    Simple.. it's the best game I've ever played so far.

    The game drives you in as if you were in it. It has that particular touch that makes you embody the characters. Graphics are the best in the history of videogames, gameplay is really decent and everyone knows it. The story??? Omg, I love this story too! The ending blew my mind.     Outstanding game, it started slow but made a huge turn and the game was honestly amazing, the whole story is just captivating and way better than i thought it would be, 100% worth it, way better than the first game.

    The zeros on other reviews are an insult to the amount of work and care that this game has. It makes me so sad to see it. Play the game to completion and you will see it’s not a 0/10. It’s a solid 8/9 but I am giving it a 10 to offset those silly zeros.

It's a roller coaster of emotions, i've never felt that many emotions with a game, like to be happy, angry, mad, desperate, etc. The game is looking to put that feelings in your mind and it does it. Many people are complaining about what Abby did, but if you think deeply into her actions you should be able to understand her. That doesn't mean that i want her dead, i mean, i hate her even after the end, but i understand the character. On the other side, we all loved Joel, of course, he was an amazing character and his relationship with Ellie was the best plot i have ever seen on a videogame, but we also know that Joel was actually a monster, that killed a lot of innocent people in the past (he said Ellie in the first game that he has been on both sides of the coin, talking about hunters) and that also has practically condemned the humanity to the extinction by denying the cure for the virus (killing tons of innocent on the hospital btw). So, yes, we love Joel, but you can't tell he was a good person, maybe he even deserved worst that his death. This game IS NOT A DISNEY MOVIE, if you want fairy tales, happy endings, cute characters, man, go to disney plus and watch all that movies, maybe that's what you are looking for. This game is excellent in the way it is supposed to be.

    To finish this i have to say that the playability is amazing, it's so satisfying man. The graphics also are the best we've seen on ps4 and the music is perfect, like it was on the first game. So, this is a masterpiece, but not for everyone.    … Expand

    No game other than TLOU part 1 has made me as emotional as this one. Second best game I've ever played. Seems like the people disliking this game wanted an exact copy of the last of us. Go in with an open mind and allow yourself to experience the story thats being told, rather than the story you want to be told

    An incredable game! Meticulous detail and care when into crafting this world and it shows. Gameplay is incredbly engaging through and through and an incredable story to top it all off. A worthy successor to The Last Of Us! Cannot reccomend enough!

The jogability got better, with more resources, more stealth, and more challenging, like the dogs making this harder. The story made me get emotional some times. During my first go round in the back of my head I was constantly thinking about all the negatives ppl were saying about the game during the release and I found myself agreeing to them. When I played with Abby I didn't give her character a chance didn't enjoy it just ran thrive it and by the end of the game I really sympathized with her. If you want another Joel and Ellie adventure this isn't it his story was good was told in the first game. Go in with an open mind and enjoy it.… Expand

    Just dropping a 10 here to help counter the hate/bomb reviews. Despite not being perfect the game definetly deserves a better user score. At least about 6 or 7 out of 10.

    Outstanding visuals and animations with immersive apocalyptic scenarios of nature taking human civilization. Music is great as always and gameplay is nice being the same as the first game with small improvements. I    Just dropping a 10 here to help counter the hate/bomb reviews. Despite not being perfect the game definetly deserves a better user score. At least about 6 or 7 out of 10.

    I went in expecting the worst based off the spoilers and general negativity surrounding the game.

    After finishing it, its clear that the negativity stems mostly from the anger of those that havent actually played the game. It is awesome. It hurts, its painful, its heartbreaking and its art.

    But this game doesn't pander to its audience and rather features a complex story that asks difficult questions about love, violence and justice. It's the kind of plot that you would sooner expect to see in a pulizer winning novel rather than a video game.

    That's not to say the gaming aspects aren't top-notch though. This is easily one of the prettiest games I've ever played, and it's character models and physics-engine are next level. Combat is incredibly realistic and brutal and this is one of the few games that actually made me question my own role in the violence playing out on screen.

    If there are any downsides to the game, it's that the stealth can be a little hit or miss and that the story in the third act isn't quite as strong as the first two. in the end, the positives far, far outweigh the negatives though.

    The last of us part II achieved the feat of surpassing its predecessor. The gameplay evolves, the graphics are the best on the console and with a bold and daring story. Charismatic and captivating characters very well built throughout the plot. There is no perfect game , but this would be one of the closest to him.

