For me this game gets a 8 /10,it wasn't perfect and it's really different from the last game in terms of narrative, they wanted to change the story and it didn't succeed as they wanted but I didn't find the story bad,just average but all the other elements are a 10 /10, this game doesn't deserve the review bombing it gets, I understand if you wanted a different story but rating this 0/10 is just pathetic.     The game is not nearly asperfect as the first one but it certainly lives up to the expectations. The story is deep , engaging and traumatising even. It manges to make you feel sadness, happiness and the narrative beats helps to convey these feelings to you. At the beginning it sets up your mind in a state of " I'm going to kill every last one of them" but as the narrative evolves we slowlyThe game is not nearly asperfect as the first one but it certainly lives up to the expectations. At the beginning it sets up your mind in a state of " I'm going to kill every last one of them" but as the narrative evolves we slowly change our perspective . We get to understand that each one of our actions has a weight in this post apocalyptic world. The quest of revenge is justified but at the end we question whether it was truly worth everything you had. The second main character greatly ressembles Joel's arc in the first game and we see how she changes from a ruthless killer of Justice to a Caring person who finally finds something to live for again. The finale shows us how it is hard to break from something here the cycle of violence instilled by the end of The first game ,but leaves a deep profound impact which makes players think and think and think... For the foreseeable future of the series and in which direction the writers want to expand the story . It is not Joel's and Ellie's story, it's the story of The Last of us.… Expand

    This Game is MASTERPIECE. I don't know what you could ask more. Combat is more brutal than the first one which make a dark gritty world more realistic. Visual is stunning even run on the base PS4. Seattle is very interesting as a main location. And the story is ASTONISHING. It make me rethink what is good and bad. Everything you have done had a following consequence. Which, in the end. HadThis Game is MASTERPIECE. I don't know what you could ask more. There was so much potential here to build off the legendary story telling of part I and in its own attempt to justify the revenge plot ends up trying to convince itself this is what it’s meant to be. The magic is gone and we’re left in a world where there is no hope, no reasoning, no light. You are left with a sour, unsweet taste of forcing a narrative that’s a complete disconnect from the prequel. As has been said before at least we have the first game and we can all use our imaginations to come up with a better succession to what we’ve experienced. Part II is a dark void of an alternative universe. Nothing is familiar here.… Expand

The best graphics from the current generation of consoles, although decently cut from the time of the trailer, is a normal plot, time-tested solid gameplay. But in all of this there is one BUT, and this is not even a continuation for the waiters, this is banal broken storyline curve from which there is only one question why shouldn't I must care?) Someone said that Drackmann was inspired by Nolan and therefore made such an arrangement of plot scenes and flashbacks. But it all reminds me of the level of some newcomer who decided not to shove something in.) Maybe it was such an idea that people cause a fifth point to be undermined, but the point of spoiling the work for the sake of this remains a big mystery to me) If you look at the whole storyline problem, then we have heroes from the last game, to which we have emotions and in this part there is a continuation about them in the form of flashbacks in front of the main plot of the game. And the question is why shove these flashbacks where one of the heroes has already left forever?) Here we look at these flashbacks, but there is no emotional response because the hero is already end. The second point, we have an antagonist who stands out half of the game, why shove it after what made it the antoganist of the game?) Not only doesn’t you want to play for so long because of bias, it’s annoying when the authors are trying to impose on us the idea that the antagonist is not so bad and that everything is not so simple in this sinful life) Again, to some extent, the intrigue is lost. And now all this crookedness strongly hits the rest of the positive part of the game. These problems, which are not the only ones, make a slurred game with incorrectly placed accents, which is why it is not interesting to look at old heroes, but simply do not care about new ones.     A story focused game with extremely poor storytelling. It doesn't matter how pretty you make your game, if the gameplay is average, the story is bad and the characters unrelatable.

    The last of us didn't need a sequel and this game adds nothing to do the universe.

    I understand why many people didn't like this game. The plot may be too harsh on some players. But I got an unheard-of pleasure from it, as well as from the gameplay, graphics and atmosphere.

    The game teach us the cicle of hate and how to break it.

    Story has ruined everything. if you kill one of the most beloved characters early in the game (Joel) and want to bring in new main playable characters like Abby, you HAVE to bring WAY more backstory in order to make the player feel with her.
    I mean she KILLED Joel!

    This game is by far one of my favourites under graphics! Level of detail is amazing, animation to movements, details on terrain, clothes, weapons, you name it! It looks gorgeous! Everywhere you look is a piece of art so bonus points for that! Level design is also awesome!
    For the story? Not so great. The writing is bad.
    The fans have been wondering and theorizing on what's going to happen for our main characters for Joel and Ellie and other lovable characters during the first one. After long years of waiting... we get a revenge story that is not fulfilled.
    The only best moments in the game by far is the flashbacks with young Ellie and Joel. Awesome moments and makes your heart warm.
    To be honest, I really wish Joel should've got more play time... he died fairly quick during the beginning of the game.
    The ending... oh that ending... what was the point of the whole game when it ends just like that... you don't get to kill Abby, you let her live, and go back home with two missing fingers with an abandoned farmhouse, played the guitar, had a flashback to Joel, leave and roll the credits. What was the point of all that? Abby KILLED Joel ffs! A lovable and badass character killed just like that. Ellie's drive on killing Abby is off the roof then her drive just switched off out of no where in the end... It almost as if this sequel was pointless.

