    Amazing story. I really don’t understand the negative reviews. This tastes like more. Feels like being in a movie. Exciting, creepy, hard and violent. But also so beautiful and sad at the same time. Must play.

    Never a game made me feel some many emotions, a real roller coaster. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is quite good (except when you had to jump), and the music is spot on!

    I wasn’t expecting a sequel, but what a sequel! Big improvements in overall, level of quality is still the same greatness too. The narrative is well balanced and with a nice depth. Over 110 hours, so, not only the history is so well made, but also is the gameplay.
    10/10. Noting to complain.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i got so deeply involved in the stories that this game told. and the fact that (spoiler) midway through the game you switch to the antagonists viewpoint is an amazing design decision. and heck i aint even finished with it. and also killing off the main character of the first game left such an impact. i went into this game knowing he would die and yet i was left shocked. almost in tears. never have i felt such emotion, anger, and wanting revenge for a fictional character. its so good. pepole giving this a negative review should really try and understand it. some of y'all have grounded opinions but god damn. this game is amazing. and not to mention how utterly disturbing it is, the violence, the guilt, the enemies knowing each others name being sad for a lost one. the worldbuilding too makes it oh so good. and i dont see why pepole hate it. joel's death was disturbing but it gave you reason for revenge. gave you the player sadness. and all through the game i felt like i needed more. good job naughty dog.… Expand

    Uma obra prima, melhor jogo da geração PS4. O jogo sofreu um hate injusto porque um personagem que tinha vários inimigos ,em um mundo que não tinha como ficar mais perigoso ,morreu. História gameplay e gráficos incríveis. Jogo obrigatório pra quem tem um PS4.

    J'ai du attendre plusieurs semaine avant de pouvoir donner mon avis tant ce jeux m'a marqué.. Honnêtement et je pèse mes mots, c'est la meilleurs expérience vidéoludique de ma vie !
    Une suite parfaite !!! Jamais un jeux m'as autant fais réagir manette en mains.. Je suis passer par toute les émotion.. J'ai était bouleversé.. ébahi.. Trahie.. Révolté.. Émerveillé.. J'en passe..
    Il dépasse le 1er opus sur tout les points, les graphisme son incroyablement détaillé !
    Le scénario est une puissance incroyable !
    Il m'a fais remettre en question sur mes propre principes.. On ce rend compte à quelle point certain sentiments peut nous amener à faire des choix lourd de conséquence..
    La bande son est toujours aussi magistral.
    J'ai pus découvrir un personnage qui au début, était pour moi insupportable du a ces actes.. Et puis avec le temps.. On fini par la comprendre et fini par l'apprécier..
    Ce jeux m'aura donc laisser des trace indélébile.. Une fois fini je suis rester plusieurs minutes devant ma télé.. Toujours pas remis du chef d'œuvre que je venait de finir. Après avoir fini The Last Of Us premier du non on ne pouvait ce douté des conséquence du choix de Joëlle qui seront terrible.
    Ellie est transformé.. Je me demande bien l'avenir qu'elle pourra avoir après avoir vécu cela.. j'espère avoir un troisième opus pour conclure ce chef-d'œuvre qu'est The Last of Us!

    Un juego con mucho trabajo detrás, muy bien elaborado y con una historia que no te esperas y que en ciertos puntos puede llegar a ser tediosa pero que considero buena al finalizar el juego y verlo en su conjunto y continuando el primer juego.     I liked the game a whole lot. I played both one after the other. Yes, I have always been against enforcing LGBT on media, but I don't think a character being a lesbian should destroy the game. I really don't get the hate. Looks like most of the people are just angry at it because they had to. I had friends telling me it's garbage even though they've never played it.

    I feel like those that hate it really just look at the surface and unfortunately don't see the depth and layers the story presents. Absolute must-play. A milestone.

