    A technical masterpiece, really high levels of visuals and gameplay. But that's it. The plot is horrible, players are force fed with meaningless violence, woke and sjw narrative, it is more like a political campaign disguised as an AAA game. As good as TLOU was plot wise, this is just DISGUSTING CRAP. I hope Neil an Anita die a really painful death, for killing off one of my all timeA technical masterpiece, really high levels of visuals and gameplay. But that's it.     Matar al personaje más querido para emprender una aventura de asesinatos y al final no vengar la muerte del personaje más querido solo porque la venganza no es buena, después de haber asesinado a medio país. Inclusión forzada y arruinar toda la saga.

    U guys pay the reviewers... so **** looooow. That could be the greatest game in history but u just want to ruin the characters, their essences and story just for the agenda. Felt so rushed, the gameplay wasn't spectacular but the players just wanted what TLOU I gave, A NICE STORY AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, this game didn't have it... Its a sad day in gaming history. U should be ashamed.

    este juego es muy pesado me ha sido muy difícil terminarlo ya que es muy aburrido y desesperante. por favor no mal gastes tu dinero. sin duda es uno de los peores juegos que he jugado en mi vida. una desepcion total.

    Sin duda es un juego mucho más complejo y elaborado que no es para todo público, que aportan bastante siempre y cuando hayas jugado la primera parte.
    Es uno de los juego que más emociones me ha dado y decir que a nivel de historia inferior a su primera entrega pues es respetable debido a que no hay mucha evolución de los personajes, sin embargo las distintas formas en las que    Sin duda es un juego mucho más complejo y elaborado que no es para todo público, que aportan bastante siempre y cuando hayas jugado la primera parte.
    Es uno de los juego que más emociones me ha dado y decir que a nivel de historia inferior a su primera entrega pues es respetable debido a que no hay mucha evolución de los personajes, sin embargo las distintas formas en las que experimentas las consecuencias de la venganza es indiscutiblemente maravilloso, realmente te hace sentir culpable de los actos que has cometido, haciéndote sentir una basura en algunos momentos, y debo admitir que llegaron partes del juego que me dieron ganas de no agarrar el control porque simplemente no quería ver una "supuesta" muerte más.
    Aparte de algunos errores técnicos casi indetectables o como que uno que otro bug muy rara vez, es un juego muy completo y pulido, y si, quizá el final fue un poco esperado al principio de verlo, pero después de analizarlo no fue como otros finales de la típica venganza en la que se le perdona la vida al enemigo simplemente porque eso "no nos haría una mejor persona que el", si no que en este caso le perdona la vida porque por ese instante ellie se logra perdonar la muerte de joel, lo que finalmente la libera de sus pesadillas, pero a un costo enorme, perdiendo todo lo que alguna vez tuvo, es decir, le perdonó la vida porque ella lo necesitaba, más no porque era lo "correcto".
    En resumen un gran juego con una historia muy buena y fuera de lo común en videojuegos (almenos de la forma en la que está contada) y que sin duda sabe hacerte ver la cruda realidad de la vida.
    Muy recomendable si están dispuestos a una historia mucho más compleja y madura, pero si estas acostumbrado a que todo sea color de rosas u odias todo lo que sea que no es como quieres, pues mejor no lo juegues o lo veas, porque una crítica sin haberlo jugado es la más grande estupidez que alguien puede hacerle a un videojuego.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. To be honest I really wanted to like this game, but I just can't seem to, even after I've let the end simmer down a bit. I feel really disappointed. What made TLOU1 so so good and timeless was, in my opinion, the story. The characters allowed you to feel hope, after establishing a world in which everything feels lost, cold, and hardened. It explores a personal story of two people who on their way to deliver the creation of a vaccine simultaneously find meaning to their lives in such a tough world (very reflective of our own world). The growth of Joel and Ellie's relationship as they both become more and more loving towards each other is one of the most touching things I've seen in gaming. It was valuable emotionally and allowed room for growth.

