    I loved this game so freaking much! Honestly, I was not expecting such an interesting story and amazing plots... TLOU2 was a surprise for me, and I had a great time knowing the new characters and playing with Abby.

    Seriously, don't mind with the haters, they're just a bunch of weebs. TLOU2 is a masterpiece, such as the first game was.

    The Last of us 2 pegou o primeiro jogo e deu um significado absurdo para seu fim. Onde todo o segundo game gira em torno do fim do primeiro. E eles conseguem fazer isso com uma maestria incrível, em que eles conseguiram pegar meus sentimentos do primeiro jogo, e bagunçar todos eles, me fazendo sentir amor, ódio, cansaço e desespero.     Um jogo que consegue transmitir sentimentos de raiva, frustração, desconforto, empatia e o perdão.
    Esse jogo não é pra qualquer um que tem a mente fechada, esse jogo sem dúvida nenhuma merece uma nota 1000.
    Não é melhor que o primeiro jogo, mas com certeza vai transmitir os sentimentos que eu citei.

    Игру на старте очень много незаслуженно ругали,даже те кто наиграл максимум 3 часа от силы.И сразу бежали ставить ноли итд,от увиденного там.И оценка была 3 бала от игроков.Но с каждым днём оценка росла так как всё больше людей проходили игру и ставили более объективные оценки.Игра мне дико понравилось,графика,улучшенный геймплей,проработка мелких деталей.И лично мне понравился сюжет.ДаИгру на старте очень много незаслуженно ругали,даже те кто наиграл максимум 3 часа от силы.И сразу бежали ставить ноли итд,от увиденного там.И оценка была 3 бала от игроков.Но с каждым днём оценка росла так как всё больше людей проходили игру и ставили более объективные оценки.Игра мне дико понравилось,графика,улучшенный геймплей,проработка мелких деталей.И лично мне понравился сюжет.Да там есть моменты где я был удивлён,и не понимал данного решение сценаристы игры Нила Дракмана.Но всё же он у меня вызывал разные эмоции:удивление,злость,недопонимание итд.Это для меня это значит что над сюжетом старались,но я могу понять тех кому сюжет не понравился,или геймплей показался скучным.Но лично мне игра дико понравилось.И я ещё долго обсуждал сюжет и другие аспекты игры с друзьями.Моё мнение что Naughty Dog проделали великолепную работу.И я рад что Sony продолжает давать денег,и делать отличные сюжетные игры… Expand

    Best sequel ever created. An incredible continuation of Ellie's story. I don't understand why the game is so disliked. Can't there be a relationship between two girls in a post-apocalyptic world? Or or did you all give a low grade because of Dina's armpits? Let's see what kind of armpits you will have in a post-apocalyptic world.

    Wow! I expect this to be good because I was a huge fan of the first one, but this exceeded all expectations. I have nothing bad to say about this, it easily became one of my favorite games ever.
    I was shocked many times, I cried many times, but this game is just so emotional and raw! The graphics are the best currently out there (the facial mo-cap was simply amazing!) the voice acting is    Wow!     Столько эмоций испытываешь при прохождение, такого не давала ни одна игра! А то что девушка заставляла играть до 5 утра и не выспавшимся потом идти на работу, говорит о том, что в игре сильный сюжет!

    Fantastic gameplay, superb animation work, and unrivaled quality in and out of cinematics. Best in class story with every character well written. Only critique is the pacing is sometimes slow.

    Anyone who gives this game a 0 is NOT legit. Even if you hated the story, or the characters, or the gameplay, there is no way this game deserves a 0, or is "the worst game ever".
    I also see a lot of homophobes/transphobes out there hating on this game for having lesbian/trans characters.     That said, I personally really loved this game! I did not read any reviews or the leaks or anything, so I went into it blind as can be, and it was shocking and brutal and I loved every second of it!
    This game really made me think about who all these people are and what their reasons and motives are. If you want a game to blindly shoot and kill stuff, just play something else! There's a lot of story here and things that can be quite hard to stomach. It's definitely not an easy game to just play and have a good time with. It's a game that will haunt you forever, in the best ways.

    Wow, I am blown away by how good this game turned out. I just finished it last night and the ending left me feeling content but at the same time thinking. I love what they did with the characters, and the one controversial character death was absolutely fine with me. Yes it was a shocking moment (I cried a lot) but it drove the story forward and became the basis of the whole plot.

