    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The combat and weapons system carries over well from the first game, but definitely harder to stealth through this one. It's been said many times, but the story isn't just uninspiring, it's infuriating. To see Joel killed so early on just took the wind out of me. Then I'm expected to play as Joel's killer for about ten hours halfway through the game. The more I played with her, the more I couldn't wait to see Ellie bury a hatchet in her forehead. It was impossible to feel empathy for her, even if her mad scientist dad bought it from Joel. And the cherry on top, right when we're about to get the payoff and see her die (really the plot point driving the whole game), we let her go. I was baffled beyond belief... flummoxed you might even say. Every time the story should have zigged, it zagged. It's like a cruel joke seven years in the making. People from ND need to explain this better (which, like playing as Abby, will never be satisfactory).… Expand

    To me it’s a shame that all this talent was wasted with a story I don’t think it had to be told.     To me it’s a shame that all this talent was wasted with a story I don’t think it had to be told. I have to give them credit for taking risks, and cranking the intensity up to 11, but the gamble doesn’t pay off. It uses the original story as a springboard, strangely not understanding what made it special, and why its bittersweet open ending worked so well. It’s a bleak story, poorly paced, reeking of self importance and not meant to be enjoyable.

    As I said, there’s a lot of talent in this game, and it has its moments. I think the 10/10 reviews are as bad as the 0/10 reviews, both are toxic overreactions. In the end, it only matters if you liked it or not. I personally, did not.    … Expand

    I have played the game for second (third time now, almost 65 hours of gameplay) time now in survivor+, my first vote for this game was a 4... and now i think it deserves a 8 (and now a **** 10...), not my favorite end for sure, but i understand now so much better the abbys and lev character, the similitudes with Joel and ellie are a lot of.... its a good end? yes, but we need a part 3, weI have played the game for second (third time now, almost 65 hours of gameplay) time now in survivor+, my first vote for this game was a 4... and now i think it deserves a 8 (and now a **** 10...), not my favorite end for sure, but i understand now so much better the abbys and lev character, the similitudes with Joel and ellie are a lot of.... its a good end? yes, but we need a part 3, we need to end the immunity of Ellie in some way...

    I find it hard to believe that a game this perfect, both on a technical and on an emotional level, will ever be made again. This is the experience of a lifetime. I will never forget this.

Its hard to put on words but i understand what the creators intended to potray with the story. In the end even though i didnt like Abby i sure was not okey with Ellies desicions so i tried to let her kill me. Its interesting to feel this switch of perspective. I wad hoping for that ending and got it in a more cruel but real way. Anyhow, even if u hate the story and what they did to Joel this game doenst deserve a 0 at all. Game mechanics and art are amazing so from someone that didnt enjoy it genuenly a 5 or 6 would be understandable.… Expand

    On the gameplay front, as you’d expect it’s quite similar to the original game. You move from area to area avoiding or getting into conflict with the infected or human enemies. It’s down to you how you wish to proceed, stealth or guns blazing. But stealth is usually the preferred option to at least thin the number of enemies before you open fire. Resources are scarce so it’s not like you ever have lots of ammo to go all Rambo like. However, the gameplay mechanics are without doubt a step up from the original. Everything feels much more dynamic. Everything flows really well. It might sound strange to say but when you are running in this game you really feel like you are running for your life. Run, crawl under a desk, take cover behind a concrete pillar, flank your enemy, and dispatch! It’s all very seamless and hangs together beautifully. But that is not as easy as it sounds, as the human enemy AI is quite clever. They WILL flank you if you stay in one place for more than 30 seconds or so. The attention to detail is honestly amazing, probably the best I’ve ever seen. You can really see the care and effort that has gone into this game. Shoot someone in the head and they will go down as you’d expect and the blood spatter pattern would be as you’d expect.

    Graphically there is not much to say here other than as you’d expect from a Naughty Dog game it’s up there with the very best, quite possibly the very best. It’s just a beautiful game. The sound design is phenomenal too. Guns sound and feel deadly when fired, and the in game music is top class. When graphics and sound this good are combined what you end up with is some of the best atmosphere setting in a game ever. One of my personal favourite sections was playing through the pitch black hospital at ‘ground zero’, I felt terrified the whole time. It was on par with how well the Resident Evil 2 remake sets the atmosphere. Bear in mind TLOU2 is not actually a survival horror game, yet it can compete with dedicated survival horror games due to its amazing ability to set atmosphere.

