First of all i gotta say that naughty dog did a really great job by making the visuals and the gameplay as good as possible, because the gameplay of the first part it wasnt really terrefing and in part 2 you can get a bit more of tension and being afraid of zombies coming after you because they can kill you really fast (you can get a better look at playing in survival) but i think they dont quite get it on the story part, it would be much better to start with abby story to see how she felt with the things joel have done and why she wanted so bad to kill him, apart from that the flashback were soo un organised from my point o view, because we dont know how ellie finds out what joel did on the hospital or how their relantionship was at the time joel died (talking about their last conversation, it would have a bigger impact to know that ellie couldnt say "i forgive you" to joel), another thing is that i dont know why they deciddd to make ellie the most inmature mother ever, i know joel was really important for her but it was really necessary to went to hunt abby when you have to raise a child with your twin soul?? In one part of the game ellie said that she wanted to have a farm and blah blah, but then she makes the biggest wrong choice and didnt complete his mission that was killing abby amd by the time she went back home she lost everything, dina, jj, the farm and the ability to play the guitar that joel gave to her, at least it gives you the message that revenge its not a good thing (abby learned that and had a better ending for her story) (by the way im team abby now) Expand

This game is a misunderstood masterpiece that is getting review bombed because people can't get over the fact that its previous game lead dies. The character had it coming, could they have done it better? Yes? Do they show context? Yes.. Its has been two days since the general public has gotten to play it and they are blatantly hating on it because of its gender politics and its game's introduction. They have written reviews without finishing the game and after finishing it I understand why they made the decisions they made throughout the story. Its gorgeous not only graphics wise but also on a story perspective. Naughty Dog has created a masterpiece in storytelling and you guys hate it because of its politics. Expand

Expand

The problem is the story took a direction that was just not very believable or enjoyable for most that have played this game. It is very grim and nothing is truly achieved by the end of the game except that most of the characters the player comes to know end up dead. 5/10 Expand

The story is great, the characters are complex and their motivations are completely understandable. The fact that Naughty Dog made me feel empathy for a character who I genuinely hated is a testament to just how well they can tell a story. Loved it from the beginning til the end because of all of the complex emotions I was able to feel from the story being told. I felt like I could relate to each and every character. The only thing I wish was there would be a more fleshed out crafting system. Other than that, I believe this game will go down in history as a masterpiece, just like the first one. Expand

The truth is that killing a character in an inversely stupid way, and putting the player in the place of a villain to face another beloved character is simply absurd when it comes to storytelling. In an effort to "innovate" and make a storyline that "invites the player to reflect", all the writers do is a teenage story that completely destroys the best of the title. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game was a fantastic follow-up to the first chapter, and Naught Dog (ND) deserves a huge congrats and thank you for bringing this wonderful piece of Art to market. I call this game art because it's such a different experience to any other game franchise I've played, even compared to ND's other amazing franchises such as the Drake's series. Both the TLOU franchise and Drake's have the same cinematic feeling, but TLOU has this profound character development and emotional ties that make it a totally different emotional experience to play. At the end of TLOU1, I felt the same feeling I get when I finish an amazing novel - I felt a bit empty inside, emotionally drained, shocked, and sad that my journey with the characters had come to an end. The ending of TLOU2 left me with the same sentiments but also built upon those emotional feelings by providing such complexity of character development. I absolutely loved this game and it deserves a solid 10/10.

Technically, the game was very impressive and improved upon the original in many ways. The combat mechanics felt smoother. The tweaks to the classes of infected played very well - clickers flowed into combat scenes easier without the need to craft shivs, the shamblers were sufficiently difficult to make encounters challenging during the first half of the game (hard mode), and the changes to the stalker class created a perfect horror environment in their scenes.

Visual and audio were impeccable as expected. An incredible amount of detail went into building Seattle and the other locations, and it shows with amazing visuals and great sound engineering. I also really appreciate all the side-stories that the writers weaved in via the notes you find laying around.

