    How could they make such a bad story? This game just isn't fun to play. It has nothing in it that made The Last of Us enjoyable to play. Such a disappointment, why didn't they research on what the players want?

    Es sin duda una buena segunda parte, la jugabilidad, graficos y diseño, quizas la historia no es la mejor pero no es mala, problamente es el simple hecho de que no es la misma esencia que el anterior pero basandome que sea una historia independiente al anterior es una historia bastante melancolica y exelente.

    The Last of Us 2 foi uma aventura completamente inesperada para mim. Forte. Impactante. Sensível. Visceral. Esses são alguns dos muitos sentimentos que tive jogando o que chamo de obra prima e possivelmente o melhor exclusivo de PS4 da geração.

    Falar de The Last of Us 2 é algo complicado, pois ele é um prato cheio de spoilers. Se eu tentar falar sobre qualquer personagem ou acontecimento, posso estragar uma das muitas surpresas que a Naughty Dog preparou. Portanto irei falar o mínimo do mínimo.

    Se eu fosse avaliar individualmente a história de cada personagem ela seria apenas muito boa. Mas não teria me feito chorar no fim das 25/26 horas de minha jogatina. Algo que brilha com muita força em The Last of Us 2 são os muitos pequenos momentos em que você encontra os personagens em pontos específicos.

    Um grande destaque vai para a Inteligência Artificial (IA). Diversas vezes os inimigos irão te cercar e flanquear. Ou seja, não existe uma situação em que fique tranquilo, sempre que encontrar um novo inimigo, ficará muito tenso. Ao atingir um inimigo, contanto que não seja de forma furtiva, eles tentarão chamar um aliado, afinal eles são companheiros de guerra. Muitos te xingarão por ter matado um amigo e irão a sua caça. E claro, se tiver cachorros disponíveis, eles irão te farejar até te achar.

    Quando se fala em um jogo exclusivo, algo que muitos já esperam é um gráfico fenomenal. No caso do PS4 e especificamente em um jogo da Naughty Dog, como é o caso de The Last of Us 2, isso é uma certeza. E logicamente eles não decepcionaram.

    The Last of Us 2 pega todas as mecânicas apresentadas no primeiro jogo e retornam com elas agora devidamente melhoradas. Como uma explicação básica, ele se comporta como um jogo em terceira pessoa onde é possível atirar, correr, pegar o inimigo furtivamente, jogar molotov e plantar armadilhas. Mas vamos as novidades.

    The Last of Us 2 é uma experiência épica e poética. Aqui temos uma jornada fenomenal que irá muitas vezes lhe dar “um soco no estômago” com inúmeros acontecimentos. A Naughty Dog conseguiu se superar com essa nova aventura e além de evoluir tudo o que vimos no primeiro jogo nos traz inúmeras discussões e mostra como todas nossas ações traz um tipo de consequência.

    Esse é o tipo de jogo que chega forte para ser o melhor de toda uma geração e que lhe fará chorar quando os créditos estiverem subindo devido a um turbilhão de sentimentos.    … Expand

En lo personal, a mi eso de ma igual. Sigue siendo The last of us, es una maravilla, una obra de arte. La narración, los gráficos, la historia y jugabilidad son de lo mejor que existe hasta el momento y me parece lamentable que haya gente de mierda que lleguen hasta ponerle un puto 0, ni el peor juego del mundo se merece un 0.
    También La gente se enoja solo porque el prota muere, eso no tiene nada de malo, En star wars el prota muere y nadie dijo nada. pero cuando es un juego ahi si la gente habla.

TLOU world is a cruel world —it was realistic and brutal as it should; it was NOT meant to have a happy ending. Joel was meant to die, it was bound to happen —and Joel's last words at the end of the game were perfect!! "if the Lord gave me a second chance, I'll do it all over again". That was soul-crushing! This game was PERFECT!. It was complex, emotional, and realistic to the game's context. it subverted my expectations! To be honest I'm more concerned about the graphic violence, but that's the nature of the game. The guys at Naughty Dog hit a homerun with this one!

    Great technical achievement but the story falls short of TLOU1 in a gross way.
    How dare you kill Joel in such an unceremoniously way and for no reason?
    Ellie's revenge is petty and Abby is boring.
    Neil Druckmann was just lucky with TLOU1 and shouldn't direct any more games.

The games been getting a lot of hate for the story like Joel’s death or Abby getting spared at the end of the game. I personally love the story and I am currently replaying it right now. Also a lot of the hate is coming from people who haven’t even played and only looked at spoilers with I find stupid just give the game a chance. The hate coming from the story on Joel’s death I get but you got to realize Joel killed abbys father with made Abby want to kill Joel with I understand and the ending of hate is also fine but again you got to realize Ellie probably didn’t want it to go on.     What an exceptional game. I loved the first one and this one just surpasses it. I’m so happy to see different characters compared to the cookie cutter ones we ALWAYS see. I’m sorry about the negative reviews from neckbeards that obviously haven’t played the game. You’ve made something amazing here. Be proud of that.

