    After waiting years for this game, it was the biggest disappointment ever for me. I played it twice now, with several months between. I really wanted to like it and thought maybe the second time I can feel the story better and will not be that distracted from all the changes and political aftermath. But sorry no!

    - Ellie is out for rage, but her face and speaking give me a vibe of Valium... there is nothing except some rare moments - the gameplay is really tiring. You want to open a drawer and get that stuff inside... but no, first she has to put her gun down, then she needs to step back, so you can see inside the drawer... and yeah then you can finally grab that stuff - the gitar moments and control feel like they were added afterwards - so much more little pieces, which make the game overall inconsistent

    I feel like the press gave this game the best ratings in advance just because of the name and studio.
    And it feels like every real rating, is pushed away from the press with the comment, oh they didn't like the LGBT content, they didn't like it politacally... F*** no, I dont care about this. This game was expected to be the best of the best, but IT IS NOT and the so impartial press pushs the disappointment of this game back, and make the few political reviews feel like they are the only that matters.
    For me it was a waste of time and money and if they will ever make a Part 3, I am not in the line of fans and buyers. Thats it for me.    … Expand

I get it "dark" and "Meant to be more bleak" bit it has bad writing only thing half good are the Ellie Joel Flashbacks and one of the most unsatisfying ending ever that makes zero since.     I loved TLOU because of Joel and I was hope to play by him again in part ll But instead of that I play with Abby who killed him.

    And the idea of SJW was push into game more than the original story.

    Worst story in the video game history. But I give one score instead of zero because with a language that we dont understand with skipping all cutscenes the game is almost enjoyable.

The gameplay and graphics are decent, but the narrative is what totally destroys the experience, from the prologue you can see how they dispose of one of the important characters from the first game in such a horrendous way and the supposed lesson Ellie learns in the ending doesn't make any sense. This game appeals to the morbid to attract attention, but without a good story it becomes tiresome. The franchise did not deserve this type of treatment.… Expand

А вот и нет, почему практически в каждой игре про зомби люди не используют защиту от укуса? И вроде бы гг ещё в прошлой части получила укус за руку, т.к. руки - это основной инструмент ведения ближнего боя, так может стоит перевязать их или ещё что-нибудь придумать? Не, зомби здесь не представляют опасности, люди ходят в легкой одежде и не задумываются о будущем.
    Наверное главный противник людей в зомби апокалипсисе является человек, но и здесь игра умудряется разрушить всю атмосферу, когда в патруль отправляют беременную мадам. И ты уже не веришь в опасность происходящего. Чего? Враги там стреляют по нам? Да патроны просто холостые, ничего страшного, просто не смотрите на них и они не будут отрисовываться.

    Сюжет банален и прост как день, но с такими логическими дырами, что в жанр игры хочется добавить "комедия". Эбби, которая всем так нравится по сути является той ещё крысой, предавая своб общину ради... чего? Девочки, которая считает себя мальчиком. Вот это ПОВОРОТ, вот это сюжетищееее.
    Концов вызывает отвращение и непонимание. Элли, которая решила тайком слинять и завершить свой поход, да бы наконец-то быть спокойной и оставить прошлое в прошлом, оказывается пойманной Диной, которая уже родила и вместе с Элли растит ребёнка. И фактически ставит бросает Элли, ведь именно так и поступают близкие и любящие люди. Поддержать человека, прикрыть и остановить в нужный момент, как это сделала Лев для Эбби, нееет, а зачем, гораздо проще просто кинуть значимого для тебя человека и уйти в закат.    … Expand

They made the whole advertising campaign profiting on Joel & Ellie's story, and they totally disrespected the story from the first moment... The game is just an attempt to make you feel sad, it goes out of its way just to provoke sadness. Learnt a lot of things with TLOU 1, but with this game I did not take any learnings at all...One of the biggest insults to players I've seen in my life. I loved the first last of us and part 2 basically slaps you in the face for caring about those characters. The main character is killed early in the game and you play as the killer for the last 12 hours of the game. I would rather go to work than play this game… Expand

    This is a story game, no one's say: yeah this game have nice gameplay and graphics, it doesn't matter what the story would become, i will play in anyway. I think the metacritic score is like this because the story is objective, but bad story like this (as if on purpose because, later than first game story making such a bad story takes a separate skill ) how it can be ignored...