Now to the Story, which seems to be the controversial part for many people leaving negative reviews. I honestly just don't get it. Some people complaining Joel died - really? Objectively his actions at the end of the first game were monstrous and unforgivable, even in Ellie's words. Also the game would have been meaningless if he hadn't died - the whole point is that his death broke Ellie, just as the song foreshadowed and in the same way that Sarah's death broke Joel in the first game. In the first game, after Joel "broke" he became a bad guy and lived as a hunter and murderer for much of the time before he met Ellie. When Joel meets Ellie in the first game, she "fixes" him and shows him that he can love and be human again. In the same way, Ellie mirrors this pattern and loses herself after Joel's death and goes on an illogical murderous rampage through Seattle killing hundreds. Ellie only finds herself again in the very final scene of the game, when she remembers that she agreed to try to forgive Joel.

Now lots of people complaining about playing for Abby as half the game. Okay, I agree that maybe they could have broken up the 10hrs of Abby gameplay somehow but you have to admit that some of Abby's gameplay scenes were awesome (sniper battle, sky bridge, etc). But also cannot you really not understand why the devs wanted you to see Abby's story? Her journey mirrors Joel/Ellie's exactly so she is a perfect foil. Abby was "broken" by her father's death and the murder of the other fireflies by Joel. This sends her down a dark path where she becomes a murderous "piece of **** fighting for the WLF. She is snapped out of this when Yara and Lev save her life and she realizes that violence and retribution are not the only ways to survive in the messed up post-apocalyptic world. This is why she spares Ellie and Tommy during the theatre fight, she is ready to give up the cycle of violence and knows that more death will not bring her happiness.

The story and writing are incredible and really place you into the shoes of complex characters living in a desperate world. You can't just simplify the characters into bad guys and good guys, because they are all doing bad things in a bad world. Instead the writers have provided us with believable characters with depth and development throughout the 20+hrs of gameplay. It was an absolute pleasure playing through their emotional journeys while playing in such a vivid and terrifying world.

Props Naughty Dog, you did it again. Now unfortunately I need to wait until PS6 is announced before I will get to play TLOU3.

Playing as Abby was a bit strange in the beginning but in the end I had more fun with her story line than with Ellie's.

The graphics are just stunning. The sound is amazing. Gameplay is the best I have ever experienced. The game could have been shorter though. In the end I just wanted to know how it ends and I think 5 less hours could have worked as well. But this is the only small negative point that comes to my mind about TLOU 2.

Fa riflettere, fa provare emozioni forti. Bravi tutti. Expand

I'm convinced the vast majority of negative reviews come from people who haven't even played the game. Yes, this game does have a couple lgbtq+ characters, but so does the audience playing this game, and Ellie has been gay since the first game. Furthermore, people are mad about how Joel died, but as far as I'm concerned the portion was written well. He was forced into a situation of being around strangers, none of which showed hostility until he gave his name. All in all this game has the best graphics on ps4, some of the best gameplay on ps4, and a truly immersive storyline that forces you to feel emotions and get involved on a deeper level. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Enjoyed the majority of this game including the visuals, sound, gameplay, characters and story. The first major plot point was a shock which I felt mixed about and perhaps even disappointed in initially. However it was effective in making the player invested in the story and caring about the following events, eventually leading to feeling accepting of this first plot point despite it not being the direction I hoped for. The first 18-20 hours of the game I really enjoyed and wanted to keep pushing forward to find out how things will play out. I particularly enjoyed some of the story telling methods during this, including flashback scenes which revealed some plot points relevant to the present day story. A few charming moments between characters which is typical of Naughty Dog games and offered some levity in an otherwise bleak and brutal in-game world.

There is a section which occurs around the 17-18 hour mark where there’s a shift in how the game plays out. Initially I really enjoyed this and it offered an another insight to the overall plot however felt this went on longer than I personally wanted. I understand the purpose of this section but it felt too dragged out for me.

I have mixed feelings about the end however I appreciate what the purpose of it is. My biggest problem with this is due to having a strong feeling of attachment to the original characters and wanting things to work out in their favour. This isn’t a sign of a bad game or story but a sign of attachment to the characters I loved from the original. I feel like if this was the first instalment I would’ve been much more inclined to feel more satisfied with the story.

