    La verdad la pase muy bien jugandolo, todo lo que tiene que ver con el apartado técnico es un trabajo surrealista, solamente por eso no le pondré una nota negativa, pero la historia si que deja mucho que desear, Neil druckman te quedo grande tu propio proyecto, una lastima!

    Brave Story telling, incredible graphics and really fun game mechanics. Good value for money also with first play through taking around 25 hours and i will definitely be going back in for more on higher difficulty and finding all the collectables

    The Last of Us was arguably the best game of the previous generation. So it's no wonder the reaction to this game has been so strong. The first game was a tough act to follow, but i personally believe that this is a strong follow-up and not the disaster that it has been made out to be.

    The Last of Us part 2 is a gruelling game. It throws you through the emotional ringer time after time,    The Last of Us was arguably the best game of the previous generation. So it's no wonder the reaction to this game has been so strong. The first game was a tough act to follow, but i personally believe that this is a strong follow-up and not the disaster that it has been made out to be.

    The Last of Us part 2 is a gruelling game. It throws you through the emotional ringer time after time, and can at time be a little exhausting. It's perhaps a little overlong. But overall, i think the messages within are justified. The story is well-written. A simple revenge tale told well. I won't reveal it's multiple twists and turns (although i'm pretty sure the entire world knows them by now) but by and large it's a compelling experience. The graphics are what you expect from a Naughty Dog release and are incredible, easily the best of the generation. My only issue with the visuals are more often than not you're forced into dark spaces where it can be difficult to navigate. I had to adjust my settings away from the recommended brightness just to navigate a couple of sequences.

    Overall i think the narrative beats are welcome, and although i loved both games i hope this is the last foray in the world of the last of us, as i don't think the world will ever be ready for a continuation on Ellie's journey. Great game which, i will no doubt play again at some point in the future! Highly recomended!    … Expand

The work that has gone into this game is incredible. There are enough review bombs from disapointed fanboy/girls who either refuse to engage with the story for whatever reason, or are disapointed because the story isn't as 'simple' as it is in part one. I also understand that some of the characters actions may seem incongruous with what we think we understand about them. BUT SO WHAT!WOW what a ride! This game is incredible on every level. I also understand that some of the characters actions may seem incongruous with what we think we understand about them. BUT SO WHAT! The gameplay loop is the most satisfying and polished stealth/action mashup that has ever existed. The graphics and animations are off the scale. It's the closest you can get to being in a real graphic novel, which brings me to the story. It is there to serve the purpose of creating lots of interesting gameplay arenas. Just like the book that inspired the creation of The Last Of Us, City of Theives, each section or chapter is a device to create tension or excitement or wonder or horror or sadness. It's unlike anything else out there and should be celebrated as such. If you have a PS4 why are you even reading user reviews and not playing this right now?… Expand

    Unbelievable what this game does with me. The best game I‘ve ever played and best kind of story I’ve enjoyed more since last series or movies. Awesome one! Thanks Naughty Dog for this experience!

Game is trying to make you feel compassion for whole Abby storyline. Its a great idea to show two sides of coin. Idea is great, but the way they did it really confuses me. I forced myself to play Abby part for this 10 hour. I let her be eaten by clickers around 80 times. If there was a way to kill her, i did it. I wish the scenario worked for me, but it didnt. I guess it is an evidence of the fact that game is poorly written. When game made me play Abby against Ellie, I simply didnt want to punch Ellie. How can i worry more about a boring grey character like abby more than Joel and Ellie who were main chracters in first game. TLOU2 had a great potential, but they screwed up. I dont knwo who to blame for this. I didnt raise the topic of absolute uninteresting new characters (Mel, Nora, Abby, Owen and other part og their wolf gang). Abundance of pregnancy ( zebra is pregnant - abby's father is good because he saved it, Ellie killed dozens of people, but when she kills Mel who is PREGNANT she gets shocked. Dina is pregnant and that affects Abby's choice. Third point, I dont have anything against LGBTQ and women overall but why mostly all women characters are shown form a good perspective (Abby is a good person at last, Leader of scars is good at last, leader of Jackson Marie is right about revenge etc) while male are shown from a bad side ( Joel is a selfish moron, Tommy cant leave the idea of revenge, leader of Wolves is a coldblood child killer). Fourth point is straight up lying in trailers ( shwoing that joel is alive and that they will have adventues in seattle). I put 0/10, because i think this game is overrated. As a fan of first part i fell like Nill just spitted in my face.… Expand

