    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us Part 2 is a well hated game by fans, and going into it, I didn't expect to have a lot of fun. I had heard so many terrible things, but was pleasantly surprised to find that most of the fans **** about the game were doing so because they didn't get what they wanted.

    Graphically, TLoU2 looks beautiful. It shows off the maximum effort the PS4 can put out. The detail in the world is gritty and breathtaking, depressing and beautiful. Truly something special.

    The story of TLoU2 took a beating by fans, but isn't bad by any stretch. Gritty realism has always been the tune Naughty Dog wanted to play with these games, and here they played it beautifully. In the beginning of the game, you meet the main character just after having a conflict with the man who serves as her father figure. The last moments they share together are harsh and angry. Ellie resents Joel for treating her like she needs to be protected, and Joel is struggling to let her be an adult after spending so much time needing to protect her.
    Later, we find out Joel is missing, and when Ellie finds him, he is being brutally tortured to death. Naughty Dog pulled no punches, and forces you to watch in horror as the first game's protagonist is brutally beaten to death with a golf club as Ellie watches while screaming and crying. It made me drop my controller in shock. I had to pause the game and take a break when it was over. It was the most violent, disgusting, sad thing I had ever seen in a video game. Shortly before this scene, the game had you playing as Abby, the woman who eventually tricks and murders Joel.
    Throughout the game, you continue to switch between Abby and Ellie, learning more about Abby's story and motivations for killing Joel (which I wont spoil here). Your anger towards her wanes, and you sympathize with all she's been through with her friends.
    This part of the game is controversial, but I think added a layer that was not just refreshing, but a driving force for me. I wanted to keep playing so I could bring the two characters together for a final confrontation.

    The end of the game sees Ellie track down a tired and beaten Abby. Abby has been captured by slavers and starved. She's been tortured, and weakened. She is in a state not unlike that of Joel's shortly before he died. Ellie finds her, and sees that she's been on her own journey. She's suffered like Ellie has, she's fought to protect people as Ellie has, she's survived in the same world and felt the same fears as Ellie has.
    Ellie realizes, finally, that she has become the exact thing that her journey with Joel had saved him from. When Ellie and Joel meet in The Last of Us, Joel is a hardened survivor, uncaring and apathetic towards the plight of others. He's violent, an unashamed killer, and a gritty survivor. Protecting Ellie and traveling with her softened him. It gave him a new perspective, and a new appreciation for others. He loved her, and that love made him human again. She saved him.
    Ellie's anger towards Abby has made her the very thing Joel spent years rehabilitating himself from. Joel had spent a long time after completing his journey with Ellie becoming an artist, teaching people guitar, farming, and being a part of a community. Ellie has spent all her time after his death running from all of that. She has become the very thing that Joel had fought to get away from, and in her last moments with Abby, she shows mercy. She knew that Joel did all of those things for her. He tempered his anger, his rage, his apathy, his instinct, for her. To give her a role model. To make her proud. So to honor his transformation, she does what he learned to do. She let go of the past and let Abby live.
    It's beautiful, the more you think about it, but not the ending fans wanted.

    What most fans didn't like about the game was the characters. Ellie is openly a lesbian, and in a relationship with a woman through the majority of the game. Ellie is a female protagonist, which some fans also didn't like. They wanted to play as Joel again. There was a transgender character, which some fans felt was too political.
    I personally enjoyed and celebrate all of these choices. Diversity exists in the real world, and should be represented in our media as well. These characters and their identities are written extremely well and serve the plot well.

    The gameplay of TLoU2 is amazing. The combat is tense, fun, and very addictive. I had fun replaying different combat scenarios, trying to outfox all the enemies so none of them even knew I was there before it was too late. The layout of the environments adds to a sense of urgency, practicality, curiosity, and cleverness that the game wants to draw out of the player. The amount of polish in the gameplay is purely unparalleled.

    Overall, The Last of Us Part 2 is controversial, but nowhere near bad. It's an intense, fun game that overwhelms you in the best way possible.    … Expand

    Apart from the repetitive combat scenes and long loot sessions, the game is incredible. It's a rollercoaster of emotions and the ending hides multiple valuable messages. Mid game I had doubts about Naughty Dog's choices, but they did the character development right to make the end work. What a masterpiece!

