    Hola... lo he comprado con mucha ilusión, pero.. me ha parecido muy aburrido, gráficos mucho peor de lo que me esperaba y gameplay repetitivo.. y la historia/guión horrible..y no es una review bombing :-), siempre me han gustado los juegos de Naughty Dog, pero este, al menos las primeras horas, muy tedioso. uuff.     The last of us 1 made me buy a PS4, but The last of us part 2 will make me sell it.

    Perfect graphics, decent gameplay but nothing can save the game from the TERRIBLE STORY.

How can we skip Joel’s rampage and eventual path to safety??? And jump straight into playing damn snowball fights and a stupid virtual guitar. Naughty Dog was gutted a few years ago, and we should’ve seen the writing on the wall then. Another potentially groundbreaking game ruined by feelings… Expand

    firstly, I liked the first game. Great characters, well done story. This new game is not badly done technically. But the story and the message as well as the blatant political agenda that is behind it makes it unplayable for me.

This is a horribly uninspired game which falls flat on its face as it tries to shove SJW propaganda down your throat. Stay away from it and don't fall for the paid reviews that are calling it the best game. I just finished it. I really wanted to love this game.     The Gameplay / Graphics / Atmosphere are Superb, definitely an improvement over the first game. The Story Develemont and Plot on the other hand is completely Trash! WTF Neil Druckmann! how could you?. Never would i thought, that naughty dog would disappoint me like this. This Game is not worth your money, go watch it on Twitch/Youtube if you really need to...     To open up, the graphic is one of the best out there. But, as someone who placed a story and character in-game above everything, then this game is absolute garbage. Why on earth do you kill off a beloved character and doesn't give any decent justification of it?     The writing is very bad and amateur, the dialogue made me physically cringe many times, when characters speak in a manner that people don't in real life, all "relationship/ friend" characters seem to have the same exact way of interacting with each other, people make out of character decisions or say out of character things in order to service the "new" story, which retcons a lot of things from the 1st game in order to push a new narrative, tries to "assasinate" the old characters while putting the new one on a pedestal, it is done badly and feels very artificial, essentialy trying to emotionaly trick the player/viewer to sell the new narrative.

    And in the end it even manages to fail to accomplish its own narrative, because it gives the exact opposite message while at the same time it also makes everything that happened throughout the 20+ hours of gameplay pointless, I find that astounding. 1 point for running when you put the disc in.    … Expand

    Great graphics and sound. Technically the game is up there with the best. But the story and characters are atrocious. Dont waste your money and certainly dont let your kids play this political piece of trash. LOU1 was a classic, one of the best games of our generation, the sequel is one of the worst examples of gaming narrative you'll ever come across.

    Been a naughty dog fan since uncharted 1. Loved the last of us 1. I was waiting excitedly for the follow up. Unfortunately they ruined the story and I will now pretend the last of us part 2 doesn’t exist. It does however have pretty graphics though so a 1 instead of 0. I hope naughty dog gets out of this rut or they hand off the uncharted series to a game studio that will do it justice.

Did pre order Part 2, played till to a point, where this amazingly written story crushes everything that I loved and forces you to continue in this messed up story. Unfortunately, couldn't finish the game because I smashed the Playstation in half. Now, I own a Playstation to myI don't even own a PlayStation. Had to borrow from my cousin. Played Last of Us remastered. Love that game.     As a huge fan of Naughty Dogs and an avid lover of The Last of Us franchise, I'll be honest.

    > Is this game worth my money? No.
    > Will I play this game again? Never.

    Let me clarify what I mean. I'll rate this game based on the following metrics: Gameplay, Story, Visual, Soundtrack, Innovation.

    Gameplay: Gameplay is somewhat acceptable. This isn't definitely a big step up but it works. No major complaint.

    Story: This is probably THE weakest part of the game. If you played the previous games, you should know that story has been one of the integral parts of what makes this game unique. Not only this game missed those heart-wrenching and emotional moments, but the story also felt forced as ever. It felt like they weren't even trying. A major downgrade in the quality of the story and conveyed no message whatsoever.

    Visual: Probably the only good thing about this game. If you don't mind playing a mediocre and not-so-important game for the sake of outstanding visuals, grab this one. This game will surely surprise you with eye-catching graphics.

    Soundtrack: Soundtrack is good. Not the best one out there but definitely tries to get you immersed into the game, which it could've done if it weren't for the boring and inanimate storyline.

