

    The overall ark seems to be written by a pretend philosopher kid, there are flashes of brilliance in the predictable pseudo moralistic story that this game is and the ending is just a cherry on top of the beautiful cake. Obvious and oft repeated things, generally considered common sense are treated as nuggets of rare wisdom.
    I knew Joel was gonna die, but didn't know he was gonna die thinking Ellie and his brother were gonna die to. We saw Joel learn to care again in the first game, to the point of murderous fault by the end of the game. He knew death was coming and he deserved it, there is a price to pay for things even when they are driven by love, but it could have been done substantially better, such an important scene could be given some room to breathe.

    As a squeal however it is a 2/10 for me, they **** every character I loved so much. They **** over Ellie, I wanted to play as her so bad but not in this story. The game should have not been a part of this story (franchise story), to make the art that is (to critics) TLOU2, they **** over many who loves TLOU. Don't get me wrong, there were cheap outs used in the first one too, but the number of jumps here was just painful. They make us hate the firefly leader (questionably aggressive behavior by her and her minions) before we murder everyone in the complex in the end, to maybe not make people completely hate the end (justifying questionable/bad actions by protagonists often done by representing those that action hurts as pure evil).

    This game was probably designed for critics. They tried to do a Kojima without any of Kojima's finesse or balls (He made a game designed around walking because he said he was tired of all the killing required in games).

    I guess i might also be partially at mistake for being venerable because I got involved the first one too much. This game mostly wiped out any trust I had on review websites (not because of their reviews, reviews are subjective, their behavior and statements about player dislike after the fact), I will probably never get as invested in a game again.

    In the end, to me subjectively, they sacrificed a 10/10 (who am i kidding TLOU was 11/10) to make a 7/10 (if I ignore the beauty of the game and attention to detail it is a 4/10).    … Expand

    Although the story was a bit disappointing, the gameplay, graphics, and overall sound design and music made me love this game and although at times I feel conflicted on how I feel about this game, it has definitely made a lasting impression.

Unfortunately, I could not play this game, and I had to go to my friend. we went through the game in 4 days, we spent 26 hours, and we think that this game is a masterpiece, it is not better than the first part (which I played), I read a lot of negative reviews and I think that gay propaganda is complete rubbish and False. I can’t understand why 1 kiss (okay 3) of two girls excited everyone so much.
    As for Joel, it's sad that we all miss him, but if he were alive, it would be a completely different game, so I really would not want to. Graphics, I don’t see any reason to say anything about this in order to find fault with the fact that the grass is unreal or that some characters twitched? oh well, I'm ready to play a terrible 2D game, if it has only a space plot. This game is not good or bad, it is a game about the so-called gray morality, where the game does not say who is good or bad, the game shows everyone from all sides, and the player, in turn, chooses who is who + the game shows that violence leads to even more violence, well, you know a tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye, and so the whole world can go blind.    … Expand

    The new pinnacle of story telling. Spectacular writing, voicework, character development, and art. It makes you feel. It might not be pleasant, there's fear, panic, and heartache but boy it makes you feel it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’ve been seeing all of the hate for this game and I frankly think that it is a large overreaction and partially a bandwagon. That’s why I made an account on here just to speak my mind. The preface this, I have played the Last of Us 8 times over the past 5 years. The moment I grabbed a PS4 I hopped on this game and it was a very moving point in my gaming. I consider it my favorite single player story driven game of all time. So to address the elephant in the room, I’ve seen plenty of reviews and memes on the “monstrosity” “dumpster fire” and “complete disappointment” that is TLOU2. That is simply not true. So from the beginning of this game, I had seen the reviews and I thought I was walking into a disaster of a game. I had briefly seen the leaks beforehand, mostly including Joel’s death, but I assumed that there was some major glitches or a completely horrible story that would outrage people. I played through the first few chapters and I was dumbstruck as to why people would think this game is bad. For someone who put so much time into the first game, the scenery, improved gameplay, and immersive story was a breath of fresh air and a great addition to the first game. The scenery: gorgeous landscapes, impressive graphics, the character mapping was pretty accurate, and the detail put into even the disgusting infected.

    Improved gameplay: They’ve improved on almost every level here. New craftables, new unlockable perks and weapon upgrades, a new hand to hand combat system so that clickers aren’t an unbearable rage inducing thing, and PRONE. The stealth in this game has gotten a lot more immersive as you’re hunted by dogs and any wrong move makes you instantly regret it. Immersive story *SPOILER*: The early death of Joel and the moral grey area that the game gives you halfway through when you start playing as Abby is such an eye opener on the good that the WLF actually does, and it makes you feel justified regret over the killing spree you go on in the first game.

