    Let me put it this way. The game has been released in the last 24h. IT has 11.845 negative reviews as of this writing and most popular games don´t even get half that number of reviews in the first 24h. To put that into perspective to you. The Witcher 3 that was released years ago only has a total of 14000 user reviews on the PS4. People just decided to hate and review bomb TLOU2 forLet me put it this way. The game has been released in the last 24h. IT has 11.845 negative reviews as of this writing and most popular games don´t even get half that number of reviews in the first 24h. To put that into perspective to you. The Witcher 3 that was released years ago only has a total of 14000 user reviews on the PS4. People just decided to hate and review bomb TLOU2 for whatever reason.
    So here´s an actual honest opinion. I just finished the game. And pretty much it's impossible for anyone to have finished it in just 24h. A long side the main story the game has several side content for you to explore. So if you do that not only is it an enjoyable experience but also it will take you longer to finish. What I can tell you right away is that only after the first hours of the game I not only got hooked but It became clear to me how talented Naughty Dog is at world building, storytelling and at gameplay. You need to play this to understand how detailed and deep the game is. But still if you really are on the fence, go watch some actual early gameplay videos that will allow you to understand what the game is all about. You'll see that the game is much better than what 11000 people claim to be only after the first 24h. Open your mind people. You built your own perception of what the sequel should be without even giving it a fair chance. It is because of how you are abusing the Metacritic system that it stops being useful for consumers that actual want a real impression on the product. Metacritic the way I see it you need to start asking for proof that a person actually bough the product in order to submit reviews. Anyway. If you finished the game and didn't like it I respect your opinion. But for me this is a groundbreaking game. One of the first or at least most impactful tragic game story. This is what people dont understand. They ask developers to be more original and when they do it they're criticized for doing it. Let me put it this way .     All of the negative reviews come from those who cant stand the fact that there are women and LGBT representation in the game. If you don't give a damn about that, this game is a must play.

    A pure masterpiece like no other game in history. It’s just worth buying a PlayStation 4 only and only to experience this single game. Experience it as soon as possible cause these kinds of gems come out only once or twice in every decade.

    Não sei o que as pessoas estão pensando, você pode até não concordar com a historia e com os rumos que os personagens tomaram, mas isso não tira em nada de como o jogo por um todo é bem executado, narrativa nota 10, jogabilidade 10, trilha sonora 10, gráfico são os melhores da geração então 10.

    This is the game that the world doesn't deserve. This is more than just a game. You can't tell me and absolutely can't tell me that you hate the game just because Joel dies in the first 3 hours. The most badass, cruel,friendly with some people and caring person ever made, in my opinion.I have tens of thousands of hours of playing singleplayer games and multiplayer games and almost none of them moved me in some type of way.Almost none, because there are few that acomplished that. There are a few games that made me feel emotions, happiness, anger, sadness and after finishing them they left me speechless. One of them, and the best of all is the The Last of Us. Part 2 did the same thing, sometimes it was more intense. But Part 1 is still my favorite game of all time, just because it was the first one, and it started it all. Part 2 is a darker game, a more violent game, and it isn't a bad thing, if you aren't a child, because the world where we live in it's just as dark as the game,but in other ways, because there are no zombies among us, but there are horrible things, but we can not see them because they are well hidden by we know who, and some people don't understand that. If you are upset that Ellie is a LGBTQ+ character, please, just go back some hundreds of years ago and live there. It is 2020 where every person should know that there are different persons on this planet, and everyone can love whatever gendere they want, and be what gender they want. Thi is part of the freedom we want and we have. This isn't a planet for a single type of persons, it is for all of us. And the part with politics that i am hearing, if that is actually true, we deserve that for our behaviour against simple things that we don't want to accept. You can't tell me that there is a better story telling game. But if you do, make sure that you played the entire game, played yourselves, and feel the game yourself, not on youtube watching a random youtuber, that has half of the brain required to think more about a story. This drives me crazy when i see streamers just calling this game "a piece of s**t", and they didn't play singleplayer games only by themselves and feel the games just on streams rading the chat. You should have your own opinion, if you are an open minded person, about this game.Ok they leaked a lot of things about the game, they leaked some untrue things, but this is marketing guys, this is how you do it, because if you don't people will lose interest. This was one of the most hyped games of all time, it had a bigger impact that everything else in the gaming history.     Masterpiece! This is a tour de force video game for Naughty Dog. A perfect aurevoir to the Playstation 4. The writing, design and gameplay are master class. If you have an appreciation for artistic vision and masterful technical execution, look no further. It almost seems impossible to fathom how this game isn't running on a next generation console.

    Wow. Absolutely breathtaking game, one of the finest ever made. If you’re legitimately here because you’ve never heard of The Last of Us. Please excuse the low ratings. It’s a bunch of sad little boys/men who have nothing better to do with their time than review bomb a game they haven’t even played.