    Innovation: Zero innovation. Doesn't bring anything new into the franchise. Avid fans like me who eagerly wait for these games wouldn't care much if this game never existed in the first place.

    Final Verdict: If you're considering buying this game and not sure if you should buy the game, I'll help you out. DON'T. If one word could describe this game, that would be "cash-grab". Naughty Dogs changed their previous gameplay elements and mechanics here and there and shipped this game in a new package. The story is as bad as it can get. It singlehandedly destroyed the reputation the franchise has been building up for years. If it weren't for the eye-catching graphics, I don't think I could've sat through the whole game. Not recommended. I hope Naughty Dog takes fans' response as a red flag and focuses on delivering great stories and gameplay.    … Expand

This was a game that was a no brainer that I was going to get Day 1 before seeing the leaks of the awful story, horribly misleading media and the criminal attacks on Youtubers by Sony/Naughty Dog. The antiquated game play, bland level design and grey world are not saved by goodBeen playing Naughty Dogs games since they began and have loved many especially the Uncharted series and TLOU. This was a game that was a no brainer that I was going to get Day 1 before seeing the leaks of the awful story, horribly misleading media and the criminal attacks on Youtubers by Sony/Naughty Dog.     Impressive graphics but not a good game and with a stupid story. This is not the fans want, the fans love the main characters to win so that you as a player, you will feel you are winning too. But in this game you are not, you will totally feel a loser at the end. Not cool Naughty Dog!

    The story of this game was definitely interesting to say the least, but it came no where close so the story of the first game. Uninteresting and flat characters made the story feel less engaging than the first game. Also, the game was very simular to the first game in every aspect, almost like it should have a DLC.     Heard the leaks... decided to hold off buying despite the fact that I loved the story (did not like the gameplay) in the last of us 1. So the only part of the game I liked which was the characters and the story were abandoned and the gameplay remains largely unchanged.     I absolutely hated this games story, it’s a complete slap to the face of fans of the first game.
    The graphics are great as expected.
    The gameplay itself is mediocre, barely any innovation over the last game.

    I am heartbroken, I have waited many many years for the sequel to my favorite story driven game of all time just for them to botch it hard... I wish I could get a refund.. I played the first one at least 5 times and I can barely get through the 2nd one.. if that says anything.. games beautiful though... story is some fake woke bull crap that I understand

    The plot is an insufferable, woke, SJW, nonsensical, petty revenge story . The game certainly looks nice, but who would care about this in a narrative-driven product?

Complete and utter rubbish and an insult, I stayed away from the leaks that ND said was not true and guess what everything about the leaks that I have now read are true. Sony and ND lied to everyone and they just don't care, Neil Druckman even has a collectors card in the game that I found where he awards himself 100 for intelligence.

    This game butchers the LORE for TLOU universe, Joel, Tommy and Ellie are like completely different people.

    The animations on the characters are just weird especially when walking in a scripted section, that GTA5 speed up and slow down is present even tho people swore it wasn't.

    Game play is no different from the first outing, there is nothing new going on and lots and lots of boring fillers to pad the fact out there is no story, no engaging story anyway.

    Neil Druckman said ND wants to shock the audience do things different do what other studios don't, other studios don't do this because this NDs approach and story telling this time does not work.

    The death of Joel is a complete insult not just that this nobody who is so wooden and boring kills him, but that it's out of your hands and whole thing is a cutscene, oh and Abbeys BF spits on Joels corpse that's the BF who is Druckmans double.

    The sex scene i'm still haunted about as it is just weird!

    I could go on but there is no point, Sony and ND are dead to me, they have lied in the build up to release and completely insulted a loyal fan base that had seven years invested.

    Especially in 2020 gaming is good to escape reality especially with lockdown and all the misery in the world, this game will just make you feel worse with it's hard left agenda, within the first ten minutes the word bigot is thrown around, Sony and ND are big on double standards and their behaviour to any criticism with certain Youtubers that called them out is outrageous.