    Abby is a great new character. All it takes is getting over your initial hatred and realizing she is the same as Ellie, just a girl trying to survive and do what she thinks is best. She had good reason to do what she did. The ending really blew me away in how that dire and brutal story line could end on a bit more positive note but it really did it!
    Needless to say, the graphics, sound, animations, music and voice acting are all superb. This is already my game of the year, easily.    … Expand

    I am not a fan of "just games" where you brainlessly kill stuff or even sports game or puzzle games. I need games with a story, characters, character development and world building.     I am sorry for all the people who are mad now because some idiot leaked the story, and so people didn't have the context or experience of the game as it should have been, and those people go around leaving negative reviews everywhere now... it's sad, but that doesn't make this game worse.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Es un juego brillante, yo diria que lo mejor hasta ahora del año. Es un juego muy cruel, que no teme quitarte soportes desde un inicio, te rompe el corazon y ves como esa ellie dulce que aparecia en el TLoU 1 va perdiendo la cabeza de a poco en sed de vengarse. No es un juego perfecto, pero si muy bien logrado en todos aspectos, mensaje, empatia con personajes, musica, graficos, etc. Le daria 9,5.

    SPOILERS

    Muchos se quejas por la muerte de Joel diciendo que no fue heroica o trajica, pero no saben que todas las muertes son sin previo aviso o antiheroicas. Jesse muere en una cinematica como cualquier otra y en la misma cinematica nos dan a entender que Tommy tambien. No hay muertes valientes aca, es todo realista.
    La historia esta muy bien guionizada y escrita, sentis lastima y enojo por lo que sucede. Y el final es simplemente desolador, saber que Ellie renuncio a una vida de paz con Dina para matar a Abby cuando la habia dejado vivir 2 veces. Se quedo sin la daga que le dio su madre (que era lo unico que tenia ademas de la carta), sin 2 dedos que no dejan tocar la guitarra como antes y la unica cosa que le quedaba de Joel, pierde una oportunidad con Dina y se cumplio su mayor temor: estar sola.
    No solo eso, Tommy tambien lo perdio todo, Maria lo dejó, no puede usar una pierna, quedo ciego de un ojo y en lo ultimo que lo vimos, mando a Ellie a matarla a Abby.
    Lo unico que le agregaria es que Abby se de cuenta de las consecuencias que le trajo buscar venganza contra Joel, perdio todos sus amigos, inicio una guerra entre Scars y WLF por su culpa, (ya que Tommy mato unos Scars, y ellos pensaron que eran WLF), se convirtio en Joel mandando a todo su grupo a la mierda con tal de proteger a Lev y ni siquiera hay un dialogo de arrepentimiento o culpa o dandose cuenta que hizo lo que hizo Joel. Pero supongo que veremos eso si es que sacan un DLC o TLoU 3.
    En mi caso no empatice completamente con Abby pero si la entendí, y hasta senti que Ellie tenia que morir. Y Naughty Dog hizo bien su trabajo si dudaste aunque sea de que estaba pasando realmente y quien esta siendo mas humano y coherente.    … Expand

Mas pra mim não supera a história do primeiro, porém isso é gosto, cada um tem o seu. It expands on the gameplay and makes some bold, controversial but justified choices in the story and I think that it is all the better for them. Didn't read the reviews until I'd finished to avoid spoilers and I'm stunned at how half the internet seems to have it! The storytelling I thought was so clever and original. Initially when we went back a few days and relived the story as Abby I just couldn't wait to get back to the confrontation but seeing everything from Abby's perspective and seeing the hurt Ellie had caused really made me question whose side I was on.

    Joel's death was gruesome and horrendous, but Abby was trying to find vengeance for her father in the same way we had come to understand Ellie was. I was glad at the end that Ellie spared her. It seems there's no good guys and bad guys in the post apocalyptic world, just different shades of loss.

    Basically, I think I felt all the things the writers wanted me to feel and I wonder if maybe it was easier for me because I didn't play the first game (I just watched a recap on YouTube) so I wasn't quite as emotionally attached to Joel and Ellie as some other may have been.

    Story aside, so much of the game was immersive and visually stunning. Escaping from the scar island under the burning debris was incredible, as was much of the dark immersive parts with infected coming at you from nowhere, and the intensity of the sniper scene where you feel angry when he kills Manny only for you to then discover it's Tommy.

    It felt like a level of storytelling that wouldn't be possible in a film and for the first time in a very long time I was disappointed when the game ended and I wanted more.