Sometimes you find yourself laughing in small scenes just due to the hand gestures characters do or facial expressions.     Naughty Dog has really challenged the industry and most importantly fans of story telling. Sometimes you find yourself laughing in small scenes just due to the hand gestures characters do or facial expressions. It's acting is done so well in the animation department that littlest animation done by a character can tell the whole dialogue.

    Naughty Dog has proven new industry standard tech in the game engine department with TLOU2. The smallest features go a long way in making this game feel like a full package. Pushing the current gen to it's limits with a sense understanding why they pushed the ps4 so far.

    I give this game a 9 because 30fps is hard to make TLOU2 a 10/10. Shooting games require high framerates for a sense of control when aiming. But thanks to aim assist it helps for the most part. And item's feel useless for the majority of the game. The story is gripping, the environment is beautiful but you don't feel that your exploration is paid off for. But maybe this is Naughty Dog's way of telling the story of the environment around you.

    Reviews will be bad from other user's. I understand why. Loss is hard and life is not always pretty and you may live a life of hardship during your full ride on this planet but it's up to you to break the cycle. How far can you go to find peace, closure or a sense of bliss to truly break the cycle?    … Expand

    This games builds off its predecessor in a brilliant way. Combat feels much more fluid and real, enemy AI is more responsive and the gameplay is bigger in every way. Some of the characters make decisions I wouldn’t necessarily agree with but the story is still top notch entertainment. This is a great pick up for any fan of survival horror games.

    I Liked the game, I didn't like it as much as the first game.

    Pros Loved playing as Ellie Combat was improved Graphics look good. (Except for film grain) Cons Not a fan of Abby Some of Abby's part felt force, they tried to make her likeable, It personally didn't work. AI was terrible at times, walking right past you, and they still don't see you. Film Grain. seraphites, I    I Liked the game, I didn't like it as much as the first game.

    Final thoughts: I do like TLOU2, the game was fun to play, but sadly half way through they send you on a quest that didn't need to happen.

    The story would probably disappoint many i am sure, but on a technical viewpoint, this game is fantastic. It is obvious that tons of work has been made on every little detail on the level designs. It has been 7 very long years well spent, and it shows. It was a deep, evolving, emotional and brutal journey. This is probably the most realistic post-apocalyptic setting there is. There is no happiness or optimism in a time set like TLOU universe.

    The ONLY downside is the pacing that can be slow in certain parts, and that is the only reason it misses the 10/10 from me. The are certain times during your exploring when you pretty much DO just that, Exploring and pacing around for long stretches before you even encounter an item even. Some areas seems dead certain places.

In part 2, if you expect to see the same thing you’ll be disappointed. To be honest if part 1 was Modern Family, part 2 is throwing that series into the Walking Dead and killing off years worth of character development. The problem here is not the SJW or whatever people are screaming about. If TLoU part 1 was praised for story, character building, graphics and animation, part 2 will be praised for its graphics and animation only.

    The gameplay feels old. Yes you have an uncharted 4 rope mechanic at times and you can utilize your environment a bit more (under cars) but the actual gameplay, puzzles, etc seem like they were just refreshed for PS4. Was it a stylized choice? I’m not sure, I can see the argument but adding jump and dodge doesn’t seem like it’s breaking out on its own even for this world.

    The graphics and animation are simply superb, I can’t stress enough how good it runs and the prowess of ND developers are in this regard even on PS4 Slim.

    What makes the outrage so big in this game is that Naughty Dog took what made the first game so special and killed it off. Both the story, character development and pacing are not up to the same standard as the first game.

    It’s a shame this is the route they took, there were all sorts of possibilities and I feel this was one of the worst ways to go.

    That said, the multiplayer on PS5 if it happens will be amazing and I hope Naughty Dog rebounds for the eventual DLC.    … Expand

    Very thing about this game gets your heart racing its I've never played a game that makes me feel as emotional as this. It's goring and very gruesome and I love very minute of it. The detail is astounding this is a huge step forward in video games and I can't wait to see what they can create on the PS5.

    This game is a masterpiece and I recommend that you play this game if you have not already. The story is great, the gameplay is great and everything about this game was great. I ran into only one glitch but that was the only one. Make sure you go into this game with an open mind.

    The Last of Us: Part II takes the PS4 to its limit, showing impressive graphics along with a plot, soundtrack and sound effects, plus minimalist animations that make the game differentiate itself from others and reach the maximum power of this generation.
    No doubt Naughty Dog nailed it with her
    most greedy project that has a strong chance of being the big winner of the Game of The Year 2020!

    Incredible game by an incredible team. Naughty Dog once again delivers a captivating tale that is both brutal yet emotional. While the story is understandably controversial, there is no denying that the gameplay and graphics are gripping and brutal, making a satisfying playthrough regardless of what you think of the story.

