    Attention please! This is a review written by someone who HAS ACTUALLY PLAYED AND FINISHED THE GAME. The whole freaking 30 hours, yes. I'm also not going to spoil anything here, only talk about the overall experience.

    First, lets talk about those 30 hours. **** hell, this game is loooong. I swear to God, they could've easily made 2 games out of all the events and stuff that happens in    Attention please! This is a review written by someone who HAS ACTUALLY PLAYED AND FINISHED THE GAME. The whole freaking 30 hours, yes. I'm also not going to spoil anything here, only talk about the overall experience.

    First, lets talk about those 30 hours. **** hell, this game is loooong. I swear to God, they could've easily made 2 games out of all the events and stuff that happens in this game. And absolutely nothing in it feels like "filler" content, the game just bombards you with action after action, twist after twist, it's insane. The game also has more locations and places to explore than I could've ever imagined, it's RIDICULOUS. Not ONE of them looks rushed or anything lesser than a masterpiece in terms of detail and visuals.

    Talking about visuals, HOLY **** You played Uncharted 4? Yeah, this game looks considerably better. I don't know how it's possible, but it's true. TLOU 2 has absolutely no right to look this good on a current gen console. The PS4 goes out with a bang with this game.

    STORY. Oh, **** What the **** do i even say here... I close my eyes and I see scenes from the game. Play it. Do it and you'll understand. I'm kinda going through my adjectives here, I don't even know how to describe it. The game will take you on a ride and there's no getting off until you reach the end. It's history making kind of story. People will talk about it for years to come.

    I left one of the best parts for last... The gameplayyyyy. Visceral. **** Visceral. Absolutely ridiculous what they did here. No other game comes as close in terms of making your enemies feel ALIVE. Making your character feel alive while in combat. No game has did what TLOU 2 has done in terms of gameplay. EVER.    … Expand

    Wow... what an experience! Enjoyed every second of this masterpiece. Thought provoking, complex, bleak... In all the best ways. This one is going to stay with me for a long long time

    More like The Last of Us 1.5....”hey we added a jump and prone feature”. The graphics/sound design are good but that is where the positives end for this game. It is a STORY DRIVEN game with a BAD STORY consisting of characters that are forced into the story that generate zero connections with the player OR sympathy. But it is beyond easy to make an emotional drama that is disturbing, depressing, and leaves a pit in your stomach after experiencing it. TLOU2 is basically a combination of House of Cards (Kevin Spacey) + woke culture. The people who designed/developed this are world-class, asIt takes masterful skill to make a great comedy that genuinely makes people laugh and brings joy to their lives. But it is beyond easy to make an emotional drama that is disturbing, depressing, and leaves a pit in your stomach after experiencing it. TLOU2 is basically a combination of House of Cards (Kevin Spacey) + woke culture. The people who designed/developed this are world-class, as the game is a technical marvel that should be highly praised. But the writing/story is the work of a simple mind trying to be edgy for shock value, failing to realize how obvious, cliche, and mainstream these concepts are nowadays.… Expand

    One of the best games I ever played.
    Emotional rollercoaster, the game takes very brave choise with the storyline. I loved and hated the game I cried and loughed throughout the gut ranching story.

    I've just finished my 2nd playthrough, and my only complaint with the game was that I had to turn on a few of the navigation accessibility options to get through some of the more challenging and/or open levels and puzzles. I think that's more of an issue with me as a player, and a credit to the studio for allowing me a solution. There are some decisions I'd prefer changed, in regards to the order in which the story beats play out, but that's a minor gripe when I can sing high praises for the other parts of the story that I loved. Even if you don't necessarily like the story, the gameplay and technology on display here is insane. I played through very stealthy on the default difficulty the first time and it was fun but standard stealth action fare; it was when I let loose on a custom difficulty and just faced the music head on that the game really shined for me. You will see bits of gameplay that you'd swear were a cutscene. It's mesmerizing. It's a very violent good time.… Expand

    The direction this game took was not in-line with the first game. The treatment of the characters was bizarre. Not really sure what kind of message there were trying to aim at here but this game is negative for the sake of shock value and pessimism. A very well-crafted and constructed BAD game.