    Contrary to many (incorrect) beliefs, the game is NOT pushing an agenda. It’s simply a story about revenge and the lengths we as humans are willing to go to get it. It’s a story about flipping perspectives and giving the player the opportunity to see both sides of the coin. In doing that you as the player actually bond with characters on both sides of the argument. And this is why it is so clever – because you bond with both Ellie and Abby, you become totally conflicted about the actions both of them take for each of their causes. The story is in my opinion brilliant. It could have been another jaunt through the world of the infected with Ellie and Joel but Naughty Dog made some bold decisions and chose to do something completely different – and it paid off. In parts it’s truly shocking, but I like that it shocked me. I had my hand over my mouth on many occasions – I can’t remember a game that made me react like that before.

    I really only had ONE issue with the game, and that is sometimes the pace can be slow somewhat due to the large areas you spend time looting (although this isn’t actually forced and entirely down to you if you want to do it or not). However, the game would suck me back in again quickly with a defining story moment.

    I can’t wait to fire up New Game+ on Hard+ mode just to experience this masterpiece again, but I’m going to put it down for now and give myself time to recover from being emotionally taxed for 30 hours. There wasn’t a single night I didn’t play this game since its release on 28th June. I’m truly exhausted.

    I’ll end by saying this is one of the best video games ever made. If you are at all interested in video games this is a must play, no doubt. Masterpiece

    Next level storytelling, and brutally emotional ride. It's not just a game, it's a masterpiece of storytelling and immersion. It elevates the first part and dives deeper into this world. I was shocked seeing the amount of hate this game received, so I expected to be bad, but I was very wrong. GOTY for me. Naughty Dog serves excellence once again.

    There are an incredible number of reviews posted ON launch day complaining about the story - which is amazing considering you need AT LEAST 30 hours to play the game properly to the end (that would be more than a day if you're counting).

    Please play the game with an open mind about the story!     The Last of Us Part 2 made me cry twice. I dont cry when I play videogames, and have not cried in years. Playing the first game is an absolute must before playing this one. #TheLastofUsPartII  is something special. Game of the year, game if the decade, and better than the first!

    story gets a lot of flack but feels both in line with the original and bold in how it pushes out in new directions. gameplay is much improved over the first. accessibility options are huge, and let me fine tune exactly how i wanted to play. it was intense, it was exhausting, it was...confrontational, yes, but i've honestly never experienced anything like it.

    This game is marvelous in every way. The masterful storytelling, the next-gen like graphics, the incredible sound effect and the supreme gameplay. Every aspect of the game is out of this world. The last of us part II is truly a well deserved sequel to the legendary the last of us

    I don’t care for this series anymore and after finishing the story I will never return to this game. It is way too depressing and dragged out.

    Save yourself the heartbreak and don’t start this game. Garbage story, but the dumpster fire doesn’t start until you’re in pretty deep. Being forced to play as Abby (the antagonist) for 10-15 hours is beyond dumb. Zero stakes. Zero empathy. Apparently, zero understanding of the basic tenets of storytelling. Despite my undying love for TLoU#1, this is a DNF for me.

    Let's start with the good things: I actually kinda liked the stealth kinda gameplay and the fights. The graphics were absolutely astonishing, it was visually just stunning. The few Joel & Ellie parts were so sweet & wholesome and it got me very invested. Absolutely loved that.
    SPOILER ALERT:
    But now it begins. I mostly play a game for the good STORY. And this game had a very bad way of storytelling. First it kills off Joel in an absolute disrespectful way with a guy spitting on his dead corpse. Than you go on a revenge quest killing everyone in your way be it a kid, a dog or pregnant ladies. And than you switch to play Abby.... Nobody wanted to play as the killer of Joel. Please do it before the Tiger Woods scene to know her background better. To empathize for her more beforehand. During the end it would have been nice to choose your outcome, but she killed everyone but the target. The reaction to certain situations also didn't really make sense to me. Everything just felt really pointless and left you tired. You do not care anymore.

