    Total trash... I would say the graphics are this game’s only saving grace, but even would be a lie... At first glance the graphics look good. Upon further inspection however, you’ll find that while the game does have good animations (I’ll give it that) the GI is a baked solution, that honestly looks dated. Speaking of dated, the polygon count/detail in The Last of Us Part 2 looks like it’sTotal trash... I would say the graphics are this game’s only saving grace, but even would be a lie...     Solid 10, there hasnt been a good game realeased in forever and ONE character death shouldn’t be the judge of the entire game no matter if it was ellie, joel, tommy or even dina. Its still a good game.

    This game is far ahead of it’s predecessor. Technically it is one of the best, if not the best game of all time. The first one was there to please the whole crowd with it’s great story. It was a story which could not be hated because it was basically mainstream , but in a good way. Part 2 is much more controversial in terms of storytelling. It get’s better and better throughout playing and it has one of the most intense endscenes of all gaming for me. Music absolutely gorgeous and much darker than the first one. Fyi Mac Quayle from “Mr Robot” worked on the score too along with Gustavo. This sequel is much more creative than the first one in terms of gameplay. The fact alone, that enemies are crying for their shot friends is just terrifying to look at. Dog’s are crying too if you shoot their owner btw.. The only issue that I have with this game are some long passages throughout playing the second half of the game.

    Try this game with an open mind if you played the first one.

    One thing’s for sure. Player which did not play the first one are 100% satisfied with it.    … Expand

People who are destroying this game cause of Joel death need a life. Why do you think Ellie gets revenge? Cause they killed her dog? Lol!! It's pretty obvious why she was going to make everyone pay. Revenge is just a way to create another revenge... Abby was not wrong for revenge... and it is also not wrong for Ellie to go for revenge... at least they all paying for the price... a changing make them different however i hope theres some DLC to explore the storyline between Joel & Ellie during the first 5 years... I don't know what's happening, but my review may not last long here. Firstly, I played this game because it's a gift. I never played the first, but I watched a full playthrough of it and it was enough to make me feel hopeful. This game... does not hit the same way the first did. If you want to leave with a feeling of relief and hope for the future, don't get this game. It's not what you're expecting. The user score for this game is actually not majorly negative or positive from my experience. It's very neutral. In between. The players are very split. That's because this is a game that is not really a game for it's audience.

    The reason why The Last of Us 2 isn't as great, is because it doesn't take into account it's audience. It has a good lesson, and it's executed well, but the lesson and execution does not fit the franchise. It was not created with it's audience in mind, one of the most basic things a game creator must consider. The Audience. Naughty Dog has gotten so absorbed into all the other aspects of creating a game that it has forgotten one of the most basic elements of all. The audience. It forces you to continue on a revenge storyline, which at the end, teaches you revenge is essentially bad. Sure, this is good for people who don't know what, but you can see from people's reactions, that the other half of the audience does know it.

    The reason why those who hate it hate it so much, is because it forces people who don't like revenge, to continue on the route to see what happens to a character they love. I review it as a 3/10 not because I don't care for the other aspects that they've put into it, but because they've neglected a basic element. Do note, I am not reviewing for everyone, simply for myself. It's spaghetti without tomato sauce, some people may like it, some may not. I don't review this to tell everyone it's bad, but to warn those who think alike me.

    If you are like me, and dislike revenge and would rather not be forced to carry out revenge to get it hammered in your head that it is bad, don't play it. Even if it's a gift. You will feel extremely frustrated and tired before the first hour is out.

    If you do believe revenge isn't so bad, or playing the game to see how they teach the lesson would be nice, I recommend you play it. You may enjoy it.    … Expand

The graphics, the animation, the mechanics, everything was awesome, the story at the beginning is frustrating but while you are playing you get more and more and more excited, but it stop when you take the control of Abby, i understand the message of the game that was, no one is safe, no one has an heroic end, everybody can die at any time, and the developing of Ellie of her decisions and her thirst of revenge while you start understanding the past of Abby, and when Ellie loses everything, God, you start to reflect with yourself, it's just, Wow, there are other things that are good and bad, but honestly if you start to think clearly what you've just played, is a masterpiece, Please if you read this, take a moment to think about it and review this game what it deserves, thanks and nice done Naughty Dog… Expand

    Simplesmente Perfeito! Concordo que tem alguns furos no roteiro, porém quem está dando nota muito baixa com certeza é por ser preconceituoso e não ter gostado da morte de um personagem importante no começo do jogo, a qual pra mim deu mais peso e profundidade para a história .

    Incredible, beautiful game. THIS IS A DIFFERENT GAME THAN TLOU 1. If you go in expecting the same story, you will be disappointed. It is its own story. Sure, it has a few problems, infected enemies are still less interesting than humans, but I firmly believe it deserves a 10/10.

