F*deram a história do game por causa de lacração.

Um dos personagens principais (Joel) morre.

E ellie se vinga? Não... Fica com pena e acha que toda vida importa, menos a fetal.

    Horrível.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Finished the game and honestly felt disappointed. The best part of the game was the flashbacks, and the open area section in the beginning with Ellie. I enjoyed the dialogue and it reminded me of the first game. I hated Abby and did not care for her story in the slightest. Didn’t feel sympathetic towards her or her bland friends(looking at you Owen) and it was a 10 hour section I just wanted to be over to get back to Ellie. I think it would’ve been a better story if Ellie met Lev somehow and discovered he was being hunted because he got bit by an infected but turns out to be immune. Abby discovers it when Lev and Yara saved her and goes to get Lev to somehow get the cure again which Ellie didn’t provide. Ellie bonds with Lev and Yara and replace her in all of Abby’s sections. Abby will continue to hunt down Lev with friends forcing Ellie to kill everyone just like Joel did and Ellie will find meaning in why Joel did what he did and forgive him. And you get to kill Abby! I think the games story could’ve been done better as it didn’t hit the emotional beats at all and felt awkward and clunky at times. Music was good but felt lacking somehow. I honestly don’t think game has good iconic moments like Tess dying or Bill discovering his partner died or Henry killing Sam. It had moments like Abby discovering her friends died or Ellie seeing Jesse died or Joel being beaten to death which made no sense for his character for trusting them. All the moments are just shock value with no emotional weight behind it. There wasn’t a point to the plot or a good resolution towards it. WE GET IT REVENGE IS BAD. You’ll lose everything if you get revenge. Then why did Ellie lose everything and Abby gets to have something for killing Joel. Ellie lost her fingers, Dina, JJ, the baby, Jesse, relationship with Tommy is ruined, and can’t have a resolution with Joel and doesn’t get to kill Abby while ABBY A CHARACTER WE HATE, gets to live, gets to save Lev and gets to go back to the fireflies. How could you do this to Ellie a beloved character. This was suppose to be her story. I felt so disappointed in the ending and felt like the story should’ve gone in so many other possible directions. Give the players choices or at least don’t alienate them or make them play as a character they will automatically hate. Story writers need to stop subverting expectation for the sake of subverting expectation. You only do that if it fits the narrative and flows well otherwise you’ll get a crappy story like The Last Jedi, Game of Thrones season 8, and The Last of Us Pt II. Expand

Before you buy this game please know:
You will play as Joel for less than 2 minutes. You will only play as Ellie for one half of the game. I took the time to play The Last Of Us twice again before The Last Of Us 2 launched. Ultimately that was a mistake as it made me realise again what great of a game the first one was.

Imagine walking into an art gallery and looking at a Picasso painting. Now imagine, I’d take the painting off the wall, **** on it after being constipated for weeks, let it dry and then hang it up back onto the wall. The critics like IGN would probably argue because of its shock factor its great art. Really though it’s dried **** on a great painting. In a nutshell the dry **** is The Last Of Us 2.

Playing this game is like living out Neil Druckmann’s twisted fantasies from over the top gore, to having to kill dogs and sheer manipulation of the player. This guy is literally a one hit wonder for writing the last of us story years ago. He has little contribution in the Uncharted series and his main accomplishment was the first game, where he was heavily guided by Bruce Straley. You have to give the arts team credit for this game. It is probably one of the best looking games on console. A lot of people are praising the gameplay mechanics......... Naughty dog never had great gameplay mechanics. There is literally 1000 other games out there that do shooting, melee combat or stealth way better than this game. Overall this is a terrible game and hopefully it will be reflected in the number of preorders for future Naughty Dog games. I will be more cautious with their next game.