    I "beat" the game. I don't know if that's the right term. You don't beat it. It beats you in concussive jolts you don't wish to strike, the alternative choices you desperately want these people to make, and through the entirety of the journeys of 2 characters who are, in the end, 2 sides of the same coin. Both look into the darkness, but one is hoping to find the light of grace that wasI "beat" the game. I don't know if that's the right term. You don't beat it. It beats you in concussive jolts you don't wish to strike, the alternative choices you desperately want these people to make, and through the entirety of the journeys of 2 characters who are, in the end, 2 sides of the same coin. Both look into the darkness, but one is hoping to find the light of grace that was taken from her, and the other wishes to find it in the eternal shadows that would have given her existence meaning and sense. Both mock religious martyrs, but that is exactly what they become...except both are martyrs to a congregation of one in their own empty temples. The other characters, in fact, the whole word preaches to them, but they are like Trojan soldiers when Cassandra spoke. They hear, and ignore, the prophet's dire warnings of war without end, and victory at all cost...and cost it must...especially when all one hears from the plaintive, well-spoken advice of street wise prophets is babbles and baubles. Hence, why all logic is spoken from a theatre with a marquee bearing the name "Cassandra."

    This isn't a game one "plays". You don't "control" these people. You're along for the ride with the same knowledge of an audience that watches a Greek tragedy. It's an immersive dive into a virtual experience of dramatic irony played out as an epic elegy and a dirge. It speaks with somber poetic prose and sings out a mournful lamentation in its soundtrack, dialogue, and the pulpy violent narrative that knit it all together into one experience. This game is like the bifurcated tale of the Greeks after the fall of Troy, 2 parts of one of humanity's grand armies searching for a home, or an idea of it, that no longer exists. One makes it to home's warm embrace. One is perpetually searching. They both ache for what the other has...but have no idea what to do with their own mad kingdoms when they are the last ones standing.

    In the end...all the kingdoms fall when the furies rage on and on and on for revenge amidst the rubble. Eventually, all that rage and rubble is pulverized to dust...and blows away, carried on the wind of forgotten songs captured in music beaten mercilessly into stone for the ages, but left no mercy for the memory of how the songs were played and sung. The song fades into its own drowning wind, letting go of the nostalgia of what was, and leaving the hollow, hopeful ache of what might be. I have no idea how a goddamn video game made me think and feel so much, but the artistry of it all is not meant to be understood, but experienced.    … Expand

    The script was amazing and ballsy with killing joel early and tommy later, the voice acting was 2nd to none, the graphics were incredible (read an article about the insane details threy put in), it was more open world than the original, the mechanics and how you play i.e. the buttons were fantastic, I don't get it, maybe because the flashbacks were all over the place

Sadly a big demographic (teenage boys or adult men in arrested development) can't handle seeing a woman who looks like Abby does and especially not in a sexual way as she appears in one 15 second scene. They also don't like "forced trans story lines" which in this case is actually just a portrayal of a character who happens to be trans. I wishAmazing game that challenges you in every way. I, someone who holds The Last Of Us Part 1 to such a high regard can say without a doubt, that for me, Part 2 not only reaches that same height, but in many ways pushes even higher. From the innovations in game design allowing for combat encounters to be the most fun and engaging I have ever experienced. The immense quality of animation and the most dynamic range of graphics the PS4 can offer. The story, although sometimes fatigue inducing over a 25-30 hour experience focused on plot, the narrative still for me is an overwhelmingly great feat. The cast all round do a great job of humanising their actions and making you torn between loving and hating them. Stand out characters would be Shannon Woodward's 'Dina', Ian Alexander's 'Lev' and of course Ashley Johnson as Ellie, Troy Baker as Joel and Laura Bailey as Abby in the lead roles. This game shouldn't be missed regardless of what you think you might know, you won't know till you see it for yourself.… Expand

This game starts off with a memory of joel and ellie after the events of the first game, and will end many years later, but the game in general will have a lot to show that might be questionable to some fans and will sit firm with some. After the game starts, you immediately feel the world and the characters, the combat feels nice and smooth and will change through difficulty, but the main focus here is the storyline, the storyline was intriguing and depressing but still interesting in a good way. This game wants to show us the amount of work and pressure was put into it, and the developers delivered the game will definitely go down in history for killing off a character other companies wouldn't dare to touch, joel sadly gets beaten by a golf club, but this will become the main story for the rest of the game, the story is hard to understand but if you take the time and really understand it you realize, everything comes together even if you might not like abby she will still become a relevant character that gets misunderstood because so many people think joel is a badass and untouchable, and although we think he is great, he would probably go down as the worst man in history because of his selfishness, joel ultimately gets killed by someone who wants a eye for an eye, and even to end this will be obvios and contributes to the story. Characters are as lovable as ever and will mostly be different which adds diversity and uniqueness to the game and im definitely going back in for another playthrough to see if i find new details on them. The combat doesn't get to much added but it still manages to feel more diverse and vast, but the gun combat will sometime feel just off but it usually doesn't matter because it goes back to its great gun combat almost immediately and stops the awkwardness. Overall The last of us part 2 will go down in history as a great sequel, and will not be doubted until you play the game for your self, but if you dont like the game its okay, thats just life… Expand