    To top this all off, the alleged LGBT views being “shoved down your throat” is completely appalling. People are gay. It’s a thing. People have an issue saying that being gay is Ellie’s entire personality, which is untrue. I see her as much more of a hurt badass killing machine that sees the error of her ways after doing it. All in all, it did not make me feel quite as involved as the first game, but the scores it had been getting are ridiculous and unjust.

    The game isn’t bad, it’s actually quite good, people just have a hard time thinking for themselves. A lot of reviews I’ve seen are from people who have also just watched the game on YouTube or Twitch. You have no right to rate the game until you’re the one that presses square to beat Nora’s head in.    … Expand

Not as good as the original TLoU but i went in not expecting it to come close to the masterpiece of that game, and I came out satisfied. The game looks amazing and gives different perspectives on the events in TLoU part 1 and forces you to choose between Ellie or Abby. Feeling anger at Abby over the game and then learning the pain that Abby felt at the hands of Joel helping to show the vengeance she desired just as Ellie feels the need for vengeance against Abby. Overall I would gladly recommend the game and will definitely add it to the top of my list for must play PS4 games.… Expand

    I think people really have to look at the bigger picture. Not every story has a happy ending and i think people should accept that. Not saying this game doesn't have its problems but it definitely does not deserve the hate it is getting.

Don't get me wrong the gameplay was great and the visuals were to but the story was all over the place. The pacing sucked and Abby is the worst character in the game. To be forced to play as this girl for 10 hours is torture. I can't sympathize with her and her dumb decisions. I would write moreI've waited for this game since I finished the first one in 2013. First of all I have to do an Review for that because I can understand why ppl are angry about the decision what ND did in the characters design and in the Story. The big BUT is that is the goal in this game to make you angry to feel the same what the characters feels to great an character like Abby is all about it to make some ppl angry. People are fearing what is not normal. Abby is an Charakter I have to fight with me because I cannot understand her motivations to be like a strong woman (Man) this Charakter could be also a man and the whole story would work also with the sex scene. That Charakter it out of place it not polished she feels forced in the game with a better storytelling about her motivation to be like a strong woman or be like a man maybe I wouldn’t think about it so much. The whole problem about emancipation is that women’s doesn’t want be a strong women the want to be like a man and lose their whole identity to be an women and that is what Abby is a man. When that is Abbys feeling I’m fine with that but then it should be more an topic in the game to be act like it is normal ND doesn’t have to make to an topic and we player won’t understand why she is like that is bad character design.

    But why I give that game an 10/10 because like I said the story would work also with other characters. For me was that game a emotional rollercoaster. I played it on survivor. The game is challenging on the difficulty I died a lot of dead’s with exploring almost every place I beat the game in 33h and i think for the platinum I need 15 more hours. The level design an master piece so many little details I have never seen in a game. The whole world looks so real an realistic an a life great work. The Acting and the Charakteranimation looks so realistic that I have to think about that is not a real movie.
    The game mechanics and the Charakter AI is much better then in the first game on survivor I had a lot of fun to think about with the lack of resources to fight an overpowered enemy. The Blood an violence is also one of the best what I have seen you really can feel the pain and what you have done with your tools to other humans like you.

    The Storytelling is on of the best what I have played so fare. Like I said emotion roller coaster. The perspective change from different characters is a good choice to feel the pain and the love from every character. I really can feel Abbys feelings (not or motivation about her identity) and Ellis feelings and there wasn’t only blood what flows in the game also my tears.


    Thank you ND I love you for that Game experience I will talk and think about it for Years like with the first game. Pls when ND decided do make Charakter with a other sexual or body identity then pls explain why we player can understand it and can more fit in the perspective of that character most of the ppl don’t know that feelings or why the are like that so for that ppl would it be great to tell them why.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Marvelous gameplay, design audio, etc. The storyline was real and grounded. Anyone who thought Joel was going to get a happy ending was naive. Violence begets violence, you cant kill as many people as you did and stop the invention of a cure that would save millions and not expect backlash. Joel sealed his fate long before and made peace with his decision. I think that made his death more honorable especially in a post-apocalyptic world. I love that Naughty Dog showed two sides to one story it really just showed every character in a different light so we could see them for all that they are (not so we could judge them, rather just understand them) Seeing the lengths Ellie would go to for revenge was disheartening because you see that it eats up at a person from the inside. There were parts in the story where I didn't want to follow Ellie anymore on her quest for vengeance for her own sake. I'm glad that when she finally forgave Abby and got the closure that she needed. Its just so sad to see what the path of vengeance cost. Especially when Ellie couldn't play that tune that Joel taught her in the end. I think a lot of people were hoping for this second game to be fan service and im glad naughty dog didn't go that route. The Last of Us Part 2 isn't its predecessor and doesn't need to be; it is a great game.… Expand
