The game has you playing as the villain for half of it, allowing you to see things from their perspective. I found the writing to be so good, it had me questioning what I thought was right and wrong. La continuación es genial me encantó, los escenarios, la música, cada sombreado está hecha al detalle, la historia es buena y entretenida te gustara y no pararas de jugarlo por unas horas me gusto mucho la transición de cambio de historia ya que pasará a Abby y como cuenta de que ella es una buena persona despues Ellie mato a todos sus amigos y ella quedando sola por haber traicionado a su gente y no tener a sus amigos sin embargo se quedo con un Scar. Y Elli se quedo con un trauma que lo perseguirá por toda la vida.… Expand

    I'm not going to lie, but at the point where you fight Ellie as Abby, I was in a rage against ND, I couldn't understand how you crush a character like that... Why you make me play with the killer of Joel for so frecking long... I was absolutely furious how Ellie was "done with that" on the house living with Dina and the baby... That's, not Ellie I thought, Ellie won't leave Abby live... we need to **** kill her...

    I only forced to keep playing the game with the only intention to kill Abby... then it hit me like a goddam train, and it hurt and it hurt a lot...

    Allow me to explain myself...

    If Ellie killed Abby, the cycle must continue, someone has to kill Ellie. But Ellie broke it, revenge won't help her, he needed closure, not revenge. And that's what she got, and no, I don't buy the "she killed everybody just to pardon Abby? YES, **** yes, and that's why Neil and the ND is a **** genius, because at the last scene when Ellie realized she couldn't play the guitar, it let her understand that letting Abby go, letting the guitar there, helped her letting Joel go...

    It's not what everybody expected, I get that, we all wanted all the game to be like the museum memory... Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you guys. It´s not...

    I cried for a frecking hour when Ellie started to play and left...

    This game has a brilliant story and I think it hit me sooo frecking hard because I was soo in the Ellie ship... but this world, this game isn't about "the good ones" and the "bad guys" this is about the actions of Joel's life and how Ellie in his absolute depression couldn't see anything but revenge, but that's not her, the true Ellie is the museum one, the "I wanna see what all the fuss is about" Ellie, the one who makes dumb joked with her first real friend.

    We need to understand what Ellie´s been through guys. Why you think we don’t see any "car with Joel scenes... any pun jokes book with Dina... because her relationship with Joel is fractured, and she lost the opportunity to repair it... She lost her first true love... and know when she finally started to trust someone, she lied at her face and have to "carry" a baby that forever remained her that his dad is dead because of her... She can’t live a life like that... That’s truly not her...

    That’s why she needed to go with Abby, and yes, it was melodramatic to "save her at the last second" but that’s what she needed, and the fingers... well... yeah, I thought, at first, that it was only on the gore side, to show that your actions have consequences, even if you don’t "end them". BUT, it was crucial, I’ll explain:

    In the last scene, when Ellie tries to play the guitar and lives, I thought that it remembered too much to Joel and she couldn’t do it, not that fresh... but not, she fiscally couldn’t play. (Maybe if there is a 3rd one shell just plays with the other hand... I don now lol.) But what I got from that, is that she needed that, she needed to leave Joel behind (figuratively with the guitar) and move on... And that’s what she does... she moved on.

    That’s why, also, Tommy broke up with Maria, because Tommy didn’t move on... He probably kept complaining and **** why he didn’t kill her... why he didn’t do that... or do the other... (You know? Like all of us when we **** up something, of think of great response on an argument 5 hours after it ended...) He didn’t have closure, or he didn’t accept what happened, and that deeply depressed him to the point he lost what he loves more... his wife.

    That’s what Ellie "got right" yes, she’s greatly affected, of **** course... for her, his whole life was circling around giving her life for the cure... and Joel took that from her.

    But know, with Joel, with Abby with Jesse, and Tommy behind, she can truly move on and be that curious badass girl, who claimed dinosaurs and make silly pun jokes with her best friend... Because, there’s nothing in her past, hunting her...

    That’s why I think it hit me so hard… because upon all the “second” half of the game, I was in rage, I didn’t want to play Abby… I didn’t care about their life’s, friends…, how many of them where… I only wanted to kill Abby… Joel can’t go unavenged. Until I wasn’t, until I saw Ellie walking away from Joel’s guitar, that I realized… Abby is Joel…
    And it was so frecking obvious, Ellie never put up stairs, Ellie never sees a flamethrower, Joel never wanted Ellie to become what she was becoming. That’s why he choked on the last memory when Ellie tells him that she may never forgive him… but she may try…    … Expand

    Possibly the most engaging story I’ve ever seen in a video game. Improves on the original game in every single way whilst taking the narrative in a whole new direction. Certainly one of the best games of the decade, and one of my new favourites!

