    Mejor juego de la generación. Historia profunda con mensaje poderoso. A nivel técnico y jugable, perfecto. Se necesita mucha madurez para digerir la historia y aceptar el plot, si bien se pone demasiado anticlimático un par de veces.

    Such a politic and tolerant **** is getting me so nervous and so annoying! I hope I really hope that that kind of activities will end soon.

    I love the diverse representation in this game, love the graphics and the game play, I wish I could say that this game is great because that would be amazing and encouraging for a game with this level of diversity.     The issue with this game is not the story itself, it's not the characters, or even the event that happens early on which angered everyone (I personally think that needed to happen for the game to exist)
    The problem is how the story has been told, it's the pacing, it's simply the sheer amount of time you are forced to play as an unrelatable , unlikable character. They could have told this characters part of the story in a quarter of the time they did (or going back and forth between this character and Ellie) and it honestly would have been more effective.

    I can see why so many are disappointed with this game, what could have been something great was completely ruined by how the story was told. The heavy handed approach and trying to force empathy just had the opposite effect and made you feel frustrated and bored with the game.
    This is the real reason I believe the game has had such a bad reception from the community it was made for, on top of that, the contrasting high reviews from critics just angers the community more and really shows how disconnected critic reviews are these days. It feels like we can't even honestly express our displeasure with something without being told we're "wrong".

    At the end of the day, we're all just disappointed with a game we were so invested in emotionally and had so much potential to be great.    … Expand

Those who played the game remember that scene where THE pendejo spits on Joel’s body. I literally felt that spit in my face as a fan of the first game. I think that 4/10 is a fair score for this title considering the visuals and technology behind the game. But the visuals is not everything. Extremely disappointed.… Expand

FIRST PARAGRAPH HAS SPOILERS This game is the game of the year for sure, it has a great story even making the player sympathize with Joel’s killer and if you don’t, you surely sympathize with Lev and consequently you don’t want Abby to die. You end this game completely destroyed because you don’t know if you want Ellie to win or Abby to win and you feel what the characters are dealing with for example when you see Abby getting to the surgery room and seeing her dad dead, you feel bad for her, when Ellie is in Santa Barbara, you see that she is broken, you see that she doesn’t care about anything anymore and she even has things written on her book saying that she regrets going to Santa Barbara and wanted to turn back.

    The gameplay is better then the previous one, because the new features that were added (crouching and dodging) work perfectly and makes the gameplay look real and with very human movements, when you play it you actually say “that’s what I would do” Gameplay 10/10 The graphics, facial expressions and the ambience are the best ever made
    10/10 The story is great and it has a meaning, which is something the first one didn’t have, because although it is also a great story, it’s a very well made genetical adventure story, TLOU2 in may opinion has a story that is slightly better then the previous one because of that, this sequel is a lot darker then the first one and I think that was a great change since it reflects what goes on in both protagonist’s minds, but the only problem of the story was that. It was a really well written story and it’s only not a 10/10 because of what I’m going to say on the next paragraph Story 9/10 Actually I would give this game a 9.7 because there are some minimal details that were unnecessary such as Mel being pregnant, I thought that was only to shock the player since her not being pregnant wouldn’t change nothing in the story and also the fact that they had to make Joel kinda stupid to

    Before I state why I liked the game, I would like to implore that everyone play the game before making their own opinions based off of other reviews and leaks. As a gaming community, we should be striving to make better efforts to lift each other up, not tear each other down.

    In my own opinion, everything about this game was an experience. From the opening scene with Joel explaining his past decisions to Tommy to the last few moments of the game, it took me on a journey most would find very difficult to watch. This is a game about violence, revenge, anger and malice, and how all these things can take tremendous tolls on a life. We get to see something terrible happen to a character we adore, and how this act drives other characters we love to do terrible, inhumane things. this game was not created just to please anyone who can move a joystick and press buttons. Its goal is to take the gamer on a journey in which they are able to see things in a new perspective. For me, The Last of Us Part II is not only a wonderful game, but an experience that taught me many lessons that I will cherish forever.

