    Great work for this game, thanks developers and more.

    titanic work from the studio, a lot of details not immediately noticeable to a simple player, great graphics, matured Ellie. All this about this game, I recommend spending all your time on it to all fans of the genre.

    I didn’t mind playing as Abby at the start to get us into story however I think they should should have made the part further into the game as a dlc like left behind. I still enjoyed what it added to the world and the story wasn’t sure if it was really needed i heard the LGBTQ’s repression that was added was unneeded however it never bothered me and I usually does. Overall I really loved the game and I suggest that people get it and ignore the negative reviews and make your own mind up    … Expand

    I have completed the game and I don't think I've experienced something so interesting, fluid and thrilling and challenging in every way on a console ever. I am a massive fan of the first game and the second has quickly transitioned into being my favourite game of all time but don't interpret this as bias. i see the game as a masterpiece that only lost a point because of a few minor errorsI have completed the game and I don't think I've experienced something so interesting, fluid and thrilling and challenging in every way on a console ever. The direction of this game is extremely ambitious and just goes to show how impactful and innovative video games continue to be from a storytelling perspective. Nothing groundbreaking but it worked and was smooth for the most part. As expected, Naughty Dog have excelled in the visual and performance capture department offering a diverse world of highly detailed locations with a unique cast who have the same amount of complexity and character development you might find in the Red Dead Redemption series. Was overall an immersive and emotional gameplay experience that I highly recommend to anyone. 9 out of 10… Expand

    Such a emotional ride through part II. It's a sad, rage, unendurable story. And it pitches a far more chaotic, cruel world experience than part I. I hate that what Characters have to suffer, and i reminds me of my friend who committed suicide... Still, it is a strong game to bring me such a strong feeling. Good or not, you should experience yourself.

    Si bien por muchos años fue esperada la entrega, parece que no fue de total agrado para quienes ven morir a uno de los personajes de la manera más "más estúpida" posible, que según merecía una mejor muerte, igualmente, no es motivo para que cuando sucede eso digan "–¡Qué porquería de juego!". Por cierto, la mayoría de jugadores pone la excusa de "inclusión forzada" también como motivo de que fue una burla, pues bien, se respeta el hecho de que no todos apoyen el movimiento LGBT, pero se nota a leguas su intolerancia haciendo comentarios que ya ofenden, y eso es lo molesto.
    En mi humilde opinión, estoy satisfecho, no puedo decir nada más que me hizo sentir emociones fuertes, me entretuve en conforme iba pasando la historia y si bien no me esperaba muchas cosas, me siento bien, y sé que invertí bien mi tiempo y mi dinero.    … Expand

    I played 10 hours of the game so far. I understand that some people might not have enjoyed some events in the first couple of hours. But we must understand that just like a book we are not the owners of the characters.

    Gameplay-wise the game is being incredible it's what was expected in my opinion. The crafting is similar to the first game with some improvements. We have the ability to dodge and that is very welcome new weapon upgrades. New enemies and improved enemies with new behaviors. The game allows you to play in different ways, you can just go all forward pew pew Rambo mode.(It's hard but possible) Or you can go full stealth with a new talent tree.

    In general very few bugs so far and very smooth and fun gameplay. (I'm playing in Normal difficulty)
    Visually speaking, I'm playing on a first-generation ps4, not a ps4 pro. And Damn it's pretty, the PlayStation fans are screaming all the time, but The game looks great. The sound is also great, I found myself deeply invested in the environment trying to stealth kill some clickers and the sound definitely helped me into the emersion.

    Story-wise so far so good a bit predictable and expected, nothing new, some cliches here and there, but good fun and interesting, not the best narrative in the world. But definitely OK.

    So far I would give the game an 89 and my seal of approval.
    It's not a game for everyone, but it's definitely a great game. If you are thinking if you should buy it or not. I would say do it.
    Disclaimer: stay away from it if you don't enjoy gore. The game is very graphic. On the other hand, if you enjoy it please use a shotgun at close range    … Expand

Nobody is talking about the mechanics, the animations, the tone, the music, the locations, the graphics, the gameplay. Everybody is focused on the story. So the game is perfect in a game-wise sense and the story has gotten so many people affected they can't shut up or agree about it.