    Mais aucun ne m'a pris aux tripes comme celui-ci.

    j'ai effectivement moi-même pris énormément de plaisir à jouer à Ghost of Tsushima mais les gars, sérieux, l'histoire est effectivement bonne mais tellement classique... Même si je suis d'accord avec vous sur un certain point, le jeu n'est pas fait pour faire prendre du plaisir au joueur et je n'en ai moi-même(mis à part à certains moments) pas pris. Oui mais vous me direz :"Ouais mais qu'est-ce que c'est qu'un jeu-vidéo si on prend pas de plaisir alors que même son étymologie indique qu'on devrait en prendre…" Et bien laissez-moi vous dire que ce jeu en est la preuve, on peut ne pas prendre de plaisir alors qu'on joue à un jeu. Graphiquement c'est une dinguerie, animation faciales inégalables. En gros aussi bon sur le fond que la forme. Je vous jure à la fin j'étais devant ma télé, j'avais l'impression qu'on me plantait 10 000 couteaux dans le coeur et j'ai très mal dormi pendant 3 jours. Et surtout n'y touchez pas avant d'avoir fini le premier The last of Us et allez au bout des 2 jeux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Playing as both opposing protagonists was a brilliant touch, and added a very unusual element...who do you side with? Obviously    Flawless. Easy 10/10. Gameplay, story, graphics...even the difficulty level...perfect. The first one was for me the best game I'd ever played, and this sequel definitely does not take any steps backwards. Every bit worthy of being the follow up to the first.

    My only criticism is a personal one, due simply to the fact I don't get a whole lot of time to game, and that's that it was a bit longer than I might've hoped. It was warranted. Just not ideal for me.

    All in all this game and it's predecessor still rank as the most impressive games I have had the pleasure of playing. Simply stunning in every aspect.    … Expand

    Um dos melhores, se não o melhor jogo que já joguei! Uma experiência muito marcante que te prende do início ao fim, com uma trilha sonora tão boa quanto do primeiro jogo. Gameplay muito boa, diálogos carregados de emoção e uma das melhores histórias que eu já presenciei.

Muchos critican el por el LGBT pero sinceramente no lo siento forzado ni que tenga que ver tanto con marketing, el juego es increíble porque vuelve a decir como en el 1 que no hay buenos ni malos, no hay nadie especial, es simplemente la realidad, meter a Abby en el juego fue una decisión excelente porque sirve para ver la otra cara de la moneda, "Joel se merecía una muerte mucho mejor" ¿Porque? Es porque tu viste a Joel como el bueno pero eso no es así no le van a dar la mejor muerte porque es un buen personaje después de todo es una persona solo, the last of us part ii es un juego tan complejo y acepto que tenga unas fallas pero te enoja porque te muestra la realidad.… Expand

Leer las críticas de muchos usuarios da vergüenza, califican con 0 a este juego solo por la historia dejando de lado los excelentes gráficos, banda sonora, gameplay, texturas y físicas. Te puede gustar la historia o no, pero ni de chiste este juego merece las calificaciones absurdas.

    I really liked this game. It has awesome graphics, interesting gameplay with realistic stealth an clever AI. Story is one of the best(maybe the best) that i have ever seen. In the beginning I didn't like it, but in the middle it started to be more breathtaking. I think it's one of the most important reason to buy console.

    Rigiocabilità: esperienza che a mio avviso va presa di petto la prima volta, il punto forte del gioco è la trama, ma grazie alle decine di opzioni disponibili dopo aver completato il gioco, risulta essere divertente da giocare anche le altre volte.