    I expected a more creative gameplay with more abilities but its repetitive and almost same as part 1.
    Main part and the worst part of game is story .it dosent even worth waiting this much.
    Tlou2 epilogue is the worst among Naughtydog games.it s so empty and it dosent answer any question about future.

On the contrary, the punch of the story called bad is very strong. one of the games those who say it's bad are either an xbox fan or someone who can't play the game, this game is among the best games ever

The lack of consciousness by the development team is shocking. Instead of playing a story driven game, you play a vendetta and revenge story line that lacks because of the characters surrounding you. Then, you make me not able to finish that vendetta... You ruin both characters from the first game in this disgrace of a sequel. Atrocious decisions by this development team who honesty should not work on another Naughty Dog story game ever again. The gameplay isn’t the best because you’re searching for collectibles more than playing the story most of the time which is probably why they put so many of them in the game to distract you from probably the worst writing and development of a 2nd installment ever. This game should serve as a catalyst on how to ruin one of the best video games ever made. I am honestly shocked Sony gave the green light to release this after someone read this horrible script and plot. So many flaws and horrible decisions you’ll be baffled. There were so many ways they could have built a fantastic second installment, but this game falls flat within the first hour. If you want to play a great game and don’t care about getting mad about the story it’s a good buy. The game is average and worth a buy once it’s on sale. If you’re going to get upset and break a controller, you can surmise what they did and watch the 25+ hour waste of time on YouTube or Twitch.

    The games basically take our hero's.. hero's that only killed when they were attack as a means to survive.. and spent the game vilifying them both. Their premise.. violence begets violence, is the largest hypocritical lie / double standard of the game. "Violence begets violence.. but check out this new mechanic that allow you to kill people in all these cool ways!!!" I felt as if Naughty Dog joined a cult and decided to preach at me in a language that they didn't even **** understand.. and the game ended up completely lost as a result..

    The world they introduced us to was beautiful but they managed to make me despise everyone in it. This game should have been the start of a new chapter.. equally as legendary as the first.. but what we got was a sequel as bad as "speed 2". Have seen it? There is a reason why : )

    I guess it is good that the majority of the community canceled their pre-orders (record high cancellations of the LOU2 game for Sony).. but like an idiot.. I was hoping that people were complaining about nothing. I WAS WRONG. What a joke... wait.. no.. a joke is funny. This game isn't even shell of its former glory and it is all because some dumb ass decided to try to be are parents instead of a game company CEO. Neil needs to lose his jobs for this..

    This does, however, make me appreciate the fact that they did such a good job on Red Dead Redemption 2..

    Loved the 1st game, really got me on the PlayStation game train. Game play kinda carries over, not too different from the 1st in terms of play. The graphics utilized in this game is also very well done; environments feel very swallowed by nature now compared to when you play the 1st one. Voice overs are still carried over with all the past cast seems like. The story is kinda hmmmmm initialLoved the 1st game, really got me on the PlayStation game train. Game play kinda carries over, not too different from the 1st in terms of play. The graphics utilized in this game is also very well done; environments feel very swallowed by nature now compared to when you play the 1st one. Voice overs are still carried over with all the past cast seems like. The story is kinda hmmmmm initial hours are pretty crazy and will have you sad, maybe. I was sad. From what I've played so far its not exactly a game you have to drop or anything you can play to at least see what Ellie does towards the end.

This is the first game in my lifetime where, knowing what DOES happen far from spoils it. It made me laugh, cry rivers. It is STILL THIS POWERFUL, after somebody had tried to destroy it!     A vengeance story done bad. Storyline repeats itself and completely misses the point. Other than that the atmosphere, graphics, cinematics and editing are top notch.
    ps: If this game was an interlude of some sort, or a prequel/sequel some far off timeline with different characters, ppl would embrace this game with open arms.

    If you just play it you'll come to the conclusion that it is an awesome and amazing game. It has a great story that is gripping and gut wrenching. The gun play is excellent. You really get a sense of the weight and power a gun/weapon has within the game. The enemy AI is astonishing. Enemies will flank you and hunt you down. There's nowhere to hide. The graphics and physics are off theIf you just play it you'll come to the conclusion that it is an awesome and amazing game. It has a great story that is gripping and gut wrenching. There's nowhere to hide. The graphics and physics are off the charts. There is so much attention to detail within the world that it is at times mesmerizing. Best graphics of this generation I'd say. Simply stated, the game is worthy of the 10s that its received across the board.

    Don't listen to the people trying to hide their political and intolerant views by trying to disguise it with fake takes and opinions on how the game is.