The second half of the game adds to the story and builds a world and characters which confront the players with their actions.     So the first game is about love, and the second one is of hate. Well, Naughty Dog was certainly successful at leading me to that obvious conclusion. However, the way that they conveyed the message of hate was so reckless that it was completely counterproductive. It's disgraceful that no "critics" were even remotely critical of this game. It has its strengths sure, but it certainly has its considerable flaws too. If graphics and gameplay are your driving force in selection of games considered to be enjoyable, this will be an acceptable addition. If you want a good, heartfelt, and well executed story like I enjoyed most about the first game, this is not par for the course...if anything I'd prefer a mulligan actually.… Expand

    Единственный минус игры что долго раскачивается начало, возможно у некоторых не хватило терпения пройти дальше 3 главы. Сюжет,геймплей,сцены, реплики, окружение,дизайн уровней, физика и баллистика оружия, ГРАФОН( да, тут он выдавливает все соки из PS4).

    I'm seeing all of the hate for this story and I'm genuinely perplexed. I was enthralled for nearly the entire game, despite the massive plot holes and sometimes meager exposition. Every performance was top notch, the actors did a wonderful job fleshing out their respective characters rendering them likeable and tangible.

After all 6-7 years of waiting, all we've got is such a poor story with too many plot holes. Neil Druckmann didn't do his job well, for more exactly he did it terribly. Here are details of what I think about this game:

    Pros:
    - Game-play: good
    - Sound: great!
    - Graphic: very good
    - Environment: very good

    Cons:
    - story: terrible (the way Joel gave up his life, the unreasonable ending, etc)
    - plot holes: disgusting
    - character design: fairly okay
    - character development: unreasonably ridiculous
    - We gamers and players are forced to play Abby, and have no option to choose to deal with her at the end of the game. We don't like it !!! You tried to bring much more back-story of Abby to force us to feel with her, to make her a new main playable character, right after she killed Joel in a dirty way. Now that's the most terrible writing in history. Don't play with human emotions!    … Expand

    The first Last of Us game was not particularly amazing, it was a great story marred by pretty underwhelming mechanics so I did not expect a whole lot from the sequel. The sequel literally floored me, almost everything was improved dramatically over the first game.

    It seems like in every comment I see about this game's ending that the people who hate it understand the ending, they just flatly refuse to accept it. This game constantly flies directly against US revenge culture which has always clashed heavily with Jesus's concept of forgiveness.

    This is why they don't offer a meaningful rebuttal to the message of this game, they just pick it apart like the babies picked apart The Last Jedi or Empire Strikes Back when they came out. The actual reaction to this game is what makes it a masterpiece more than the story itself.    … Expand

    The game is jist disappointing in everything category except visuals, the story is just absolutely terrible and rushed, gameplay gets boring and repetitive, and the ending is just an overall slap in the face. ND really dropped the ball here, its like for 6 of the 7 years they didn't do amything but sit behond their desks and play gallaga.

    Un très grand moment de jeu vidéo. Fan absolu du premier opus que je suis, je n'ai été déçu de cette suite à aucun instant . Le jeu est beau (dans le fond , comme dans sa forme). Les personnages sont toujours terriblement attachants. Le gameplay est bien meilleur que dans le premier volet, notamment sur les phases de combat et d'infiltration, merveilleusement bien rythmées. Mais surtout siUn très grand moment de jeu vidéo. Fan absolu du premier opus que je suis, je n'ai été déçu de cette suite à aucun instant . Le jeu est beau (dans le fond , comme dans sa forme). Les personnages sont toujours terriblement attachants. Le gameplay est bien meilleur que dans le premier volet, notamment sur les phases de combat et d'infiltration, merveilleusement bien rythmées. Mais surtout si le jeu m'a autant marqué , c'est bien pour son histoire haletante du début à la fin (malgré quelques longueurs). L'histoire se finit d'ailleurs de façon particulièrement émouvante , en d'autres termes les larmes ont coulé à flots de mon coté ! Le jeu confirme encore une fois le talent irréprochable que possède Naughty dog et en partculier Neil Drukman, à nous raconter à nous les joueurs , des histoires aussi captivantes et profondément touchantes dans un jeu vidéo .     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is receiving way to hate. First of all the gameplay, mechanics, graphics and audio are incredible. This alone deserves a score of 7/10. Now for the story. Naughty dog did an incredible job at showing how every action comes with a price. Joel’s death obviously caused Ellie and Tommy wanting revenge but also made Abby feel like **** and she was looking for redemption. The revenge plot is really dull and there’s usually not much to it. But when you play as Abby you get to see both side of the story. And then you realize Joel had it coming he doomed humanity for selfish reasons. This is where you get thrown into the emotional rollercoster. It comes to a point where you care for both sides and you are forced to play one off them to kill the other. For exemple knowing that Ellie killed Owen and seeing how in love Abby and him were was heartbreaking. And thats why I loved it. You feel the pain, you understand their actions, you realize that everyone is normal human beings who went trough hell and are living in this rough apocalyptic world were the only thing that really matters is survival.
    Now the reason I am rating the game 9/10 is that the story lacks purpose. You finish the game and realize that revenge gives you nothing and thats what your left with at the end .... nothing, no pride or feeling of accomplishment. Im hoping that there is a last of us 3 that can give reason to all of this chaos.