I think overall it is an amazing game but it did take risks with it’s direction that go against the grain. This is always likely to cause fans of the original to either feel mixed or disappointed. If I were to change anything it would be to have more focus on the aspects I mentioned which made the first 17 or so hours so enjoyable and cut back on the section I mentioned felt too dragged out. I also want to mention I think it’s unfair to say the game is pushing a political agenda - LGBT characters feel authentic and adds to their character or story arc. I didn’t feel forced or anything other than having a variety of characters in the world. I think it’s fair to say that not everyone will be pleased with the story but I really enjoyed my experience with the game and even though some aspects weren’t fully what I wanted, I appreciate their purpose. The game is very dark and brutal in its theme which means not everyone will feel satisfied as most stories have a resolve or “happy ending”. As much as I would’ve liked it to steer in a direction that is more typical of game or film stories, I feel that it is at least true to the world of The Last of Us and is a bold move to deviate from expectations.

Despite having a variety of mixed emotions and thoughts on The Last it Us Part II, I did enjoy the game overall and will definitely play it again. I’d recommend others to give it a chance to experience it for theirselves.

The fact the ending isn't clearly the worst part of the game just goes to show how many truly terrible things there are about the game. The protagonist of the first game killed while acting wildly out of character? Check. Being forced to play half the game as an entirely new character that has absolutely zero likable qualities? Check. Ugh.

Then at the end when you're finally about to kill that new character mentioned above a flashback to Joel saves her? How about, **** her, she killed Ellie's dad kill her. Not to mention bit off her fingers only seconds before. So infuriating. I would have given it another point or two if Ellie had finished her off in the end, it would still be a gross and annoying story but at least it would end on an up note.

Now I know, the thing to do is say "Anyone who doesn't like the game must hate women." Really? Ellie doesn't count? How stupid is that logic.

Everything about this game is lovingly crafted and beautifully executed. The main contention from people seems to be about the story, Which we’ve seen time and time again be the sore point of beloved franchises for whatever reason however this was the developers story they wanted to say and how they wrapped it into this experience for the player is nothing short of amazing.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If any of the positive reviewers have ever played the first game with any shred of attention or passion for it then i really don't understand where they are comming from calling it great and inronically calling the story a supposed "masterpiece" ... Whereas the first game is unforgettable due to the tone it set, combining bitter reality with a theme of hope, and well established characters that we all grew to know and love, the second game almost spits on all that was built up, and presents us a world that doesn't correspond with the theme astablished, and characters who are anything but a continuation of what they were and are. Joel was going to be killed eventually yes due to what he did at the end of the first game, but the way they did it in the second is just purely **** writing. When it happens, nobody knows who the **** Abby is, and after that we are expected to play as her to only then after 10 hours understand who she was and why (taking the fact that she is a super bland character with no real draw or motives out of the picture for a second). A proper execution would have been for us to first understand who she is, and where she is comming from and then have it lead up to the climax of confronting Joel. Combine that with the fact that Joel is established in the first game as a very mistrusting person, always seeing through traps, people's intentions and even not trustinnlg Ellie with a switchblade (out of fear she might hurt herself that is). Having him walk into a base with strangers, giving up their names with their guard fully down is the last thing he would ever do. The writer took him out of character for an opportunity to kill him off quick for shock value, and to even be able to insert his cgi self spitting on his corpse, this whole seen and that move can therefore be seen as a spit in the face of the fans by Druckman himself.

Its also just plainly bad writing to make it seem like Joel saving her life didn't matter **** to her ... if the writers had actually bothered to put some depth into it they could have made it into a longer played out internal conflict that would have made for an actual good story.

Now the story is just about 24 hours of constant revenge while simultaneously having a political agenda shoved down your throat. It doesn't belong in the world that was so cleverly thought out and brought to life in the first game. The zombies are so absent from the story now that they could just as well have been removed, so now the suspense they created in the first game is reduced to them feeling like some annoying npc part of a puzzle to get to the next cutscene

Its just a whole game long where the player has to carry out one person's revenge fantasy after the other ... there is no depth to it, just a rinse and repeat viewed from different perspective played by characters that feel like husks compared to the complexity they had in the first game... Also there is no exiting goal anymore ... no outcome to work towards, just revenge upon revenge upon revenge plot