    Anyway i'm ranting but i'm burned, oh and if any of the journos that found fault but still awarded a 10/10 your dead to me, any wonder why people go off the user reviews on here and tomatoes these days, journos award 10/10 out of fear so the left don't go after them, lose their job and get called a Nazi for not agreeing.    … Expand

    - I enjoyed the atmosphere from time to time but as I said it was getting boring for me and other viewers.
    - Game play itself is nothing new. Stupid AI. Hard to move around. No new features were introduced since the first game. I shall remind you - it was 7 years ago, and this is 3A game.
    - PLOT. Classic revenge plot. Badly executed. If you would like to play a game with a similar scenerio check out Far Cry 3 - amazing game, still to this day. They knew how to handle this kind of story.
    Naughtydawg tho.... Not only they ruined what people loved in the first game but delivered poiontless game in which how it turns out you can't alteret evens in one bit.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us Part 2 is by far the worst game I’ve ever played and I’ve platinum over 300+ games including TLOU2. The story was immensely poor with subplots going nowhere, characters acting out of character inconsistently. Heavily pregnant people running, jumping, climbing and leaping from buildings somehow? Introducing characters nobody cares about and making you care for them for over 10 hours only to kill them off anyway.

    Then there’s the worst character to be introduced into any video game ever, Abby who has a personality of a wet fish, who becomes the most unlikeable character in the game after she kills Joel and try’s to justify it by saying, that Joel killing her dad after he pulls a scalpel on him is okay and enough of an excuse to kill him?? The graphics was also buggy, mostly when your playing as Ellie, and the cringe sex scene was so out of place and unnecessary just like Abby’s half of the game.

    Overall TLOU2 is a miserable excuse of the game which prefers to focus on pandering rather than interesting gameplay. So the reason why most people hate it, is because it was a really big disappointment for fans who were looking forward to decent sequel to match up the first game.    … Expand

I’m only about 5 hours into the game so take it with a grain of salt but I can agree with most of these reviews and am truly baffled by the number from the “critics” giving this game a 95! Honestly, I almost stopped playing after Joel was killed. I almost threw up I was so disgusted with how ND decided to kill off probably the most loved character in gaming history. Truly a slap in the face.

    It’s also questionable, imo, to have such a “woke” storyline. Practically turning off most gamers. I’m not homophobic but I would appreciate if not everything in my life is someone/something trying to push their progressive political views on me.

    If I wanted that **** in my life I would create a Twitter account and join the “woke”, “cancel-culture” crowd of 20-30 year olds with a functioning brain power of 5 year olds.

    I’ll finish the game no doubt, but I already know it will be forgotten in a week. Unlike the first game that still brings up fond memories.    … Expand

The critic reviews made it seem like the first half of the game was Ellie and Joel oriented, but Joel dies in the first hour or so of playing the game. The trailers even outright lie to make it seem like Joel will be a part of Ellies path of vengeance when he pulls her away and asks "You think I'd let you do this on your own?" And later character swaps him with Jessie instead. Joel dying was expected, but it was so poorly done that it leaves a bad taste. Parts of the game came off as a teen drama. Dialogue about ex girlfriends/boyfriends, breakups, pregnancies, cheating etc. They've skipped ahead several years and you're expected to just already be connected to strangers. The character and relationship development is non existent. You spend most of the game chasing after Tommy with Dina and finding Joels killers, getting some revenge on the way and the toll it takes on Ellie, which is decent. When you finally get face to face with Abby the game just pauses and sends you back twelve hours to see her side of things. I knew you would be playing as Abby but I expected it to blend more seamlessly. Instead it feels like all of your progress is ripped away for the sake of sympatizhing with someone you've been hunting down and it's not done well. She comes off as self righteous and holier than thou. When you're finally done with her part you get back to the scene you left at and you're forced to fight Ellie as Abby. You shoot tommy in the face, beat Ellie and Dina almost to death, and then let them go. You get a short piece of Ellies life with Dina on a farm, rasing a child together. Ellie has severe PTSD over Joels death. Tommy comes in with info on Abby. He's now disabled and is separated from his wife. When Ellie isn't sure about going, he screams at Ellie for breaking a promise to him. Ellie ends up leaving Dina behind to find Abby, who's been captured by a group. Ellie is nearly captured by those same people and goes to their location to find Abby, releases her, fights with her and ends up letting her go, losing two fingers in the process. When she returns home Dina is gone and all of her things are in one room. She tries to play guitar, but it doesn't work as well. After a flashback of talking to Joel about trying to forgive him for lying, she is seen walking off in the distance. She loses everything for nothing and so does Tommy. The story is a 0/10 and the only thing that gets it a few more points is how gorgeous the game is and the one sentimental flashback of Joel taking Ellie to a dinosaur/space museum. That was the best part in the whole game and that's honestly sad.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