И при этом понимаешь , что хотели донести до нас авторы игр ,,, что за месть плата велика и Мы сами смогли прочувствовать в игре что антагонистом вселеной оказалось сама Элли , а Эбби как протагонистом , из-за этого было жаль обе сторон , но за концовку рад что Элли пожалела Эбби.     Aos brasileiros e portugueses de plantão, não vale a pena gastar seu dinheiro nisso, 279R$ em um jogo que não prende a atenção, não dá vontade de jogar, com história ruim, personagens sem carisma. Sem contar que todo passado dos personagens foi esquecido para enfiarem crítica social no lugar.     After finishing The Last Of Us, I was so eager to continue playing that story. I could barely wait for a sequel. After finishing The Last Of Us Part II I feel no need for a continuation, because I honestly don't care about that story anymore. Unfortunately for us, it took a direction that was mostly about impact and 'cringeness' than actually the great storytelling that the original had.After finishing The Last Of Us, I was so eager to continue playing that story. I could barely wait for a sequel. After finishing The Last Of Us Part II I feel no need for a continuation, because I honestly don't care about that story anymore. Unfortunately for us, it took a direction that was mostly about impact and 'cringeness' than actually the great storytelling that the original had.     Плюсы: Картинка - поражает, художники не так просто деньги получали, после Uncharted 4 это вторая игра где я сделал больше 30 скриншотов, можно было еще наделать, но надо было играть.     Motion Capture - тут какой-то уже сверх уровень лицевых анимаций, просто потрасающе. Вообщем вся техническая часть игры сделана на самом высоком уровне.
    Музыка - конечно до первой части не дотянули, но тоже хорошо, хотелось бы отметить мелодию играющая в момент перестрелок и напряженных моментах.
    Флешбеки с Джоэлом.

    Минусы:

    Сюжет - к сожалению не понимаю восторженных игроков пишущих что это шедевр, увы сюжет это основа игры, а это игра именно об истории о людей в мире постапокалипсиса, так вот сюжет очень спорный и слабый.
    Клише на клише.
    Персонажи отупели (особенно Джоэл, в первой части этот человек был умен и ни кому не доверял, во второй части «Привет! Я Джоэл, а это Томми») и стали унылыми.
    Второстепенные персонажи не интересные кроме Яры, Льва и с натяжкой Оуэн, остальные просто мусор.
    Диалоги так же стали не интересные.
    Длительность игры - серьезно, можно было вырезать еще часов 10 не нужных геймплейных мест. (Дракманн кстати говорил что и так вырезал половину игры, и слава богу)
    Геймплей с одной стороны очень хорош, а с другой из-за длительности самой игры вы будете переодически уставать.
    Перебор с закрытыми проходами, в первой части они нужны были для диалогов между персонажами пока ты ищешь выход, во второй части - это просто чтобы увеличить время геймплея, а с диалогами как я уже писал тут все не очень хорошо.
    Русская локализация как всегда отвратная, много не правильных художественных вставок и актеры то не доигрывают то переигрывают. Играл на английской озвучке и вам советую.
    ВЫВОД:
    Если закрыть глаза на пропаганду которая была всунута в игру что бы подсластить пилюлю журналистам для высоких оценок - игра не плохая, но и ничего особенного исключая конечно техническую часть.
    6/10 -4 балла за невзрачность сюжета и слабых персонажей

    0/10 всем купленным журналистам и прочей швали что ставит 100/100 и 10/10    … Expand

    But what is really sad is the writhing for this game.     But what is really sad is the writhing for this game. Joel's death was done in a stupid and lazy way, forced for the story to continue. Using the argument that he stayed in the community left him "less suspicious" is inconsistent, it is not because he spent 4 years in a community that made him "forget" with the outside world. He has experienced many things during 24 years of survival, and knows what human beings are like in the outside world. He would be just as suspicious as before, as he now patrols a community, so his instincts would be the same in the first game.
    Another point was that everything was very convenient during the scene, because exactly at the moment when Abby will almost be killed by the infected, Joel saved her from that situation at the last minute, and he and Tommy went straight to meet her group, and being comfortable in their presence during the scene, besides Joel being in the middle of the room, surrounded.