    The other thing that annoyed me a little is the LGBTQ aspect. I have nothing against it and it makes sens that Ellie is gay. But then seeing Abby who is quoting Tommy “built like an ox” and that Lev was Lily and that's why he ran away makes me feel like they’re trying just a little too hard. Like why couldn’t Lev have multiple personalities or something.

    All in all this game is amazing and everyone should play it simply to experience the way it makes you feel. I haven’t seen another game that was able to accomplish this.    … Expand

    Joguei 20h até o momento e o jogo é muito bom. Vc sente que está jogando uma continuação de fato, principalmente pela mecânica da fameplay, bem semelhante. A imagem é linda, a história é extremamente envolvente, emocionante e o jogo te coloca em um mix de sentimentos muito doido, Tbm tem alguns plot twists e acontecimentos chocantes. Dá pra entender a motivação dos personagens e o que elesJoguei 20h até o momento e o jogo é muito bom. Vc sente que está jogando uma continuação de fato, principalmente pela mecânica da fameplay, bem semelhante. A imagem é linda, a história é extremamente envolvente, emocionante e o jogo te coloca em um mix de sentimentos muito doido, Tbm tem alguns plot twists e acontecimentos chocantes.     Terminei o jogo: primeiro fiquei desolada, como se tivesse vivido tudo aquilo pessoalmente, depois começei a processar e perceber a GENIALIDADE dessa jornada, como foram capazes de nos fazer sentir tudo e nos mostrar "na pele" algumas conslusões. Forte. Incrível. Faz vc se sentir desconfortável até entender tudo que aconteceu e acho que algumas pessoas não entenderam como o desenvolvimento dos personagens e suas motivações foram de fato coerentes, inclusive levando em conta suas emoçoes e contexto do apocalipse    … Expand

Story moves at a slow pace, plot decisions Naughty Dog made have divided the fan base, for me I was disappointed in having to play as Abby, given that Neil Drunkmann said you would only play as Ellie. Too many QTE events in the game for my liking, if I'm honest I am finding this much more common place in some of the Sony 1st party games.Gorgeous looking game even on the based model PS4. Too many QTE events in the game for my liking, if I'm honest I am finding this much more common place in some of the Sony 1st party games.

    What made Last of Us part 1 a masterpiece was the journey taken by Joel and Ellie. The game feels complete with their journey ending after the Joel says “ I swear”.

    Here, the journey is worthless. Ellie goes on a killing spree trying to get to the person who did wrong to her. At the end of this killing spree, she did find her(Abby) and let her go…. What in the actual **** is that ???

    Is Ellie feeling remorse and finding redemption? **** no, that’s NOT the Ellie we loved in part 1.
    This nullifies the journey.
    I am going to forget that Part 2 existed in Last of Us world.