    That in itself is a feat worthy of praise. I am too a bit disappointing Ellie had to share the spotlight, personally I'd rather see a focus on her and Dina's story, but I can see what Naughty Dog tried to do, and their intentions are magnificent. Playing the game like a candle burning at both ends is a narrative experiment I really like, even though it hampers the pacing a bit. Having both main characters fight each other fit the story, but it was really frustrating as the player because I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to, just like the characters are conflicted about the whole ordeal. That's genius.

    Overall, gameplay, music, voice, acting, tone, setting, graphics (those locations man, oh my god). All of it is STELLAR. The experimental choices made are divisive, but I for one am grateful a AAA Studio like Naughty Dog dares to shake things up.

    See, the first game had zero expectations and hit huge. It had all the freedom to do whatever it did without anyone knowing what to expect. All these years later, people claim fierce ownership of these characters and no matter what they did, some people would turn out to be disappointing anyway.

    I love this game, I love the creators and their intentions - I only wished there was more of it.    … Expand

Masterpiece , you feel you’re in a whole new level of gaming You all know the story already One thing I’m gonna say is that they could have ended the game with tommy telling Ellie about Abby’s location! And then do a part 3 where Ellie would head through that journey of finding Abby for the last time and killing her , ( because of all the images of Joel and stuff in her head) and finding a reunited group of fireflys in Santa Barbara with new ways of living unlike what we’ve seen with the WLF and the seraphites I would be comfortable with playing half game Abby and half Ellie till the point that they finally meet up and Ellie kills Abby… Expand

They worked for 7 goddamned years for this and they're not like Ubisoft where they release an Assassin's Creed once a year. Joel would've died anyway, don't matter that a bunch of people kill him or some infected or he simply gets old and die. Joel's death was the most important part of the game. Сюжет не для простаков которые думают что игра должна дать вам злодея и вы его убили в конце, игра намного глубже и может сравниться с крепкими триллерами в кинематографе. Игры давно стали искусством. Эта играет выделяется тем что тебе не дают глупый исход, вот злодей-убей его в конце, это детский сад. ЭТа играОчень качественный продукт. Графика, физика, геймплей и сюжет на высоте. Сюжет не для простаков которые думают что игра должна дать вам злодея и вы его убили в конце, игра намного глубже и может сравниться с крепкими триллерами в кинематографе. ЭТа игра выворачивает чувства наизнанку и ты перестаёшь считать многих героями или злодеями, все они люди. Это действительно качественная работа со всех сторон, на то он а и долгострой.     Sin duda alguna una secuela decente, con unos gráficos que llevan al límite el PS4, un gameplay maravilloso y una historia buena pero que al final deja que desear. Muy buen juego y muy recomendado.

La verdad es que me aburrí un poco en la parte de Abby pero comprendí porque hizo lo que hizo, ella perdió a su padre y luego a sus amigos más cercanos dándole una motivación. Para mi el final cerró el juego de una forma única, porque al Ellie dejar la guitarra en la ventana simbolizo que perdonaba a Joel por lo que hizo y por ir en su venganza ella perdió lo más bonito que le dejó Joel, la habilidad de tocar la guitarra, la parte de los créditos donde Ellie y Joel cantan la verdad es que si le saco una lagrima, un juego increíble en toda palabra.… Expand