    There's so much more I would love to talk about, but I sadly have to stay within the guidelines of length for the review. With that being said, I hope that everyone goes and picks up this, in my opinion, masterclass of a game and allow yourself the right to your OWN opinion.    … Expand

    É simplesmente incrível o que ND consegue fazer com o ps4, o jogo em toda sua performance expande e supera de forma brutal Unsharted 4. Tommy could have been the one that died while Joel and Ellie set out for revenge with Joel dying a hero in arthur morgan style. But no, instead we get a buffed up chick to appeal to trans folks killing joel in the first two hours of the game, we play half the game as abby, and when we finally think we'll get retribution and kill abby...meh...we decide to let her go.     The graphics of this game are astonishing. It blows out of the water anything else I've seen this console generation. From the eerie rooms full of spores to the beautiful open fields and mountains, the detail put into every single environment makes it feel so damn real and the immersion is never broken. This is impossible to really put into words, it just needs to be experienced.

    The gameplay is in many ways better than the original. The core experience of "explore, loot, combat, cinematic" is there, but it’s been taken to the next level to create these mini arcs that, combined with the scenery and the storyline, become very memorable. I praise the addition of the Lock-On Aim feature, being primarily a PC player, this made my experience much more enjoyable. Also, their difficulty settings are one of the best I’ve seen in any game, period. They allowed me to fine tune the experience to my liking: lots of ammo and resources, but extremely deadly enemies. Having the ability to balance the game to your liking is a HUGE PLUS.

    The amount of environmental puzzles may seem lacking at first. But it’s because the best puzzles in the game are optional. Instead of an obvious ladder or bin that needs to be moved around, a good portion of the puzzles are hidden behind the placement of enemies and the layout of the levels. But don’t fret, they kept a few ladders and bins here and there, it’s the Last of Us after all. Safe boxes are not awfully hard to solve, but each one of them bring a small nugget of storytelling that always feels fresh.

    The story of this game is what EVERYONE is complaining about. By the way, even if the story was complete garbage, I’d still give this game 9/10 just based on what I’ve mentioned before. I understand that this story is not for everyone, and I respect that, but for me, it was absolutely masterful. Throughout the entire game I FELT what Ellie felt and I also FELT what her enemies felt. This game grabbed me by the hand and started running at light speed and it trusted I could run along with it. It took me to emotional places that NO OTHER MEDIA has ever been able to show me. I praise Naughty Dog for their commitment to their characters and their passion for showing the world their vision. The Last of Us Part 2 is a story about FORGIVENESS, not REVENGE like everyone says. But that’s just my take on it, I’m no expert.

    Just because I’ve heard other people talking about this. I never felt any SJW or political agenda being pushed. Avenger’s Endgame girl power shot was waaaaaay worse than anything you’ll see in this game.

    This is my first review and probably the last one I'll ever write. The fact that I'm even writing this review means that I care enough to take the time to go through this. This score reflects my honest opinion of the game, and it would be a 10/10 even if the average user score was 10.0. For those who are ready to have an open mind and forget about all the BS around it, give this game a chance, it's worth every penny.    … Expand

    Could of worked as its own stand alone game, but as a sequel to arguably the greatest story driven game ever released. The writing and the execution is abysmal. I was genuinely surprised at how poor the story was... graphics & audi the only positives at all.

    One of the worst ps4 games I've ever had the displeasure of playing. I was very excited to buy this on its release, but was met with an surprising amount of boredom. The positives are obvious, the game looks good and has nice animations. I want to focus on the story of the game (the main appeal imo). It is terrible...     The characters are detestable, they fail to create empathy for anyone except tommy. The climax is anticlimactic and makes no sense. For me this game is an astronomical trash. Graphically it is good, the soundtrack is good, the gameplay is good, but the stage design and the distribution of elements in it is horrible.

