    Hay que ser tolerante y tener la mente abierta para asumir lo que nos quiere contar, aqui no hay ganadores.

    I had the same view as most of the people on here, I loved the first game, my favorite game of all time, and this comes second place and I speak true from my heart, I wasn't even going to buy the game in the first place due to leaks, but my friend bought it and we shared it, and I loved it, it was a rollercoaster of emotions, and it's beautiful, dont jump into any conclusions, and get the game

    I went into this game SUPER sceptical due to all the negative reviews and all the 10s games journalists gave (which always worries me too lol). I'm happy to say though that I've really loved it! I think the writing was a bit sloppy in parts, specifically with Joel but there's also some really amazing writing and character's I fell in love with.     I honestly think this is an excellent game although the plot wasn’t as good as the first it was more engaging and creative, the graphics are certainly the best I’ve ever seen PC Xbox or PlayStation and the mechanics and AI are absolutely brilliant and the gore is the most detailed gore I’ve ever seen and definitely one of the best games to come out this generation behind my favouriteI honestly think this is an excellent game although the plot wasn’t as good as the first it was more engaging and creative, the graphics are certainly the best I’ve ever seen PC Xbox or PlayStation and the mechanics and AI are absolutely brilliant and the gore is the most detailed gore I’ve ever seen and definitely one of the best games to come out this generation behind my favourite game ever uncharted 4 and red dead on PC you may not agree with all of the plot but it’s definitely worth a buy… Expand

    This game was everything I wanted and more. It is a brilliantly compelling story that rides the line between black and white. The world of the last of us is morally gray where everyone has their own trials and tribulations and reasons for why they do what they do. It is human and beautiful.     Yes Joel dies. If you played the first game, you would feel attachment to these characters and feel the same anger that Ellie felt. Its a basic plot device and it worked out.
    Abby kills Joel immediately after he saves her. So what? Paints her as the main antagonist and the reason for Ellie's revenge motivations. If you weren't so busy writing half-assed hate letters to Naughty Dog you would be directing that anger toward Abby instead which makes the plot more compelling.
    Yes the Trailer models lied a blittlethis just makes Joel's deathmore shocking and the trailer didnt show anything that didnt happen in a cut scene or flashback.
    Ellie is a lesbian. Its 2020 theres a lot of LGBT in games movies etc. and it was portrayed in a way that doesnt feel forced. There issome force racial diversity which is why im giving 9 and not a 10 but it is hard to believe that a white girl, a Mexican jew and an asian guy would be in the same room during the apocalypse, and when 90% of the population is dead. I have anything against diversity but that is too forced. There are complaints about gameplay being outdated. Why would you change a key part of a critically acclaimed game? You don't because its popular for a reason.
    Thjs game was review bombed within an hour of release so the most people would have known about it is that Joel died Review bombing is a toxic trend and it seriously needs to stop. People put many hours of work into these and you are going out of your way to degrade their efforts. They don't have to make games for you. If you don't like your feelings getting hurt over a small part of the story get over it because you couldn't do better    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Just finished playing, and what an emotionally draining story naughty dog managed to tell. The first few hours managed to sucker punch the player in the gut leaving you with a sense loss over a beloved character. Forcing Ellie and the player to go on a journey for revenge, which if im being honest; I wanted more the Ellie did. Along the way you encounter several members of the group that started Ellie on her journey; unfortunately they have already been killed. On the good side you are able to takeout a couple others from the group. The violence you/Ellie use to beat and kill these people is both satisfyingly graphic and alarming, which is conveyed afterwards by Ellis reactions as to what she has done. As you play progress further the game throws a HUGE perspective shift, and has you play as the person who caused Ellie to sent Ellie on her path of revenge. This pissed me off big I didn't want to play this person. No I wanted revenge just like Ellie did. But as you continue through the game, you start to care for her(or at least I did) this allowed the player a different perspective and it gave the player a chance to, calm down?then towards the end of the game you the player/antagonist brutally beat the living craps out of Ellie for killing her friends... And the screen goes black. Which I thought was the end. Boy was I happy it wasn't a year passed in game showing Ellie with her ("lover") you'll find out if you play. And after some unexpected company you once again travel down the path of revenge and along the way Ellie is once again injured in a manner likewise to that of Joel and bitten(plot twist) not really though. And after fighting through a well armed and armored group of **** (Ellis words) you get to the moment we were waiting for. A knock down knife/fist fight between Ellie and the(most hated person. In a videogame)... Trying not to spoil too much. In the end though, what the player gets is not a happy or sad ending; but a cold resignation, an emptiness the comes with the desire for revenge. and in the end I felt that too. The game leaves you feeling drained emotionally. A truly amazing journey the game manages to take you on, this game is one of if not the best story driven game I have played. As well as the most emotionally hammering. Ill need some time before I go for a 100 completion not ready to go through all that again… Expand