    The game was sold as an adventure by Joel and Ellie again, the trailers were even edited to think about it, and at no time did we see Abby in any of the trailers. the company knew that the public would not like to hear that the story would be about Ellie and Joel's murderer, Abby. We don't wait 7 years for that.
    Even showing the background of Abby losing her father, to feel sympathy for the character, it did not convince most players, as well as me, because Abby is a psychopath, and here are examples of how the game shows her with her actions in her darkest moments:

    1 - Shoot the knee of a man who saved her moments ago, using a golf club to beat and torture him for a considerable time, and kill him in front of a girl who is begging for his life.
    2 - After discovering that Dinah is pregnant, she doesn't think twice before trying to cut her throat, just not committing the act because Lev prevented her.
    3 - Cheating on her friend Mel (who was pregnant) having sex with Owen, and showing zero remorse.

    Ellie, at similar times, shows much more humanization in her reactions:
    1 - Upon hearing Nora offend Joel, she beats her in a brutal way (also to have information about Abby), and moments later, she is totally shaken after that event.
    2 - After killing Mel and discovering she was pregnant, Ellie has a panic attack, falling to the ground and hyperventilating, showing herself completely traumatized and making it clear to the player that she would not have killed her if she had known this before.
    3 - Ellie apologizes to Jesse about kissing Dinah, and the relationship begins without containing a betrayal.

    There are a lot of plot holes in the game, such as Tommy letting the map in the floor so that, in the narrative, Abby would find it.

    In the end, Part II had a great potential to be one of the best sequels of a game, but fails miserable in the story telling of such a beautiful story that was the first game.

    The Last of Us part II is a dark drama-adventure tale like no other. The hate this game is receiving is unfair and is coming only from a bunch of kids who wanted fan service, happy endings and super heroes. It’s a game for adults and only adults can comprehend the message Naughty Dog wants to convey. A must play for all true gamers.

    Melhor experiência que já tive com um game na vida, gráficos impressionantes, jogabilidade, tudo perfeito. Enredo que mexe com sua compreensão humana sobre as coisas, mostra os dois lados da moeda. Fantástico.

    I didn't play the first one. I played the first 2 hours and got kinda bored. Looks great from a technical stand point but not for me in terms of the boring game play loop and the boring from what i've played . I should have saved the 60 for ghost of tsushima

    The Game is good, a masterpiece? Not at all, the story was decent, it could had been great if the director explained the motives before ..."the issue ahead" The gameplay was stunning, a bit repetitive at times. The combat was visceral i loved it. Music, graphics and the light effects were amazing.