Cada juego tiene algunos problemas menores, esto está MUY lejos del peor juego que he jugado, y sí, aunque creí que la decisión de jugar como Abby varias veces fue una elección muy peculiar. Uno con el que al principio no estaba completamente de acuerdo, pero después de completar el juego, realmente siento y entiendo las perspectivas de Ellie y Abbie. El juego y los gráficos realmente se destacan 10/10 para ese PERO, mientras que algunas de las opciones de la historia pueden parecer extrañas a veces. Al final, creo que la elección de Ellie no es que perdonó a Abby, sino que matarla no traería a Joel de regreso. Abby tuvo que vivir consigo misma sabiendo lo que había hecho si sentía remordimiento o no "probablemente no". Para concluir, aunque esta historia puede no ser para todos. Personalmente lo disfruté, las emociones en esta historia realmente me llevaron de vuelta al primer juego, ese final desgarrador realmente me pareció justo, ESTO NUNCA SIGNIFICA TENER UN FINAL FELIZ. Se supone que es una historia oscura y emotiva y siento que está casi perfectamente hecha. Gracias.… Expand

Granted it can be difficult to follow and getting through the blood, violence and gore proves even more difficult. This game haunts me days after completing it, very few games have warranted a review. in fact only 5 games have had one and each left lasting impressions upon me that I carry with me. Naughty dog and the actresses/actors have done a truly amazing job of conveying feelings so few of us really experience the story is there it's just a bit disjointed. I recommend a second play through at the least to really see that story. The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is that there were a few glitches which slightly affected the impact of the game overall. (Dinas arms disappeared for a bit)… Expand

    Me encanto su jugabilida, su historia tiene un inicio que no me esperaba, y la verdad no me gustó mucho pero es cierta forma es importante para la historia, que me está encantando. The graphics/sound/combat/action/set pieces are amazing and add up to a thrilling experience. I can't fathom how the story would make anyone angry enough to give it a 0 or a 1 and ignore all the other aspects.Play it for yourself and then decide if the narrative works for you or not. For me, it hit the spot. As far as gameplay goes, it takes everything about the original and ups it to 10. De mi parte me gustó el juego, la muerte imprevista de joel fue como uno pudo a verlo esperado, ya están en un mundo apocalíptico nadie sabe como puede morir uno y que a joel lo mataran por venganza casi al inicio del juego fue algo que uno no esperaba y para mí fue como una sorpresa, la jugabilidad es buena, los personajes tienen una buena movilidad, donde flaquea es mas en el final que ellie perdone a abby al final después de casi matar como a 1 ejército es medio raro, pero hay que tener en cuenta el recuerdo de ellie el día antes de la muerte de joel, de que iba a tratar de perdonar a joel por no dejarla morir en el hospital y que isieran una posible cura, al no poder llegar a perdonarlo porque abby lo avía matado tiene aún más el deseo de venganza y entonces hay ¿el porqué no mató a abby?, pues hay que tener en cuenta que como ellie no pudo perdonar a joel por lo que iso, eso fue como un signo de que dejaría todo atrás y que fue como una manera de también de perdonar a joel por lo que avía hecho, así que dejando viva a abby fue como decirle a joel que lo perdonaba y así ella poder seguir su vida por delante

    Aunque en unas partes el juego flaquea, aún así es muy bueno y lo recomiendo, hay que entender bien el porqué allie hace todo esto, pero esta mas en que como cada uno lo ve    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I must say, the game is excellent. Seriously. Locations and the world worked out simply masterpiece. Characters change throughout the game, it is interesting to watch the development of the same Ellie as a character. But! With all due respect to Naughty Dog, there are some plot holes in the game that my brain cannot explain. At some points, the game didn’t work out, such as with the death of Joel. This character sunk into the hearts of many people after the first game, but we were not shown scenes of mourning. Dina, in my opinion, is not a very elaborate character, so by the end of the game I was not hurt by the scene with Ellie leaving Dina on her last trip. AI in this part is beautiful. The way that enemies bypass you, interact with your environment and talk to each other is obviously worthy of praise. The game has some kind of LGBT propaganda, for which some users began to underestimate the game’s ratings, but this will not affect my rating, since I am neutral about this (I don’t care about other people's relationships and you should not). My verdict is 8.5/10 (it costs 9, since 8.5 is closer to 9), but Joel could have a more vivid farewell. Thanks to everyone who read, thanks to the developers for a good game.… Expand

    The rest is absolutely 10/10... Gameplay, graphics, environment, enemies AI, Level Design, soundtrack and etc..