    One of the best games of all time. In terms of gameplay and graphics, if someone give negative reviews its purely based on emotional BS. Yes, the story could be better written, but that bunch of kids rating the game zero should be playing Fortnite instead. LoU2 its a masterpiece.

    I loved last of us and part 2 was nothing but an improvement on the original. I only made a metacritic account to leave a good review for this game - it's bizarre that it gets so much hate and after playing it I can only assume it's because people didn't like the LGBTQ elements, which is pretty messed up.     It's the best game (masterpiece) in the world because it's QUALITY. I will not speak personally. The guys worked out the story very well. They explained very well what they wanted to tell. There is no need to talk about the gameplay and graphics part, in one word, PERFECT. After playing tlou2, I entered Days Gone and felt like a robot.

    It's the greatest game I have ever played. The plot is incredible, this story makes me feel great range of emotions: emotional state and attitude to the characters have been changing for few times during passing LOU2.
    Maybe this franchise could be considered to be the best of PS exclusives. I strongly recommend get such great experience as I by passing this game.

So many real emotions you can feel while playing. And like real life there are no easy decisions or clearly good or bad people.     The Last of US is a cautionary tale of what would you give up to save 1 person.
    In this case, the world is infected. The only person you love has to die to produce
    a vaccine to cure the world. While the 1st game is a tale of love, the sequel is the
    payment that is required.

    Joel has sacrificed the world to spend more time with his makeshift daughter Ellie.
    The lie that saved Ellie is the same lie that cost Joel his life. Abby is the
    daughter of the doctor who was killed by Joel. Now Abby is fatherless and a payment
    is needed.

    Right from the start of the game. The story constantly asks the question; Is it all
    worth it? From the 1st part of the game, it constantly poses "What if it doesn't
    work?" What if the sacrifice goes in vain? I believe that if Joel had time to say
    goodbye to Ellie. Ellie would have refused the operation. Which is why Marlene
    rushed the procedure.

    Joel didn't get the chance to confess his love. That was the one thing he couldn't
    say but found a way to express it through travel and bond. That is why the game at
    the end does not give you a choice to not kill the doctor and at the time, my self,
    have even said "I would have killed him too for Ellie."

    I have always said "What's the point of a cure if the world is broken? What good
    would that do? I would rather save Ellie." I've reasoned with my self to save her.
    Now, I'm seeing my own reflection right back. My own agreed decision with others
    and how ugly it is. The infection only got worse...

    It is very clear that Ellie did not feel the same way about Joel when revealed what
    Joel had done. It was only later on after "squandered" years of Ellie not talking to
    Joel that it was too late. She loved him as a father figure. She needed time to realize
    she had been saved out of love instead of the her fantasy of being the savior of the world.

    Ellie was not given the chance to forgive Joel which sets her off on her journey for
    blood but every step of the way she is 1 or 2 minutes behind. I was also expecting
    Abby to be somewhat of a monster. Instead, she was surviving like Joel. She was looking
    after kids. As Joel, she also developed a mother figure with Lev, a young boy similar in
    age from Ellie the 1st time around.

    Abby and Ellie are two sides of the same coin. Abby is a Joel. Strong, older and looking
    for love. I have no doubt that Ellie and Abby in another world that we call normal, would
    have been friends. The proof at the end when Abby is done fighting and simply just wants
    to save Lev at the cross. To be honest, I was expecting a boss fight. Instead I got a
    pity fight. No, not Abby, Ellie. Even at Abby's weakest, she still gave Ellie a fight and
    almost won.

    Ellie realizing that her win would only be in vain. Me in tears, seeing what shed had become.
    I only wanted to save her, was this better? Was this worth it? At what cost? Ellie returns
    home only to find out that she has lost everything if not, everyone. Ellie has become the
    worst of Joel. Is she even Ellie anymore to me?
    Looking back, I never questioned if killing the doctor was ever wrong. I don't think ever regretted it either. Now, I understand why Abby and her gang hated him. He killed him and screwed the world. I think back to what Marlene said right before the surgery "And what if this was Abby? -If this was your daughter, what would you do?". The person I was rooting for was a monster all along... The story forces us to walk with ghosts. We see only their love and perception. This game has managed to enraged most people who have played it and I hope they all come around to what I've realized. The unfortunate consequences of every decision. I understand why it's called Part II and not The Last of Us 2. This is not a continuation of the miss adventures of Ellie and Joel. It's another world. In this world, Ellie exists and she is not untouchable. If only we all could have let her be special; she would have lived longer in name. A fallen savior, left alone with no purpose; was our choice at the end. This game, like it's prequal before, is a master piece. It doesn't hold your hand and expect you to expect what everyone wanted. Instead, it asks us. What have we've all done? The Last of Us Part II Gets my 2nd ever 10 out of 10. A brilliant story, game play, design, and amazing cast of characters. This game is a must play for those who even are remotely interested. When asked if a sequel would be made on The Last of Us.     This game is not for everyone. It is a violent game and a game that shows the effect of that violence in the people around you. Player is one the other hand enjoying the fabulous game play while annihilating enemies and on the other hand feeling sorry for participating in Ellie's revenge.