I do not care for most of the characters because they were killed off just like that and brushed off easily. The gameplay did not change. Everyone is suddenly gay in the apocalypse. The revenge plot is overdone way too much. The use of cheap tactics to make you feel bad like killing animals and a pregnant woman sucks and is not original. Graphics and the sound design is the only thing good about this game.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The last of us was always Joel and Ellie. You could take any two characters and throw them in that world, but that is not the last of us. The last of us was an emotionally intricate and complex story of heartbreak, love, courage, anger, happiness and more revolving around two people. It was a story where the writing and directing was so incredible that it caused the majority of us to connect to and to care for a set of video game characters like never before. We were on that journey with them the entire time, feeling the love, the anger, the heartbreak, the joy that they felt. It connected to me personally like no other video game ever has and still remains, for me, the greatest story in a video game ever....which is why the Last of Us Part 2 is such a disappointment to me. From a purely gaming perspective, this game is fantastic. The graphics are incredible, the game-play is brilliant, the animations are almost flawless. However, even all of these brilliant things about the last of us part 2 cant help me look past how poor and misguided the story is. I didn't play last of us 2 for the graphics. Sure they do help, but, and I'm sure many would agree, I was so hyped for, and played it for the story. I couldn't wait to jump back in after all these years, and after the first hour I was already worrying about where the game was heading. I don't agree with it, but I don't mind them wanting to kill off Joel. However, it was cheap. Instantly then and there in that mansion, the whole premise of the last of us died. An entire game without the relationship between Joel and Ellie which is even worse considering how it was advertised to us as if Joel was gonna be in the game for at least longer than the opening. But I accepted it and continued on under the assumption we were off to get revenge for how they brutally tortured and killed Joel, and in front of Ellie no less. However, half way through the game, when you've gone through the process of taking out the majority of the gang bar Abby, it is mind boggling to me how we are forced to play as her. This woman who brutally murdered Joel and then shot and killed Jesse, whose death was also cheap, right in front of us too. We are now forced to play through her childhood and then play with her and her gang who killed Joel through all 3 days in Seattle and I just couldn't be bothered at this stage. I don't care about Abby. I don't care about her life. I don't care that Joel killed her father. You had this person murder one of the most beloved characters in video game history, 1/2 of the last of us, and then we are forced to play as her, while the writing forces us to try to empathize or connect to this character in some way which is impossible because of what she did. It only gets worse then as, after playing Abby's never ending half of the game, you are forced to fight Ellie while playing as Abby. Then when you think its all over, it reels you back in as Ellie decides she cant let it go and heads to California to find her. Then once you do, after she brutally killed our favorite dad Joel, and after she murdered Jesse, and after she bites 2 of your fingers off, you let her go instead of killing her rendering the whole plot of this game, which was effectively justice for Joel, pointless. This whole story is ridiculous and completely misses the point of why so many of us fell in love with the first last of us, not to mention how inconsistent it is regarding how returning characters think and act based on the first game. The second half of the game in particular baffles me. Playing as Abby just bored and annoyed me as I couldn't care less about her and in no way was I ever going to connect to this random character I was forced to play as who was thrown in to this game to kill Joel. This game just felt like a massive middle finger to fans of the original game. Roughly 20 hours it took me to complete my playthrough and I stopped caring about the game as soon as it hit Abby's part. It is massively upsetting that I waited so many years for a sequel and this tone deaf monstrosity of a story is the best they could come up with. They took everything that made us love the last of us out, and, while I enjoyed playing as Ellie once again for her part of the game, I refuse to accept this as a sequel to the Last of Us. If this was the garbage that Neil Druckmann and his team were going to provide us after 7 years of waiting, I would've preferred if they had not bothered with a sequel and just left us with the masterpiece that was The Last of Us. I think a lot of people who liked the game and are claiming people are just 'review bombing' it for the sake of it and 'love complaining' are missing the point completely. If you take this game as a completely separate standalone with nothing to do with the last of us then yeah, it's a great game. But this was supposed to be a sequel to the Last of Us, the continuation of Joel and Ellie's story but that's not what we got. They failed to deliver.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. ufff empezemos primero las criticas que este juego esta resiviendo son algo erróneas pues la historia es increíble emocionante llena de dolor sufrimiento y tragedia los gráficos la iluminación los efectos sonoros el doblaje la inteligencia artificial es simplemente fascinante la principal critica que esta resiviendo se dividen en dos primera la muerte de joel y la tranformacion emocional de elli segunda la homosexualidad no tengo ningun problema con ese tema pero lo que me molesta es que la recalquen a cada rato sabemos que ellie es lesbiana y lo repiten muchas veses llegando al punto de ser molesto tambien en las notas las cartas perdidas por el mapa algunas cuneta sobre que ej mataron a un tipo x por ser homosexual" y en c¿muchas cartas lo ponen bueno el juego tiene altos y bajos uno de esos bajos es la optimizacion lo juge en ps4 pro y en algunas cinemáticas las texturas no terminaban de cargar es cierto que el juego esta pensado para ps5 pero oigan un retoque y listo

I’d like to say I understand the characters, and I think this sequel did a good job staying true to those characters. A lot of criticism for this game has come in the form of a revolt against the agenda of the creators. Let me remind anyone that played the first one that there were multiple gay characters in that one too, so having them continue to be gay shouldn’t be that shocking to anyone playing the sequel. Joel’s early death caught me off guard and of course I was saddened by it, but his story was pretty much over. He had his entire character arc through the first game, therefore, not much was left to discuss in the sequel. This also allows new characters to be explored.

    Despite his early death, he comes back in flashbacks that happen throughout the game. These flashbacks give useful context for the continuing story, and allows two very separate story’s to combine for an exciting climax.

    I will say that the game is paced well, although the constant timeline changes with flashbacks and character changes can bog down the story if you aren’t paying close attention. This game also has a habit of quickly killing off main characters. If you blink during some of the deaths you could easily miss them. My biggest complaint is the same complaint as the first game (which I still give a 10/10). Enemies will try to kill you with guns but won’t drop ammo when you take them down, as if they used their last shot just before you finished them off. The voice acting, the acting, the graphics, and the gameplay are all very well done. Gameplay features a few new mechanics for traversing the world, combat, and for puzzles.

