    I've seen examples of bots being used in the positive reviews. There were reviews that were the exact same in there to a T. I haven't played the game so I can't comment on the story although I hear it's a mess. Either way take this as a heads up that things might be a bit shady. There's a reason the user score is as low as it is.

Так же геймплей за Ебби нужен был, что бы показать другую сторону медали. Мы сочувствуем Елли, так как привязались к ней еще со времен 1 части и игра за Ебби нам дает прочуствовать ее мотивацию. О графике и детализации говорить не стоит, так как это Ноути Дог, а как мы знаем : проработка деталей у них на высоте. Ставлю 10 баллов, так как игра вывела меня на эмоции, при этом крайне сильные эмоции. Цена в 4.5к рублей оправдана, но вот оценка 3.9 на мете - нет!… Expand

    Unfortunately, I do not recommend this game.

    The graphics are absolutely stunning, probably the most beautiful game I've ever seen. The animations in cut-scenes are incredibly realistic and the acting is phenomenal. But, none of that matters because this game is hugely story driven with long cut-scenes and the story was not enjoyable for me at all. Without spoiling too much, you are    Unfortunately, I do not recommend this game.

    But, none of that matters because this game is hugely story driven with long cut-scenes and the story was not enjoyable for me at all. Without spoiling too much, you are driven to hate someone who has caused you incredible emotional pain and then half way through the story the game forces you to play as that person for 15 or so hours trying to convince you to like this person despite what they did to you and the people you love. Then, the ending takes a complete 180 and drops everything at the very last second because "ReVeNgE bAd". No payoff. Zero gratification for spending roughly 30 hours playing a $60 game.

    I have already finished the game and I can say that the graphics and the gameplay are incredible. I didn't like to much the storie, because this is not the classic storie that we all get used to see in a video game, I think that the creator could have done better with the some characters, but is not bad at all .     The game looks good, but the story is layers upon layers of woke garbage. Wish there were negative numbers for scoring because this deserves it. No idea how they thought this would be ok. What a let down for fans of the series.

    Juego totalmente a la altura de su predecesor, jugabilidad, gráficos e historia brillantes, quien no entienda que estamos en una sociedad moderna y con cabida para todo y todos respetando diferentes culturas y formas de vivir a lo mejor debe volver 20 años atrás, seguramente se encuentre más cómodo.

    There is no good part in this game. Same old gameplay, i think its really aged now. Really bad story, i mean the first series has really deep story telling and detail, but this game just no near from the first one. Well i was lucky enough to play this game without payed it. I borrowed from my friend.

Primarily the humanization of the enemy which is non-existent in many games. It showed how similar Ellie and Abby were to each other with both having their dads killed, both having friends killed, both seeking revenge, etc. At first we saw Abby as evil but we got to see her story and how she wasn't the monster we all thought she was. Lastly the choice of life or death was throughout this for example when Ellie decided to leave to kill Abby she chose death and was rewarded with the destruction of her family and life when she could've chosen to take care of her family and live a beautiful life. The storytelling should've been better but the messages behind it was what made this game worth something.… Expand

    It's a beautiful game. I have absolutely no problem with it, it has great story, has that perfect pinch of romance and drama in there, all in all its a **** amazing game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I made an account specifically for this review. I can't believe the absolute mess of story telling that this game was. We've waited almost 4 years for a follow up to a game that's close to many of our hearts. The story telling is more interested in pushing a political agenda than being anything like the original which was extremely disappointing. I will be referring to the main female antagonist's name as "A" pr else my review many not be published. I will also state that she was never present in any advertising which attributes to some of the hate we as fans feel towards her.

    Joel's death to "A" happens around 2 hours within the game. And for those thinking Joel had a heroes death, he did not. All the knowledge he had in the first game of being able to spot a trap before walking into it went completely out the window as he and Tommy strut right into "A's" base with her crew giving them their real names and the location of their camp. As a result Joel gets a shotgun blast to the knee and beaten to death by "A" with a golf club. One of the other protagonists then spits on Joel's corpse as Ellie screams in anger and Tommy lays unconscious on the floor. Naughty Dog in this scene spits in the face of any of us that were looking forward to this game. To add insult to injury, "A" is about as swoll as Kylo Ren in The Last Jedi which symbolizes the strong independent female antagonist eliminating the "evil straight white man".
    Oh yes, in the end, after slaughtering all of the enemies and having "A" on death's door, you just end up letting her go because killing is wrong. I wish I was making this up, but the game doesn't give you a choice.