I also accepted the ending even though it was controversial. I thought the game definitely could’ve been better, but I was satisfied with what I got. Other People ended up not liking Abby, but I really enjoyed playing as her after a while, and getting her side of the story. I’m hoping naughty dog continues to make games, like another Uncharted or Last of Us, because they truly are fantastic!… Expand

    1. Gameplay
    Solid. It has what seem to be a few but very meaningful improvements from the 1st game. Better stealth aspect, a more detailed skill tree, also there are tons of options on how you can approach combat within game due to its size. You can go absolutely silent, or full Rambo mode. Each encounter is intense and brutal. I love the horror aspect of this game. It can get repetitive on few parts but thanks to the improved AI and added verticals, the combat gives you more pressure to decide and act quickly. 9/10

    2. Graphics
    Legendary. I haven't seen a game better than this one in terms of graphics. RDR2 and God of War are the closest. The environment, vegetation, facial expression, special effects were spectacular. 10/10.

    3. Story
    Alright, straight up I will be honest. I was aware of the theme setup for this 2nd installment of the series, which is based on hatred and vengeance (opposite of the 1st which revolves around love), and oh boy they gave it all and went extra mile. This game is not fun. It’s stressful, nerve-wracking, and depressing, on which those tonal approaches made it as the most emotional game I have ever played. There are few parts that I hate about the story, specifically on how they handle the death of Joel (which I realized was coming to him sooner or later due to consequences of his past actions). The story also feels a little bit dragged on few parts (looking for Leah and the last Rattlers arc), other than that, the pacing is acceptable. I understand playing the character that killed everybody’s beloved guy is enraging, but this is a perspective game/story. There are always two sides to every story, they have differing motivations. The game forced the player to play a different side of vengeance which I know makes people (including me) uncomfortable, but it forces you out of your comfort zone. To me, it’s not some **** writing, it’s challenging-writing. I actually grew fond of Abby as I played the game (no kidding, I could relate to her especially on 1 thing we feared about, heights. Funny I know, but they did incredible on this specific story arc of hers). Despite this game’s flaws, it left a big impact to me after finishing it. There are so many parts that I love, even to the parts where it hurts. That’s when I knew I understood the message that the game’s trying to deliver. I personally think that the entire point of the game is to criticize blind hatred and revenge. Thus the ending is about breaking the cycle of revenge. Abby blindly charted path for revenge and lost everything she had, the same goes for Ellie. Abby spared Ellie for the sake of her and Dina’s child, and Ellie did so for the sake of Lev. One final flashback where Ellie said she wants to forgive Joel is even proving the point where Abby in this story is parallel to Joel of the first game. A bad, evil person who’s done unforgivable things finds redemption in a child who needs protection. 8/10

    4. Characters
    There are plenty of new characters introduced in this game. They have great and diverse personalities, quality banter, and interesting backstories. Each of the factions introduced in this game also have compelling stories though a bit lacking in depth. My complaint is specific people were acting out of character from the 1st game. 8/10

    5. Design
    It is a linear game but with huge maps for exploring. The environment is surreal to behold. The animation produced by the motion capture is a beauty to look at. The cast' performance is brilliant 10/10

    6. Sound
    the sound of every scene and encounter, every gunshot and weapon modification, item interaction, etc were marvelous, it gave the game great immersion. I have no complaints, pretty much perfect. 10/10

