    No es tan malo como todos dicen y para aquellos que le dan una mala puntuación solo por la muerte de Joel y no has jugado el juego quita tu opinión solo haces que las personas lo odien o que la gente ya no quiera comprarlo, la verdad lo recomiendo el juego es bastante bueno y no me considero un fan solo lo jugué porque mi papa es fan.

    Playing this game after all the hype has died down, i can say that the last of us 2 is a good game. The combat is fun and the atmosphere and exploration is phenomenal. The graphics and overall quality is the best in the industry. What can i say, i liked it and thought it was an extremely interesting, albeit kindof strange game with fantastic production values and fun gameplay.… Expand

    Superb game with excellent gameplay, which surprisingly was even better than the first instalment. Graphics are awesome. Storyline is great, although I wanted to play the part of Joel more - having been through part I all the way with him. My only gripe was that I wanted Ellie to beat the hell out of Abby, but I couldn't advance the storyline when this happened!

    Last of us 2 has one of the best gameplay mechanics, level design and atmosphere in any game I've played in recent years. When you play it, you will just feel it like it is real. The thrill, the action, the survival! Everyhing is there.

    Now the story is good, sometimes really good but most of the time executed bad. Game is trying to make you look both sides of a vegenance (which is    Last of us 2 has one of the best gameplay mechanics, level design and atmosphere in any game I've played in recent years. When you play it, you will just feel it like it is real. The thrill, the action, the survival! Everyhing is there.

    Now the story is good, sometimes really good but most of the time executed bad. Game is trying to make you look both sides of a vegenance (which is creative on paper) and it will try make you feel bad about the choices that your character makes. However because of how long it is, after the hours pass (after the previous choice), it wont matter, you wont even feel a thing. There is was this one part when I should feel sad when something happened to a character I loved, but game progressed so fast that I even didnt have second for it. And the memory of the character got dumped.

    The amount of hate this game is getting is really silly at this point, I get that people don't like some writing decisions in this sequel, but there's no reason to trash the game because of it, they made some bold choices, and it all worked for me.

    The parallelism, intertwined with the cinematographic techniques Naughty Dog uses to deepen its commentary on themes such as revenge, guilt, violence, and forgiveness are groundbreaking, and the utilization of these techniques helps the game reach a high bar of nuance and complexity, rendering it worthy of analysis. The game’s great writing and direction are supplemented by the performances of the main cast to really make the game come to life, and the soundtrack greatly amplifies the game’s emotional impact. Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey’s superb performances as Ellie and Abby, respectively, are also enhanced by Naughty Dog’s technical achievement in fluid facial animation. From a technical perspective, TLOU2 is irrefutably a masterpiece.

    The gameplay feels realistic due to the game’s great animation and realistic enemy AI, and if the game were shorter, I feel that the gameplay would not have grown somewhat stale by the end. As a whole, I felt poor pacing sometimes bogged down an otherwise great narratively driven experience.

    Without spoiling anything, there were a few, rare moments that didn’t land well for me in the narrative, but for the most part these moments were necessary evils in delivering this kind of story. I also wish some of the new cast of characters were more fully fleshed out. These complaints, however, are minor in the context of a game that otherwise blew me away, and risk-taking should be encouraged in any medium.    … Expand

    what a great game. i personally dont think it deserved game of the year but i digress. it needed to explain itself in a few parts. and i have a weird feeling that this wasnt the original storyline they had planned. more like they catered to the sensitive/"woke" crowd

    I honestly don't know why the fan base is so negative about this game. It has good graphics, good story, good everything. I'm confused why they hate it so much. Sure it had backlash due to many delays, but I didn't expect it to be this much when the game released.

    Great story, ambivalent, realistic, very cinematic feeling. Gameplay is the same as in tlou1, no surprises there, but if you liked part 1 you will have satisfying hours playing part 2.