    Unfortunately all the side characters were really bland with political propaganda forced onto them,.
    And if you like a side character somewhat, they will die an unnecessary death.

    Luckily I didn't spend money on this, but could borrow it from a friend. But I would not recommend spending money on it.

    I can't imagine waiting 8 years for this game and than getting spit on by Neil Druckmann to his own fans. Absolute disappointment.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Wow was my expectation subverted. Looks beautiful, great music and voice acting. Same tense yet stodgy gameplay seven years on. You can now dodge, jump and crawl. Very very poor story and treatment of Ellie and Joel. The character growth and story were the strongpoint of the first game but this time round;
    Ellie gets broken, develops PTSD and a twitch, loses everything;
    Joel, who could smell an ambush in the first game, walks into an ambush, with no gun and tells everyone his name, dies a pointless death of plot contrivance.
    Abby (and her freakish arms, who took ALL the steroids? Abby did, Abby took ALL the steroids in Cordyceps world) is an **** and a psychopath, kills her WLF friends and comrades for Lev/Lilly, someone she just met.
    Tommy, who founded Jackson in a post apoplectic wilderness, gets emasculated; encounters Abby 3 times, gets 1.knocked out, 2. punched thru a barrier and 3.shot in the head. He ends up divorced with a limp and a twitch.
    I connected with Owen, Abby's ex, who was ready to leave all the killing and his pregnant girlfriend behind but still wanted weird angry sex with Abby and her enormous arms. (She reminded me of an East German shot putter. One for the kids there)
    Everyone else is killed, often brutally, except Abby, who Ellie should have but didn't. No development, no growth, no redemption, no questions, just violent death after death and no remorse. Two spoilt orphan girls with Daddy issues making dozens and dozens of other orphans. Mr Druckman, you're not as smart as you like to think you are. I will not be buying anything that you are associated with in the future. The big lesson is not revenge is bad, m,kay, but rather don't take your fanbase for granted to push a social agenda. I'm looking at you Star Wars, Doctor Who, Harley Quinn, Terminator Dark nonsense etc etc etc......
    And as for revenge stories; Bladerunner, Red Dead Redemption, Conan the Barbarian, Carrie, the Illiad by Homer, Hamlet, The Count of Monte Cristo, Zorro, Oldboy, Fists of Death, Sin City, Kill Bill, The Gladiator, True Grit, The Princess Bride, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, Metal Gear Solid 5, Dishonoured, Assassins Creed 2, Max Payne, Legacy of Cain, God of War (2005), Revenant, The Darkness, Death Wish (all of them, the clues in the title), John Wick 1, 2, and probably 3, Django Unchained, Unforgiven, Get Carter, Mad Max, Taken, Desperado, Gangs of New York, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and Pale Rider (one of my favourites). How is this story a masterpiece? I felt empathy with all the wronged, none tried to cheaply manipulate my emotions to empathise with the killer and most had a clear resolution i.e. Roy clearly sees the value of life when he saves Deckard. It's all been done before, a lot better.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Exquisite gameplay, ALL its technical points, level design, scenarios, battles, diversity of situations (stealth, melee, shooter, sniper, survival) and artistic aspects, EVERYTHING borders on perfection.

    At the historical level, where there is controversy, PART II fixes part I. Last of Us closed with a message that must have tormented Neil Druckman: cold-blooded killing of unarmed doctors and nurses.

    This is not Abby's or Ellie's game, it is the PLAYER's game, which leads to a greater understanding of the human race, the concept of the enemy, of the conflicts between communities to establish their myths and rules. The pity that if they have not achieved it with the majority of the players, there is little hope for this humanity, that only greed moves us, the thirst for revenge, and that there is only one me or them. With me or against me.

    (SPOILERS)
    Part II is a player's journey to a broader understanding for the player that in real life there are no extreme villains or heroes, everything is degrees (linked to the superheroes cards collection in the journey) therefore Abby is not a classic villain role, Abby has suffered that someone KILLED HER FATHER in cold blood. She must fulfilled this evil growing inside her with revenge. Although she completed her revenge, this one later torments her guiding her to the redemption of Lev and her sister's rescue - a great character Lev -, and she ends up hanging in penance. Ellie achieves her revenge too when she is drowning Abby, Joel appears in her mind and looks at her as if saying "stop" (a traffic sign that is constantly repeated throughout the streets of Seattle).     Es un juego increíble, sus gráficos, su jugabilidad, su historia, su narrativa, su música. No es fácil de digerir su historia ya que toca temas sensibles para muchas personas, pero The Last Of US 2 es un juego que innova en esta industria con narrativas que no se ven todos los años.