    Half of the game was kinda cool. But then it went from 100 to 0. I didnt even finish the game as I was digusted by the story intentions and boring repetitive gameplay.(Ive watched it tho until the end) Loved the first one and I AM NOT BUYING THE THIRD ONE IF THEY MADE ANY

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I hate having to write this review because I was hoping for so much in this game after loving the first one and having played it for more than 5 times already.
    I loved everything about the first one, the relationship between Joel and Ellie, the secondary characters such as Bill, Henry, Sam, Tommy, etc. They all felt real and added something to the story and helped to further expand and explain the world and the conditions in how they lived. Every character felt like it had a purpose in being there. The story was perfect in portraying how Joel had been affected by losing Sara and then how he started seeing Ellie as her chance as having a daughter again. The first game made me feel for the characters as well as leaving impressions on me, I actually got very sad at times and even cried a little at some.
    As for the 2nd part none of that happened. I don’t mind that they killed Joel, what bothers me is the way they did it. It felt rushed and they spent a lot of the time trying to show him as a bad person, he was not a saint but also not as bad as they made him out to be. The side characters in this game really did nothing for me, none of them were memorable for me. My favorite side character would have to be either Lev or Jesse because they were the most develope of them, Lev actually had some background developed for him (the things he keeps telling Abby about his life), Jesse was a funny and not so serious guy. As for Abby’s friends I didn’t really care much about them except for Owen, he came out as one of the better guys by being human, I can’t recall any time he did anything macabre as Abby did, in fact he was the one that stopped Abby from further torturing Joel, he also started sympathizing with the seraphites late in the game. The other ones I don’t care about, Mel and Manny are the worst.

    I had to replay the first game in order to better notice the differences between Ellie and Joel in the first and second game. In the first game Ellie was a funny, easygoing and sweet person but in the second one they made her a hate-able character, Joel (and Tommy) were smart in the first game and cautious whereas in the second they are really the opposite.
    I didn’t like playing as Abby because I could feel from the get go how the game wants you to force her to like her by manipulating you, an example of this is the well known dog killing aspect, as Ellie you kill dogs and as Abby you pet and play fetch with dogs. Naughty Dog wants us to like Abby so much but I simply couldn’t like her, she was a prick for the entirety of the game except at the end with the seraphite kids, she never showed remorse for killing Joel or Jesse, and I could even see that she thought that she was right in her doing so. She’s such a despisable character. The game gives us less than 20 minutes of Joel, which was one of the reasons why the first game was extremely liked. They also deceived us in the trailers by making it look like we were going to play as Joel (horse ride doesn’t count), the marketing for the game was completely different in comparison to what we got (it almost seems like not even Naughty Dog was confident in what they were making so they thought of fooling us). They also said that Ellie was going to be the only playable character but then we get “introduced to Abby in the first hour of gameplay.

    In terms of graphics and gameplay the game is amazing but the story is not. I think it could have been much better even with the same plot, just executed in a different way.

    The ending was unsatisfying but not just because Ellie didn’t kill Abby, they never managed to get the point of “revenge leads to nothing” across, or whatever they wanted to say, it just leaves us with a sour experience. It’s clear how they wanted to destroy Ellie, they left her with absolutely nothing, meanwhile Abby gets to live a happy life with Lev (again she showed no remorse at all).

    It saddens me that the game wasn’t good because I was really looking forward to it after the first one being one of my favorite games of all time. I wanted to like it so much but I just couldn’t.

    I know I’ll get targeted as a bigot but say whatever you want, I don’t mind the LGBTQ+ in the game, I think it’s good to include it to some extent. Remember, we’ve known about Ellie since the Left Behind DLC and that was also universally appraised as the first game.    … Expand

    One of the best games of this year, the story can be bad at some points but always keep you playing for more, gameplay is amazing graphics too. I really enjoy going through the story, perfect soundtrack as well, can’t wait for part 3

Instead we got Joel's death in the first 20 minutes, playing as Ellie for only have the game, and playing as Abby (Joel's Killer) for the second half. The creators of this game could have given us the first game with Joel and Ellie but had Abby chase us due to her fathers death or maybe have Ellie rescue Joel from Abby's base at the aquarium. There were so many other routes this game could have and should have gone. 7 years of waiting to watch Joel die to a girl he happened to conveniently run into and save in the wild, even though Joel had a ton of trust issues in the first game and still did. Ellie learned nothing from finding Abby and fighting her. She ditches Dina and the baby to go fight Abby, to not end up killing her, lose two of her fingers, and everyone that cared about her. The pacing was a mess, the fights were mashing the square button or triangle button and the clickers felt easier to fight! No more shiv making for Ellie! She just has a knife that never breaks so now you can beat clickers easier than the walking infected lol. Also, thank you for tricking us in the trailers showing older Joel as if he was actually a big part of the game, but instead it was cut scenes of the past Joel. What a mess. Please, I beg you not to make a third game as that will continue to destroy the brilliance of what the first game was as this game has.… Expand