    As for the developers’ agendas, the complaints are entirely unwarranted. There is no agenda here. They aren’t forcing lgbt values down our throats, there’s just gay characters. Ellie was gay in the first game and obviously continues that into this game. It would make sense that Ellie would find a love interest after 4 years of living in Jackson. There are a couple scenes with Ellie and her girlfriend Dina, but nothing is forced. It is treated the same way all the straight relationships have been in all the other naughty dog games. The antagonist Abby is not trans, she’s just buff. There’s a gym in her base and she works out constantly. Apparently if a girl isn’t entirely feminine then she’s just a dude? There is one sex scene featuring Abby and it lasts for maybe 5 seconds. That 5 second scene has been the crux of most people’s criticisms of this game so feel free to ignore any of those reviews.

    This game is well made all around, the original is just so hard to beat. For anyone that really enjoyed the first game, or payed any attention to it, this sequel is worth your time.    … Expand

    Like as the first game the end is unexpected but in the bad way. They discarted some features of the main list characters that were constructed in the first game.

    This game is not some LGBTQ+ propaganda. Yes Ellie is gay, and her love interest is a significant character, but her being gay has no importance to the story. The game would not be any different if she was straight and Dina was a guy. Ellie is the main character on an incredible adventure, that just happens to be gay. There's not a leftist agenda being pushed on Ellie's sexuality, just a character trait. Second, Abby's arms are huge. If you had lost your dad and spent the next four years tracking his murder down to seek revenge, my guess is you'd be hitting the gym hard. Abby is a brute character and provides a very fun gameplay difference from what we're used to.

    This game is DARK, and does not have a happy ending. I was very mad at Joel's death, but I knew it had to happen. The point of this game was to show that all actions have consequences, and there are two sides to every story. It's easy for us to think that Joel made the right choice in part 1 saving Ellie, because we played the whole game as Joel. But he killed a lot of people, including Abby's father. It's great that we're mad at Abby in the beginning, because we buy into Ellie's revenge story. We cheer her on at every step and don't care about the lives she takes because to us, they're the bad guys that killed joel.
    Then the tables turn, we play as the murder. It's weird, I didn't like it. I found as many ways as possible to kill abby just hoping I could change joel's faith. Then we learn about her father, and start playing as her perspective. You start to care about her and her friends and want to explain it all to Ellie. All the sudden we feel bad about Owen and Mel, we want to do it all differently. This game makes you feel all sorts of crazy emotions. We hate Abby for killing joel, hate it. But understand the reason, because we played the same with Ellie. Both sides are avenging a father figure, and both sides are blinded by this.    … Expand

Everyone expected to be able to play Joel and Ellie again (especially given the different trailers) BUT Naughty Dog made the decision to rig the trailers ?! Is it really a thing to do? Because most of the fans wanted a sequel with Ellie and Joel, a further development of their relationship and we were led to believe that this would be the case ...     I did not play the first game, so I can't comment if it was worse or better, but I can only say what a great game! You totally emerge in the game, I can't stop playing it. I am only in the first 8 hours or so, so I have some great gaming ahead.
    The ones giving this 0 score are nothing but trolls and make a platform like this totally useless. That's a real shame.

I don't want to be one of these review trolls (clearly most of these negative reviews are fake), but did want to make it known that this game is a colossal disappointment. Everyone here is saying how they liked the graphics and voice acting but didn't like the story, which I agree with. But there are some other things that I really do not like:

    - The gameplay itself is boring and monotonous. Although the combat, crafting, stealth etc. are almost exactly the same as the first game, I think the pacing is bad here. The gameplay sections are really long (especially Seattle in the beginning), where getting from point A to B (whether it's traversal, exploration, clicker or combat encounters) takes a really long time. I found the pacing to be perfect in the first game. Usually a longer game is better, but I don't think that really worked here

    - On plot, I really do not like how you play in a flashback for almost the entire second half of the game. I have bias because I am not a huge fan of using flashbacks in fiction in general, but really, half of the game?!? It would be one thing if Abby's story was compelling and the gameplay was fun, but it wasn't. I think it was more just Druckmann's way of trying to have you sympathize with Abby and what she has been through so that you feel bad.