Some of characters dies too suddenly. Music as good as can be. I also didn't understand the ending when Elly let Abby to go. As for me it was too taut and vague. Of course it was made to continue story but c'mon. Also want to say that without lgbt propaganda the game can be much better because transgender kid - the last thing I want to see in serious story. But at all game is very good. Highly recommended to play immediately… Expand

That sucks, but i think a lot of people say that the game is bad just because of joel’s death. Like, they dont even want to look at the goodies in this game.     Hru jsem dohrál na ps4pro za 23 hodin. Zážitek kterej si hodlám v budoucnu zopakovat.
    Hratelnost - celý úvod mi trvalo než jsem si ja osobně zvuk na ovládání, ale to je strašně individuální. Jinak po zbytek hry paráda. 10/10
    Grafika - Jediný co mi přišlo vtipný a všiml jsem si až ke konci je, že když posvícení baterkou, tak ta textura je jakoby o 1mm posunutá. Pokud se na to nezaměříte,    Hru jsem dohrál na ps4pro za 23 hodin. Zážitek kterej si hodlám v budoucnu zopakovat.

    One of -- if not the -- best gameplay experiences I've ever had. I enjoy games pretty casually; rarely getting too absorbed in them. It's unusual for me to think about a game outside of when playing it. However, with The Last of Us Pt. II, I woke up every day anxious to start playing and was happy to spend all my free time with it. It stayed with me when not playing it perhaps more than any game before it (besides CoD when I was a teenager...).

    A technical masterpiece that improves upon most aspects of the original. The story isn’t as good as part 1, but it is nowhere near as bad as many make out. My main criticism would be that the run time is a bit longer than necessary.

    First off, the game is better in most ways then the first 1. The graphics look great, the gameplay is fun and better and you can explore more then in the first game (there are more types of zombies than in the first).     I didn't like the direction they went with the story (mostly predictable). But it is a direction you can go. In the last few hours of the game you're exhausted because of it and hope it can just be over already. It's got some forced political agenda in it, but it's not that bad as most claim. Think they handled it (LGBTQ part) pretty well.

    Without going in too many details its not a game I would replay and I don't think it has good replay value. I think they focused too much about bringing out an idea (besides the political agenda) and focused to few on making the game fun to play, which is what I'd and I think most look for in a game.

    All with all it is definitely not the best game I've ever played, don't think it would be in my top 10 tbf. But it's worth a try even though its quite different compared to the first one.

No me malentiendan, tiene sus puntos negativos como la introducción a fuerza de un personaje que simplemente no empatiza con un público que ama y está acostumbrado a Joel o el obvio final que no parece digno para un hombre que paso por encima de medio país. Sin embargo, el juego tiene un significado profundo, y nos presenta un reflejo de la misma historia entre Joel y Ellie pero esta vez interpretada por Abby y la niña, personajes que como dije, parecen estar siendo introducidos a la fuerza, transmitiendo a los jugadores un sentimiento de desesperación por querer volver a ayudar a Ellie en su venganza. Eso en cuanto a historia, en aspectos técnicos, el juego es una obra maestra. El gameplay es fluido y permite al jugador un movimiento más como un RPG Open world que como un juego lineal. Gráficamente el juego se ve increíble y muestra el trabajo y cariño del estudio desarrollador. Cada detalle parece estar pulido y lleva al máximo de trabajo a nuestra consola. En conclusión, es un juego que deberás probar por ti mismo para poder tener la verdadera experiencia The Last of Us Part II.… Expand

Mi critica a este juegazo lanzado el año pasado tratara de ser lo mas precisa posible, es un gran videojuego, tiene una gran jugabilidad, una increíble narrativa, que logra producir una emoción y un sentimiento cuando estamos jugando con el personaje, para mi no alcanza el 10 de 10, por el hecho de que se desasieron demasiado rápido de Joel, siendo que fue el personaje principal en el primer videojuego, pienso que tanto el publico como yo, teníamos una conexión con ese personaje, y ver que desaparecía de una manera tan impulsiva dejo que desear, si bien se uso para darle sentido a la historia de venganza de Ellie, pudo haber dado mucho mas de lo que dio, pero bueno, no solo por eso, el juego será malo, me sorprendió el tiempo que duro y que toda la historia, tanto de Elli, como Abby tu vieran tanta coherencia, sin lugar a dudad la compañía saco a lucir todo su talento en esta entrega y ya quiero ver con que otra sorpresa vendrán a futuro.… Expand

Ending to me was very sad and it left me empty. Also the gameplay wasn't that addicting like in the first game. It was sometimes boring and finding materials was boring. Just wanted to progress the game.