    Whoever signed that should get fired cause he was seriously only looking for cheap money grap.
    Maybe even watched too much ST Picard. Refund and never buy a game from them again.

    Don't believe the critic reviews. Bought and paid for or too scared to go against Sony. Golfing plotline aside, the combat is updated but everything is sub par when compared to the first one. Save your money.

    Не совсем понимаю откуда столько хейта к концовке. Закончилось не так как хотелось бы многим, опять люди не могут принять видение автора. Есть такое понятие как серая мораль, когда границы положительных и отрицательных персонажей размываются, а не являются карикатурными и клишированными. Что касается левацкой повесточки с лгбт и прочей темой, там все каноны соблюдены, в виде бабыНе совсем понимаю откуда столько хейта к концовке.     Из белых основных персонажей мужского пола там наверное только три) и то третий второстепенный, тем не менее всё гармонично вплетено и не вызывает отторжения, оно воспринимается как данность и не ощущается чужеродным. Геймплей немного прокачали со времен первой части, графика как всегда великолепна, с огромным количеством деталей, некоторые из которых даже не замечаются, но отлично работают на общее погружение.
    В целом мне первая часть понравилась больше, тем не менее это достойное продолжение достойной игры. Бесспорно игра года.    … Expand

This is not a simple game with a beautiful gameplay and a beautiful, extremely sad story, it’s the representation of the how powerful the videogame could be. Naughty Dog had courage, but if you want to enjoy it, you need to understand that you are playing a character who do not represent what YOU want, that character has his own opinions, his own morality and his own experiences. Remember to play it with an open mind, this is not probably the classic story you want to be told, it’s the REAL story that had to be told.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Honestly, to actually use this plot to the sequel of an all-time-classic game is very, very bold. Players have high expectation for this sequel, they will only be happy with whatever experience TLoU1 brought to them. But still ND let Joel died early on, let you play the murderer of Joel as second protagonist. Obviously ND would like to make a point even fully aware of its cost, and I do admire their courage. I've read the reviews, haters, supporters and critics, I would still recommend this game whatever you say.

    Expectedly, ND presented best graphics in gaming so far, with stunning artwork and design, plus runs smoothly in PS4 pro. The details of the world, stories in those little notes, graffitis, destroyed modern city sets, are truly masterpiece. Sound effect is amazing with incredible details in this game, if you notice you'll be amazed.

    Gameplay is largely the same with 1, which isn't really good or bad. The battles gradually become repetitive and uninviting in my opinion, looks to me they are mostly for the purpose of supporting a 25 hour benchmark.

    OK then the story, it shared the same issue with 1, and all other ND games - a lot of the smaller drama seems exaggerated or pushed, like watching a 7-scored US tv drama. There are choices that people in real world people normally wouldn't make, and hence emotions that couldn't resonate with players. However, I think what's admirable here is that, like all good stories, the storyteller attempted to convey something bigger than the story itself, in this aspect TLoU2 did a good job. The story dived deeply into the discussion of how different opinions among humans easily turns into fights and massacres, even among those with a kind heart, or with good intentions. The 2 protagonists share the same regarding where they came from (revenge), had fierce fights, killed each others' loved ones, fought to near death for both, and eventually letting each other go. This revelation, despite the plot holes in order to achieve it, is heroic.