Also the tone is nothing like what we got in the first game. The first game was already set in dark bitter reality so i don't buy the whole "but its more like reality now" argument, but the thing that kept you playing and made the game so good was the underlying tone of hope that carried the characters through, gave the story its gripping aspect and made everything feel like it mattered. At the end of the second game there is nothing you have really accomplished. No goal was reached that meant anything, we are left with some dead people, the villain walking away and being better off than the protagonist and no sense of satisfaction whatsoever. Its just 24 hours of "i kill u cuz i mad that u killed this person"

So no, the story was just a prime case of lazy, bad writing anf showed no respect for artistical integrity. Joels death was done poorly and in total disregard for who we got to know in the first game, and so was the rest of the story. Badly written, shallow, it really added nothing of value to the timeline and on top of that tried to be way to political for the environment it takes place in. At the end of this game, there is no sense of accomplishment or satisfaction, we are left with an empty feeling, wishing we'd have never walked into this game and had just let the story end where the first game did. hence the story in all its aspects really just is a bunch of horse****, and a slap in the face for fans of the first game.

It was a mission to save the world told from the perspective of the protagonist Joel; who lost his daughter in such an evocative fashion that I was crying 15 minutes into the game. This turns Joel into a hardened survivor who does not dwell on his emotions or the emotions of anyone else, all he has is the need to survive.

Ellie gives him a purpose, she represents the light in the darkness and in time teaches him to love again. It is a long journey and a hard task but at the end of that journey he loves her so much that he sacrifices the world for her. The game ends there. Joel never tells Ellie how much he cares for her but the player knows because actions speak louder than words. You are left knowing that your entire mission to save the world was for nothing but that Ellie is safe which is more important and Joel has found the ability to love again. It is a bitter sweet ending but there is definitely light in the darkness.

Juxtapose this onto the last of us 2 a sequel which was always going to be judged next to the themes and story of it's predecessor. This is a petty revenge plot. There is no higher purpose. There is no saving the world. There is no character development. There is nothing but a shallow revenge story where the character Ellie you know and love from the first game degenerates into a cold, angry, 1 dimensional person who is an **** to everyone including the people she is supposed to care about most.

Remember when I said actions speak louder than words? Ellie abandons everyone she is supposed to care about, degenerating from the character we knew and loved from the first game into a unlikable ****.

This is a story driven game based upon relationships where the protagonist is dead and the light in the darkness has become cold, shallow and can't express a single emotion to the people closest to her. Maybe the other characters will take up the mantle and carry the story, relationships and character development. What do you think Dina?... Dina? I challenge anyone to name a single character trait that Dina has which sets her apart. Every new character you are introduced to in this game is shallow and generic. You barely care when they are unceremoniously executed.

...but wait let's spend the next 10 hours playing as someone we hate and get to know people that we know are already dead. I bet that'll be interesting. It's not. It's a waste of 10 hours. This entire game is a waste of time. It's a 22 hour long story driven game with a cookie cutter 1 dimensional shallow revenge plot but it's defining feature and what sets it apart from every other generic revenge plot is that the protagonist doesn't get revenge. How exquisite is that? the genius of storytelling is immeasurable. You spent 22 hours with nothing better to do than kill somebody and at the end you can't even do that because reasons or something.

As a developer myself, i know it's impossible to please everyone, even more in a game like The Last of Us, a huge hit. I saw plenty of people saying that the end of TLoU Part I was "Happier" than it should be, now people are complaining about a character being killed... In my opinion, i think they took the right way doing this, because then we could explore more Ellie, Tommy and all the new characters in some different ways. I really enjoyed playing as Abby, it's good to see both sides of the story, plus, we can see how things we did with Ellie interfered in Abby's story. The saddest part for me wasn't Joel's death, it was when Ellie comes back from Santa Barbara and the Dina is not there anymore, there's nothing left but Ellie's things. I understand that some of you didn't like Joel's death, but the game has a huge story besides that, amazing by the way. If you have a bad review about a game just because of a plot and ignore everything else, including the incredible gameplay and mechanics, you need to grow up and try to be mature. Expand