    We know this world is bleak - people are really desperate, they would kill and loot to survive. They would betray and make selfish decisions. People are utterly inhumane - which is true in both games. TLOU1 uses this as a strength to convey a meaningful story, Joel and Ellie fight for more than to just survive. In TLOU2, it's like the creators wanted to display torture for the sake of torturing. There is no substance in the story, in the new characters, in the relationships, and decisions. It's so disappointing because technically, the game is incredible. The screenplay, scenery, sound effects are insane. Even the little countless ways to subvert your expectations and the creepy atmosphere is nailed amazingly. However, this combined with the story leaves a bad taste. A second good thing I can say is though, if you genuinely like the story, then it is rewarding for you. There are a lot of cool parallels, like Abby finding someone to care for, just like Joel with Ellie.

    But I don't like the story.

    It's not even about the creation of characters to fit a certain agenda. I'm one of the POC identified in the game, as well as part of LGBT+, but at some parts of the game, the representation feels almost forced? Personally, I think it'd be more effective representation if one's identity isn't shoved in your face a lot of the times and would even become a part of the plot. It just doesn't make sense to me, in such a world where death is so easy. The best scenes to me, the ones where I could have cried, were the very few scenes with Joel and Ellie in flashbacks. Those were spectacular and held value for me more than seeing someone who just looked like myself on screen. Everything else felt like a dry spell, and in my head, once the flashbacks would end, I'd be thinking, "Here we go again.." It's a ridiculously bad written plot and I don't understand how this franchise could fall from grace so steeply.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is a bold sequel to one of my favorite games ever. It's not ought to satisfy everyone with its plot full of twists as they don't play safe with it, you'll get angry and cry but it's OK. The gameplay alone makes it one of the best things on the game industry.

    It's a shame actual Nazis are review bombing this game because it features minorities. Diversity and    The Last of Us Part II is a bold sequel to one of my favorite games ever. The last of us part 2 just humiliates all of it's wonderful characters, the plot is a mess filled with many large plot wholes, the gameplay hasn't improved at all, the new characters will make you cringe.     I finished The Last of Us 2 moments ago. I am in tears. This game affected me emotionally in ways I couldn't imagine. The Last of Us 2 is incredibly heavy. I had to put down the controller for regular breaks throughout, but I would still play it again.

    I knew about a lot of the bad reviews coming into the game. I even wavered in my support for a while about halfway through the game (those    I finished The Last of Us 2 moments ago. I am in tears. This game affected me emotionally in ways I couldn't imagine. The Last of Us 2 is incredibly heavy. I had to put down the controller for regular breaks throughout, but I would still play it again.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well, today I finished the THE LAST OF US PART II. My anger and disappointment knew no bounds. PLOT!!! No, of course I understand that we need a strong motivational tie, but to kill Joel at the beginning of the game is simply disastrous. And now after his murder we set off to avenge! The plot is based on this.
    We kill almost everyone who killed Joel, and contrary to the majority, I watched with pleasure how Ellie kills them all one by one (besides this, I calmly reacted to the fact that Mel was killed and she didn’t care that she was pregnant). But something happens and at the end of the game we leave Abby alive without killing ourselves. Frankly, I felt anger and DISAPPOINTMENT !!!!!! I don't care that Abby suddenly has a boy / girl whom she decided to take care of! Eye for Eye Tooth for Tooth! I would gladly drown her there, for Joel and Jesse without regret.
    What is **** ?? Forgiveness? Good? To hell! I do not believe in it! You go, so go to the end !!!
    Further, the characters are well developed, however, Naughty Dog suddenly became representatives of SJW!
    Are you guys serious ?! Homosexual relationships are disgusting and not acceptable! Women belong to men, and men belong to women, period! And call me what you want! Each girl is my potential wife, until it is proved that she has a boyfriend / husband. Yes, I am selfish and you girls my happiness will not give you a lesbian evil!
    Our second main character is Abby. Seriously? I was not saturated with her special emotions. She killed Joel let out of revenge but killed and I wanted her to die the whole game !! And the fact that she saved some kind of seraphite does not change anything. But really, thanks for being at least heterosexual.
    The gameplay has changed little from the first part; it is pretty not bad but outdated. the character’s modifications and improvements are made in such a way that you don’t pump everything in one pass, I personally didn’t really like it. It would be better if for the second passage I would quickly open all of them.
    The graphics are incomparable here everything is super, the music is also beautiful.
    The conclusion is that due to the fact that Naughty Dog suddenly became representatives of SJW, the game gets 2/10. For graphics and music.