    Sadly it's hard to balance everything with one story, we did lose consistent character arcs for almost all characters (some moments between Ellie and Joel is still touching), empty new characters, and insufficient explanation for players who are expecting what will happen for the world in the game. I agree with many other reviews that Abby, being both the bad person and the secondary protagonist, needs way more backstory - however also not an easy thing though. So, I think it's already a decent balance of what the director wanted to say and deliver a consistent and convincing story.    … Expand

    Second, the pacing of the game is bad. Very bad. Even the story is boring and stupid, the game should last 20 hours max. However, it lasted 30 hours. You should expect a lot of filler content. Another problme enlarged by the pacing is the map design. Sure, the map looks great, but I got lost all the freaking time. This is something never happen in 1.
    Third, the story. In short, the story sucks, No matter you played 1 or not. At least, Abby's story should be in front of Ellies. Even that's still bad story. In this story, all the character in this game are insane.
    Joey, Ellie, Tommy, and Abby. All of thos character would do things out of the character all the time. Ellie and Abby are the worst. They are both unlikable, Abby is just ugly, unhumanly ugly, and ruthless or should I say evil?
    Four, camera swtiching. The camera swiching is bad and stupid. As a player, you will be forced into another storyline then memory of that story line multiple time. They are both boring and stupid, made the game's pacing very bad. Another problem caused by the camera switching is that, the emotion player build up during the gameplay, has nowhere to go. Very uncomfortable.
    Five, the story teller is mixing a lot things I like in this game, that don't make sense. Dina, Ellie's girlfriend is a gay. Even I don't mind gay, the way the game showed their love is, boring to be least and stupid. One of the story, they just found a weed house, then started to smoke weed and having sex. If you think that's bad, you are wrong. Dina is a likable person, but she has no real purpose in this story. So does Jesse. They are helping Ellie to revenge. What made it worse is that, Jessie is Dina's ex boyfriend, they break up 1 week ago. So Dina is pregranent of Jessie's child. Sorry, I don't really want to discuss this part anymore, too disgusting. However, Abby's friend Owen and Mel, they share similar relation as Elllie, Jessie and Dina.
    You see, in 1, Joel and Eillie are the main hero. Since Joel did a lot of bad things, so it make sense he die some way. But not in this way. However, the director promised Eillie will be the only character we can play. The final game let you play Eille, then force you play a evil, ugly, unlikable charadcter, Abby, while killing Joel in the 2 hours of the game.    … Expand

    The Last of us part 2 is superior to the original game in every possible way. I played part I and I really enjoyed it, but in comparison to part II, it just feels "inferior". I have now finally platinumed Part II and I sincerely hope that a part III will come ot life. Naughty Dog did make a masterpiece of a game

    This game is a masterpiece, I'm very sorry for all the people that are criticizing it and didnt even play it. It's a beautiful story about humaniy, it's complex and filled with real emotions. People are just mad cause its not the story they wanted. Amazing game, if you are intelligent enough to understand it.

    About the game, this is the opinion of a guy who played everything since he discovered videogames, and a guy who has never been a huge fan of the first chapter. In this case I can't but admit that TLOU Part 2 is one of the greatest masterpiece in the history of the medium. The screenplay is a magestic work of characterization, developing this double pursue, a double tale of revenge. But if you really understand the game, you won't find a revenge story. You'll find the best sequel ever made to a game, and Naughty Dog made some of the most extreme choices towards the public and the mythology of the game. The result is an enormous tale-of-doubles which developes the great lie which closed the first chapter in an incredibile whirlpool of violence and brutality.

    The gameplay is a continuous and total integration with the awesome scenarios that have been realized in the best graphic level ever seen on ps4. The gameplay of tlou has been renewed in its rhythm, often ripetiteve and sometimes a bit woody. Tlou offers a range of genres and situations, and some of them are already game history. The level with the sniper or the sequence on Serafites' Island are nothing but works of videloudic art.

    Surely it was inspired by the operas of the genre, especially MGS 4, but it founds its own identity in those hard choices ND took. When you discover that after 15 hours of progression with Allie your adventure is gone and you restart with her nemesis who killed the beloved Joel, you'll need time to accept this. But it's not a punishment against player, it's a new pact with the player, who will live actually an experience, not a game. And when the true finale comes, the picture is complete, Joel is not the one who inspires revenge, but the man who condemned Allie saving her. So she is not looking for vengeance, but she's trying to overcome hatreness against that friend-father.

