    This game is bad not bc of my political affiliation or beliefs but bc it forces a narrative that attempts to guilt me into feeling a certain way. The world is bad enough rn I don't need naughty dog to make me feel worse about things. Good graphics with forced storyline

    You are the best Naughty Dog! This is the best game I've ever played. This game is so lively that I completely immersed in it, I can not convey the full range of emotions and feelings that I experienced during the passage of this game. At some point I hated Neil Druckmann (not the game itself!), but it was a temporary feeling, because the result was amazing.

    I can say that this work can be understood by few, it consists of a very dark and serious topic for reflection. But if you are not 16 years old and have an iq of more than 10, I hope you will be able to understand and accept what is happening on the screen. As a result, the game turned out to be amazing in all its components. But even if you couldn't understand the plot, this game doesn't deserve a score of 0! We worked on it for 7 years!!! This is a Titanic work and fully justified for all these years!
    It is also a new breath of air in the gaming industry, and I am happy that Naughty Dog took such a risk and they are great fellows!

Данная игра настолько живая, что я полностью погрузился в неё, мне не передать весь спектр эмоций и чувств, которые испытал при прохождении данной игры. В какой-то момент я возненавидел Нила Дракмана (не саму игру!), но это было временное чувство, ведь итог получился потрясающим.
    Могу сказать, это произведение смогут понять не многие, оно состоит из очень мрачной и серьёзной темой для размышления. Но если вам не 16 лет и iq больше чем 10, то надеюсь, вы сможете понять и принять происходящее на экране. В итоге игра получилась потрясающей во всей её состовляющей. Но даже если вы не смогли понять сюжет, то эта игра не заслуживает оценки 0! Над ней работали 7 лет!!! Это титаническая работа и полностью оправданная за все эти годы!
    Так же это новый глоток воздуха в игровой индустрии, и я счастлив, что Naughty Dog пошли на такой риск и они, большие молодцы!    … Expand

Primero que todo el juego en gameplay es una brutalidad, y en gráficos una maravilla, pero aquí hay algo que pesa mas que ambas cosas que acabo de nombrar, que es la historia, porque si la historia no logra conectar con el jugador y lo mayor de todo es que te fuercen a querer una historia que se burla del mismo jugador, creyendo por poco que somos necios, han lucrado con un personaje (Joel) que lo mostraron en cada uno de sus trailers, cuando realmente el personaje no se puede ni jugar y no hace presencia en la historia, yo personalmente digo que este juego es una estafa a la mitad y no compren el juego es mi recomendación porque saldrán estafados por lo que se prometió, y es un problema que le mientan al jugador, al consumidor del producto, no logras ni conectar con Ellie y te fuerzan a querer otros personajes, si no pudiste conectar con Ellie, no esperes que algo más funcione en este juego.… Expand

    BEST SEQUEL GAME EVER. The visual is the best among any game has released. The story just brilliant and unpredictable. And the most important The Last of Us offer gaming experience for disabled people. Good job Naughty Dog.