    Veredict: The Last of US part 2 get's such criticism from the gamer community because it's a time clock bomb that came in a bad time; we know how things work these days, we know how guys react when there's something different from what is called normal in terms of sexual education, we know that any kind of entertainment that have some source of religion approach get's hated & etc..
    And to finish, i doubt that if this game wasn't a sequel, think as a new IP, ppl would LOVE IT.

    This game isn't what we saw in the first game, it hits differently, but still get you to the edge of your seats in many moments, buy the game, enjoy every second of it; and THEN you have the right to write a review :)    … Expand

El juego es una evolución demuestra un trabajo de calidad a nivel de gameplay, mecánicas, es un juego que está echo hasta el más mínimo detalle, físicas de cuerda, cada casa o departamento que se visita no de siente que repitan cada lugar es diferente nos hace imaginar que tipo de personas viven ahí, gráficamente es una maravilla demuestra todo el potencial que puede dar el PS4 , un buen trabajo de iluminación dinámica de los entornos, el juego causa una buena sensación al jugar, se nota la increíble mejora en la inteligencia de los enemigos, tratarán de rodearte se comunican entre ellos cada uno tiene un nombre y hace que nos sintamos que e verdad matar a alguien tenga un peso, ahora los infectados su inteligencia mejoro dando una sensación de erráticos más violentos esto causara que pienses bien si explorar lugares donde hay recursos valiosos, la historia está casi bien construida, solo con algunas agujeros argumentales pero apartir del primer día en la ciudad la historia va de forma organica el juego demuestra de lo que es una persona hacer por venganza sin medir la consecuencia de los actos es una campaña que no busca complacer con fanservice es cruda y realistas, donde no hay buenos ni malos , solo personas que harán todo por sobrevivir.… Expand

Its brutal, its violent, its gut wrenching, its final. Its in everyway The Last of Us. Gameplay is fun, puzzles, exploration, and stealth/action mechanics that are an improvement over the first. Story is going to be the make or break for people. A open mind is needed, you may not like all the characters in this game but you will know why they do what they do. There are no heroes or villians in TLOU, the view is relative to where your standing. The game does not play nice and neither can you, you need to get you're hands dirty, make that bloody. While not without its faults, this is the best game ive played since Red Dead Redemption 2 back in 2018.… Expand

Not to think of every game need to end with an happy ending is a brave step. In this dystopian world where the humankind story is not going in the direction of happiness and world peace, there needs to be a place for story’s like The Last of Us.

With that finally coming I was finally able to complete the game with my thoughts and mixed feels of the game. With many people talking about many characters deaths going quick and how the should have gone a different way is some what understandable. But also people playing the game and giving it negative feedback I think in too be more open minded about how they were killed. Joel being beat to death by a Abby with her wanting revenge for Joel killing her father in order to save Ellie.With Ellie seeing how Joel died made her wanting her revenge as well. With the way the story goes in my opinion is showing the Ellie is being coming more of a monster then Abby. Which is one of the reasons we play as both characters. With both Ellie and Abby coming together in the moment that cause everything to happen we see that Abby keeps herself from killing Dina being pregnant with Lev's help. With then next chapter coming too the farm house it shows the Ellie fells as if she has not gotten her true revenge by not killing Abby. With Tommy actions of pushing her to do so it triggers her ideas of what Abby did. With having her finally battle with Abby Ellie then realizes that Joel would not want her to turn into the kind of person that he was with always wanting revenge and succeeding at it. With her finally letting Abby go she is unevenly put at peace with her decision. Getting back to the farm house with Dina being gone, she understands that she made wrong decisions in her life accepting what she has done. Finding the guitar in the house that Joel made her not being able to play it makes her leave the guitar know that she needs to let her haunted memories go and be at peace. With having an ending like that made me have dislikes about the game but is still one of the best games I've ever played.… Expand

    We live in Polarizing times, it's precient ND crafted a game that allows gamers to explore an alternatives side to an event or set of information. It's not for everyone and I found the Ellie Portion much more satisfying, though I love that we are getting this level of story immersion in a game.