    Everything is perfect in this TLOU2.
    I think it's silly for people to be reviewing 0 because even if they don't like the story, there are still mechanics and everything I mentioned before.
    I am sad to see such a low score from the players and they are probably disappointing the people who worked hard for this game to happen. People are getting sad to see such a low user score.
    I hope this user score will rise to at least 6.

I don't have a problem with Abby being buff, I don't have a problem with trans people.. I don't have a problem with Joel dying, BUT.. but the story was so poorly executed.. Here are the positives and the negatives of the game:

    POSITIVE:

    - Sound
    - Visuals
    - Voice acting
    - Gameplay
    - Fighting /shooting mechanics
    - accessibility settings for visually impaired people

    NEGATIVES:

    - False advertising, making the buyers think that Joel and Ellie are going to team up. - Not issuing refunds, like wtf??? - Deleting negative reviews, paying off media to preach the game.. - Ellie's immunity didn't mean **** in part II. They missed the opportunity to create a story around that.
    - So much **** was going on around the fireflies and they were just "simply" wiped out in 4 years.

    - Joel's, Tommy's character build up from the first game meant NOTHING next to a 3 second screentime surgeon and 10minute background on Abby.

    - Killing Joel off 2 hours into the game in such a disrespectful way, by a playable character.. By a character that only got a 10 minute backstory and the game was basically forcing you to feel sorry for her.

    - Making Tommy and Joel look like they trust people easily in an apocalyptic environment, where killing is surviving.

    - Making Abby, a playable character and forcing us to play against Ellie. (makes no sense at all), the players would have swallowed Abby as a character if she were to team up with Ellie and fight against a mutual enemy (without killing Joel lol)

    - Even after everything, Ellie loses her fingers, JJ and Dina + leaves Abby alive but kills a pregnant woman. Umm?

    - A very graphic sex scene of Abby.. Awkward, should have made a sex scene with ellie and dina lol.. - Overall story.

    They could have made the story so much better.. They could have dropped the cure thingy in the story, maybe a war with the fireflies or the cannibals.. Maybe something about Ellie's backstory (family), Abby joining the town and fighting against a mutual enemy, a little bromance between abby dina and ellie if you want to push LGBTQ so badly.. Joel getting bitten and they are rushing to find fireflies and a cure.. Maybe realizing that there are other people outside their town where they already found the cure and are living normally, so Joel + Ellie are going on an adventure like the old times, Abby comes into the story, helps them..little drama around her father etc etc, ANYTHING could have been better.. It's just poor writing and execution.. The game looks fantastic, amazing visuals, amazing voice acting, i love the new creatures, the snowing details, the dogs, etc! BUT unfortunately, this game is a STORY BASED game, most people play it for the story not the gameplay, and it disappointed us all..    … Expand

    El final es muy amargo y muy forzado pero todo lo demas si se me hizo realista y no peliculero... El gameplay, sonido, animaciones y duración son 10/10 y veo demasiada surealista la puntuación actual por partes de la historia... (Me creé apenas la cuenta para dar mi opinión sincera porque me parece ridiculo que no califiquen por completo el juego)

Eu diria que a Gameplay é 9,5, nunca gostei muito da mira dos personagens, possivelmente seja proposital, mas poderia ser um pouco melhor, outro ponto que me incomodou são que mesmo completamente parado em um canto de uma sala, os estaladores insistem em me perceber, o que não faz muito sentido, mas OK. Graficamente o jogo é lindo, não há o que comentar, minha nota neste quesito é 10. História, minha nota é 4. Porque? porque eu acho que a maneira que o Joel morre no game é completamente desnecessária e um tanto quanto desrespeitosa com o personagem que jogamos 99% do tempo no primeiro jogo. O inicio do game é chato com todo o lance juvenil da Ellie com a Dina, nada contra, só achei que ficou muito "Icarly" para um game pesado como este e não agregou em nada na historia, pelo menos pelo rumo que ela tomou em termos de narrativa. Tem muita gente dando notas muito baixas do game, não sei o porque, mas não é GOTY, e muito menos melhor que o primeiro. A Naughty Dog tinha a faca e o queijo na mão pra trazer uma obra prima como Uncharted 4 com um puta fan-service, mas optaram por um caminho ridículo que estragou o fechamento do game.… Expand

Here, in this section of metacritic users, we have a low grade of the game by the gamer community for simple and stupid reasons: a good part of the community is and prejudiced, involvingThe masterpiece of this generation. Fantastic graphics, extremely instigating and surprising narrative, intense battles, well constructed characters, mega coherent soundtrack, jaw-dropping ambiance... Here, in this section of metacritic users, we have a low grade of the game by the gamer community for simple and stupid reasons: a good part of the community is and prejudiced, involving here homophobia, misogyny and sexism. Just note: the various excuses to criticize the game and classify it with a low grade have as their core precisely the fact that the main character is a strong woman who is a lesbian.

