    This is such a stupid story. If you are in a technical masterpiece, it does not happen without the story. The bad story shot with great cameras and great actors is like bad movie. that was a disappointment for me. dont wate your money just wath on youtube not a collectible good gema like last of us 1(real last of us)

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have never in my entire life been so upset at any movie, tv show, book, or game than Last of Us Part 2. Tore down Joel that had such a story behind him. Then in a span of 2 minutes, killed. In the first hour of playing this game. Abby sought revenge, and she got it. You play Ellie, who also seeks revenge killing everyone who was involved. Not only does she fail in that quest, but the devs thought it was sort of a good life lesson that revenge is bad. In the end you have Ellie who finally finds Abby after all that carnage, and let's her go.

    So in total you basically play Abby more than Ellie. I think Naughty Dog wanted us to feel bad for Abby to justify what she did to a beloved character.
    After the game ended you realise Joel is dead, Tommy's marriage ends, Dina breaks up with Ellie, and now she doesn't have access to a guitar which was a big story highlight of the game.

    Feeling extremely sorry for the employees at Naughty Dog that worked on the gameplay of the game, graphics, mechanics, etc. But the game is nothing if you don't enjoy it playing, which is what the story ruined.

    Neil Druckmann ruined the game and should be banned from the gaming industry FOREVER together with Anita Sarkeesian.

    This is a joke. This is what happens when you end up with intersectional politics in video games. The gameplay wasn't great in the first game but at least you could stand behind the story (which was really good). Can't say the same about this game. Save your money and buy something better.

The Last of Us give you a lot different feelings, and can make you angry, sad, etc. But the story and the anti-revenge message would be more poweful if Ellie killed Abby in the ending and abandoned the girl in the boat, and after that returned to home without any friends, and wife, and family.

    This games story is terrible, It just makes one feel disappointed and depressed that this is all they could come up with in 7 years of waiting. I think all of the writers of the first game quit and we were left with Neil Druckmann and his three yes men writing this game.

    After the first game, a true masterpiece, many years have passed. Nowadays feminists sjw and other categories are trying to destroy all the good that various fanchises like star wars, ghostbusters, marvel, disney did in the past. So they reverse all the franchises and put feminist masculine main characters to kill the standard white male patriarch. This is absurd because all the franchises we love from the past have nothing of discriminatory. but feminist and sjw are obsessed and will follow with their agenda in the next years. Trying not consider this political aspect, the game itself is garbage. In fact the story is ridicolous. In the begin you kill joel in a bloody way, next you play the role of the monster who killed him. You are obbliged. Next you play ellie to revenge him, you kill hundreds of people and innocents. At the end you save ebbie and let himher go. This is no sense. So the entire plot is created only to promote the sjw agenda, nothing is logical. The gameplay has nothing more than you can expect, the game is also repetitive, and you play the role of a character you hate, that make choices you don't agree with. The graphics can't save such bull **** On the other end we see Sony new double standard. LGBT SJW FEMINIST GAMEs can have nude and sex por.n scenes. If you don't agree then you are homophobe. But games like resident evil 3 have censorships like jill miniskirt. So sex porn lgbt nude scene are ok.... a miniskirt without any sex scene is CENSORED. So they want to hit the standard female too. She was never needed in the story in the first place. I just wanted to play as Joel or even Ellie and them meeting different characters, factions, groups, govts or anything and surviving different situations and dangers. Opening up this post-apocalyptic world to us more than ever you know, kinda more like the walking dead game but better. Take me on an adventure and not some cliched revenge story eww. Fkn milk the game, maybe kill Joel in the third game due to him being bitten or something and us continuing to play as the ever-maturing Ellie. Something on those lines and I'll still buy the game man. But don't get stupid sub-plots and NPCs and suddenly making it/them relevant to the main story. As a narrative-driven game, your USP has to be an enthralling story which unfortunately was the worst aspect of the game. I'll still congratulate naughty dog for making a bold move with the story and honestly, they should've known it was gonna be a hit or miss and unfortunately it was the latter. Really had something going on for you, but I guess mistress Anita had to be satisfied. Kudos to the person who leaked the story-line, you saved money for a lot of other people who just might take a pass for this one and instead buy cyberpunk. At least CD Projeckt respects it's consumers and their wishes. Had high hopes for TLOU 2, I cri now :(… Expand

I understand some frustrations over a couple creative decisions and certain characters in the game but honestly does not deserve a 3.4 score. The gameplay is the best that Naughty Dog has created and the graphics are beyond anything ever seen on a home console. Do not let a couple story decsions in a 25 hour game destroy uourDoes not deserve the hate it is getting from so called fans.     Гейплейно, игра лучше первой части, намного. Динамика, вариативность очень радует.