    E' un capolavoro assoluto, è semplicemente impossibile dargli meno di 8, già solo da un punto di vista tecnico. Una regia cristallina degna di un film, una grafia sbalorditiva e delle animazioni facciali che facilmente fanno dimenticare di star giocando ad un videogioco. Il gameplay risulta la versione migliorata sotto ogni punto di vista del capitolo precedente, la possibilità di nascondersi, i cani e l'introduzione del silenziatore, vanno a rendere il gameplay divertente ed intrattenete, dato che questi ed altri nuovi fattori contribuiscono ad ampliare le opzioni di ingaggio. La costante sensazione di essere cacciatore e preda allo stesso tempo, rende l'azione ansiogena al punto giusto, tanto che durane gli scontri si tende più volte a guardarsi le spalle, questo fattore è aiutato anche da un'intelligenza artificiale ancora lontana dalla perfezione, ma sicuramente molto più sviluppata rispetto ad altre esperienze videoludiche: i nemici se hanno il sospetto che vi troviate nei paraggi, devieranno dal loro percorso standard in modo del tutto inaspettato, cercando di prendervi alla sprovvista. I nemici sono proprio una delle features che più mi hanno colpito, perche danno l'impressione di essere veri: si chiameranno per nome, urleranno di dolore e vi malediranno quando ucciderete un loro compare. La storia è semplicemente perfetta, essendo questa una recensione no spoiler non scenderò in dettagli, ma vi basti sapere che più volte vi lascerà a bocca aperta e non sto esagerando.    … Expand

    Not perfect, but still a masterpiece. Don’t let the review bomb put you off to it. You are supposed to hate Ellie’s rival and you are forced to play as Ellie’s rival abbey to understand both sides of the story. It’s storytelling brilliance. If you can love a story without shutting down because there’s lesbian characters, you’re in for one of the best games ever made.

    Procurei todas as argumentações de quem não gostou e notei que todas são esdrúxulas. Todas de pessoas que querem mandar na história e torcem o nariz se não seguiu o roteirinho q tinham na cabeça.

Also, this shows how toxic the gaming community can be, something is not liking the game, but being a hater and wasting time raging everywhere about the game and even sending death threats to Naughty Dog... You can see how reliable most of the negative reviews are due to this and due to the hate having already started with the death leak before the game launched. People are quick to judge and it can only be conformed by the fact that soooo many reviews came within first 10 hours of games release when the playtime is like twice or thrice that.     When i read that some people cried about joels death....get a life. The last of us series is a drama game like sons of anarchy or breaking bad. they are both excellent series like the last of us, but not for little baby fans who cant get over deaths of protogonists.     Absolutely beautiful, as expected. The story is so much deeper that it seems and it's so different from anything I've seen. It's unbelievably well done and the story is absolutely amazing, something I hadn't expected at all but it really blew me away. I believe this game is a masterpiece, not only for the story but for the gameplay and aesthetics of the world. Beautiful to play and to look at.

The criticisms I see most often are as follows. 1) The story was sub-par and it focuses too much on tragedy. 2) The game was too heavy handed about representing the cultural, sexual, and physical diversity of people. Some would even go so far as to say the story was politically driven. 3) The character development was shallow and bothersome. 4) SPOILERS ---- "Oh no! They killed my favorite character! This was supposed to be a story about Jole and Ellie being father and daughter!" So, let's address these criticisms one at a time.

    1) Your dislike of a tragic story is not a valid argument for you to assert that the story wasn't good. There are plenty of movies I would rate very well that I dislike. My dislike of a movie based on my lack of interest in it's content doesn't make it a bad movie. Every aspect of this story was plagued with hard decisions, untimely deaths and lose-lose situations. If you're **** that the game didn't make you feel all warm inside, go play something else. The Last of Us is CLEARLY not for you. If you've played the first game, you'd know that. Part II just took it a couple steps further. 2) This criticism pisses me off. Walk down the street in any city and you'll see people of many different shapes and sizes, cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Your not knowing about this diversity in people simply by looking at them doesn't mean it isn't there. So what, there's a trans character that is unjustly punished for being different. Whoa... So what. There's a woman who is built like a UFC fighter that could DEFINITELY kick the ass of 98% of the people who played this game. So what. The main character loves another woman. Who the **** cares? These things are normal. Maybe, if this aspect of the game makes you feel uncomfortable, it's time to take a closer look at yourself and figure out why. 3) I don't even know where to begin with this one. Seems like a jab to get a rise out of people, so I'm not taking the bait. 4) What did you expect? Jesus. Naughty Dog didn't make this game to pander to fans. They made it to tell yet another incredible story. Name one great story that doesn't have loss. That's because it's ****ing real, and you're supposed to feel something when people you love die. People are actually complaining that they didn't get enough fan service by making Part II a copy of the first game. Let me be perfectly clear.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Like it's predecessor, here it delivers nothing but shooting, survival and an inmersive experience, full of emotions, right from the very beggining, all the way to the end.
    While some user critics say that this game is "full of garbage", for a fan of TLOU franchise such as myself, it did took me a little while to recover from the emotional scars of The Last Of Us Part II's journey. But when I did, I kind of understood the vision of Neil Druckmann and his team.
    While the plot the game has made some controversy around all kind of players, we have to see it from all the types of criticism to see what's good and bad with TLOU Part II.