    For me, after part 1, Joel and Ellie happily lived and died in the Jackson, possibly by a clicker :) , even that would have made better emotional story.    … Expand

    Instant Masterpiece!! If I could put a 100 score I will do it, ignore the bad review (Xbox players, kids, haters, trolls...) this is the next level game we were waiting, the attention to detail is astonishing. Much better than his predecessor in all aspects Graphics, AI, history, gameplay, ambient sound, animations. I must play for anyone who love the first game or like stealth/ survival.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is amazing when Joel & Ellie are on screen, but the other characters just aren’t interesting even though the game wants them to be. Instead of fleshing out the tattered relationship between Joel & Ellie, we get snippets of it and a whole lot of forced emotional moments that just don’t hit home. We haven’t traveled with these characters enough to care when they eventually die. Key characters make a return from the original and play little to no part here. Tommy is held to yet another small role that makes an occasional appearance just to remind you here’s still around. Joel’s role is pretty much a whipping post for Ellie’s emotions. He’s scalded for 95% of his screen time and doesn’t really ever explain why he did what he did to Ellie in person. Instead, we are forced into SJW warfare with lesbian, woman-power, men suck and must die injected into our eyeballs for most of the game. Although, the game isn’t bad it just doesn’t hold up to the original story-wise. Gameplay wise is a different story. The mechanics are expanded and work well. The game is intense and brutal as expected. Although, Ellie and Abby control virtually the same which is a big disappointment considering the vastly different styles portrayed in the great cutscenes. Lastly, the soundtrack just doesn’t have the heart and feeling of the original. When you heard the original soundtrack you felt everything the composer wanted you to feel. Here the soundtrack is virtually absent outside of a few moments. I will say the song Joel sings at the beginning really packs a emotional punch, but ND Ruins it by going back to it several times during the game.… Expand

    where you could leave the revenge behind you and live a life with Dina and JJ.

As a friend of mine, Arthur Morgan, once said, "revenge is a fool's game" and this game showed that. In a post-apocalyptic world nothing is black and white-- everything falls into the morally grey. This was seen with Joel in the first game through Joel's comments on his past and his action of saving Ellie. As for the LGBT "pandering," I did not find it too intrusive and I'm a conservative Christian. My only criticism of it was that it was a little immersion-breaking at times. What are the odds that you would meet 2 lesbians, 1 transgender person, and 2 pregnant women over the course of 3 days? They are MUCH lower than the game makes them out to be. Seems a bit unrealistic in my opinion. So, as mentioned previously, this game as a package was a truly awesome experience and regardless of what you've heard it will be worth the 60 dollar price tag.… Expand

    Clearly, the people review bombing this game are used to getting exactly what they want. How often do you play a tragic hero? One whose flaws are insurmountable? One who would be at home in one of Shakespeare's plays? Oh, and she's a lesbian too?!

    The answer is never. Gamers play characters that are so one-dimensional that, when they finally do encounter a situation which requires them to be uncomfortable, they want to beat it with a flaming stick.

    The resulting hate is toxic. It's also baseless. First, there are the criticisms that TLOU2 has too much "diversity". Ellie is a lesbian, as shown in the 2014 expansion The Last of Us: Left Behind. Not only is it old news, but who cares? Dina, Ellie's girlfriend, is bisexual. The only other "diverse" character is Lev (biological female) who at 13 tells his sister that he wants to be a soldier and doesn't feel like the others, presumably meaning that he doesn't feel like a girl.

    That's it. That's the diversity. Three characters (I suppose four if you count the long-dead Riley) out of about 20. The game begins amid controversy when Ellie and Dina kissing publicly leads to a townsperson calling her a "dyke". Little did the directors know that many gamers would apparently be on the side of the bigot.

    Second, Joel dies early on - as was leaked and led to the majority of the review bombing. We come to love Joel, and seeing him die sucked. It really did. Which is exactly how the designers wanted you to feel. It's not what gamers want, and now they're throwing their petty little tantrums. If storytelling is eliciting strong emotions in people, then the designers hit the nail on the head, through this and other decisions. I was uncomfortable and disappointed when I had to play Abby after she had killed Jesse (and I thought Tommy too), but the directors slowly and masterfully make you empathize with her. By the end, Ellie seems like the bigger piece of **** and more worthy of death. That move is the most ambitious piece of storytelling a game developer has taken on in years.