It simply makes you swallow an opinion, whether religious or political, the game gives you no choice. The guy gives an opinion of himself in the game and makes you in a forced way swallow, and he may be very well wrongOne of the worst scripts I've ever seen, who wrote this?     I would like to as the devs, how the hell Joel and ellie got so distant, I mean in the first game they had such a good chemistry, in the couple scenes we get to see them interact is like they strangers it's cringy as hell to see Joel interact with the girl he saved and considered a daughter. It's just stupid tbh..... Killing Joel right off the bat, are u serious?? The iconic character from first game... Are you serious?! Why so early??!! Why not more back story before it?!! People would probably wouldn't be so shocked..... But at this rate am done playing the game.... I played only thru the chick killing Joel and am done.. Idc about the rest, Joel was my fav and hhe ded.. This game is stupid, and from spoilers I read, ellie doesn't get revenge and we are forced to play as Abby, Joel's killer... **** outta here.     Just truly sad, they managed to ruin this franchise for me. The gameplay was great but the awful story managed to overshadow any other positive things in this game. I'm so disappointed, the first games is one of my favorite games of all time, but this, this isn't the last of us.

The graphics are absolutely killing it, probably the best as it gets for this console Generation. But oh my god they spit us in the face with this "story". I am now very very careful about buying another Naughty Dog Game where Neil Druckmann is involved, because i think that it was his idea to do that and sadly there is no Bruce Straley anymore.

    Just a piece of **** the history looks that had been writen by a children, doesn't show a evolution of the characters, the gameplay looks good but when you see the bugs you gonna be disappointed, abby is a **** character that seems it gonna have a part 3 of her history, all the leaks are true what a piece of crap.

    Basically my progress got bricked early into the game with a double bug combo: a lethal elevator rope and gap where the rest of the level should be once I got the rope bit right. I thought at least the perfectionist dev company was above selling broken games

    Absolutely master class of story telling. Repeatedly punches you in the gut with powerful emotional moments. The first game was my favorite game of all time. This blew it out of the water completely. This is my favorite piece of media I have ever experienced. Gameplay is a refined version of the origina I cannot possibly recommend this enough.

Great And a new incredible soundtrack composed by Santaolla and an agile, exciting game mode and at the same time terrifying, which allows you to adapt the difficulty soAfter playing each chapter of TLOU2 the only thing I can say is worthy successor to the first game. that beyond a great combination that achieve the most amazing graphics that you will see on this generation and beyond... Great And a new incredible soundtrack composed by Santaolla and an agile, exciting game mode and at the same time terrifying, which allows you to adapt the difficulty so that each user, even if he is not an expert, enjoys the game, again the script is polished to the extreme, to cause that even days after finished, you do not stop thinking about everything what you lived in this outstanding world!… Expand

    La historia fue horrible metieron a un personaje básicamente inventado como fue el doctor único en el mundo siento que forzaron la historia y básicamente no fue la venganza de Ellie si no de otro personaje que se obligó que tenga carisma sin contar que hubo rellenos sin sentidos

I discovered that I had a lot of glitches in my playtrue. I ran into instances when fighting enemies where I fell through walls into nothingness repeatedly. Other times, my character became stuck on invisible ladders while climbing walls. If it happened once or twice, I would let it slide but it felt like the game was made with a first day patch in mind. From a graphics standpoint, I expected much more. The graphics are improved since the last game circa 2013, which is expected, yet are not as groundbreaking as I have heard from friends. They are quite similar if not slightly worse than the graphics from 'RDR2' and 'GOW' which came out more than two years ago. That being said, the graphics were one of the things I enjoyed about the game. The story was difficult to get through. I was able to understand characters motivations but felt that the execution was lacking. I enjoyed Ellies relationship with Dina but could not connect with any of the other new characters in the same way. I felt that Jesse's character in particular could have been fleshed out more given the games running time, which ran longer than the first. It made me hard to sympathise with these new characters when the revenge plot kicks in. I think the game lacks the ambiguity of its predecessor. The first game made characters organically feel grey. Joel, Marlene, Bill and Ellie all had their own intentions that you could understand even if you disagreed with it. Most of the characters in the first seemed to show human emotion towards their actions, both the good and the bad yet the sequel strays from this. Even the worst characters in the first showed a glimpse of humanity in their actions yet the sequel takes all of the humanity out of the characters. Overall, in a story driven game if you find yourself at times bored and at others wishing to play other excellent story driven games such as 'Life is Strange' or 'Telltales TWD' then you know the story has issues.… Expand