    Graphics are great and voice acting and acting in general was great too. I think this game will be praised in the future more...

    Стоит отметить что подобные игры выходят редко, если у вас есть ps4-5 вам определённо стоит её поиграть. После окончания прохождения первой части вы испытываете радость и любовь, после этой основной эмоцией выступает грусть. The first last of us game is widely considered as a classic video game with very few faults, the story is both tragic and heart warming and the connection between Joel and Ellie is almost second to none. The second installment of the franchise however is a drastic change in tone. Almost instantly the player is hit with an emotional moment that is one of the main dividing features of this game and often causes the most controversy. The story also can be very disjoined at times with numerous flash backs and sometimes flash backs in flash backs. The gameplay is a massive improvement over the first game, making all melee weapons feel weighty and all the guns feel like they need extra precision. The graphics also are absolutely stunning, the sheer amount of detail within the vast landscapes are simply breath taking. All in all the story is a beautiful mess with disjointed segments and sometimes un necessary plot beats. The gameplay is masterful and fun and of course the graphics are drop dead gorgeous. If you are a fan of the first game I highly advise you to play this but with managed expectations.… Expand

    While it was not what I was expecting nor what I wanted this game was one of the most emotional and powerful things I have experienced. While many will disagree with the strong narrative choices chosen by the writers I think it was bold and the ending will leave you thinking about the last 20 hours for days to come.

One of my favorite parts of the first game was uncovering the story of Ish in the sewers. TLOU2 is filled with intriguing short stories like that which make the world feel alive, as though it has a history. Uncovering these little mysteries through the artifacts and environment may have been my favorite part of the game. While I’m no expert when it comes to graphics, the PS4 Pro version had the best (most realistic) graphics I’ve ever seen.

    For the most part, the gameplay is great and an improvement over the original. The dodge mechanic is a very welcome addition that opens up options in combat for Ellie in particular. I also appreciate how infected and humans are no longer perfectly outlined in listen mode. Depending on where you’re at in the story, you will find your approach to combat change, and it’s fun to mix it up at that point. My only gripe with the combat is that is feels slightly delayed. If you’ve played the first game, you’re aware of the infamous brick/bottle throw + melee combo. In TLOU2, the animation to grab and throw the bottle feels much slower than in TLOU1, often resulting in death, and it’s frustrating on higher difficulties where this strategy is essential.

    Of course, the most important part of TLOU2 is the narrative. This is where the controversy lies, and there’s little I can say about it that hasn’t been said already. Personally, I didn’t love the direction the game took, but I was still impressed by what Naughty Dog accomplished and applaud their boldness. In a world of bland cookie cutter sequels, Naughty Dog dared to take a risk. For me, the risk paid off. While the phrase “go into it with an open mind” is often a red flag, in this case it’s important for you to do so. Don’t be taken in by people telling you what to think—I encourage you to come to your own conclusions. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the game as much as I did. My main gripe with the narrative (unrelated to the story direction) is that the game felt bloated at times, and a little longer than it should have been. The pacing would have benefitted if the first half was trimmed somewhat. By the end I was exhausted, which hampered my enjoyment a bit, but this became less of an issue on my second playthrough.

    TLOU2 is a game that challenges you in a way no game I’ve played before or since has. It challenges your humanity and empathy, and urges you to understand that we’re all the heroes in our own story. Ultimately, that’s what The Last of Us is all about.    … Expand

    It's depressing and gives you no catharsis, but it really hit home for me. I loved the characters, including the new ones. Especially I loved Lev.