    Would I recommend this game as a Last of Us fan? Nope.

    Would you buy this full price? Nah... buy it when it goes on a big sale or wait until PS+ makes it a free game in the future.

    Is this game gonna be Game of the Year? Absolutely not!

    For hardcore Naughty Dog fans, I am truly sorry about this game. I can feel the huge disrespect in your face. A long awaited game is here and ends in a really horrible way.    … Expand

    Eu zerei ele dia 21/06 e eu simplesmente não consigo expressar o sentimento que eu sinto,esse jogo mexeu comigo e muito,igual o primeiro,eu passei o dia inteiro pensando sobre o jogo eu literalmente não consegui focar em nada que fazia no meu cotidiano,e por incrível que pareça eu tive "flashback" de momentos do jogo como na parte onde mostra a Ellie na fazenda e ela surta com o barulho da pá lembrando do Joel eu me lembrei enquanto lavava a louça e a panela caiu da minha mão,realmente esse jogo junto com o primeiro é um dos melhores da minha vida

Ignorando el crunch al que fueron sometidos los trabajadores para sacar este juego, lo asqueroso que es que quieran ser tan inclusivos con sus personajes, que la prensa le regale 10 y que juzgue de homofobicos a todos los que no lo califiquen con 10 perfecto, el juego tiene buen gameplay sorprendentes gráficos mejor que toda la basura mostrada en el anuncio de la Ps5, este juego carece de lo que hacía tan grande al original una buena historia, y se supone con el final la moraleja es que la venganza es mala y por eso no mata a Abby, pero bien que para Abby la venganza salió perfecta, y al pobre de Joel le destruyeron todas sus neuronas y se volvió un tontito qu e murió colo un perro, el juego merece un 5-6 pero para emparejar la nota le pongo 0, por que en esta página se van a poner a quitar muchas reseñas negativas como con death stranding… Expand

    The last of us part 2 отличная игра, но у этой игры конечно же есть проблемы и их всего лишь 3. Первая проблема это сюжет, он намного слабее первой части и он построен на мести, что начинает заебывать где-то в середине игры, но в принципе критичных моментов в сюжете я не заметил.
    Вторая проблема данной игры это персонажи, они прописаны очень плохо, практически на каждого персонажа в этой    The last of us part 2 отличная игра, но у этой игры конечно же есть проблемы и их всего лишь 3. Первая проблема это сюжет, он намного слабее первой части и он построен на мести, что начинает заебывать где-то в середине игры, но в принципе критичных моментов в сюжете я не заметил.
    Вторая проблема данной игры это персонажи, они прописаны очень плохо, практически на каждого персонажа в этой игре мне было плевать, даже когда некоторых персонажей убивали мне было просто безразлично.
    Третья проблема так это, то что игра слишком сильно затянута, ее можно бвло бы сделать немного короче, но возможно для кого-нибудь это будет плюсом.
    А насчет ЛГБТ повестки могу сказать, что ее в игре практически нету, все что есть лесбийские отношения элли и ее подруги дины(что в принуипе нормально и я не вижу в этом никакую рропоганду, тем более это было еще в первой части) ,и один трансгендер, и его проблеме в игре уделили отсилы пару минут и это не критично(но мне кажется, что это быдо неуместно, так как в постапокалипсисе и во время войны с другой группировкой ей должно быть не до этого), поэтому могу сказать, что лгбт повестки в этой игре практически нет.
    В остальном игра просто отличная и я ставлю этой игре 8 баллов из 10, минус балл за сюжет, так как он слабоват и минус балл за недоработанных персонажей и затянутость. Эту игру хейтят незаслуженно и да библейских отсылок тут достаточно    … Expand

    Great, just great. I feel so sorry for those who are incapable of enjoying a game just because it has a message that they dont necessarily agree with. It's a game about hate, but it's not that simple. It's a game about all the cycle of hate. Anger, Revenge, Consequences, Empathy, Acceptance and Moving on. Truly a masterpiece.

    Amazing game, everything about it is incredible, be it the storyline or the gameplay, also extra points for the accessibility and inclusivity, all that makes this game utterly immersive and organic, almost like a movie we can interact with and be part of.     I waited close to a decade for this. The first one was a masterpiece, great storytelling. The bond between Ellie and Joel. And In the sequel what? Just for them to treat Joel with such disrespect? What a huge disappointment.