    The (HORRIBLY) Bad: The story, and this is BAD, its a narrative game, the story is the most important thing.
    SPOILERS, Joel is killed by Abby, a new character, she is the daughter of one of the surgeons Joel killed in the first game, okay, she seeked revenge, but the writing of the story lets her do it so easy it's disrespectful to the character of Joel, he and his brother acted dumb before Joel's death, and Abby does it so early in the game, well thats the way the story starts, pretty **** but well, oh wait, the game forces you to play as her, and let her get everything she wants, oh she wants to beat Ellie and her girlfriend even though they are our favorite characters, and what's even worse, Ellie even when she nearly dies, killed all of Abby's friends and boyfriend, and encounters with a weaker Abby, she doesn't get her revenge, she doesn't kill Abby, Abby didn't even wanted to fight, and still got away, again Abby gets everything she wants despite us the player hating her for what she did to Joel, what an disappointing ending.

    What they did to Joel and Ellie is just disrespectful to the character, how they changed them to a completely new and horrible character that is Abby.

    It breaks my heart that I have to give this score to the sequel of one of my favorite games, If not my #1 favorite game.    … Expand

    This game has amazing atmosphere. The environments and sound design are truly phenomal. Also the voice acting and animations are really good. There are more parts to a game though. Lets start with gameplay. Overall the gameplay is fine, but after a long time with not a lot of change in it it gets too repetitive. A lot of encounters start feeling the same. Then the characters. While the characters are really well voice acted and have great animations, they are a very flat/empty. We aren't given a reason to care about them, which also makes anything that happens to them less impactful. The story part of the game is the biggest mess. The story is mediocre, very much unlike the first game, and has serious pacing issues. Sometimes it skips parts that could have been interesting, but often it is too slow and is dripfeeding you small bits of story. But the biggest problem is delivery. The order in which the story is told and the way it is done is incredibly jarring and is a real detriment to the experience. Also the bold decision they made to have you play approx. half the game as Abby (while also advertising the game with only Joel and Ellie) has not worked out at all. At the start I actively did not want to play as her as the game has only painted her as a bad person and has not given the player any reason to like her. All things considered I still enjoyed the game, but not as much as I should've with a Naughty Dog game and it especially did not live up to the emotional level The Last of Us 1 had.    … Expand

It's a shame a lot of people instantly dismiss it over certain plot points...I truly recommend everyone who is hesitant to give this game a chance, it's such a mindblowingly great game.

    Solo puedo decir que duele que hallan matado al héroe de la película, tiene demasiadas confusiones (al menos para mi), la compañía de Naughty Dog se la jugo demasiado con agregar Flashback durante casi toda la historia, tanto al principio como al final (solo el ultimo Flashback fue mi favorito :( ).
    Hay varias muertes por ambos bandos muchos de ellos fueron amigos cercanos de nuestras protagonistas, que cada vez te daba una rabia en encontrar al culpable. Pero bue ya sabemos el final...
    Lo único que queda decir es que no me duele... me quema, me lastima que hallan matado a mi héroe. Esperemos que la siguiente entrega o DLC que vallan a sacar sea algo mucho mas que solo la venganza, y tenga una buena historia como la anterior porque si o si habrá otra parte.

    The Emotions i had in this Game i never had in any other game.

    About the Gameplay

    its pretty much like in the First one in my Opinion for me i really hate the Shooting in the Game cause it is made really realistic i guess. And its Kinda hard even on Very Easy. But this isnt a Bad Thing if something is made Realistic. So u need to play more sneaky. But it also good made with the new Mechanics like Laying and going through Small things.

    About the Level Design

    Of the Citys like Seattle, i need to say its really Amazing how good this is looking and how Naughty Dog made it. Im in Love with the Citys and the Buildings. the Mission design is also really Great.