    It's clearly obvious that there is an effort to tank the game by a certain group of people. A game with this much production value, careful detail and effort couldn't be further from the zeroes and ones that it is receiving. They most likely read the story and inferred from credible reviews to appear as if they know what the game is about.

    I was never so disappointed with a game as I am with The Last of Us Part ii. The game falls flat on the face in the story department and as the story is what the game is all about therefore I don't recommend it to anyone who cares about characters! The waste of money in comparison to the first part.

I like the third act now and i understand why i didn’t while i was playing it, it’s not meant to be something enjoyable and fun, which most of the game is, even though you’re facing moral dilemmas throughout the entirety of it. The spectacular graphics and playability contribute to make this game a 10/10 for me, i’m definitely replaying it soon. Now, that’s my opinion, maybe you disagree with me and you hate this game and that’s ok. But the overwhelming hate towards this game in just a few hours after it’s release is not fair and not realistic.… Expand

    Imagine if those leaks never happened. Players would concentrate on the whole story, without specifying certain moments. No one would play the game with leaked scenes in mind. Just try to perceive the story as a chunk, not in pieces. Maybe THEN you will understand.

    You know how they say someone with the personality of a 3 but the looks of a 10 is still a 3? I feel like that's a pretty good analogy for this game. It looks amazing, but the story is awful. It just goes to show you can't add gay characters to a game and then just deflect all the criticism you get as "anti-sjw."

    The visuals in this game are magnificent. It's sad that they build up such a masterpiece in the first game but they decided to threw it away with this **** sequel. I hope this teaches Naughty dog a lesson on how not to treat their fans by trying to go "edgy".

    Very preachy and politically driven narrative. Secondly, there's some serious bait and switch tactics going on here. Also, what's with the clunky gameplay? Didn't they learn anything from RDR2's criticisms where gameplay took a back seat to animations? TLOU2 clearly has paid off review scores, and I even heard that they may start censoring user reviews. This is unacceptable.

The graphics are incredible and the gameplay is slightly better than the previous with new additions to help your survivability, but the story is the equivalent of a car crash. I saw all of the leaks before release and still thought that there was a chance that playing would change the context and perspective and I was correct. It changed it so negatively that I couldn’t look away as one of my favorite franchises was butchered before my eyes. Neil Druckmann stated that this game is about hate and I fully understand that now. I hated the game being leaked, I hate the direction they took the story, I hate the character decisions that seemed out of place, I hate the reviewers giving mysterious positive reviews claiming it’s a masterpiece and I hate myself for buying this game. One point for graphics and another for gameplay. Nothing else deserved it. Also, what kind of revenge story (which is played out already) ends with no revenge for the main character? Really hurts to give this game such a bad rating considering the fact that I truly loved the predecessor and was looking forward to this one just to be utterly disappointed.

    The game and its history make no sense at all. And that has nothing to do with the character being LGBT or not. What can we say about a game that transforms the first and main character, into a silly person who easily believes in anyone? And also, what about a game that turns the main story of the infected, into a war of revenge that makes you kill 30 million people and in the end not to kill the only character you wanted to kill. At a time when Sony censored Japanese games with an anime style that dares to expose midriffs, here they are fully happy to endorse nonconsensual sex and torture that should really give this game an Adult rating. The puzzle elements and set piece encounters that made the first installment so memorable are gone. Replaced with the opportunity to kill doggos as graphically as possible. Я всячески избегал спойлеров, а рекламная компания игры выставлялась так, что Элли и Джоэл отправляются вместе, что бы отомстить. А в итоге играешь за Элли и почитав отзывы других игроков, что ты вторую половину игры будешь ещё и Эбби играть, да меня после этого так взбесило, что я диск порезал, что бы не возвращаться к данной игре. Я бы простил и нетрадиционные отношения какие разработкчики показывают в игре, трансгендеров пофигу. Но с Джоэл"ем вы палку перегнули, в первой части игры меня затянуло, как развивался сюжет и отношения Джоэл"я к Элли, тот отец, что потерял дочь получил второй шанс и пошел на всё, что бы её спасти. В части 2 хотелось увидеть, то продолжение этих отношений, а вы же все чувства убили в самом начале, да ещё "Якобы" что бы понять, что чувствовала Эбби и как она шла свой путь даёте за неё играть, за персонажа, который убил любимого героя и я так понимаю не только мне он запал в душу. К геймплею и графике вообще вопросов нет, я смотрел на телик и у меня глаза просто наслаждались картинкой, но то каким путём пошли ВЫ разработчики в сюжете меня просто убило. Возможно мой отзыв и никто читать не будет, но хотелось бы сказать разработчикам: Лично я играю в игры, что бы убежать от того, что творится в мире и может игры не всегда заканчиваются не так как мы хотим, НО не надо тащить в игры тот весь ужас, что у нас происходит на данный момент.