The story is different. It's a story of revenge and it gives you everything in a brutally violent way. Wouldn't it be boring to be like the previous one? Again, it's not easy to make a game like the first one. For those who were also did not like what happened and Ellie got angry, something important had to be done to make the game exist. So those of you who want to buy it keep in mind that the gameplay, although similar to the previous one, is very good, in terms of sound and graphics and the story and the whole theme of the game is a little darker so don't expect most moments to be happy. .

    Also (spoiler) if you think about it those who say that the end of the game does not make sense and that it cancels everything that Ellie did and in the first what happened? They intended to go to the Fireflies and hand over Ellie for treatment, but this did not happen.

    Also, those of you who ask about whether Multiplayer is worth it, you don't get the last of us for the multiplayer mode, but for the campaign.

    I was so excited for the second part of the series but it turned out to be a big disappointment, I would give credit for the hard work they did on graphical aspects, combat development and overall atmosphere/theme but the story was awful in so many ways.     Fantastic game, much better than the first, the second half while not as good as the first is still fantastic a must buy game! My only regret is that people on other consoles will not be able to experience this masterpiece!

    This game is not good. It has a 2/10 story with 6/10 gameplay. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but if you want to waste 30 hours with bad storytelling, a bit of bad level design, fetch quests, suggish combat, occasional enemy spam, but some good horror + good setpieces, have a ball.

When it comes to graphics this game pushes it it is a beautiful game that in itself should already give this game of 3 out of 10 even a 4. As for game play it feels like a minor upgrade to the first game so I can't really promote that. and I honestly don't recall ever needing to use the jump button more then a few times so I don't know why that was being bragged about. just to get anything good I have to say about the game out of the way aside from the graphics I would have to say are some flashback scenes and that's it, the flashbacks were my favorite part of the whole game. the reason I hate this game and I'm going to try my best not to spoil even though people should know by now our characters just not themselves. I don't care if a character is lesbian trans blah blah all I care about is a good story and the message you're trying to deliver. Characters from the first game I feel like completely just forget what they stood for and how they acted, like some characters are super paranoid and cautious are just stupid and welcoming to anyone giving out their name and location it just seems out of character. Despite the trailers lying about certain things none of the new characters seem particularly interesting to me I honestly tried giving them a chance and I tried to see it from the other characters perspective and I just couldn't relate, I couldn't defend all the bad crap they were doing. giving me control to do bad things didn't make me feel good either. honestly the ending killed it for me as well the whole story is about getting something and not getting it basically what lesson is there to learn? I just feel like there wasn't much love put into this one as the last one and I was reading both negative and positive reviews and like I said yes both sides can bomb and exaggerated but I think all the people that genuinely truly loved the first game or enjoyed it would have a problem with this one. There is no defending it all the way this game has problems I could even go as far as to say it's a 6 out of 10 but anyone giving this game a 10 out of 10 and even a 9 out of 10 is out of their mind if you think this game holds a candle to the first game to God of war 4 and Zero Dawn and other great games there are other plenty better games than this one that deserve a 10 out of 10 and most likely don't have it. I wish we lived in a world where people were blinded by greed and stupidity and just admit things so that we can have a better experience for future things to come. Let Naughty dog know this game is trash and it could have been better because if you support this game then of course they're just going to make another one and probably not learned their lesson this game might have been better as a movie and obviously I am no grammar school person over here I'm actually using text to speech but anyways I give this game a zero because my expectations were indeed high and they were crushed and even the little moments didn't want me to give it any more than that because for me it was a great disappointment and it just feels like a joke so I do want this game to be known by many that there are more people that don't like it then do so for any person that somehow managed to read any of this please spread this to other people stop them from buying this trash game.… Expand

    Such a great gameplay and soundtrack is totally ruined by a bad writing. The plot is just a horrible, violent thing to do to your fanbase. It's wrong in every possible way. I'm feeling sorry for every other person who thought they're gonna play another great Joel and Ellie adventure in post apocalyptic America.

    I am always impressed by how some people managed to take a chunk of gold and produce a piece of sh**. i mean it really takes some skill (or an idiot) to achieve that. Game is fine but the story not and this is a story game.