    About the Characters

    The Ellie Character is Very Very good Designed how she Reacts in her Language Sad/Happy/Angry its pretty Impressiv how they did this.

    The Dina Character im already in Love with expect when u see The Farm Chapter and her Reaction and how she Cares about Ellie.

    The Jesse Character is also good Designed but he had to less Screentime in my Opinion to make a Judgement but overall he had some funny Jokes and was overall a nice Partner to Travel with.

    The Abby Character is in my Opinion besides of Ellie the best Character. She is so good Designed and i really liked the 3 1/2 Chapters we played as her. How she Cares about the Kids, i really really liked her Story.

    i need to say, i think they are a lot easyer to kill than i the first Part but thats only cause u have a Knife which doesnt Destroy with Ellie so u can Instant Kill a Clicker or some other from Behind all the Time. About the New Infecteds the Shambler was Scarry and hard at the Beginning but later if u figuer out how its pretty Easy.

    About the Details.

    The Level of Details Naughty Dog put in this game is beyond the Sky. Its a whole new level, which i never seen before. But well we dont expect anything other from Naughty Dog.

    About the Music.

    The Music was set so Perfect on every Situation ur in i never experience something like this.

    About the Graphics.

    I never seen a Better Graphic on the Playstation than in this Game for me its even Better than in RDR2.

    In my Opinion the Death of Joel needed to be Brutal like this cause, u cant give the Player a REAL reveng feeling and Ellie aswell if u let some Character Die which the Player only see for a few Hours. So i needet to be Joel on a very Brutal way and his Life needed to End like this. About the Ending i understand why many People are Upset about it Ends. Cause so Joel´s Death was for Nothing. I fully Understand that but i also Understand the Ending a bit. Ellie is only a Human and i think when she saw how much Abby Cared about Lev. And they shove up the character who killed him, which is Abby, up your ass half of the game to force you to like her. Storyline destroy this hard work into pieces. Killing Joel at start was hard piece to take. When I got this game was prepared for just about anything but I wasn’t prepared how emotional I’ll get in the last 2 hrs you get to witness a characters death so horrendous it was so mind blowing. It reminded me of a scene of The Walking Dead when Negan used his baseball bat to Glen that’s what exactly happened to Joel I was utterly heartbroken to see this amazing character get killed off so quickly that your head would spin. Through out my play through I was so angry with Abby all I wanted was to kill her like Ellie no matter what the cost was once you get to mid part of the game you play as Abby which took place right after of her killing Joel it was the weirdest feeling in the world to play as a character that just brutalized someone that you deeply cared for and not only that took care of Ellie. So, you begin to play and start seeing why Abby was looking for Joel and exactly why she killed him. Well, from the first Last Of Us when Joel went on his murderous rampage to save Ellie However one the surgeons he kills was Abby’s father which was super interesting and I hate to say this I was beginning to like Abby in a strange way. this game was so powerful and made me cried to many times I’ve lost count cause I think what hit the hardest is that both characters lost something so dear to them that they would do anything in their power to avenge their fathers death but at the ending the two broke that cycle of violence then moved on if Naughty Dog gave you the choice of killing or forgiving that would be super interesting to see what people did and see the outcome being both cannon of course but all in all. I loved this game plan on playing it again very soon cause The Last Of Us Part 2 was phenomenal and would be really curious about a third one will ever happen or give us a spin off series as to where you play as tommy that would great.… Expand

    "The Last Of Us 2" seemed like a completely cool game to me due to the graphics and gameplay, but I waited a bit longer on certain things. Some of Abby's flashbacks were incesarios, the only good and interesting ones were about her relationship with her dad and how she saw him pass away.

    A part gave more prominence to her than Ellie.

    In a third part they can improve those points.

    Let's be honest. This is not the worst game. But because of the venality of all gaming journalists, the public has to somehow degenerate their discontent. They would give an adequate assessment and people would react normally. And so the game is 5-6 / 10, at least I got some pleasure from it.

    To everyone crying, get over it. The game is dark the tone is dark. It is brutal and unforgiving. You want Disney? Go watch Disney.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