    Начну с не очень хорошего. Итак The Last of Us: Part II невероятно устаревшая игра! Да, да именно так, это невероятно устаревшая геймплейно игра! Вообще это касается всех последних игр Naughty Dog, в той же Uncharted 4 догадались геймплей обновить хотя бы кошкой, в Last of Us 2 даже этого не завезли. Геймплейно это всё та же игра 2013 года.
    Выглядит она просто великолепно, ни чем не    Начну с не очень хорошего. Итак The Last of Us: Part II невероятно устаревшая игра! Да, да именно так, это невероятно устаревшая геймплейно игра! Вообще это касается всех последних игр Naughty Dog, в той же Uncharted 4 догадались геймплей обновить хотя бы кошкой, в Last of Us 2 даже этого не завезли. Геймплейно это всё та же игра 2013 года.
    Выглядит она просто великолепно, ни чем не уступая по красоте Uncharted 4. Оптимизация просто не реальная, ни одного лага, ни одного провисания фпс, ни одной мыльной текстуры лично я не заметил. И это при том, что играл я на фатке, ну шумит конечно, но это частности.
    Озвучка, лицевая анимация, моё почтение и при всём при том игра чувствуется очень устаревшей. Ни одной новой игровой механики лично я не заметил, а ведь 7 лет прошло!
    Самая большая ошибка поставивших низкие оценки, это ошибка в понимании ими названия игры. Многие видят её как The Last of Us 2, это категорически не правильно! Название игры The Last of Us: Part 2, подчеркиваю Часть 2. То есть это никакой не сиквел, это всего лишь вторая серия и не больше. И если это понять всё встанет на свои места.
    О сюжете скажу только то, что он говно!
    Всё основано на мести Элли и сраной Эбби, при том ни та не другая друг другу так и не отомстили!
    Далее спойлеры!
    Ещё меня просто выбесило, что 2/3 прохождения мы играем за это бесполое существо, без каких либо вторичных половых признаков, по имени Эбби! Она является дочкой того самого "доктора Менгеле" который убивал десятки невинных людей и чуть не убил Элли в поисках славы и вакцины в оригинальной игре. Эта тварь Эбби убила нашего любимого Джоэла, поубивала практически всех наших друзей, предала свой народ! И авторы хотят, чтобы я за неё играл? Чтоб я ей сопереживал? НЕЕЕТ!!! Удовольствие мне доставляло лишь сбрасывать её с какой нибудь скалы! При том нам не дали этой твари даже отомстить! Обалдеть! Так насрать в душу поклонникам первой части, это надо уметь!
    Теперь о ЛГБТ. На мой взгляд в игре отношения Элли и Дины напоминают вымышленные отношения в группе "Тату", и мне совершенно не мешали.
    А вот отношение к женщинам вообще, в игре ужасное. Издеваются над беременными, при том женская половина в игре ужасно не красивая. Особенно....Эбби. Когда показали сексуальную сцену с её участием, было стойкое впечатление, что совокупляются два гея.
    Вообще, на мой взгляд, кажется, что изначально эта Эбби задумывалась как мужской персонаж. И вот если бы это было так игра бы выстрелила.
    Резюмирую. Имеется очень красивая, но устаревшая игра. Из за этого кажущаяся слишком затянутой. Все переживания оригинала смыты в унитаз, да здравствует эмансипация и бесконечное блуждание...
    Да, в игре есть неплохой босс, один, но есть!
    Если бы не было The Last of Us в 2013 году, оценка была бы 9 или 10. Это как заставить поклонников Star Wars 77 - 83 годов возлюбить трилогию от Disney!    … Expand

Эта историю хочется любить и ненавидеть одновременно, потому что разработчики пошли вопреки привычным сюжетным раскладам. Беспощадное убийство любимого персонажа оригинала лишает дала речи и пропитывает тебя ненавистью также,как и Элли, но в ходе прохождения, узнавай обратную сторону медали, игра стирает прежнее восприятие и ты уже не хочешь искать виноватых, потому что виноваты все, это грустно, но очень похоже на реальность. Именно этим пронизана вся история и это прекрасно. Технически игра выполнена на высочайшем уровне, геймплейно игра мало чем отличается от первой части, но то, что было сделано, разработчики довели до идеала. Графика в игре поражает и внимание к мельчайшим деталям. Каждое здание или квартира - это маленькая история прошлого , где люди жили, общались, гуляли. Об этой игре будут говорить, ее будут превозносить и отвергать, но именно так происходит, когда на свет рождается отличное произведение. В игре есть недостатки, некоторые моменты игры затянуты и становится скучно, Дина не успевает раскрыться на фоне других героев истории. Эта игра заслуживает свои 9/10 , но я ставлю 10, потому что не хочу, чтобы та часть недалеких умов,которая ставит ноль проекту в первые часы релиза, что-то решала и отражала настоящее мнение людей, прошедших игру.… Expand

    This game is just simply yet another masterpiece of Naughty Dog. It beats you and kicks you down to the ground with the horrific event that happens at the start. But as you progress throughout the game you then understand why it happened. It both puts you in the shoes of the protagonist and the antagonist to understand both sides of the story.     I understand why people may not enjoy the story, it does slightly drag at times and the ending is going to divide a lot of people.
    However I think by the end of the game I could see the story through both of the characters eyes. I think this is great story telling. I was very happy with the ending.
    The gameplay is very much similar to the first game just more polished and refined. There is nothing more satisfying than having very little ammo left and planning your way through a bunch of Wolves or Scars.