    Third, both professional and user reviews say that characters are one-note and that they don't make sensible decisions. I agree with the criticism that the characters are one-note to some extent. It's a revenge story, and by necessity they need to, well, seek revenge. They're playing a part in an overall story. The story is on rails, unlike a lot of games these days where you get to decide the outcome of the player-character's life.

    As for Ellie's decisions making no sense, which is related to the one-note thing, consider that Joel is her only parental figure - he dies in front of her. Consider also that her first girlfriend / crush died in front of her - Ellie may have even had to kill her when she became infected - and she was a child at the time. Ellie clearly has PTSD, as shown in the game. Her decisions may not make sense to people who were not children growing up in a warzone, but they make sense given the environment she grew up in and the things she had to do to survive. Consider the number of soldiers choosing to do multiple tours and leaving their families behind. Ellie's decisions are not abnormal. If anything, they make perfect sense.

    A final criticism I feel is worth addressing - the plot holes everyone is referring to. Reading into this further, it's that they don't like the ending where both Abby and Ellie spare each other's lives. One professional review even says that Ellie's decision process to spare Abby is not shown to the player. Ummm... did they not see Ellie's facial expression as she was drowning Abby? The fear, desperation, and growing disgust in what she was doing? Did they miss the flashback to Joel sitting peacefully, making her realize that it won't change how dead he is and that he eventually chose a life of peace?

    As for Abby... yeah, I'm sure tons of concentration camp survivors grabbed shotguns and started mowing down Nazis with their - oh wait, they were emaciated and weak and just wanted to GTFO. So was Abby. Apparently people don't like it when it's just another revenge story. And then they don't like it when there's no revenge and the characters actually go through some kind of transformation.

    People, don't believe the hate. This is the toxicity writhing its way through the American heart and finding its way into a masterfully told game. It's unfortunate that it comes at a time where the average person just can't take all that diversity and emotional depth. A thought - maybe that's exactly what they need. If the majority are bombing this game for the reasons above, I'm fine being part of the counterculture.

    I really liked the game's story, the characters, graphics and mechanics. It's a fitting ending to ellie's journey from an emotional teenager to an adult who is beginning to understand the meaning of perspectives and acceptance. Don't buy into the user reviews - play the game or watch the gameplay on YouTube and decide for yourself.

    We waited 7 years (Thank god it's not more than that) for this. I don't even know how to describe what they did here - they butchered, killed, and destroyed what was once the best story a video game can ever have. They just did an unnecessary death which is just really, really, really stupid. I do get that his death was coming, but woow, what a way to trash it. It's like watching Harry Potter movies without Harry Potter, and even worse, by killing him in the first 10 minutes of the film and rub his death on our faces, spat and rudely tease it. That's how stupid the story is. And then they try to let us empathize with a character we literally do not even care or have any idea about. You just made the #1 game in my opinion, to the worst game ever. I am so disappointed.

    God, I tried so hard to avoid any spoilers, but holy **** if I did see any, I would have NEVER bought this game. It belongs to the trash.

    In the end, is there any "Ellie" there in the real world who might want to start a revenge plot against this game's director? Count me in if there is. (this is a joke, but wow I cannot measure the level of anger I got from this game).    … Expand