    Good things:
    - Graphics: it's certainly a MAYOR development, even greater than the original game. The development on graphics empathises on human facial emotions, landscapes, textures and even gruesome details in killing the opponent's NPS's. It's truly a remarcable change.
    - Music: bringing Gustavo Santaolalla back to the composition of the music of the game it is the real core for SUCESS. Santaolalla comes back, delivers and goes home like a champ, bringing the player to an even inmersiver journey that, all alone, the game itself has put in front of us. Emotions are well put on the music that Santaolalla delivers: rage for a moment, anguish and sadness for another, happiness for another... Truly, a musical masterpiece.
    - Cast: bringing back Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker was no surprise to anybody that liked the franchise. I mean, cutting them out even before the game could be developed, would be a real error to the making of ANY game of The Last of Us at this point. Johnson forces Ellie to go to other places, showing us an enraged, sad, happy and doubtful Ellie along the way. Meanwhile, Baker drops out many surprises in his role as Joel. For everyone else in the cast, the game forces them to go places where no one could've gone before, and delivers beautifully and epicly. Truly, a great, remarkable work.
    - Gameplay: along with graphics, this could be the GREATEST development ever in the TLOU franchise. While Joel was slow and muscular, here you play as a young adult Ellie, which have to use (and uses better) abilities like stealth, speed, agility and fast crafting of weaponry on the field, on the lack of strength if you compare her to Joel's.
    - Cinematography: following the graphics and gameplay, the cinematography, compared to the first game, is even better, but has changed from many points, if we try to compare it to the first game. While in the first it follows the main characters wherever they go, here (even though it follows) the camera comes from afar and reach close to the main characters or even the opposite, going close and then, afar from them, making the viewers see the bigger picture while they can.

    Mixed (good and bad) things:
    - Script: while the plot thickens on the premise of the game itself, the script does have mayor ups and downs (not to mention in full detail any of them), but even so, it works adecuate to a game with such a fandom like this game. Phrases that goes to a "cliché" spectrum of randomness and awkardly zone, really tries to become a good thing at some times, delivering great most of the time.
    - Plot: well, what can I say? It's good, for the most part. It has a beggining and a middle that are good, but from the middle to the end, it has a LOT of things that could make ANYONE rage quit or say "WHAT?!? HOW?!?". Seriously speaking, I didn't understood WHY it ended the way it did, nor WHY the emotions that I felt stayed with me for so long, after finishing the game.
    Spoilers aside, the plot of the game it's truly a controversial one, that only could divide the fandom and general players. But, I mean, that's what the first one kinda did in the first place, right? Thing is, here, in this game, the plot thickens even more into a darker one that we've already been playing, making us wonder "WHY the Naughty Dog staff couldn't just... finish the game at any point but there?".
    It certainly took me a while to understand Neil Druckmann and staff's point of view of the development of the game, but I think, personally, that the plot is well-developed, controversial, yes, but, nonetheless, truly amazing. It gives you that kind of sadness, wonder and emotional void that NO other game could give you, not even games like Gears of War 3 or the original The Last Of Us (although, the first game of this saga is 12/10, nothing bad can be said about it).

    What I'm trying to say here is, while controversial, The Last of Us Part II delivers an amazingly well developed game, that will give the fans and general gamers all the emotions possible in a dark journey. While it costed a big amount of money in its release, it is worth every cent of it.    … Expand

    - ha una longevità invidiabile per il genere di cui fa parte, dato che la storia principale richiederà come minimo 20/25 ore per essere completata.