    No tiene nada similar a lo que se nos presnto en los trailers, y las prereseñas anunciadas para el lanzamiento, jugaron con toda la historia que habia detars y el legado de mucho tiempo de insertidumbre ante la infeccion, solo lo hicieron de lado y pusieron problemas personales en medio de una pandemia y el sentido de supervivencia del ser humano, es una historia muy deficiente.

Al final de la historia se da a entender el porqué Ellie dejó vivir a Abby, siendo ella una personaje que sus deseos de venganza la hicieron perder todo, o al menos eso es lo que da a entender. No digo que sea mal juego, solo que tuvo unos puntos que lo hicieron tener un promedio regular (de mi parte), y personalmente el pensar en la historia me decir que no hagan el juego canónico, sino otra historia y que un juego mejor desarrollado de acuerdo a la opinión de los jugadores se pueda concretar una historia y juego digna de esta franquicia...    … Expand

    En graficos y en mecanicas el juego es impresionante 10/10 le saca el jugo a la ps4 y da gusto ver los paisajes del juego, esta muy bien trabajado y se nota el cariño que le dieron gráficamente Pero... la historia se la pasaron por donde no llega la luz

    el primer juego me encantó, lo rejugue 4 veces, 2 en ps3 y 2 en ps4 y para mi es una obra maestra

    Dejo claro que me da lo mismo el hecho de que hayan puesto inclusión en el juego, la historia como tal esta mal hecha

    De primera el engaño de los trailers, nos dan a entender de que la historia va a tratar ellie va a vengar la muerte de dina y joel se le integra en mitad de su camino con una escena que NO APARECE EN EL JUEGO, entiendo el hecho de que en los trailers de las películas con escenas fuera de contexto crean otra trama con cambios mínimos y que se modifican en el producto final, pero los cambios de los modelados son detalles enormes, por esas escenas nos vendieron el juego porque todos pensábamos que el juego se iba a tratar de ellie y joel

    Pero el juego se me vino abajo cuando resulta que a la hora de juego matan a joel de una manera estúpidamente mala, todos sabían que joel era un hombre desconfiado que ni en su sombra confiaba y que era bastante precavido y sabíamos cómo era su instinto de supervivencia, que no tiene limites si se trata de proteger a alguien que quiere

    Y que llegue abby, tomy les diga su nombre y dejándose ir a una cabaña con desconocidos de lo más confiado para finalmente por conveniencia del guión se encontraron Abby y su grupo para que terminen matando a joel

    Era predecible que joel iba a morir, pero por el propio tráiler se da a entender de que iba a hacer por un punto avanzado del juego,

    Ahora voy con las otras escenas donde naughty dog nos engañó, en el tráiler se nos mostraban escenas con joel y ellie después de 4 años del 1er juego, pero resulta que las escenas que nos mostraban en el tráiler con joel eran flashbacks del pasado Lo otro es la trama del 2do juego que sella sacan del culo, el segundo juego se basa en la venganza de abbey por que joel mato a su padre, que en el primer juego resulta que el doctor, era AFROAMERICANO Y DE CONTEXTURA DELGADA

    Pero en el 2do juego resulta ser un doctor blanco un poco más gordito

    Habían muchas tramas mejores que la del juego final y que cualquiera sin ser alguien especializado en cuanto a guion podría haber hecho algo mejor

    En cuanto a musica 10/10 y no hay ningún tema que no me guste, toda la banda Sonora es igual o mejor a la primera, mis respetos a Gustavo

    Y el final también es igual de malo

    Entiendo el hecho de que quieran dar el mensaje de que la venganza genera más venganza y que mata el Alma y la envenena, que quieren demostrar de que los buenos nos son del todo buenos y los malos no del todo malos pero eso se espera de un mundo postacpocaliptico

    Y encuentro forzada la muerte de joel y el hecho que te quieran hacer jugar con abbey para decirte "te ponemos a jugar con la asesina de joel pero ya verás que no es tan mala y la perdonara porque estaba justificado