I do not understand, not the satisfaction of most people, personally my opinion after passing the game) I just let out a stingy tear at the end and got into the whole moral thing. You go from the very beginning with one awareness of revenge. But in the end you understand whether you need it now . Killing so many people, losing all their relatives . The result for me is a decent game!!!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. SPOILERS: Now I admit that I haven't played the game personally. But I have watched enough walkthroughs that allow me to understand the direction of the story. This fact DOES NOT make my opinion less credible than someone else's because I know what I was looking for in a part 2 (which was the story) and Naughty Dog did not deliver on it. With that being said, here are my issues with this game:

PROBLEMS: * Ellie and Joel do not have enough gameplay. Their relationship is what makes the first game great. But that is not built upon and ends prematurely in part 2. Flashback scenes feel like hurtful jabs after what transpires.
*Supporting characters are dull and uninteresting. (Jesse, Dina, Owen, Manny, etc.)
*Abby as a character fails to make me feel sorry for her. She feels no remorse when she takes lives and is motivated purely by her lust for blood. Ellie feels regret for her actions which is the human element that is missing in Abby.
*Very disturbing sex scene. Extremely difficult on the eyes and has no purpose for storytelling.
*Joel's death is dehumanizing to the character and makes no sense. Joel is very experienced with sketchy situations but somehow is oblivious to the danger of entering the company of complete strangers. Joel is tortured and killed in front of Ellie without a chance to mend their relationship after Ellie learns of what happened at the end of the first game.
*After Abby kills Joel, bashes the head of a pregnant lady, kills the father of the baby, shoots Tommy in the eye we still play as her fighting Ellie. One of the only characters left that I am emotionally invested in. And we are still supposed to like this character?
*After Ellie's revenge quest, killing all who was involved in Joel's death, the actual murderer is spared for seemingly no good reason. This robs the audience of a final conclusion.
*Ellie is treated like the villian and loses everything. Loses her fingers so she can't play guitar like Joel taught her, loses her family in Dina and the baby, loses her bestfriend Jesse all for nothing in return.
    * All of these factors not only impact part 2 but the first game as well. I can no longer play the first game and look at these characters without thinking about where they will be in part 2. I can no longer save Ellie at the end without thinking, killing this one surgeon will ruin the franchise completely.

CONCLUSION: All of these factors are the ingredients for a horrible storyline that is betraying to the fans and the characters. I'm sure that I haven't even stated all of my issues within the game still. I have also decided to leave out Naughty Dog scandals and real life mishaps even though they have destroyed any respect I have for the company. What angers fans like me the most is that the outrage was predicted and intentionally instigated by Naughty Dog and Niel Druckman. With that being said I will not buy the game and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy either.

Loved it, great story about where hate can lead you, it follows the first game theme by being another story about no being able to get over a loved one death but while the first game was about avoiding to feel that loss ever again no matter the cost, the second one is about the hatred, revenge what it will cost to pursuit it.

