    The Last Of Us Part II is the best video game ever made and it's not even close.
    The haters can hate all they want, but this is a fact, TLOU2 is a class above. It has hands down the best (most realistic) stealth and combat systems, the graphics and animations are the best that I have ever seen even in 2023, the soundtrack is stunning, and of course the story and how it's told is unmatched    The Last Of Us Part II is the best video game ever made and it's not even close.
    The haters can hate all they want, but this is a fact, TLOU2 is a class above. It has hands down the best (most realistic) stealth and combat systems, the graphics and animations are the best that I have ever seen even in 2023, the soundtrack is stunning, and of course the story and how it's told is unmatched to this day.
    It's not a game about revenge it's a story about loss and forgiveness. TLOU2 shows us that when searching for justice, violence is not an option, its a beautiful masterpiece that will always have a place in my heart.

    Now this was really hard for... Joel is my favourite character of all time, through and through. Watching him die was unbearable so rightly so I should hate this game. But I don't, I think its a masterpiece. I think a majority of people who dislike this game haven't played or they didn't experience it properly or aren't open minded enough to understand it. The story is miserable, and its meant to because its a story about grief. You aren't meant to like Abby but to understand her, she lost her father so she was in the right to hate Joel, whilst Joel was in the right to save Ellie as even though he could have let her save the world, Ellie was Joel's world.     It has one of the most fascinating and plot-twisting story in video game history (in my opinion).
    It is a very mature story about hatred, love, denial and revenge, and with those It is not obvious after all which characters to love, and which to hate.
    Yes, Joel is being killed at the beginning, but this is what makes this story so heartbreaking. No other game gave me that feeling before, and I am grateful and angry at this game at the same time.

    It is true that the script can be very controversial, but in my opinion it creates a powerful, realistic story that stays true to the spirit of the first part. It can be sad af but after finishing the game i can say it brought me some tears of happiness more than once. Can´t wait to see what HBO brings us with the second season.

    The last of us part 2 is probably one of the most inconsistent games of all time. This game's visuals are incredible and have 10/10 voice acting. The controls and combat of the game are a huge improvement from part 1 as it is much more immersive and uses different ways to find treasures, etc. The first half of the game (before we turn to Abby) is near perfect, it has some intense momentsThe last of us part 2 is probably one of the most inconsistent games of all time. Until we get to the second half where I believe the final 3 hours should've been turned into its own last of us game because the ending feels very rushed and with a game like this, it should've been much more spread out. Also another negative about the game is that the game makes you feel miserable, watching a "beloved' character get tortured and killed or shooting dogs doesn't make you feel good and this makes another problem of the game, Pacing. One of the most important parts of a game is the pacing, and the pacing for this game is **** terrible, after watching Joel die, you then go onto a peaceful adventure looting chests and finding clues slowly, If a game had this, it wouldn't be boring most of the time, but the fact that we watched Joel die a gruesome death before, makes this game have a very weird narrative for the beginning of the game. I still do think that the stealth of this game is **** amazing and makes you feel SUPER tense while playing. overall the game had the potential to be incredible, but naughty dog being naughty dog, had to make it controversial and surprise the reader lol. Overall it's very hard to rank this game because when I think of all the amazing things of the game, I wanna give it a 9, but then when I think of the huge problems, it makes me wanna give it a lower score. Overall I do enjoy this game and the score of it doesn't matter so even though it's shown as a 10 (mainly to boost the score cause this game is much better than a 5/10) it's more of a GOOD/10 because this is Mr Morale & The Big Steppers Dialled up to 11… Expand

    This is an emotionally manipulative journey that forces you understand and empathize. Before you know it you care for characters you thought you hated.     The world is beautiful, wondrous, dark, and disgusting all at the same time. The “gametography” is as if not even more beautiful than the first game, so many perfect shots can be found here.

    The combat is perfectly visceral, sly, brutal, and explosive.

    This is yet again another masterful achievement in gaming from Naughtydog. I’m so happy that I loved this.    … Expand

    The game that caused me the most anxiety, I loved my experience and it made me remember what it's like to feel trapped in the intrigue just like the last of us 1 did, I don't know if it's better or worse but now it's one of my favorite games.

    Extremely well made game from start to finish, it is easily one of my favourite games. It has such a big emotional impact on the player, the story is gripping and very interesting until the very end. Gameplay and graphics are top notch. Simple 10/10. To all the review bombers: try to be a little bit more open minded and first finish a game before reviewing it.