    Je lui mets un 10car pour moi s'est une pépite, la narration te prends de court et t'embarquer dans un voyage où la vengeance et le pardon seront les maître mots de ce jeu.

    Graphiquement impressionnant, améliorant le gameplay du premier épisode, une durée de vie de 30 heures, ce jeu mérite son goty.

    Deux **** points faibles : on est pas Joël et il manque le multi.

    As in the first installment, despite being excellent in the audiovisual section, none of its elements represent a revolution or the discovery of gunpowder. Only the story, specifically the way it is told and developed, deserves a separate mention.

    Similarly, what makes it special is the harmonious conjunction of a series of symphonic elements executed with exquisite perfection.

    The Last of us Part II is a cruel and uncomfortable journey full of mixed feelings. It was not the sequel that maybe we expected. But it is the sequel we needed.

    It is an essential title for lovers of the genre and for those seeking courage and something different in the way of posing and developing a narrative. It is a cruel, crude, wild game and, above all, complex in existential terms.

    It is simply a MASTERPIECE.

    Eso me cohibe mucho a la hora de realizar un análisis sin hacer spoilers. Por ese motivo, recomiendo leer, una vez acabado el juego, mi análisis con spoilers para entender mi punto de vista sobre este juego.

    Como en la primera entrega, pese a ser excelente en el apartado audiovisual, ninguno de sus elementos supone una revolución ni el descubrimiento de la pólvora. Sólo la historia, en concreto la manera en que se cuenta y desarrolla, merece mención aparte.

    Del mismo modo, lo que lo hace especial es la conjunción en harmonía de una serie de elementos sinfónicos ejecutados con una perfección exquisita.

    The Last of us Parte II es un cruel e incómodo viaje lleno de sentimientos encontrados. No ha sido la secuela que, quizás, esperábamos. Pero es la secuela que necesitábamos.

    Es un título imprescindible para los amantes del género y para los que busquen valentía y algo diferente en la manera de plantear y desarrollar una narrativa. Es un juego cruel, crudo, salvaje y, sobretodo, complejo en términos existenciales.

    Hablar de TLoU2, tiene para rato; pues no estamos hablando de un juego típico del mercado, sino de uno donde deja atrás los estereotipos y los clichés que las empresas recurren para que el público sea mas amplio y se identifiquen. Naughty Dog sabía de las consecuencias de esta arriesgada decisión, hacer un juego donde tenga tanta libertad creativa del director y el guionista, tendría que repercutir en el pensar de una comunidad con una mentalidad, desgraciadamente, tan desfasada como la que tiene el mundo de los videojuegos.

    Tlou2 destaca en cada aspecto por el cual se mide la calidad de un título: grandísimo soundtrack; un gameplay pulido donde cada animación se ve completamente natural: unos efectos de sonido de calidad; actuación de voz y de movimiento, impecable. Y aquí es donde se entra al punto polémico, la historia.

    Yo soy un jugador de Final Fantasy, una saga que se le reconoce por sus grandísimas historias tan bien logradas narrativamente; no obstante, los títulos más queridos (VI, VII, IX y X), carecen de un aspecto que TLoU2 logró impresionantemente, la ambigüedad; no hay personajes buenos ni malos, todos los personajes tienen un desarrollo increíble emocionalmente, todo esto se refleja en sus acciones. Llegas a un punto donde no sabes si estas haciendo lo correcto, no sabes ni siquiera que es lo "correcto" en esa situación. Es por esa ambigüedad que, irónicamente, dividió a los jugadores; un gran sector conservador de las historias típicas fueron los que no pudieron apreciar este título.