To many consumers are fixed with what they wanted this story to be and not the story the creators wanted to tell. So much so that they have failed to see what this game does so beautifully. It shows the cycle of violence, the tit for tat that is generated by hate, two bad acts never cancel each out, and how someone beloved to us can spiral in such a negative arc before finally realising they've pushed everyone they love away. On the flip side, we are presented a charecter that the game has encouraged us to hate, someone who did something so brutal, so disgusting that for half the game, my sole drive was my was my desire to end her life. And then they humanised her. They have shown that everyone in this world has a story, that everyone has their own motives and in the end, I understand why she chose to do what she did. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The good: The most beautiful looking game I have seen on the Playststion 4. Wonderful cinematics and gameplay help push the story along and the score is on par with Part I. A lengthy story worth the price of the game. The gameplay is improved upon from the first game and polished in all aspects with a top notch system for upgrading and crafting. New enemies and a variety of options for taking them on makes for fun and very tense combat throughout.

The bad: Certain characters behave in ways that make you question if Naughty Dog simply abandoned how the character was established in Part I or if they chose to ignore those characteristics in favor of pushing along the narrative they wanted to tell. Introducing a new character that can be viewed as the antagonist and then then forcing the player to take control of them for half of them game and try to make the player sympathize with them simply does not work. Revenge is painted to look bad in this game for one person and yet seems to be okay for another that is also a mistress to a man with a pregnant wife. It is very difficult to root for the character that kills a protagonist from the first game, even if that person is a bad person in the world of The Last of Us. Naughty Dog still built the character to become loved in the first game and players are supposed to simply switch and view him oppositely in this game to make the new character, Abby better received or liked by fans. In my own opinion, the biggest mistake of the game was establishing that Joel was wrong for rescuing Ellie at the end of Part I. Having the first game end with the player left to decide if it was right or wrong is a much better option than flat out deciding it was a fact that it was wrong and later doubling down that Joel was blind by stating he would do it again. New characters that are allies and friends of Abby (her WLF allies) are poorly written and very much unlikable and uninteresting. Yara and Lev will also divide crowds. I found both the characters, and their arc interesting.

However, credit should be given to Naighty Dog for following through with the story they wanted to tell and not letting fear of backlash dictate their path. The game does everything well but falls flat on it's narrative, especially when compared to its predecessor. It is sure to divide fans greatly but is not deserving of an overall bombing of ratings due to it's story. The game is still very entertaining and an experience that should be had by all fans of Naufhty Dog and The Last of Us world. I do not feel that it is worthy of complete praise either. What it does right is done very well, and where it falls, it falls hard. It falls in the middle ground for me but is lifted by what it does successfully accomplish. A solid 7/10 even 7.5, but nothing more due to what I fails to execute well at.

The game started very good. When Joel died i had my first "i dont wanna continue" feeling. I was over that a few hours later because i was focused to kill Joels Killers. Ellie Gameplay was really good and i enjoyed it. I looted everything, killed all people quiet and tried to explore everything. THEN the part where Jesse dies.. Everything fine... she found us.. whats gonna happen... 4 YEARS EARLIER. HERE IS ABBYS BACKSTORY. I was so disappointed at this moment and then i looked up in the internet that i have to play as ABBY FOR 10+ HOURS. OMFG. I immediately was dead inside. I hated her so much, not just because she killed Joel. So i fuc...ing rushed through her part, i didnt loot, i didnt kill people... i just tried to run through and continue the story. It was a PAIN......... So until now we have 2 Gamebreaking things. 1. Joels death. 2. 10+Hours abby. Now the real **** is happening. When you are at the Theatre as Abby, YOU HAVE TO FIGHT ELLIE AND KNOCK HER DOWN. LIKE WTF????? That was so bad to watch and just stupid. I didnt care for Tommy tbh... So we are at 3 MAJOR Disappointments... THEN we play as Ellie again. I slowly recover, playing as her is fun, no matter what she does. She wanna find Abby and kill her. She goes through that town and it is SO FUN TO PLAY HER AGAIN. and now the NECK BREAKING for us Players. SHE DOESNT EVEN KILL HER AT THE END. I MEAN LIKE WTF