    The game is not perfect, it has some pacing issues, and could trim some fat, but i think the other parts are amazing. Obviously, the graphics, acting, mocap, details, and gameplay is absolutely top notch, but I, personally, also love the story, but it realize that it is a bit hit or miss.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II, on the other hand, has a much more rich, fresh and engaging plot that strikes the emotional core of the audience with exceptionally crafted drama and surprises players with a non-linear narration and shifting povs that add depth to the story. Just like The Last of Us, none of the themes are particularly new, but the way they're presented and depicted is superb, really accentuating the potential of videogames as an artistic medium. The only real flaw in the story is that whereas the first The Last of Us dealt with a thought-provoking moral dilemma that only emerged in the last sequence as coronation of a journey that was about characters first and foremost, The Last of Us Part II revolves almost entirely around a moral dilemma, which also serves as cornerstone of the story itself from the start. As such, one could criticize that the story is thematically redundant.
    Because of its complexity and depth, The Last of Us Part II has a much heavier story than the first game. Heavy not only from an emotional standpoint, but alas also from a replayability standpoint: there are many unskippable story sequences and flashbacks where you don't get to actually play but only listen to characters giving exposition and talking as you walk, so subsequent playthroughs can get pretty tedious and boring during said sections, and sadly they're not few.
    But that is a really minor problem. The major, ugliest problem of The Last of Us Part II's gameplay is simple, and arrived under the guise of an amelioration: the bigger, ambitious size of the areas.
    The more powerful consoles allowed Naughty Dog to create bigger, more open environments to place enemies and make the player fight them. This is exciting at first, but in higher difficulties you start to notice a plethora of cracks: firsly, enemies can spot you from extremely far, which is realistic, but the level design often doesnt offer enough options to hide from all the enemies scattered in these enormous areas, and thus some levels become a frustrating trial and error party until you find one of the extremely few acceptable paths to remain stealth. Secondly, areas are so big that enemies might take as much as five minutes to complete their path loop, so if you want to figure them out to proceed with care you'll need a frustrating amount of time. Thirdly, areas are sometimes so big that you can attack an enemy recklessly, thus revealing your position to all enemies, but then you can just run far away enough for them to lose your location because the enemy AI simply refuses to leave a specific zone within the area, so you can easily exploit this to repeat this process over and over. As big as these issues are, what The Last of Us Part II does right is so incredibly fun and addicting that this game still achieves the same level of quality of the first game.
    The cycle of scavenging>battle with humans>scavenging>battle with zombies proves once again to maintain the experience fresh and never boring, especially with the new interesting varieties of zombies that require some more strategic thinking and the new possibility to dodge physical attacks, rewarding quick reflexes and making hand to hand combat a much more worthwile, exciting option in encounters. Another thing that keeps the experience always fresh and interesting is the optimal amount of upgrades: so many different weapons and armaments unlocked throughout the experience almost constantly giving players new options to approach threats, so that the extreme length of the game doesnt become cause of boredom but of great joy.
    As much as I've criticised the level design when it comes to stealth approach in open areas, everything else about it has improved: thanks to breakable windows and ropes, exploring the ruined Seattle while scavenging is fun and rewards the keen eye, and to find a way onward and solve environmental puzzles you actually need to use your head towards an almost-always satisfying solution. Safes and the hunt for their combination is fun, but a little bit overused.
    Or, in other words: The Last of Us Part II is a powerful and poignant story thanks to great characters and their internal journeys, but sometimes ilfully prioritizes it over the game, resulting in sequence that are tedious on playthroughs focused on the gameplay. As a game it remains on the great quality of the first chapter because as much as the level design notably and repeatedly suffers from areas that are unnecessarily big, the extreme variety of the experience both regarding enemies and player options, and the depth of its strategic and explorative possibilities is such that the overall experience remains one of pure shooting and stealth fun    … Expand

I see most negative reviews here based on the fact that they got rid of the main character from the last game within the first 2 hours of this game and that he wasn’t playable. I feel last of us 2 has been on the receiving end of some unnecessary hate only for the story and doesn’t get enough credit for the other things that they did so well with this one. A game with such superior graphics and so many options weapons to choose from. You are emotionally invested in this game even more than the previous game. Yes, it absolutely sucks to play as the character that was responsible for the death of the main character of the prequel and many people including myself were so damn offended and disappointed at first, but then as the game progressed I was kinda fine with that too. This game also has some great boss fights and is still worth every penny you spend on it. It definitely isn’t even close to the prequel, but it also doesn’t deserve the unnecessary hate it gets.… Expand