Amazing game that had it all from story moments to crisp gameplay. Sneaking around Seattle killing enemies left and right doesn’t get old and with this game engine and physics I can’t get enough of it.One of the best games I had the pleasure to play.     When Joel died I felt something I've never felt, or hardly ever, while playing a videogame: I was crying, my legs were shaking and my voice was broken, I felt angry, sad and I just couldn't believe that Joel was dead, in fact the first thing I've sad after that was:"It's not true, Joel's not dead, he's in very bad shape and all that stuff but he'll be fine in some time. They didn't kill Joel".
    Then I saw the tombstone with his name on it and I cried even more, then I rried to cheer me up saying that he would be with Sarah now, but that hurted a lot and it wasn't helpful.
    So I kept playing the game with one desire: avenge Joel's death and kill Abby.
    Then I arrived at the point when you start to play as Abby, at the beginning I was really pissed off, but during that 8/9 hours while playing as Abby I realised why she has done that and the fact that she kinda regret what she has done because, in the end, she had lost everything, even her closest friend and I started to emphatize with her, in fact when Abby and Ellie fought for the first time I started to think that I'd preferred the Abby's death 'cause in the end during the first game I really loved both Joel and Ellie, so I was still in love, if I can say so, with her.
    Then the fight ended and neither of them died and I was kinda happy but then the epilogue arrived and they fought for the second time and, for the second time in a row, no one has won but because Ellie understand, thanks to an old memory of Joel, that, if she had killed Abby, she would have lost her humanity, and that was memory was painful but awesome at the same time.
    I might have not explained it well but it felt like that was the perfect endng because, thanks to the last memory of Joel and Ellie, you understand that Ellie, at the beginning at least, wanted to kill Abby to avenge Joel but then you realise that the only person she was hating and blaming was herself 'cause she was unable to forgive Joel for what he has done at the Fireflies' Saint Mary's Hospital (the end of The Last of Us) before his own death and that was so powerful that I cried again, it was **** perfect.
    Also I wanted to spend a few word about the techniical assets: the graphic's excellent, the gameplay is a simply evolution of the first game gameplay with some new features and the all options that Naught Dog has put into the game to help the people who have some disabilities or wanna play the game with some help are very useful, so well done Naughty Dog.
    Also what has happened with the review bombing it's very sad because if you look at this title objectively, this game deserves, at least, 7 even if you don't like the story 'cause the gameplay, the animations, the all accessibility options and the graphics are all **** amazing, and this game is the top of of the generation (and please don't say things like:"Cyberpunk 2077 will look amazing, and even better than TLOUPART2" because it's not true, and you know it. It'll look amazing and we all know that, but it's an free-roaming open world RPG so it can't have as many details as The Last of Us Part II has, it's impossible for this generationat least, we'll see what's gonna happen with the Next Gen in the next few months).    … Expand

This is the game where you will feel wrong when you do the right things, and you will feel right, doing the wrong things. The game will make you question your morals and ethics with everything you go through in this game. With a near flawless gameplay mechanics , and breathtaking visuals you are about to experience something that you don't want to experience , but is necessary to experience as human beings. The Last of Us part 2, is an incredible game. However, as a Gamer I may never be able to forgive Naughty dog because of the mental breakdown they put me through, because of one thing which I can't mention because of spoiler purposes.     Game is perfect. I think all Bad Notes are from PC games becouse PCMR IS SAD

    People are just insensitive, misogenous and Dumb. Emotional story with the bestgraphics and gameplay of the generation. Art direction and soundtrack are amazing. Thank you naughty dog!!

    Takes me back to Death Stranding. Imagine being so weak and whiny that you wake day in day out feeling rustled by the existence of 1 game. That is the sad state of review bomb mob culture and grown 'men'. so tough! quite pathetic. The notion of My time, my money, my choice of games/food/movie/clothes etc doesn't compute for some. it drives them insane that there are people who likeTakes me back to Death Stranding.     The best game I've ever played. The gameplay, graphics, story etc. Everything is great.
    It is a must play for every ps4 owners.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