    I think the game unfortunately highlights the worst in people, not because of the game itself but because of bigoted responses. Reading some responses including on Google, It left me almost in tears to think how much hate is out there. The game is a 10. Thanks naughty dog

Whilst playing as Abby I was really close to dropping off. The moment when i was hitting Ellie to death i thought this was it. I didn't wanna play it anymore. I just continued because i wanted where it was trying to get at. The last part of the game has to be the best sequence in gaming history. The inbetween showing Joel's and Ellie's relationship going through such tension was like a Greek tragedy. Neill Druckmann was 100% committed to his vision. It's a pinnacle of art. Nothing less. I don't think we'll ever get to experience something this emotionally strong in a game. The game ain't about revenge. It is about survival. Mental survival. Physical survival. Survival at any cost. I'm not saying anything about the gameplay nor the graphics because it can't get any better on ps4 it's the best we've ever had in this generation. I wish Naughty Dog to keep making their games based on their vision. Not on fan fiction or whatever makes our mostly brain dead community happy. 10/10… Expand

    Upon completing this game, I am left heartbroken. I watched a character that I've loved for years lose herself because she lost someone she cared about, and who cared about her. Its a difficult experience to see Ellie make decisions that leave her lost and alone, and it is by no means 'fun' to see her throw away everything only to be torn further from Joel, and let his killer live.

    But to call the story 'bad' because you think Ellie should have fulfilled her revenge is completely missing the point ND was trying to make. I think one's enjoyment of this story depends on whether the game is able to make you empathize with Abby, and even root for her. For me, ND accomplished this. In the beginning, I hated Abby and wanted to see her meet the consequences of her choice to seek out and murder Joel. But by the end, during the fight on the beach, I wanted her to live. Abby is cold and hardened, scarred by the loss of the person she cared about more than anything, and struggling to find her purpose in the world. Through our time playing as her, we see her begin to regain some of that humanity, through her conviction to protect a young child and bring them to safety. If this sounds familiar, its because her arc is very similar to Joel's in the first game. By the end of The Last of Us, Joel had done some monstrous things and killed many innocent people, but we still loved him. Abby is no worse than Joel, and though she never fully redeems herself in my eyes for what she did, I still understand her motivations and hope that she and Lev find the safe haven they are looking for.

    This game shows that the cycle of violence is dangerous to become swept up in. Started by Joel, passed to Abby, then to Ellie, this cycle of killing caused both Ellie and Abby to lose themselves, and many people they cared about. This game caused me to care equally for the two of them, and made me deeply anxious during their two fights. I understood what was driving Ellie to kill Abby, but I didn't want her to do it. In the end, Ellie thinks of her last interaction with Joel, where she decides to try to forgive him for what he did to the Fireflies to save her, and decides to break the cycle of violence and allow Abby to escape. I think she made the right choice in the end. Killing Abby would not have given Ellie any closure, as she had already lost everything in her pursuit to that end. She could have had a peaceful life with Dina, but she threw it away and paid the price.

    Even though this game had a deeply depressing ending, I am in no way disappointed with it. They had a story to tell, and however bleak it was, I think they told it well. I was moved in a way few games have been able to move me, and I mourn the death of Joel, and I feel sorry for what Ellie has become. The fact that ND makes me feel that way is not the sign of a bad game, but the hallmark of a truly special title, one that, just as the Last of Us 1 did, makes you care about its characters above all else.    … Expand

This game is an absolute masterpiece with amazing gameplay and storyline.. naughty dogg have continually proved they make the best story driven games and this is no different. A must own for any ps4 owner

    Un capolavoro videoludico. Il gioco ti trascina su questa giostra di emozioni pazzesca, pieni di alti e bassi assurdi. La grafica e il comparto tecnico riescono ad arrivare ad un livello clamoroso rendendo il gioco il migliore in questo ambito attualmente. Vorrei fare davvero i complimenti agli sviluppatori per aver creato e scritto un gioco del genere.

    Eu chorei MUITO, ao ponto de quase gritar. Estou depressivo até agora, logo após o término da história. Eu amei, eu amei de verdade.     My new favourite game of all time tied with God of War PS4. After finishing The Last of Us Part II all other games feel hollow. Eclipses the first game in every way. Highly recommended,

    INCRÍVEL! Um jogo com uma narrativa espantosa de linda, os personagens são carismáticos como a do primeiro jogo e a jogabilidade melhorou tudo o que tinha para melhorar. (Recomendo este jogo para quem tem mais que 18 anos.)

    Finished the game around 40hrs, Graphic、Motion、Music and Sound Effect are TOP-notch, Gameplay has huge improvement compare with previous game. Story may not be everyone's cup of tea but very logically and every characters serve their purposes in game. What the F**king Game! What the F**king World!

    I finally finished it. It’s a masterpiece. It really really is. I hate yet to read through all the hate as I have been avoiding spoilers, but whatever it is (and I can guess) people are **** stupid.

    Play the game, then keep playing it. Even if you think it’s going in a direction you don’t like, stick with it. Fuuuuuck.

    Uma jogo excelente em gráficos e narrativa. Um enredo muito corajoso e que causa várias reflexões. Se dividir em episódios de 60 minutos você terá uma excelente série nos moldes da HBO, Hulu, Amazon ou Netflix. Valeu cada centavo investido.

    This game is a masterpiece. I like the gameplay and the mechanics, the history is not perfect and i don´t like too much the final. But I don't like the final of the first game too.

    Highly emotional attached with all main characters.
    This game is for adult with an empathy heart only.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