In terms of gameplay, this game expands upon everything well that the first game did. But when it comes to the story, I have to say there isn't any other game that makes you switch on your damn brain and start sympathising and attempting to understand the emotions of characters. And since this is a Naughty Dog game with characters written with love, it is worth understanding characters and watching their sorrowful adventure unfold. It is honestly depressing how brilliantly crafted games like these get hate, yet garbage like Assassin's Creed maintains a strong following. Deserved GOTY.… Expand

    Un jeu qui comme on s’y attend à un scénario incroyable. Techniquement je ne m étendrait pas tant je suis pas apte à faire de différence sur le framerate ou la qualité visuelle mais on en prend plein la vue c est sûre . Personnellement j ai trouver la difficulté était présente et j ai bien buter sur certain passage mais si j ai réussi à le finir c est qu elle est pas insurmontable. Techniquement je ne m étendrait pas tant je suis pas apte à faire de différence sur le framerate ou la qualité visuelle mais on en prend plein la vue c est sûre . Personnellement j ai trouver la difficulté était présente et j ai bien buter sur certain passage mais si j ai réussi à le finir c est qu elle est pas insurmontable. Les gun fight sont pas le point fort du jeu et l’IA est parfois au fraise mais dans l ensemble c est agréable à joué . J ai pas spécialement eu peur et c est pas se qu’on demande au jeu mais j ai eu 2/3 sursaut. Le jeu nous embarque dans une histoire sombre trash et prend parti dans des sujet profond comme l homosexualité ou le racisme mais c est toujours bien fait j ai réellement aimé ce jeu mais j ai été soulagé au bout de mes 27/28 heures de jeu… Expand

    Fantastic game from start to finish. A lot of people may not have liked the direction the game took but I thought it was refreshingly forward in its direction. Other than some choppy frames towards the end of the game it was a brilliant experience

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Where to start, this is almost a masterpiece, but it has some flaws, but first of all, lets start with the things i liked about the game

    - Unfortunately, i got spoiled with Joel’s death, but i didn’t knew how, or when this happens, this broke my heart, but this intrigued me just the enough to seek revenge.

    - Loved the characters, especially Abby, the fact that she’s Jerry Anderson daughter, makes the story perfect continuation from the first game.

    - The inclusion in the game with Dina and Ellie, is just perfect, it is not forced and try to change no one’s “taught” or “sexual orientation”, in my personal opinion, i found this inclusion really natural.

    - The game graphics are on other level, love the colors and the environments.

    - Loved the few jumpscares that they implemented, just the exact amount to make it unpredictable.

    - And to finish with the things i liked about the game, the storyline is so God Damn good, i really enjoyed the game.

    - The inventory and the loot you gather it’s just the right exact amount. Flaws: The game isn’t perfect, it has some bugs here and there but nothing really enough to make me complain, at least for my experience.

    - The very first chapter with Abby when arriving to Santa Monica, after the Aquarium, made me feel a little bored, i felt like the game was notoriously extended, but the next few minutes before that, the game felt just quite right.

    - The only bug that is really noticeable, is the blinking foliage that sometimes i got, nothing out of this world, but in my opinion, it is something that is really easy to fix, and that never got fixed.

    - Sometimes the melee attacks felt really awful, missed some hits that wasn’t really gonna miss.

    - In some occasions, i just wanted to go stealth, but the AI made it so impossible, not the o this is stealth hard, no it was really imposible.

    And thats quite it, i really enjoyed the game.    … Expand

    Technically flawless. Good story, although no where near as emotionally impactful as the first game, and the ending is both unbelievable and dissapointing in equal measure. It makes no sense. Still an absolute must play title. The graphics and audio design are mind blowing.