    En conclusión, es un grandioso título MUY adelantado a su época para la comunidad de videojugadores, no tengo duda en que en un futuro se le reconocerá aún más. La comunidad de cine sabe apreciar las buenas historias fuera de los estereotipos, espero que ese contexto llegue pronto a nuestra comunidad.    … Expand

    Great game with atmospheric environments, characters, music and story. I am a big fan of the first part and was pleased with the passage of the second part. All aggression against this game, I think is pointless. This game evokes exactly those emotions that the author laid in the work.

Until the next day I was thinking only about TLOU2. When I finished the game I was disappointed for a while. Why hasn’t Ellie killed her?     Incredible journey of a game. Emotional, painful, spectacular. I couldn't bear it at times and yet I couldn't turn away. It haunts me months later, and I can't wait to play again (just have to get over my first run through ;)).The developers should be proud that bigots hate it--it always means you're doing something right.

Esto se apoya en un arco argumental de personajes absolutamente brillante, unos graficos que estan tres escalones por encima de todo lo visto hasta el momento, una narrativa tanto a nivel de dialogos como a nivel visual que es merecedora de todo y más. Es curioso que mucha gente se ofenda por haber matado a un asesino a la hora de videojuego, porque si, Joel no es más que otro asesino, y te das cuenta que no hay blanco o hay negro, no todo es radical, también hay gris y la gran mayoria de personajes de este juego son grises que lo unicamente que tienen claro es su lucha por sobrevivir.
    Es increibe el arco de crecimiento de las dos protagonistas, girando todo entorno a la muerte de Joel. Abby cierra su circulo de venganza, ya que Joel mata a su padre. A su vez, Ellie comienza ese mismo circulo que acaba de terminar Abby y se ven envueltas en una historia increible y que muy dificilmente se podrá ver superada en los próximos años.

Naughty Dog made an awesome work here, but it isn't a game that everyone will like. This is a complex game with a complex story. It's an apocallypse, people dies like nothing, doesn't have a right or bad side, there isn't a good end.
    The Last Of Us Part II picked up all the good mechanics of the first game and made them better in this sequence.
    When I was playing it for the first time I was like in a rollercoaster of emotions. This game made me laugh, cry and be thinking about what just happened.
    When Joel died, I looked for revenge against Abby, I just wanted to kill her and all her friends because of what she did with our protagonist. But the game mades you feel bad and understand Abby's reason. It is an apocallypse like I said before, people are bad, they kill and die for nothing, and it's this that the last of us brings to the player.
    Ellie's development was a little complicated to understand, we would do the same of she if we where Ellie.

I have never played this game because I can't afford a ps4 but I loved the first one which I played on my friends ps3 it was easily the best game I had ever played then 7 years later naughty dog release a sequel which many of us did not see coming and I dodged all the spoilers I could and tried to play it on an emulator tried buying the ps4 but nothing really worked so I decided to just watch the playthrough on youtube it felt magical the game looked phenomenal as I got to the second part of the playthrough I was devastated to see Joel die so I just stopped watching it for 2 weeks but I couldn't stop and wanted to see Ellie kill Abby but as Ellie killed all of Abby's friends and was selfish and blind towards Dina and peoples feelings around her I couldn't differentiate between Abby and Ellie. Ellie killed people Abby loved and Abby killed a person who we loved so I couldn't see the difference between Ellie and Abby and I personally think that this is where naughty dog wanted us to feel. they wanted us the feel the rage towards Abby and when they swapped characters' naughty dog wanted us to be confused about feeling guilt and anger for Abby. When Abby meets Yara and lev, Abby becomes levs guide or mentor or a father figure like Joel was for Ellie in the first game, the way Joel was seeking forgiveness and redemption from his past the same way Abby was too. She was also seeking forgiveness and redemption for what she did to Joel we can see that on her facial expression when she killed Joel she looked like her dad wasn't avenged she felt empty and unsatisfied by what she did. Last Of Us 2 is a Technical Marvel from a both gamers and critics perspective I personally think that lou2 is easily the best looking game out there. if you haven't played last of us 2 please do it is the best game I have watched someone else play. After more than 25 hours gameplay, I can tell you that I don't regret playing the game at all. I enjoyed every aspect and experienced different feelings.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Apesar de toda a polêmica, eu particularmente gostei muito do jogo, não tenho o que reclamar. Gráficos incríveis (Dignos de nova geração, fiquei surpreso que foi feito para o ps4).
    A jogabilidade foi reaproveitada do primeiro game, no entanto melhorada ao ponto de se tornar mais fluída e gostosa de se controlar.
    A física do game é muito boa também, a cada golpe que eu dava, eu sentia a força dele nas minhas mãos.
    O áudio é incrível também, a trilha sonora, a própria dublagem, sons do ambiente tudo foi executado de forma ótima.