    Had we played Abby for more time before the Golf Club incident I think we would have been able to identify with her more. Use the flashbacks to let us play and identify with Abby before we hate her guts for destroying our beloved Character. It was a mistake to make Abby masculine in physical appearance, particularly with little to no explanation for why her physique was so unique in the game world. This design choice raised an already high bar for me to climb in order to identify with Abby's world and motivations.

    Lean into the game, you will be rewarded.

    Beyond minor gripes, the game was incredible. The gameplay was incredible. The hint system was incredible. The game stays with you after you play it, and draws you back in. Thank you Naughty Dog, I hope you guys lean into the challenge of effective story telling with your games. By far the most talented AAA studio on the planet right now.    … Expand

Es ist einfach um es klar zu sagen Perfekt und das einzigste was mich stört ist das man Abby in einem Teil des Spiels finde ich zu lange spielen muss und ihre Story mag ich auch gar nicht.     For a long time, games have been overdramatized events like deaths to be grandiose and epic. Often neglecting poor timing and bad luck.

    The reason for my 9/10 comes down to the grind. In the later half of the game, getting to major events felt drawn out. Too many enemies and too much tracking down characters. It bothered me for a few hours of the game and broke the flow a bit.
    Other than that, I can honestly say it's the game with the best thought out storyline I have ever played.

    Do yourself a favor, and allow yourself to be immersed. Take your time going through the world. Read the backstory and leftover stories from in game characters before you move on. It adds to the realism and believability of the world.    … Expand

    4) Played the game on a base PS4.
    5) The review will be broken into different aspects with a final score and a simple verdict.

    So let's go on 1) Graphics - I am not going to talk much about the graphics as almost everyone knows how the game looks . The playstation 4 has been pushed to it's limits to achieve the graphic outrage . However the attention to detail is little underwhelming and I personally found 6 visual bugs in the whole game which can be ignored and will definitely be patched. Rating - 9/10 2) Gameplay - The gameplay took on the foundations of the prequel with lots of tweaks. The AI is more responsive . The guns and their upgrades are more accurate however few upgrades are not worth your tools . There is more variety in the fire arms u carry . There are many skill trees and u can upgrade the path as ur favourite play style. But on the negative side sometimes the gameplay appears too similar to the prequel . Also the game is very challenging at the start but as u progress forward it becomes too easy and even ur upgrade paths and skill tree acquisition also becomes very easy . Rating - 8/10 Story - the part that's in most of the debates and discussion since and before the game release . The director definitely took many bold steps in the story . There are many set pieces which are difficult to digest, I personally found few story parts very very hard to digest and these are the things that has been garnering negative reviews . But the story is very well told and is a emotional roller coaster ride. I enjoyed every part of the story . It's raw , gritty and not a fairy tale that has been told . My heart raced , my skin got goosebumps , my eyes got tears and my mouth went dry on this story .
    Rating - 9.5/10 Music - I simply lost in the music of this game . I personally feel this category is the best part of the game Rating - 10/10 . Over-all Rating - Little more than 9 and a little less than 9.5

The storytellers rightly thought that it was time to exhibit both perspectives of the harsh realities we all experience. Nothing is linear and plainly black/white in any respect, even though we want it to be. This is why people love those circus superhero movies— very simply, easy to identify with “good vs evil” plot. That isn’t the way the real world works, and it looks like the simple world view that draws people to plain, ‘good vs. evil’ Batman-type nonsense is the same thing that is stopping people from understanding and subsequently enjoying this masterpiece. Yes, it’s hard to watch Joel and Elli quarrel. It’s really hard to watch Jesse die after you grow to like him, or to watch Ellie and Dina separate, unless you have some kind of weird hang-up about same-sex romance, which seems like the case for some of you. It’s difficult to think about the potential regrets that Ellie has in regards to her somewhat neglectful treatment of Joel as of late— never telling him she loves him or she’s thankful for him. That’s all really difficult, but it makes you feel something. That’s how art works. Good art should make you feel uncomfortable because it forces you to stare into the abyss of meaning.