I think the game got review bombed heavily since Joel dies right of the bat and after that no one gave it a chance including me but know I’ve played the game I can still see flaws but overall I really like the last of us 2. I think the whole playing the villain aka Abby was something good that you don’t see in other games and when I started playing as her I still hated her but when characters like lev come into play it makes you like Abby and actually give a **** about her which leaves you so torn when it gets to the fight between Ellie and Abby you don’t want anyone to die but you understand they have to and when Abby spares Ellie it just makes her more human and shows how Ellie has become a bad Pearson due to revenge. Also one of the most powerful scenes is when Tommy comes to the house to try and guilt Ellie into tracking abby which just leaves you feeling sorry for him because of how what’s happens to him has ruined him physically and emotionally. I also think the ending of the game really does drive home this idea of revenge isn’t good which seems abit expected tbh but the fact Ellie is left unable to play the guitar Joel gave her is so powerful because it shows that everything wasn’t worth it because not only is everyone destroyed by what happens know what she was keeping Joel’s memory alive with can’t be done and it just leaves you emotional. So yeah the last of us 2 is a good game and is definitely worth giving a chance(sorry this is abit of a wonky review it’s my first attempt of writing one)… Expand

    This game caused a lot of conflicting emotions, but in the end it left a good aftertaste.
    Yes, a lot was not as much as I would like to see it, but nevertheless, I experienced just a gigantic range of emotions during the passage, and this is probably worthy of applause.

The audience can easily follow the character driven story. A story that attaches the player to Joel and Ellie; to such an extent that even a casual player cares about them. As the next game sets up, the player is shown the huge rift between Joel and Ellie; Due to Ellie learning about what actually happened in the hospital. Ellie alienates Joel for what he did, the bond is still there but it is barely holding- Upon Joel’s death the player shares ;Ellie’s Pain, Sorrow, Rage, and want to inflict your mutual Vengeance. You feel that initial satisfaction and vindication as you hunt down Abby. It is not until you’re forced to play as Abby, do you see the wake of your desperation-
    At the beginning of Abbys journey you truly hate her. You want her and her friends to fail. But you’re forced to see who these people actually are anyway. It’s trying to tell you that doing things out of hate will not make you happy-
    We find Ellie living with her love interest on a beautiful ranch in Montana; and it feels like Ellie has made her peace. Except instead of Ellie moving on, she is struggling with PTSD. The only solution she sees is taking Abbys Life as she took Joel’s-
    The finale brings you within breaths of your revenge; and right before its finally over. Ellie lets go of her hate & animosity towards Abby, realizing Joel is a bright light in her life and Abby can never take that away from her- The player feels robbed because of this, even if you did not want Abby to die anymore. Its an equivalent feeling to holding in a long stayed sneeze. Naughty Dog shot for the moon with this sequel, and it looks and plays INCREDIBLY. -The fact Ellie hates Joel because he saved her from the fireflies blows my mind. He never tells her that they drug her, or beat him senseless. Or that no vaccine for fungal human infection has EVER been made; let alone in an apocalyptic scenario. -The attention to detail here is second to none, compared to the games coming out now. - a large part of the first game was showing the player just how HARD it is to traverse this world. Yet here we’re jumping hundreds of miles in seconds. -Playing as the villain for half the game is a unique concept that the average consumer has never seen. They were very close to something great here, but that does not make it bad. Which is why I gave it a 7 out of 10. It’s an above average game; and in comparison to the games that have been released since then it’s a knockout.
    If you can get this game below 60 dollars it’s a steal. You get a lot of game for your money here. And I want to make this perfectly clear if you hate this game because you can’t handle a lesbian main character or that Abby is “implied” to be trans then please spare the rest of us by not writing another review.    … Expand

    The gameplay, graphics, sound, and the first half of the story were awesome. thought the story declined in quality as it went on but I think it picked up again from the hospital basement section of Abby's story.

    I give it an 8/10 because of the gameplay, graphics and sometimes the story is good,but not the ending and flashbacks. It doesnt deserve a 0,if you have played you know it,but neither a 10 that professional critic gives it.

    Im my oppinion, a great game with great graphics and great gameplay. I think the Story is not the best, especially the weird story of abby. So in generell still a great game, BUT by far not as good as Part 1!!!!

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