    História: Bom, eu achei incrível a historia, a morte do joel no começo foi bem dolorida de ver, mas eu aceitei muito bem ela, pq por mais que ele tenha experiência nesse mundo apocalíptico e ensinou que não se deve confiar em ninguém (e confiou na abby) ele se acomodou em jackson por uns longos anos, então assim, eu vejo que ele quis mudar o jeito de ser, largar aquela vida de contrabandista e tentar ajudar mais as pessoas (ainda mais vendo a ellie crescer) então naquela situação era complemente normal ele tentar ajudar uma desconhecida, ele visava o crescimento de jackson, ajudar os humanos a sobreviver, então quanto mais melhor não é mesmo? e também teve todo aquele momento de tensão para ajudar a abby a fugir dos infectados, e como eram muitos, não dava pra ser um simples pau no cu e largar ela, Aceita que o joel mudou, ele é uma pessoa renovada com um ideal de ajudar as pessoas, era completamente normal naquela situação ele ajudar alguém.

    Quanto a Ellie ser Lésbica. E dai? desde do primeiro Tlou ( Me refiro a DLC) Ela demonstrou ter essa opção, o que aconteceu nessa parte II foi apenas o desenvolvimento da personagem, só isso. E em nenhum momento foi forçado o relacionamento dela com a Dina, o jogo tem de 25 a 30 horas de duração e dessas, apenas 1:30 à 2 horas mostra uma cena ou outra do relacionamento delas (incluindo a parte final do jogo). o restante é ação e aventura.

    A jogabilidade com a Abby é boa também, embora no começo da parte dela tive raiva da personagem kkkk, mas com o desenrolar da visão dela eu entendi tudo que ela passou na vida e compreendi o desejo de vingança.

    Quanto a Mortes dos outros personagens, eu gostei de todas, é seca e direta, não tem espaços para dramas, a cada uma que presenciei senti um toque de realidade pq seria assim que iria acontecer. levo um tiro morreu, não precisa de todo um momento de flashback pra relembrar momentos e bla bla bla e por fim morrer.

    Obs: vale deixar claro que o Joel nunca foi o protagonista do jogo. O jogo se chama " o ultimo de nós" faz refêrencia a ellie, que tem imunidade ao virus, ou seja ela é a unica humana que é impossível de ser infectada (deixar de ser humana), quanto aos demais estão a todo momento suscetível de se infectar, logo a morte dele faz todo o sentido, já que ele n era o protagonista (nunca foi também).

    Review ficou longa, mas consegui dizer tudo que queria, esse jogo é excelente, so não encherga isso quem é cego mesmo. é isso.    … Expand

Honestly I am doing it to even out the bombing that happend at the release of this game for when people were jumping on the train and hating on this game before it even was released and writing negative reviews despite having painstakingly obviously not played the game or atleast even come close to finishing it.

    The game is not perfect in anyway in terms of story, it has more ploteholes / plotarmor than the first game, but for people saying its only a LGBTQ agenda being pushed I assume you have never played the game, and its a disrespect to the animation, gameplay and art/music team. All of whom have outdone themself, its handsdown the best looking game on the current console only next to RDR2. The animations are perfect, infact never done better. Every hit feels inpactful, the facial masking in cutscenes are flawless it makes it fun to appriciate even if just for face-value, even if you did give the story a 0/10.
    The music (when playing, lacked abit more music) was perfect, better than the first game, despite it doing a good job there aswell.

    Now what drags it down some points from me, if gameplay, music, and animations imo are all perfect, its the story. Yes the story, the story that everyone so much hated and some still hate (alot of which have not played the game, and takes people's word for it).

    I am not saying you are wrong, in not liking this game's story, we all have our opinion, and I personally think it did a worse job than the first game. That being said its not a 0/10, its more a 5/10, if you think of it critically and not from a bias of how you feel about the characters after having played the first game. The main issue i have with the story is not where it went, but rather how unbelievable the motivation and actions of some characters are.