    A mi me ha encantado, da un poco de pena como la comunidad xboxers y lamecalvas han decidido votar en masa. Este juego es lo mas alto que llega ps4. Recomendable aunque hay solo una cosa que me jodió (spoiler) y es perder a alguien a quien cojes mucho cariño desde el primer juego

    Idk why people ppl don't like this game so much. First of all, I'm a white straight male who hates this new propaganda trend in games, but in TLOU2 I don't see this etchings that much. Ofc, in the beginning couple of moments were meh, and Abby being on steroids is kinda weird but that's it. Ellie was lesbian in the dlc for the first part already. I played for 8 hrs now, got to the end ofIdk why people ppl don't like this game so much. It might be not the greatest plan of action from naughty dog but for me personally this only enhances the story of the second part.     I like the idea of how the ending of Uncharted (straight) was also the best The Last Of Us (homosexual) was the same. Compliment to all the company of Naughty Dog and to the director Neil Druckmann who managed to represent also the other part off the love.
    Which is completely natural but which has been the historical victim of renegades and secular punishments.
    Open the minds that we are in 2020 after Christ.
    Live and let live and if you don't like the topic, don't play with it, nobody will force you.

I have read some reviews that give the game a score of zero, based purely on the fact that Ellie is gay, and that Naughty dog is pushing some sort of SJW agenda on us. Personally I feel that these reviews should be disqualified immediately because of pure bigotry. Ellie's sexuality makes complete sense with her 'tom-boy' character and I don’t feel it is a stretch to say that she is gay.

    The main attraction with the game is the story. It initially comes off as a standard revenge tale but quickly establishes itself as a study on what revenge does to a person and the people around you. I have to say, this is probably the most violent game I have ever played. I have played games with more blood and guts, but the realism of the violence in this game is really confronting. I do however feel that this lends itself to the theme of violence and revenge in establishing the tone. My only real complaint with the game’s story is its length. This is a long game and towards the last third of the game, I was keen to just see the rest of the story and not keep doing the sneaking and stabbing that is basically the only way to play the game on higher difficulties. Despite this complaint, if you cut out any significant part of the story, it would lose its emotional gravity.

    The game plays much like the 1st, this is really obvious if you just finished playing the 1st in anticipation of this game. What is great is that it maintains the gut-wrenching tension of the first game. There are probably half a dozen times I remember my heart absolutely racing with dread and the feeling like I was being hunted and only just surviving. The rest of the game is very repetitive by the last third of the game, you could make the argument that this was intentional by Naughty Dog to add to the game’s themes, but from a gameplay perspective, the game lost its novelty by the last quarter of the story.

    I do feel that the game is still very solid. There is criticism of the games ending feeling pointless and that all the violence and killing was, in the end, pointless and destructive for nothing. I think this was exactly the effect the developers were after. For me, the story ends in a manner that drives home the point of the game and leaves its characters in a place where no sequel is required.     It's a great game. I can't believe a lot of people say it's a disgrace and so on. This game was developed for many years, titanic work was done, how many nerves were spent, how much money. Developers put their soul into this project. These games come out once five years and to see that attitude is sad, I'm disappointed in people.     I don't see why this game is getting so much hate! I purchased this game for my wife's two children from a previous relationship,Tyson and Deontay. They thought it was great! I played it with my wife's current boyfriend as well and even he agreed that, it was not only stunning.......but also brave!

The original story made me cry and showed how fierce a father’s love for his daughter can be. The original game and story is the entire reason I bought a PlayStation and the sequel lived up to and exceeded that hype. But i would like to try...This game is awesome BTW: graphics, game-play, sound, etc. But some moments in the story are so bad for the mental health of the fans of the first game so they gonna hate it and user score is gonna be so low.     Finished the game Sunday morning and had to collect all my thoughts, it does tell a cohesive and great story. Phenomenal game all around, people are review bombing this game due to their insecurities in addition to not owning the game and that is okay since it'll win GOTY and be talked about for years with it setting the new standard for story telling.

At times I was pissed for what had happened in game but if you actually pay attention and allow yourself to feel what's going on in game you should be able to understand. It was like a interactive Tarantino film, it doesn't quite make sense at face value but it all comes together in the end to make a amazing experience. People are hating on the game because not everyone is a cis gendered heterosexual person and that's upsetting to them and they can get over it, it's 2020. The game knows when to switch between exploration/action/stealth/story. It kicks you in the balls in the first three hours, then you are getting a grip of things over the next ten or twelve hours, fighting and searching forAnother great game from Naughty Dog.     No matter what these other people are saying this game is great!!! Was I disappointed in some of the story...yes. But not because it was bad, but because it didn't go the direction I wanted. The gameplay, the story, the graphics......all are great. It was worth the wait!! I enjoyed every single minute of The Last of Us 2