    Just I mentioned The Last Jedi earlier, this game is what I would consider to be the video game equivalent of such. They even have a similar beginning to their titles, ironic.

    All in all, save your money. I bought my game day of release, then sold it two days later after being disgusted, heartbroken, and in sheer disbelief.

    We deserved better Naughty Dog. Joel deserved better Naughty Dog. The Last of Us 2 deserved better Naughty Dog.    … Expand

    Yes there are times you feel that certain agenda are being shoved forcefully down your throat-all out of nowhere- still these same plots payed out by giving the protagonist depth, in my opinion.
    Throughout the game I felt I was in Ellie’s shoes
    I understood the difficulty of remembering loved one’s face, and being confused and angry after their death; I hated playing as Abby , but step by step I started to forgive her, the way events transpired felt realistic, yes Joel didn’t die all in the the blaze of glory, yet it felt real you know why, because in real life when a loved one dies suddenly and unexpectedly, you feel cheated same as you feel In this game, i was angry all through out the game but in those final moments I felt the release that Ellie felt ,and my heart was broken!
    Revenge is indeed a scary endless dark pit that consumes all.
    Gameplay, graphics, sound, and soundtrack is a huge improvement I think all would agree!    … Expand

This game is a 7 at worst which is still good. This is last season of GOT all over again. Getting old...hope it’s just a phase. We can be better!!!

    Los personajes que conocimos en el primer juego se volvieron imbéciles en esta parte, con lo cual obtienes escenas y diálogos forzados.
    El juego quiere a toda costa que empatices con el nuevo personaje, y una vez más se nota todo demasiado forzado.
    Creo que dejar al jugador tomar la decisión final, habría sido más acertado.

    the game isn't as good as the first one but is not a bad game
    Some people say Joel death isn't make senses he is out of character,like what do you expect on that situation when infecteds chasing them in the storm Joel says ok you are safe and we are going back in a Storm and die, he didn't have a choice
    Some other people say the game force you to like abby, no the game dont Force you to like her,the hole point to play with her is that you understand the cycle and redemption
    Abby lost all of her friends because of revenge (cycle)
    Abby saves Lev and yara because she Regret for what she did(redemption)
    Ellie killed all of abby friends and in the process she lost her self her friends and family and memorys of joel and in the last moment of killing abby she understands that killing abby wont make her pain go a way its only makes it worst so she break the cycle of revenge and then you get a idea of Ellie redemption from abby redemption arc    … Expand

Играть далее не было никакого желания, поэтому я просто понизил сложность и пробежал сюжету как можно быстрее. Тот персонаж за которого мне пришлось играть во второй половине не вызывал ни симпатии ни сочувствия(как и его окружение). Мне стало просто плевать наЕсли бы была возможность купить только первую половину игры, то так бы я и сделал. Она мне понравилась. В отличии от второй. Играть далее не было никакого желания, поэтому я просто понизил сложность и пробежал сюжету как можно быстрее.     this is nothing but pandering to Woko Haram. One of the protagonists has larger muscles than any female heavy lifting Olympic Champions. If you are very progressive, you will love this game. If you are not part of that 2-3% of the population, you will be pissed you wasted your money on this crap. If you are a non-progressive fan of the series, your opinion will be treated as "hate speech".

Watching my boyfriend play and return the game within a day after waiting for years, I have never seen anyone so disappointed in my life by such an anticipated game. It is even safe-spaced to the highest degree possible in any game I have seen in this day and age. Why can you not shoot a painting because it is religious? Have you seen Saints Row? Imagine if every game in the near future took this approach, you'd be playing a simulation and not an actual game. This should've been a Netflix series, the writer is one of the most imcompetent people I have ever heard about and that's saying something coming from who they are.