    An amazing experience, show you things that you could never expect, cause you really don’t know what’s coming. For those who love games, is almost an obligation to play it, and deep dive on this awesome world that Naughty Dog created. So yes, it’s fair enough to call it a masterpiece, and one of the best games of the video games history!

    I just finished the game and the only thing I can say : what a wonderful game!!!, its perfect , everything I wanted!!! I dont understand why theres so much hate towards this masterpiece, you have to play before judging, In a nutshell I loved it!!!

The game is MEANT to be dark, and depressing, it is meant to make you FEEL raw, visceral emotions such as sadness, anger, fear, and also happiness, but only enough that when u feel scared or angry, its more than just that. You almost feel present in the moment, like you are there, you feel what the characters are feeling.

    I can't find one reason to complain about the game (except maybe how unrealistic it can be, which isn't all that much considering it is a game with mushroom zombies in it) I've seen reviews where people have complained about there not being enough space to be explored, which isn't even true, and even if it were, no one seemed to have an issue with that when the first game was released, both games are linear by nature, they are games that tell a story, not a game about exploring every nook and cranny of a city.

    Anyways, if you enjoyed the first game, play this one and pretend you haven't read any reviews, draw your own conclusions and don't hate the game because so many others do.    … Expand

    Do not listen to these review bombs, it took me over 20 hours to complete so there is no way they had completed the game within the first day.

    The game was fantastic, what an experience. Alot of the leaks were true but its something you have to play for yourself. I was not going to get the game based on the leaks but I am so glad I did.

    Now let's talk about a bit of the story, the story what makes the 70-80% players play the game. WHAT THE ACTUAL **** IS THIS!? Dont get me wrong I have no problem with the choices for who is gay or trans or whatever. Players have problem with the goddamn story. Joel's death is the most dumb ways to die all of time. So when Ellie wants to revenge Joels death, and when she killed houndreds of people she decide to not kill her, because she dont want to stuck in a revenge circle. Uhum

    It's honestly a very fun game. The mechanics are great, fighting and stealth parts are a lot of fun. It's also extremely beautiful! Some parts are scary for me too

The resolution of this game? Bland. And again, heartbreakingly predictable. There are no lessons learned. There is violence, but no meaningful conflict. Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, or otherwise. I am beyond disappointed, and I hope Naughty Dog will learn from their mistake. I felt it had a perfect balance of left leaning themes that were not so obnoxious as to ruin an amazing story. This one has thrown all caution to the wind and has produced a game that no one who aren't pink haired college students could enjoy.

    Usually, I don't bother to write reviews, I know that most original stories coming out these days will be SJW nonsense, but when you see the sequel to such an engaging IP do this, it's sad. And hypocritical. There is a 'romance scene' in this game that is downright disgusting but Sony will allow that but if a Japanese game has a female character showing cleavage, that's censored. Do not get me wrong, the story has it's moments and I love the flashbacks fro Joel and Ellie. But what the f*** was I playing as Abby for HALF OF THE GAME? The Last Of Us is The Last Of Us because of Joel and Ellie. I was playing as Joel's killer for most of the game. Is ND trying to make me feel bad for Abby? Like tf? SHE KILLED JOEL. The story could have been so much different. But I do like the moments in the story.

    As for gameplay, the game is flawless in terms of detail, gameplay, sound, and graphics. As for the story, they could have changed the story to a way better one for sure.    … Expand

    Absolute travesty of a game, when the original had subpar gameplay but a good story to carry it, then this has one of the worst stories I've ever seen in a game + the still subpar gameplay, you have the recipe for disaster you've brought upon yourselves, can't cover it up with fancy graphics now.

    Hope the creators see these reviews and take note. It's like Neil is having a threesome with us and the critics, but all he wants to do is fondle the critics with his progressive values, so we're just left to toss ourselves off. I've seen the Halo franchise get butchered in recent years but not nearly as badly as this.
    Terrible game, do not buy.

But never expect he die for nothing or should I say die because saved wrong person. Abby killed almost everybody from two camps to protect the boy, why? because he saved her. So why u can't give Joel a chance, at least let him die without pain. Then Ellie let her live because of what? Is she got Stockholm syndrome or something? She has no reason to let her live under that world background. This is a game not real world, "the right thing rules" doesn't have to apply in this game. U can't just let the person who murder own family to walk away without a proper reason. Don't u ever impose the way u looking at the world on me.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