Little to no glitches. Everything feels very polished. But the main problem most people seem to have with the game, is the story. Or lack there of. I would like to touch on that topic to finish my humble review. First, people say Joel's death was a waste, and was simply just an excuse to continue the series. False. Joel made a sacrifice that affected the entire world's future and while we love Ellie and Joel's development, what Joel did was unforgivable in the eyes of the rest of the world. Including Ellie. If you think he didn't deserve to die, you're living in ignorance of what his actions mean for everyone else. Further exploring those consequences makes for an interesting Revenge/Forgiveness angle. The ending has harbored more hate for this game than I think I've ever seen. I would have liked the ending to have happened differently as well. But the way it happened, regardless of what people think, still goes in line with the story of this particular game. Second, the Homosexuality displayed a "few" times throughout the game is upsetting to many people, simply because they believe that some sort of SJW agenda is being forced down their throats. This is ridiculous to say the least. Not once did I feel that way, because the moments when it happen are so few, and the main focus is on Ellie and her journey to get revenge for Joel. Perhaps certain things pull people out of their comfort zones, and for many, that can leave a bad taste in their mouth. Many could agree that the characters acting as side roles in the game are a little bland and uninteresting, and I could agree with that. But I still don't feel like them existing took anything away from the story. In a game coming off of so much success from it's predecessor, you would think there would have been more dynamic characters they could have worked with. But sadly, TLOU1 had very few characters that we cared about besides Ellie and Joel. Which might be a single downfall of the original. Because now we have to start from scratch. Dina and Jesse and other side characters atleast felt like real people with real problems that an audience should be able to connect with. But again, the story obviously cares solely about Ellie and her journey. So they fall to the wayside. Which is fine. The games build up and thrilling moments become more intense when it's just you and you have noone to rely on But yourself. I give this game an 8 and not a 9 because the story could have had some more quality. I defend it against the hate it's been receiving mainly because the majority of hate directed towards this game is unwarranted. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's come to my attention, after reading several, several reviews, that most people found one thing wrong with the game that has driven them to say what they say. And that's the story. And that's fair. But not fair enough to give the game a 3. So many people have a problem with different aspects of the story, so they want to lump every part of it together, roll it up, and say it is all trash. And that is not fair. So many moments in this game shined very brightly, and made for an enjoyable experience. And sadly a few moments made me realize just where that hate was coming from. But I'm glad to say that there was way more good than bad. Final notes
    If you're looking to play a gorgeous game with intense thriller/horror style gameplay, with fast paced action, high quality stealth mechanics, rewarding adventuring, and overall a decent story line. Then try this game. Whatever you do, don't read hateful reviews about this game first. Try it for yourself and make an opinion based on your own experience. If you loved the first game, you will most definitely enjoy this game as well. Even if there are story moments you don't like. There will be moments you love as well.     Lo jugué con un amigo y nos engancho mucho por todo el suspenso y curiosidad que se creaba por saber que hará Ellie y durante el proceso conocemos muchas emociones que son para reflexionar y aplicar en nuestra vida. Tal vez es un poco exagerado o largo las rutas, puede llegar a cansar, pero luego de se punto, el juego es perfecto.

    The pinnacle of storytelling through gaming. The attention to detail is the un matched . The game wonderfully balances action set pieces with calm characters building moments. Great gameplay. A sample of next gen graphics, on a current gen system. Only flaw is the pacing of the story could have been better, it does drag at some moments with excellent set pieces scattered throughout.

It does a lot of things right, mirroring joel's experiences of restoring his humanity through a kid's innocence in the first game with that of abby in this game. It does a good job humanising everyone and creating a world filled with anti heores rather than villains and heroes.     Игра потрясающая. В этот мир хочется возвращаться снова и снова. Атмосфера постапокалипсиса на уровне, сражения стали ещё более интересными, звуковое сопровождение огонь. Сюжет принял таким каким он есть, не могу сказать что он прямо так плох, он интересен хоть и идёт вразрез с желаниями игрока. Флешбеки в игре доставляют. Короче мне понравилось 9 из 10.     Конечно же это еще один шедевр студии Naughty Dog. Я ставлю игре оценку в 9 баллов, так как я не увидел в ней тот сюжет который был в первой части. Well, first of all, I enjoyed playing both as Ellie and Abby, the game does show the reason why Abby killed Joel, Joel did ruin humanity after all and killed her dad. Joel got old so that might be the reason why he trusted the "new" people. In the end, you have a fight against Abby but don't kill her because Abby literally gave up everything to save this little boy called "Lev" and Ellie still has a heart and you can see because it shows Joel while she is drowning Abby and she stops drowning Abby. Both deserved better. After all, it's a good game, it has good graphics for ps4 and the sound is amazing as well, recommend playing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… Expand

    Начнём с того, что Нил Дракман обманул всех фемок и сделал игру про фантастическое будущее, где наступил матриархат. Что же нас ждёт в таком будущем? Множество женщин, которые делают необдуманные поступки, что приводят к смертям множества людей. Месть просто потому, что у них менструация.