    Most of you just want to swing from buildings with your webs and mash x until everything is dead because you’re the ‘good guy’ and they are the ‘bad guy’. Grow up. That’s just a response to story criticism. Beyond that, art and environment are staggering, writing has some of the most authentic displays of human interaction I’ve seen in media, the gameplay is smooth, and the game is a great length. The one negative I’d concede is that stealth is a little choppy, at least for me. There are instances where it doesn’t really make sense for the enemy to have not seen you as well as the opposite case, but maybe that was just human error.    … Expand

    Lo bueno? no es la típica historia. Es cruda y triste. Lamentablemente el juego trata de venganza y la venganza no tiene finales felices, solo dolor y una enseñanza: si no eres capaz de superar el pasado nuca podrás ser feliz.

    I dont understand why people are hating the game. It's either cause they are trolls who haven't played it or they weren't being careful and saw the leaks. The graphics in the game look good, but it does make my PS4 loud. Other than that I'm liking the story so far.

    A fantastic follow up. Gorgeous design, brutal gameplay and offers much more chance to explore the world. The first game will always be my favourite, but this is a worthy addition to the franchise.

    It is something we've only seen in Red Dead Redemption 2. In most places even more beautiful. The woods, the snow, the lighting, the water, the high resolution textures and detailed models are a state of the art on this generation of console games. 10/10

    * Animations and Special Effects*
    Same as with graphics amazingly detailed body and facial animations. The take downs are very brutal thanks to the detailed skin and muscle rendering. Blood almost looks like the one you see in real life. The monsters have one of the most detailed animation that I've seen in games. They are just so well made. 10/10

    * Game Play *
    I played on the Hard difficulty and added maximum enemy difficulty to carefully fine tune my experience. I my self love stealth action and horror games. So this game is just um my alley. Most of the time in this game you find your self scavenging, looking for clues to open safes, crafting upgrades and modding weapons, reading letters, trying to get past or dispatch enemies in pretty brutal ways. My only problem with the game play was the lack of indication when I'm about to progress from one room into the other. This has cost me a couple of unopened safes in my play through. I hope these can be ironed out in future games. I liked that in some areas you needed to hold triangle to enter an area but you could also cancel it using the circle button, but this was unfortunately not an option in some of the earlier levels. 9/10

    * Controls *
    A little bit harder to aim in this game, compared to the first game. Here you need to watch how your character breaths or unlock a skill to learn to control it, in order to make deadly head shots. The PS4 controller is very nicely utilized in this game. The rumbling is just perfect and goes along with the audio. In return your characters are more agile, they can dodge attacks and do counter attacks. You can now jump up on many platforms and squeeze through narrow holes, which makes the game play even more intense in some situations, where the enemy is chasing the main protagonist. 10/10

    * Audio *
    While I'm not sure if the game supports 5.1 Surround Sound, because in the options I could only see home theater, TV and stereo headphones, the sounds were really well made. The gunshots and monster roars are terrifying. When you take down enemies you can hear them gurgle when they take their last breath. 10/10

    * AI *
    The AI seems a lot smarter than the old game, especially the human groups. They seem to know how to flush you out and their combat skills can really wear you down if not straight up beat you on the spot if you are not paying attention. I like how coordinated they are, how they try to circle in on the player and corner them. They utilize grenades, sniper rifles, melee weapons and sometimes even bring dog companions to sniff you out. 10/10

    * Story *
    Alright, I'm not going to lie, it's a mixed bag to say the least. Some decisions made by the characters from the previous game doesn't make much sense in the first couple of hours. It needs some explanations, that you only get later in the game and you have to have a very good memory to remember these in detail to put everything together. The one time when Joel and Tommy follow Abby into a hide out without questioning the trustworthiness of the lady who they just met. As far as I remember Joel wasn't trusting outsiders in the first game. The story presents the same story, but shows the action and its effects on both sides. Characters that we kill as Ellie, will show up in Abby's story as close friends. The game shows the similarity of both Ellie and Abby and the environment where they lived. It made you question all the time, why these two are trying to kill each other? The ending was kind of satisfying to me, because it showed that the game is not just all about a revenge plot. There's forgiveness. Ellie forgives Joel for lying to her and she does the same to save her self from killing Abby (who in the end also found someone to care for). In the final scene Ellie realizes what it cost for her to satisfy her craving for revenge when she basically looses everything (her family, close friends and the ability to play songs). It's a bitter sweet ending, but a fair one. 7/10