It seems like game wants to get you to like Abby and it tried very hard that you are forced to play her for a very long time. This where it gets wrong when you buy a ticket for your favorite music concert but you get tricked because you expected your favorite singer to be there and he is but decide to give the stage to someone else unknown to you. When Abby breaks into the theater and confronts Ellie the game takes you way back in time and I was not planning to play 10 hours of her but the game force you anyway. While playing as her all that is going through my mind is what is going to be the outcome at the theater which I had to wait very long time. It is like when you are watching your favorite movie and you get to the climax you have been waiting for and then you get hit by an ad- that is what it felt like. I got no interest in Abby or her story after she killed Joel just take me to the theater. But no the game decided to get you on Abby sides by playing 10 hours of her. At times it was like maybe this is it but wait there is more and more. I feel like I played more as Abby than Ellie. 2020 could not get any worse and devloper decided to do this.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. بازی در زمینه گیم پلی و گرافیک فوق العاده عمل میکنه و داستان هم با اینکه حفره هایی داره و برخی از شخصیت ها اضافی یا بدون شخصیت پردازی صحیح هستن یا در برخی مواقع فمنیسم یا موارد دیگه تو بازی بزرگنمایی میشه(مثل بازوهای ابی که همزات پنداری با اون رو هم سخت میکنه) اما در مجموع به نظرم از هسته داستانی خوبی بهره مند هست که نشان دهنده جرئت سازنده هست و هم چنان مثل قسمت اول بازیکن رو در یک مضمون پیچیده اخلاقی میذاره و داستان و جلوه متفاوتی از انتقام به نمایش میذاره هر چند متفاوت بودن همیشه مبنی بر بهتر بودن نیست اما به نظرم اگر در اندکی در پرداخت ابی حوصله بیشتری خرج می شد شاید داستان بالاتر از قسمت اول هم خودش رو نشون می داد با اینحال در کنار تمام فاکتور های دیگه و با چشم پوشی از برخی ضعف های عجیب در داستان که از دراکمن بعید بود اما این جرئت و موارد دیگری مثل گرافیک بی مانند و گیم پلی بسیار روان که پلیر رو پای بازی نگه میداره باعث میشه که نمره 10 رو برای بازی حداقل از دیدگاه من کسب بکنه و اون تنفری که نسبت به داستان به وجود اماده رو هم قابل درک تر بکنه… Expand

When I heard all the rumours about TLOU2, I was really concerned and disappointed. I very nearly didn't buy the game, for fear of it ruining my experience of the first game. In the end I decided to trust in naughty dog based on their track record, and I decided to accept one particular early plot point I had heard about.

    In doing this, having the mindset not to resist the story, revealed the game, and its a remarkable one, but its also very tough to play at times. Characters you like are questioned and you are questioned about characters you don't like. There are many twists and you find yourself often doing things you originally wanted to do that now you don't, and the game doesn't really hold and punches. At the end of it, you feel kind of like you are left holding lose ends and it takes a while to process the whole thing, but I really do think that naughty dog have created something as profound as the first game. Ironically, given the themes, there are some that are unable to question what they think and feel, and their reaction is hate - which to me is life imitating art.

    I really hope that naughty dog find a way to round off some of the edges for these people (i think a very vocal minority) in some DLC - I sort of see why they feel as they do but i think it's for emotional reasons not rational ones - because I want a final game. TLOU1 sat well on its own, TLOU2 doesn't - it's the dark second chapter in a trilogy with an uplifting end. To end on the notes of TLOU2 would be deeply sad and hugely unsatisfying.    … Expand