How the **** are you gonna tell me that Joel (an experienced survivor for over 20 years) and is the main character just gets killed of like that. ****in hell.     Gameplay und Grafik sind grandios. Ich habe selten das mich in den Punkten so gecatcht hat wie dieses. Trotzdem ist das nicht alles was ein Spiel ausmacht.
    Es ist einzig und allein auf die Autoren zurückzuführen, dass das Game nicht zu dem BESTEN Game allerzeiten wurde. Da jeder Charakter von Grund auf verändert wurde. Wie soll man Sympathie für jemanden entwickeln den man vorher abgrundtief gehasst hat? Außerdem wurde dem transgender Thema viel zu stark thematisiert und Bedeutung zugesprochen.
    Es hätte so toll werden können, stattdessen wurde es in meine Augen zum Paradebeispiel dafür, wie man die Qualität des Spielerlebnisses von perfekt auf miserable herunterwirtschaftet.

Thankfully i did not because this game is actually trash. I just got to the part where Joel dies and i refuse to finish the game. I can already tell how the game will focus on garbage so wont waste my time. I literally never leave a review but this game is so trash after killing Joel and wanting to make us play the enemy and make us play fetch with a dog to try manipulate us to like the actual villian. It was a risky and abstract way to make the sequel and they truly bottled it. Entire franchise will never be the same. You couldnt pay me to finish this game.… Expand

    When using the characters you love, the creators punish you for it. You won't find ammo, health is scarce, firearms are butter knife like. They are stupid and don't live up to the characters they were before.

    Now take this same recipe, and apply it to every character in the game.

    When using their woke character. You'll be almost invincible. Weapons, health and everything is plentiful. You're strong, move at super speed and everything seems easy. That's the point. They want you to believe their woke character is better, stronger and faster. To fit their woke agenda. But the truth is. If there is anyone in this world you would have wished dead. It would be this woke character that you are forced to use for the majority of the game.
    You'll end up scarred playing this game.

    Remember the story? Well now there isn't one. It's **** At every point of the game, they continue to push this woke agenda on you, and try to make you feel bad for not opting in.

    You don't have a choice either.

    Be careful of all the fake reviews giving it 5 stars. The company likes to pay critics and automated bots to review their game, to get you to fall for their woke narrative, and their **** game.

    Only good thing about the game is the graphics. Gameplay is clunky, story is infuriating, and the most loved characters from the first game turned into some of the worst character development I’ve ever seen. Ending makes no sense and we are given no explanation for why it happened. They could’ve made a masterpiece with the momentum they had from the first game but they blew it.

Neil Druckman filled the game with left bias policies, destroyed the character of Ellen we know from the first game, in that she was cool, persistent, faithful, loyal and had a focus on her goal, in this game right at the beginning shows an Ellen spoiled, with no respect for others, because although the bartender was wrong to judge her, he tries to redeem himself by even making a snack, which she calls him precociousituiche. She gets freaky and doesn't want to talk to Joel who just treats her like a daughter. At all times there is a force of the bar, Joel appears to be a childish and foolish ingenuity, his death occurred in a light and banal way, it could have occurred but respecting the player's intelligence. Naughty Dog Stop this SJW and focus on gameplay again. PS: Neil Druckman claims to be a champion of women but he didn't think twice about taking the position that belonged to Amy Hennig in Uncharted.… Expand

The author wants us to sympathyze the enemy, showing a "grey moral". But it just makes the game even more repulsive. Not to mention the lack of logic amid postapocallypse and senseless agenda. Wanted to throw away the game and completed it only out of respect to the characters. Very dissapointed. The first game made me buy PS4 and this sequel "turns me against" Sony.

After having seen an unknown person brutally murder one of the main characters we are already familiar with, we are then forced to play as this very person. I cannot even imagine why someone would want to do a trick like that. I got so repelled and disturbed by the scene of Joel’s death that I couldn’t sleep the following two nights.     You know that if you did, by yourself, create a completely NEW product completely in line with your ultra radical political agenda, you know that this product would not pass the number of a couple of thousands sold copies !! (Even more without the false advertising you are experts at !)

    So you hijack some big names which by themselves, you know it, will sell millions of copies! That's your kind of people's strategy, here and everywhere, again and again! Of course, false advertising is professionally applied!

    And this game set a new record in that strategy! Congratz to you! But you'll learn that many, many, many people can acknowledge them being fooled once! But you'll learn that they are learning too !

    The scenario is one of the worst I played, and you can repeat this appreciation to everything else (Artistic design, character design, scenario, originality, "respect" of the franchise, "respect" of the gamers, "respect" of anything of value in the franchise)

    So that's a score of 1/10.. but I really should remove 1 point to respond to all the 10/10.. Adapting myself to the audience here around.. but no.. here too, I'll keep the respect I have for myself..

    Thank you Naughty dog for making me a "different" gamer! You indeed made me "progress". I'm now open to spoilers! I'm now ultra careful before buying any AAA or any big franchise's products ! I'm now far more radical, following your example, with my opinions and search criterias !

The game tries to get you too care about characters who have no likable traits and having to play as a separate character that the majority don’t like and having to sit through boring cutscenes and flashbacks it feels almost as if I should get paid just to play this game.