But as I played more and more, those feelings of doubt quickly disappeared and I was finding myself fully immersed in the world, the characters and the story itself. The story is in general a bit worse than The Last of Us 1 but it's not as bad as people make it out to be. It's very enjoyable, the characters have depth and the environmental storytelling is as good, if not better than in the first game. I had high hopes when booting up the game for the first time and while they didn't fully get 100% achieved, I am in no way disappointed.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It’s really sad that I have to give a 10 when I wanted to give an 8.9 to this game bc a bunch of people want a Hollywood-like game where nothing matters, there’s only blood and vengeance and a **** ton of violence. Dude if you want that, go play uncharted or saints row or GTA. This game made me hate a character then love it by the end. Spherical characters like Abby are rare in any type of entertainment form (movies, books, games, etc). The only thing that would make me rate this game an 8.9 and not a 10 is how they made Abby look like a villain, following a mutation where she looks like a good guy, then it ends by the game spitting on your childish face that there are no villains or heroes, there are just people trying to survive. Just like Joel. However, when they try to do the same thing with Ellie, she begins the game like a Hero (opposite To Abby) then she turns into a genocidal maniac (for her own reasons, I guess), making her look like a person living in an apocalypse. But the game finishes with her looking like a villain. It’s incoherent as to what happened to Abby. Don’t like it. It’s an irrational conclusion. The very very final scene should’ve been better. All in all, Joel’s death meant that he was trying to be better so he could have his redemption towards Ellie (remember their talk on the day previous to his death — also, that justifies why he was dumb to fall into a trap TLOU 1 Joel wouldn’t. He was trying to be kinder to have his redemption with Ellie). Conclusion: people crying over “Joel deserved better” or “I wanted to kill Abby” didn’t get the point of the game that there are no villains nor heroes and Joel was an **** to other people, so what he really deserved was an according death. I’m happy and satisfied with it. If you didn’t get it, you’re just being too emotional or straight up childish. Grow the **** up you **** Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Seeing as there are so many negative comments on here bashing this game on so many different levels, I want to give a positive rating and positive feedback as I have played and beaten the game and am now on my second play through. I am an avid gamer, I have not done a critique of any game but I feel this is necessary. The last of us part 2 is a great game, no matter what other people say. You cannot, and I cannot emphasize this enough, CANNOT CRITIQUE A GAME YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED. All of the comments of people who saw spoilers of the games story and immediately said it was the worst thing ever and that Naughtydog has fallen short of what they were thought to be able to achieve should be ashamed of themselves. Everyone was so ready to finally get a conclusive story to The last of us after 7 long years but when it comes down to getting what you think you want, it just doesn’t live up to expectations. This is not my opinion however. I quite enjoyed part 2. I avoided spoiling the game for myself and only ever really saw the cinematic trailer, the one with Lotte Kestner’s cover of True Faith, and that sold me. I had preordered the game prior to this because I fell in love with The last of us since the originals release. I played through the game over the corse of 3 days with my girlfriend watching as I went through the chapters and uncovered the story of what was going to happen to Ellie and Dina and Abby. We were both enticed by the story and it was hard to look away, even when Joel was killed. It was heartbreaking. A beloved character murdered by a woman with her own plot for revenge on what happened to her father. (This also goes along with the people who didn’t play the game not knowing why he was murdered and just wanted to make ND out for being a horrible company that kills off main characters for no reason what so ever. Not the case and you would know that if you’d played the game and got at least 2/3 the way through the game.) Following Ellie through Seattle was a trip. The visuals were stunning, the sound design amazing, the score added to the feel of being in a place that had been taken over by nature for the past 25 years, it was all fantastic. I truly had no downside to this game (aside from being emotionally distraught/angry that Joel was killed in the first hour and a half into the game) until about halfway through the game when the story flips to Abby’s point of view. Now I get why this was, to get more of the story and pan out the run time of the game. I’m not saying it was a bad thing, it just put a nasty knot in my stomach to play as her for 4-6 hours and at the end of it beat up Ellie. It didn’t sit right. But then it donned on me. With the story that was given to me, it made me apathetic towards Abby and made me feel as if she wasn’t such a bad person. Though in a story like this I guess there are no good guys. I will not spoil the ending act though I feel most of the people on here have already seen it on YouTube or elsewhere on the internet. I will leave you with this statement: Do not be a sheep, conjure your own opinions after full completion of a topic. If you do not know, do not open your mouth, you risk sounding like a belligerent moron at the sake of my brain cells killing them selves from reading your horrendous and illegitimate reviews. (And for those who said they falsely advertised the game with Joel looking different in the trailers: Yeah, companies do that. Hell, they did the same thing with the first game but the opposite, they said you wouldn’t be able to play as Ellie but in the 3rd act you start as Ellie. Grow up people. Don’t bandwagon something before you’ve even given it a shot. You’re the reason companies struggle to make content, because you “don’t like how it turned out”. Well boohoo, they didn’t spend 5 years making this game for you to say it was **** If you spent 5 years on anything and the first thing people said about it was that it was bad, you wouldn’t wanna do it again would you? I like Naughtydog and the content they provide if you don’t, don’t say anything and find a different game to play. Good day. ) Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Truth is, Naughty Dog really couldn’t recapture what made the first game so flawless. They failed. Neil Druckmann cemented that. Bruce Straley really knew how to write and direct a story of emotion and compassion. You understand why Joel does what he does even if it seems morally wrong. You sympathize and understand the decisions he makes. Last of Us Part II completely abandons his character and what made him special in the first game. This title failed to capture who he was and instead leads him to do the opposite of his character, which is a punch in the gut itself. Graphics are stunning and the soundtrack is still superb. Those are the only good things this title has to offer. The mechanics are just fidgety and often annoying at times. Not to mention there’s NO MULTIPLAYER! So you have to rely on a well executed narrative like the previous entry, but instead fails miserably. Neil really should’ve looked at RDR2 and learned how character development works in a story and to respect a character in they’re end. RDR2 is a perfect example of respecting the predecessor while maintaining the original feel. Rockstar was able to overcome the hype and expectations with a graphically beautiful game, an outstanding soundtrack, great character development, and a perfect endgame. Joel deserved better. We as fans deserved better. Even the character development is terrible in this game. A lot of the deaths are mainly for shock value and it’s inconsistent in the story since flashbacks happen after the fact. So you as the player really feel no emotion or empathy towards any of these new characters on either side. Even when It’s love. It’s rushed and moves too fast. So it’s very cringe worthy to say the least. I can honestly say the best part about this game was the flashbacks with Ellie and Joel. Other than that, the story is hot trash. This franchise would’ve been better off ending with the first game. Better yet, just seeing Joel and Ellie grow in Jackson and watching life change would’ve been great in my opinion. Instead this game feels like a terrible written fan fiction that doesn’t respect anything from the first game. Not even the ending is satisfying. Revenge is bad. That’s the moral of the story. Which still contradicts itself because Abby gets revenge while Ellie doesn’t. Arthur Morgan said it best “Revenge Is A Fools Game” Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'll preface this review by saying the first instalment of The last of Us is one of my favourite games and that Naughty Dog are my favourite developer, so I was eagerly awaiting the release of part 2 since its announcement. I didn't have much in the way of expectations or preconceptions of what the game would be, other than that it would continue Ellie's story (since this is what we were told to expect) and we would experience her character growing and developing. Unfortunately what I experienced was a poorly constructed story filled with plot holes and little to no major character development.