    Графика - ещё один плюс в копилку Нила Дракмана. Народ, вы видели прорисовку собак? Каждая шерстинка нарисована в ручную, а массовку женщин? Такое впечатление, что они были скатаны с первой части Uncharted...

    Геймплей. Мне показалось или у женщин в этой игре (кроме главных персонажей) никогда нету огнестрельного оружия? Всегда они стреляют или с лука или идут в рукопашный бой, но огнестрельное оружие всегда дают мужчинам.

    И таких "дьяволов в деталях" просто огромное количество, что резюмирует один простой вывод: Игра от мужчины для мужчин. Это великий протест всему феминистическому сообществу который наглядно иллюстрирует то, куда может привести матриархат.
    P.S. Девятка только из-за того, что мужчина отводиться так мало времени. Можно было бы сравнить два общества и показать, что патриархат вырывается вперёд    … Expand

    I love the graphics an how accurate the characters are designed.
    Some points of the story and some decisions of the characters may not make that much sense but the psychological way which the characters go through are just amazing. I love the gamr and also the new character abby has been hardly introduced but in the end you understand her.

Now, after finishing the game, im glad i did. The obvious thing like visuals were of course amazing and on some occasions i put the controller down and enjoyed some views the game had to offer. The fact that Abby wasn’t introduced on time as the doctor’s daughter is what left a an initial sense of bitter and at first I hated playing as her. I can’t say that I like her now, as Mel said, she is a piece of s$&@, has always been and just a few good actions with Lev won’t change that fact easily. On the Ellie side, I wanted all to end on the first half of the farm. It would have been a bittersweet ending and would have given a more forgiving nature to Ellie instead of sparing Abby on the last second.

    If I interpreted the last few flashbacks correcly, Ellie spared Abby because se remided her of how Joel was with her, always willing to risk his life to protect her. Rather than being a forgiving act with Abby it was her way to forgive and let go of Joel and now she’s searching for her purpose. It definitely ended not the way I wanted, the game is not for everyone, mainly because the different moral choices made. But it’s definitely enjoyable and will possibly make few people drop some tears.

    What keeps it from being a 10/10 is the initial lack of chronological order.    … Expand

The finale shows us how it is hard to break from something here the cycle of violence instilled by the end of The first game ,but leaves a deep profound impact which makes players think and think and think... For the foreseeable future of the series and in which direction the writers want to expand the story . It is not Joel's and Ellie's story, it's the story of The Last of us.… Expand

    Эта часть не лучше первой, но в качестве продолжения она достойная. В ней имеется ЛГБТ повестка, но по сравнению с другими играми с ней же, она присутствует в минимальном количестве. Сюжет не настолько плох как утверждает, очень громкое меньшинство, все намного лучше и красочнее. Игра удалась на славу! Я очень благодарен разработчикам за их продукт, 7 лет кропотливого труда оправданы, в общем хочу сказать СПАСИБО!    … Expand

I didn't like what was happening, but after several hours of playing as Abby I started sympathize with her and her friends (especially Owen). The amount of hate this game is getting is probably because of how they killed of Joel. But the cycle of revenge which the is the games theme is showed expertly in this experience and Joel's death was completely justified. You just have to believe that Neil Druckmann and the team had an idea and that it will pay of. You don't have to like everything that's happening in the story too find realize it's a good story that delivers it's points.

There ist no reason to rate this masterpiece lower then 7 or 8. Any rating lower then 7 should try play call of duty or fortnite. Its a game for "mature" players. Only God of War is compareable

    Loved it, great story about where hate can lead you, it follows the first game theme by being another story about no being able to get over a loved one death but while the first game was about avoiding to feel that loss ever again no matter the cost, the second one is about the hatred, revenge what it will cost to pursuit it.

    Well im not gonna lie, the game kinda dissapointed me, but i found the game very beautifull and with a stunning story (even though, some scenes got me really, really dissapointed).