The game has a nice development, it's precious, but you don't read a book just because it's maked of gold, you read a book for what it contents.     Love playing this as much as the first. The leaks/theories were only half correct (thank God), so don’t worry. This game gets your adrenaline going as well as keeps you on your toes. The game-play is long enough where you definitely feel as though ya got your money's worth. Great graphics, great sound, great game-play mechanics, intuitive controls and story.     - Control and animation are perfect. Responsive, believable, fluid
    - Combat and stealth approach MGS3 levels of openness.
    - Crafting, weapon, and character upgrades constantly create tough decisions (on Hard difficulty)
    - Lengthy campaign with no filler
    - Transitions in and out of gameplay are beyond seamless. Past Naughty Dog games have excelled at this, but LoU Part II blows even them out of the water. This feels like a landmark for interactive content for the game direction alone.
    - Environments are varied and memorable, though some interiors begin to look familiar (lots of pipes and industrial rooms)
    - Set pieces are thrilling, particularly due to the direction

    Story
    - Hinging the story around Joel’s decision at the end of Part I adds weight to everything in both games

There very little use of natural lightning, such as sunlight, which is in stark contrast to previous games such as Uncharted 4/TLL or even The Last of Us 1. The color palette is quite limited. Definitely prefer to look of the TLoU1 over TLoU2.

    Story: Regarding the story, well.....The original game is about hope and the search for a cure where progress through a world filled with clickers and in which nature is slowly reclaiming its territory. Instead, TLoU2 aims to provide a deepening of the character Ellie and the struggles she goes through. Additionally, it introduces a new main character Abby. There is a pararell to found among these two. You play in a quest for revenge, from the perspective of both characters. However, the main issue here is that everything is a complete mess. The story feels far-fetched. You play as a murder machines, graphically killing off hundreds. I found it difficult to sympathize for with the characters because you have no influence on moral values; everything is forced upon you. I simply could not care for the main characters in the way I did in the original.

    The gameplay aspect is largely what to expect from a Naughty Dog game. Honestly, I have little complaints here.

    Then there is the lgbt aspect: I did not mind it for the most part. Still, it was all a bit much up to a point that it just felt weird, making me question what the point of it all is. Are they trying to make a statement here? Is a video game really the best way to do this? Just felt a bit extreme at times.

    Overall conclusion: The story is told ineffectively and I was unable to care for the main characters, something the original was so good it. The world is fairly dull-looking (although graphically incredibly impressive), as part of the overall theme the game is going for. It has a very hard time justifying why the tone is so dark. Left me disappointed and unsatistied.    … Expand

    Based on the lou1 this a forgetfull game . Horrible plot the ending is meaningless. I don't think they delivered anything the writing is bad they didn't develop Tommy's character or others .I feel like they pushed way to much the theme of revenge. Even Sasuke would found this appalling.

Ich würde dem Spiel eine 3 von 10 geben aber diese überzogenen positiven Reviews sorgen dafür das eine 0 von 10 wird.... besonders von den "Kritikern" die zu meist nur das nachlabern was die Entwickler selbst über ihr spiel sagen. Das Joel stirbt hat mir persönlich nicht gefallen, war aber zu erwarten... nur wie er gestorben ist... durch den zweiten Haupcharacter der aus dem nichts kommt. Die ganze Rachenummer ist auch okay, gut geschrieben, irrationale Handlungen, alles fein. Zudem gab es nur eine durchgehend positive Erinnerungssequenz mit Joel und Elli... als ob das Spiel versucht dir Elli madig zu machen, selbst das war noch okay, weils relastisch ist, nachdem Vertrauensbruch..... aber dann Abby in ihrem Spielteil als Engel von Verdun darzustellen, die dann zum letzen Zweikampf gezwungen wurde.... ohne witz nein... das is schlechtes Storytelling.... besonders da in der letzten Rückblicksequenz Elli nichtmal Joe umarmt hat.... und ohne hin jetz ohne alles da steht.

    Was habe ich erwartet:
    - Elli gameplay mit Erinnerungen der letzen Jahre und eine eventuelle Versöhnung mit Joel.