    All in all the game would be a 9.2 if MetaCritic would allow it. I can definitely suggest anyone who likes survivor horror game with mature stories to pick it up. You just can't go wrong with the Last of Us Part II.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The only reason i'm putting a nine, is because of the way the game left off, and how you're dropped into Abby's story. Besides that the story was amazing. I honestly think that people aren't taking the story for what it is, and they're just getting worked up over a character's death. Yes, it sucks. But that's what makes a good story. Plus it seems they're judging Abby's character before they even get to her story. Yes, you heard that right, she DOES get backstory, you DO get to understand why she killed someone. Yes some characters aren't fleshed out too much, but you won't get to know them for too long anyway. The characters that stick around, and that matter? Grow in so many different and subtle ways that you truly have to think while you play to understand what's going on. ND I applaud your story writing skills. I applaud your bravery in making something genuinely amazing and daring. I'd love to play another LOU.… Expand

    I really enjoyed the first one.
    I enjoyed this one.

    The "open world" is absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed the graphics, the cutscenes. That ellie plays guitar so well, seing her in a happy relationship with dina, and the story itself without chekcing on the pacing or the telling, just the story if it was just a novel was really good.

    I can understand the people, who are angry, but not to that extend:

    Every person is well build, the motives are clear and you understand why they're doing it. I could not care less what sex they prefer to be called at or what partner they like, every person has an absolute right to be there.

    To kill Joel was a good decision. Maybe not in the first hour, but he had to die for the stuff he did, as is explained multiple times in the game. it just makes the game more sad and realistic that he was just coming to good terms with ellie the day before he died.

    The time as Abby: i see what they wanted to do, but i didnt like it that much. I understood why she killed joel and as the lets player said, in her shoes you would have probably tracked that guy down aswell in an post apocalyptic setting where your dad could have saved the world. but I couldn't come to enjoy the time as abby. it it were a seperate game like a dlc, i would have liked it better.

    The ending wasn't good nor bad. i understand what they wanted to do, i would have liked a happy ending, but thats not the nature of this world and thats not what they wanted to tell you.    … Expand

    The game was great, they improved the gamplay since the first game, the graphics are amazing, and the story, christ the story is waaaay better, muhc more richier then the first one. You have to accept that the first game was about the journey and the bond between joel and ellie. And this game its not about that. Thats not gonna happen again, they already did that. This game is about revange, trauma and consequences. And it shows how bad revange is, and that absolutly nothing good comes out of it. And through a lot of pain and hardship ellie was able to learn that, while having to deal with the feeling of not properly forgiving Joel. great twist in the game to show us the other side of the story, telling us that the "bad guys" are not that bad, and that the "good guys" are not that good. everyone its going through someting. I'm not givin this game a 10 for two reasons. 1st - the insane amount of notes... they were ok, but annoyed the **** out of me to find a lot of them., and 2nd, i didn like abby, she brutally killed Joel, for her own belief of what as right and thats "ok", but still... she killed Joel. and also, the moment we begin playin as her is a important moment on the plot of the game, and i was like "what the **** i want to know what happens" so i kinda "rushed" through her chapters just to get to the climax moment. Also, i wanted the game to have ended there, after theyre fight, when abby shows mercy on ellie, thus ending the revenge cicle. The whole santa barbara thing felt a little out of place, and the final showdown on the beach reminded me of the final fight in death stranding.. two people punching each other in the water hahaha.
    But in the end, it was great, i felt really sad for ellie, cause the most important thing that joel teached her, the thing that briefly restored theyr bond in the four yeats in between, she lost it.    … Expand

    Now that I've finished part 2 I'm still not sture if I got the end I wanted but I definitely got a great game.