    Great story but could’ve been told/structured better, and they tried to introduce too many characters which made the game seem a bit too long as I think we all wanted to just get back to Ellie. Other than that, super big and beautiful environments with optional routes/tasks that are worth doing and a lot of the new characters I did end up liking after playing along them more. My rating is for the work put in by devs, the narrative was sawft. why the main characters behaved so out of their personalities with regard to the first game is beyond me.

    This is fantastic, if you liked the first one, you’ll love the sequel! This game has been bombed with negative reviews, simply for the character being a lesbian... it’s not some stupid f*cking agenda that the developer had, lesbians exist in the world whether you homophobic c*nts like it or not :)

Pretty much everything has been improved from the first one, in terms of gameplay, graphics and animations. The big difference is the story, is it perfect?     Ganz realistisch gesehen ist es eines der besten Games für die PS4. Grafisch und vom Umfang her sehr stark.
    Die Spielphysik und Steuerung ist fast wie beim ersten Teil. Aber die Aufmachung ist top, auch zu beachten ist Wertungsfrei gesehen eine hohe Brutalität. Die nicht in meine Wertung einfließt. Im Grundsatz sollte man eher den Wertungen derSpielkritikern von Testseiten oder Zeitschriften glauben.

    I loved the emotional aspects of this game! I also loved the graphics and the great use of them. At first I was angry with the choices in plot writing, but it came together wonderfully. Anyone **** clearly hasn’t actually played the game and is pissy Joel died and characters were gay.

    this game is perfect in every way. You really can't judge the story unless you've played it. It really snuck on me and made me feel emotions I hadn't known existed. You might think I'm overexaggerating, but that is truly how I felt. Its almost as if we all have our own subjective experiences that lead us to have different, subjective, opinions of this game... huh what an interesting thought

Why would Joel say his name to a bunch a random strangers he just met and also why did Tommy say that you can come our place and restock to a group of random people. Then the worst part is when you play as Abby you will have to choke Ellie out which felt very uncomfortable. The whole Revenge plot was just absolutely GARBAGE. Why would Ellie KILL hundreds of people that didn't have to do anything with Joel's death just to get to Abby only to then let Abby go at the end??? You can see that this game tried portray as if Ellie is the main villain in this story and Abby the hero. Literally nothing happens to Abby in this game she got what she wanted and Ellie loses EVERYTHING, friends, family and what she was fighting for. The game did get boring on some parts but the gameplay and graphics are pretty good. If i see Abby in Last of us part 3 I am not buying the game. Not worth £55 to be honest.… Expand

    Amazing game, well written story, and complex characters.
    Those who dislike the game and give it a zero are overly attached to a preconceived notion of what the game "should" be. Their hero worship of Joel prevents them from being receptive to the greater story. It's sad, their blind hatred of the game only proves the point that the game makes.

Boring characters, can't relate with them, can't suffer what they suffer. Ironically, the only character I can relate with is Joel.

    Now, the gameplay... We've been waiting for 7 years, almost 2 generations, and the "New" mechanics they added WERE LITERALLY MGS FOR THE PS1 MECHANICS (Yeeting into the grass and jumping). ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS? WE CRITICIZED COD GHOSTS FOR ADDING DOGS AS A NEW MECHANICS, BUT ARE WE GONNA PRAISE TLOU2 FOR THE EXACT SAME THING?!
    No, seriously, y'all remember when Battlefield 4 came out, and you could literally destroy a 20 floor building to change the map in a PS3? TLOU2 with 7 years and almost 2 generations can't even add an interesting mechanic.
    In a playable level, TLOU2 it's a PS2 game. God of War 2 had a more in-depth mechanics, let's not even talk about Metal Gear Solid.
    My conclusion: Don't waste your money in this game, seriously. It has absolutely 0 re-jugability. There's nothing that could interest you in making a second run, other than the virtual difficulty. You can't take different options, there's not a large arsenal that could change significantly your playing mode and etc. If you want to buy a new game, I personally recommend you RdR 2, since it's just a better game in all ways. Or even better, buy an old game (Like Dark Souls or Battlefield 4) since they are for sure being a better investment for a cheaper price, having significantly more hours of fun.
    At the end of the day, things like these may disappoint us, the people who actually play videogames, but YouTube/Twitch/TV are for sure gonna love it. TLOU2 is going to be a GOTY and will attract a lot of people who are not even related with the world of gaming just because it's a """Different""" game. I don't really care if Ellie's lesbian, if there's a Jew character of if there's a Trans. Seriously, I give 0 **** about that. So to all of those kids who criticize the game for being too "LGBT inclusive", **** off. The game is mediocre not because it's inclusive, but it's made to call the attention of the media. Talking about controversial things like LGBT community or transexuals always makes an endless argue, and naughty dog knows that. Just accept there's people who wants to live their life's however they want, and even if there are some people who like to call the attention by being controversial; just ignore them, they are literally trolls.