While I didn't care much for how they killed Joel off, I accepted it and thought okay, his death is a device to fuel the narrative and I was looking forward to continuing the game. Over the next few hours playing through Ellie's portion of the game I enjoyed the gameplay, but still found myself struggling to feel invested in the plot and the lack of character development was disappointing. I feel like I liked Dina and Jesse just because Ellie liked them, rather than because the plot showed me any reasons to feel fond of them.

When it came to playing as Abby I found myself asking out loud why I was having to play as her continually until I realised I was going to be playing her story for quite some portion of the game. Initially I objectively did not like her, and by the end of her part of the game, I still did not like her. I found myself rushing through this part of the game (which arguably made combat parts of the gameplay more fun) because I was simply not enjoying it. I found it so hard to feel invested in her character and therefore was not incentivised to continue. When I died as Ellie I always felt some kind of reaction but dying as Abbie could not have bothered me less. Sometimes dying was more satisfying than continuing with the story. I realise that the story was designed to draw parallels between the 2 protagonists and try to make us feel empathy towards Abby but it just did not work for me. Although I did enjoy some parts of the plot surrounding Lev's story, even though the dynamic between him and Abby felt like a watered down copy of Joel and Ellie.

After a couple of days to reflect on it, I think the ending is okay it its own right. Though unsatisfying, and convoluted with a lot of symbology that would have been better spread more evenly throughout the game, I understand it. It is a bleak conclusion and not one I feel strongly for either way but it was needed. I remember playing through the chapter where we first see Ellie and Dina at their farm and thinking this looks absolutely stunning, but the story up until now has been virtually redundant. If none of the events from the point where Joel is killed transpired Dina would still be pregnant, she would still have her baby, her and Ellie would likely have ended up together since their relationship was going that way anyway - the only differences would be that they would still be living at Jackson and Joel and Jesse would still be alive. Neither Ellie nor Dina's character seemed developed through the events in Seattle. This feeling of redundancy left me massively unsatisfied.

To conclude, the gameplay and level building are exemplary but it is a poorly paced and written game that failed to make me truly care for any of the new characters, and sucked the charm out of those the original made me love. This game said too much and not enough all at the same time. I can say with genuine sadness that I did not enjoy The Last of Us Part 2, which I wanted to love so badly. It's the only game of this console generation that I've personally played that I can say I've honestly found to be an unpleasant experience. So much so that I felt the need to create a Metacritic account just to write this review.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us 2 had a big challenge ahead of them to follow in the footsteps of the first game, a game revered for its storytelling, graphics, gameplay, and characters. And it did not disappoint, unless you came into this game with a closed mind, expecting the story you wished they wrote. But they did not write the game you think you wanted, there are no "only happens in a movie" moments. There is no breaking of realism. You get pure, deep and realistic people for characters, in a raw, intense story. The first game is told from the perspective of Joel and Ellie, the good guys. But the second game plays on that, Joel, you seemingly has only ever had the interests of Ellie's and those closest to him in mind. The story unravels that, showing the lies, deceit, manipulation, and the senseless murder of the man who may have been able to end the infection once and for all. We get emotional cutscenes and flashbacks, to the things that mattered most to Ellie, why she idolized Joel, and grew up wanting to be like him, to the scenes of her discovering his lies about what happened in the hospital. Her resentment for him, for the person she had once held so dear. Ellie's journey in this game is how she found a way to exorcise the demon that way Joel, as good as his intentions may have seemed while playing him in the first game. They were selfish and manipulative to others.