    Graphics & Sound:
    The graphics are top notch. Various very real looking environments. Forests, old cities taken back by nature, river deltas, dark tunnels. All looking pretty great and very atmospheric.
    Definitely vividly beautiful as well as dark, super scary areas.
    Particles, lighting, weather effects are all great as well. Firefights and animations are up to date.
    Sounddesign was awesome as well. The soundtrack consists of a lot of sad guitar tunes, some contemporary tracks and general great ambient music. Sound effects all sounded real and full.

    Gameplay:
    Didn't change much from last game to be honest, just received a few little updates to the gunplay mechanics.
    You still run around looting, go through stealth passages that feel so real that you actually hold your breath and fight firefights that make you feel like a real action-hero.
    All in all super smooth gameplay that was hard enough to fail a couple of times and didn't go through lenghts that made me want to lay down the control and do something else.
    Naughty Dog implement a few less environmental riddles, which I think is a good choice, as finding ladders, plugging in cables and pushing creates aren't the most creative ways to spend time in video games. The riddles to open the safes were great though! I really enjoyed running around looking for clues to crack the codes.

    Story:
    First of all. Yeah, it sucks that the story didn't really deal with Ellie's immunity and what it means for her and humanity anymore. Somehow this was just dropped.
    The revenge plot felt a little lazy at the beginning, but living those couple of days of Ellies and her antagonists Abby's lifes made you understand their intentions really well. And it was really heartbreaking to see what this messed up worlds made the 2 young girls become.
    There is so much conflict in the story. Between people, between fractions, against the infected.
    While all the characters are portrayed and acted really well the dark, disgusting world is really the star of this story.
    To get a good feeling for how this world makes humans become the most messed up creatures was gutwrenching.
    Not only was this story of the world told through the cutscenes but also through little notes that you find in the world that tell great stories themselves. I spent so much time thoroughly searching through every environments to find clues about what happened here and there and the game always rewarded me for that by giving me scenaries where I was like: "oh my god that happend here when the apocalypse broke out"    … Expand

El final es muy malo, te pasas todo el juego matando a gente para que luego en el final cogan y hagan que ellie perdone a la persona que mató a una persona que era como un padre para ella. No me agrada que hagan un videojuego donde la temática principal es la venganza y luego al final no hay venganza. En fin, todo el juego bien menos como termina.… Expand

    Simply put - It’s an Emotional roller coaster, with a great story that keeps you hooked throughout.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. este juego ofrece una gran aventura y una larga historia una jugabilidad perfecta y que entre mas dificultad le pongas mas realista es, la muerte joel es algo doloroso y y indigna de el y la muerte de jesse rapida y fuera de contexto despues de eso es uno de los mejores juegos que eh jugados y los mapas grandes te ofrecen una mayor aventura me molesto que ellie no matara a abby y que el juego nos obligue intentar matar a ellie, en cuanto a los golpes cuerpo a cuerpo es una buena implementacion y los nuevos infectados algunas veces me daban escalofrios sabretodo los acechadores l doble historia no me disgusto pero tampoco me parece que fue la mejor decision pudieron hacer un tipo de left behind sobre la historia de abby pero ahora este juego tiene mucho mas gore a comparacion del primero en general es muy bueno y tema de jugabilidad sobbre pasa el anterior pero hay algunos aspectos en el que el primero lo supera pero me parece injusto que bajarn un punto de 96 a 95 puesto que las criticas que tiene son injustas y inecesarias el juego es casi perfecto me mataron a un personaje muy querido soy muy fan de este juego y espere a terminarlo para hacer esta review y no entiendo a las personas que le ponen 0 a este juego… Expand

Graphic are unbelievably good. I can tell naughty dog put so much love and heart in this game. I highly recommend this game even with the huge controversy this game has. It's full of emotion, you will laughing, you will cry, and you will get pissed. This is a post apocalyptic world it isn't supposed to be all happiness **** happens.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