El nuevo sistema de combate más ágil y los nuevos tipos de enemigos hacen que la acción sea más dinámica y tengas que buscar nuevas maneras de enfrentar la situación. Es un juego muy valiente, trata muchos de los temas sociales polémicos de hoy en día y lo hace sin ningún tipo de sutileza. Es un juego cruel, crudo, explícito, con una atmósfera que te atrapa mejor que lo hacía su primera parte y hace que te vayas bastante tocado a la cama. Subjetivamente te podrán gustar más o te podrán gustar menos ciertos acontecimientos de la historia, pero precisamente es un juego que busca incomodar (tanto por tus acciones en el gameplay como en las cinemáticas) y vaya si lo consigue. Por supuesto eso es algo que no gusta a todo el mundo y me parece bastante entendible, al igual que hay películas que son incómodas de ver y no todo el mundo es capaz. No es un juego fan service y eso es algo bastante atrevido. Personalmente no acabo de encontrarle el sentido al final del juego y tiene un bajón de ritmo muy bestia en cierto momento que puede cortarte el rollo hasta que vuelve a subir un poco. Sin embargo sigue siendo una maravilla de juego que se atreve a hacer que el jugador sienta cosas que ningún otro juego se ha atrevido a hacer (por lo menos a este nivel).     Amazing experience. It's forces you out of your comfort zone and make you look at multiple points of view. I finished the game feeling conflicted, but I think that was the point. Masterpiece.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Хочется начать с того, что эта игра не для спидрана, если вы проходили всю игру за суки, мне вас искренне жаль. Мое прохождение заняло 35 часов, если бы я эту игру быстро пробегал на минимальном уровне сложности, я бы ее возненавидел, она слишком долгая (говорю по опыту с первыми тремя не такими большими играми серии Uncharted). Проходить игру на YouTube или пробегать лишь бы увидеть финальные титры, а потом бежать на Metacritic- кощунство.
    Я получал нереальное удовольствие от атмосферы, геймплея, саундтрека, и конечно же сюжета (к нему вернемся позже), который подарил много эмоций. Каждый бой приносил удовольствие от его детальной проработки и напряжения, которое создает игра. Глобально геймплей не изменился, но из-за новых механик, больших и вертикальных локаций, ощущается превосходно и дарит много интересных ситуаций. Вообще это, наверное, самая жестокая и откровенная игра на данный момент. В игре много жестоких моментов и насилия, от многих даже перекашивает, настолько хорошо. Так, что заявления разработчиков о насилии полностью оправданы.
    Теперь к важной части – сюжету. Основной сюжет стартует после убийства Джоэла. Тут претензия только в том, что старый Джоэл только появляется и почти стразу погибает. Не совсем было понятно кого мы теряем, за 5 лет персонаж изменился. Было бы неплохо, если бы показали утро Джоэла, как они патрулировали с Томми и как нарвались на Эбби. Да, игра была бы еще больше, но, с другой стороны, эту ситуацию исправляют флешбэки, правда ближе к концу игры.
    Элии порой сложно понять, за нее приходится делать вещи, которые делать не особо хочется. Она одержима! Впрочем, в этом и смысл, так что в этом нет ничего плохого. К концу игры мы сильнее понимаем её мотивацию, хоть и не хочется принимать её позицию. Элли заплатила огромную цену за то, что уже не исправить. Никакая природа, вирус или ещё что-то не убивает человека во всех смыслах так, как это делает сам человек. И умение прощать- некий лучик надежды на то, что в Элии осталась человечность.
    Я не знаю какой психологический барьер мешал людям полюбить Эбби. Мне она понравилась, как и желание сценариста показать другую сторону конфликта.
    Мне игра очень понравилась, она подарила кучу эмоций. Слабее ли сюжет, чем в первой части? И да и нет. Качество сюжета в первой части задало высокую планку. Но вторая часть подарила гораздо больше эмоций и впечатлений. Игра достаточно индивидуальна. Игрок может в нее влюбиться или наоборот возненавидеть. Но она ни как не заслуживает такого говна, которое на нее льется. Говорю Naughty Dog спасибо и желаю им ни в коем случае не опускать руки и удачи в их следующем проекте.
    И да мне конечно же мне лично заплатил Нил Дракманн, чтобы я купил его игру и поставил ей высокую оценку.

    Such attention to detail didn't thought possible. Excellent gameplay. Thought provoking story. The only problem is all other games will feel too "gamey". Only hope to be able to enjoy something of a similar caliber in the future from Naughty Dog or some other developer, because there is a feeling that such high production values are not economical anymore.     I don't really understand bad ratings of this game for me it's great story showed with beautiful graphic, a lot of details in realistic citi's model. Gameplay is also great and really elaborate.

This game was to me exactly what I was expecting, a sequel on an existing story, staying true to the original lure and deviating enough to be new. I actually liked the story, it made me contemplate the cycle of vengeance and it's futility. I thought it was daring to depict the story from both sides, blurring the line between "good guys" and "bad guy". By the end of the game the fight between Ellie and Abby was a representation of the conflict within myself. And I love that. I thought it was daring to include a same sex relationship and go even beyond that (where funny enough nobody is talking about). I believed in the love story and that rare in videogames, usually I cringe. Not so in the Last of Us II.

    I liked the characters, yes also the new ones. I didn’t mind playing as the new character. I would even go so far as saying that without the switch in playable character it would not have felt as special as it does now. But I must admit that besides the handful of main characters, the others will fade from my memory soon enough. But a handful is enough for me.

    The gameplay has not changed which is a shame. And dont get me started about aiming; I could not for the life of me find a sensitivity setting which I could comfortly work with.

    The length of the game was no issue for me. Usually if I like a game I will spend hundreds (if not thousands) of hours playing it. So 25-30 hours, it will always seem to short to me.

    For me the Last of Us II gets a solid 8/10    … Expand

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