    Pues no, toda la parte en la que jugamos con abbey te hace sentir rabia por jugar con la asesina de joel, y en la parte que están en el estadio te tratan de meter a la mente de abbey no es tan mala, que le cae bien a todos, juega con perros y es totalmente lo contrario a ellieporque te quieren hacer ver que ellie es la mala y lo entiendo, pero al aplicarlo no funciona, terminas odiando a las 2 protagonistas Lo otro son los Cortes y los cambios muy bruscos de un momento de clímax y que te devuelva a un punto en el pasado en el futuro te dejan extrañado con "que acaba de pasar" esto sucede cuando abby llega al teatro y después de que abbey le perdonara la vida a ellie y aparecen meses despues en el granero, te deja muy confundido Y el final con ellie te deja mal porque ellie termina perdiendo todo familia, la cabeza por la obsesión con vengarse de abby, y por último sus dedos de sus manos con los que ya nunca más va a poder tocar guitarra como le enseño joel

    El final es malísimo porque el juego lo pone así, y porque es malísimo con la sensación que deja

    Me siento estafado por naughty dog porque jugaron con el hype de toda la gente que los mismos trailer nos daban una espectativas impresionante

    Y me da pena el hecho de que las páginas se dejan comprar por sony para que les den calificaciones de obra maestra pero no mencionen en sus reviews la ha historia y sobre quien es abby

    Si pudiera resumir el juego con una palabra es incoherente

Just hate the game and the poor psychology they used to “force” us to think that our enemy is a good person. It seems that Abby’s story was written by a 5 years old child. These people should have take Game of Thrones final as an example. What were they thinking?… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Yes, I didn't like the story of the game, unfortunately... (In technical terms, the game is beautiful, has great mechanics and gameplay, but it contains several bugs, even in cutscenes. But I'll focus on the story here.)
    Don't get me wrong, I respect those who liked the game.
    The main point that everyone is discussing is the death of Joel, and my main problem with it is the way it was executed. A series of script conveniences, coincidences and even mischaracterization of the characters (Joel and Tommy), broke the game for me. People who liked the game generally argue that the two "softened" and are more sensitive to life in Jackson, so they made the mistakes and actions that culminated in Joel's death. (at least here in Brazil, where I am from, people are saying that a lot)
    The problem is that this is not presented at any time and is nothing more than a deduction that seeks to justify the script. And having to justify a script is also a problem. I believe that the two characters, even more sensitive, would still know what to do and what not to do in a situation like that, and because they have people they care about now, they would not let their guard down.
    Not considering the convenience of the script that makes Abby saved just by whoever she looks for and wants to take revenge on, and other coincidences that take Joel and Tommy to her camp, the death scene is all very strange. The two unarmed, surrounded by armed strangers and in military clothes. Tommy positions himself close to the wall on a piece of furniture with a view of everything that is happening, and Joel walks to the middle of the room with his back turned, completely vulnerable and surrounded. The two make the same mistake a second time: naming their real names. For the second time... Abby then pulls out his Shotgun and Tommy who has a view of the whole room does nothing (error of direction that makes the character only see what the camera sees) and the rest we already know, Joel dies as if he were no character important. Ellie's arrival at the mansion is also quick and very easy. Where was the rest of the infected horde that chased Joel, Tommy and Abby? And the game itself admits this facility by Owen's character who complains that no one was on guard at the other entrance to the mansion, when Ellie arrives. And that was just about Joel's death, imagine the rest of the story...    … Expand

Если после первой части игры, я концовку перепроходил несколько раз и меня каждый раз вызывало это эмоции вновь и вновь, то здесь не так. Она просто есть, будто 5 серия какого сериала закончилась и ждите продолжение на следующий недели. А это финал 25 часов игры в которой только и потеешь и сопереживаешь. Pero lo más importante para un juego es la historia, y su desarrollo, y la historia de este juego es una completa falta de respeto a todos los fans q estubieron esperando por este juego. Independiente de la muerte de Joel la historia es forzada y mal contada. El escritor decidió probar algo nuevo que bien contado y escrito hubiera funcionado. Pero termina siendo un desagrado completamente. Primero arruinaron el personaje de Joel y su personalidad del primer juego, sin decir que toda la química que tubo con ellie fue tirada a la basura. No merecía una muerte noble claramente pero no había que hacerlo tan forzada, q va a pasar en el próximo juego el padre de un npc q matamos al principio va a venir a vengarse de ellie? Es muy estúpido. Segundo, como esque se les vino a la cabeza intentar forzar empatizar con un personaje que claramente nadie quiere jugar, todos odian a abby y nadie quiere ser jugar con ella. Y bueno almenos jugar con ella pero 1 hora o 2 no 10 horas del maldito juego. Y además en el primer enfrentamiento de ellie contra abby. Es una mierda tener que jugar como abby. Almenos perder y dar el mensaje del final ahí mismo pero perdiendo jugando como ellie, no como un personaje recién incluido. Y porque después de todo eso lo alargaron demasiado con una parte en santa barbara innecesaria y la q más rabia da, después de risa la matanza de ellie decide no matar a la asesina de su padre adoptivo, como esque el escritor no de da cuenta de la mierda que había escrito. This game is about people, not about individual characters. A game about one of us, the last of us. I believe that every fan of the first part should play this game, go through and relive the whole story from beginning to end.