    I really enjoyed this game. I think I like it just as much as the first one, maybe some parts even more. Pretty much everything has been improved from the first one, in terms of gameplay, graphics and animations. The big difference is the story, is it perfect? No. But I don't think the first one was either. That being said, this game is definitely worth playing. I can tell some people onI really enjoyed this game.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 24 hours after beating the game, I'm still very confused about my thoughts on the game. First of all, we can't discuss graphics (probably the best on console right now) nor the gameplay (similar to the first game but improved in many ways). Regarding the story: while in the first game we can only love our two protagonists and their relationship, in Part II we need to see the reality and understand that there are consequences to Joel's actions. I'm no trying to defend Abby but we need to understand that Ellie and Abby are two sides of the same coin. I don't think it's true that Abby is a psychopatic killer while Ellie is justified. What if we played the first game from Abby's perspective? No one is right in the world of TLOU, it's all a matter of different point of views. Probably the biggest problem is that we are forced to play 10/12 hours with Abby: I understand that they wanted to compare Abby's redemption with Joel's in the first game, however it may have been dragged a little too much and giving us more of her backstory could have worked out better.
    I did not mind the way Ellie is portrayed in Part II: people need to realize that she is not the innocent 14y/o kid that she was in Part I, she has grown, she has felt betrayed by the only person that never abandoned her, she feels like her life does not make sense anymore.
    Joel had it coming unfortunately, I don't think his death felt very forced, he's human, he lived 4 years in a relatively quiet place, he may have become a softer person but it may have helped if they showed us that Joel has become more open to strangers.
    Lots of negative comments are just due to the s**t storm bandwagon that the internet is, some just can't accept that stories may go the way we do not want to. Afterall, do our lives go always the way we want?
    Regarding the ending: Ellie remembers a conversation with Joel about forgiveness and let Abby go. Does it mean that she forgives Abby? I don't know, I actually think that she is just tired of all that violence, she already became what Joel was before meeting her while Abby became what Joel was AFTER meeting Ellie. She is able to let go her obsession unlike Abby did, proving that she is still a caring and better person. We may or may not like or agree with the ending, I'm personally still undecided about it. Ellie has now lost every connection to her past because of her obsession for revenge just like Abby lost her new “family” because of Ellie. However Abby has now a new person to care about, we do not know if Ellie will find someone, if she will come back to DIna, or she will travel alone.

    Could Part II have been better? Yes. Is it better than the first game? The first TLOU will always have a special place in my heart, Part II is a different story that works on a different level and if handled differently it could have worked for the majority. However that doesn't mean the story is bad. Give it a try, it is worth it
    Do I want a Part III? Maybe, however it should not be polarizing like Part II and should be completely focused on Ellie    … Expand

    Great story but could’ve been told/structured better, and they tried to introduce too many characters which made the game seem a bit too long as I think we all wanted to just get back to Ellie. Other than that, super big and beautiful environments with optional routes/tasks that are worth doing and a lot of the new characters I did end up liking after playing along them more. The point of this game is that each individual is the hero of their own story. Right and wrong are only determined by the perception if that individual.     The end unfortunately leaves MANY questions open for my opinion, but otherwise the best game I've ever played. So much beauty, love and violence in 1 game, and that in such an harmony is simply outstanding.

The game plays with your feelings and even though at times i didnt want to play anymore pushing trough was absolutely worth it.     The game has beautiful graphics and the gameplay is good although very similar to the previous game. The story manages to make you hate the game so much that you love it, because many scenes are so raw and unexpected that at first glance I hated it, then I reasoned about what happened and I understood that few die as heroes especially in a post-apocalyptic world. I'm not saying you don't have to hate the game, it's understandable, but don't judge
    bad a game just because it didn't go as you would have liked, nothing goes perfectly, not even in everyday life.

    Story: 9.6 / 10

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. it’s really a joke most people can’t get over the fact joel is dead or you play as abby. the entire game is abt joel. we really don’t even get time to mourn him because we constantly see him in flashbacks and such. plus for a fat portion of the game we get to play as ellie with some superb gameplay. i personally really enjoyed getting to delve into some other characters. witnessing different factions work and have their own fluid stories was really interesting. a few things could’ve used some polishing up but overall the ending left me thinking for days and gave me exactly what i was seeming for. amazing.… Expand

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