    In conclusione, The Last of Us - Part II è un gioco che difficilmente deluderà le vostre aspettative, che si rivolge a chi ha amato il primo capitolo e a chi in generale piacciono le belle storie. Consiglio però a tutti di giocare il primo The Last of Us, imprescindibile per la godibilità del secondo e per godere al meglio di una trama con molti riferimenti al capitolo precedenti.

    I want start it off with a statement, taht i just loved the first game. It was for me not a games game but more more of a story with game machanics to go through it. As i wasnt sure how they would try to continue the story after such a good ending as i was muchly open as i wasnt expecting nothing.
    To my suprise the sequell i straight up the consequence of the actions done in the first part. It builds on it and moves the characters forward. The actions they made impacted them and they were living with a budren of it. Thanks to that the flow of the game is mustly natural. Knowing Ellie and Joel we understand why they taking this and not other actions. What drives them basically saying. As i dont really want to spoil anything i will depart my review in parts.
    Graphics
    This is just splendin looking game. The vision that authors had is much what we gets. The enviroment apart from looking great is packed with idiotic attention to detail. The colors are great and what i love tells basically what the characters are thinking - they emotional state. As an exemple - the opening scene of the game with Joel and Tommy and their conversations. The colours are firstly mostly dark and tense, the forest is deep greeny and almost surrending Joel withon itself. Than it suddenly goes up and it starting to geet nicer. And i think it perfectly fits with what Joel is thinking. As he tells his story he stucked with it for a good while and only after he could calm himself. And thats in many points of game done so Vide Ellie and "red" scene, Day 3 and heavy rain, starting with Abby, Abbys escape and so on..
    Charachters are also perfectly done and i cant express my self how satisfied i am with what i seen.
    Simply put ND outdone themself here and is just 10/10.
    Atmosphere
    I touched already upon the colors and building the emotional state of characters so lets go elsewhere. Loved the sound of that game. It knows when it should go quiet and when to pick up. Sometimes we hear some little sounds form somewhere which keeps us on guard. Loved the fact that they continued with mostly guitar based simple music, as guitar plays significant role in this game. Locations are perfectly well done and leaves you with an real life place, that was only left in the misery of time. Small letters sticks to places where you find them and places tells other part of their stories. Every place is done with intention to give an impression on the player. Nothing seems fake.
    The story itself is more of diving deep into bad place, and it sticks in it for a long time. Actors played they role really good and does not seem fake even for a second.
    Loved the parts where during a sneaky fight and after doing a damage i hear the enemy shouting a name of other friend, to check on him. It just keeps the imeersion alive.
    Plot
    Thats the most tricky part of my review. Many shouted many things and i will try to adress some of them.
    LGBT - i have no problem with it. Its done naturally and also rolling with character of Ellie from first part. Its nothing put out from nowhere.
    Female main characters - its just plain stupid to argue about it. Ellie is a natural protagonist and the other one is just her counterpart to make similarieties. Anyways its story done and why should anyone argue with it?
    - Dig into other side - well this game is all about perspectives. Firstly you think that what Ellies about to do is ok, and as the game rolls you start to question her actions. And then you jimped on the other side, i find out that Ellies perspective is very similar to other sides, and it really does matter where you sit when you judge someones action. So as i was negativly at the start with it, it grew on me. And then it does matter at the finale where neither You or Ellie are sure why you persuit what you are about to do.
    Gameplay - it is satisfying, but mainly basic. For such a game there is not too much of variety of enemies but it does not hurt. As i already stated the storytelling is the main part of the game - not the gameplay.
    Fun - Now that is the hardest one. Its not fun game simply put. And it wasnt inteted to be also. It is a game where you should question yourself many times. It is hard hitting, often down to the ground one way journey, where you need to roll with it, sympathise with characters and see them... well.. lose themselfs. Its not fun game in terms what you expect. Its more of an experience. Games even leaves you with this feeling of unacomplishment while we cant really speak of a happy ending for real.
    All put together i rate it 10/10    … Expand