    I do think that the Abby hate has gone too far, she did spare Ellie twice. But, I also do not think that it is possible to sympathize with a person who slowly beats someone to death with a golf club.

    So yeah, I think this game sucks, even standalone, and if you compare to the first game, real bad. Way more boring and monotonous gameplay, and a story that tries to be edgy and revolutionary in games, but really is a waste of time. Most disappointing game of 2020.    … Expand

Joel and tommy aren't the type to just trust strangers. His excuse was that age made them loose their guard? Fk outta here. I'm ok with joel dying, he had to pay for his actions but this was poorly executed and Manny, the guy that spits and calls him a "pendejo" doesn't help. Then you have to spend hours playing with muscle hulk killing innocent people, tribes, etc. And naughty tries to make you feel sorry for her because she saves 2 kids and loves dogs? Due to the way Joel's death was executed makes this game hard to play knowing that it will only go down hill. Abbs witnesses her own people die but doesn't say a single word. All the characters are easily forgotten, ignored or never brought up again. It feels like they weren't nothing but fillers/puppets. With Ellie, she gets PTSD due to watching joel getting killed but during her killing spree, not once did she have a PTSD attack or episode. WTF neil, do you not know **** about PTSD? Once again Joel gets disrespected and Ellie kills one of abbs friends in the same way joel was killed but not once did she have a PTSD episode. Ellie only feels disgust after killing some individuals such as Mel (Mel was pregnan and Ellie found out) and...Oh that's right, the other characters don't matter. Anyways, the only two characters that were interesting were the 2 tribal kids that abbs saved because she loves kids (but is still a serial murderer psychopath). Thier their stories characters are amazing and so is thier back story. That's the kind of Naughty Dog I like to see but that's about it lol. The ending was upsetting due to Ellie Freeing Abs and Levs but then wants to fight abs? Ellie is about to end abs but gets a Flash of Joel which ultimately means that Abs is free to leave with Lev, alive. During the fight, Ellie got 2 of her fingers bitten off, Jo was Killed, Dina her Love was killed as well as thier child, Jesse her best friend was killed, abd Tommy Joel's brother was almost taken from her. Ellie Loses everything, she's dead inside at the end while Abs gets Lev and didn't give a single **** about her friends that died? This game had to many holes, storytelling was lazy as fk and theme is not good lol. You stripped the theme out of all it's meaning.


    Gameplay: 6/10 (same **** from LOUS, $60 is not worth jumping and prone Neil)
    Graphics: 8/10 (beautiful atmosphere but is not open as it Bi-linear to the **** physics were cool, light was alright, top Naughty Dog as always)
    Story: 5/10 (Not a good story, easily one of Naught's worst. Conflicting themes, and juxtapositios in the environment. Too any holes in the stroy and dog**** execution)

I don't like Abby, but at the same time I can't not understand what she experienced in her life. Abby and Ellie even if most "gamer" can't see it, are really similar, they both seek revenge and for doing it they lose everything they care about. Abby is not the only happy character in the end cause she lost everyone that she cares about (yeah she got Lev but Ellie got Dina too). I'm sorry for Joel and for the way he was killed but I saw his death miles away, a character that dies doesn't mean that that the game is automatically bad.
    Also yeah the game is brutal, it's brutal to show you that violence is repulsive and on the other si de there are people even if they are your enemies.

    Não tem como dar uma nota maior apesar de tecnicamente o game ser muito bom. Ótimo gameplay, expressões faciais e movimentação que impressionam e uma trilha sonora envolvente. O maior problema fica por conta da história e da construção de personagens. O game começa como uma história de vingança mas da metade em diante foge totalmente disso ao ponto de eu nem saber mais sobre o que o jogoNão tem como dar uma nota maior apesar de tecnicamente o game ser muito bom.     This is my first time writing a game review and, as I do so, the current user score is a 4.7/10. As I read through these reviews, my impression is that most of the negative reviewers are not yet at a stage in their life where they can appreciate a game like this.

    Rather, I suspect that the people most inclined to appreciate this game are those who can tolerate and understand that:
    [1] sometimes people you like will make choices that you wish they hadn't made.
    [2] the world, especially in TLOU, can be savage and unjust -- sometimes people you care about will suffer in ways that feels undignified, unexpected, and/or unfair.
    [3] some people are romantically attracted to people of the same gender and/or identify or express themselves in ways that don't align with "traditional" gender expectations. That doesn't make them any less of a human being, even if it causes you discomfort.