As someone who played the first game three times I think I have a right to give my opinion on this and I must say I found it incredible. I think people are just salty about Joel's death so they decided to megabomb cancel the game. There's aren't any plotholes there are just butthurt fanboys who are pissed that their favourite character died. I think his death was something which was necesary to get the story moving and for every seen we see Joel in (however few there may be) they are emotionally moving and help further drive the plot. This game is incredible hands downs and deserves none of the hate it is currently getting.… Expand

We all get expectations with everything that gets a big name on the gaming industry or even in series but this story just reminded me how I got a lot of theories before the game of Thrones red wedding episode and it all fall apart when I watched it, it's just sadness everytime the game reminded me of Joel after he died and I really hopped that even if his death was inevitable it would have been better if they developed the connection between Joel and Ellie, if that was the case, this game was a 10/10.… Expand

    I think the main reason why this plot decision does not work very well with most players is that Abby killed Joel, a very likable and easily relatable character from the first installment, way too early into the game. We've seen some character development in the first part, got deeply attached to Joel and Ellie's chemestry and then the writer immediately devalues evetything that happened back then. We know it was done on purpose to show that there is so much more to the overall picture of this 'civil war' between 'the last of us' and that there are no winners.
    However, the way it was so forcefully presented so early into the game feels so wrong and unjustified that you don't want to accept this. And you probably won't since the character do not act like themselves. While Ellie has never been particularly bright she has never been this careless about decision making and Joel has never been this passive and reserved when talking to Ellie. How the hell are we supposed to believe they haven't talked about Joel's decision to save Ellie before we get to see it near the end of the game?
    When a writer or game developer introduces many new characters there are going to be problems. We've not seen the logical end of the first story, yet the author still tries to make us believe it did not matter trying to shove his view on the situation in general without proper understanding of what made the first one so likable. I think it was a huge mistakes to opt for something new without finishing the old in this case.

    HOWEVER, if you liked the story of the first one, you'll be hard-pressed to like the second one's story.