    Everything about the game is great - living up to "Naughty Dog Quality"... except the garbage plot. Lazy pacing, horrible character intros and management, insane amounts of plot armor (Ellie should have died like 5 times but they just decide not to kill her?!), and a story that doesn't fit with the characters of the first game at all. The plot/pacing/character development are so bad thatEverything about the game is great - living up to "Naughty Dog Quality"... except the garbage plot. You could have kept all the same messages and had a much better game if you had better pacing and character development (even just moving the order of things around). Some much of the great game play is ruined by the frustration of the previous cutscene that you can't enjoy it - and to those saying hey that empty unhappy, everything was meaningless feeling you get when you finish was the goal, "the game is supposed to have that"...why would I want my video game to end like that? Sad and frustrated sure, deep meaningful tragedy is powerful - not what we got here. Try and justify the experience all you want, but I would have been happier not having the Last Of Us world ruined for me by playing this game.… Expand

Очень жаль что многие не увидели в ней ничего, кроме (стрелялки и повестки). Моё мнение, игра совсем не для детей и даже не для многих взрослых. Эта игра для людей который понимают, что такое боль, месть и жестокость. И для тех кто даже воМогу сказать, что игру ждал очень давно и ожидания были оправданы. Игра потрясает своей историей и жестокостью. Это невероятное произведение искусства. Очень жаль что многие не увидели в ней ничего, кроме (стрелялки и повестки).     I want to preface this by saying I am indifferent to the narrative that this game is pushing some sort of message. I don't care about that at all. I've played this game all the way through and want to put out my opinion.

    Its clear to me a lot of talent went in to making this. The visuals and animations are top notch. The voice acting and sound design is great. But the gameplay is forgettable at best. Still none of those elements are the reason you play Last of Us. You play, for better or worse, for the story. I think all those elements would have been better served by watching a collection of the cinematics, which you could experience for free on Youtube. I do not see any value in playing this game.

    So what do I think of the story? The story is a collection of plot devices loosely tied together with poorly written dialogue from mostly new unlikable characters. All the while making previously established likable characters into unlikable characters. The plot points, though controversial, aren't the problem. Its the execution. Its everything in between. Thinking back on the first game the only really interesting plot point comes at the end with Joel deciding to save Ellie. The rest of the game is just a road trip and a cure for the zombie apocalypse. Nothing particularly exciting or groundbreaking by itself. Its the moments in between -the character interactions- that makes the Last of Us 1's story so great. And those little moments fail here. This fails at the most critical level where the first game succeeded.

    My recommendation? Don't be like me. Don't waste the 60 dollars. Watch it on Youtube for free and be disappointed for free.    … Expand

Joel and ellie quickly became my favorite character's due to their bond that grew along the hard journey they took, fighting for eachother, the joke's they had along the way and their hardships. Last of us 2 **** on this. Not only did they kill joel within 2 hrs of playing, they gave him a gruesome death for shock value. I still kept playing though as i still had some kind of hope that it'd get better, I was soo so wrong. The ellie half i had so much fun with, i seriously thought i'd be playing as ellie the whole time. WRONG. Once they switched me to abby i about quit, i was so disgusted by the fact they forced me to play as joel's killer, i didn't know how they could do this. Not only was playing as abby i didn't give two ****s about her, they go on to force you to beat ellie to a pulp along with dina, i was so sick to my stomach, they also killed jesse for shock, they tryed so hard to paint abby as a decent person but she say's GOOD when ellie tells her dinas pregnant as she's about to slit her throat? WTF IS WRONG WITH ND. After the ellie/abby fight i just wanted it to end but they kept dragging the game ON AND ON. They than switch you to ellie again, she's finally happy with dina and baby boy but deeply broken and suffering of PTSD... Than tommy show's up, he degrades ellie to not give up on persuing abby, "this make's no fking sense" so ellie decides to later leave. Than more gameplay a small part of abby than ellies trip on finding her again. She finds her and they fight, but guess what. Ellie doesnt kill her, she let's her go! I get it but than i don't. Abby was half dead and broken that she could of killed her, but ellie see's joel and stops right after losing two fingers STILL. At that point i was completely done, i get not killing her in a way, it'd be low, but they did this part for WHAT? so ellie could finally lose everything because she fking did, she lost dina and baby boy, she lost the only thing she had left of joel due to her finger loss LIKE WTF WAS THE POINT? ND thought they had not destroyed ellie enough?! Fk ND i waited just like everyone else for this when it wasn't a needed sequel and all they did was destroy my beloved character's.. Broke them, turned them into evil people that they never were in the first game. All i got from playing this was depressed feelings and too many tears.     The leaks destroyed the intent and experience of this game. The gameplay is top notch as are the performances, graphics and writing. The story isn’t perfect but it manages to ask really interesting questions and the experience of playing this game is like nothing else that has come before. Do yourself a favor and play this game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The TLOU2 was one of my most anticipated sequels and frankly I don’t know how I feel even after 2 days of completing it, and I think that speaks volumes for the writing.