    This is my first time ever reviewing a game and to start this with The Last of Us Part 2 is quite a complex an intricated task. I will spare you with the **** that yeah it got undeserved hate and **** because I personally think that's not what a review about this game should be. The Last of Us Part 2, in my opinion, is one of the finest pieces of art in story telling with intricate chracaters with an emotional development that is far deeper than one may think. It is understandable that some people are angry about some deaths. It is sadto see thse characters that we loved previously or learn to love just go ina licker of amoment. What oneshould never forget is that this world has never been a forgiving one. It is a ruthless post apocalyptic world where truly all sense of humanity has gone. Both characters that you play with, slowly but surely, you understand their mindset and their way of thinking together. As Abby, you are on the path of redemption as a player. She lost any sense humanity in her quest in avenge her father. And in total honesty, so did Ellie. The little girl that we carried all across the states is no more. She's now a ruthless killer avenging Joel. No one in this story is right. As human beings, we make mistakes more than we do good deeds. And we should be able to forgive each other. By ending the game as they did, Naughty Dog not only stops this cycle of violence, but also sets Ellie, on her path for redemption. Thank you for reading I hope you enjoyed it.     I can’t describe into words the emotions I felt along the way of this amazing journey. It’s honestly the only game that has made me feel these things along with Shadow of the Colossus on the ps2. It’s a must play if you liked the first one and I highly recommend sticking with the game until the end.

This game has a story that is too perfect for the gameplay its coupled with and while admittedly is underwritten in some areas, perhaps captures mourning, regret, and anger better than any game, movie, or book I've ever encountered. The last of us as a whole is about the effects of loving selfishly and the effects of loving selflessly. As Joel selfishly loved Ellie for the first game, the second is about how both Ellie and Joel learn to selflessly love and requires that you love the game selflessly as well. As infuriating as playing a character who you love makes the wrong choices endlessly, it brings out anger in you and if you can overcome will leave you with a better understanding of what the game is about.     Simply fantastic, mature story, not afraid of criticism, fantastic game play, spectacular animations accompanied by stunning graphics. Truly stunning artificial intelligence, freedom of choice in fights and well-done upgrades. I highly recommend this great game.

    Game of the year. Astonishing graphics, mechanics, gameplay, every detail is so polished and incredibly done that is a masterpiece and a wonderful work of art to play. It developes a heartful and touching story that makes the player think about the weight of the revenge and its consequences. The best game of 2020 and surely one of the best games of the decade I must say.

    Such a brilliant game! A technical masterpiece with deep, good writen and drawen characters and story. Camera angels are like best movies. Graphics are so good too. Also narrative and main idea so succesfull!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is wonderful, beautiful and it is a very sensitive game, it is a masterpiece.
    The game have exellente graphics and a amazing level design, a story that will make you cry, smile, will scare you and, and in the end you will reflect a lot about it, just because is a strong game that deals whit sensitive topics.
    If I have to give a grade, would be

    story 10/10
    level dsigne 10/10
    gameplay 10/10
    fun 6/10
    I read a lot of other revels, I find it boushi*, they compley a lot about LGBTQ+ and say that is apelative, but is not, ther is just two or tree senes about it, and is nothing explicit, and if you are omophobic, go reflect about it, and maybe change your opinion, is not just because you don't like LGBTQ+ that the game is bad, IT IS JUST YOU OPINION.
    Other topic that people complayn a lot is about joel's death, and when this hapened in the game, doon't liked to much, but the game give us a maezing story from that, and in the end, you will not find it bad because he is dead, but brilhiant because the story is very very good, and it make the most of his dead.

    There was a big hype before the game release and I heard many critics about this game, but to be honest, it was the best game I've ever played. Extended fight model, more cinematics with genius animation and realistic models, smooth transitions between cinematic part and gameplay. Heart-touching story, multiperspective and many threads fading each other.

    This game made me feel more than any other piece of entertainment I've ever come across. It used to be popular to hate on it but I'm glad more people are coming around. It tells a beautiful story.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