    Let me start off by saying they killed the main and one of the most beloved character in the game with the first two hours and you only play as Joel for 5 minutes!!!! Thanks Naughty Dog, you know how to make people happy! I also got the impression they we're trying to make Joel out as this bad guy, I didn't like that. Deep down we all know Joel was a great person. Then they make you play this person called Abby after she kills Joel! I didnt care for her character,I didn't care about her story. I cared about Joel and Ellie's story that's what I waited seven years for this is what happens when you give Neil druckman full control of the game! Plus to make us play as Abby and make us almost kill Ellie! Man that got my blood boiling. Why make your fans go through this I don't understand, are you a so sick deranged person man? The best part of the game were the flashbacks with Ellie and Joel and the graphics. The story was horrible and you're lucky I'm giving it to Stars instead of a zero but I understand a lot of people went through a lot of **** making this game. But, maybe just maybe if you would have Joel go out another way people maybe we would appreciate it game more. This is a spit in the face to me and to true fans of this game.     Потому что идеала не бывает! Стрельба подойдёт для всех благодаря настраиваемому автоприцеливанию, ближний бой напоминает таковой из первой части, но с заметными улучшениями. Очень порадовал дневник Элли с рисунками и записями. Передвижение, стелс и остальное тоже на высшем уровне.
    Графика 9 из 10. Все прекрасно. Отражения, анимации, пейзажи, кровь, снег, всё!
    Физика 10 верёвок из 10.
    Любовная линия 1 из 10. Абсолютно отталкивающий объект любви, Дина реально мерзкая. Я не имею ничего против однополых отношений, но тут их развитие ни стого, ни с сего. Гораздо оправданней было бы начать любовную линию после смерти Джоела, а до этого показать важность Дины и Элли друг для друга. А всякие сцены "любви" ни к месту только отталкивают.
    Сюжет 1 из 10. Смерть Джоела. Смерть героя за которого мы играли в первой части. Мы видели весь мир игры с его точки зрения, его действия и характер были оправданы сюжетом, мы сопереживали ему, чувствовали себя этим героем, а тут его просто убивают, пытаясь сделать из этого драму и загадку, но вызывают только негатив и ненависть к Эбби, ЗА КОТОРУЮ ЕЩЕ И ПРИХОДИТСЯ ИГРАТЬ!
    Персонажи 6 из 10. Милая и полезная Элли в первой части, которую любишь, хочешь защитить и доверяешь ей, сменяется Диной во второй, которой не доверяешь, которая плохо влияет на Элли. В Дине просто не нуждаешься. А попытка показать Эбби доброй просто раздражает. Второстепенные и фоновые персонажи радуют.
    Итог 6 из 10. Хорошая игра, но после смерти Джоела я просто не могу ей наслаждаться. Остаётся переживание за Элли, но месть не та цель, к которой хочется идти. А виды прекрасны. Элли тоже.     Сразу оговорюсь что механика игры мне субъективно понравилась, но только по тому что она ТАКАЯ ЖЕ как и в первой части, игра за Элли осталась из первой части, Эбби по сути это Джоел, ничего нового там нет.
    Так вот:
    1.Старт игры и тут же убивают одного из центральных персонажей, и с этого момента ты уже не веришь в происходящее. Чувство такое что тебя кинули: Эбби находит в огромном регионе именно Джоела, Элли направляется именно в сторону Джоела, куча моментов нечем не подкреплённых и абсолютно абсурдных. И в дальнейшем таких моментов будет море,чего стоила только оставленная карта в аквопарке.
    2. Игра за Эбби - ужасный рудимент который абсолютно не нужен, он скучен и ненужен. Это в пустую потраченные часов 10. Замысел разработчиков понятен, но он просто слит- я не хочу играть за антагониста, даже если нам пытаются впарить что у него был мотив.
    3. Финал - это просто УЖАС. Когда я дошёл до финала, и меня абсолютно не было жалости к Эбби - она и как персонаж вышла с гнильцой, в чём меня убедила сама игра и как же я был удивлён когда Элли её отпустила! И я опять же понимаю посыл разработчиков, но в данном случае он опять не работает.
    Я извиняюсь за возможную путаницу и разбитый ответ, игра оставляет после себя чувство разбитости, как будто меня обманули.
    В принципе если воспринимать игру не как полноценное продолжение, а фанфик фаната и убрать часть за Эбби, оценка бы была примерно 7/10.
    В сюжете есть и хорошие моменты - это воспоминания, КАК НЕ УДИВИТЕЛЬНО, с Джоелом. И как не странно но за отношениями Дины и Элли интересно наблюдать, люди которые оправдывают игру что оценку занижают шовинисты- это не так.
    В общем надеюсь что про эту игру просто забудут, но всем и так понятно разработчики рубят деньги и не остановят поток бреда.    … Expand

But unfortunately, the complete disrespect for fans of the first game is remarkable. It is not a continuation, it is just a complete destruction on the meaning of the last game, and everything it represents. I am very sad that the director forced an inclusion without any sense in this game, just to please the SJW who do not play this game. Killing Joel at the beginning of the game was a terrible idea, as the first hours of the game are resumed in drugs, lesbians and the death of a very beloved character.     Such a beautiful looking game, production wise it's amazing, it's obvious that people really worked hard for it. But why they allowed such story writing to pass through to release is beyond me. Subverting expectations is the new meta it seems, it's so edgy and pretentious it makes me want to puke.

    Le pongo un cinco porque el juego ha conseguido, como el primero, que me vicie de forma insana a un juego. Es bastante adicitivo pese a que su historia es una puta mierda, el guardado manual no sirve para nada, los NPC son casi todos un estorbo y poner cajones vacios rodeado de cajones que no se pueden abrir .

    The technical capabilities of the game were extraordinary and deserves all the praisement but the storyline was a huge disappointment and it effect me deeply. Honestly, I hate it. "The Last of Us" project was a sparkling gem but now it's just wasted with all of it's incredible potential.

    I really did not expect such a poor story after all these years of waiting. While there were a few genuinely good moments, majority of game filled up with plot holes. It just took elements of what worked for the first game without understanding what made them compelling.