    Firstly, the gameplay/animations are so beautifully executed that it kept levels feel new and interesting and makes me want to go back and play more to try different ways to complete certain stages.
    The acting from everyone still blows me away some of the best acting I have seen in sometime.

    My favorite part of the game was the characters, I loved Ellie and Dina’s relationship and think it was very important to have that relationship for Ellie’s development, however so many characters died that when Yara was killed I felt nothing because it almost felt like a norm and didn’t carry the weight that maybe naughty dog wanted it to come across.
    The story for me was perfect up until the second half where you play as Abby where I felt like, do I really need to do this, thankfully Abby had some interesting weapons and different combat to Ellie which kept me busy, but still didn’t like it her story arc.

    One thing that threw me and I’m sure many people off guard was the sex scene between Abby and Owen, I didn’t have a problem with the scene however it added nothing to the story even if the scene was not graphic, I would feel the same way. For example, the “sex scene” between Ellie and Dina was there to establish their relationship but also made me feel like why make one scene graphic and another scene not?

    Another problem that I had with characters is that Tommy went from lock Ellie up don’t let her leave and we need to leave Abby and get back to Jackson to then making Ellie feel guilty for not completing the job. He could obviously see that Ellie was happy and safe with Dina but he still felt like he needed to make her feel the way he did. It felt like inconsistent character writing
    The end of the game seeing, Abby in that state made me feel bad? In a sense which I did not expect to happen and the boss fight between these two broken characters made me feel so uncomfortable while playing but Ellie’s decision in letting Abby live made sense to her character. But also, the flashback where Ellie said she was willing to forgive Joel, made me feel like maybe Ellie feels the same way about Abby.

    Overall, the game had some strong features however the story for me lacked near the end and left me unsatisfied but I think that’s how they were trying to make me feel and no video game has made me feel that way before.    … Expand

Los enemigos nuevos son muy inteligentes y el juego tiene muchísimos detalles increíbles que sólo disfrutarás si lo juegas con tranquilidad... , no le doy el 10 únicamente porque creo que la Historia podría haber sido mejor pero me ha encantado!

They took a gamble and in my opinion, lost that bet. Oh and the gameplay, graphics, soundtrack, audio, and actor performances were unprecedented. Really good.

    I like that they did not go with a traditional form of story telling. Instead of the typical “hero’s journey”, they did something completely different and I respect them for it. I loved the idea of a tragic ending where ultimately, no one wins. Our characters who we love give in to an emotion that we should all hate - revenge - and allow it to ruin their lives. A perfect testament to the human condition. It was not a typical feel good, story book ending. It resembled real life consequences of actions (in this case post apocalyptic).

    The negative:

    Wow, this could have been so much better. The story was in fact a let down, considering what they could have done. After listening to Neil druckman talk about it on podcasts, it sounds like they made way too many revisions from the initial base. Their original ideas actually sounded way better than the final product. Playing as Abby was great, and again, I get what they were going for but it could have been done so much better. And they definitely did crow bar in some of their social ideology. Again, I respect that, but at what point is it pandering? I love giving certain groups of people platforms of recognition and empowerment but, it felt so forced.    … Expand

Boss fights are so boring and game pace is really slow because map is huge and most dark scenes, you cant find your way w/o mini map that are main reasons to slow you down.
    So, best and wise advice. Don't buy it. You wait for 2 weeks, and then    Yes, I am so disappointed. Laggy motions, blur graphic which hurt my eyes. Most importantly, the main story line is too shallow and unreasonable.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