    Yes, TLOU totally overwrites the first chapter, but this is nothing but an incredibile pivot point in ND philosophy. It's a matter of faith, and everyone should overcome his preconceptions to embrace this masterpiece, which completed the path that Death Stranding seemed to have completed.     I personally loved the game. A few narrative choices may not have been my favorite, but as a whole package, this game was an amazing experience for me. A lot of the hate it's recieving is pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Calling it trash and rating it a zero just seems a bit melodramatic.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Honestly, I don't even know where to start with this game. I guess I understand why teh critics praised this game in the first place, and now you have people behaving furiously and leaving a negative review for a good reason.
    People are mad because what they've done with the story in this sequel. If this was a new IP, if this had nothing to do with The last of us in general, I think people might love this game for its interesting approach and never-seen-before content, I'd say now.
    But since this is a direct sequel to one of the, if not the best video-game of all time, or shall I just say "masterpiece" of a game, then you need to understand why thousand and thousand of people are extremely disappointed. Upset. Sad, even depressive.
    The graphics, the deep details, the environments, the cutscenes, everything looks top notch. Top quality. It seriously doesn't get any better than this.
    I think Naughty Dog has done a marvelous job regarding this job, my hat goes off to them, but it doesn't mean anything if the story is really, really bad which it is. Sadly it is. It's so bad it actually makes Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 looks like it's Ocarina of Time. It's just how bad the plot, the packing is. And this constantly switching to characters and the flashback scenes between Ellie and Joel.
    There's this one scene when Joel surprises Ellie for her birthday, where he took her to a Dinosaur museum. Just imagine how absolutely astonishing this sequel would've been if the focus was on Ellie and Joel with a whole different story.
    I don't mind Abby being there, what I do mind is ND pushing their political agenda in this game.
    If you loved The Last Jedi, Game of Thrones season 8, there's a big chance that you're going to appreciate this game.
    However, if you loved everything about the first The last of us, then there is no chance you are going to love, let even alone to "like" this game at all. Unless you buy everything ND related, then that's your own choice.
    However, I'm giving this game a 2 out of 10 just because of the beautiful graphics.
    The rest is just a sad, depressing, dark world of a video-game where it's forcing the player to do sadistic things. It's a nihilistic game.
    Save your 60$ and get Ghost of Tsushima instead.    … Expand

The fact that they bastardize and retcon the story from TLOU1 in INEXCUSABLE. Characters completely forget the knowledge they display in the first game, then through plot induced stupidity, act completely out of character. Both Ellie and Joel are victims of this heinous betrayal of common sense.

    At no point did i feel sympathy towards Abby and every time I had to play as her I rushed as much as possible to get to Ellie, even though she continues to do more and more out of character actions.

    For a game that constantly beats the concept of "REVENGE/MURDER IS BAD" and then FORCES you to murder people without any choice is not excusable.

    On top of it, the game trailers and promises from the dev's are NO WHERE to be found. We were told that you would not have to harm an animal yet, you kills dogs like they were fodder. Scenes showing Joel were ripped out of the game and replaced with another disposable male character (Jesse) whom also gets killed off.

    While the gameplay is fun, the story makes the game a complete chore. If you skip the cut scenes and any lore, it makes the game even worse and you are constantly reminded of the garbage you are playing.    … Expand

    Looks amazing, but is actually a complete insult to the franchise. Wanna play a good post apocalyptic zombie thriller that doesn't shove SJW politics down your throat? Play the first game - don't buy this.

When the creative pillars of your game studio, namely Amy Hennig and Bruce Straley, resign and then 70% of your senior staff follow shortly afterwards, then your company is essentially dead in all but name only. ND has been dead for years. We just have a hard time letting go because, like Joel with Sara, the pain is just too much. RIP ND. I honestly don't think that any videogame deserves such a bad score for things that really don't care, such as political or ethnical matters. При прохождении я думал это идеальная игра , но посмотрев обзоры я был вынужден согласится с некоторыми проблемами сюжета. Точнее проблемы его структурной части. Unfortunately, The Last of Us is a story driven game and this story was just not very good. It does a major disservice to the fans who waited a long 7 years for a new adventure with their beloved characters and it's just not what we got, especially after what misleading advertisement would have told us otherwise. For the ones that loved the game that is awesome, but for the ones who feel cheated, it just is not a great game. I didn't hate the game but i would never recommend it to anyone. I think ND has lost their way and is out of touch with what the fan base wants and expects, i'll be extremely skeptical of anything else that has their name attached to it.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
