    Upon playing the game all previous plot and character development has been thrown out the window. Disappointed in the direction ND has taken with their IP and especially how they treated their core characters and their relationships in this instalment.

    I have finished the game to give it a fair go but to be honest I won’t be replaying it or recommending it. The only saving grace that didn’t give a score of 0 is the graphics and combat mechanics are great.

    If you want to brutally murder your memory of TLOU1 get this game otherwise save yourself the $60    … Expand

    I've managed to stay relatively leak safe because I was so looking forward to this sequel that I just couldn't care less for the bad publicity it was receiving. But after playing it I cant stand the disappointment.

    I am nothing short of disappointed. The story is terrible. I am shocked by the critic reviews giving it somewhere in the 90's, Obviously the vast majority of the professional game critics are bought by the studios now. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

    The story was horrific even though the gameplay was barely decent.
    I remember others complaining RDR2 in 2018 was behind the times. I wonder what those people think about TLOU2.

    Where to even start? The story is absolutely all over the place and manages to make either every character either unlikable or dead. The story has more holes in it than a football net. The combat has barley progressed in 7 years and most of the areas are visually stunning, the level design doesn't feel nearly as good as the 1st game. It also doesn't deserve reporters brushing off the bombing as disgruntled MRAs either, this game insulted the fanbase and they want their displeasure to be known. To me, I give it a 2 because of everything it undid for LoA1's phenomenal ending. I'd say the namely minimalist soundtrack mostly gets the job down, although it isn't quite as memorable as LoA1.

    In the end, it's ridiculous because they say that if you dislike this game, you must be an evil bigot! But no, Naughty Dog, you don't just get to say that as a shield to all criticism and shame on you for insulting our intelligence. No, gaming journalism, your protected games are not above criticism, especially the sequel to a beloved story.    … Expand

This is an amazing game, top tier game, is wonderful how you see the characters in differents points of views, it is an amazing way to go depply inside the story lane, the ending is something you think about, is a good ending, a weird one but when you play you need to put on the shoes of the characters, its a good ending on the violence cicle a magnificent game, enviroment and gameplay.

    Last of Us Part 2 is simply a masterpiece - this is undoubtedly Naughty Dog's magnum opus thus far. Dramatically improves on the original game's gameplay and tells and personal, heartfelt story. Contrary to bigoted claims of "SJW **** and "pandering", one of the relationships at the core of the game feels entirely natural and beautiful. Refreshingly willing to take risks, this game is phenomenal

    Tries way to hard and ends up succeeding at nothing. If this was the first game in there series the franchise would of been doomed to a niche audience. You'd probably enjoy watching the movie "Cats" for 25 hours more than playing this game. If you still want to know the story I'd say wait till a YouTuber puts the whole gameplay up and watch it there. It'll be free and more manageable then. Enjoy.

    The game is good technically. Great graphics. Good soundtrack. A slightly improved gameplay from the original. However, the selling point of the franchise which is story, was ruined badly. The twist is huge and it feels not logical at times. I would not recommend this game at full price. Buy it on sale with low expectation.

Me parece un juego con gran jugabilidad y gráficos, y aunque se quejen de la historia esta busca ser realista no una historia bonita, Joel tenía más que merecida la muerte ya que mato gente por su egoísmo antes que el bien común, aparte un ejemplo de que la muerte es muy natural en este juego es cuando matas a un enemigo, sus compañeros gritan, se enojan porque murió un amigo y un aliado, por lo cual buscan venganza. Los personajes de Ellie y Joel son despreciables ya que matan por su bien pero es así en ese mundo, la única forma de sobrevivir es matando, aunque digan que la muerte de Joel “no es lo que se merecía”, entonces que se merecía morir típica escena épica salvando a Ellie, no, claro que no ya que como cualquier personaje en el juego mato, robo, etc. Me pareció mucho matar a Joel así ya que es una persona ni buena ni mala, solo una persona pudo haber muerto de cualquier forma y estaría bien, por eso nos ponen en perspectiva de Abby para ver qué en ese mundo no solo hay 2 personajes o 3 o 10, sino qué hay miles y en cualquier momento pueden morir, que en cualquier momento van a dejar de seguir sus principios y van a empezar a matar, por eso este juego se me hace más realista, ya que trata temas como la venganza, que lo hace muy bien ya que todo empezó porque Joel mato a esas luciérnagas por su propio bien sin pensar en los demás, y por eso lo matan, y porque matan a Joel Ellie busca matar a los que lo mataron, exactamente eso pasaría si esta situación fuera real, el final también es bueno, aunque digan que es una mierda, ya que Ellie sabe que si mata a Abby, el niño que tenia Abby buscaría venganza, por eso el juego es bueno. La gente que no le gusto es por 2 razones, una es porque ven a Joel como un héroe un salvador y a Ellie como su compañera que siempre hacen lo correcto, pero eso no es cierto, Joel tenía más que merecida la muerte como al igual que cualquier personaje en esta saga ya que no hay buenos personajes o malos personajes, solo personajes. The entire ordeal comes off as a sickly forced waking nightmare that you cannot escape, something more fitting for a book of H.P Lovecraft's insane settings, it's just missing the eldritch monsters or maybe Neil Druckmans sex scene with the Transexual Abby is very much the Eldritch abomination just in modern day artform.

    Thank you Naughty Dog and Neil for hopefully ending your careers.

    It completely destroyed the first game's story. I don't want to speak about ending...

    Story was absolute trash. Big plot holes. Total disrespect to the characters and story of the first game. Decisions by the characters make absolutely no sense giving how the characters are portrayed. This franchise is destroyed

    Easily the best game ever made. So much character depth, gigantic levels, a masterful design and an easy and intuitive control system that is much better than the first part. A shocking story and a depressing environment and mood throughout the entire game. At this point that I played through the game I have no doubts that Naughty Dog leaked these scenes on purpose to proof a point andEasily the best game ever made.     The game is not for Marvel fans definitely. There are no good and bad people in the real world, it all comes to the perspective. Druckmann created a masterpiece, it's an emotions roller coaster.

    Bom jogo, acabei de o terminar. A história é boa, mas algumas decisões das personagens são discutíveis. Faz todo o sentido quando temos o primeiro bem presente na memória. Efeitos visuais e jogabilidade excelentes. Alguns bugs mas nada do outro mundo. Alguns momentos monótonos. Destaco pela positiva: Gráficos, emoções e ambiente, e o final.

    I don’t get why the hell everyone hates on this masterpiece, it looks beautiful the story is beautiful, the characters each have there own stories that are explored throughout the game. The ending had me almost in tears. This is a once in a lifetime game.

    you messed this one up, the only reason i bought this game is because i liked the 1st one and i appreciate the teams hardwork and would like them to get paid for their effort, not the directors and top level decision makers, neil druckmann should retire.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