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The gameplay seems old, it is pretty much the same as TLOU from 2013. The story isn't interesting is made to intentionally annoy us or at least that's how I felt. The trailers are not showing the actual game. They hide Abby because they realize most people will hate her and they won't sell as much. Even though the sound and the graphics are awesome the immersion for me was completely ruined at least in the second half of the game because of the main character I had to play. Ellie's side of the story was interesting, Dina and Jesse were interesting characters but Abby, Manny, Owen and Lev were so annoying to me. Every bit of the second half was made just to show you both sides are grey and Abby isn't the bad guy, they even add Lev and Yara to create a similar relationship between the two as Ellie had with Joel in the first game but it just seemed forced. Lev messed up so many times and every time Yara gets punished first she looses a hand and then her life because of Lev's questionable decisions. Also Lev seemed so forced into the story just to embrace an agenda ND are constantly pushing. Same with Abby being so fit. They basically created Nadine from Uncharted 4 all over again. And they say they wanted to create a story where the main focus is how destructive revenge is. Fine but why our beloved characters Ellie and Joel have to loose everything while Abby and Lev are not punished at all? There is no sense of justice. And if they take the nihilistic approach it is again wrong because they are not punishing all sides equally and it felt as if they did it because Abby's side was the side with the agenda characters. In a game where the story is 90% of the whole game and the story is awful the rest doesn't even matter. To me this is a 0/10, I felt spat in the face by ND after I gave them 60$ and pre-ordered the game. They said "it's not as it seems" after the leaks were out. The story was even worst than the leaks showed. Expand

The flashbacks and parts with Joel and Ellie were *amazing* and should have been used in a different order so the impact was higher.
If your major take from this game is that there are lesbians in it, you've missed the actual story, and are just homophobic. I don't care if the other character was a muscular woman either - who cares - how she was used is the issue.
    Graphics are freaking amazing!
Action and gameplay is like a refinement of the first game mixed with Uncharted and it works well.
Hard to know what's next in the game universe, or if they will end it here. Hope there is more - there is a feeling of emptiness after completing it and I want this universe's story to end on a high overall.

The Last of Us Part II is technically stunning, with some of the best graphics, environments, motion-capture performances, character animations, and set pieces ever constructed for a video game. It builds on and surpasses its predecessor (and the games of the Uncharted series) to an almost absurd degree. I can't wait to see what Naughty Dog is able to achieve technically on the PlayStation 5.

It does all of that while telling a much more nuanced and difficult story than is typical for video games, even in other compelling narrative-driven games.

The Last of Us Part II doesn't give you the illusion of choice, but it does pull you in and make you complicit in the actions of these characters. When you watch a film, it's possible to maintain a mental distance from the actions characters take. Even for a character you identify or sympathize with you remain a passive observer. You aren't allowed to do that here. You will hate some of the things these characters do, and feel disgusted by their brutality and remorselessness. You will also love the quiet periods in-between and the playful interactions between old friends, and wish those moments could last.

This is not a game that wants to satisfy you -- it wants to challenge you. Your reward is the time you spend in its magnificently damaged world and the many ways it makes you feel along its path.

Nothing created is perfect, including this game, but to me it is a masterpiece and I will cherish my relationship with it forever.

Anyway, there are some minor quirks with it like you no longer are able to store ammo in your gun to make room in your pouch, maybe if Ellie didn't hoard all these notes she could maybe store more than 2 shotgun shells in her backpack.

Story was fine at first, made sense what happened, I'm not too frustrated about that, its sad but I knew it would happen when they announced it, I never wanted a sequel to this game because this is that kind of story but here we are. Neil however then decides to question my intelligence by seeing another perspective when I already understood it, just by reading WLF notes you can see these are not the evil bandits like you encountered in the first game, these are actual people with communities like Jackson, I can sympathise with them, but Neil doesn't think that's enough. He had a good emotional thing going but then scratches it all by throwing in unnecessary extra storyline of people that are no worse or better, if anything, seeing the long extra perspective of other characters, I just ended up disliking them more than I did in the beginning.

The game suffers greatly from the massive portion of it you don't play as Ellie, so don't buy it if you want it for just that, because at LEAST a third of the game, you're not Ellie, and after finally reaching the end of that portion you get into a boss battle you wanted no part of and didn't need to be there, you could've gotten to the exact same conclusion without making you do it. The game then has problems to know when to end and feels Neil just threw in several pitched endings at went with all of them. I'd rate it higher if you played more as the character that was advertised, Ellie.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