Ellie's story sees her struggle with that to the very last moments of the game.

Abby's arch, the one you're supposed to hate for brutally killing off the beloved main character of the first game. Is a roller coaster. A good one. Her story has deep roots, amazing character development for her, and if you catch the details of the game, it really makes you empathize with her, she's not a bad person at all, She's just someone that wants to bring her father's killer to justice. She does so, without leaving a trail of other dead bodies behind, a stark difference to Ellie's approach, which as quoted by Ellie herself, were acts that she thought Joel would have done, that is why she needs to.

No, Abby is not the villain, but the light in the story. Her consistent humanity keeps surfacing over and over again. When she hears a story that one of her best friends his missing after supposedly killing another WLF member. She doesn't just take that and let it go, but she cares deeply to seek out the truth and make sure her friend is okay. She risks losing the safety of being a WLF for a few different characters, even risks her life, facing her greatest fear several times, and encountering the best boss baddie of the game. Through her arch, she sees the innocence of some children Seraphites, willing to help them after they save her life as she is nearing a gruesome death. Never faltering in her morals, a Seraphite and her eventually ends the story in a reminiscent way to how Ellie and Joel ended the story of the first game. Poetic.

What makes the writing so great though, is that many of the senseless deaths just happen, as they would. Very true to what we would expect the realism to be. There are hardly heroic deaths in dying moments, though a couple, and none that are just unbelievable, all feel real. The game is written to stay true to entertain you through storytelling rather than the unattainable mind-blowing action moves you'd expect in the Die Hard series.

All in all, this game built on the first game, and pushed a challenging story through, successfully. As long as you're willing and able to see the details in it and not just assume the revenge plot of childish behavior, but actually recognize the perspective. If you miss that, you will probably get caught up on hating Abby for killing Joel. However, if you really do yourself that favor, you're bound to end up seeing Abby as one of the most humane, likeable characters of the series. Both her and Ellie's stories, woven together as they are, have substance. Even more than the first game, and that is saying a lot.

There is a reason professional critics have this game rated so highly. They genuinely played through the game, with an open mind, and were rewarded with an experience from what could possibly be considered the greatest game to date.

Loved the first game, intact it was my favourite game of the PS3 era. Been looking forward to this for years and when it got delayed a months ago was bitterly disappointed., but nowhere near as disappointed as I am now after playing this horror show!

The way that Joel has been sacrificed in this game is criminal, you don't even get to play as him. Barely 2 hours into the game he get killed off it the most ridiculous way possible by a character you then have to take the role of. Abby isn't even a likable character.

This killing is equivalent of having Obi Wan killed off by Jar Jar Binks in star wars, or Marty Mcfly Beaten to death by biff in Back to the future, it just doesn't make sense!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game can be played as either a fan of the franchise or someone who has not played the first game. I am the former. A fan of the first game and hence I will review this as a fan of the first game and what made it special and what it built.

    Graphics: 9/10.

Graphically the game looks very good. The details to the environments, the light, the textures, the models, the fluid animations. The physics is incredible. All is top notch.

    Gameplay: 7/10.

The gameplay at first is very good but after roughly half way through the game, it becomes quite repetitive. You have to always repeatedly press square fast in close encounters. To use melee you press square. Every quick time event is square. And these occur very often in the game. The puzzles also start to become very repetitive and monotonous. And a lot of your time is spent in cut scenes which is not gameplay.

    Story: 0/10.

The biggest problem with the game is the story. This game is not isolated on its own, in the sense that it already established the personalities of the characters and also a fan base with the first game.

Joel gets killed very early in the game by acting out of character in trusting complete strangers. Now, five years after the first game, you cannot tell anyone that within five years a person makes a complete 180 turn in terms of his personality. It just does not happen for adults. For teenagers, yes. But certainly not for adults who are living in a post-apocalyptic world which is unforgiving. The way Joel gets killed is very brutal and most importantly it does not do justice to his character. If you are going to kill off a beloved character, then make his death impactful, honorable, and memorable.