But if you're looking for a new experience, a different take on your usual story, then much like the first The Last Of Us, this is the game for you.

    Don't expect to love it like you did the first one, it's a different game. The former is a simple story. Yes it was amazingly written, directed and visualised but it didn't require much thought.

    This one, however, isn't simple. It has a simple premise (get revenge) but there's many more layers to this that you have to understand; you should be putting your thinking glasses on.

    I finished the game and I didn't love it at first: though I thoroughly enjoyed it and had a lot of fun playing it, it took me some time to fully grow to love it as I do now and this seems to be the case with most ppl. After reflecting on it, you can come to like it, if not love it (the story and it's characters).    … Expand

When playing as Abby you pet and play with dogs and save pregnant people. Made to like the Abby character that just tortured and killed the main character of the whole franchise. Horrible.… Expand

Todo el Drama por este juego, el caos, la crítica absurda me dio miedo al momento de iniciar, los primeros minutos son duros, en cuanto a la historia, matar al personaje principal no es cosa fácil (personalmente) hubiera preferido buna muerte más digna pero va de acuerdo a la Historia, las únicas partes que en verdad no me gustaron son cuando controlas a Abby, que conoces su parte de la historia (yo se que es para demostrar los errores al matar a personas) se vuelve tediosa y al final no te termina importando, se vuelve tedioso, la escena de la isla con todo en llamas es de un shooter genérico en 3era persona, y la pelea con Ellie controlando a Abby, obviamente no quiero lastimar a Ellie, pero te obligan, la muerte de Jesse sin sentimiento repentina, pero es un final admirable, que te deja una moraleja, lo disfruté y lo seguiré jugando, Gracias Naughty Dog, un excelente juego… Expand

As someone who didnt read up on or see the leaks, I may have played the game with a more objective outlook than many others. I actually thought that Joels death, though brutal and depressing, made a lot of sense story-wise, and obviously drove the narrative of the game. I thought the graphics were strong, the gameplay was suitable, and the story, though not as good as the first, was still engaging/emotional. This game, like all, has its flaws. I dont consider it "near perfect" like most of the reviewers did, but it is ridiculous that the game has gotten so many 0,1,2,3/10 ratings. Either way, it is a solid game that has been dragged through the mud by a LARGE group of Haters with a BS agenda.… Expand

    A beautiful and infinitely more ambitious sequel. Gameplay is fine tuned and satisfying, whereas the story is expanded and taking a lot more risks - but thankfully they stick the landing beautifully.

    We must pay tribute - the graphics in this game are 10/10. But the storyline overshadows everything. What about your tolerance, I am sad to realize that Ally is a lesbian, but I could put up with that. But you have gone too far with all this (bar kiss scene) Very sad, it would be better if the second part did not exist

In the first game joel waking up because of bad dream in this game the first scene with abby is she is waking up of bad dream then after she killed joel she keeps getting nightmare but at one point she gets a bad dream of lev and yara hanging so she thinks i can save them its not like my father I couldn’t save him after she saves them she is having a peaceful dream opening the door seeing his dad healthy and not dead on the ground and the she wakes up peacefully not scared and in the end Ellie keeps getting STD… Expand

I have no issue whatsoever with the whole female/gay topic and I managed to avoid all the spoilers but still got totally bombed out. I tried to get through it a second time because I believe to really appreciate something you should do it twice, but I couldn't. I got so bored that I quit my second play through during Ellie's second day in Seattle. It lacks everything that makes the first game so memorable and fun. The game's story line is as weak as it is unoriginal, the characters are predictable and underdeveloped, the fact that the studio has revenge as the motive for both playable characters is pathetic at best. In my opinion the only way to save this franchise is a prequel game that covers the lives of Joel and Tommy, one that explains their falling out, and even then I would be shocked if Naughty Dog doesn't screw the pooch.… Expand

    The story is garbage, I would’ve given it a higher rating for the great graphics but the story just **** on everything else. Very disappointed that I have spent a **** ton of time playing this just so I could get an awful ending.