This game advances with the story in a way that nobody wants, we all want our beloved characters to continue their development, but this changes after joel's death, even so while you advance with a sour taste you begin to understand the message he wants to give and you start to feel a new taste, the way the story is carried out fits perfectly with the world of the last of us, a world where nobody is special, there is no hero who will never die, we are all equal and we all have a story behind us, and everything can be refuted quickly. This game has been quite an experience and I personally think it's the best game around gameplay and story. The best thing is that I bought it for 9 dollars but if I had to buy it at the launch price I would do the same because it deserves to be spent after giving me more than 3 continuous days playing, it is true that it lasts less but if you give it time to get to know and explore the whole game you have for a while… Expand

    I’m not sure where the negative review-bombing is coming from, but The Last of Us series is the best series I’ve ever played!

    I just finished the second part yesterday and it is was one hell of a ride! Apart from the awesome graphics and the technical uplift from the first game, I really liked the original story with a lot of plot twists.

In Part II there are even more of these situations. Both parts shows reality, current political and social issues that might hit hard and make you think about.     Yes, I understand the story and seeing how Abby kills Joel and then making you play with our hero's murderer is something that you don't see much in video games, but little by little you understand how each person has a different story and Since sometimes we don't think that each head is a life seen from a different perspective and I loved that from tlof part 2- .

    I think it was not a game for everybody obviously because it could not please everyone but for me it is an excellent game, and on PS5 with 60 frames the game runs georgeous, I will give The Last of Us Part 2 a 10 out of 10

    This is a Premium game for premium people not casual gamers, awesome game with outstanding graphics, sound

    I debated about playing the Last of Us Part II mostly based on my experience with the first game. I never finished the first game, I got frustrated and moved onto other games. Looking back, I was not in the right state of mind for a slow and steady walk through a story.

    I was on the fence about TLOU2. Initially due to the negative reviews, but then I stumbled across some 'grounded' playthrough and it peaked my interest.

    If you are on the fence as I was, this story was amazing. It's not a "bad guy does something so you need to get revenge" story. It's so much deeper, so many layers. Without spoiling it, I was torn half way through the story, it forces you to consider your decisions and the rippling effect. This game left me looking forward to the 3rd chapter in the series if we are lucky to get one.

    I just finished the game earlier today, felt I needed to leave a review because I initially read the negative reviews here and needed to shed some light for those considering playing this game.    … Expand

    Masterpiece. Beautiful in both narrative and technical levels. The story is extremely moving and the gameplay is a complete upgrade from the previous game. Acting is amazing, every character is convincingly portrayed. Just like the first part, the music is a key element of the game, and it is perfectly placed throughout the game.

Ellie’s and Abby’s stories are the different sides of the same coin. The attention to detail is also outstanding and I was amazed by how many symbols are in the game. You should check out Wolf of Thorns on Yt. The giraffe and the zebra connection really blew myOne of the best games i’ve ever played. Nuanced storytelling is matched only by the exceptional gameplay. I loved the set pieces and level design, especially when the game is non stop action for a long period and they rip out your heart with beautifully told cut scenes.

    We learn that if we don't let go our past, we will lose it all, because smo times we have it all but we live stuck in the past, at the end abby understood that and she didn't want to fight anymore, she was looking for hope instead of vengeance.

    - I can understand being upset that you're favourite character died, but we're living in a post Game of Thrones world here, that's just part of the narrative
    - I can understand (at least on a theoretical level) being annoyed that this game was trying to be inclusive, and add more representation to the main characters - although personally I'm happy to see that, I think it's well overdue in video games. However even if that's something you're against, it seems reductive to reduce the entire rating of the story down to a 0/10 based purely on that.
    - Perhaps a more understandable critique for me is the level of violence in the game, though I have the impression most of the negative reviews are from people who were fans of the first game, and that had just as much violence

    Anyway, maybe I should write more about what I experienced, and less about what others experienced. For me this is the most nuanced story I've seen in a video game. I was a huge fan of the first game, but, with all the love in the world, the first game's story is pretty tried. I think I loved the story despite of the worn out clichés, simply because the delivery of the actors was so fantastic.

    The story here is doing something difference. It's good precisely because it's not a one decided good guys against the bad guys story, but rather the sometimes good guys against the sometimes good guys. There were moments in this game that were completely gut wrenching (not just early on in the game, when the main character is killed), but throughout. The ending especially, I've never cried so much at the ending of a game, and that for me is the highest praise I could give a game.

    The gameplay/visuals/music is much the same as the first game, if this were simply the same story as the first game, continuing, I wouldn't have given this such a high score. However the fact that the story is so unbelievably compelling, is what drives me to give it such a high review.    … Expand

    Now. TLoU part II is like the Bloody Baron, just a whole game. Gut wrenching, controller smashing, game quitting experience that will make you feel uncomfortable and question all you know about this game and it's protagonists and about you in general.