    The narrative basically revolves around the development of this character -- and this study is much more artistic than purely commercial. It's amazing to see how some gamers (mostly straight men like me) seem to live in the "fairytale world of the straight prince".

    Things like "This character couldn't die because he was the alpha man; without him the narrative wouldn't turn..." and "Ew! Ellie is gay" are common on top of a game that proposes to adopt a fantastic and dystopian style of realism in almost all its fields, with a study of narrative and realistic character arc, in which anything can happen (such as, for example, the event that motivates Ellie's revenge). The very line of diverse individuality of the characters is realistic.

    It is extremely sad to see the gamer community arm in arm with the intention of destroying a game for infantilized reasons (the "Disney world" of the straight and prejudiced man) and of lowering the gender and stigmatizing the sexual orientation of a character. All with the medieval ignorance of a person who wants to extend his prejudice and anachronistic stupidity to the world of art.

    Understand: realistic art and the study of characters seek to reflect precisely the veins of our own reality; the everyday, the common, the mundane, the plural and diverse society needs to be portrayed. The real world needs to be felt within realistic fiction. And the game does that with mastery. But it is being attacked by simply normalizing something that is already normal and extremely real.

    Here, it's interesting to see how well that reality is mirrored in the narrative and characters of the game. After all, this stupidly medieval and prejudiced gamer community could easily be translated in the game itself as "Serafitas".

    Grow up gamer community: study, reflect, stimulate mirror neurons and start to better understand the real world.    … Expand

Naughty Dog and Neil truly could not have created a better sequel.     A great game that builds on the world of the first game. Yes it has its views but if you can look past that and enjoys the world and story that Naughty Dog has buildt then I fully believe you can enjoy this game.

    I’m loving it, just as I did with TLOU Remastered, I am giving a 9 only because of the FPS, usually I don’t mind much about it, but I think Naughty could have done a bit better on this matter.
    Try the game, it’s totally worth it

    I bought this in light of the critic score selling it as a worthy successor but the game is absolute garbage, what is going on here? What a strange game this has been. I can not reccommend it unfortunately. A sequel in name only.

    The Abby part make me unhappy when they let me play as a character i already set my mind to hate her from earlier part and see how cheap they make me to sympathize her just doesnt give me any eager to continue playing as her
    Many characters were poor written as Mel,she is pregnant and go to warzone, climb, balance... OMG so realistic.

This game is first of all, NOTHING like its predecessor.As an absolute fan of The Last Of us and someone who played the first game in launch week, I've been passionately following the release of this heavily anticipated sequel. This game has a ton of controversy surrounding it so knowing that I will simply do my very best to give the most honest opinion possible. NOTE FOR SPOILERS AHEAD. This game is first of all, NOTHING like its predecessor. And that is both a great thing and a terrible thing. In fact, upon my first playthrough of this game I had so many mixed feelings that even now I still need to process it all. I can definitely say however that I have zero problems regarding the actual gameplay. The visuals and animations, the design and graphics and combat and traversal, its all something amazing. Nothing groudbreaking but definitlely a worthy and noteable upgrade from the original. My mixed feelings derive from the story. That is what The Last Of Us is truly known for. The theme of revenge and violence begets violence is nothing new in modern media but it is still engrossing nonetheless. But the character direction, motives, and bleakness of the world and story makes it hard for me to consider this game as fun. It is intense and in all honesty, I found myself vastly disagreeing with the stories directions at points. Especially considering that you have to play almost half the game as the essential antagonist of the story. I still am trying to understand what would make Naughty Dog feel that this was a good idea. I understand that the point was to humanize Abby but (with purpose of keeping the story vague) after what she does to multiple beloved characters, there is simply no way I can root for her. Ellie however is completely different from the girl we protected back in 2013. Much has changed. The story has many beats and many points which are reasonably divisive over the community and a subject for debate for years to come and the ending left me with a feeling of emptiness that I once again cannot be sure is a good feeling or horrible. This game is unique in execution though heavily flawed in ways that regard the narration. Still, it is a technical marvel and a story which must be decided on a personal basis without any peer pressure or community bias. I enjoyed the game and despite my issues, I do appreciate how I wrestle around on my standpoint towards the plot and my standpoint as a fan in general. Play it first then decide but overall, for me this game is definitely worth a shot. Although I do enjoy the original game more, Part 2 is surely a journey to be had.
    Overall Visuals and tech-10/10 Animations and sound-10/10 Gameplay and combat-9/10 Story(For my personal experience based on my first playthrough of 24 Hours total)-6/10. It has incredible moments but there are certain things that I find hard to justify considering the magic of TLOU 1 and the 7 years ND has had to set an alternative work in motion. Still, the ambition behind it all is something that should be given recognition. In the end, you be your own judge.    … Expand

    Les trolls, les haters, les pro d'une autre console qui rage sont de sortie. J'en suis qu'à quelques heures avec quelques passages fort déjà, mais je peux dire que ça reste fidèle au précédent, c'est beau, les transition sont invisible, une très bonne réalisation et une histoire qui tien la route pour le moment.