    Retunred to store for refund after 3 hours play, massive fan of TLOU1 and its character arc and lovely charm between Joel and Ellie.

    I almost vomited at the current story line and character arc, looks good but utterly ridiculous shoehorning in identity politics (WHICH WOULD HAVE NO PLACE IN an APOCALYPSE SCENARIO)

    Such a shame for fans of the series, whats next Nathan Drake in drag?

    I genuinely believe it is the best video game ever made. It is a truly brutal depiction of the ramifications of revenge. Good and evil is a matter of perspective in a lawless land. This is the pinnacle of the medium of video games. If you have a PlayStation 4, you need to play this game

I loved the shift of perspective - viewing the story from someone else - every character is just doing that seems right to them, to protect their own. Good and evil is subjective. It took a little while to adjust to the idea of playing as Abby, but I understand why Naughty Dog made these decisions. Beautiful storytelling, I loved the heartwarming first scene at The Farm - heartbreaking ending when Ellie returns to The Farm.… Expand

    If you want to play as Joel, go back and play the original Last of Us. It sucks that he died in this one but that is what drives the story. The story is complex and takes more to understand than just what is on the surface. For those complaining about it, stop and use your brain and maybe you will understand. If not, there is always Fortnite kids.

    I first became a fan of The Last of Us when it was released on Playstation 3, I bought it and played it religiously. The gameplay, sound and above all the story were one of a kind. We met 2 amazing characters that will live and be remembered in the gaming history forever.
    I bough the game again (remastered) on Playstation 4, I've played the multiplayer numerous times with friends and had a blast every time. It is safe to say I was exited for The Last of Us 2 and got it on release date.
    I've been playing the game ever since I got it, a few hours everyday and today I finally finished it. The graphics, sound and especially level design surpass the part 1 by a country mile. The game is alive, more so than it was in the first instalment. Skeletons with notes feel like they once lived, the houses feel like they barely withstood quest of time and even the enemies feel like real people. The levels are more open-world, allowing the player to choose how much to explore and when to move on. There are dead-ends, screaming enemies, animals, the game feels alive.
    The music is fantastic, Santaolalla absolutely smashed it out of the park, in a horror game music might be the most important factor in making the player scared, and boy did that work. The amount of times I was hesitant to continue, or open a door were limitless.

    In my opinion the Story of part 2 might even be better than part 1. I understand that people don't like the curveball that is thrown midway through the story, and I didn't like it at first, but looking back at it, it might be the best thing Naughty Dog could have done. We get to see a different side of the situation a
    end Ellie learns from it right at the end.
    The end did leave me with questions and I wondered why Ellie even bothered making the entire journey if she ended it like that, but the message Naughty Dog want to express is clear and beautiful.

    All with all, if you liked part 1 you should 100% play this game, even if you end up not liking the story at the end, the gameplay, sound and level-design make up for it. I was not disappointed and I will replay this game most defiantly one day.    … Expand

    Well I just finished this game and then checked the user reviews... I actually can’t believe what i’m seeing! I played for three days straight, which if the low scores are coming from people who have actually completed this game, then they would have had to play for three days straight therefor the game cannot be worthy of a 0.

    Some are anal about the story which I get that some people might not like, but to say that it’s badly written just makes me laugh! This is one of the best stories i’ve ever witnessed. It makes you feel things you might not want to feel but that is where the beauty of storytelling stands!
    Oh no my fav character died... Get over it have you never watched a good season before people die and you feel emotions, that’s why it’s there. In a world where any action has a consequence, bad things happen and with reason too.

    The voice acting and gameplay mechanics alone gives this game at least an 8! I just have to say that reading all the negative reviews actually has me laughing my ass off! These people have so clearly never even played the game or just have poor taste, i’m sure they’ll enjoy Gears of War 6 or Halo: Infinite though.

    Seriously don’t let user reviews put you off. A game doesn’t receive 10s from critics if a game is not good. Don’t believe into the theory that Naughty Dog paid for reviews either because again that is just some sort of hilarious joke!

    One last thing, i’ve seen angry people over the fact that Ellie is gay... For starters what on earth is even wrong with that and it actually makes no difference whatsoever in the story.    … Expand

    If you play this game wanting just another TLOU with Joel and Ellie doing the exact same you're going to be disappointed.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