    So i believe the game only had good graphics but the story runs along and kinda memes itself out buy forcibly making weird decision on every important scene of the game like were i forcibly have to kiss the girl when there clearly was another love interest for Ellie and he had to die without anyone even caring nobody talked about him since and he was a caring guy that never had a girlfriend either in his life (assumably) and also the the part were i have to fight abby and i really wanted to kill her **** ass but Ellie was like “i have nothing to lose so i might as well let abby get what she wants and let her live so maybe one day she can Possibly do this to another family in return” also all the love/sex scenes were cringey because both the main kiss scenes were too intense to even watch
    I understand niel druckman being an sjw but walking dead did it perfectly it gave us a choice to decide weather clementine liked a guy or a girl and i think ellie should have ended up with jesse not amy


    Joels death: this was hard to watch i wasnt even crying i was plainly pissed off I hate when sjw type of Directers do this **** they always try to split the audience and have them argue a lot about how good the game is or not how about you plainly make it good for everyone and do what you promised you said Joel and Ellie would continue to maintain their relationship with each other and Joel's death didn’t have to be on the first hour of the game
    They could have let joel at least say his final goodbye and then I probably would have cried but no they just kill him out of nowhere and if theyd let him say goodbye to her at the scene it would have made the game more impactful but no they decided to golf club his head with no warning and ellie turned into the worst character when she let she let abby get away if i was her and had common sense i would have grabbed the gun from the backpack and shot her ass before she got away or her little friend so she would see my pain The graphics were pretty good though but with the terrible common sense it kinda made the graphics look a little bad but then again im rating story and graphics diffrently so good graphics Terrible story +0

    Jesse should have been a love interest for ellie otherwise dont create him just so he can die like that

    Amy was so ugly and boring to be a love interest

    Abby should Not have been taking steroids because of how rare they are in the apocalypse Ellie should have been given choices along the way On playing the game


    joel shouldnt have died like that he should have atleast said something memerable before he died and not “yall sound like yall know us or something”



    Chain of violence is stupid because it will eventually end weather or not you use violence or not


    We should have had choices for us personally and not the developers wanting


    That hispanic guy is an insult to my race because he spat on joel and i loved his character (Joel's)



    ellie should have killed abby as well at the end

    The "game" feels more like a message than a story. Absolutely terrible writing. Major details are overlooked, but lots of minor ones were thrown in. Overall a very bad game. I'm inclined to believe the critics were pressured into giving the game a good review.

Playing as Abby is just cheap and manipulative. You save kids, play with dogs, and kill weird cult people. Ellie kills dogs and pregnant women. Then the fact that naughty dog and Sony tried deceiving the gaming community with many stunning reviews compared to the Fact the entire fandom hates the game. Hot trash. I’d rather play dark souls 2 blindfolded on a Guitar hero guitar than play this disgusting tragedy.… Expand

After waiting 6 years for the sequel, I cannot emphasise how disappointed I was. Killing Joel was a huge disrespect to his character and does not make any logical sense. In the first game, he could sense an ambush from a mile away and in this game, he must have become retarded as he follows a group of strangers and identifies himself. The characters are what made me fall in love with the first game personally and to see Joel die in such an unsatisfying way kills me. Apart from Joel, Ellie does not grow in any meaningful way in the second game either. She is just mindlessly driven for blood and in the end, she kills

    everyone

    except the one person who was soley responsible for Joel's death. (Abby). In addition to that, the game does not offer the experience of progression and the stories between the two characters are so haphazardly arranged, going back and forth that there is no sense of going forward and progressing. I do not mind if the characters are lesbian or transgender but to have a random character appear out of nowhere and kill one of the most beloved characters...

    The positive reviews are people that had no sense of attachment to the original title. This whole game is just a message that revenge is bad. The graphics, the mechanics and audio are all beyond fantastic but it's a story game and Naughty Dog **** up on the story. Save your money do not buy this game.    … Expand

    My issue is the gameplay. I play games because I want to feel a sense of accomplishment by defeating the game. But games like last of us or red dead only focus on the story. The only reason to play these games is to progress through the story. Same gameplay, with boring level designs, repeated for hours. Each level is completed only to unlock the next cinematic.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