The character Abby is not likeable and the unraveling of her motives do not redeem her. She comes in as a complete stranger, murders Joel in the most brutal way, and sets the revenge story on its path. The worst part is that we have to play as her for a substantial amount of the time. She murders just as much as Joel and Ellie have, yet she never actually has any mental breakdowns from her slaughtering. She seems plain and fake. Whereas Ellie kills a pregnant woman (in self defense I may add) and after she finds out that the woman is pregnant she pretty much suffers from what she has done. Ellie is much better written than Abby and there is no connection whatsoever with Abby.

The story finished off by Ellie slaughtering her way through to get revenge for Joel's death, gets her fingers bit off by Abby and in the final fight against Abby, Ellie all of a sudden reaches the moral illumination that revenge and killing is bad and lets her walk away; Ellie comes home to just find that she is all alone and lost everything. The story is bad. Really bad.

    Score 4/10:

Note also that this is a story-driven game. So the story has to be weighted more than gameplay and graphics. I weighted the story twice as much as gameplay and graphics since this is not an online fps where the story does not matter but the gameplay does.

    Hence, the final score is ( Graphics + Gameplay + Story + Story) / 4 = (9 + 7 + 0 + 0) / 4 = 16/4 = 4.

    Final score 2/10:

Thus, the final score of the game that I would give is a 4. If there would have not been false marketing from Naughty Dog's side, that is. And this issue has to be addressed too in the final score. Naughty Dog has deliberately swapped models from the trailers which correspond to in-game scenes in order to manipulate fans. In trailers, we see some scenes with an older looking Joel. However, when we reach those particular scenes in-game, then we can see that those are flashbacks from the first game with the younger Joel from the first game. Such "grey zone" manipulation and giving a false sense that Joel will be much more in the game than he actually is should not be tolerated. It is immoral. Since the game does not exist independently of its developers, marketeers, and publisher, we have to include their reputable actions into the final score too. This immoral behavior cost the game 2 points. Hence, my final score is a 2/10.

    Final thoughts:

I do not recommend this game to anyone who has played the first game and is a fan of Joel and Ellie. For those who have not played the first game, your experience might differ and perhaps you will enjoy the game as a standalone independent piece. But even then, this is most certainly not a 9.5-10/10 as these critics make it seem. Any rational person will give it a 4-7/10 (if you wish to ignore how the game was marketed; if not, then subtract 2 points).

First things first there are plenty of things about this game to pick fault with but the culture war stuff feels entirely unnecessary. There's plenty of things to pick fault with and if you're not into the characters then you'll probably not enjoy the game very much. Thing is though it'd be the same if the characters weren't "SJW" they'd still be naff characters so try to look past that and take the game on its own merits.

Anyway my first 5 hours with the game had me ready to write this off as an exercise in frustration. Right off the bat if you're not into stealth games you're probably gonna have a bad time. It can be very unforgiving and some of the combat encounters can feel a bit laborious. Once you get further in though it all feels like it clicks into place and you get a real feel for what you're doing. For me the story was a harrowing experience but very well delivered subjectively of course.

In retrospect I've dropped the score down to an 8 as the more I've thought about it the more niggles have cropped up. The tendancy to lavishly animate literally everything wears thin and ironically lends an air of uncanny valley when you're doing something quintessentially videogamey like crafting or upgrading. What you're doing isn't especially realistic within the time frame so it's odd to see it played out with hyper realistic animations. I'd rather they saved the fancy animations for the meat and potatoes of the combat, exploration and social interactions. Would save the players time and likely cut down on unnecessary Dev crunch.

Also the game could stand to lose a few hours and would probably be better for it. Plus some of Ellie's behaviour and decisions later in the game I just couldn't quite suspend my disbelief on which took me out of it a bit.

If you're in the market for a decent stealth game with oodles of exploration and insane visuals with a good story to boot then you're in for a treat. Just be aware that it's extremely heavy going emotionally and is very stealth focused.

The first game was amazing, but now they have actually destroyed the story line, the narrative choice was made only focusing in one aspect just to please a political aspect, basically they forgot about the characters, gaming, game fans and everything just for politics, which is really disappointing. I should have spent my money in another game.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