Naughtydog should be ashamed of themselves. I am willing to bet that the leaks came from someone who saw what they were doing to the story, absolutely hated it, couldn't change anyone's mind, and ratted them out for revenge. Oh yes ....its pretty to look at, which is why I didn't give it a zero. But the story, characters, pacing, and the gratuitous violence (and yes, you have to kill dogs) make it unplayable. The continuous cycle of revenge seeking between the main characters is not an original ideal but was still ok in its own right. The relationship between Ellie and Dina had promise but the devs seemed to rush things at the end making Dina seem kinda whiney and selfish. The killing off of Joel so early in the game did rub me the wrong way and then having to play as his murderer Abby for half the game was added fuel to the fire. I understand it was to avenge her dad but her pops was going to dissect a little girls brain and then have Joel murdered as soon as they got to mercy hospital makes me feel like he had it coming. Abby did have some bright spots in her play through but most of the time it was her confiming how I really felt that she was a cold hearted turd and didnt have much else going for her. The fighting was sharper but still basically the same as part 1. To be honest my favorite scenes involved Ellie and Joel whether it was present time or flashback sequences and after beating the game I went back and played part 1 again to realise how many little things I missed. One thing in particular was a scene with Ellie telling Sam how she was afraid of being all alone one day right before he turned into a runner then coming full circle with that fear at the end of part 2. Also the rattlers were just thrown in there as bullet fodder with out having a stand alone boss fight or baddy to take down like David in part 1. All in all part 1 gave me great memories with awesome character development and then part 2 stole it all away.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Absolutely fantastic continuation of the series. It’s a sad sight to see all the fake user review scores from people who clearly haven’t even played the game themselves.

    This builds on everything that made the first game great in almost every way. Every gameplay mechanic has been enhanced, with some great additions to the core gameplay mechanics, with more options for stealth, weapon upgrades, new craftables etc.

    During the 2nd part of the game my mind had 100% hatred for Abby, I kept telling myself there was no way I could ever like her, well I was wrong, as by the end, her character just made sense, the reasons and motivations for doing what she did, and her chance to redeem herself was very well played out. END SPOILERS - At the end scene it could have gone either way, but I was actually somewhat happy it ended the way it did. Going the other direction would have just sparked another revenge story. I think they made the right call with the ending decision.    … Expand

    About story - 2/10. I didn't expect Joel to get killed. Playing as Abby? Really?
    Gameplay 4/10. Nothing new.
    Graphics - 6/10. Pretty basic.

    The graphics are really good and show what the ps4 can do...but the rest is...just fine...okay...nothing special. Compared to Part 1... pretty avarage. And forcing player to play a character you don't want to play because to make a point... no thanks.
    The first rule of gamedesign ist...the game must be fun to play and you don't get this by forcing players to things that are NOT fun!     The game is absolutely incredible, I liked every aspect of it. The problem with reviews is that people expected that Naughty dog would surprise them with brand new story but it is has “part two“ in its title, some parts of the story are obvious as the game continues the story of the first part.     Great game. Don’t listen to the Haters. I replayed the first one just a couple weeks ago. Everything is better about this sequel game other than aguably the story, and it’s not worse either... it was just already great, and this just feels like a continuation of that.

    For such an anticipated title following the masterpiece that is the first game, Part 2 could not have been a more disappointing game to play. Imagine waiting 7 years to find out what happened to our beloved characters, only to be told a mess of a story.     This game at it's core, is a beautiful and stunning game that Naughty dog developers poured blood and sweat over, but the story and agenda this game pushes completely overshadows this experience. It is even hard to imagine a "Part 3" and Naughty Dog has really hurt their brand and Last of US franchise with this game.

    A good comparison is this game is like Star Wars: The Last Jedi, where the movie itself did extremely well in sales, but alienated the audience and that could be seen in the next movies in the franchise where Disney decided to cancel spin off titles due to poor sales. I can not, in my good conscience, recommend this game, and save yourself the 60$ and watch a let's play on Youtube.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