    Example 1: Tommy despite being much like Joel in how he treats strangers with informationm gives up both his and his brother's name to a group of people he dont know anything about who have them in a small room outnumbered 10:2 (ish).

    Example 2: Tommy leaving before Ellie despite being the one trying to make her stay, and even if he was talking through his wife it still makes no sense for him to leave before Ellie rather than coming with her, as he knew she was going with or without him, this only puts both at risk and lowers the chances of succsess.

    Example 3: Ellie despite having life handed to her on a silver platter (when living on the farm), tho dealing with PTSD dont have believable motivation to go back after Abby after having been hammered by "revenge bad x10000 times" so far at that point in the story.

    Example 4: Tommy coming back to Ellie's home and reigniting the lead to Abby despite being the one who tried to talk her out of going in the first place. Now that he knows it would be better for Ellie to stay and work things out he takes a complete 180 and guilts her into going because he is hurt and cant do it himself.

    Example 5: Dina acts like she is a woman who have been widowed multiple times before, when Ellie leaves the second time and leaves her no home to return. I get trying to stop her from going (her going already makes no sense), but why let her not have a home when returning, I thought it would be an empty threat as then it would've made sense.

    Plot holes although many, I can ignore to an extent if it results in a overall good story, but what really got me despite it being a powerfull ending was how pointless it all felt.
    The entire game has hammered "revenge bad, but doing it anyway" to a point where you just stop caring as Ellie has already saccrifcied everything twice over when going after Abby the second time, but only then does she decide not to kill her. I get why she stops, but holy hell, how many times did this story beat your head with revenge bad, for only the end of the game stop with Ellie being left with nothing and all characters dying for nothing. Its a powerfull story, but not a likeable one.

    I wanne sign the review of by saying, despite the story getting worse the more you overthink it,
    it is in my opinion the best way a game has ever told a story, despite it not being the best.

    From how seemless gameplay cuts into cutscenes to facial animation and voice acting being done perfectly it makes it so immersive that it makes you carefully follow the whole story, and really engages you in the characters and their actions especially Ellie, so even if the story is mediocre it feels like a rollercoaster when experiencing it, and for that I would say its a mustplay, atleast until Naughtydog releases another game like it.    … Expand

    I don’t get why people hate this game that much. Animations, graphics etc. Were amazing. Storytelling was unreal as usual. If i am being honest, this wasn’t the story that i wanted to hear but i still enjoyed it a lot. Definetly an unique experience.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The last of us 2 is a game that beautiful portraits the cycle of hatred and forgiving the unforgivable. When you boot it up and play as Ellie for the first 12 hours you are in the same boat as her, blinded by rage and excuse the careless actions which only result in the constant threat of death, not only to you but to your companions also. But then you switch over to Abby and at first your not open to her but when you realize that she’s haunted by her actions against Joel, when she starts loosing these people we mowed down as Ellie, then you start to sympathize with her and get caught in these peoples problems. people are mad at this game but don’t know why they’re mad, obviously people we’re attached to Joel and killing him off was a really strong introduction to this game, and really that’s the only reason, when they complain about the story being messy it’s a pain to listen to because you clearly didn’t get the intentions of the game. Abby is the Joel in her last of us story, if you were to play last of us 1 as Abby and her dad only to have that ripped from you with the death of Abbys dad, then you would’ve wanted revenge on the crazy old man who came and took that from you. This is a stunning narrative which focuses on redemption, falling into darkness and feeling hatred for someone just to break out of the cycle, through the realization that these actions will not bring them back. “Revenge is a luxury we cannot afford”, revenge is the reason Ellie lost Jesse, Her fingers, And almost lost Dina all ending up to Ellie loosing herself, Revenge is the reason Abby lost her friends, because in the world that is the last of us, one hateful act births another. 10/10… Expand

Es mejor que su precuela, superando en todos sus aspectos menos en narrativa. Una casi-obra maestra.     Best story-telling I've ever experienced in any kind of media. Never has a game had me sit there with wide-open eyes of astonishment and/or shock as often as this one did. It ingeniously depicts its characters not as good or bad but as shades of grey. Naughty Dogs best work yet and an improvement of the first part in every way!

    The best graphics, animations, really fun gameplay. And yes, you can kill annoying doggies, even burn them alive (which is recommended).
    One of the best games ever!

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
